I love fatty 15. You know, there was a groundbreaking discovery that helps all of us age healthier and it's thanks to helping dolphins, if you can believe it. Yeah, it came from dolphin science. Yeah, the discovery is C15 from Fatty 15 is the first emerging essential fatty acid that's been discovered in more than 90. Studies show that when we don't get enough C15 our cells actually become fragile and then they age faster. Who wants that? You don't want that. To address this, doctors spent more than a decade developing a pure science backed C15 found in fatty 15 which helps repair cellular damage. It helps support sleep quality, cognitive health, metabolism and steady energy. And since I added fatty 15 to my routine, I've noticed deeper sleep, more more consistent energy. Fundamentally I feel better. Fatty 15 was developed to support healthy aging for all from kids to parents to grandparents. This is why award winning fatty 15 is now available. Just, just, just getting to China. We're talking about this, you know, he, he had this, this trip we've known about for a while and finally arriving. And as the president goes, he's going to be meeting with Xi Jinping the, the Chinese leader. And, you know, they got the Chinese Communist Party who runs the operation over there. They're rolling out the Chinese Communist red carpet for President Trump to, to welcome him to the country. But the stakes of this meeting are pretty high. I mean, there's a lot, of course, to deal with. Naturally, China has been an immense adversary to the United States while simultaneously being deeply intertwined with American business over these last decades. And that has come in many cases at our detriment, really has, you know, this idea many years ago that if we just opened up our business relationship with China dramatically, that somehow it would make China into more of a capitalist country that they would adopt the United States Constitution, that it would be some. Some beacon of liberty in the Far East. Yeah, none of that happened. None of that happened. Instead, in a lot of. A lot of ways, China bled American jobs dry and simultaneously helped make America a little bit more communist. Actually, we. We ingested a lot of the Chinese garbage, and. And it didn't exactly go in the other direction. Now, I'm not saying China doesn't have its problems. It has immense problems that they've got to figure out because they've got a crazy huge population, a lot of, you know, restless dudes running around their country. And. And. And not a lot of, you know, it's not a lot of flourishing going on in China under a communist system. They've all got all sorts of problems to handle. But the last thing we need is a country to import their insanity here. We need to continue to be the beacon of liberty for the planet and not. And take care of American citizens, most fundamentally, not become more communist, not become more Chinese. So the President headed over there, obviously, the fentanyl crisis, very much top of mind for this President. They've done a lot to shut down a lot of the fentanyl inflows into the country by half. They've decreased them by more than half of the amount of fentanyl that's flowing in. That's a big deal, especially when drug overdoses have been killing over 100,000Americans a year. Where's that all coming from? China. China's sending the precursors over. China's funding all of the encrypted apps with the cartels. China is giving all of this equipment to the cartels at cost. China, which is pretty enthusiastically killing American citizens using the fentanyl crisis, has been pretty sinister, obviously, in that effort. So that's gonna be right there at the top of the list of things to deal with when it comes to China. And the other piece, and probably the most important thing for the President at this moment is Iran. It's Iran. So the President's gonna meet with Xi Jinping and talk about Iran. Now, you may think if you were, you know, born yesterday, you may think to yourself, vince, what does China have to do with Iran? Why would the President be talking to China about Iran? They're. They're pretty far away. Yeah. Okay. China gets all of its energy, not all, but quite a bit of it, through the Strait of Hormuz. They get a lot of energy through the Strait of Hormuz. In fact, their interest in seeing the Iran conflict come to a conclusion is pretty immense because nearly 50% of China's crude oil imports flow through the Strait of Hormuz. So China has every incentive in the world to try and place pressure on Iran to get to the table, to get to a deal. And we've seen. I've talked about this with you in the past. We've seen some evidence that China has been quietly working behind the scenes to try and nudge Iran in the direction of making a deal. Because China wants access to energy in order for a country to survive. You need energy. We know this very well. China knows this very well. You need energy. And if this is being hamstrung right now by the fact that the Iranians are acting like psychopaths and shutting down the Strait of Hormuz, that's a huge issue. Huge issue. So 50% of the crude oil for China flows through the Strait. 