As always, welcome to the program. Great to have you with us today. We do have Anthony Fauci just arriving on Capitol Hill. It is, as I speak to you, 8:04am Eastern Time live. His testimony expected to begin around 8:30am Eastern Time this morning. Much of the beginning of this session will of course include a bunch of opening statements, including, and especially from Rand Paul and Anthony Fauci. Rand Paul is the chairman of the committee and he is the guy who just made public the contents of Anthony Fauci's what everyone's calling a diary. It's a diary. I've been calling it a diary too, because it sort of has a diary vibe. It's where he is admitting his deepest, darkest secrets. You know, the things that he doesn't say in public that he doesn't want you to know about, and it turns out that they had deep impacts on all of our lives, including that he knew that this thing never came, that is Covid never came from a wet market in China. And he knew that In January of 2020, he also knew that Covid was not killing people at the obscene rates that he was declaring in public. He admitted as much in his diary. In fact, this is to be more specific. These are government documents. He was storing all of this on his government computer, tapping out his thoughts each day, admissions of guilt on a government computer. And now it's been released to the world thanks to Rand Paul, who, you know, I've had my differences with Rand Paul. Rand Paul and I had a kind of a famous battle last year over the big beautiful bill. I really wanted border security. And he was a little too concerned about that legislation driving up the debt, which of course I'm concerned about. So he didn't want to support it. And I was browbeating him about that. But that's okay. It's okay to disagree with somebody and then it's okay to enthusiastically support them when they do the right thing, which is going after Anthony Fauci like a dog on a bone. Rand Paul has not given this up. And for that, we thank him. Thank you for once again now hauling Anthony Fauci in for questioning. Now, you should know that in this testimony today, Anthony Fauci, as much as he's been pardoned by the auto pen, which again should be tested, that wasn't an actual president. It was a robot that did that or some staffer operating the machine. Despite the fact that he got that pardon, he is not entitled to Protections for any crimes he commits after the date of the pardon, for sure. In fact, here is John Yoo over on the Fox News Channel yesterday, assessing Anthony Fauci's culpability and any crimes he may have committed after the pardon date and certainly that he might commit as he gives this testimony today. He's either lying then or is he lying to his diary. Who is it? And tell us now. And you're right, Brian. He can't claim that the pardon would cover any of his answers. Now, you can only be pardoned for lying to Congress from before the pardon. If he commits a lie before Congress now, he'll be committing a federal crime and could be prosecuted.

I mean, he's saying, you know, I didn't shut anybody down. I never shut any schools down. And then we find out in his diary. Spoke with Bill de Blasio, mayor of New York City, convinced him, based on what I was saying publicly in my conversation, to shut down New York City schools. Had a similar call with Ann o' Leary and governor Gavin Newsom of California. Between our conversations and our TV appearances, he shut down the school. So what are you saying? You had nothing to do with the shutdowns that, in retrospect, were totally unnecessary and kids were never in danger?

Look, he's obviously running from this. This is one of the greatest public policy disasters in the history of the American republic, where experts like him overreacted to the virus, shut down the economy at costs of hundreds of billions of dollars, interfered with the everyday lives of every single American, and infringed on all of our individual freedoms. And so now, of course, he's trying to pretend he had nothing to do with it. But as you say in the diary, he records pretty meticulously all these governors, mayors, Mayor de Blasio in New York, Governor Newsom in California, urging them to shut down bars, restaurants, schools. And now he's pretending he didn't do that. So if you're a senator, you were saying, were you telling the truth in public when you said you had nothing to do with it? Did you lie? Your diary? What did you actuallywhat was actually true in your mind? Tell us the truth now. And if you lie, you're committing perjury and could go to jail for it.

