Everybody, welcome to Vince. Great to have you with us on a Friday, the best audience anywhere. It is such a good day to be with you. I've got a lot of news to share with you this morning, including on the Charlie Kirk assassination case, the Tyler Robinson murder trial playing out and just the beginnings of this thing. It's just a, it's a pretrial hearing, a probable cause hearing. And in that hearing yesterday, they finally played the audio video interview with Lance Twigs, apparently. Is that his real name, Twigs? So they played Twiggy's video yesterday and everybody got a chance to finally hear this guy's voice and he talks about Tyler Robinson and sure sounds like Tyler Robinson murdered Charlie Kirk. All the details on that coming up. Hopefully we can put some conspiracy theories to rest in the process. Also, of course, we're going to talk about what the president of the United States is up to. He just fired a bunch of people on an elections commission, which is kind of fun. These are Democrats, of course. Democrats are freaking out about it. And Graham Platner, is he going to actually drop out of the race? He hasn't officially done it yet. That was going on there. We've got a lot more to get to. Coming up on this edition of Vince also will be joined by the great Ned Ryan, who is going to talk to us a little bit about elections and about what makes America so great. We've got so much to talk about. It's all ahead on this edition. Events. But first, I got to tell you about quince. Vince. For Quince, one thing I love about summer is how effortless everything feels. You get the slower mornings, perhaps longer days, outfits that don't require the overthinking. Now I keep reaching for the easy, comfortable pieces. And that's exactly why quince has become my go to. I love quints. They're all about well made essentials that turn into the staples you wear on repeat all season long. Their 100% European linen pants and shirts are breathable, versatile and incredibly easy to style, starting at just $34. I also love their T shirts. Very soft, soft. You wear them all day long, feel great in them. Lightweight cotton sweaters are awesome, too. When the temperatures dip at night, what really stands out is the value. Quince offers pieces that are 50 to 80% less than similar brands. By working directly with ethical factories and skipping the middlemen, it makes it really easy. When I walk into my closet and I'm looking for something to wear, what am I going to wear today? Then I grab the quince. The Quince is great. This is a quint shirt, actually. This is a phenomenal shirt. I love this shirt because it's a quint. Make your summer wardrobe so much easier. Co-host/Interviewer
Which is curious?
Vince
Canada. I've heard of it. Today. Let's talk about what happened yesterday in Utah at that, at that all important murder trial for Tyler Robinson because we're trying to, to get some justice here for the murder of Charlie Kirk, for the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And I can't believe we're approaching a year since that occurred. It was September 10th of last year. And this is the. Finally, there was a lot of haggling in the court about whether or not this video would be played. Now, by now you likely know, considering you and I have been following the details, that Lance Twiggs, the furry, transgender, whatever, boyfriend of Tyler Robinson, sat down with authorities very quickly upon Tyler Robinson's capture and discussed all of this and talked about what he knew and when he knew it. Now, that video, of course, has been available to be used as evidence in this trial, which is of course why they recorded it in the first place. And in the course of the interview, they gave him some livid, that is Lance Twiggs. They gave him some limited immunity so that he couldn't be prosecuted for any of the statements that he gave in the course of this conversation. But the reason that was haggling in the courtroom was the defense that would be. Tyler Robinson's lawyers were insisting that the video contained these sort of distant confessions by a third party that essentially Lance Twiggs would be confessing on behalf of Tyler Robinson to the murder. And they didn't want that to be playing out in this pretrial hearing. They said it's going to corrupt the jury poll. Okay, well, Erica Kirk and the state prosecutors fought very hard for transparency, said, we need this video to be public. We need people to see it, to hear it. This is really important for trust in the judicial process and for the truth to get out. And in the end, they prevailed. This video appearing for the first time in public, you get a chance to hear Twiggy's voice. And here's here's some of the key moments in all of this. I want to thank Nick Sorter for doing a great job of capturing some of the times throughout this. This testimony. But let's go to cut four. This is Lance Twigs outlining how Tyler Robinson asked him if he could borrow a Dremel tool and this was so that he could engrave messages on bullets. Sound familiar? Cut four. Watch this.
Co-host/Interviewer
He asks you here. Remember how I was engraving bullets? Was he engraving bullets before this?
Digital Reporter Trace
Yeah.
Lance Twigs
I don't remember exactly when, but he had said he was planning to go hunting with his family. And he asked me for a. If we had like a Dremel to. Because he said he wanted to create messages on bullets. And I just told him where Dremel was and told him to make sure he doesn't like, set off a bullet on accident in the house. But I didn't really think about it until then.
Co-host/Interviewer
How long before September 10th was this that he asked about the Dremel?
Lance Twigs
I don't remember because he'd been talking about the hunting camping trip for a couple months. But I, I don't remember when he was specifically asking to engrave the bullets. So.
Vince
So are we talking like a year before?
Lance Twigs
Oh, no, not, not that, not that long. It would have been, I'd say at most a month before. This was when he was asked before.
Vince
A month before. So he's asking for a Dremel. He's starting to engrave bullets. And of course, the bullets that were found at the scene and contained a bunch of engraved messages that were all designed to be attacks on Charlie Kirk, calling him a fascist, telling him to catch the bullets. In fact, some of the testimony yesterday, expert testimony on what was engraved on the bullets. I've got some of the video here. Take a look at this. This is the bullet engraving element.
