She's
Unsupervised. Unsupervised.
Sydney
Unsupervised.
Caitlin Clark
Yeah. Yes, yes, yes. Okay. We say what we want and yeah, we say what we feel? Sitting tmp of the mix and they be keeping it real on brand, off topic, out of pocket Anything you need, they got it why don't you shout? We know they gonna block it when it's game time and you know I'm gonna block them and we cover everything like whoa, who harder than us? And yeah, we looking down on haters? Cause they smaller than us and yeah, my flow is so damn sick I be coughing it up. You we gonna fly? Well then I'm calling your blood.
Sydney
Oh, my God. What's up, y' all babysitters? Y' all look good. We're so excited that y' all came out. We heard people were who was in line at 7:30 or 8. Damn, y' all didn't go out last night. I was so early. Y' all was just girl.
TP
No, same, same, same.
Sydney
We love y'.
Caitlin Clark
All.
Sydney
Y' all enjoying All Star Weekend so far? It's been good. It's been a wild start to the season.
TP
It's been a really wild start to
Sydney
see, matter of fact, where my protected species at? Crazy as hell.
TP
Before we get started, we do we have sponsors, y'?
Caitlin Clark
All?
Sydney
Yeah, we do. Yeah, we do.
TP
We have a big sponsor, y'.
Sydney
All, so we can keep. Keep getting sponsors. And we could, if we keep getting sponsors, the pod keep making money. We could do more stuff to give y' all some free stuff sometime. Go ahead, tags. And speaking of free stuff, everybody is
TP
leaving here with a suave, sulfate free hair care swag.
Sydney
Okay, I lied. I lied. Wait, wait, wait.
TP
I did tell a lie.
Sydney
She did tell a little lie. They just said in our ear. Not everybody.
TP
So that was actually kind of heartbreaking.
Sydney
I'm sorry we got y' all riled up.
TP
So sorry about that.
Sydney
Some people will leave with a swallow. Exactly. Still cheer. Cause it could be you. And you don't want to hate, you know, other people just cause it's not you. All right, Your blessing will come. But, yeah, it's been a wild start to the season. Do you have, like, you have a favorite moment from the WNBA first half of the season so far? Anything, like, funny, Anything wild?
TP
Actually, something happened pretty recently that I thought was kind of funny. And I don't know if it took off because I'm not like, chronically online.
Sydney
Yeah. Who's chronically online?
TP
Okay, we love that. But let's work on.
Sydney
It's some of y' all in here, huh?
TP
So the other day, this literally happened last week?
Sydney
Yeah.
TP
You know, our beloved Becky always loves to get on the refs. I don't know if anybody knows where this is going.
Sydney
Oh.
TP
But she kind of flatlined. And by flatlined, I mean just laid out, going after the ref, trying to tell him something, and then she ate it.
Sydney
That was like. Remember when that happened with JJ Last year? She ran Sandy the fuck over.
TP
Yeah.
Sydney
She bulldozed Sandy and then got up and still kept yelling at the ref or something like that. So I don't know. I don't know if I don't know. Is Becky losing some equilibrium?
TP
Must have been off a little bit.
Sydney
All right, Becky, we're praying for you, girl. We hope all is well, but this is the 30th season. We saw a lot of players last night on the red carpet. CBA Money doing them right. Orange carpet.
TP
What I say, wow, she's colorblind
Sydney
on the orange carpet. I was like, that. CBA Money is doing them well. Like, the players look good. Anybody? Was anybody at the orange carpet last night?
TP
No.
Sydney
Y' all saw video. Must say Jonquail looked great.
TP
Jonquill Dom, Olivia Miles. Dom's Olivia Miles.
Sydney
She had on some stuff that wasn't even released.
TP
She was like, this is fall 2026. I was like, that's. We're a little.
Sydney
We're early.
TP
Like, that's exclusive. Damn, we're rich now. Like, we made it.
Sydney
But we love that. We love that for you, y'. All. Yeah.
TP
This is last year's.
Sydney
Y' all might remember. Early in the pod, we said, what was that, like, the middle season? It was like, the first few games of the season. Who are Dallas fans in here? All right, well, some of y' all was bugging out early in the season. Y' all was pissed. Y' all was online. Oh, we're on a bad track. Yeah.
TP
Three games in. It's.
Sydney
Y' all gotta be cool. Some of y' all maybe never played sports before, but what are they in, like, fifth place right now or something?
TP
Yeah, it feels like they're in first, though, the way that they're trending. I'm like, the Wings are in first place in my head. I don't know where they're actually sitting. Thank you, honey.
She's
Alicia Clarkson.
TP
Alicia Clarkson.
Sydney
Good morning, everybody. Not you correcting us on your team. The record. That's our bad girl. Sorry. Sorry. You've been playing well, too, Leash. When you get in there. When you get in there. Hey, but. Hey, hey, The Senate TP and Alicia
TP
Clark show next year.
Sydney
No, no, there really ain't nothing to laugh about. Alicia, how old are you? 38? 39. 39, 35. How many of y' all at 39 could get out and play a single minute in a professional women's basketball game? No, no, no. Kudos, my girl. We're proud of you. We love you.
TP
We love you, honey.
Sydney
Seriously. So the WNBA All Star Game, and
TP
also, we told y' all about the Connecticut.
Sydney
It's nothing to say there. Matter of fact, they got that. As one of the boys.
TP
Yeah.
Sydney
Simply just saying. Connecticut sun and Seattle Storm.