Yeah. And the justice Department should move very swiftly for any lie that he makes today. Now, I'll remind you that Anthony Fauci is a practiced liar. He's a slippery guy. If you've ever sat down and watched any of his congressional testimony through the years, you will Notice that he uses weasel language to describe everything. In fact, he would use weasel language to describe why he was authorizing gain of function research when it was supposed to be banned by the federal government. And yet he said, well, it wasn't. Gain of function research is a different thing. You just don't know what you're talking about. He would just. He would weasel his way through every answer. And he may very well do that today as well. He may very well do that today, but we'll see. And I know that at least Rand Paul and hopefully every other Republican senator and hopefully every prosecutor at the Justice Department whose job it is to handle these types of lies will be watching this like a hawk to bear down on Anthony Fauci, that megalomaniacal whack job who caused so much destruction in the United States of America. It's time. It's absolutely time. You know, remember, I. You know, I know that that was a crazy time, and I know that the wounds of that time are still fresh enough that people are rightly enraged at Anthony Fauci. But I do want to offer you one really cringy reminder of what the Fauci era was like as Anthony Fauci, this guy who had these, like, immense delusions of grandeur, who was obsessed with getting as much media coverage as he could, calling himself a rock star inside of his own diaries. Remember the cult of personality that the left built around obedience to the government and Anthony Fauci. Do you remember this? Cut to watch. Doctor Fauci. Oh, God, give us vaccines. Help all the people who have been quarantined. We'll wear our masks and we'll have to stay distant. We'll wash our hands and we'll be more resistant.

That was a nightmare. And that was just one example. They were all over the place. The media was forcing foushee and jabs and masks and isolation down your throat. Thanks, Fauci. Now, not everybody fell for it. To be clear, not everybody fell for it. In fact, many black Americans refused to fall for it. And this became a source of immense frustration for the Biden administration as they tried to ram jabs into every black person they could get their hands on. That includes in Washington, D.C. where Anthony Fauci and Muriel Bowser kind of infamously now roamed around with a PBS camera in tow, trying to convince black residents that they had to do what was good for them. And one Black resident of D.C. was like, Please not doing that. Up yours. Cut three. Watch this, hero.

People in America are not settled with the information that's been given to us right now. So I'm not going to be lining up taking a shot on a vaccination for something that wasn't clear in the first place. And then you all create a shot and miraculous time. It takes years to create vaccinations.

God bless America. He's like, something else is going on here. I don't even believe your numbers. And by the way, his instincts were totally right. You remember that distinction, that little prepositional wordplay that they were doing? Died with COVID Died of COVID Remember that? Yeah, that's Right. The government's numbers were jacked up from the very beginning. They were doing a died with COVID game where you could get hit by a bus. And then during the autopsy, they could go, well, wait a second. There was Covid in his body. So he died with COVID Wait, the bus killed him, not Covid? What are you crazy? Yeah, they're crazy. They're crazy about power. And that guy, he sniffed it out, rightfully so. And he said that to Fauci's face. I love Muriel Bowser and Anthony Fauci trying to duck out of that thing with PBS cameras there, like, okay, we gotta go. And he's like, you're trying to instill fear. He's getting a couple shots as they're walking away. I love that dude. Love him. I wonder what he's up to today. Great American hero. He should have had Foushee's job. So that was. That was a great moment. And also, he was right about the vaccines. And, you know, you had Anthony Fauci, like, just straight up lying. It's like. And Muriel Bowser, like, the only reason I'm standing here next to you is because I got the vaccine. It's very effective. You know, Fauci knew that the vaccines were not effective. He knew it, and he worked to suppress that information. Kanakoa, the great, who has been doing a wonderful job. A great job, one might say, going through the Foushee diary quotes this page from August 13th of 2022. He says Foushee says he stopped the CDC from publicly stating that Covid vaccines were not effective at all in preventing infection and transmission. He stopped them from telling you the truth. Quote more drama with regard to the CDC and Rochelle Walensky. We thought we had gotten them pulled back from making the statement that the vaccines were not effective at all in preventing infection and transmission. This would conflict with recommending the updated bivalent vaccine in September. In addition, would undermine the DOJ's efforts at mandates. Oh, I'd hate to get in the way of tyranny by telling people the truth about the quality of the jab. CDC agreed to pull back on the statement of absolute lack of efficacy in vaccines against infections and transmission and take a more measured approach of saying that the vaccines provide only modest and waning efficacy against infection and transmission. And that is why we should heed the advice of getting the updated booster in September. Quote however, although they did this on their website, the MMWR that came out yesterday had the same original damning language. When he says damning language he means the truth. The truth that the jab wasn't stopping transmission. It wasn't. The truth is what he was annoyed by. That's in the diary. Will he be questioned about this today? He damn well better be.