90% of Iran's oil exports go to China. 90% of Iran's exports. So China again has an immense interest here. And President Trump, one of the second order effects of all of the conflicts that he's engaged in here, specifically as he goes in and he grabs Maduro, gets the illegitimate leader out of Venezuela, and then confronts Iran for its nuclear program and shuts down their ports with the blockade. Well, the effect of that has been that we've been kicking out China's power cords all around the planet. They're illicit power cords. They're black market power cords. Venezuela has accounted for approximately 4.2% of China's oil imports. That's a small number as far as a percentage goes. But when you're dealing with a country of billions of people, that's a lot of energy that suddenly disappears because we're not playing that game anymore, homie. Don't play that. Trump. Don't play that. Trump got rid of that. And then, of course, Iran accounts specifically for 12.1% of China's crude oil imports. So again, that gets cut off. That's a massive deal. You're looking at upwards of 16 and a half percent of their oil imports suddenly disappearing because they can't buy it the same way they used to, or at least they can't buy it as a black market commodity. So China, lots of pressure here. So part of this conversation, clearly you and I don't have to be a part of the planning session to know this. President Trump and Xi Jinping are going to sit down. They're going to talk about ending the conflict in Iran, and the President's going to pressure China on two fronts. One, get your boys to the table. You've been funding this whole terror regime. China, if you're buying 90% of their primary export, which they are, then you're funding all of the terrorism that Iran is responsible for. China's been doing that. They have been. So that gives them leverage. If the Iranian regime is dependent on Chinese money to operate, then China's got all the leverage in the world over Iran. So that's, that's item one and the most important, get them to the table, get them to make a deal. What kind of deal? Open up the strait, which of course China wants. And get rid of the nukes. Get rid of the nukes, hand over all the enriched uranium. So the President's going to bring pressure to bear on Xi Jinping? That's the idea. The other thing we want from China, which the President seems to keep indicating on Iran, seems to keep indicating is occurring, is stopping Chinese weapon sales or Chinese weapon donations, whatever this is. Military assistance to the Iranians throughout the conflict. In the early days at least, we saw a lot of crappy Chinese military technology being used in Iran. And we say crappy because it's not working. They're firing off all these ridiculous Chinese missiles and Chinese weapons. And American forces have been easily shooting these things down. They've either missing or they're just being shot down easily. So there's an upside here. If you're just kind of assessing the military strength of the United States versus China. China's making Temu crap and then throwing it out on the battlefield and it ain't working that well. But it doesn't matter regardless, I don't care if you're sending a crappy weapon towards our troops or an effective one. If you send weapons towards our troops, we've got a problem, an immense one. So the President very early in this conflict said, knock it off. Any country that continues to provide this kind of military support to Iran is going to suffer by way of tariffs. He leveled that threat early in this conflict that apparently had some impact on slowing down China's contributions to Iran. So that again, that'll be a part of the conversation too, stopping the nonsense and, and, and getting a run to the negotiating table for real, for a real deal. So pay attention for that. The other, one of the other big elements here as the President heads off to China, is he's not going by himself. Now, clearly, of course, he's got the Secret Service with him. He's got all these various cabinet level officials, the Secretary of State, he's got all these people who are with him, who are part of his administration. But the interesting addition to this saga is that he's bringing the CEOs of many. Most of America's biggest corporations are with him right now, and that includes Tim Apple. Tim Apple. Tim Cook of Apple. I can't believe I said Tim Apple. You know why I said Tim Apple? Because I'm reading for President Trump's Truth Social post on this subject. He refers to Tim Cook is Tim Apple. It's one of my favorite nicknames. I love it. Here is what President Trump about said about this on Truth Social. He said, CNBC is incorrectly reporting that the great Jensen Huang of Nvidia was not invited to the incredible gathering of the world's greatest businessmen and women proudly going to China. In actuality, Jensen is currently on Air Force One. He's currently on Air Force One. And unless I ask him to leave, which is highly unlikely, CNBC's reporting is incorrect or as they say in politics, fake news. It's an honor to have Jensen Elon. Tim