TP
This is the exact line. The Connecticut Sun 6 and 23, and the Seattle Storm 7 and 20 are at the bottom and looking towards lottery positioning. So that's a positive spin on just being in last place and second to last place.
Sydney
Who thinks juju's gonna come out next year?
TP
Yeah, who's hoping juju comes out next year? Okay. Yeah.
Sydney
Cause I mean, Connecticut's obviously gonna be in Houston, y'. All. You know what y' all need to do? Y' all need to pray for me that I can get back on that Houston team. Look, I'm gonna just put that energy out there. I'm from Houston, born and raised. I rep my shit. The city will be live. Y' all pray for me. I'm like, I'm making my comeback. I'm getting stronger. Let's put that. Put that energy in the air for me. Okay? We appreciate y'.
Caitlin Clark
All.
Sydney
We appreciate y'.
Caitlin Clark
All.
TP
Yeah, I also want those same prayers, too. We don't have a team in New Orleans, so Houston would be the closest thing I've ever had to a home team. So my girl, my girl, my dog.
Sydney
Okay, y', all, we are going to play a game. I think a lot of y', all, y' all already got the equipment in hand and we are gonna bring out a special guest, y'. All. Our girl, she. She is. Oh, my God.
TP
Bring her out.
Sydney
She's born and raised. Give it up. Give it up for our girl. Give it up. No, I'm giving you an intro still, y'.
TP
All.
Sydney
I'm gonna read it out. Our girl, she. She is born and bred out of Chicago. She's an Emmy, Golden Globe nominated independent spirit, and Peabody award winning multi hyphenate. She's a comedian, a creator, a writer, actress, producer and performer. Her work has been seen on Southside, on hbo, Southside, Sherman's Showcase, on Hulu, jury duty. She was Bailiff Nikki, if y' all remember, on Amazon, co producer of Netflix's season one of a different world reboot Emmy awards and head creator, head writer and creative and producer of the 25 and 26 record breaking and revamped BET Awards with much more to come. Thank you.
She's
Hey, do my. Hey, listen, if you don't think you attend, who gonna think you attend? So.
Sydney
Hello.
She's
Hey.
Sydney
Hello.
TP
But also my favorite title that she's carrying carries for us is a mentor. She was there on day one when we started the sit in TP show way back when.
Sydney
What up, Carly?
TP
So is Carly.
Sydney
Hey, so y'. All. The. The sitting TP show, the whole logline and premise, the two WNBA benchwarmers striving to become the face of the league despite the fact that nobody asked them to. Karlie, Stand up, Carly. Stand up. Yeah, this. This is. Who's responsible for that. Carly came up. It's my fault. So that was. Carly brought she on as the writer for all of our sketches on the show.
She's
And look at him now. Man, this is crazy.
Sydney
But what we read off was just like that's who she is to other people.
TP
Like TP said, she's been an absolute mentor to us. And since day one, she's just got us. Guided us through our standup last night. And I heard y' all killed building last night.
She's
Killed it.
TP
We did some stand up. She was helping us write that. But before we get into sheets, we are going to play a little game. It's called. It's called the Newlywed game. But don't get that conflicted. We're actually not dating still. We're still not dating. And we want to know how well the babysitters know us. So we're going to ask a series of questions and everybody has their sitting CP paddle. Going to play along with you. Sheed.
Sydney
You can also play along to see what you know. And we're going to do it on three after. After we read the question. Then we're going to go 1, 2, 3, and then show your thing after 3 or on 3?
TP
On 3. On 3.
Sydney
So 1, 2, 3.
Caitlin Clark
3.
TP
Yeah. Okay. Okay. All right, so first. First one. All right, who is more competitive?
Sydney
One, two, three.
TP
Yeah, Pretty.
Caitlin Clark
Okay.
TP
I have one vote. Oh, two votes. I have two votes. Thank you so much for thinking that.
Sydney
I do.
TP
I mean, I think you are more
Sydney
competitive and I'm not even super competitive, to be honest, but I think out of the two of us, I am. We're not like the crazy. We're not Kelsey Plum.
TP
Yeah, I couldn't have said it any better since
Sydney
okay, next. Who would be a better contestant on Love Island? Wait, you got to do it on three. One. One, two, three.
TP
Oh, my gosh. It looks like I'm getting about 80% of the time.
Sydney
Okay. A lot of unprotected, which is so wild.
TP
I think Sydney would be questioning the process way too much. But I would pay to see you on there. Like, I would love to see you on Love Island.
Sydney
Why you pick tp?
She's
I picked TP because it's hard to play with you. I'm saying, like, why Joke alive. No, I'm saying not joking. Way, like, on some black woman. Hard to play with you.
Sydney
Oh, yeah. Don't play in my face.
She's
Like, don't you not finna play in my face?
Sydney
I'm mad right now just thinking about it. Don't ever fucking. I don't care what the script be like. Don't ever write me no character that's being played with.
She's
Yeah, like, that's what I meant on that sorry tv.
TP
You can mess with me. It is fine.
Sydney
Okay. Who's messier on the road? 1, 2, 3, 3.
TP
Oh, wow. This is actually shocking that I got. It might be a little half and half.
Sydney
I've got one. What do we give off? I mean, what do I give off?
TP
That's messy,
Sydney
disheveled, security. Yeah, I'll dishevel your ass out of here. Shit. Talking about disheveled. All right, who you pick? Tp. Why you said tp.
TP
I just feel like my hair does seem like I'm a little bit more unorganized than you. I think he's like, whoa, she just woke up and showed up today. No, I tried, y', all, but I. I do feel like I'm alive.