That PBS video, I have one more remainder from it. You know, that you saw in that email that I just played for you, or as you showed you where he's like, hey, this is really going to undermine our ability to tyrannize the public. He was very big on tyrannizing the public. I know that. He tried to dress this up in a smile and friendly language. And you do this for your family. I'm just giving you advice to protect yourself and stuff. But in front of that PBS camera, there was another candid moment. It's a lot less talked about, but it's, I would say, just as important as that nice gentleman confronting Muriel Bowser and Anthony Fauci to their faces. There was also this moment where Anthony Fauci said, republicans are the problem. It's Republicans all across the country.

Who said no? Oh, oh, oh, yeah. Fauci. Fauci's like, no, no, you have to do it now. It's like an airplane. You got to put your mask on first. And then you put their max going, oh, shut up, Fauci. You know the beginning of that clip, though, where he says, we need to break them. Notice, by the way, he realized he said break them in front of a camera, and then he changes the language. Do you hear that? That he kind of softened it up a little bit. Josh, can we replay that? Do you mind? Just play that clip one more time from the top, but just cut it off right after he softens the language. And they cut to the. To the next shot. Listen to this.

We have to unpack that. Let's. Let's gently unpack it, is what I meant to say. Let's gently destroy your life. That's Fauci. That's Fauci. He couldn't. He's so full of himself. In the end, he really can't fundamentally hide who he is. He's jotting it down in his diary on a government computer, and he's declaring it in front of PBS cameras. Brazen. Brazen. Back before Congress today. So we'll see what they get. We'll see what they get out of him. Again, he's been doing this for a million years. He's practiced at lying to the public. We'll see what this results in. But the thing I think this audience wants, if I can speak for you, if you don't mind, is handcuffs for Anthony Fauci. Consequences for Anthony Fauci. Consequences for everybody who upended and destroyed the lives of so many American citizens. That's what we want. You know, yesterday, this week, President Trump. I think I played this clip on the. On the radio show. I'm almost certain I did, because I'm pretty sure President Trump said it yesterday on Fox and Friends. He was lamenting the fact that he doesn't get the credit he feels he deserves for Operation Warp Speed. That they were able to get these jabs out very quickly. That's why they called it Operation Warp Speed. And the thing that the President did with Operation Warp Speed, the thing that we often ask the government to do, which it almost never does, is to get rid of stupid government programs that stand in the way of actual progress, development, and flourishing. The government is often standing in the way. So the President would still like credit for kicking down the barriers in drug development that led to the rapid release of all these Covid jabs. That's what he's looking for. Credit for. But the reason why Americans don't like that. They don't look back fondly on Operation Warp Speed. They don't seek to give President Trump credit for that. Chapter in our history is what came next. What came next was overwhelming government tyranny, using the jabs as a means to mandate a massive imposition on your life. People were being forced out of the military. Young, healthy people were being kicked out of the military. They had volunteered to serve our country perfectly. Good and patriotic Americans were being removed from military service because they weren't getting this stupid jab. Families lives were destroyed. People could only keep their jobs if they got the jab. It was insane. So I'm sorry, but the reason why Americans look back on this resentfully is because of the wave of destruction that ensued afterwards. The president shouldn't be confused why his base is not enthusiastic about Operation Warp Speed. The answer to that is we hate government tyranny. And a lot of it ensued in the wake of that pandemic. Anthony Fauci kept lying about that. Oh, we're not doing any of that. Of course, he was taking your money and funding it in Wuhan, China. So what's the deal with gain of function? Well, here's a story that has received candidly, almost no attention overnight. Very little now granted. It's in the Wall Street Journal too. The Wall Street Journal has an op ed up from Jay Bhattacharya. Now, Jay Bhattacharya is the director of the National Institutes of Health and he just put out a big op ed on the subject yesterday because HHS has officially announced their new policy for ending gain of function research funded by the United States government. Just a quick reminder, gain of function, that phrase gain of function, which really doesn't tell you what it is, is a euphemism. Means making viruses more transmissible and more deadly to humans. This is what Americans were paying for with no benefit to humanity. None. None. There's never been a measurable benefit from so called gain of function research where it's constantly sold as well. If we soup up the virus in a lab, then we'll know how to protect ourselves from deadly viruses if they ever emerge in nature. This has not resulted in anything but misery and death. Anything, every time. Invariably it's a lab leak or a release of some kind that results in people suffering. So how about no more of that crap? Jay Bhattacharya writes. In May 2025, President Trump signed an executive order directing the U.S. government to end dangerous gain of function research. In response, the National Institutes of Health and other agencies paused research projects with any possibility of falling under that description or any possibility of causing harm to human populations. The pause was the first part of a broader strategy. A government wide approach was needed to guarantee that no such risky research is ever again encouraged or supported by US Agencies. As a part of this goal, a new accountable and transparent process was necessary to oversee researchers, institutions and funding agencies. After planning and coordinating across every relevant government agency, the Trump administration is issuing a comprehensive oversight framework that will eliminate the risk that federally funded scientific experiments will cause a pandemic or other catastrophic harm. The new policy preserves the benefits of life science research while defining the areas of greatest risk, including prevention of accidental or intentional lab leaks, prevent accidental or intentional lab leaks, and penalties for irresponsible practices. He goes on to say the gain of function as shockingly, for many years been basically experiments that were sold as a way