Apple. That's so funny. You know what's funny? I didn't realize I was going through my notes. I didn't even see that until I'm reading it out to you here on the program. He calls him Tim Apple in this post. Cracks me up. Larry Fink, Stephen Schwarzman, Kelly Ortberg. That's of Boeing. Brian Sykes of Cargill, Jane Frazier of Citibank, Larry Culp of GE Aerospace, David Solomon of Goldman Sachs, Sanjay Marotora. Is that right? Mehratra of Micron, Cristiano Amon of Qualcomm and many others journeying to the great country of China, while we asking President Xi, a leader of extraordinary distinction, to, quote, open up China so that these brilliant people can work their magic and help bring the People's Republic to an even higher level. In fact, I promise that when we are together, which will be in a matter of hours, I will make that my very first request. I've never seen or heard any idea that would be more beneficial to our incredible countries. President Donald J. Trump. Okay, so he's bringing all of these American CEOs. You know, we're talking trillions and trillions and trillion dollars of market cap, all traveling with him flying on Air Force One. That's a very valuable airplane right now and arriving in China with the goal of, quote, opening up China. Opening up China. Now, what does this mean for us? Well, this is interesting because opening up China, you know, China right now is a. Is, you know, they're a walled off Economy. It's a walled off communist system. They do a lot to prevent American businesses from operating inside of China. Now it doesn't go the other way in the United States. All sorts of Chinese businesses and Chinese sourced materials are constantly flowing into the United States. We have a wide open market. The Chinese market is very closed. It's a communist market. And they don't easily allow American businesses into that market with billions of people and a lot, basically, in other words, a lot of people to sell product to. And one of the things that the United States and industry in the United States has been pushing for, for years is more access to the Chinese market. They want that. Now. It makes sense for the bottom line. It makes sense for investors in the United States who would be further enriched by those companies succeeding in that space. But how much does it make sense for the average American? To what extent does this work to our benefit? Now, clearly what the President is trying to do is attract much more American industry success. That's what he wants. He just wants to be able to sell a ton of American products in other countries in a massive market like China. That's the positive feature of, of this conversation. But there is a cost to opening up China, to doing business in such a way that China allows you into their market. We've seen this before. We, we know what that means. And so what does that look like? Well, as somebody points out in the chat here, Tantanka Dave says, Vince, opening up China means more American corporations will set up shop in China. Fewer jobs here. Yeah, no, we've seen that. That's already been the case for certainly this century, since Washington very obediently decided to open up to China and then sent a bunch of American jobs overseas, never to come back to the United States of America. It's been totally destructive. So clearly one of the things you would assume is on the President's mind as he talks about this is how do we help American jobs? That's, that's a huge and probably the most important element. There's also the, the risk of losing intellectual property. It's an open secret, is that, it's not even a secret, it's just open that China, the Communist Party, steals American technology. They steal everybody's technology. They steal everybody's intellectual property. Chuck Grassley just had a report about this, Senator Chuck Grassley in April of this year. Chuck Grassley, this is from the Judiciary Committee in the Senate, sounds the alarm on Chinese theft of American intellectual property. American intellectual property. And he says in this post, you know, we're here today because hostile countries, particularly China, have been succeeding at copying and stealing our patents and trade secrets, pirating our movies and video games and endangering our lives by sending us dangerous counterfeits. China steals more US intellectual property than any other country by far. It's estimated that China steals between you ready $400 billion and $600 billion of IP each year, or about $5,000 per American taxpayer. Per American taxpayer. So this is like the Somali migrant fraud on steroids. This is China's taking it to a whole nother level. The theft of nearly half a trillion dollars a year of intellectual property at a cost to Americans of nearly $5,000 per American taxpayer. Hmm. Okay, okay, so that's the current state of affairs. I mean, he's obviously saying it's $5,000 per American taxpayer of stolen IP, but again, it comes at the expense of our economy. Americans are hurt by that theft. So that's a massive, massive deal. So any conversation about opening up China would have to preclude the never ending theft that