Sydney
You gotta put some suave in that bar where the camera. Say it again. Okay.
TP
I just feel like. Yeah, I use, like, packing cubes, and, like, all my stuff is perfectly.
Sydney
I started using them, though.
TP
I'm proud of you.
Sydney
Packing cubes. When you travel, do I use what packing cubes? Like, you put your stuff in those
She's
cubes, like, the packing. I don't.
Sydney
You know the things that, like, zip up that keep it more organized.
Caitlin Clark
Oh, yeah.
She's
I keep my. Everything's very organized.
Sydney
You give that. She.
She's
I mean, listen, I didn't. I have somewhere else to go. I didn't come dressed like a church mother on.
TP
On.
Sydney
On purpose.
She's
Okay.
TP
Sheets.
She's
Like, I was baptism.
Sydney
I wasn't gonna say nothing.
She's
I got some shit to do. Do after this. I'm a multi hyphen.
Caitlin Clark
It.
Sydney
I said her nephew getting baptized after I'M done.
TP
She's got sneakers on, though. You're good.
She's
I was like, man, okay. Yeah. But I. I organize all my stuff.
Sydney
Okay. All right, next one.
TP
Okay. Who's more likely to leak a team secret?
Sydney
Ooh, don't raise them already.
TP
Hey, I like where your vote is in the back over there. Yeah. Okay, ready? One, two, three. Yeah, exactly, everybody. Okay, so I'm looking at about 90% Sid, which I do feel like, percentages wise, that makes a lot of sense. Sydney has accidentally outed somebody before. A complete stranger. We don't know this person for sure. They were closeted.
Sydney
I'm looking for Mari because she know the story. I did. It was an accident. They was talking about this dude, and to me, he was so clearly gay. I was like, oh, the gay dude with the manicure? Eyebrows, something like that. He had a slit in the lip liner, and they were like, oh, yeah, I think you're talking about him, but he's not gay. I said, in what world is that not a homosexual?
TP
You mean Sean?
Sydney
You mean Sean. That blew me. That blew me. Okay, let's get. Let's get a fun one. Okay, who is more likely to miss the team bus?
TP
Okay.
Sydney
One, two, three.
TP
Yeah, she's okay.
Sydney
Who picked.
TP
Okay, we're looking at a 5050 crowd here.
Sydney
Yeah. Who picked me? Cause of color, people time. No, raise it if you pick me.
TP
Because of that, Alicia's raising her hand very high. Hey, I think we need to all trust Alicia's sign because she's dealt with both of them.
She's
Us.
Sydney
Oh, this is a good question for she.
TP
Yeah, she.
Sydney
Who is more likely to survive a zombie apocalypse? One, two, three.
She's
I'm split. I'm split. I feel like both of y' all got characteristics to survive some like that.
Sydney
See, but this.
TP
No, I wouldn't care that I got to pick one.
Caitlin Clark
But. What?
Sydney
But. But what? What would you, actually. Because, honestly, and I've talked about this with tp, with other people. I'm not trying hard to survive no zombie shit.
Caitlin Clark
No, no.
Sydney
Cause to me, it's a sign that that's my time.
She's
So hard. Cause I like. My question is, I'm so, like, logically brilliant on some shit. I'm like, well, Sid wouldn't even show up if she noticed that. Hello. And then TP's just like. She would be.
TP
I would initially try.
She's
They wouldn't want to kill her.
TP
They'd be like, there's this big dupe that's like, handing us. No, I feel like I would try for a little bit, and I'M like, you know what?
Sydney
But at what point do you give up? And it depend on what kind of zombie. If it's the war. War Z that's jumping high, like, from the ground to over a wall. Nah.
She's
If it's like, I'm gonna try to
Sydney
kill myself before me because I don't even want to live as a zombie. Would you want to live as a zombie?
She's
No, because.
Sydney
Is that living?
TP
I mean, they live a thrilling life.
Sydney
I don't know. I don't think I could do it.
TP
Doesn't seem so bad.
Sydney
I don't think I could do that. Okay, but that. That. That takes us perfectly into our segment with She's. She's. We got to talk to you about one of our favorite moments from recording the sitting TP show.
She's
Oh, my God. I already know.
Sydney
You probably know what it is.
TP
Oh, nobody come to mind because y'
Sydney
all always bring it up. But they gotta know.
She's
They know.
Sydney
They gotta know the coach. So we spent a week. We spent a week in. In la, and we spent a week in Vegas when we shot the SIT and TP show and the week in la on the last day of shooting, we were having friends over and we
TP
had, like, a little rap party.
Sydney
It was a little rap party.
TP
It was at this Airbnb. This awesome Airbnb.
She's
It was not awesome.
TP
It was awesome.
Sydney
It was not.
TP
Caesar was so awesome.
She's
That shit was haunted house, like, nonsense.
TP
It was kind of. Which is why this story has to be brought up. So Cindy had this wonderful idea to just invite everyone over. Well, we invited everyone over together. But then when we got there, city was like, all right, I need everyone to label off. 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2. I need all the ones behind me. And we're like, are we going on a field trip? Like, what's going on here? The answer actually to that was, yes, there was a unfinished basement. And when I say unfinished, it looked like it should have been in the Shining. There was a single light bulb that, like, dropped from a wire. You had to, like, click it on and off. There was for sure death amongst us down there. Like, it was so scary when. When she numbered us all off, she then said, okay, group one, follow me down into the basement. That's when she made an exit.
Sydney
She's. Cause I told him. I was like, all right, yo, we're going to play a game. Team one, team two, we going to go down into the basement. Whoever can stay down there the longest with the lights off for five minutes is the winning team.