Co-host/Interviewer
What are we looking at here in Exhibit 19?
Vince
This is the cartridge case that was recovered from the gun.
Co-host/Interviewer
And what position was this in, in the gun?
Vince
This was the. Or this is what was in the chamber.
Co-host/Interviewer
Okay. And the chamber meaning that's where. That's where a cartridge is before it's when it is fired, correct?
Vince
Yes.
Co-host/Interviewer
Do you notice an inscription or an etching on this cartridge case?
Courtroom Expert/Witness
Yes, I do.
Co-host/Interviewer
Will you read what that says?
Courtroom Expert/Witness
Yes.
Vince
Notices bulge.
Co-host/Interviewer
And if we can go down to page two of the exhibit, will you read what this says?
Vince
O, W, O, what's.
Co-host/Interviewer
And to page three. This and question mark. Correct?
Vince
Yes, question mark.
Co-host/Interviewer
All right, if we go to states Exhibit 20,
Vince
they're going through the bullet engravings here.
Courtroom Expert/Witness
So.
Vince
So you can see all these messages. And throughout, they have the other messages. Hey, fascist. Catch is here.
Co-host/Interviewer
Here.
Vince
Here's the hey, fascist. And then catch. And then there's one with a bunch of arrows written on it. So a bunch of messages for the victim. A bunch of deranged messages for the victim here. And Lance Twigs goes, yeah, Tyler Robinson was engraving all of these bullets. And sure enough, those bullets were all found at the scene. So this is. Look, as we go through this, of course, this is completely damning testimony for Tyler Robinson. Every element of this. Now, another piece of this is, remember, after the assassination, we now know. We know. We've known for some time that Tyler Robinson texted Lance Twiggs and indicated to him that he needed to look under his keyboard inside of the apartment that they shared. And that's where he found a note that Tyler Robinson had left behind, indicating that he had assassinated Charlie Kirk. That's what the note says. So let me take you back a little bit in time. First, this is Last September, cut 11. Investigators were discussing this letter that Tyler Robinson had left behind for Lance Twiggs. Take a look at that.
Courtroom Reporter
The roommate. Police interviewed Robinson's roommate, a biological male who was involved in a romantic relationship with Robinson. The roommate told police that the roommate received messages from Robinson about the shooting. And he did provide those messages to police. On September 10, 2025, the roommate received a text message from Robinson which said, drop what you're doing. Look under my keyboard. The roommate looked under the keyboard and found a note that stated, quote, I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I'm going to take it. Police found a photograph of this note. The following exchange. Text exchange then took place after reading the note. The roommate responded. What? You're joking, right? Robinson, I am still okay, my love, but am stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn't be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle. Still, to be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you, roommate. You weren't the one who did it, right, Robinson? I am. I am. I'm sorry.
Vince
I am. Meaning he killed Charlie Kirk. He says in those text messages. Lance Twigs confirmed he did find that note when he spoke to investigators. Here's the video. For the first time seen yesterday, Kyle cut five. Watch.
Co-host/Interviewer
Right. You talked about the note that he left. I want to bring this up, and I should say that these text messages that we've been looking at here are Bates number 54. Okay? The notes have been titled 16.3 with a note and this is base number 58. Do you recognize that on the screen there?
Lance Twigs
Yeah, yeah.
Co-host/Interviewer
What do you recognize it as?
Lance Twigs
That was the note under his keyboard that he was referring to in the first text of that chain.
Co-host/Interviewer
So where did you find us?
Lance Twigs
On his desk, underneath his, like, computer keyboard.
Co-host/Interviewer
And. What, I assume you read it.
Lance Twigs
Yeah.
Co-host/Interviewer
And then what did you do with it after you read it?
Lance Twigs
I believe I just put it back down on the desk after I took a picture of it.
Co-host/Interviewer
Okay. And again, the time you read it was probably around 11 o' clock or so on the 10th. Yes, the night of September 10th. Mm. Right. And did you ever see that again after you placed it back on his desk?
Lance Twigs
No, I don't think I did.
Co-host/Interviewer
And that was a desk in his bedroom?
Lance Twigs
Yes.
Co-host/Interviewer
And that's a separate bedroom than your bedroom?
Lance Twigs
Yeah.
Vince
Confirming the note, confirming all of it. I mean, just what the investigators have said, putting, hopefully putting the rest. Any sort of conspiracy theories around this. And in fact, the note itself for a brief moment, appeared on screen yesterday during the televised proceedings in the trial. Now, as I understand it, the judge had not intended for this note to be seen publicly, but sure enough, it was. It was on screen for a moment before the camera operator panned away. Here is that note, by the way. This is what it looks like. It says here, Luna. That's apparently Tyler Robinson's nickname for Lance Twigs. If you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry. I left the house this morning on a mission and I set an. Sent. Set an auto text. I'm likely dead or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I took it. I don't know if I will or have succeeded, but I had hoped to make it home to you. I wish we could have lived in. And then that's the. The end of the note. Visible note. So is there any indication that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk? Yes, endless indications that Tyler Robinson assassinated Charlie Kirk, including in a handwritten note, no doubt. It's possible, of course, to compare the handwriting to his actual handwriting, which there has to be lots of. So that's, that's some of the, the again, bombshell evidence presented yesterday. And this is just in the pre trial hearing. Just in the pretrial hearing. So. So we have the note. What else do we have? We also have Robinson here. He is talking, sorry, Lance Twigs is talking about how he saw Robinson at home at September 11th. Cut seven here. That was the next day in Which Tyler Robinson once again admitted to killing Charlie Kirk. Cut seven.
