Sid
Oh, look who it is. Hey, Mom. Hey, Mama.
TP
We were just talking about you.
Sid
Yeah, and you're on the podcast right now. Mama, is there anything you want to say to the babysitters who are watching us? I want to say good luck to you guys. Wait, good luck to who? The. The listeners or us? To the listeners. Why are you saying good luck to them?
TP
It's obvious.
Sid
Because it's going to be hellish hell. Okay, Mama, well, I'll call you back when we're done shooting. I love you so much.
TP
We love you. Have fun.
Sid
Love you guys.
TP
Bye.
Sid
Bye. Okay, Mama. Also, don't trust anybody. Yeah, I never did. Bye, period. She always tells us that anywhere we leave to go, anytime we leave to go somewhere. She said y' all be. Do not trust anybody. I mean anybody to this day. To this day.
TP
I mean, you parents only give you advice that they feel like you need to hear, so maybe that reflection needs to be N word if you're still. If she feels.
Sid
Did you just say N word?
TP
N word.
Sid
N word.
TP
N word.
Sid
Did you just call me the N word? We're already canceled. This is our first.
TP
This is a bad look.
Sid
This is the first.
TP
This is a bad look. My apologies. Wait, Time out, Sid. They just said action for the first time, and I'm like, We have a podcast.
Sid
We have a podcast, y'.
TP
All.
Sid
It's called Unsupervised.
TP
It is called Unsupervised. And you guys don't know this yet, but tell them.
Sid
Tell them.
TP
I think we're gonna start referring to you guys as the babysitters, since we're the unsupervised adults that you guys are technically watching.
Sid
Y' all are watching us. Why does it feel like somebody's watching me? I can't hit that.
TP
It's been a long All Star Weekend.
Sid
Crazy All Star Weekend. So my voice is gone.
TP
Non existent. Yeah.
Sid
Fry died. And late to the side.
TP
It doesn't take much. But we were. We were so busy this weekend.
Sid
We were so busy. We're already getting off on our tangents, though. Well, y' all have been begging. You're actually so obsessed with us.
TP
Desperate.
Sid
It's kind of scary. But since this pod is so highly anticipated, we want to show y' all that we're women of the people.
TP
Yeah. We listen.
Sid
We listen.
TP
We look and listen.
Sid
Oh, my God. Not only we listen and we hear.
TP
It resonates.
Sid
Because there's a difference.
TP
There is a difference.
Sid
Some people listen and they do not hear. We hear y', all and we're Going to start off with postmodern feminist critiques of mascot behavior across franchises. Geez. Dissertation much? What are those words even mean?
TP
Break it down for us, Kate, since.
Sid
You know so much, since you got.
TP
Your degree, you know everything, law, English and just like, just put it out there for us.
Sid
Layman's terms, Kate.
TP
Thank you.
Sid
Shit. A video that we saw from on TikTok.
TP
Our good friend.
Sid
Our good friend. Her name is Kate Louiso.
TP
Thank you, Kate. We need people like Sid NTP to unpack it all, break the news to us, give us groundbreaking analysis. We have the true crime show that is the relationship between Caitlyn Clark and the WNBA refs.
Sid
So the video I made. See if we can roll the clip.
TP
We're going to roll the clip.
Sid
Why are we supposed to believe that refs are unbiased? I would be so biased if I was a ref. Could you imagine getting cussed out at your job? Like, it's almost a given. Every day you go to work, you're going to get cussed out by somebody and it's going to be publicly. You will be embarrassed. Today it's tough to be a ref.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
When I would go back to A and M where I played and have to ref like, or not even go back, like when I was still in school, ref in like elite camp games or like these are kids games that there is no weight on this. Nobody cares about the ref except for that one crazy parent who's there with their kid the whole day.
TP
And it's like there was people at the elite camp watching. Like, did you have like outside people commenting on your.
Sid
Oh, not like fans.
TP
Yeah, like, no, no, no.
Sid
Just people.
TP
So you just did it in a bubble situation. Like you didn't have the external pressure.