TP
What kind of sid game is That
Sydney
a lot of Team 1 was also comprised of the black people at the party.
TP
And me. I was on team one.
Sydney
You were on team one. Everybody on team one was like, hell, no, I'm not fucking with her. S. Absolutely not. She literally got up. She said, sit on her shit. Yeah.
She's
Like, okay, Chicago. Anybody? Chicago here. We. It's hosted.
TP
Okay.
She's
Just like you from Houston, I'm every bit of from Chicago.
Sydney
And y' all don't play, so we
She's
don't do goofy shit.
Sydney
We don't.
She's
And that was goofy shit. I wasn't gonna let. She tried to lure me in the basement of the house from home alone, too. When he set all them booby traps up and shit. That's exactly what. What it looked like. They're not painting you the clear picture, but I was just like, no. I got my coat and was like, I'm out.
Sydney
We thought she was joking. We thought it was, like a fake exit.
She's
And then I, like, didn't come back.
TP
No. When we came out of the basement, which is not the same thing as coming out the closet, she was no longer at the party. And that was it.
Sydney
That was it.
TP
But she did so many miraculous things. We had a scene that was planned for a player. Actually, Alicia was in this scene. It was the beauty shop scene. And we showed up. It was a regular day in Vegas. Everything was all good. And we found out that we couldn't find a player that was supposed to be in the set.
Sydney
Dee.
TP
We were so happy to see Sheets.
Sydney
What up, Sheets?
TP
She was like, I'm working. We were like, she is in this back room of this random room that we were in, just rewriting this entire scene.
Sydney
Scene.
TP
That whole scene was made that morning, like, an hour before, and it was flawlessly executed and was in a much better mood after it was pulled off. But she's.
Sydney
To this day, she's probably don't. With Dee. Dee. Dee. Dee Richards. If you are, we'll clip this and tag you, girl. She's. Don't ever approach her in public.
She's
But that's. That's why.
Sydney
Thank you.
She's
But that's why I have so much respect for y' all and, like, for Carly. Cause what a lot of people don't know is, like, okay, yeah, we know y' all are dope black dope basketball players. But in the inter. Hey, TP got happy as hell.
Sydney
Said TP got happy.
She's
She was like, yeah, Cheetz.
TP
White people live for that.
She's
We're like, TP got happy.
Sydney
I meant.
She's
But no, like, in our world of entertainment and in my World as a multi hyphenate, we can't. Like, you got five minutes. And then. Or when we're doing a live sketch or like what y' all see on tv, it's really a lot of intensity and intentional work. And to do something like that and to see y' all do it so flawlessly, because all the pieces matter. It wouldn't be funny if it wasn't for the people. In order to see AC come in and kill it. Like, it wasn't. It didn't start with her. It started with the person who didn't show up. But we can't wait. We just have to fix it so when people when they listen off. And I was just joking, I wasn't all them credits, but it's like all of those things, they really matter. And it takes so much time. And I'm so proud of y'.
Caitlin Clark
All.
She's
Cause I seen this when it started. And to see you all like literally thriving on WNBA All Star week and online. And they killed the comedy show last night. What y' all don't know is the top of the week or two weeks ago, they hit me up. I'm like, yo, we gonna do a punch up session. It's she like, do all the other comics do this? And I'm like, name me a big time comic. I've either worked with them or they do this. And then do me a favor, y' all too. When you watch your next standup set from one of your favorite comics, wait till those credits roll and you'll see writers. They have people who they run these with so that it can go the way it needs to go. And I'm like, y' all are in this world now. You pros. Like, we. I'm gonna treat you like that. And they killed it. I had friends who went. And I'm very proud of y' all because y' all take this just as serious as you did on the court.
Sydney
So thank you. Thank you, y'.
She's
All.
Sydney
No, for real, look, she's got us ready, y'. All. I'm the ultimate procrastinator. I don't really like asking for help with stuff. TP told me like two weeks before the show, she was like, yeah, like, I'm getting on a call with she soon.
TP
I'm planning meeting after meeting with she's planning meeting.
Sydney
She's like, I'm gonna have her, like, look at my jokes, help me make some corrections, all that stuff. And I'm, you know, I'm listening. I'm like, no, that's cool. Like she's just gonna be. That's gonna be dope, blah, blah. And we get off the phone, and I'm thinking. I'm like, I probably need to.
TP
You've only done it two. You've done it two more times than me. And you're like, oh, my God, that's so good for you. Like, what a wonderful idea.
Sydney
Just get up there and ramble and start talking. So she. I actually hit she. I was like, yeah. Like, help me out. She was like, I knew your ass wasn't gonna help what you say. She was like, you a Leo.
She's
Like, you a Leo. And y'.
Sydney
All.
She's
You know, y' all try to do all. They try the Leo, try to be the producer, the record. Like, I know how y' all are. I listen. They do. I love. I love everybody. But I know Sydney. But it ended up being cool because I was treating her just like how I treat. Like, if I'm sitting with whoever. Whether you got a Netflix special or not, like, beats matter. The time you put in matters.
Sydney
She told me. She said, take that up. No,
She's
my mentor. My mentor from shows, Debbie Allen, all them, they told me, if you got to make the joke strong and you got to make the idea strong, and if you're not laughing, take that out.
Sydney
Check it out. Yeah.
She's
It ain't nothing personal, even with this. It's. This is like this because y' all care and y' all passionate about it. Y' all killed it last night because you put all of that in, so. And it. And it was some. That was like. It wasn't funny. Save it for the.
