all right,
Vince
ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here with Us. I know usually what happens is we try and we have the guests later on in the program, but because of the time constraints of my next guest, we said, why don't we just do it right at the top? We'll do it live, as somebody once said. Joining us now from the center for Medicare and Medicaid services is Dr. Mehmet Oz, who has so graciously volunteered his services to the federal government. Thank you, sir. Good to have you with us today.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Thank you for having me, Vince. I appreciate it. Lots to talk about.
Vince
Lots to talk about. Let me, let me start with fraud with you. We just saw Nick Shirley head off to California. He filmed it's knocking on these doors for a variety of places that are nominally businesses like hospice care centers and things. And what I realized about that great video that he put together is he's putting together something that you've been very much on. You know, you've been sharing all this information about fraud going on in particular in California. And it's to the consternation of the governor of this state. He accused you of being a racist for focusing on all of this. What is going on with fraud in a place like California?
Dr. Mehmet Oz
There's been a normalization of actions that really are a betrayal of the social safety net of the country. I love Medicaid. I love Medicare. We get to defend it every single day here. And if you really care about these programs and you care about affordability of health care, you do not let $100 billion get stolen a year. Unfortunately, there's been over the last several years a belief that it's all about getting more people on Medicaid and Medicare. And yes, if you're appropriately eligible, you should get on these programs. But at the same time, you have got to have some type of program integrity to check to make sure that the right people are on the programs. And drifters and grifters aren't just stealing money right and left during COVID because the rules relaxed a lot of criminal elements, and some of these are organized criminal elements, which is why the governors, you know, cannot keep up with what's happening right now. They've taken advantage of the system. They've weaponized the weakness of the rules, the guardrails around these programs. And I'm just going to give you a couple numbers, Vince, because I can talk till I'm blue in the face. And these governors, like Governor Newsom are going to claim it's not real. You know, it's just done as a reason to cut services. The reality is Based in the numbers. I'm a surgeon, I look at numbers all the time. If we can deal with the fraud that we're experiencing, and if you're worried about Medicare being around for you, pay attention. We would double the life expectancy of the Medicare trust fund. Double it. You know, putting that kind of money into the system would fix a lot of the problems we're all struggling with. But here's the raw data on the ground. I'll start with California, but I'll give you a couple other states as well. One third of all the hospices in the country. Remember, hospices are for people who are dying. Predictably you will die within six months, usually have metastatic cancer. One third of all the hospices in the country are in Los Angeles. Not even California. Los Angeles, I mean, how much are people dying in la? The numbers don't. There's no way that's possible. It's six to seven times more than you would expect. In addition, we see home health care rocketing in California. Nick covered some of the daycare issues in California. And there, if you go and visit and I have you talk to law enforcement, they're so happy that we're paying attention to their plight. They're having difficulty keeping up with these problems. And what you see in the ecosystem, Vince, is as one part begins to rotate the rest of the world around, it begins to go down the tubes as well. On Friday in Los Angeles, I visited what's called a six pack. A six pack is a home, a small home in a residential community that's got six rooms in it or a place for six people to stay. They take these seniors basically hostage, they traffic their Medicare number, they pretend they need services like hospice, they sign them up. These seniors are not dying. They don't know what's going on. They sort of held their fed bad food, moldy food in fact. And over time these houses will generate about 30, $40,000 a month of revenue. These fraudsters buy up these homes again. And you know, this was in Carson by the way, just, you know, suburb of la. And they could make a fortune. And no one's paying attention cuz they're unlicensed. Law enforcement is begging us to let them go out to these guys, this agency. And President Trump has made this a priority. He put Vice President Vance in charge of the task force. We're gonna make sure we give the data, the raw numbers over all the money's being spent so law enforcement can go out to these guys. In the meantime, Vince, so help me, guy, we Are not gonna pay these bills anymore. The money will not leave this building unless we feel it's a legitimate use of funds.
Vince
How was it happening before was the federal government was just cutting massive checks to the states, and then it was their job to administer the program. And that included lots of money being stolen in Medicaid.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
That's how it works. The state runs the program. We pay the bills. Not all of it. We pay, let's say, 60 to 70% of the money. And the thought was the state will care about its one third of the money. But it became a jobs program. It became political patronage. Look what's happening in New York. The most common job, Vince, in the entire state of New York is a personal care service. Someone carrying your groceries up the stairs, Someone helping you balance your checking account. You know, it's like soft stuff like that. Things your family would do for you normally. Instead, in New York, you just hire somebody. In fact, your child gets hired by your neighbor, you hire your neighbor's child, and everyone's employed. It's a jobs program that has caused New York state to have the highest cost per resident of the state in Medicaid. In fact, it's 80% higher than the national average. We see things happening, like social adult daycare, where seniors go to a place they think it's just a place to hang out if you're frail and you might have to go to a nursing home. Instead you go to this place. Well, it's been weaponized. You have these insular communities. I was in Flushing, Queens. Primarily Chinese community. You can't talk about it. No one can. Will ever break ranks with their tribe, and they are running these massive fraud efforts. There was a $68 million settlement. We just got on that same city block. There were three of these centers. There was a police precinct, and nobody was doing anything about it because the state has not gone after these problems. Again, it normalizes fraud.
Vince
So as you find these fraudulent operations that are stealing money from us, what do you do with that information?
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Well, we've now taken steps in several states, as everyone, I think, probably realizes. We started in Minnesota. In Minnesota, there was a massive problem with autism fraud. The program was supposed to be a 2,3 million dollar program. It capped out at $400 million. People were paying moms to lie that their children had autism to manufacture more reasons to have untrained individuals provide nonexistent services. I mean, listen, if you're paying $1,000 an hour to watch a kid watch Smurfs, you know, that's Illegitimate use of funding. And that's what was happening. And so not only did we go after them to ask them to change their programs, but we have deferred payments to them because of past transgressions that they've been involved in. And we're working through these issues. We want the state to prove to us that not only are the bills adding up correctly, but are they legitimate bills in the first place? We're talking to California again. We've sent a note asking them to reveal to us what's been going on. Why do they think there's so much fraud? What are they going to do about it? They need to provide us a corrective action plan. Same thing in Maine, same thing in New York. And we went to Florida this week because this also involves red states. And you know, Florida's a well run state, but they have watched durable medical equipment suppliers in South Florida take advantage of the system. And there are two times more durable medical equipment suppliers in south Florida than McDonald's.