to reduce the risk of pandemics caused by novel pathogens. These leaders argued that with proper oversight, viruses could be manipulated, making them more transmissible or deadly to evaluate how likely they were to make the leap to humans. But because a lab accident could cause a pandemic, many scientists argued that no mitigation could outweigh the risks and such gain of function experiments were too dangerous to permit. So in response, in 2011, NIH leaders argued that the knowledge to be gained from such experiments was worth the risk. But in 2014, Obama paused gain of function. Obama actually paused it. He didn't end it outright, but he issued a moratorium on it. The pause was lifted in 2017 for agencies that implemented oversight of the research, which resulted in HHS releasing guidance about how to handle this stuff. In practice, though, this framework allowed research to proceed after review until President Trump's executive order stopped it last year. So now there's a new policy. It makes clear Americans will not fund research that risks our health or security, either here or abroad. There are three principles here. There are categories of research that are too risky to pursue, that the entirety of the biomedical research enterprise must assess and monitor risks and that researchers, institutions, and funders will be held accountable for evaluating and reporting on high risk research. At any rate, this is without. You can go and read the op ed yourself if you'd like to see the rest of it. But Jay Bhattacharya, going over the details here that the United States government under President Trump is officially declaring no more high risk life science research. That is over. Gain of function, all that garbage is over. It's over now. It should be banned by statute, too. The Congress should ban this entirely by statute because it's one thing to have a president say it, another president can come in reverse it. That can't happen anymore. You got to get rid of this all entirely because it's insane. You want. You want to kill humanity off? That's the way you do it. The government cooks up viruses in a lab to kill people. Yeah. How about no, I don't want a single dollar of my money going to that garbage. We've seen the effects of that. No moss, no mas. Yeah, so that's the update on that subject, too. So that's so good development there. We'll have again the the aftermath of the Anthony Fauci hearing for you tomorrow on the on the program. So we found out that we had thousands of non citizens on the voter rolls in New Jersey. Democrats are admitting this. They actually came out and they said, hey, we just found something. Everybody needs to know about it. And you probably scratched your head when you heard this because you thought, wait a second, why are you giving up the game? I thought you were content with this kind of fraud. What's going on here? And the answer to that question is interesting and it's one that we continue to ruminate over. It does strike me that the walls are closing in on these Democrats and their rigged voting schemes. And some of this may be attempting to mitigate the damage that's incoming to frame your understanding of the story and to pretend like there are actual good faith efforts to clean up the voting rolls in these states. And the most obvious people to expose to public scrutiny here would be, oh, well, they are non citizens. Who said they were non citizens when they were at the DMV getting their license? They said they were non citizens, yet they were registered to vote anyway. It was an accident. It was a software problem. It was the software company's fault. Now, the software company, by now, you know, has come out and said, that's not true, it's not our fault, it's your fault. Democrats who run the state of New Jersey registered these people to vote has nothing to do with the software company. All they do is ingest the data. The decision to actively register these people as voters. Democrats did that, Democrats did that. And so as a result of this harmey Dhillon, the great Harmey Dhillon over at the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice. She reached out to the state of New Jersey and she sent a letter to the governor. She said, hey, turn over all the data you're referencing. I want names. I want information on all these non citizens who are registered to vote. We have to take a close look at this so we can enforce election laws and protect America's elections for, you guessed it, Americans. That's what Harmony Dillon wants now. That's what I want, too, and I'm glad Harmony Dillon's in that job. But is New Jersey going to send that information? No, they're not. Here is Mikey Sherrill in the last 24 hours saying, we're not giving up this information. These are our citizens. Hold on a second. They're not citizens at all. Listen to the New Jersey Democrat corrupt governor. Listen to this. The Trump administration is seeking, I believe by today, the list of, of non, non citizens who are registered to vote and the approximately 400 that did vote. To what extent will your administration comply with the Trump administration's request in that regard? As I have said, I am not in the habit of turning over private identifying administration information of the citizens of New Jersey. This federal government is weaponizing the government against individuals that disagree with them. They weaponized my private data against me in my election. And so I am working to protect people and their private data here in New Jersey. All right, thank you very much. Hear what she said there. She referred to the non citizens as citizens. And by the way, there's some people in our chat going, how can an illegal alien get a driver's license? Let's be careful about the language specifically because the reference here is to non citizens. Some of these people may be in the country under legal means. And then if you're going to drive in the country, you need to be licensed to drive. So if you're here as a legal citizen, you can obtain a driver's license so you can drive on America's roadways. It's possible that non citizens does mean in some many, all legal immigrants to the United States. Now the reality is we just don't know the answer to that question right now. We don't know the answer because they refuse to hand over the fricking data. But none of them are citizens. The governor of the state just said, I refuse to hand over the data of our citizens. She didn't ask for American citizen data, not in that letter, although she is asking for the voting rolls. She wants to make sure that the voting rolls are clean. Which if you're a citizen of the United States, you should expect your federal government to help make sure that that's the case. In fact, that's federal law. But she's talking about already got to protect citizens. These are not citizens.