Sydney
Yeah, yeah.
She's
You be married to jokes, and your feelings are hurt, but then when you get rid of you, like, oh, I get it.
Caitlin Clark
It was.
She's
The beat didn't make sense.
Sydney
Yeah. You made ours flow way, way better. You did tp.
TP
It felt way more comfortable.
Sydney
Tell them your closing line. TP for everybody who wasn't at the show.
TP
Was anybody there?
She's
She didn't do it. She didn't do it at first.
TP
Okay, y'.
Sydney
All.
TP
So I had just, like, this really good joke.
She's
Nah, do it like how you do it.
TP
I did this whole set. And by whole set, I mean, like, just five minutes, and I was landing.
She's
I was doing tp.
Sydney
Stand up. Drop the note cards.
TP
Oh, my God. I'm gonna have no cards.
Sydney
Drop the note cards.
TP
Cause you didn't have. Okay, I didn't have no cards. This is my mic. It's Sydney, do your mic. I said that's my time for tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for Having me, if you like this. My name is Teresa Plaizos, and if you thought this was shitty, then my name is Caitlin Clark, everybody.
Sydney
Hilarious.
TP
And honestly, I got the same response last night. It was. It was my best joke of the night, and
Sydney
it hit really hard, and it crushed.
She's
Now rewind back to last week, and she's like, man, I got. Oh, no, I'm not. I'm like, nah, we need to do this shit. As a matter of fact, do it like this. Because if you believe in it, this shit is funny. That's all comedy is you believing it and it's your experience, but that shit was funny.
TP
I do have a question for you, though. We. We grew up, like, playing basketball and sports, and this was something that, like, we just learned to love or fell into. And, like, we love it now. When you were Baby Sheets, what was. What was your vision for yourself? And did you see yourself where you are now?
She's
When I was little, I either knew I was going to be what I'm doing now, an astronaut or a dj.
TP
Wow, what a spectrum.
She's
And it wasn't until. Cause I was always really smart, but I was always really funny. And when I got to college, I used to put together all the comedy shows being em. The fashion show. I didn't know it had a name, though. I didn't know I was producing and doing all this shit. And then shout out to Second City of Chicago. I'm an alum of there, so I'm an alum of Second City IO like, this is a huge comedy theater city. And after I came from college, I had, like, full scholarships, all that. And that's where I kind of, like. I was like, oh, I'm really doing this. And then after that, it just kind of took off. But I never knew. I always knew kind of what I was going to do. I didn't know how I was going to do it. And that's usually the case with a lot of people who are just naturally talented. Like, y' all just got this shit naturally in y'. All. You just happen to play basketball, too. That's usually how it is. It's just. If you tap into it, it can happen. Because look. Look at y'.
Sydney
All.
She's
Like, this is. This doesn't happen for everybody. I know some ball players who, like, man, I'm thinking about trying stand up, and I'd be like, that's cool. And that's.
TP
I can see that.
She's
Make your real estate, or vice versa. You have actors who is like, you're a great actor. Just. But y' all really like really care about everything you do. And it shows and you're funny.
Sydney
Thank you. And y', all, look, if you don't got people. And this is why we, once we met she's. Because, you know, she could have just been the writer for the show and then we parted ways. But it's the energy about people that you want to have, you know, with people that are in your life. People need to be speaking positivity into your life. Encouraging you, holding you accountable, challenging you.
She's
Integrity.
TP
Integrity.
Sydney
Trust, Intensity. If you don't got people like that in your life, you gotta reevaluate some stuff. Really and truly, you know, we always want to talk to y' all and leave y' all with a message, whether it's about our own life or experience. But it's very important. Whether it's your friends, your family, somebody you're dating. Those characteristics matter. And people. Because who you are around your friends determine your future. They really do. And we're lucky to. To have such a good friend. And she now she's. We gotta ask. Okay, so what was on the scene on the set of Sid and TP Show? What was your favorite, like, sketch that you created? Because for. For me, it was the flage scene Studio. Who all seen the scene in the studio? That rapping scene, the rap.
TP
She came out with the raps for both of us.
She's
That was that thing, that one. The flage and the rap shit. That Chuck E. Cheese bar. What's up, bro?
TP
The Chuck E. Cheese bar was so
She's
hard, cuz people still be quoting that. They be like the. The pizza. Chuck E. Cheese do be busting and that one.
Sydney
And no shout out Chuck E. Cheese though.
TP
Yeah, that pizza really is busting.
Sydney
That pizza do be busting. Hey, we would love some for us and our audience.
TP
It's not weird if you get pizza at Chuck E. Cheese, right?
Sydney
For real.
TP
Just don't like hang out there.
She's
That one in the. The drag queen one.
Sydney
The drag, yeah. So we had the drag. The drag queens. Wait, what were their names again?
TP
Hiding the closet and Alandria.
Sydney
Angeria.
TP
Angeria.
Sydney
Angeria. So we had drag queens that was awesome, teaching us how to talk shit. But like in their slang. And it was just like boots and just like that. Hilarious.
TP
And we don't talk shit, just generally.
Sydney
No.
TP
So that was such a learning curve for us.
Sydney
It was such a learning curve. Okay, she. What is your most exciting project that you have coming up that we need to know about? What's anything that you want to plug? Like, we need. We need to know that.
She's
So really excited. Got to be a part of the. Like, a different world is huge in the culture.
Sydney
Yes.