Vince
Well, there's a lot of retirees in Florida and a lot of Medicare numbers and a lot of fraudsters who are looking to exploit that.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Exactly. And the good news is, if the state wants to go after it, they'll start taking measures now. So we have a national moratorium now on no more new durable medical equipment suppliers. These people ship wheelchairs and canes. The state's going after it now. Our goal is to get to all the states, give them a list of things that we believe make sense for them to pursue, have them pick the ones that make the most sense. But they can no longer sit back and watch the money go out the door. It is unfair to the American people. It's unfair to taxpayers. And Vince, here's the biggest news of all. If these jerks will steal your money, they will steal your health, they will steal your life. We've witnessed it happen in California and other states as well. We cannot stand back and watch people take advantage of our most vulnerable citizens.
Vince
So are you making criminal referrals as you handle all of this? You're sending this off to the Justice Department for prosecution, setting it up to
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Department of Justice, to the FBI, to the Office of Inspector General. These are wonderful groups. And I've sat with them in the Southern District of Manhattan, where Giuliani came from. I've sat with them at the U.S. attorney's office, Billy Issane in Los Angeles. You know, I've met with these folks in quite in a bunch of places. Their biggest complaint is the guardrails are Unclear. We were not giving them referrals or dealing with their referrals. They also send us evidence and they'll say, guys, this fellow has, you know, hundreds and hundreds of people claim that he's taken advantage of them, and yet we're, you know, still paying the bills. So again, our job is when, when oig, Office of Inspector General calls us and say, we suspect fraud, stop their payments, we stop it immediately. I don't want to have people paid money. Because what ends up happening, Vince, is they get the cash, they ship it overseas, and then when criminal indictments are passed down, they flee the country. The biggest settlement we had last year was about a 12, $13 billion case. All the fraudsters, they were off in Russia already. They fled the country. The Cubans in South Florida, the durable medical equipment suppliers are often Cubans. They flee back to Cuba. That's why one of the prominent mayors down there said he thought the Cuban government was involved. And I think that's actually the case. We've got, again, secular communities in New York and Philadelphia, Maine. You know about the Somalians in Minnesota. These folks don't share our values in their country of origin. They actually steal for that's normal, right? You steal from government because there is no law and order there. And then they come here and figure, well, if we're not going to police our $1.8 trillion Medicare Medicaid Service, we'll steal from them, too. That's why we cannot allow this to become the norm in our country. We will Medicare back.
Vince
We've seen a lot of these people prosecuted and convicted, and especially in that Somali community in Minnesota. So that's been the good news in terms of justice. But what about the government officials who make this happen? So obviously, as you just pointed out, the center for Medicare and Medicaid Services sends huge tranches of money to these states who are doling it out in this insane way. In many cases that are given away to corrupt people. What about government officials? Have you detected any behavior that said, you know what? This is worthy of a criminal referral based on the way they're handing this money out?
Dr. Mehmet Oz
You know, I'm smiling because that's, of course, the first question all of us have is the. These guys, you know, it's gross malpractice, what they were doing, managing these programs, but they don't actually sign the documents. And so they have plausible deniability. Hey, I'm just a governor. I didn't know what was happening. It got out of control. I was over paying attention to the school system. I didn't realize that all the money was being stolen from the school system by these fraudsters and Medicaid.
Vince
Right.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
And so they actually have been skirting this. We're asking states to start to add a signature line in contracts and deals that are being permitted, at least some type of acknowledgement that governance matters. And we know in Minnesota, whistleblowers have told us that they were chased out of the building when they started bringing up problems in the Department of Health, that they were not allowed to do their jobs. They were marginalized. You know, you don't fire these people. You just put them in a job they don't want to do anymore. You make sure no one ever hears from them again and their co workers learn. And so we know that for a fact. I've spoken to these whistleblowers in several states. Yet the people in charge of these programs, because they're not, you know, registered as the official decision maker with, you know, on these contracts, you know, it's hard to go after them. We want to change.
Vince
Okay, I'm going to talk to you about most favored nation status for drug pricing. Help people understand what this is. What does that mean, most favored nation? And how does it affect drug prices in the United States?
Dr. Mehmet Oz
President Trump has been frustrated by a reality that I want everyone to register. This is pretty clearly the wrong thing to happen for the American people. If you go to a drugstore and try to buy a drug one in three times, you will turn away because you can't afford it. You should be asking yourself, well, how do people in other countries afford their drugs? The reason they go to the drugstore in other countries more successfully is American drug sellers charge three times more for the exact same drug made in the same factory as they pay in Europe, Japan and other countries. And so President Trump has appropriately said, this has to stop. No mas, no more. And so he charged me, Secretary Kennedy and others to hire top tier talent, people like Chris Clump, John Brooks, Inma Hernandez. And I bring that up because what makes our government special is the President is a magnet. He brings in top tier individuals who want to come in, serve for a period of time and go back to the private sector. These are world class experts and they went head to head with these pharmaceutical companies and they negotiated contracts no one thought were possible. And here's the deal. From now on, we will not spend three times more for the exact same drug, even if it's made in the same facility. We're going to pay the same as the average of Other countries in the developed world are paying. We got these deals done. All the major companies have signed up. And so now we've, we've did these great ceremonies in the Oval Office. And now the President has asked us to do two things. Put all these drugs with their better prices on TrumpRx.gov the website. TrumpRx.gov is the place you should go to check just before you buy your medications just to see if we've gotten better price on behalf of the government than you might have gotten in your own, you know, on your own. And pharmacies now, like cvs, they'll actually ask you to, you know, type in at the counter to make sure that you might not get a better price if you buy it@TrumpRx.gov so that's all worked beautifully. And now the President asked Congress to codify this because we did these deals through the end of the, of his term because, you know, he tells these companies, if you don't work with me, I'm going to come at you.
Vince
And so, so you don't even need, I'm sorry, but. So you don't even need to be on Medicare or Medicaid to benefit from this. You can, you can use this if
Dr. Mehmet Oz
you have any insurance provider, any insurance provider. It's not for insurance providers. It's actually for people paying cash. Right now we, we are, we're asking Congress to make it easier for insurance providers and people who work for companies who have insurance to, to use these as well. You still might be better off using Trump Rx. And there are lots of services your company probably won't pay for, like fertility services, where our drugs are one tenth the price on the open market, or weight loss drugs. The most common one, Vince, if you want to lose weight, instead of paying $1,200 a month for these medications, you can get it for $300, $350 now, and the pill is coming out soon, that'll be even cheaper.