China keeps doing. An American company sets up shop in China, they start manufacturing items in China. China carbon copies the whole process, steals all the technology, and then begins selling its own version of it at the expense of the American companies who own the intellectual property to begin with. That's the cost. So while Americans are getting screwed over in the labor conversation, China is further screwing over the companies who decide to go there to underbid for labor by stealing their ip. Because in a lot of cases, these companies are looking for short term gains and they're building in this reality that, yeah, our IP is going to be stolen by the Chinese and we're going to have to move on to something else in the future. It's crazy. It's totally crazy. And so the president, you know, again, this is just in the world of things that you assume he's gotta be thinking about, this has to be one of them. This has to be. And then there's a cultural cost to business with China, an immense cultural cost where in the more we intertwine and entangle with China, the more it comes at the expense of American culture. For real. The details on that in just a moment. I wanna take you through the history here and the kinds of ridiculous contortions American companies have had to make just to gain access to the Chinese market. So we'll discuss that and so much more all ahead on this edition of Vince. Today I'm powered up by blackout coffee. It's good stuff. But when we send our stuff to China, at what expense? What does it cost us? Well, the other piece of this again is cultural stuff. And I want to remind you of the saga that Hollywood has been through. Hollywood, way, way back in the last century, in the 1900s, there was a movie called Seven Years in Tibet. It was starring Brad Pitt. Do you remember this chat? Anybody remember that movie? I remember Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt, 1997. A movie called Seven Years in Tibet. And it's basically, it's about Chinese aggression. It's about. The movie's about the, the aggression of the Chinese and the Chinese communists. And so the movie comes out in 1997. You don't have to have seen it, you just have to be aware that it existed. Yeah, There you go. April 25th gets the message. And some people saw it. Nancy. Nancy D. Saw it. Yeah. Good movie. Okay, so here's what happened after that movie came out. China banished Columbia Tristar, the production company that made it, from being allowed to make any, to have any of their movies appear in China for a five year period. Five years. It was a warning shot to Hollywood. After that slapdown of that movie by the Chinese market, the Chinese communist market, Hollywood stopped Making movies that in any way depicted Chinese communism as the bad guy. Never again. No more movies critical of China. No major motion pictures to that effect. All of the movie studios shut that down. So wait a second, hold on. So Americans don't get to see films like this? That American culture is not. I mean, you know, this. I mean, this is one of the effects. I know we often will make fun of the stupidity of Hollywood, but the truth is that art that Americans consume often forms their attitudes about our culture. Right. So, you know, when you're seeing movies, you see Indiana Jones, you know, fighting the Nazis, it does give you an impression of. Of how to think about these things. I mean, you know, it's just. It has an impact on American culture. Clearly, all the movies confronting the Soviets in the midst of the Cold War, it has an impact on American culture. If Hollywood shuts down an entire line of critique of on dastardly behavior by the Chinese Communist Party, well, then it creates a form of mind control in the United States. It precludes Americans from thinking clearly about these obvious issues that have clear moral boundaries that are being obscured. So it's kind of a big deal, actually, where all of a sudden where we said, oh, we're gonna make them more capitalist. No, the inverse has occurred. Now we have communist censorship in the United States by compliant Hollywood studios who don't want to offend China. And that's been the pattern this entire century. We've watched over and over and over as Hollywood has done backflips for China. Do you remember when Disney remade its Mulan movie? You remember this? They remade it as a live action film. It took years to do it. And the reason it took years is because Disney was trying to secure distribution rights in China and they did backflips to let China dictate the way this would all go down. This was a piece back in 2020 on the subject how Disney enlisted Mulan, a $200 million folktale to court China. Yeah. So not wanting to to be blocked from China, Disney made a bunch of efforts to ensure its newest adaptation of the centuries old folk tale would resonate with Chinese moviegoers. The company postponed releasing the film for more than a year to wait for the actress that executives wanted for the lead role and worked closely with China's communist government, all the while striving to present a main character and storyline that was