She's
And they had hit me last year to be a part of bringing it back. And so that the new season of A different world drops September 24th on Netflix. So huge. And it's like all the OGs are back. So that's really cool. I'm really excited about that. Really excited for people. And it's needed in the culture right now. Just. It's just needed. And then I'm excited. I got some other things coming. Some shit that I can't say, but I can say that I was just tap to do with the job that I did on the BET Awards, that the Emmys may be really good this year.
Sydney
Okay.
Caitlin Clark
So.
Sydney
Okay.
She's
Make sure y' all tap it on.
Sydney
Hey, I like what you did. Cause the. The Kiki coming to take over. Coming to take over. Juicy shit. Kiki should have been hosting.
Caitlin Clark
They need to have.
Sydney
I don't know how they have.
She's
Next year. She will be.
Sydney
Oh, you did it.
She's
I mean, you set it up so it can be that way. But also, you know, while we're here, we ain't gonna, like, it's obvious. Like, Kiki is a dope black woman who has been doing that since she was eight.
TP
Yeah.
Sydney
So when we.
She's
When I wrote it, it was like, we need to say this shit.
Sydney
Yeah.
She's
Because she should have been. She could have been the host. But it's like, how can we set this up where it happens and it could be funny as hell? And that's how you do it.
Sydney
It was beautifully done. Okay. How can. How can our. Our lovely babysitters. How can they support your endeavors moving forward for it? Like, what can they. What can they do? Follow you online or.
She's
Man, keep following them, because wherever they at, I'm gonna be there. I don't. I don't really be on. I got one social media, and all I do is talk, praise God, and laugh. So I'm consistent.
TP
Hey, if you're into that, follow. She's on Instagram.
Sydney
What's your tag?
She's
It's the real. She's. That's me. But that's all I got. Like, I'm. Other than that. You find me where the goodness is. That's where I'm at.
Sydney
But. But we love you, my dog.
She's
I love you, too.
Sydney
And we appreciate you taking time for real. We're proud of you, too.
She's
Thank y'. All. Now, let me
TP
thank you for coming on.
She's
Let me get to this boat. Back to me unsupervised.
Sydney
Look at this shit.
TP
Oh, it seems like we have an inquiry.
She's
Read it.
TP
It says, call me. Oh, it's a 504 number as well. Shout out to the 504, baby.
Sydney
Green Romper. Let's go. Call me. I'm in the green romper. All right. What are your big three astrologically? I'm not that kind of gay. I don't know. The sun rising, moon lowering. Son, I don't. I don't know all of that. I'm a Leo, and I just think we're. I just think we're the best, but I think that fits a Leo to think that we're the best.
TP
So I'm.
Sydney
From what I'm learning, I don't know
TP
what tourist means, but I'm that okay. I feel good about it, though. I'm feel confident in my space as a tourist. Okay, we got. We got some Toronto Tempo fans in the building. Anybody a Toronto Tempo fan?
Sydney
Okay. All right, two of y'. All. Wait, is one of them Sandy? No, that's not Sandy.
TP
Toronto Tempo fans want us to come to Canada and do a lide pod in Canada.
Sydney
We would love to at some point. Uh, okay. All right. If you never made it big in the wnba, what would your career have been? Um, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Too much school.
TP
I also wanted to be a veterinarian until I realized that the animals are, like, stupid. And it made me so sad. And I was like, I can't do it.
Sydney
No, Dennis. My family. My family. I'm just, like, too emotional and sensitive. My family used to have to hide if we were driving by a dead dog or something in the road. They would literally have to distract me to get me to not be, like, upset for the rest of the day. And so it was a thing. It was an effective, like, look over here. Is that Britney Spears? I'm like, I already saw it.
TP
This is a funny one. Thank you. Valerie M. When did y' all know y' all were soul mates? P.S. it's my birthday. Happy birthday, Valerie M. Where's Valerie? Valerie, thank you for celebrating with us today. It means the world to us.
Sydney
Yes. Wait, so what was it?
TP
When did y' all know y' all were soulmates? Pretty much off rip. Like, we. I. I walked into practice, I was playing in Spain, and they were already in training camp. I came in really late, and I saw this girl during a water break, like, using this as her time to practice her standup. She was going from tired crowd to tired crowd. Be like, hey, thirsty. Yeah, we've just been running for about three hours, cracking people up left and right. And I was like, that one. That's my girl.
Sydney
Yeah. Pretty, pretty much right away, I think our energies just matched. We were on the bench a lot together. There was time to build a relationship. And so, yeah. Yeah, we just the same kind of people, raised the same. We love people. We love making people feel good and feel seen and laugh, and it just worked out. Thank you. Thank you for the question. Okay, let's see. What's this? Sid, do you think you'll come back to the league? Fingers crossed. I hope so. And then, tp, what's your favorite Nola restaurant? And can I take you to mine?
TP
Oh.
Sydney
Oh, okay. Babysitter. It's getting a little.
TP
Good thing I have this fan with me. It's really hard to pick just one restaurant that's my favorite. In New Orleans, I'm like, anything that isn't a chain, you will. Will find some good food, really amazing food.
Sydney
Yeah.
TP
If I had to pick one restaurant that I was like, you should go and get, like, everything that you need to get.
Sydney
Yeah.
TP
I might pick mothers. I might pick mothers.
Sydney
Yeah. That's your. Did you. Are you the owner?
TP
Hey, we're bringing out the owner of mothers.
Sydney
No, no, girl.
TP
No mothers. You can just get. You can get soul food. You can get fried chicken. You can get red beans and rice. You can get boudin. You can get hot sausage. You could just get it all. Gumbo, jambalaya.
Sydney
That's right.