So what started as her pretending like she was going to be transparent about a scandal that was plaguing the state of New Jersey and its election system now involves her being very public about being involved in the COVID up. She's not giving anything back. And in fact, she posted on social media a short time after that statement. She said, today I informed Army Dylan, the assistant Attorney General, that New Jersey will not provide the personal information of thousands of New Jersey residents. Now she's saying residents, not citizens. The request had no legal basis. And I will always protect New Jerseyans that are not New Jerseyans. Personally identifiable information to which Harmey Dhillon has responded. We will get them anyway. Governor Sherrill's refusal to cooperate with federal law enforcement does nothing to protect law abiding New Jersey voters. New Jersey has a legal duty to keep ineligible voters off its rolls and our request is grounded in that legal authority. DOJ will get this information through all legal means. Army Dhillon on the case. Something stinks in New Jersey. Something truly stinks in New Jersey. And in fact, I've got another update that just hit my desk this morning right as I'm starting the program today. Oh, we have a piece from Fox News on New Jersey that says it's headlined Tip of the Iceberg. New Jersey Illegal Voting Scandal explodes with More key systems at risk. And this is just. This is again brand new information. As I was just about to go live with you, I was like, whoa, wait a second. This seems relevant for this audience too. The top Republican on New Jersey's Judiciary Committee says she repeatedly warned state officials that automatic voter registration lacked adequate safeguards, but was routinely dismissed as thousands more noncitizens have now been found on sensitive systems. Senator Kristen Corrado of Tatawa. Is that how you say it? New Jersey to Tawa told Fox News Digital that Governor Mikey Sherrill's motor voter controversy reinforced Republican demands for a bipartisan investigation with subpoena power warning the administration's review was too Narrowly focused and likely failed to capture the full scope of the problem. Quote, we didn't just reach out to the motor vehicle commissioner. We reached out to the secretary of state at the time, Lieutenant governor Tahitia way. We were not satisfied with the answers that we got from the motor vehicle commission, which I can tell you were. Basically, we have signs up. They put on notice that if you're not a citizen, you can't register to vote. So people were on the honor system. We did not think that was acceptable or satisfactory or enough of a safeguard. She said adding a common refrain was an honor system. They have a freaking honor system in New Jersey. Scouts honor. I'm not allowed to register to vote. And then they just register people anyway on the honor system. Corrado and others, including senate minority leader Anthony Bucco, are now demanding a bipartisan special investigation with subpoena power. So it goes on here. Shortly after corrado spoke to Fox news digital, reports surfaced that roughly 75,000 non citizens have been summoned for jury duty through state databases, according to multiple reports, broadening the controversy between the motor vehicle commission and prompting additional Republican calls for a wider investigation. Guys, 75,000 non citizens are being summoned for jury duty in New Jersey. Non citizens, this is not a jury of your peers. This is not a jury of your fellow citizens. These are random immigrants, legal, illegal, whatever. 75,000 people being hauled in for jury duty. What the hell is going on in New Jersey? So as we've got, if you're in New Jersey and you should be freaking outraged about this and you should be banging down governor Mikey Sherrill's door to get answers, why the hell are non citizens influencing the affairs of the Garden State? Why are they voting in our elections? And Mikey Sherrill is acting like you notice the language here is always the same crap with these Democrats. It's dressed up in the language of, oh, I'm fighting for you. I'm protecting New Jerseyans. To hell with that. You're not protecting New Jerseyans. You're telling us you're protecting New Jerseyans while stabbing them directly in the front. You're attacking New Jersey, the governor of the state, part of a long running sequence of democrat governors attacking the people of New Jersey. The constitution's above my pay grade, said Phil Murphy as he instituted lockdowns and destroyed the lives of New Jerseyans. And now Mikey Sherrill is allowing non citizens to vote and be in jury duty to destroy the integrity of New Jersey sovereignty. No more. No more New Jersey. And should demand better the federal government. Should be demanding better. American citizens should be demanding better. I'm glad Harmeet Dylan's breathing down your freaking neck. You deserve it. Go Harmeet, go tackle these idiots. Army is saying we're going to get them anyway at the national level. You of course know in order to prevent this kind of thing from happening, we need the Save America Act. Ladies and gentlemen, let us gavel in. We need the Save America Act. You know the Save America act would force Americans to prove that they are Americans when they register to vote. Be compulsory. If you want to register to vote, you have to prove you're an American citizen. You need to bring all of your paperwork for everything else. How about registering the vote? Heck, when you get an ID, you're supposed to bring paperwork to prove you are who you say you are so you can get your state issued id. The least you can do is prove you are who you say you are when you register to freaking vote. And then when you do vote, show your ID when you cast your ballot. It's not a big imposition. In fact, it's the kind of the security thing that I would expect in order to protect the integrity of my vote. That's what the Save America act does. And importantly, almost never brought up in these conversations about the Save America act, except for definitely on this show is that the Save America act would remove non citizens by statute from the voter rolls. It would clean the voter rolls of non citizens. There would be no New Jersey problem. You wouldn't have tens of thousands of non citizens on the voter rolls. There would be no ability for them to cast ballots because they wouldn't be on the voter rolls in the first