Sid
Not even the ext pressure. So I'm like, I made a video and I'm like, well, imagine being a ref. Like, yeah, you make a bad call but like you can't get them all right. Actually, like, we should know that just like there are mistakes in the game, there's going to be mistakes from a ref.
TP
Right?
Sid
But like the players, we're disrespectful. When you think about it, like, obviously, like it's a high stress environment. People are competing to win games, like championships on the line, jobs on the line, all of that. It is high intensity. But the way people flip to being such is like, that's still a person.
TP
For example, like there's. There's 10 people on the court. There's like maybe four people around the ball. The Referee's here. There's a lot of blockage going on. It goes off of, like, a fingernail. You call it the wrong way, there's a reaction.
Sid
How do you not see that?
TP
Okay, devil's advocate here. There was multiple bodies involved. Maybe there was blockage.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Of the vision.
Sid
The trajectory of the ball. It wasn't clear to see. It could have gone off either hand and bounced in that direction. Direction. That's just physics. So, like, they didn't get it right.
TP
Maybe you had to blink. Natural. Completely natural.
Sid
But we're frying them for it. So I, I. My video was essentially like, have some compassion.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
For them a little bit.
TP
Correct.
Sid
People were, like, confused in the comments. Like, why the would you be doing.
TP
Also, let's make this in, like, real life terms as well, please. If I'm a secretary, I have a little typo.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
I don't have thousands of fans being like, you misspelled restaurant. My bad. I can just go back and fix that. I don't have people commenting on watching it publicly, but refs, all their. And players.
Sid
Public embarrassment all the time.
TP
Public embarrassment is hard. You are publicly held accountable at all times. And also, no one's cheering for you.
Sid
No.
TP
Like, people are cheering for when they do it sarcastically. Right.
Sid
Oh, good job. You finally got one. Thank you. Isaac.
TP
But one person.
Sid
That's a real ref's name.
TP
But I like, I do like Isaac. Sorry. Isaac that. You were our example.
Sid
Sorry. It was the first name that came to mind, bro.
TP
I do one perk of being a ref. They get a lot of offers for, like, prescription glasses. There's people always offering really. To take off their glasses to the refs. So honestly, I thought you were saying.
Sid
Like, eye masters and other places.
TP
No, just from regular civilians coming to.
Sid
See women's basketball games, basically saying, like, you suck. Take these.
TP
Yeah, but.
Sid
But it's also kind of stupid for them to do that because it could make it worse. What's your prescription? You don't know their eyesight situation, so handing them your glasses could make the calls worse.
TP
Right.
Sid
So it's kind of like, if I was a rep, I would be like, you don't even know my eyesight. And, like, run away looking back like, you're. She's so stupid. And I go tell the other rep. I'm like, did you see what that freaking idiot said to me?
TP
That's how you try to get calls.
Sid
Exactly. So, look, we're not the messy type.
TP
No.
Sid
We got other WNBA people who are handling that honestly. WNBA attention now. Not just from. Obviously. We know y' all just saw a 72 hour stream from the Stubbs over All Star weekend. We would be remiss to not mention that.
TP
Yeah. Because I feel like that was a staple of the weekend.
Sid
It was those crazy quacks and the things that they talk about in the drama that they revealed over the course of the weekend. Not just about others but about themselves.
TP
Yeah. What I want everyone to take from this weekend is make sure if you do have a secret, the only person that can hold a secret is yourself and the UConn women's basketball team. Shout out to them. Shout out to them.
Sid
Because 100.
TP
We all heard the speculation for sure.
Sid
But that's kid business. I wasn't it. We weren't. We wasn't handling that. They don't have nothing to do with me. Them is children.
TP
We're post collegiate only. That's it.
Sid
So the ability to keep that information inside of that locker room for so long. Kudos to those girls.
TP
Girls.
Sid
And I would hope that Paige and Az were paying them under the table.
TP
They had to have been.
Sid
If not because you know how much money. Yeah.
TP
If they would have taken that.
Sid
Oh yeah.
TP
To a news outlet.
Sid
Several news outlets would have paid for the information. For cold hard facts.
TP
Facts.
Sid
I want the.
TP
Maybe even like photo evidence.
Sid
I need it all.