TP
Is there.
Sydney
Okay.
TP
Is there.
Sydney
Okay. I'm gonna do. Let's do one more.
TP
We got time for one more.
Sydney
Yeah. Okay.
TP
Oh, no, wait.
Sydney
We got.
TP
We have time for more than one more.
Sydney
Yeah, we got more than one more. All right. Where do you think the next WNBA All Star game should be next year?
TP
New Orleans. I don't know if that's an.
Sydney
I would say Houston.
TP
Oh, yeah.
Sydney
I feel like Houston can tolerate it on top of the fact that they'll then have a team next season.
TP
I. I think Houston's such a good option, too.
Sydney
Okay.
TP
This is a really good one.
Sydney
All right.
TP
If you get. If you could go to space or in a deep sea submarine, which would you choose? After watching the documentary about the one that was going visit the Titanic or whatever, I think I'm good on underwater for the rest of my life. Yeah, no, I would. I would choose space, but I did. I always wanted to be. I wanted to be a veterinarian or an astronaut.
Sydney
Oh, she.
TP
I found out so young that you could only Be five, eight. And I was like, well, that sizes.
Sydney
So I like fourth grade.
TP
So at fourth, I was like, great. I guess I need to pivot on the astronaut thing.
Sydney
The other part was, what? Yeah, I'm not doing. I barely do anything on top of the water. I'm definitely not going to under it ever.
TP
Okay. But there was a disclaimer. Don't worry about safety or skills. So even with that, you're still worried
Sydney
with that, Then I would go, I
TP
feel like space is still more to see. Like, there is just, like, fish. I don't know.
Sydney
Who's a space person? Who's space? Who's doing space?
TP
Who's doing the sea, and who believes in mermaids? Oh, big mermaid crowd. Oh, okay.
Sydney
What? Say that again, Kati.
TP
Okay, I couldn't hear.
Sydney
Kati, repeat that in my ear, please. All right. What's your favorite part of being gay? Also, I'm naming my first born after you. Oh, my God. Wait, who, me or T.P. sarah, where are you? Huh?
Caitlin Clark
Okay.
Sydney
Sarissa or Tidney?
TP
Sydney is funny.
Sydney
Sydney. My favorite part of being.
TP
For short.
Sydney
Yeah. My favorite part of being gay.
TP
I think just girls, they're just better than.
Sydney
Yeah.
TP
I'm just saying, gay or not, I just feel like that's just, like, the best part about life. Just like dealing with women. When you have to deal with a guy, you're just kind of like, besides third string Ben, where's third string Ben? Ben. Thank you, Ben.
Sydney
We love Ben.
TP
We love Ben.
Sydney
Ben was waiting for this moment. Wait, wait. Do y' all have any question based on what we said throughout the show or anything that didn't write in.
TP
What's our favorite conspiracies right now? Let's shout out a few Birds aren't Real.
Sydney
Who? Birds aren't real.
TP
That is a Birds aren't Real. You know, that's been popping up on my algorithm a little bit. I'm like, I need to get invested in. Into that. I want to see more about that.
Sydney
Okay. Because I was seeing people talk about the goodness of birds and what's the
TP
craziest conspiracy you think?
Sydney
The craziest conspiracy. Let me see. I feel like.
TP
I don't know. It's so much fun right now with our current administration. It's like, which one do you pick?
Sydney
Oh, right. Yeah.
TP
Is Mitch McConnell dead?
Sydney
He's dead. Mitch McConnell.
TP
He's been dead. If I was alive and they were like, let's show Proof of Life. You wouldn't have a gibberish, gibberish newspaper and be like,
Sydney
Okay, so, all right. How do lesbians handle conflict amongst each other? What's that answer?
TP
I mean, like, just, like, communication, I think.
Sydney
Oil wrestling. What's the thing they're doing in New York?
TP
No, that's in New York.
Sydney
Yeah. Yeah.
TP
That's in our career spaces.
Sydney
I don't know. I feel like it's just handled through. I think it's just much more communication. I think women are just gonna get off of their chest what they have to say. Unless they are unhealed and need to go to therapy because they don't know how to communicate. But other than that, we're gonna talk through the emotions.
TP
But even then, I feel like your eyes start open. You're like, oh, what's wrong? And then, like, it draws out a communication period.
Sydney
But what I love. I saw somebody post a video the other day. They were like, the recap after y' all's fight, and you're, like, recapping what took place. And that is a hilarious moment because it's like, you were really wild. You were tripping.
TP
Hey, remember that time, honey, that I was like. Like, yeah. No, that was actually insane. This is a good one. Sidh. Also, I need to know this secret.
Sydney
Okay.
TP
As a friend.
Sydney
Yeah.
TP
This is from one Leo to another.
Sydney
Okay.
TP
One narcoleptic Leo to another. What's the secret to a good nap? Who is this?
Sydney
They didn't say the name. The secret to a good nap? Just be tired.
TP
No, that does not work.
Sydney
Be tired and have. Literally. I could fall asleep right there. I could have fallen asleep during this show if I was, like, comfortable enough. I'll fall asleep like this. TP knows I'll fall asleep. What's your scariest thing? That I've fallen asleep.
TP
And he can fall asleep in so many different ways. One of the scariest ways I've ever seen is most people, I can't sleep anywhere. Like, not even in perfect sleeping conditions. So it really pisses me off to see Sydney sleeping perfectly in non like, even, like, remotely ideal sleeping conditions. There was this one time that she was just sitting upright, like, there was no back. No back to her seat. And we were in conversation, and I made her laugh, and she was laughing. Just upright, not leaning, not, like forward. Imagine just being upright and laugh. Sleeving.