Courtroom Expert/Witness
Take a look.
Co-host/Interviewer
September 11th. What time did or did you see high Weber on September 11th?
Lance Twigs
Yes.
Co-host/Interviewer
When did you first see him? On September 11th. So this is the day after?
Lance Twigs
Yeah, I saw him when I woke up. Like I said, he was up and around doing a lot of stuff around the house. And then I think I saw him after that message where I said I'll come home and say I'm doing laundry because I didn't want him going to my parents house right then when he said there was probably cops outside. So I went back home and it was just him there and I said bye to him and then he drove off. So I just went back to my parents house.
Co-host/Interviewer
So he acted erratically. Was he pacing? Was he just sitting down relaxing?
Lance Twigs
No, he was walking around a lot
Co-host/Interviewer
and that's within the home. And did he talk about what he had done?
Lance Twigs
Didn't go into detail. He just. I just asked him in person at what he said was true the night before and he said it was. I started crying a little bit and said he wishes he hadn't done it and then kept going around and just doing stuff, I think to keep himself busy or distracted or something.
Vince
So now multiple confessions to Lance Twigs, all of which he's relaying to investigators now captured on that video. And finally here I want to share with you Lance Twiggs assessment of the surveillance images of a man who certainly looks like Tyler Robinson. And in the view of Lance Twiggs, it is Tyler Robinson. This is a cut 9 Lance Twiggs assessing that security footage that you and I saw nearly a year ago.
Co-host/Interviewer
I'm on the FBI's website. You can see the URL there at the top. This is some press release about this event. And here on the screen you see these. There's looks like there's two rows of three images. Do you recognize the person in these images?
Lance Twigs
I wouldn't say with 100% certainty just because of camera quality, but that looks like him in terms of the shoes he's wearing, the sunglasses. I don't think I'd specifically seen him wearing that hat. But he was usually wearing a hat and then jeans. So it definitely, especially the bottom, the last two definitely do look like him.
Vince
They've got this guy dead to rights. They've got this guy dead to rights. And now some of the big questions become do they plea out of this? Do they go for some sort of plea? Do they try and stop this thing from going to trial at all? Because how in the world does Tyler Robinson win or convince a jury that he didn't do this, given the mountain of evidence that exists against him? Now, in order to get to a plea deal, you would need both sides to agree. You need both the defense attorneys and the prosecution to agree to a deal. What could the deal possibly be? Now, presumably, Tyler Robinson's lawyers would be looking to take the death penalty off the table. Utah's a death penalty state, and as I understand it, their appeal process is relatively short. So a death penalty after sentencing could happen relatively quickly compared to so many other places in the country. And Tyler Robinson's attorneys are going to look for a deal, potentially to foreclose on the death penalty, perhaps to seek life in prison instead. But at this point, I don't know that the prosecutors would even do that. Why take a deal like that when the case is as open and shut and as obvious as this? It almost doesn't make sense at all to take a deal, just straight up take it to trial. If he wants to plead guilty, go for it. But the idea that they would have a deal that precludes the punishment that he deserves, nobody wants to see that. Nobody wants to see that. That guy deserves the chair. That guy deserves to be put to death for what he did to Charlie Kirk. He was squirming yesterday. The reports from inside of the courtroom were that he was fixated on the testimony from Lance Twiggs. He was watching the video intently. Unlike his behavior in so much of the proceedings. He's been doing a lot of doodling, apparently. He's had a pen in his hand. He's been doodling. While we're at it, maybe we can get some handwriting analysis while he's in there. But when the video was playing, he was totally locked in, watching every second of it, squirming, swinging uncomfortably in his chair. Here's an assessment from inside of the courtroom yesterday. Listen to this trace.
Digital Reporter Trace
Just more details coming from inside the courtroom from our digital reporter. When they got to the point discussing the rifle that was used, Tyler Robinson was squirming, apparently uncomfortable, swinging in his chair, scratching his nose. He looked uncomfortable, uncomfortable with the texts that were being discussed. Also, Erica Kirk was looking down, leaning forward, not looking at the screen showing those texts. Our reporter also said Erica was audibly crying throughout the proceeding. Today, when they got to the part about Lance was when he was asking Tyler about the rifle and for hunting, the very graphic detail about the nature of the gun that Robinson said did well in the killing. That is when Tyler Tyler's mom, Tyler Robinson's mom started crying and wiping her eyes. Charlie Kirk's mother had her hand on Erica's upper arm and shoulder, and they were both tearful.
Lance Twigs
Today.
Digital Reporter Trace
After showing the Discord chat logs, the prosecution also put the note from Tyler Robinson on the screen. That's the handwritten note that's been discussed that Tyler Robinson left for his lover. Our reporter inside of the court courtroom says it was a very lengthy full page, handwritten note.
