Donald Trump
No, I think we're gonna have a lot of big wins. I don't know if it's going to be covered that way by the fake news, but the winds are going to be very substantial. You know, we're losing. We were losing Biden. Five billion a day. I've got that number way down and soon it's going to be very, very positive. We'll be making 5 billion a day.
Ben Ferguson
You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Good Tuesday morning. Welcome. It is Ben Ferguson with you and it's so nice to have you on the 47 Morning Update. And here are the three big stories that we're covering. First up, we are 100 days officially right now into the Trump administration and we now have some of the intel on just how secure the southern border has become because Donald Trump's promise to do exactly that, secure the southern border no matter what. Up next, we'll also talk about how the media lost their minds as they put up posters on the White House lawn showing the violent criminals that have been arrested since Trump has been in office. More on that in just a second. And finally, so what are the Democrats doing 100 days into the Trump administration? They're calling for impeachment of Donald Trump. Yes, official articles of impeachment, apparently from Congress. It's the 47 Morning Update and it starts right now.
Story number one, today is a very.
Important day in the administration of Donald Trump. The first hundred days is officially here. And the question that everyone asks is, well, was it worth it? Did we vote for the right man and is he doing what he promised he was going to do? Well, we're going to take a special look at the first hundred days of the president. We're going to start with his promise to secure the southern border. President Donald Trump delivered on his campaign promises to secure the US Border, achieving historic reductions in illegal crossings and apprehensions of dangerous criminals. His administration has implemented tough policies including designating violent gangs as foreign terrorist organizations and resuming border wall construction. To enhance national security and public safety. Through mass deportation operations and targeted enforcement. The administration has now arrested over 150,000 illegal immigrants, including gang members and criminals, while drastically reducing the number of unaccompanied minors also crossing the southern border. In fact, illegal border Encounters are down 95% in the first hundred days of Trump being in office. 99.99% is a very important number. It deals with catch and release. From the worst month of Joe Biden to where we are now, it is down 99.99%. President Trump has taken decisive action to eliminate sanctuary cities as well and cut federal benefits for illegal immigrants, redirecting resources instead to support American citizens. Putting us first. Trump's has also invoked the Alien Enemies act to dismantle migrant criminal networks and also to shut down immigration apps used to exploit the system with measures like the Lake and Riley act and executive orders to streamline border security. It is clear in the first hundred days that Donald Trump's policies have literally transformed the border into the most secure in modern American history. Now, you don't have to take my word for it. Since President Donald Trump took office, he and his administration have ushered in the most secure border in modern American history, and he didn't need legislation to do it. President Trump has made good on the promise he made on the campaign trail to usher in the unprecedented error of homeland security being a priority. Now, I said a moment ago, you don't have to take my word for it. Just take a listen to what the media has said in their reporting of just how quickly things have changed. Now, the president also made this promise when he was running for president, saying, saying, quote, we will close the border. We will stop the invasion of illegal aliens into our country. He said that in Aurora, Colorado, September 12th of 2024, when he was making his closing arguments to the American people of why they should vote for him. Well, let's talk about that promise that has been kept. Number one, illegal border encounters are now down 95%. Illegal immigrant gotaways, the top threat to public safety, are down 99%. And then the media is backing up what the President is saying. Fox News correspondent Bill Malusian put it this way, quote, if Fox were to send me down there right now, I would have trouble finding a single migrant. On camera CBS immigration reporter saying it this way, Typically when we go to the US Mexico border, we at least see one group of people who are trying to cross into the US Illegally. We did not see a single migrant this time. The Wall Street Journal saying it this way border crossings grind to a halt as Trump's tough policies take hold. Bloomberg said it this way. US bound migration plunges 99% along the Panama jungle route as people from all over the world clearly know that now is not a time to come to America. The Washington Times saying it this way under President Trump, border catch and Release has dropped 99.99% from worse Biden month. And the Los Angeles Times putting it this way, California Mexico border once overwhelmed, now nearly empty. Yes, the President United States of America paid off on this campaign promise to secure the border and he did it in his first hundred days.