place. That's what the Save America act would do. So what is the Senate doing to actually get it passed? Let me give you an update on that. We now have 12 Republicans. Some people say 11, others say 12, but let's look at the list. We now have 12 Republicans who say they're in favor of either delaying or canceling the August recess to pass the Save America Act. And let me show you, here's a list of, here's a list of the 12. This comes to us from Nicole Silverio from the Daily caller. She says 11. This was 11 as of yesterday afternoon. Eric Schmidt added himself to this list. Thank goodness, later in the day. But here's, here's the list. Mike Lee, this is not some of this. You'll know because we've talked about it. Mike Lee, Bill Haggerty, Rick Scott, Jim Banks, Katie Britt, Tommy Tuberville, Darlene Graham, which I think is great. I'm glad Darlene is doing this in her audition to become the next senator from South Carolina. This is the right thing to do. Ashley Moody, Todd Young John Kennedy dog ear the John Kennedy thing for a second. We'll get back to that. Marsha Blackburn and Eric Schmidt. Eric Schmidt is now on the list as well, says Nicole later in the afternoon. And it's true, Eric Schmidt did post yesterday that he's in. Here's what he had to say on that subject. Eric Schmidt said the Save America act is one of the most important pieces of legislation the Senate has debated in years. I drafted President Trump's completed five pillar version. We must pass it. If that means staying here through August, I am all for it. So Eric Schmidt is for giving up the, the Senate vacation that they definitely have not earned, which is good. I'm glad to see Eric Schmidt there. I like Eric Schmidt, happy to see him on the list of patriots. Now, John Kennedy. The reason I dog eared the John Kennedy thing is because John Kennedy hasn't explicitly said that he would object to recess, that he would object to unanimous consent. John Kennedy has not explicitly said that they should cancel the recess, but he did say over the weekend it's true in Fox News appearance that he thinks that John Thune, he likes John Thune, but he thinks he's getting this one wrong. Maybe we should stay here for a few extra days. So for that reason, John Kennedy appears on the list as a guy who suggests that they should at least eat into vacation to get the Save America act passed. So I think he's legitimately, legitimately on the list for that reason insofar as we're tracking people who are readied up and the vacation for the Senate. So, so there you go. So you got 12 of these guys so far. We've got 53 Republican senators. There's no reason it should just be 12. There should be a lot more on this list, but so far we have 12. I told you I'd keep track of them. We're keeping track of them. We're watching them like a hawk. We're watching them like a hawk. You know who's complaining about this is John Cornyn. John Cornyn's very upset that his vacation may be upended by the Save America Act. Election integrity. Who cares about that? I already got fired. I don't care about that. Here's John Cornyn whining. All we're asking for you to do is wage a mighty fight for the basics. You know, if John Thune really wanted this thing to pass, or any element of it to pass, he'd be presenting a new piece of legislation every day with the individual components of the Save America Act. And he goes, okay, let's try this one now. Let's try this one now. He would be trying everything. Have you noticed? He's not. They haven't even put forward a bill for just voter id. Now, that, of course, is not enough voter id, but let's just pretend that they did put a bill forward like that. Just put the legislation forward. Now, my guess is if I had John Thune sitting here and I said that, he'd be like, oh, no, no, Vince, we did ask for that and the Democrats stopped it. No, you asked for unanimous consent and the Democrats stopped it. You didn't put a single piece of legislation, a single issue bill down in front of the Senate and say, hey, let's vote on this thing. Let's go. Let's do it. Go ahead. Let the Democrats try and stop it. Let them convince the American people in public that they hate photo ID as the American people support it wildly. That's a 9010 issue. If you really cared about this issue, you'd be fighting like hell to achieve every piece of it. I'm not seeing any evidence for that. None at all. It's like, you know, you've ever had anybody, if you ever had an employee or somebody in a subordinate position to you as a part of an organization, whether it's in a job or a civic organization, you have somebody, or a child for that matter, just somebody who you expect to do something and you ask them to do it. And then you hear nothing about it. You hear nothing for months on end. No updates whatsoever. What are you to assume about what's going on? You have to assume, if you're leading an organization, that nothing's happening, that nothing's getting done. You've received no reports whatsoever. They never got back to you. Hey, there's some challenges here. Here's who we're working. Here are the points of resistance. Here's why it's taking so long. They've given you nothing. So what do you assume? Nothing's happening. And as the leaders of our country, that is the American people, as the people who truly make the decision about who represents us in Congress, if you're not getting status updates from John Thune, you can safely assume, just like in every other human interaction, he's doing nothing. He's not giving you real updates insofar as he updates you at all. It's just like, well, yeah, ain't gonna work. I mean, it ain't gonna work. What have you done to actually achieve this? What have you done? Now, John Cornyn, who I just mentioned, who's whining about his vacation being upended, he's a problem for a number of reasons. He's also apparently standing in the way of Todd Blanche becoming the full time Attorney General right now. And this apparently has something to do with, like, the IRS settlement. Remember, the IRS stole and disseminated President Trump's tax documents. And so Trump sued them. President Trump sued them, rightfully so. And ever since then, establishment Washington's been pissed off that President Trump sued them. So John Cornyn and Thumbelina have been trying to get the President of the United States and the Justice Department to swear off making the president or the American people whole for that crime. Which is crazy to me.