Co-host/Interviewer
Trace.
Courtroom Reporter
Yeah.
Ned Ryan
Matt Fenn, back to you as the news warrants.
Vince
All right, so that's the assessment from inside the courtroom. Tyler Robinson freaking out as that Lance Twigs video was finally played. That's what Erica Kirk asked for. You know, the conspiracy theorizing around this whole trial has been insane to me for a bunch of reasons. But one, this, this idea that like Erica Kirk would somehow have been responsible for her husband's death. This is retarded stuff that people are advancing. Erica Kirk has been the one who's been advocating for maximum transparency on every piece of evidence. What kind of COVID up is demanding that all of the evidence be displayed in public? I mean, just think it through logically. Erica Kirk is the single greatest force for transparency in that courtroom. She has her attorney constantly badgering the judge into releasing the kind of evidence that we just saw yesterday from Lance Twiggs. I get that people are distrustful of our institutions. That's well earned, by the way. That's very well earned. But this is one of those Occam's Razor situations. From the very beginning, we knew that Tyler Robinson was the most obvious guy to be the one who assassinated Charlie Kirk. And now with a mountain of evidence in front of us at this point, I mean, if you get a dead end on the conspiracy theory, I. I don't know what to tell you. I don't know.
Courtroom Reporter
You're lost.
Vince
You're a lost soul. You're a lost soul. As always, allow truth to guide you. That's the. That's the guiding principle. Allow truth to guide you. And in fact, on that, I've got another element on this. There has been. Have you noticed that for people who have been tempted to believe that there was some deeper conspiracy here, that Tyler Robinson's a patsy or whatever, and this idea that they've been advancing, like, oh, why wasn't there an exit wound on Charlie's body? He gets hit with this bullet. How come there wasn't an exit wound? Why did it stay within him? Well, we got answers to that too, yesterday. I've got more on that in just a moment as we, as we look back on this horrific moment in American history and try and get some justice. But first I want to tell you about one of the great sponsors of our program, appreciative of Helix Mattress for supporting the show and for supporting how I sleep each night. Helixsleep.com Vince 20% off site wide, 25 percent off luxe mattresses, 30% OFF elite mattresses. Helixsleep dot com Vince yes, indeed. Thank you to Helix. All right, so this thing about the bullets, what's going on with the bullets? It turns out we now have confirmation that the round that entered Charlie's body was a soft point round. A soft point round. Now why does that matter? Well, I want you to take a look at this assessment. Misfit Patriot put together a video yesterday on this subject and said, well, this, this explains everything. Watch this. Cut 12.
Misfit Patriot
Okay, guys, we finally have actual new information that confirms the type of bullet that was used to kill Charlie Kirk. The one that was found in Tyler Robinson's rifle. Remember that had his DNA on it. The rounds had his DNA on it. And the bullet that was found in Charlie Kirk's neck was an expanding or potentially frangible round. Now these are the ones that he was engraving.
Lance Twigs
I want you to look right here
Vince
where my finger is.
Misfit Patriot
That is without question A soft point round or an expanding jacketed round. Right. Nothing.
Vince
Exactly.
Misfit Patriot
Exact same thing as a frangible round, but behaves very similarly a lot of the time. So these are designed to expand on impact, open up, and when they hit things like bone, they break apart.
Vince
Seems important, doesn't it? Seems very important to get that, that. Get that assessment in there. Mike Lee was in the courtroom, by the way. The senator, the Utah senator, Mike Lee was in the courtroom yesterday, and here's his assessment of everything that he Witnessed in person. Cut 13.
Courtroom Reporter
Watch.
Courtroom Expert/Witness
I was in the courtroom today, sitting next to Jack Krasovic and just behind Erica Kirk when evidence was admitted by Judge Graff. That evidence, the evidence admitted today, is absolutely compelling. It's damning. It contains multiple confessions by the defendant, Tyler Robinson, acknowledging not only that he killed Charlie Kirk, but acknowledging that he did so, having planned it in advance in great detail, and acknowledging at one point that he was motivated by hate. So he admitted this on multiple occasions in multiple ways. So it's difficult to imagine how this results in anything other than a conviction. We will stay tuned on that front. The prosecution has done a great job. And Judge Graff, while being very, very thorough, made the right decision to admit this evidence today.
Vince
Yes, he did. And I, I am so grateful that this is playing out in public, that this trial is playing. This is exactly what Erica Kirk, the Kirk family has requested. Those cameras inside the courtroom, seeing the evidence on screen, hearing it for ourselves. The public really does benefit from transparency in this case, given all of the immense intention to this and concern about it. And this is exactly the way these things should be handled. It's actually one of the things that makes America great, that we can have a functioning justice system and then we can have transparency in the court process. You want to bring the temperature down, you want to calm things down, you want to resolve these things. This is a huge step towards doing that, and we've been advocating for that, and I'm glad to see it happening here. We're not even to the trial phase yet. We'll see if we even get there. But a lot of news this week out of Utah. Finally, some court proceedings, some meaningful court proceedings underway. All right, a lot more to get to on the program, including I want to talk to you about the state of elections right now as we head into the midterms. We've got a lot on our minds and also the state of our country with my next guest. Ned Ryan is going to join us in just a moment. Can't wait to talk to him. But Ned has just put a documentary out with a look back at American history. It's a really important look back, including a look at the way in which the left has been plotting to destroy this great experiment in liberty. The name of the documentary is the Threat of Liberty Keeping Our Republic. I just want you to see a quick clip here, including Hillsdale's Larry Arne describing the psychology of the left. Here's the. Here's the clip.