faithful to Chinese Communist Party values. Producers cast the role in late 2016. They reviewed more than 1,000 women from six continents. They settled on a 33 year old Chinese American star who called Liu Yifei, who is a cherished household name in Communist China. So, again, an American movie studio, Disney, is doing all these contortions they're kowtowing to China to avoid controversy and guarantee a China release. Disney shared the script with Chinese authorities while consulting with local advisors input from China's film Board, including cautioning against focusing on. On a particular Chinese dynasty. According to people familiar with the matter, the new Mulan film hammered home the values of family and community. At the same time, it also nodded to contemporary sensibilities about gender, rather than Mulan's fellow soldiers discovering she's a woman by accident, the way Disney handled the issue in 1998 in its animated film. In this version, the main character demonstrates agency by deciding when and how to make the revelation. So in other words, Disney just said, whatever you want, we'll do it. And if I remember correctly, they actually also filmed part of this in the Xinjiang province of China, where the Uyghur population is being enslaved and genocided by the Chinese. And then they thank the province for the pleasure. Thank you so much for letting us film here. It's insanity. It was totally. It was total insanity. And. And then. And then there was Apple. You know, Apple Tim, Apple, Apple plus, their streaming services have been refusing to make content that criticizes China. We found out back in. In 2020 as well that a senior vice president for Internet software and services, a guy called Eddie Q. This was reported at the time by the New York Times, told partners that the two things we will never do are hardcore nudity and China. Hardcore nudity and China. So in other words, critiquing China is basically pornography. And we're not doing that over at Apple. We're not doing that. So I just want to tell you, as we send all these CEOs over, as President Trump brings them with him, are there potential dramatic sort of investment into the United States upsides that could come from this? Yeah, for sure, which is why President Trump is doing it. He's clearly, as he says, he wants to open up that market. He's clearly trying to generate a lot more revenue for American business, which in some sense will redound to all of our benefit. But at what cost? What cost comes from this? Do we lose more American jobs? That's not a good outcome. That's the worst outcome. Do we lose American culture more meaningfully? That's a terrible outcome. Do we ingest more totalitarian communist values into the United States? The kind of values that are already leading us down a path of destruction. That's a horrific outcome. So as this team handles these high stakes issues, these are the things that should be top of mind, that should be front and center in these conversations. How do we generate a benefit for the United States without the obvious costs that we have endured this very century? Something to think about. Something to think about. All right. More ahead on this edition. Events. We've got, we've got a lot to get to. We have so much as always to get to. I'll try and fit it all in today. You know who's not sleeping well right now? Tennessee Democrats. Tennessee Democrats are restless. They're going crazy. They're going absolutely crazy. They've been going crazy, which is. Which is super fun. Just, just last week, Tennessee decided to get rid of one of the racist districts in the United States at the behest of the United States Supreme Court, which ruled that racially drawn districts are unconstitutional. No more racial prejudice in districting in the United States, which is how Democrats have been trying to derive power now for a while. And so unearned power. So the state legislature redrew the maps. Now, it wasn't without hysteria. The left went apoplectic. They went crazy. Take a look. This was some of the chaos in the Tennessee Capitol last week. All Democrats being chaotic.

This is Justin Pearson. This is this. This is the silly child who. Remember, he was an overachiever in college and then he became like a play acting civil rights activist. And I'M running for president of bsg. There are a few reasons that we're running this campaign this year. One has to do with representation. How can we represent all voices in a conversation? I wanted to do this by partnering with organizations from the Bowdoin Democrats to the Bowdoin Republicans. I want to bring together different voices, dissenting voices, voices that may be more liberal or more conservative, in order that we can reach a point of sort of the radical middle here.

You've had three strike laws, mass incarceration denied us of who we are, and we are still here. And today you will take the only majority black district from us. But I want you to know, and I want my nephew, sons and the future to know, no matter what you do, no matter how much you try and break us and make us bend and make us quit, we will still be here.