Cornyn says there's no deal on Blanche Attorney General nomination. They know what they have to do. John Cornyn of Texas said Tuesday there's still not a deal with the Trump administration that would pave the way for him to vote for Todd Blanche's nomination to serve as Attorney General, which could result in Blanche getting stuck in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Quote, fake news alert. There's no deal on Blanche nomination. They know what they have to do. Cornyn said on social media. The Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on Blanche's nomination Thursday. That's tomorrow. Cornyn a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, and Thom Tillis, a fellow Republican on the panel, have pushed the Department of Justice to renegotiate a settlement with President Trump to make it explicitly clear that the federal government will not establish a $1.8 billion anti weaponization fund to compensate people who say they were unfairly prosecuted during the Biden administration. Promise you won't help Americans is what they're demanding is jackasses. Blanche, the acting attorney general, has repeatedly told senators that the proposed legal compensation fund, which was included as a part of a settlement with Trump to settle Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, is dead and won't be coming back. So Blanche already said it's dead, but his word ain't good enough, apparently. Cornyn has pointed out that Blanche has acknowledged the proposed fund remains on paper as a part of the settlement with Trump. Cornyn and Tellis are calling on Trump and the Department of Justice to change the terms of the settlement so that the $1.8 billion fund cannot be resurrected at some time in the future. £ freaking Sam.