Courtroom Expert/Witness
So I'll try to state the argument of the progressives. It's a very powerful argument, by the way, what they think. And this mostly is derived from German historicist thought, 19th century, 18th century stuff. What they say is we live in a context and we are shaped by that context. If we were born in Elizabethan times in England, we'd be one kind of thing that same period in France or Germany or China, different kind of thing in America, they're forth kind of thing. And so once we know that we are shaped by our context, it means that what we think is caused in us by external factors. But then it's also liberating because once we know that, maybe we could get control of the circumstances and remake the world and ourselves. So that kind of thinking comes to America in the second half of the 19th century and they want to make a government that can general purpose run everything because we can make everything right. And so he's born the administrative state.
Vince
The documentary is called the Threat of the Threat of Liberty Keeping our Republic as you can view it online right now, Thread of Liberty is the place to see it. Joining me now is Ned Ryan. He's the founder and CEO of American Majority and the executive director and producer of the Threat of Liberty. So tell me about what you did here. Go. This is the 250th anniversary of the country you put out this documentary. I love it. I've been watching it. The Threat of Liberty. Thank you. What's the point here? What are you trying to share with people?
Ned Ryan
So we use Alexis to Tocqueville, the young French nobleman as a backdrop who, who came to the young American Republic early 1830s, actually starting a prison system, and then became fascinated by the American Republic, how is this thing working? And actually spent nine months and traveled 7,000 miles to observe the American Republic, how it was formed, why it was working, and just all of these observations that he made. And we use it as a backdrop to show, first of all, the incredible aspects of the American Republic. But really we call it the threat of liberty events because there's so many times in our history, these inflection points, where a generation at that moment is still committed to and has an obligation to the experiment continuing. So whether it was the beginning in the American Revolution, we're going to form this American Republic, we're going to fight for it, whether it's the Civil War, whether it's these moments. You just showed the clip of, I think, the newest inflection point with us challenging the administrative state and talking about the great gift we've been given. But also, do we still have that obligation to the experiment, not only to those that came before us, but those that are coming after us?
Vince
Yes.
Digital Reporter Trace
So.
Vince
So one of the things that stands out to me from the documentary is you review the fact that Alexis de Tocqueville is traveling our country and what he's witnessing, unlike the French Revolution, he's saying there's a unique spirit for the American Revolution. And what he detects is kind of an obligation to your fellow man that exists throughout our country. This, this sentiment towards volunteerism. There are civic organizations. Yes, there are. Like basically we feel some sort of obligation to our neighbor and it doesn't involve the government at all. It's entirely about just communities helping one another on a private basis. And it made me think, as I'm watching this, Ned, that one of the ways in which the left is destroying the country is they're attacking, they're attacking those bonds. So, so if we're importing millions and millions of people who don't even share a culture or even a language, that really deteriorates our ability to both understand each other and serve each other.
Ned Ryan
So Tocqueville made those observations against the local self governance, which really comes out of, and we allude to John Winthrop and the, the idea of a covenant between not only our Creator, but our fellow man. And as a basis for how the local New England townships began in which they realized we have this obligation to our Creator, we also have an obligation to our fellow man and the idea of governing themselves in these townships. And that really is the beginning of American self governance. We talk about some of the important Aspects of the republican white works. And just so people understand, the Founders studied the history of republics, republics fail. The history of republics is that they all fail. They're very fragile things. And so the Founders decided we are going to put together a self governing republic. First time ever a rights based republic existed in the world in which the people were sovereign. But going back to some of the things that Tocqueville observed that the Founders strongly believed in, Tocqueville observed that he thought faith and liberty would be opponents in this new republic. He found they were intertwined. He realized that America's first political institution was religion. And the Founders realized that a self governing republic only works with virtuous people. And if you look at what John Adams and George Washington were very adamant about this, a lot of the Founders were, but they're two of the ones that we really highlight. Virtue comes from religion. What is the religion that they're referring to at the time? Obviously it's Christianity.
Co-host/Interviewer
Right.
Ned Ryan
And so the idea being you talk about all these things that are taking place in our society today, we have to go back and understand why the Republic was founded, why the Republic worked. And then how do you actually get back to restoring what the Founders envisioned for this country? Because I think again with the administrative state and some of these other things, we've drifted very far away from this.
Vince
I totally agree. I think that the modern left is trying to turn us into the tower of Babel 100%. They're like just straight up just destroying everybody, sending everybody in every direction. You don't even share any common language or culture. And as a result it deteriorates everything that made the American founding great.