Vince
So what you're describing, this idea that Americans are paying three times as much for the same drug that's made by an American pharmace company in the United States of America than some other country. What that means is Americans have been subsidizing these prescriptions for people all around the world and then we pay a premium.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Global freeloading has allowed other countries to just tell these, insure these big pharma guys, we're not going to pay what you want. We're just going to pay a fraction. Listen, yeah, you're making your money in America Right. I know they only have 4% of the population, but more than half your profits are in America. Make your money there. Give us a better deal here in Japan or Germany. So the President said that all those countries have to ante up. They've got to increase what they're paying for these pharmaceutical products so that Americans can pay less. Listen, Vince, we don't want to take away the productivity, the innovation of the sector. We want to protect the creative people, the scientists curing cancer in these companies. But we don't want to carry the whole tack. It's like what happened with NATO. We have an external threat. All companies, all countries, rather, have to ante up about 5% of their GDP to make sure they're arming NATO. So we can protect the European continent from Russia and others. And America chips in accordingly because we're a team player. Same thing for pharmaceuticals. There's external threats like Russia, there's internal threats like cancer. And so we all have to ante up a little more countries are coming on board the Europe. The English UK has agreed already. We're having discussions with other countries. The President's going to make sure that everyone chips in. No more global freeloading.
Vince
It's amazing. You know, it's funny, though, because to hear the left talk about President Trump, they'll say stuff like, oh, he's in bed with the pharmaceutical companies and the big insurance companies. And meanwhile, what you're describing to me is like, the pharmaceutical companies can't be happy with this. The insurance companies can't be happy. When he stands up at the State of the Union and says, you know what? I want to send money directly to the people. No more giveaways to the insurance, insurance companies. This isn't exactly a guy who's in the pocket of these industries.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Quite the opposite that they do not really like when you've got someone as powerful as President Trump in there who acts on what he says. And I've had countless conversations, again, I adore the President. I've known him for a long time. But you sit there and you say, Mr. President, this is going to be a really difficult decision. You know, companies going to be upset, they're going to lobby against you. And he'll say every single time, I don't care, I don't care. Do the right thing. You know, fix the problem. And he's not even trying to placate individuals, you know, who aren't in these companies. He just wants to do the right thing for the country and getting prices down for American consumers in Pharmaceuticals is a top priority, especially when we know that they're at the rates they are at because other countries aren't carrying their load. These are the kinds of changes that we have been making. If we can codify this, we can get Congress to actually put into law that what we have done with these contracts is going to be the rule of law for the foreseeable future. We will protect the generation of Americans.
Vince
I love it. All right. Well, Dr. Mehmet Oz, of course, is the administrator for the center for Medicare and Medicaid Services these days. You've known him for years and here he is working on behalf of the American people. Sir, thank you for your time today. Look forward to chatting with you again soon, sir.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
God bless. Vince, stay.
Vince
Well, There he is, Dr. Oz. Appreciate him. He's got to get to work now. He's got, he's got things to do. He's got things to do. Yes, indeed. Thank you, Chad. Everybody piling in. Happy to see Dr. Oz here this morning. Yeah, it's great. It's great for. Nice to have him here. Okay, we've got a lot more to get to. I've got a big grand conspiracy update you and I have to talk about. That's important and so much more. All ahead on this edition events. I do want to thank one of our great sponsors who do make the show possible, Patriot Mobile. I love Patriot Mobile. I use Patriot Mobile all the time. America's right now in the midst of celebrating its 250th anniversary. 250 years. We did it, ladies and gentlemen. You look great, by the way. You don't look a day over 100. And I believe the direction of this country is really being decided right now. In our culture and our economy and who we choose to support in our country matters more than ever. It really is the case. You know, a lot of wireless companies don't even care at all about what you believe or who you are or, you know, if your family is thriving. They just want your money. Patriot Mobile is totally different. Patriot Mobile has been fighting for the Christian conservative cause in this country for more than a dozen years now. And the cool thing is not only are they a company with great American values, they're also a company with top tier cell phone service. They really are. They have premium priority access on all three major U.S. networks. You're going to get the same or even better coverage than you have right now. If you think switching is a hassle, it's not at all. You can keep your number, keep your phone or even upgrade their 100% US based support team can activate you in just minutes if you're still paying off a device. Well, Patriot Mobile even offers a contract buyout. It's pretty great. This is defining year. We have to work together, everybody, to save our country. I, I walked, I, I, I walked down to the kitchen this morning. I was dressed in my blue shirt and my daughter sees me, my 11 year old, and she looks at me and she goes, you look 10 years younger. I think she delivered in that, in that tone too. I was like, what are you talking about? She's like, blue shirt makes you look younger. And then she went off to school. I was like, all right, I'll take it. That's a compliment. I'll take that. Thank you. Look, 10 years. How about that? We all look younger on a Friday. Feel good about that. Hey, let's get into this grand conspiracy thing. You ready? Oh, I got a trade for you. Here we go. You ready? Here's grand conspiracy update. Here we go. And now it's time for a grand conspiracy update. Hey, and now it's time for a grand conspiracy update. Only on the Vince show. Yeah, it's time for a grand conspiracy update. We've been waiting for this. You know, it's funny, we, for, for a while now, we've had people in the chat going, hey, Vince, where's, where's the grand conspiracy thing? What happened to that? Remember I was telling you last year that all of the reporting was indicating that there's something working up in South Florida right now, that, that basically There is a U.S. attorney down there, a grand jury has been impaneled. They are seeking all sorts of information right now. Yeah, bad old Kitty. Battle Kitty has been waiting for this. That's right. Thank you, Battle Kitty. They've been trying to seek all sorts of information about the people who have subverted the Justice Department through the years and use the tools of government to try and crush the President of the United States and everybody around him. Everybody. And the early indicators, and I'm talking about mid year