Sydney
She was in my face with a camera. She said, no way.
TP
Actually, no way.
Sydney
I'm like, what? I'm up. I'm up. You know when people try to act like they up, it's like, you're tired, and it's okay to Be tired, go to sleep. But I feel like it's like a knock. If you catch me falling asleep, I'm like, I got to stay up a little longer.
TP
No, I know. I know. If it's worth it to keep you
Sydney
up, maybe that's my competitive side.
TP
Just you, like, trying to fight through. Yeah, no, it's so.
Sydney
Okay, y', all, one more. One more question. We appreciate y' all writing these in. You already got one.
TP
No, these are a lot of ones that we pretty much already touched on.
Sydney
Well, this one's long. Oh, hey, sitting tp. Would you rather shit your pants in the middle of a game and nobody sees it? Or be accused of shitting your pants when you did it? Thanks, Abby. Abby, where are you? You don't look like you would write some shit like this. Would you rather shit your.
TP
No, Abby, No. Thank you for that question. I think I'd just rather shit myself. No, you know what? I think I'd rather have the rumor that you should. All press is good press. Even shitty press. Shitty press is good press. So, like, even if you guys thought I should myself, like, I think especially amongst the babysitters, there would be a sense of compassion.
Sydney
Like, it's okay. They're gonna share stories. She was sick. Y' all.
TP
Give her a break. In all of our comments section, if somebody's, like, even remotely rude, there's, like, 47 of you guys coming in. Like, no fucking way. They're women.
Sydney
Okay, so you would rather be accused than not?
TP
I'd rather be accused than not.
Sydney
Honestly, I would rather just shit in the middle of the game. Cause to me, that's a lot of press. It's no question about whether I did it. It's gonna be in a lot of places.
TP
Are you in your white jerseys, though?
Sydney
I'm in my white jerseys.
TP
Okay.
Sydney
Whenever anything negative happens in the W, it crosses so many media platforms. It can be the most positive thing, and it's like, three people pick it up. If it's something bad, everybody's talking about it. So they're going to be like a WBA player shit herself. Yeah. Because their league is so shitty and women suck. That's why she shit herself. So, yeah, I'd rather just shit and let people know it's okay. Just do some. Got to do some Booty Kegels or something.
TP
Booty Kegels is so funny, y'. All. Before we wrap up, just a few things. A, we got something to tease you guys, but B, I just wanted to bring attention to the fact that we have Sponsors.
Sydney
Yeah, we do.
She's
Yeah.
Sydney
Let me move. Let me move over here.
TP
Special shout out to Suave Sulfate Free Hair Care, y'. All. Get your hands on this stuff. Get your hands on all of this stuff. And we just. And we also wanted to.
Sydney
This is shampoo, mind you.
TP
Oh, it smells really great. Wait, I need some. Wait. Do me, do me. Judge me up. Thank you for your help. No, this is actually like.
Sydney
Sorry, Audio, listen.
TP
If you don't wear perfume, all you need to do is wear this because I'm actually getting a really nice.
Sydney
Yeah, you were like. Yeah, sorry, Audio. I was just, like, getting TP's, right.
TP
You're just using the curls.
Sydney
I was getting her curls right. With Suave Hydro Gloss sulfate free conditioner.
She's
Wow.
TP
What a plug. Sid, where can you find this?
Sydney
You can find it at a lot of stores. Go and check,
TP
y'.
She's
All.
TP
And we've been listening to you guys. We hear you, and we want to make you guys happy. So Sid and I have been hard at work designing a T shirt.
Sydney
Yes. No, honestly, tp. TP ended up designing it. She, like. She had the idea. It's yours. You did. You did the back of it. It looks really good.
TP
Okay. But only if you guys like it. And if you don't like it, Then we both did it. Then we both did it.
Sydney
It's cursed.
TP
So we do have two shirts.
She's
Yeah.
Sydney
But we gotta leave them with the. We gotta leave them with the message. All right, Audio, y' all know what to do. Y' all know what to do if you want us in your business. You want some advice? You want us to talk about some drama with you? DM us at unsupervised ctp.
TP
And as always, you guys make sure we're throwing kindness around like confetti.
Sydney
All right? So on three. On three, we need y' all all to throw your teacher. Throw your hands like this. So we could throw confetti around like kindness. And we're going to throw one of these to.
TP
It's kindness, like confetti. But you're.
Sydney
Yeah. What I say. I keep saying what I say.
TP
No, you're dyslexic.
Sydney
Maybe I might be.
TP
We got to get that tested.
Sydney
I might be. All right, say it again.
TP
My sister and dyslexia.
She's
For real.
TP
All right, everybody. And we make sure that we're throwing kindness around like confetti. Till next week, everybody. We appreciate you guys. You're going
She's
to. Unsupervised. Unsupervised.
Sydney
Unsupervised.
Caitlin Clark
Yeah. Yes. Yes. Yeah. We say what we want? And yeah, we say what we feel? Sitting tmp of the mix? And they be keeping it real? On brand, off topic, out of pocket? Anything you need, they got it? Why don't you shout when you know they gonna block it? When it's game time? And you know I'm gonna block it? And we cover everything like whoa, who harder than us? And yeah, we looking down on haters? Cause they smaller than us? And yeah, my flow is so damn sick? I be coughing it up? You said that we going flat? Well, then I'm calling your B.L.
Sydney
unsupervised?
She's
Unsupervised.
Sydney
Unsupervised. Sam.