Ned Ryan
It's intentional and I don't think I'm saying anything that should be too shocking to the listeners. But the American left loathes, despises, hates the Founders and the founding documents. And it began with the progressive movement, Woodrow Wilson and the early progressives that began the administrative state. You know, I think this is one of the things that's not told enough in our history. You know, everybody wants to look at the progressives. They are for food quality and suffrage. Great, awesome. No disagreements there. How antagonistic they were towards the founders and the Founders vision for this government, how they went out and for the last hundred and call it 14 years have been doing their best to deconstruct the machinery of the Republic because the founders put in place the machinery of the republic separation of powers because they didn't trust human nature. They realized that republics in the past failed because factionalism and one faction became, you know, overwhelmed the others and then dominated, consolidated power. Well, that's exactly what progressives hate. They hate the separation of powers. They actually want to consolidate power.
Vince
Yes.
Ned Ryan
Into the administrative state.
Vince
Yeah, I know this is like, this is only glancingly related, but I do feel like it has an impact on civilization.
Digital Reporter Trace
Totally.
Vince
I just, I just fundamentally, it's changed culture and society. I just saw that. I don't know if you, perhaps you saw this headline. Do you see that in England and in Wales, the number one baby name this year is Mohammed?
Courtroom Expert/Witness
Yeah.
Vince
For the third year in a row, Mohammed is the number one baby name in jolly old London. Now it's London, Stan. And so they keep naming everybody Mohammed. And I'm like, well, that. That's a radical change really quickly. How can a country sustain that much change that quickly?
Ned Ryan
You can't. I mean, this. I think it was Reagan that said, you know, freedom can be lost in a generation. And I think we're seeing a play out in Western Europe. And we make this point in the documentary events that I think some of us are on autopilot. We think, oh, America will never fail. America will never fall. Yeah, you can lose in a generation. And it's always the current generation's obligation to go. Do we actually feel obligated to this experiment? Do we have the political courage, which I call into question with many Republicans today in D.C. do we have the political will and courage to actually carry that thread forward? Because it's going to be some pretty hard decisions because of the things that we're confronting.
Vince
Yes, indeed. Okay. So again, the documentary is called Thread ofliberty. That's threadofliberty.com for people see it. So.
Ned Ryan
And it's free. Go watch it.
Vince
It's free and it's great. And your kids will like it, too. You watch it with the family. So, Ned, let's talk about the state of elections this year. How do you. How are you handicapping the midterms right now?
Co-host/Interviewer
As of today?
Ned Ryan
I would say if you were to make me bet right now, we're not losing the Senate. I think come, you know, when the dust settles after November 3rd, we will still have the Senate. Don't. Don't ask me to tell you what the majority will look like, but I have a hard time believing we will lose the Senate, the House. To me, obviously, we're up against historical trends and, you know, people make the argument this isn't actually Trump's first term. I get it. Historical trends have been that the, the, the party in the White House tends to lose dozens of seats in their first midterm. So but on the counterpoint thence, we have, I think maybe for the first time in a very long time, we're going to have a money advantage over the left, which is unusual for us. We have better.
Vince
Pretty big debt. Right. The, the DNC is in massive debt right now. RNC has a massive war chest.
Ned Ryan
But I want you to think even more beyond that of Trump's putting a lot in from MAGA, Inc. I have the exact figure. I'm not going to quote it, but it's not insignificant. Elon Musk is coming in pretty hard. Some of the donors I work with are coming in pretty hard.
Vince
So wait, Elon Musk is spending in the midterms?
Ned Ryan
Yeah, he's going to come in. There are plans for him to actually come in. And I think primarily focus on Senate races and the House races that are in those states. Again, I'm not as involved in those conversations. But Elon's coming back.
Vince
Is that through his America pack?
Courtroom Expert/Witness
Yes.
Vince
Okay.
Ned Ryan
So he's. He's coming back. Maga, Inc. RNC has a financial advantage. NRCC is doing a great job. You know, the Senatorial Committee's doing great. So money's. Money's not going to be an issue as it normally is for us in midterms. We're going to have better candidates. They've done a good job of recruiting. On our side, the left is putting up blatant socialists, so candidate quality would be better on our side. Do I think we're going to have a better ground game? I do. I think that a lot of people are starting to embrace what we do with the absentee ballot, chase early vote. But I think the thing that is concerning me right now with the House is some of the dynamics where I have been trying to beat the drum with the West Wing. Domestic, Domestic. Domestic economy. Economy, economy. Affordability. Affordability. And I think that the Trump administration really needs to bear down on the domestic issues between now and November 3rd. So if you were to ask me right now, I think we've got a legitimate shot of keeping the House. Do I think we'll lose seats? Probably. But the other dynamic, too, I'll tell you, Vince, is this. We won the redistricting wars.
Co-host/Interviewer
Yes.
Ned Ryan
I don't know if you saw the Cook Report that pulled together all the different things, you know, dynamics. I think we have 215 safe Republican seats. I think they're at 209, which leaves 11. True. Toss up seats. I'll Take those dynamics any day. Right. We only need to win three of those toss ups to keep the majority. And victory to me, Vince is holding the House by one seat.
Misfit Patriot
So.
Vince
And that means the dynamics are resources. You concentrate resources in these 11 districts.
Digital Reporter Trace
Exactly.
Vince
That includes, you know, MAGA Inc. What you, what you're involved in with American Majority. JD Vance is running a lot of the fundraising for the Trump administration.
Ned Ryan
And that's phenomenal job, by the way.
Vince
He's doing a good job.