last year. Was that a, by January or maybe February, we could see these charges being brought in the grand conspiracy case down in Florida. And then the last time I got any reasonable update on this, I had heard from a source and I shared with you that it, it may be a little overeager to expect these charges in January or February. It may be a little bit beyond that at least. Okay. All right. So basically I was told like cool your heels a little bit. But it's underway. All right, it's underway. And we just got an update and it involves James Comey. Here's what we have. Let me share this with you. Pull this up on the screen here. Axios reporting and a number of other outlets now joining in on the reporting yesterday that James Comey has been subpoenaed in the grand conspiracy case against Trump. Former FBI Director James Comey has been subpoenaed in the wide ranging conspiracy case against the ex officials who investigated rather and prosecuted President Trump. Two sources with knowledge of the situation tell Axios the investigation has produced. You ready for the number here? The investigation has produced more than 130 subpoenas so far since it began last year. And it targets top officials who worked under Presidents Obama and Biden. So what you have, this is not a small deal. This is a massive situation where you have a U.S. attorney, a grand jury impaneled, a judge signing off. You have subpoenas going out the door, 130 of them. These are for all the people who were working under Obama and Biden. This dates back to reports say all the way back to 2016 and that election. And the reason why the phrase grand conspiracy matters so much is not merely that it's fun to say. It's also that there is no statute of limitations on a grand conspiracy case. Whereas with all sorts of other crimes you run into these five year statutes of limitations. Oh, that's gone. Oh, we can't go after the guy anymore. If you establish it's a grand conspiracy, the statute of limitations continues to run and from the last overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy. So if some one of these guys go out in public or go on television and they deny that anything wrong happened, that's the last act, that's the last overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy. And it leaves everybody vulnerable. That was a part of the conspiracy. The officials so far who received subpoenas, Axios reports include James Comey and have they've all decried the investigation as political persecution and lawfare. The Trump administration's grand conspiracy theory posits, it posits as if this is not something we've all well established that Democrat officials bent the rules, broke the law and lied under oath, which of course they did. They did all of those things to investigate, prosecute, and otherwise undermine Trump from his election back in 2016 all the way through the federal indictments in 2023. The Comey subpoena was just issued last week, Axios reports, and relates to his role, his alleged role in the drafting of the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment. Remember this? The intelligence community assessment, the one that the Steele dossier formed the the meat of. Yet they tried to bury the fact that the Steele dossier even played a role. It was included in the annex of the intelligence community assessment, and it was rammed in there, we now know, by John Brennan and James Comey. They're the guys who rammed that fictional Steele dossier into the intelligence community assessment. So, of course, James Comey would be a part of the grand conspiracy. The assessment referenced the now widely discredited Steele dossier Axios acknowledges, whose inclusion ran counter to fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment, according to John Ratcliffe, the CIA director who completed a review of all of this last June. So let me pause on this for a moment because that, that seems to be one of the most important things we could possibly talk about, John Ratcliffe and what he discovered. If I take you back to last July, it was June when it was conducted. It was July when this piece of journalism was produced by the Fox News Channel. Take a look here. This is Fox News reporting that the FBI had launched a criminal investigation of John Brennan and James Comey. According to DOJ sources, this was because John Ratcliffe had referred evidence of wrongdoing by Brennan to Cash Patel, the FBI director for prosecution, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital. The sources said the referral was received and told Fox that a criminal investigation into Brennan was opened and it's underway. DOJ sources declined to provide further details. It's unclear at this point if the investigation spans beyond his alleged false statements to Congress. Now we know it does. Of course, it's a grand conspiracy case. As for Comey, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital that an investigation into the former director is underway, but they couldn't share details of what specifically is being probed. The full scope of the criminal investigations into Brennan and Comey unclear. But two sources describe the FBI's view of the duo's interactions as a conspiracy. Well, that sounds like a familiar phrase, doesn't it? Which could open up a wide range of potential prosecutorial options, including, of course, the fact that the statute of limitations is Much, much longer. The FBI and the CIA declined to comment at the time. This is July of last year. Neither Brennan nor, nor Comey immediately responded to Fox News Digital's request for comment. The Brennan investigation comes after Ratcliffe last week declassified a lessons learned review of that intelligence community assessment. And the review found that the process was rushed. They had procedural anomalies and officials diverted from all regular intelligence standards. They also determined that the agency heads, that would be Brennan and Comey. You guys tracking all this? This really, these are the key elements here. Brennan and Comey pushed to get the Steele dossier into the ica and it ran counter to all the fundamental tradecraft principles and ultimately undermined the credibility of a key judgment. That, that basically that it was nonsense. It was complete nonsense. And for those of you who've been tracking the story long enough, maybe, maybe we got some newcomers. But you know the Steele dossier, where it came from. Christopher Steele, former MI6 guy hired by Fusion GPS, who was hired by a law firm called Perkins Coie, who was hired by Hillary Clinton. Look at this Russian nesting doll in order to come up with a pile of garbage about Donald Trump. Just a, just a packet of lies that was used as the basis to investigate the candidate, President Trump, Candidate Donald Trump and then subsequently President Trump in order to stagger his first term in office, forming the basis of Adam Schiff, like wagging his finger at everybody that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians and forming the basis of ludicrous impeachment efforts against President Trump. All of that, a grand conspiracy. And it continued after President Trump was out of office. When he left office, what did they do? They prosecuted him like crazy. They threw every left wing prosecutor with every rigged jury across the country. They tried to banish him from the election, get him pulled off the ballots. A grand conspiracy. So now we get this update from Axios that it's underway. That is underway. And now James Comey, who's overgrown and now in now the recipient of a subpoena. He's got to pay more legal bills to handle all of this. Good. Keep them coming. Keep them