TP
Were. Were they like cuddling on the team bus? Like we don't know because that's how tight lipped the UConn women's basketball team.
Sid
Was 100% WNBA and women's college basketball. Like Twitter X. I don't call it X. I'm not. I'm calling it Twitter.
TP
And I'm a tweet. I'm on Twitter and tweeted.
Sid
His mama named him Twitter. I'm gonna call him Twitter. So I'm not changing that. So WNBA and college women's basketball. Twitter. TikTok. It has taken unfathomable like hold on viewers. Absolutely. Like you never had this sort of attention on women's basketball. Now that fans are weighing in paying attention to everything you post everything you say little things that everything are being picked up. People are studying body language. We have lip readers being sought out. People couldn't see what was being said. I forgot what the. I forgot what interaction this was.
TP
I know Sanaya at and the. And the fan was yelling at her.
Sid
Yes, yes, yes.
TP
And everyone's trying to read her lips.
Sid
So people are calling in this girl on TikTok who like does lip reading. They're tagging her and stuff to find out what was said. Yeah, like, they need that. You need that.
TP
What's her handle?
Sid
I don't know. I don't remember her handle. But it's just the fact that, like, you can't do anything without it being unnoticed at this point now. So I'm like, it really is a. Like a. A tribute to them for not releasing that information and relinquishing it.
TP
Because we went from a place where back in the day, again, we used to have to wear our. Like, our team was show. We didn't have to do business casual in the airport. We had to wear our Tulsa tees.
Sid
Oh, we did.
TP
And everyone was like, what, do you guys go to Tulsa University? And we were like, oh, yeah, no, no, we're actually on the women's. Professional women's. We're pros.
Sid
We're just in line with you for this commercial flight.
TP
But can we cut you guys? Because we're boarding in a few minutes.
Sid
We play tonight, actually, we play tonight when we land. Hope you guys understand severely unsafe. But hey, you do what?
TP
Pay it forward for the next generation. Look where we are now.
Sid
Wow. Good job. That's excellent. Okay, so we got the stub buds. Their craziness.
TP
Crazy.
Sid
So we'll just talk about what they. What they have released essentially, or what we know from social media. I think that's where I was getting.
TP
We're not here to release information, but we will speak on released information. We won't say it first, but we'll say it second or third.
Sid
So everybody's seen the trolling from Sanaya and Maria.
TP
We saw that. Yeah.
Sid
I find it hilarious. The reality of if it's true or not. You have your opinion.
TP
I just. I don't know. But I just truly don't know if.
Sid
It'S trolling, which sounds like you think that it. There could be some.
TP
I. Truth to it, you know, I'm no body language reader, but there's like little smirks that happen. And I'm like, we're cool. Right?
Sid
But tp, I will say that you don't even know when people are flirting with you, so.
TP
Okay, fine, we'll take that.
Sid
So I can't take you thinking, you know, when other people are with other people.
TP
Okay, I'll check. Fact taken. But then there's this fact, though.
Sid
Okay.
TP
We've been friends for a very long time. How many times have you looked at me like that? It's actually kind of sick because the way that you look at me is like, honestly, like one of disgust most of the time. And so, hell yeah.
Sid
In the words of Aaliyah Boston, hell yeah.
TP
Hell yeah. Oh, I learned this one. Look.
Sid
Hell yeah. Okay, so that's how you feel about it. I think that it is trolling to a degree that I love. Like, I love to never let. Never let the joke die.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
They're committed to this if it is trolling. They're committed to this if it isn't. It's still just, like, people are still asking questions about.
TP
They're there.
Sid
What do you say?
TP
All.
Sid
All press.
TP
All press is good press.
Sid
All press is good press. This is going to equate probably eventually to dollars, if it hasn't already, for them.
TP
Or marriage. Either way.
Sid
Either way, it's a win. Win.
TP
Maybe even kids, but Maybe. But the trolling is happening.
Sid
It is.
TP
I just don't believe it.
Sid
Okay.
TP
I believe it.
Sid
Oh.
TP
Not in trolling sense. So I believe in love.
Sid
Okay. Okay. Okay. Fair. I want to just see. It's funny. Love. Oh, love.