And that can only be the one and only Lindsey Graham. By the strength of his steadfast convictions, the force of his magnetic personality, and the goodness of his noble soul. Lindsay Rhodes, from a small town in rural South Carolina, a place he loves so much, to become a constant fixture of American politics at the highest level and a force to be reckoned with all over the world. For more than 30 years, nothing of consequence happened in this Capitol without Lindsey Graham knowing about it. Nothing of significance. Significance happened anywhere in the world without Lindsey Graham having a view on it. And no bill became law in the most exceptional republic in human history without Lindsey Graham having a say in it. He was a man who gave America the full measure of his good and mighty heart until that heart itself just gave out. But even though Lindsey's life was cut short, while he was still so full of vim and vigor, there can be no doubt that he lived absolutely to the fullest. He died doing the work he was born to do. He was truly a great politician, serving the country he loved to serve so deeply. He went out at the peak of his career at the top of his game as a legend that every one of us, many of us here today, blessed to know him. And a friend that none of us will ever forget. There was truly nobody like Lindsey Graham.

He's kind of a nice way of saying he was very meddlesome. The guy was a meddlesome figure. He also said that Lindsey Graham was a war hawk, which is a funny thing to say in a eulogy. President Trump. I was laughing candidly. I was laughing at the way President Trump was describing Lindsey Graham a bit yesterday during this eulogy. He said, he's hawkish. He's very hawkish. Only his true friends would understand that. But he wanted it for the good of our country. He felt in his bones that our destiny is to win and that his job was to do everything he could to ensure our enemies would lose.

And then President Trump gave out his cell phone number. He told that story yesterday. And then he gave out the same number again. Watch this.

As you remember, Lindsey and I did not exactly get off to the best of starts running against each other. Back in 2016, Lindsey said something rather nasty on his flight to becoming the next President of the United States. So naturally, I did something that I shouldn't have done. I shared his personal cell phone number with the millions of people that happened to be watching that particular day. As I made a speech, a very important speech, and I remember the number 202-228-0292. If anybody wants to give it a shot, his phone exploded. He said, I had that number for 20 years. His phone totally. I don't Know what he did with it? But it exploded. That was the beginning of a friendship in a way. But it was Lindsey who had the last laugh because while I blew up his phone, all for one day. And we became great friends and Lindsey did not stop calling me for the next 10 years. It was not easy. I always cherish the memories of our golf games and only because of his really. And I will say this memorial service, it's so hard to say a memorial service for Lindsey. It's hard to say. But I'll admit that one time Lindsey Graham and Annika Sorensen actually beat me and Gary Player together. Can you believe that? Annika played very well that day, actually.