coming. Ratcliffe referred Comey and Brennan for prosecution. Axios confirms, while popular with the online. Right, that would be you and I. That's what they're talking about here on Axios. The idea of a criminal grand conspiracy has so far failed in the courts, which critics say is proof that no real crime against Trump took place. Oh, yeah, that's the way to view it. It's not that we have radical judges who have been Upending the justice system for their own cruel political purposes. It must be that the case is phony. It's unbelievable. Here's what they, here's what Axios points to, though, that is giving cause for hope on the right. U.S. district Judge Eileen Cannon, a Trump nominee who threw out the federal prosecution against him in his classified documents case in 2024. Yeah, you know why? You know why Eileen Cannon threw out the prosecution against Trump? Because Jack Smith is a fraud. He was unconstitutional. He wasn't a real special counsel. There was nothing legitimate about his appointment. He, he was completely unconstitutional. Clarence Thomas detected this. He wrote this in a Supreme Court opinion. And subsequently Judge Eileen Cannon, a real federal judge, she looked at all of this. She goes, this guy's a phony. And she threw the case out on that basis. That wasn't mentioned in the Axios piece. They didn't bother to mention that the guy was unconstitutional. Yeah, they just said that. She throws out the case. And what you have now is a grand jury impaneled in the Southern District of Florida, a real district with real considerate, thoughtful Americans who are actually looking at this and going, okay, I've seen enough. Let's, let's censor subpoenas out. I've seen enough. It looks like we've got evidence here. Let's start gathering it. And if they see evidence of a crime, what follows? Indictments? Cannon, Fort Pierce based courtroom. Cannon. It says Cannon Cannons, as in her Fort Pierce based courtroom is located in a region of Florida's Southern district that has more pro Trump, has a more pro Trump jury poll than the other federal districts that previously handled the cases involving Comey and Brennan. Yet the Eastern District of Virginia was a complete dumpster fire. Remember James Comey? Prosecution began there, and we got the Eastern District of Virginia and the shenanigans that everybody was pulling. We had a, we had a US Attorney there who was in bed with James Comey, who refused to prosecute those guys. And so at the last minute, before the statute of limitations runs out, President Trump puts in someone else to do the job. The Justice Department. Pam Bondi puts in someone else to do the job. She goes in, she gets these charges worked up, and then the judges, on behalf of James Comey, throw the case out. So it's been a mess, but it didn't mean it was the end of the road for Comey and his legal problems. Now we've got this in Florida. This is a very big deal. Brennan, Axio says, is central to the case because he's accused of Lying in a congressional deposition concerning the Steele dossier in 2023. 2023, that's three years ago. For those of you keeping track at home, this makes a prosecution still permissible under the five year statute of limitations. Now, Axios points out that James Comey's alleged crimes and his alleged false statements would have already run the statute of limitations because he apparently made false statements in 2020. It's like. Well, it's 2026. Five years is run. Yes, but U.S. attorney Jason Redding Quinones hopes to tie James Comey, John Brennan and others, including Jack Smith, together in a prosecutable conspiracy case. Now, why chat is this happening in Florida? How is it that that Jason Quinones, the US Attorney in Florida, has jurisdiction here? Why is this happening in Florida? Does anybody know the answer to this? I'm going to let Chat do this analysis because I think the chat knows. I think the chat knows. Why is it in Florida? How did we achieve this? How did we get to a district where this could all happen? A fair jury and judges. Yes, there it is. Lady Roy Mustang. They raided Mar A Lago. They raided Mar A Lago. So let's pick up the breadcrumbs on this case. Think about this. You've got the Steele dossier. You've got all of the pursuits of Donald Trump and the people around him. You've got the lying before Congress. You have an endless series of crimes. But again, as I pointed out, a grand conspiracy case, in order to keep it alive, it requires the last overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy. John Brennan very helpfully lied to Congress in 2023. Perfect. It keeps the statute of limitations alive. The jurisdiction, Florida. How do we get so lucky? We have a fair judge and a fair jury looking at all of this. That's Mar A Lago. The fatal mistake that they made was raiding Mar A Lago. Jack Smith, by raiding Mar A Lago opened up this possibility of a fair jurisdiction, considering the grand conspiracy against Donald Trump. And here we are. Here we are. So we have a grand conspiracy update today. Is it the end of this saga? No, hardly. In fact, in a lot of ways, it's the beginning. But James Comey has been subpoenaed and he better have some good lawyers because he's got a real case to deal with here. He's got some problems ahead. All right, more ahead on the program. We got a lot more to get to here on the show, including I do have another update for you on the Save America Act. So we have to get to that as well. We really do on a Friday. Best audience anywhere. I've got a lot for you. I've got the. Oh, all right. The Save America Act. I say oh like it's not the single most dominant issue on this show. The Save America Act. I love Senator Eric Schmidt. He's very good. Yesterday, he was pointing out in their ongoing debate on the floor of the Senate that these Democrats, you know, they just let in. It's helpful to remember the context. They just let in millions upon millions upon millions upon millions. I'm not sure how many millions. He gets to. He gets to a lot of millions here of military age. Males have poured across our border, and we still have people in Congress acting like there's really no problem to deal with. Really. Here's Eric Schmidt.
Senator Eric Schmidt
Yesterday, I answered the Democrats lies with the actual text of the bill. Today I rise to warn the body. We're watching a nation decide whether or not it chooses to exist. It won't happen overnight, but over time, this is what happens. First comes the surrender of citizenship itself. And that's title one of the substitute that I've save American voters. We just endured four years of the wildest open border in American history. Millions, millions and millions and millions of military aged men from 160 different countries flooded into this nation while Democrats cheered diversity and equity. Now those same Democrats have the audacity to claim that simply asking people to prove that they're American citizens before they register to vote is somehow voter suppression. Let me translate what they're really saying. They want those people who came here illegally to vote for them, to suppress the vote of actual Americans.
Vince
Yes.
Senator Eric Schmidt
They fear actual American citizens voting more than they fear the fraud. American elections are for Americans.
Vince
Amen.
Senator Eric Schmidt
And we need safeguards. When I was Missouri's Attorney General, I stood in court and fought the left's dark money lawyers to defend these very safeguards. Missouri fought back. We didn't settle. We fought back and we won. The American people deserve that same victory here because when citizenship becomes optional at the ballot box, the republic itself becomes optional.