Now story number two.
The White House on Monday morning made it very clear that they wanted to remind the American people of exactly who they are arresting in the first hundred days of the administration. And on Monday morning, images of the worst criminal illegal immigrants arrested since President Donald J. Trump took office were placed on the lawn of the White House for the world to see. Why? Because they wanted to highlight the Trump administration's unprecedented effort to secure our homeland and send these vicious criminals back to where they belong. The White House said we want you to meet the worst. The media of course lost their mind saying it was unfair to have the signs behind them of these criminals while they're trying time to do their live shots from the lawn of the White House. Well, the important thing is is that you meet the worst among us. Here is an example of some of those that were actually put out there on the lawn of the White House with the boards letting you know who this administration is going after and more importantly, who the Biden administration allowed to come into this country illegally and allowed to stay here. I'll give you an example. The arrest of a Jamaican national convicted of first degree murder. ICE Baltimore arrested a man, a 51 year old citizen of Jamaica. His criminal history includes convictions for murder, first degree and two counts of assault, second degree in Prince George county in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Let's move on to someone else. Another man arrested and convicted of rape. Ice Buffalo arrested a 49 year old citizen of Fosco. The criminal history included a conviction for rape in New York County, New York. Again, someone that should have never been in this country. Another arrest of a Mexican national convicted of murder and aggravated battery. This time it was a man that is 43 years old of Mexico. He has a criminal history including convictions for murder and aggravated battery in Santa Fe, New Mexico who should have never been in this country. Or you can move on to an Indian national convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child ICE Houston arrested the man, a citizen of India. His criminal history includes a conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child. In Harris County, Texas there's also the arrest of a Mexican national, a man who was convicted of predatory sexual assault of a child. Ichicago arrested the 45 year old citizen of Mexico with a criminal history that includes a conviction for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in Cook County, Illinois. Again, someone that should have never been the country that the Biden administration allowed to stay. We can move to the arrest of a Mexican national also convicted of sexual assault of a child. ICE Denver arrested a 36 year old citizen of Mexico with a criminal history that includes convictions of sexual assault, sex offense against a child, obstructing police and driving under the influence of alcohol. In Houston County, Texas there's also the arrest of Mexican national, a man convicted of sexual abuse of a minor. ICE Chicago arrested the 57 year old citizen of Mexico with a criminal history including a conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a minor in Illinois also the arrest of a Salvadorian national convicted of sex with a minor. ICE San Francisco arrested arrested the 40 year old citizen of El Salvador who has the criminal history of including a conviction for sex with a minor. In San Mateo County, California there's also the arrest of a Mexican national convicted of sexual abuse of a child. I San francisco Arresting that 45 year old citizen of Mexico. Gomez's criminal history includes a conviction for continuous sexual abuse of a child in San Bernardino County, California arrest also of a Dominican national convicted of murder. Ice Buffalo arrested the 34 year old, a 4 year old citizen of the Dominican Republic with a criminal history including a conviction for murder in New York County, New York. Also the arrest of a Salvadorian national convicted of sexual offense with a child. This time ICE Atlanta arrested the 32 year old citizen of El Salvador with a criminal history including a conviction for sexual offense with a child in Wake, North Carolina. And then there's the arrest of a Mexican national convicted conspiracy to distribute cocaine. ICE Houston arrested the 64 year old drug dealer, a citizen of Honduras with a criminal history including a conviction for murder in Los Angeles County, California. There's also the arrest of an Indian national convicted of lewd acts against a child under 14. ICE San Francisco arrested the 39 year old citizen of India. The criminal history of this man includes a conviction for lewd acts against a child under 14 in Sacramento, California. Then there's the arrest of a Mexican national convicted of sexual assault of a child. ICE Denver arrested the 36 year year old a citizen of Mexico. He is a registered sex offender with criminal history, which includes convictions for sexual assault of a child and interference with school and fail to leave in Lake County, Colorado, and a conviction for theft in Summit County, Colorado. The list goes on and on and on and on and on. Literally. It would probably take me another 45 minutes of stories just like these to tell you just of the pictures put at the White House. So what did the media have to say about this moment? Were they glad that these criminals were taken off the streets in the U.S. they were not. In fact, they were angry that the signs were in their live shot. Take a listen to this from msnbc.