TP
I really wanted this whole episode to just be a karaoke.
Sid
She did. She begged for it.
TP
So that was just like.
Sid
We obviously had our next couple at All Star Weekend. Okay, Wait, what's that? I don't know their name. Dijonay and Alyssa. What's their name? Nijanae.
TP
Hey, babysitters. Help us with this one?
Sid
Yeah. I don't know if y'. All. Delissa. Okay, well, either way, they've been together, broken up, back together. We all know the history. Once again, we're just speaking on what we've heard others say. We're not bringing you anything.
TP
I mean, just to recap, we were there when they were together. We were there when they, like, broke up, I guess, for a short set of time. And you remember Dijonay Fell.
Sid
They've been together since.
TP
No, this is, like, picked up.
Sid
Picked her up in a very, very sexual way.
TP
Sensual. I was like, there's kids.
Sid
This is why I don't bring my kids to WNBA games.
TP
So that had. That did happen, though. And then everybody was so thrilled that they were like, whoa, free agency, reunited relationship.
Sid
Right?
TP
The Dallas Wings are adding a couple to their roster.
Sid
They were so hype about that. Only the W. Are you going to be with your girlfriend on a team?
TP
Well, not only the W. I feel like that's what the fans look for.
Sid
They do. They love the mess. They love the drama. They love the love.
TP
And then also, they're there for the heartbreak as well.
Sid
They are. They're waiting for it sometimes.
TP
Can we talk about, like, that fateful day where we Saw Nelissa get traded to the Aces.
Sid
Yeah, yeah. Yo. Yeah. Dijonay made a, like, get serious, girl. Djanae, get real. Like, you were never gonna see her again where she was, like, traded to.
TP
We'll never be together now.
Sid
She was traded to a team overseas or something. She's just.
TP
She's not in solitary confinement. You can still FaceTime.
Sid
You'll be good. You can call her. It's a time zone. Figure it out.
TP
Zone does suck.
Sid
Figure it out.
TP
Okay.
Sid
Yeah, but her post. I was weak. I was weak.
TP
Okay, what did the post say?
Sid
I don't remember exactly what it said, but it was just, like, gonna miss you. It had, like, hearts, I believe, and, like, pictures.
TP
What I want to know is, like, when Melissa got to Vegas, did Dijonay have, like, a spread waiting for her in her apartment? Like, was there roses? Because we all saw the roses for Dijonay's birthday.
Sid
We did.
TP
And the balloons.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
We were like, didn't. Alyssa, Ladies, when you take care of your studs, I got to ask this question. Are there balloons and roses for you? Do you get a candle?
Sid
Right, right, right.
TP
Do you get, like, a nice, warm bath? A bubble bath waiting?
Sid
Like, that's a great question. Because even in heterosexual relationships, as well as queer relationships, where there is a feminine presented woman and one who's more masculine presented, it seems like the masculine presenting ones get the short end of the stick a lot of the time, just like men do in relationships. It's like, you give the gift, you think about even. Not even a romantic relationship. But what do people always give dads on Father's Day?
TP
Like, a golf club. My dad doesn't like.
Sid
Okay, no babes.
TP
Okay.
Sid
No, think less expensive.
TP
Okay.
Sid
A tie. People are usually given, like, ties to dads. And, like, I wasn't gonna say thoughtless stuff or just, like, whatever a man is gonna use that doesn't take a lot of thought. Like, we're gonna give that to you.
TP
Like, a pack of socks and some undershirts.
Sid
Pack of socks. But, like, on Mother's Day, I feel like, no, no.
TP
Time out. I feel like dads get, like, whatever their wives feel like they need. Like, some deodorant might be in there. Like, hey, you've been smelling a little funky lately.
Sid
It's very, like, practical stuff.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
Practical stuff. So, yes, I do wonder what was the gift that was given to Melissa? And we will find out. That we will find out, but we will not share.
TP
No. Not until somebody else shares it first. And then we'll share it.
Sid
And then we'll verify.
TP
We'll confirm completely and then we'll bring it to you second. So on the topic of couples, we're going to switch over to hetero though the sports world. I mean, not really. It's like an arena. Okay, so it's technicality.