Ned Ryan
He's doing a great job. You know, I would argue one of the reasons that the RNC at least got juiced to have the financial advantage was obviously JD has been the RNC Finance chair for the midterms. And I was talking with this chief of staff. I could make a very strong argument that JD has done a tremendous job and put them on this trajectory because of all the work that he put in on the fundraising front.
Vince
Yeah. The amazing thing is if the Senate and the House stay Republican, by and large, it's not going to be because of the incumbents and their great track record. It's going to be because Democrats suck and people really do believe in the Trump agenda and they want to send backup.
Ned Ryan
Yeah. The thing that concerns me is there are a lot of Republicans in D.C. that are doing their best to somehow lose political power this fall. But I want to give people a little perspective really quick, Vince. If we can hold the house in 26 and again by one seat, that's all I want.
Vince
Right.
Ned Ryan
At a minimum, we put ourselves on a really good path for 28. I mean, one of the things I'm working on is changing the battleground map to take multiple states off that battleground map. Turn Arizona into Florida, Nevada into Florida, North Carolina into Florida. That's a longer conversation, but focused on voter registration and absentee ballot generation among mid to low propensity Republicans. If you change the battleground map by the summer of 28, you put ourselves on a really good path to keep the White House. And then it leads us to 2030, the 2030 census. If done correctly, we continue the mass deportations. We have a citizenship question. We remove the differential privacy algorithm. We actually have a legitimate director of the Census Bureau. You do all of that correctly, you could move 25 to 40 House seats and electoral votes into red states and lead to a decade or more of Republican dominance, which. That's how you get back to normal. Vince, we don't have much in common with the UN American left. And so my solution is forcing them into unconditional surrender and sending them into the political wilderness. So maybe they have a come to Jesus moment and realize socialism doesn't work.
Vince
We need to stop the election rigging. By now, by now, if you are somehow under some sort of delusion that the left doesn't rig elections, you have not been paying attention at all. I mean, if the way they rig elections includes what you just laid out. They rigged the Electoral college through this fraudulence in the census, illegal aliens populating it. They rig congressional seats in the same exact way they rig media coverage in order to obviously prejudice voters when they go to the polls. They rig the way ballots are even counted. They've got legalized ballot harvesting in a number of these Democrats. They're paying voters to vote for Karen Bass in the L. A mayoral race on skid row. It's captured on video. There's so much obvious stuff that's going on. And so in other words, fixing election rigging, it seems to me, is priority one. You talk about domestic issues, Ned Ryan. This is why we're beating Congress over the head to pass the Save America act, because we think priority one is getting back to business on elections.
Ned Ryan
Well, I was very encouraged by Harmeet Dylan's comments the other day, in which the DOJ is going to have observers in places where they think they're very. There's very sketchy behavior taking place. But you're right. I mean, I think people should be appalled by what took place in the mayoral race out in LA where they're ballot harvesting among skid row people, the Democrats, the left, and by that, I mean the same thing, have decided that they will do anything and everything to gain and retain political power. Their idea of free and fair elections, that doesn't exist. It's how do we actually win elections by whatever means possible. And so I think one of the things we've got to do is obviously the DOJ under harm meat, has been trying to get some of these blue states to clean their voter rolls. They are resisting it. I mean, dirty elections. We can talk about all the other stuff that takes place. Dirty elections. Start with dirty voter rolls. And if you're not having clean voter rolls in these states where they're sending out mail in absentee ballots to every person on the voter roll. Vince, you're flooding the zone. Some of these states, like Wisconsin, have millions of voters that are inactive. And of course, Democrats in Wisconsin are trying to actually change the laws in which they will send out an absentee ballot to every name that's on the voter rolls. They don't want to clean the voter rolls. And so it's one of the things that I think is incumbent upon the DOJ to continue down this path of Oregon and Washington state and Wisconsin, all these other states, you actually have to clean your voter rolls. If we clean the voter rolls, I think you start to see our elections have a lot more integrity in the results.
Vince
Yeah, no, that's right. And this is also, by the way, one of the other features of the Save America Act. It would purge non citizens at scale. That's little discussed, but that is a major feature of the Save America Act.
Ned Ryan
And the reason that I point out and we're talking about non citizens, first of all, there's a lot more noncitizens that vote in our elections than people want to admit. There's been academic studies on it. But it does lead to political power. I mean, this is the one of the things where when I mentioned the 2030 census, the mass deportations have to continue because political power based off apportionment is one of the reasons that Democrats want mass immigration. Because guess what? In 2020, there were plenty of non citizens counted in the census for apportionment reasons. Not only on the House votes, House seats, electoral votes. It was two point, I think it was 2.7 trillion federal dollars were distributed based off the bogus 2020 census number. So there's a lot of, lot of things that take place for political power and money based off the census.
Vince
Yes.
Ned Ryan
And when you're including the non citizens, it leads to absolutely corrupt numbers.