Maria Teresa Kumar
Maria Teresa Kumar, before we let you go, we want to get your reaction, something that just occurred. The White House has put up about 100 posters of what they say are unauthorized immigrants who have been arrested for violent crimes. You can see them there. They put them up on the driveway of the White House. If you look here, that's the West Wing just at the forefront, the Executive Mansion itself to the left. But what's particularly noteworthy about this location is it is right directly behind the positions where TV correspondents do their hits from the White House lawn. So therefore, no matter what network you're on, that includes msnbc, if you're doing a hit from the White House right now, those pictures will be behind you. The White House doing a briefing in about a half hour about what they're doing here. Maria, your response to this, this image.
Journalist
So I have to say, one of the biggest challenges that we have with the deportations that, that we know of so far, for example, with Kilmer, Abrego, Garcia, we don't know if they've had due process. We don't know if, in fact, these individuals do have a rap sheet. So I would encourage those individuals that have that as a back shot to blur those people out. The job of journalism is to ensure that we are presenting the facts that we are cross referencing. We know that Polyfact actually checked the Trump administration because of an earlier picture that they released on Kilmer, recognizing that it was altered, that it was false, that they placed gang signs on, gang signs, tattoos on him that weren't real. And so I would really. The press right now, we are absolutely under attack. Our job is always to have our true norths to make sure that we're presenting balanced news and making sure that we are not putting folks that are potentially in danger and having that representation of those pictures in the background. We can't allow that to basically for us to carry the water of potentially innocent people. So I would encourage, I recognize live shots are tough, but I encourage folks to actually make sure that those shots are blurred to the best of your abilities.
Ben Ferguson
That's right. The media losing their minds, demanding that the mug shots of the people I just told you about are blurred out to protect them instead of the American people. So if you want to know if Donald Trump is breaking the media, you better believe it. All you have to do is listen that report. And just 100 days in, the most important part of the whole story is these killers and those that are going after your kids and selling drugs are being taken off the streets at record numbers.
And finally, story number three, as we.
Hit the 100 day mark of the Trump administration, there's a question that has to be asked. What are the Democrats doing 100 days into Trump's administration? Well, well, they're going back to their old playbook. The headline on the 100 days of Trump in office from the Democrats is this idea introducing impeachment articles against Donald Trump. What I'm about to play for you is an actual Democratic congressman. And no, this is not a Saturday Night Live skit.
Congressman Shri Tanadar
This is Congressman Shri Tanadar. Donald Trump has already done real damage to our democracy. But defying a unanimous 90 Supreme Court ruling, that has to be the final straw. It's time we impeach Donald J. Trump. The court said the wrongfully deported Kilmer Garcia must be allowed to return and receive due process. Trump ignored it. He ignored the Constitution. He ignored the very checks and balances that keep our democracy intact. This isn't an isolated incident. It's part of a dangerous, deliberate pattern. That's why today I introduced a resolution to impeach Donald J. Trump.
Ben Ferguson
So there it is. 100 days is all it took for the Democrats to introduce impeachment articles yet again against Donald Trump. Another example example of just how bad Trump derangement syndrome really is. And you better believe they're gonna keep doing this. They keep accusing Donald Trump of obstructing justice, abusing trade powers, tyranny, and they're going to try to impeach him another time. This is also why so many Americans are standing behind Donald Trump. Because they look at the left and they realize they bring nothing to the table but anarchy and chaos. And if you don't believe me on that, just look at the multiple judges that were arrested for trying to help illegal migrants escape arrest who are now behind bars.