Vince
G. I'm sorry, I. Did he just say gay? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what. I didn't know what else to say. It's so funny. It is so funny to me. So silly. God. God. Anyway, that guy's freaking out. He's freaking out. He was yelling at the. The cops last week too. He was yelling at the cops. He was getting in their faces. This like twig of a dude screaming in the faces of these poor Tennessee state troopers who are just there to protect lawmakers. They're literally there to protect order. Look at him. Is that. Are you serious right now? Gosh. That was Justin Pearson on rumble.com. vince, we've got. Oh my. Come on. All right, let me. Can I. Dude, let's see here. Is it. How does it. How do you nail it? Is that the move right there? Is that. Is that it right there? He's such a whack job. Oh my gosh. He's dancing. What is it that. He was dancing in a church, right?
Commentator/Co-host
Oh yeah. He has to pee.
Vince
That's right. We live. I know I see a lot of mutlies in our chat right now. We. We live in such a stupid time, don't we? That it's just. It's just so great in a way. It's great in a. In a. In so far as it brings me immense joy. It brings me so much amusement. And right now it's bringing me schadenfreude. Actually, forget him. Yelling at the officers. The guy's whack job. Well, you've seen that video. One more. One more. Damnit, guy. For you. And here. And then we'll get to the schadenfreude here Is Justin Jones, another state lawmaker, burning? Was he burning an American flag? What was he burning? Show me. Oh, he's burning a Confederate flag, but right in the middle of the capital lighting a fire. He's a state legislator. Yeah, so a bunch of arsonist whack jobs. Here's the. Here's the great story. You ready? You ready for the great news? Every one of those Democrats was just kicked off of all their committees. All of them? All of them. The Democrats all got booted off their committees. Sean Davis, the excellent Shaun Davis with this summary breaking. Notice has just been given to Democrats in the Tennessee House that all members of the Democrat caucus are being removed from all standing committees and subcommittees as a result of their behavior in the state House during the redistricting debates last week, which included setting fires inside of the Capitol and attacking law enforcement in the state of Tennessee. Political terrorism will not be tolerated. National Republicans take note. This is how you exercise power is Shaun Davis point. And look here. You can even see it. You've got it says. Dear Leader Camper, can we pull this up? Here we go. Dear Leader Camper, due to actions taken by members of the Democrat caucus during the second extraordinary session of the 114th General assembly aimed at disrupting the Democratic and legislative processes and creating disorder on the House floor, including, but not limited to, interlocking arms in the well of the House, blocking aisles on the House floor, instigating and encouraging disruptions of the legislative process in coordination with paid protesters and attendees in the gallery, including the distribution of earplugs to a member of your caucus, the use of prohibited props and noisemakers on the House floor, demonstrating a lack of respect toward fellow members, seeking recognition, recognition to speak on legislation, and flagrant disregard for the permanent rules of the order of the House, members of the Democratic caucus will receive individual letters removing them from all standing committees and subcommittees of the House, except where membership is required pursuant to Rule 65 of the House Rules. Sincerely, Cameron Sexton, Tennessee speaker of the House, ladies and gentlemen. Yes. Yes. This is it. This is what?
Commentator/Co-host
Come on now.
Vince
Do the Justin Pearson. Come on. Give me some Justin on screen. I want to see some Justin. Where's he at? Where's he at? This is it. This is it. Come on, Justin, dance with me, buddy.
Commentator/Co-host
Come on, buddy.
Vince
This is. You guys spend a lot more time working on your dance moves now that you don't have a committee assignment. Yeah, baby, yeah. This is. Hello. This is obviously what needs to happen. This is obviously. These are consequences. You act like psychopaths. You deserve the consequences. Would you let your kids do this? Just go absolutely ape, Destroy everything? You found out your child was acting like this at school. What would you do about it? Yeah, you're grounded for the next year. You're on lockdown. Every privilege gets taken away. You act like a lunatic. You reflect that poorly on this family. That's not happening anymore. Look at this child. He's a child.
Commentator/Co-host
The fuck is wrong with you?
Vince
Look at him.
Commentator/Co-host
Stupid motherfucker.