Sid
Okay.
TP
Okay. So I don't know if you saw there was a CEO of a company of a company at a Coldplay concert hugged up on his. He's recently hired, I think, HR person and they were like essentially like booed up, taking like a prom pic, but stationary at the Coldplay girl. What? Yes. The camera cuts to them in the crowd and then Coldplay. Let me, like this must be. I need to see an affair. No, it's serious. The heteros are like Coldplay Juicy right now. Oh.
Sid
Not trying to separate like that, babes. You're at an arena with tens of thousands of people. Why are you hug. Why are you booed up up there like nobody's gonna see?
TP
But also the panic and the separation. I'm like, y' all should just rock that out. Y' all just would have looked like a normal couple. I think it would have blown.
Sid
Yeah, you made it. You made it way, way worse. Exactly. Period. Money said. Yeah.
TP
I feel like it would have just blown over if y' all just would have. Like there would be to the bit.
Sid
100%. Because cheating in. Okay, cheating in public is one thing. Cheating in a suite at a Coldplay.
TP
Concert, when you're the face of something.
Sid
When you're the face of something is the stupidest shit I've ever seen in my life. Y' all deserve to be caught. You deserve each other. Because at no point did y' all think this through before getting to the venue that, yo, maybe we should we go in there together. Should we also, like, if you were.
TP
Doing like little cheats like this, like a little pinky touch, right? A full blown like cuddle, stand up cuddle.
Sid
He. He essentially pulled his pants down in the suite and sat down in his chair and she came and sat down on top of him. That's what, that's what happened. That's what I just saw in that video. I want to know what their respect is partners. I want to know what they felt in that moment when they saw this and if they're going to get a divorce because you know, some people. Cuz you. I can't stay with you if you did that.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
If a friend or something saw you at a restaurant, I, I'm still not staying actually. But the odds Would have been higher for me to stay if you didn't.
TP
What was the lie for him to get there with her?
Sid
I know.
TP
Like, why wasn't work stuff.
Sid
It's always work stuff.
TP
Working late tonight, babe.
Sid
Working late.
TP
Okay, so got some HR stuff we need to handle.
Sid
Maybe the friends were really. They're like them. To get them on camera, they're like, I love his wife. This is fucked up. When you're closer with the wife, they're closer with the wife. They like the wife more. They feel like he's a dick, but they didn't want to call him out to his face, which is a problem, actually. People need to call out their friends and bring back shame, embarrass people. Nobody should be cheating on their wife publicly or their spouse publicly. That you know. And you're not saying anything when you actually are friends with both of them, equally correct. Like, a lot of people are like, it's not my business. I'm not going.
TP
That's kinda.
Sid
That's crazy. I would want to know. And if my friends never told me that they saw something, you're not my friend. I don't care how you slice it. I know a lot of people. If you come to them with news of, like, your spouse is cheating, they.
TP
Might be that relationship is now broken.
Sid
Or they'll know. Or some people will be like, you're jealous or like, you don't know what you're talking about. They might deny it, but that's for them to do. Their reaction is their problem. For you to not say what you know to be true to me is wild. I don't care what the fuck people say.
TP
Let's bring it back a step further. Their friends, yeah. Coldplay acted like they're like, who's those strangers cuddling in that suite?
Sid
As if they didn't plan it.
TP
Right.
Sid
There wasn't strategy.
TP
Like, after this, they were like, hey, Andy, say hello. Okay, so another big moment in All Star Weekend. And I don't know how many people caught this because this was a nationwide broadcast. It was that on Good Morning America, a little innocent girl was expressing.
Sid
Her name was Ma Joy. It was such a pretty name.
TP
My Joy.
Sid
Ma Joy. Yeah.
TP
Sweet little Maijoy was saying to the panel how she plays for Rosa Parks.
Sid
Hopefully we can roll the clip.
TP
We're gonna roll the clip.
Sid
I play for Rosa Parks. Oh, oh, all right. That's right. Shout out.
TP
I love that.
Sid
Directly. Well, unless I've been misled about what I know about Rosa Parks or there's another Rosa Parks, because Tons of people could have them.