Vince
Yeah. It's also destructive to jobs and housing prices, communities and peace. It's really disgusting, all of it. One, one more headline for you this morning. Perhaps. I don't know if you've seen this, fellas. If you could cut to my screen here. I've got a political report this morning on this subject. President Trump has just ousted a bunch of members of the bipartisan Election Commission ahead of the midterms. Politico reports he just got a great Supreme Court judgment that said, of course, the president's allowed to fire these commission members, so he is firing them. President Trump has ousted the remaining commissioners from a bipartisan federal agency charged with helping state and local officials conduct elections. In an apparent move to assert control over voting ahead of the midterms. What a scam by Politico. In their lead paragraph, the president removed the two Democrat members of the Election Assistance Commission on Thursday while a Republican was allowed to resign. According to a White House official and three other people familiar with the dismissals, the White House's move leaves the commission, which was created by Congress in 2002, without any leaders heading into the midterms. Now, Ned Ryan, is President Trump involving himself in this because he's trying to rig the election, or is it something else?
Ned Ryan
It's to get back to free and fair elections. Every time I hear bipartisan, by the way, Vince, I think a committee that is giving the false impression that somehow it's even handed, when in fact is probably staffed with partisan Democrats, hard left Democrats who are intent on pushing their agenda and milquetoast Republicans. So when everybody says bipartisan, I immediately dismiss it as being a legitimate action trying to get to the free and fair elections that we want. So that is the goal of the Trump administration. And again, you're going to have the harpies in the corporate propaganda screaming bloody murder. But again, they're just a, they're a propaganda arm of the left. The point is to get back to free and fair elections that the American people writ large, by the way, both sides of the aisle trust and say, you know what, we might not have won this, but we know that these elections are fair and we can abide by the results. And that is one thing, Vince, again, it's one of the basis of the republic where you have transfer, you know, peaceful transfer of power. If you can't trust the elections, it calls into question that peaceful transfer of power. We have to get back to where both sides actually trust the results and say, you know what, we might have lost, but we can trust the results.
Vince
Absolutely. Key, key ingredient for stability. Anybody who's ever run a household knows that trust is the way that you get things calm. Okay, one more for you. Just on the, on the elections this year. Graham Platner has just been drummed out of the race by his own party. They, they put the knife to him. You and I both knew for many months that he was a scumbag, but the Democrats finally acknowledged it the moment they realized there's no chance he was going to win this race. So that's why they gave him the heave hug. But interestingly, Platner hasn't actually filed his paperwork yet, Ned, as much as he announced it this week, he hasn't filed his paperwork. Axios reports that he may not file until Monday. That's the drop dead date. This, this is giving Democrats a lot of heartburn that they're not even admitting right now.
Ned Ryan
First of all, they're soulless. The left's one moral code, if you even called that is, you know, they're precious as political power. Graham Platner was just a tool that they thought they could use to achieve another Senate seat and beat Susan Collins. And then they realize, wait a minute, maybe this dude with the Nazi tattoo who's got all kinds of issues might not be the best candidate again. Very convenient, too, by the way, Vince, that right around where they started throwing the, you know, these accusations out. Susan Collins releases a poll showing her up by four. I remind people in 2020, she was down by astronomical figures and then ends up winning. So if she's up by 4 in the summer, the odds of her winning are really, really good. But, you know, Democrats in D.C. and again, I would say mostly across this country, have become soulless creatures, twisted, corrupt creatures whose only pursuit is political power. But I'll make this last point, too. Again, I'm cracking up. The reason I was cracking up. The most undemocratic thing in American politics today is a Democratic primary because it's kind of like, well, we know the people voted for this guy, but we're not really happy with the results. So a small group of us are going to decide who the actual candidate is. So screw that whole idea of representative democracy and voting. We'll take it from here and try and get a better candidate that will help us get that political power we want. But it cracks me up, just the hypocrisy and the soulless nature that is taking place inside the Democratic power. But I hope they. I hope they tear themselves to shreds. I. I hope the. The hard left fully takes over from this, you know, D.C. establishment. I hope there's a bloody civil war. I hope they, you know, are. Are involved in a civil war that actually weakens them going into the midterm. So I. I hope somehow we can pour, you know, jet fuel on this whole situation to really acerbate the differences between the left and the. The dying grasps.
Co-host/Interviewer
Yeah.
Vince
Of the DC establishment planner on Monday, he kamikaze the party on that or yesterday, two days ago. Now, in that statement, he straight up was like, it's the establishment. They destroyed me. They decided. They pulled out the rug from under me. They gave me no resources. They cut me off entirely. They're the bad guys. All right, good. Let them fight.
Ned Ryan
Yeah.
Vince
Let go for it.
Ned Ryan
Just. I hope you die a death of a thousand cuts, political cuts. Just so we're very clear on this,
Vince
figuratively speaking, we're not the left. They're the assassins.
Ned Ryan
Yeah, they're. They're the violent ones. But I think, you know, you're looking at something that's going to accelerate in its rhetoric and the hatred between these two factions inside the Democratic Party because they realize, I mean, the left's on the rise. I think in some ways we'll see them fully take over the Democratic Party, the D.C. establishments holding on, grasping to that power still. But that's again, one of those dynamics where you asked me about the midterms. I think this is one of those things where even if some of the dynamics that I hope are in our favor in regards to narrative and economy and all that.
Vince
Yes.
Ned Ryan
Never underestimate the left's ability to to light themselves on fire, literally, in some case.
Vince
Ned, thank you very much, brother.
Ned Ryan
Thanks, Vince. I appreciate it.