Vince
Yes. Amen. Is this existential? This is existential. The future of our constitutional Republic is very much on the line. Senator Schmidt is great. Thank you. Senator Schmidt, we salute you today. And he laid out the stakes really clearly, really starkly, which is we're losing our country. We have millions upon millions of people who were just let in. Military age males. He's right about that. So not only do they threaten the sovereignty of your vote, they threaten the sovereignty of our nation. We've seen all sorts of very violent chaos as a result of all of this. Communities being torn apart by it. It's absolutely disgraceful. Washington acts like this is just some minor inconvenience. Meanwhile, for the rest of us, it is a massive imposition. It is a deeply disruptive and destructive problem. Crisis going on in our country. Remember when. Oh, Josh, Josh. I was in my flow. But you're right. You're totally right. I forgot the gavel. We have the gavel. Thank you very much. We're gaveled into the Save America Act. But the thing is like our borders really do matter now. Thankfully, the President has sealed them up. The President has absolutely sealed them up, which is great news. But that'll only last as long as this presidency. He's working on the border wall right now. They should be done that before his presidency concludes. We got the money for it, they got the contract for it. The construction is starting right now. And the rest of that border wall will be done, they say, by early 2020. 8. This will be before President Trump leaves office. Thank goodness. That'll include water barriers, all the things we need, but we need to protect our vote. What Eric Schmidt just described is a civil rights bill. This piece of legislation is the most important civil rights legislation this century. We have to protect American votes. We have to prevent them from being suppressed by fraudsters, by cheaters who shouldn't be in our elections. And so Eric Schmidt makes the case. Now we've heard. What's interesting is now that we've stretched on all week long. We started this on Tuesday, is now Friday. As we stretched on all week long through this debate, you're beginning to hear some Democrats crying at least whimpering, uncle a little bit. They want to get out of this. And so John Fetterman has said, well, I could support a voter ID bill. If it's just voter id, I could support that. Chuck Schumer is now saying, well, Democrats support voter id, he claims. And part of this is they're just looking at the polling on the subject. They're finally, like, acknowledging that every Democrat supports voter id. Check this out. This is the, these are the numbers. This just came to us from a CBS News poll this week. CBS News, do you favor or oppose requiring people to show valid photo ID before they're permitted to vote? 80% favor. That's in a CBS poll, say that 80%, 20% oppose. That adds up to 100. Among Democrats, it's 65, 35. In other words, it's a 30 point margin in favor of voter ID. Now among Republicans, it's 95 to 5. I don't know who the five are. Those must all be like Thom tillis or something. But 95 to 5. Independents, 7,921 white people. 80, 20. Black people. 80, 20. Hello. I'm sorry, I thought, I thought there was some big discrepancy here. There's supposed to be division here that black people don't want voter ID laws. Black people want it as much as white people do. Hispanics are at 7723 right now. So everyone's virtually at 80 according to this CBS YouGov poll. So now you have Democrats paying lip service to it. At least. They're like, well, we, we would be okay with photo id. They. Now, granted, Chuck Schumer's lying to you. Chuck Schumer's lying. He's not. He doesn't actually want a true authentication for voters in any polling place in America. He's perfectly happy with the whole operation being susceptible to fraud. But this has formed the basis of a question to Mike Lee and others, which is like, hey, is there any way you'd be willing to just do a photo ID bill? Here's what Mike Lee had to say about this yesterday. Cut three, watch.
Josh Spiegel
Because of Senator Houston and his great idea on this, they'll have their chance this afternoon to state their position on that, state their position on whether to support that and what they would do with the rest of it. If your question to me is, would I walk away from, from the rest of the bill and say, oh, okay, well, we got this, never mind. No, no, we're going to continue to push the rest of the legislation. If we can get that passed separately, fantastic. We'll focus on the rest of the provisions. The two things are necessary for different reasons. And there again, if somebody comes up with a good faith, productive suggestion about how we could make those provisions better, I'm all ears. I'm open to suggestions. But the, the freestanding independent concerns would remain. It would be fantastic. If we get this win, they shouldn't object. They should allow this to become law. And I think the country would be better off for it. And then we could move on to the other items. But I'm not going to walk away from the rest of it because, remember, the whole reason we're here. What started the original SAVE act was this realization of a confluence of events and changes in law and the interpretation of law over the last 33 years since NVRA was passed that have resulted in 30 million plus noncitizens in the United States.
Vince
All right, so you heard Mike Lee say, look, no, we're not. We're not changing the bill right now. That's not happening. We're sticking with the Save America Act. These guys should get on board right now on this. We're not making it just a photo ID bill. But, but you just heard him say, well, there is Senator John Houston, Republican Senator John Houston. He is going to be asking Democrats today if they could just pass the photo ID portion by unanimous consent. Unanimous consent, meaning no objections. Just by unanimous consent, we'll pass the photo ID portion. You ready to do that, Democrats? You claim you. Are you ready to do it? John Husted put him to the test yesterday. This is what it looked like on the floor of the United States Senate. Watch.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Madam President, showing a photo ID is common sense.
Vince
The American people support it by an 8020 margin.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
And as I've been saying for more than a decade and a half, it is possible to make it both easy
Vince
to vote and Hard to cheat.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
And we should make that a national
Vince
standard with a photo ID law that
Dr. Mehmet Oz
is easy to implement and is proven effective. Passing voter ID requirements is common sense.
Vince
Yep. And passing this provision that I offer
Dr. Mehmet Oz
tonight that's part of the Save America
Vince
act is right for election integrity and it's the right thing to do for voter confidence.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
And I urge a yes vote.
Josh Spiegel
I want to thank my friend and distinguished colleague, the senator from Ohio, for his observations, for his insights on this. This is one of many true talents we have in the Senate. He's particularly well qualified in this area given his experience in the state of Ohio with mastering the election laws of that state and the federal election laws.
Vince
No yawning Rick Scott.
Josh Spiegel
With state election laws. I'm not sure there's anyone in the Senate currently or who has ever served here who has a greater knowledge of these laws and the way that they intersect for the same reasons articulated by the senator from Ohio. I think this is an exceptionally good idea. It's not every bill where it makes sense to separate out a provision, try to pass that provision on its own.
Vince
Let's try it separate from the rest
Josh Spiegel
of the text of the bill. But this is one of those instances. Let's try it where it makes sense. Now, don't get me wrong. Neither I nor the Senator from Ohio are suggesting that we still don't need the rest of the Save America Act. That's not our point. The point is that these are separately divisible such that they could be enacted separately. And insofar as there is a greater degree of consensus with regard to the voter ID component of the Save America act than there are with regard to the citizenship components, it makes sense for us to get this done now. Let's pass it. Let's pass it right now. Let's do it. Let's do it by unanimous consent.
Vince
Let's do it.