TP
That's fair. There's a lot of Jesus today.
Sid
There are a lot of Jesuses, but I don't think it's the one that we think.
TP
But if they are, they're not getting the credit.
Sid
They're not getting the credit. So, yeah, I'm like, directly. And Robin Roberts was like, pipe down. Said, I already told you before we started.
TP
Like, I love how Robin knows you enough to know that she has to be on guard with you. Like, this is on national television and Robin, Robin's playing.
Sid
Like, somebody said that was like her mama voice came out. She got out of TV mode and was like, did she like grab your shirt from you? She, like pinched me from afar. If it's a different Rosa Parks, my joy, that's my bad, girl. I just thought it was.
TP
Okay, so what would have been your follow up question? If she would have been like, yeah, I do play for Rosa Parks directly.
Sid
I said, well, girl, like, how is she doing? Like, is that like, what. What we know? Did that really go down like that? Or did she tell you something different or do you even know the history? Like, do you know what happened with her? That's what I would ask her. And kind of like traumatize her with the information.
TP
I mean, I just would want to know, like, what kind of offense does she run? Like, what's her spread like?
Sid
Yeah, yeah. Does she like to like, get up and man to man or does she like to be in the back in a zone?
TP
Right? Does she like, does she. Does she get up or does she stay stationary?
Sid
Is she a benchwarmer?
TP
I need to know. Is she on the bench? Does she stay on the bench?
Sid
She probably would have stayed on the bench. She probably coaches sitting down.
TP
Wow.
Sid
She probably goes just sitting down. I love that.
TP
Shout out to Rosa, man.
Sid
Shout out to Rosa.
TP
Sid, like, I was so excited for you. So Sid had the opportunity this weekend to do the Fever fan fest stand up. And it was a five minute segment. And I don't know if you've ever held your breath for five minutes or held a plank for five minutes. I feel like your segment went so fast. I was like, you were ripping through. So what was your mentality going in? Like?
Sid
I was just like, you know me, like, I'm going to do what's funny to me.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
And then like, if the audience is vibing with it, cool. If they're not, like, I'm going to get a laugh out of this. So I just got to.
TP
And what was your. Why did you for everyone that wasn't there, what was your topic of choice?
Sid
Okay, so I'll just give, like, my. Yeah, so people are. They did the intro. So people are clapping when I come out. Like, God, for the Indiana Fever, Sydney Colson. There's music playing out, going out and dancing. Like, hey, hey, hey, hey. I get out there, the applause are dying down, and I'm like, you know, I'm not one to brag, but my stalker's back. And it was very hit or miss. There was a large portion of the crowd.
TP
The touch and go. Touch and go.
Sid
Yeah, but I like that.
TP
No, it was good. And also, you have, like, a dark humor.
Sid
Excuse me, My bad.
TP
This is so many.
Sid
So inward. Dark humor again.
TP
I wasn't raised like this.
Sid
Apologize to your parents again.
TP
Mom and dad.
Sid
Call them.
TP
I'm better than this. Dubie and Scott, I really am better than this. Just hanging there with me. Because if we're going. We're all going down together like this. If I'm the ship, then y' all are a part of it. Like, you can't separate yourselves from me. I could technically be like, y' all are my parents anymore, but I'll forever, you know, be your kid. Yeah.
Sid
So damn, that's.
TP
We're all going down together. Sorry.
Sid
So embarrassing for them. I think I'm mad at him for just, like, aiming to be the best in his profession. I'm like, you're stalking a wood. NBA. Something tells me that in the Stalkers Anonymous group chat, they're roasting you. They're like, bro, you could have. You could have stalked Asia. You could have stalked Angel. You could have even stalked. What's the white girl in Indiana? Cambridge, R.H. that's the time. Thank you so much. Then I went to. I used to look to him as, like, encouragement because I was like, oh, like, I got a stalker. Like, I'm that girl. Like, I got motion, right? I gotta be somebody if you following me around and tracking what I'm doing. So, you know, if he would be sending me my outfits and, like, sending hard eyes and looking eyes, which is crazy to send looking eyes. I said, as a stalker, like, you're sick. Have you no shame? Like, hey, I see you. I like, I know you. We know because you said 20 posts a day. So he would send me stuff, and I'll be like, okay, I must be doing good. Like, if he's watching this. When he stopped sending it, I started stalking him. So I would. I would post my pictures and I'm like, well, I' Ma, send it to his ass. I'm like, did you not see this? Was this not cute to you? You don't like it when I dress more masculine?