Vince
And remember what he's standing up for. Remember, insofar as he's standing up, I don't even know that's the right expression. But, like, just remember what he's defending. He's defending a racially segregated district. He wants racial segregation to derive power for his party. And the thing that he's most angry about is that he doesn't get a rigged district to just gift wrap a congressional seat for him and his goofy looking Afro. That's what he's upset about. Like, no, stay away, dude. You don't have the temperament to be in this gig. You don't have the wisdom. You don't have the interest of the people at heart. You're a segregationist. You're trying to use segregation as a means to gain political power. Stay far away from the seat of power in Washington D.C. because the last thing we need are more people who are trying to sow division in order to derive power. Get the hell out of here, dude. So I'm glad they gave that guy the heave ho. Grab him by his whitey tighties and throw him out of those committees. Good. These are the kinds of consequences you need to impose. And again, they're just following the rules. Is it capable. Is the speaker of the House capable of doing this? Yes, he is. He did it. And we're off to the races. You want to get back on committees, act like adults. You want to stay off of them, Keep acting like children. Boom. Done. Taken care of. So Tennessee right now is an example for people everywhere. Republicans everywhere, but just decent people everywhere. If you've got the authority to impose consequences on rule breakers, then impose them to prevent more rule breaking. It's pretty straightforward. Now, having. Having said all that, this. This is obviously a sign for Washington. So, like, what's, you know, is Washington gonna get. Pick up any lessons here? Well, judging based on John Thune's performance yesterday, so far, the answer is no. Now, are there people in D.C. who are looking at this and going, man, that's a great move. We should do that too? Yeah, of Course, but John Thune's not one of them. And that matters a lot because he's the leader of the Republicans in the United States Senate and he's the primary impediment right now to us getting the Save America Act. And the reason I know that is because he hasn't once given us a detailed representation of his efforts to pass it. He just keeps talking about like, well, we started a debate, we had people stand on the floor. That's not enough. That's not enough. How much arm twisting have you done? I need a status report from you as your parole officer. I need you to give me an update on what you've been up to lately. Here's John Thune yesterday asked about the Save America act, giving you another head path for failing to pass it. Cut five Watch. Where do you stand on that currently? Would you reconsider getting rid of the filibuster to get it across the finish line?
John Thune
We don't have the votes to get rid of the filibuster. We did. We called it up on the floor. March, I think, 17th. We were on it for several weeks and had a very spirited debate. In fact, I actually, I think with the exception of maybe a couple of Republican senators, made more speeches on the floor in support of the SAVE act than almost any other senator. And we had some votes on it. And we voted on the narrow issue, which is the most popular one of voter id. And we put the Democrats on the record. Every single Democrat voted against it. We added. And one of the other elements also popular was whether or not biological boys ought to play in girls sports. We had that vote and every Democrat voted against that as well. So we've taken what I think are probably the two issues, in my view, that have the broader its public support and put the Democrats on record and every single one of them voted against it. So we'll look for opportunities to get other votes. There was a vote on the budget resolution, an amendment that Senator Kennedy offered that didn't even get 50 votes on the floor. And so we're continuing to look for opportunities to advance that legislation. Obviously, it's something that I support. I think we all support and we think it's something that the, the American people are broadly supportive as well.