Josh Spiegel
Let's make this law and then we can proceed back to deal with the rest of the issues within the Save America Act. This is what progress looks like. This is what consensus building looks like. And I thank my friend and colleague from Ohio from raising this. Look, no matter how you feel about the rest of the provisions of the bill, it's not too much to ask somebody to just show who they are when they show up on voting day. That provision is very simple. Let's get this passed. Let's get it done right now.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Madam President.
Vince
Yeah. And then guess what happened? They voted no. They blocked it. Of course they did. They blocked it. We don't photo ID no, we didn't actually mean it. And it's not just Fetterman who said it was Chuck Schumer, the head of the Democrats in the Senate. Oh, we'd be for photo id. Yeah, we're totally for it. Okay, let's pass it with unanimous consent. No. Oh, God. You love fraud. You love fraud. They love fraud more than we love America. And we love America. It's amazing. It's amazing. All right, so what else are the Democrats saying? Oh, you got this. Here's Bernie Sanders. Bernie fricking Sanders says that illegal the legals voting in our elections is fictional. This never happens. It's a problem that does not exist. It does not exist anywhere. It's not an issue. I do not know why we're even talking about this. Here's Bernie Sanders. Yesterday. Come forward.
Josh Spiegel
Watch country faces unprecedented crises. The United States Senate has spent an entire week debating a problem that essentially does not exist. The goal of the SAVE act that is on the floor right now is to make certain that non citizens do not vote in American elections. I don't know that anyone disagrees with that. And the good news is that non citizens do not vote in American elections.
Vince
All right, enough of this guy. He combed his hair with a balloon. Then he came out and he said that crazy crap. Here's proof positive that Bernie Sanders is full of garbage. This is literally this past week. ICE arrests criminal illegal alien who voted in seven federal elections since 2008. There's his mugshot. His name's Mahadi Sacco and he registered to vote in Pennsylvania. Illegal alien. He's voted seven times. I'm sorry, just. It's like it does. It's so funny. It's so easy to disprove the nonsense that comes out of the mouths of these left wingers. But you know, he was holding the floor and nobody could say anything yesterday. I just wish somebody was in there yell, Mahadi Sacco. What about Mahadi Sacco? Yeah, Mahadi Sacco voting seven times illegally, of course, in Philadelphia, you know, it never happens. Except for when it does. Obviously. That's the. That's the exception. When it does happen, it happens. But other than that, it never happens. The other good news here on the Save America act, while we're on the subject, is the Senate is going to work through the weekend. This weekend, the Washington Times reports that the Senate is going to debate all weekend long this legislation. John Thune said on Thursday yesterday that he will be using the cloture process to attempt to bring at least one amendment to a vote this weekend, but he didn't say which one. A source familiar with the process told the Washington Times it's probably going to be the ban on transgender athletes from playing in women's sports. In other words, men playing in women's sports. That'll be one of the first cloture votes we see on this subject. Will we see? Will it get 60? Will, will Democrats vote to stop men from interfering in women's sports? Pretty sure. You and I both know the answer is no. They're perfectly comfortable with cheating at all levels, both in elections and in women's sports. But that, that'll be put to the test, very likely this weekend, as the Senate will. Unbelievable. They'll be working through the weekend. Isn't that, here's a sou. What a shock. It'll work through the weekend. Yeah. It's not going to be intense, though. Come on, come on. Let's be serious. I mean, you know, they're going to take big breaks for, for their naps and their, their fancy lunches. It's not going to be like, like an end to end Mr. Smith goes to Washington deal at all. Although it should be. Remember, Rachel Bovard joined us on the show this week. You know what these guys should be doing? Exhaust these Democrats. Make them stand there until they fall over. Exhaust them. You actually want to pass this thing. The tyranny of exhaustion is the way to do it. That's the way to do it. You know, maybe a little Chinese water torture or something. Drops, drop little droplets of water on Bernie Sanders head until they pass the Save America Act. Whatever it takes, get it done. That's all we're, that's all we're asking. We're asking for you to do your job. The pressure is on. And no audience, I'm telling you right now, no audience has put more pressure on the United States Senate than this one. None. None. Thank you for that. It's been a big deal. A very big deal. Some final pieces for you as we end today. A little bit of Iran update for you. Some two, two big moments yesterday, two big clips I want to share with you. One, did you see Margaret Brennan yesterday crapping on Pete Hegseth for praying for the troops? Praying in the name of Jesus for the troops. What was this, what was this idiocy yesterday? Margaret Brennan, she said the secretary of defense tells the American people to pray for our troops on bended knee and invokes Jesus name. And then she puts four periods at the end, an ellipsis, four periods long to really Emphasize that. She's aghast at this. I can't believe this. The Secretary of Defense would invoke Jesus and say, pray for the troops. Now, you'd have to know literally nothing about America's founding or her founders to think that this is scandalous. You'd have to really have contempt for the majority of your country to think that this is scandalous. Most. Most Americans, in fact, not only agree with this, but are enthusiastic to hear a government official say those words out loud. Here's what Pete Hegseth actually said yesterday. Here are the offending remarks that ticked off Margaret Brennan. Watch.
Josh Spiegel
So to the families who said, finish this.
Vince
We will. And I say the same to every American who wants peace through strength. May Almighty God continue to bless our
Dr. Mehmet Oz
troops in this fight.
Vince
And again to the American people, please pray for them every day on bended knee with your family, in your schools, in your churches, in the name of Jesus Christ. To the troops.
Josh Spiegel
Keep going and Godspeed.
Vince
That was so nice. What a breath of fresh air. Of course, Margaret Brennan is crapping on it. How sad. How utterly sad. Thank you to the Secretary of War for saying that. And definitely pray for the troops. His advice is well taken. It's very well taken. We end today on a lighter moment. The left is angry about this, too. I'm sure Margaret Brennan was upset, but did you see the President of the United States with the Japanese prime Minister yesterday? Did you see this moment? A member of the Japanese press was in the Oval Office yesterday as the two world leaders were doing a bilateral together. And the President very graciously said, well, how about somebody from the Japanese press ask a question? And I'm not going to. I'll do. I won't do any more setup here. I just want you to hear the exchange. Here's a member of the Japanese press asking the President of the United States about the war in Iran. Watch.
Josh Spiegel
Japan and us are very good friends. But one question.
Vince
Why didn't you tell us allies in Europe and Asia, like Japan, about the war before attacking Iran? So we are very confused about we Japanese citizens.