TP
Were your feelings are hurt a little bit?
Sid
They were hurt a little bit because I'm like, look, you disappeared on me, but just communicate. Was it family stuff? Was it health stuff? Like, I'm a compassionate person. I would have listened, but you just got to tell me.
TP
Don't let that get to your head, because, like, he might have other things going on in his life.
Sid
He's talking other WNBA players.
TP
I don't know. I don't want you to get jealous right now, okay?
Sid
I don't want to get jealous either, but where the segment ended was I was like, you know, at the end of the day, his name's Joseph.
TP
Yeah, Joseph.
Sid
Joseph. You're probably watching this, and maybe you were at Fever Fest, too, but if you didn't hear the joke, here it is. I'm not even mad at you for disappearing on me and stalking me. I'm disappointed in you for not aiming to be the best in your field. You're stalking a WNBA benchwarmer. Shoot for the stars, my guy. I was like, why? You could have stalked Asia Angel. I was like, you could have stalked the white girl in Indiana. Caitlyn. This is what I. This is how I finished this.
TP
So you were offering while you were upset, right?
Sid
Which. Sorry. To other girls. Like, I hope he doesn't come for you, but anything for the bit. So I'm like. I'm like, I know they're making fun of you in this, like, stalkers anonymous group chat. Like, joseph, what the, man? You're stalking a WNBA benchwarmer. He's like, no, bro. Like, she's solid. You just got to give her more minutes. Like, when she gets more.
TP
She needs the opportunity.
Sid
She needs opportunity. Like, I don't know if you saw game four of the finals in 2024. She went in because two of their starters went out, Chelsea Gray and Kia Stokes. So her and Alicia. Alicia Clark stepped up in, like, a really big way for the team, and they ended up winning on the. On the New York home court. So it was a big deal. Plus, bro, she has a podcast coming out called Unsupervised. I don't know if you heard about it, but it's dropping on July 24th. And they're like, bro, you're so lame.
TP
He's, like, giving the full laundry list. He's giving the laundry. Still not enough.
Sid
It's not enough for them.
TP
For the top dogs.
Sid
It's not enough. It's not enough. So that was the whole, like, vibe of the set. And like I said, it was super hit or miss with some people. And. And the first time that I did stand up in Houston, it was at an open mic night, and the venue was pretty small, and I, like, I invited some of my family, some of my friends. I'm like, well, surely they'll give me some pity laughs, but even if they don't. So they showed up. So this. The crowd was, for me, for the most part, correct. And it was small and intimate. This was like an outdoor amphitheater.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
It was, like, scattered people. There weren't as many people in the front. There were people, like, in the back section, like, behind where you could walk through on, like, a concourse. So I'm, like. I'm hearing myself talk, and then I'm hearing an echo on the mic. So then I'm wondering, like, am I speaking too fast? Like, am I speaking too slow? Like, it's kind of like a mind.
TP
Also, you can hear yourself, so you can't think of your next thought because you're, like, hearing your previous thoughts.
Sid
Exactly. So it was just, like, a weird thing. And you can't hear people's laughs either. But, like, y' all were telling me you could hear.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
From out there. And I was like, whatever. If they're not laughing, no problem, because this shit is hilarious to me.
TP
Yeah. No, we were thoroughly enjoying it, like, but also, everybody was like, maybe you couldn't hear it. I think you. You should be able to see a few mouths moving. Your eyes were closed.
Sid
Yeah. It was fun, though. It was fun. And so now I'm glad I did it. So now I can, like, keep practicing. We got to do it together.
TP
We got to do it together.
Sid
We've talked about that numerous times. And I think now that I took the step to do it individually, we got to follow through. By end of year, we need to go somewhere and do.
TP
I'm going to practice by myself at home in front of a bunch of strangers that I hope to never see again. And then after that, I'll build the confidence to, you know, do it in front of an amphitheater, because that seems like the way to go. And then again, we should do a duo.
Sid
I'm down.
TP
All right. Shake on it.
Sid
All right.
TP
I love doing business with you, Sid.
Sid
So, tp, we just finished wrapping our first episode. How did it feel?
TP
I can't believe that people actually, like, trusted us with, like, first of all, this like, delicate setup.
Sid
Right. Like, fancy stuff. People pay money for this stuff that they let us use.
TP
And they also, like, just gave us, like, an unfiltered setting where we can just talk openly without supervision, which is so dangerous. It's very dangerous.
Sid
Like, on. On the show, they would, like. We had to reel it in a lot. We did poor things. They were constantly reeling us in. Reeling us in realness. And stop getting off track. Stop. But now we can talk in tangents, and it's okay.
TP
It is.
Sid
And actually, the babysitters will grow to love that. We hope.
TP
Yeah. But this is honestly, like, one of the coolest things I feel like will happen in my entire life. Sid. Also being able to, like, do this with you again.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
It's always a pleasure to work with you and spend time with you every day.
Sid
Yeah. For real.
TP
And, like, have these moments with you, because the way that you go about the world and, like, who you are as a person, it's. It shows. And you have a way to make direct impact on people. And I know we like to cut up and joke around, but we really want to spread joy and do good with this podcast. And. And one way that we know how to do that best is to make people laugh, but also, like, with our action and to be one that backs our words with intention.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
And with. With just realness. And to be able to go on this journey with you.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
And to go into yet another business.
Sid
Yeah.
TP
Playing with you just means the world.
Sid
Thank you to me. I love you, dog. I. I feel. I feel the absolute same way. And, I mean, we talk about this all the time. We've talked about this since before the inception of the show, but especially afterwards, that, like, we gravitated to one another because, you know, we're kindred spirits, I believe. And when I met you, I just felt like there was a light in you. There was a joy. Your attitude never changes depending on your situation. You treat people so kindly. Like, you're so funny. I was like, I know. I joke like, I'm gonna make money off of this girl, but at the same time, I am.
TP
At the same time, it's actually not a joke at all.
Sid
At the same time, it's not a joke. It's like. But I hope that. I know you were nervous before doing the show.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
I know. Way less nervous before doing this.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
But I hope that you now see, because I've always put videos out, and people have always been like, oh, you need to be acting. You need to be doing comedy. You need to do this. So, like, and my parents told me since I was younger, so, like, I always had that confidence in this other thing. But you're so good at it when I watch you.
TP
I appreciate that.
Sid
You're so good at it. I'm almost going to get emotional.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
You're making me cry, Sid, because I really hope. I know you've been out of the league, you know, worried about what could be next, but, like, God has placed a calling on your life. Like, this is going to go somewhere. Even apart from me. You're going to get stuff for yourself because you're so funny. You're so kind. Like, you will reap the benefits of this. And, like, I am also so happy to be on this journey with you. I love you. And with that said, if y' all have drama or mess that you want to send to us, that you want to send to us, we would love to help you with your problems. Okay? We give great advice. You saw the moment. We just had this. We are emotional creatures. Extreme empaths.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
We will pour our everything into what your problem is. And we'll tell you to leave. Andy.
TP
Yeah.
Sid
We would tell you that if she.
TP
Would have called in before and told us all the red flags that she was seeing, we would have, like. We could have seen this coming. We could have foreshadowed 100.
Sid
We should have so hit us. DM us at unsupervised. Sid. TP. And you can also just like, Kate Luiso, who we. Who we read her her stuff from her. Tick tock. If y' all want to send us, tag us in other tiktoks. Tag us on social media. Like, if there's stuff you want to want us to talk about. We are women and men of the people. Okay? That's an ongoing joke because people always think that we're both men.
TP
Yeah, we will hear about that. Tons. Trust me.
Sid
Just read the comments. Honestly, they'll be on why their voice is so deep. They sound like men. Get these men. But we're not. We love y'. All. We love you guys.
TP
See you next week.
Sid
Sam.