Senator Eric Schmidt
Well, one thing.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
You don't want to signal too much.
Josh Spiegel
You know, when we go in, we
Dr. Mehmet Oz
went in very hard, and we didn't tell anybody about it because we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Okay. Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor?
Vince
Okay.
Dr. Mehmet Oz
Right. He's asking me now. You believe in surprise? I think much more so than us. And we had a surprise, and we did. And because of that surprise, we knocked out the first two days. We probably knocked out 50% of what we. And much more than we anticipated doing. So if I go and tell everybody about it, there's no longer a surprise.
Vince
Who knows more about who knows more about surprise than Japan? How come you didn't tell me about Pearl Harbor? I'm telling you. Yesterday it was. Jake Tapper was fact checking this. He goes, the Japanese prime minister wasn't even born when Pearl Harbor. Yeah, like that. Trump meant it. Trump meant that. Why didn't someone call him? Trump wasn't alive. This whole thing is so stupid. The guy is unstoppable. He's just unstoppable. That's natural comedy, by the way. That was, that was, that was crowd work. That was unreal. That was super funny. The media really pissed off about this today. I was laughing last night. I'm going through headlines last night, you know, prepping for the show. And I'm looking. Look at this. These are just some of the ones I screenshotted last night as I'm getting ready. Here's NBC News. Trump makes Pearl harbor joke during meeting with Japanese Prime Minister. Washington Post with Japanese Prime Minister at his side. Trump makes Pearl harbor joke. Well, it wasn't a Nagasaki joke, it was a Pearl harbor joke. You know, lighten up, everybody. The guy's funny. I feel sad for these people. You know what's going to happen? The whole Trump presidency is going to go by and they're not going to realize how funny it was in the moment. They're really missing out. I'm, I'm glad we're locked in. As always, great to have you with me. I really appreciate. You really are the best audience anywhere. Just, just the absolute best. Guest: Dr. Mehmet Oz

Massive Fraud Unveiled: Dr. Oz reveals an estimated $100 billion a year is stolen from Medicare and Medicaid, exploiting weaknesses relaxed during COVID and overwhelmed government oversight.
“If you really care about these programs and you care about affordability of healthcare, you do not let $100 billion get stolen a year.”
—Dr. Mehmet Oz [03:20]
California ‘Crime Ecosystem’:
New York’s ‘Jobs Program’ Scam:
Minnesota Autism Fraud:
National Crackdown Strategy:
Payment moratoriums for suspicious providers (esp. DME suppliers in Florida).
Criminal referrals to DOJ, FBI, and Office of Inspector General [OIG].
“Our job is when OIG calls us and says, we suspect fraud, stop their payments, we stop it immediately.”
—Dr. Mehmet Oz [11:02]
Obstacles to Accountability:
“If these jerks will steal your money, they will steal your health, they will steal your life.”
—Dr. Mehmet Oz [09:45]

Problem: Americans pay up to 3x more for the same drugs than consumers in Europe and Asia.
“Global freeloading has allowed other countries to just tell these big pharma guys, ‘We’re not going to pay what you want… you’re making your money in America.’”
—Dr. Mehmet Oz [17:16]
The Trump Rx Solution:
Industry Reaction:
Pharma and insurance lobbyists are “not happy” but Trump is unwavering.
“He’ll say every single time, ‘I don’t care, I don’t care. Do the right thing. You know, fix the problem.’”
—Dr. Mehmet Oz [18:54]
Next Steps:
Timestamps: [24:34] – [41:40]
Breaking News: Axios reports former FBI Director James Comey subpoenaed in Trump administration’s long-rumored “grand conspiracy” case. Over 130 subpoenas issued targeting Obama and Biden-era officials.
“What you have... is a massive situation where you have a U.S. attorney, a grand jury impaneled, a judge signing off. You have subpoenas going out the door, 130 of them.”
—Vince [25:20]
Scope & Stakes:
Comey & Brennan’s Roles:
Jurisdiction in Florida:
Case arises from the Mar-a-Lago raid, giving the Florida district (and Trump-appointed Judge Eileen Cannon) jurisdiction and a likely favorable jury pool.
Vince argues this was a “fatal mistake” for Smith et al., opening the door for serious prosecution.
“Jack Smith, by raiding Mar A Lago opened up this possibility of a fair jurisdiction, considering the grand conspiracy against Donald Trump. And here we are.”
—Vince [38:05]
Legal Wrinkles:
Timestamps: [41:43] – [54:29]
Senator Eric Schmidt (R-MO):
Warns of "existential" risk: millions of military-age males entering the U.S. and a Democratic party “surrendering citizenship itself.”
Defends strict citizenship and voter ID requirements as vital civil rights protections.
“When citizenship becomes optional at the ballot box, the republic itself becomes optional.”
—Senator Eric Schmidt [43:34]
Polling Reality:
Democratic Obstruction:
Despite public support and rhetorical claims (“we’d support voter ID!” from Fetterman & Schumer), Democrats block a unanimous consent vote on voter ID.
“You love fraud. You love fraud. They love fraud more than we love America. And we love America.”
—Vince [52:43]
Bernie Sanders’ Denial:
Dr. Oz on Fraud Culture:
“You know about the Somalians in Minnesota. These folks don’t share our values in their country of origin… then they come here and figure, well, if we’re not going to police our $1.8 trillion Medicare Medicaid Service, we’ll steal from them, too.”
[11:22]
Vince on Conspiracy Prosecution:
“If you establish it’s a grand conspiracy, the statute of limitations continues to run… and it leaves everybody vulnerable.”
[25:40]
Timestamp: [60:34] – [61:43]
When asked by a Japanese reporter why the U.S. didn’t notify Japan or European allies before a strike on Iran, Trump quips:
“You don’t want to signal too much... Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Okay. Why didn’t you tell me about Pearl Harbor?”
—Donald Trump [61:07]
Vince:
“The guy is unstoppable. That was natural comedy, by the way. That was crowd work. That was unreal. That was super funny.”
[61:43]
Vince closes by thanking the audience, encouraging subscriptions, and promoting his radio show and those of his colleagues. He expresses satisfaction that his audience is deeply engaged, presses lawmakers to “exhaust these Democrats,” and salutes the crowd for “putting more pressure on the Senate than anyone.”