Vince
That's a head pat. He's just trying to placate you. Pretend like he's on your side. Oh, I, I, I want it too. I do. And then, and then try and dismiss it. I mean, that he thinks I can, you can hear it in his voice. Like you can detect every element of it. He's just trying to navigate it. He's trying to, like, you know, mitigate your concern. Don't you worry. I care about this, too. If you. If you're worried about whether or not I care, I really do. I really care. But not. Not enough to actually do anything about it. Why can't we get a speaking filibuster? You know, I was talking to my brother yesterday. Anthony, love my brothers. I love my brothers. Anthony, yesterday. And he was asking me about this. He was like, what is wrong with these people? Why can't they just do the job? Like, what? Because they don't have a guaranteed outcome. They can't just go do it. Why can't they just stand up there and talk? Just debate, just do something. Why does everything need to be done by executive order? Why can't these guys actually pass a freaking law? I was just saying amen. I'm just doing the amen. I'm like, I'm with you, brother. I'm with you 100%. It doesn't have to be preordained. It doesn't have to be guaranteed. Just do it. Put in the effort. Fight for something. You know, slip in your. Put your. Slip your comfortable shoes on and stand on the floor for as long as humanly possible to achieve something for the American people. And stop dismissing us. Stop pretending like this is some frivolous concern. It is central to the future of our country. If you want to stop, I'm gonna re. Emphasize this because this is a point that I've been making for some time now, but with some emphasis big time this week. When you look at this data that shows that half of all Democrats are perfectly comfortable with the assassination of the President of the United States. When you look at data showing that nearly half of Democrats think that President Trump has faked all of his assassination attempts, what you realize is you have a deep radical base inside of one political party in the United States. The way out of that is to stop allowing people to arrive in Washington or any other major position around our country, even local positions, who are feeding lies to that base. Their leaders are lying to them. So how do you improve the quality of their leaders without being a member of their party? The answer to that is you increase the credibility of our elections. You can see on our screen, we put up the data showing that. What is it? 42% of Democrats. 42% of Democrats think that President Trump faked his own assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. This is insanity at scale. But the only reason they arrive at these conclusions is because they have deranged leaders who have ill gotten political power. They're not there by virtue of popular support. They're there because they rigged the system in such a way to get support despite the fact that that the people broadly don't want them. That's how they did it. The country, the party that calls themselves Democrats or that they're fighting for democracy or the will of the people is doing anything. But they're trying to rig the system for power. It's why they right now have 40 ill gotten seats in Congress. It's not about the people. It's about mutilating our political system until they achieve their political goals. That's it. One of the key reasons they've imported so many illegal aliens in addition to underbidding American wages with a twisted relationship with companies who are perfectly happy breaking the law in the United States. But they're doing that because they want more human bodies to create more congressional seats and more electoral college votes. That's it for a rigged system. You clean that up. John Thune, you fix this system. You pass the Save America Act. We, we get rid of the racial districting. We sort out American citizens versus illegal aliens in the United States census. We do these things. We have a rules based system. And if you have a rules based system and if the only way you can win is following the rules, then all of a sudden everybody becomes more sane who's in the political contest, then they actually have to debate real ideas. They have to speak to actual concerns of American citizens. Instead we've got this sort of demented system that leads to more radicalism that has nothing to do with the will of the American voter. Because it's rigged. That's why this is so important. Sorry. It's a distraction from you making money from whatever other corrupt interests you might have right now. But this is the most important thing to the rest of us. It is. Which is why I want to see this thing passed. Save America Act. I didn't even gavel in. I didn't even gavel in. I'm gaveling baby. Gaveling again. Here we go. A little louder. We gaveled then. All right, there we go. A retro gavel.
John Thune
It's good.
Vince
And producer Jim will keep all the meeting minutes. He was already keep. He was scribbling down furiously. I'm certain of it. Okay, let me see. I. There's. I just got to figure out where I'm going to go next. I told you about John Brennan. Then I probably should get to that. Oh, you know, actually, no, before I get to Brennan, I do have one other element here that I need to talk about with you. So Tennessee, very encouraged by Tennessee. I love what the Tennessee Republicans did. They're fighting. They're showing some testicular fortitude. They're imposing consequences on Democrats who act like emotional, incontinent children. South Carolina can't say the same thing. For those of you in South Carolina, we had, we had a thing yesterday that was disappointing. South Carolina Republicans got too squeamish to redraw their map yesterday. They had an opportunity. And by the way, the opportunities are not yet over. It could still happen. But South Carolina Republicans yesterday, in the words of the Washington Post, South Carolina Republicans block plan to eliminate Clyburn's House seat. South Carolina Republicans came through for James Clyburn yesterday. James Clyburn, who, if memory serves correctly, was involved in hand picking President Otto Penn in order to destroy the country. So thanks, Clyburn. Thanks a lot for that, buddy. Republicans in South Carolina's legislature Tuesday rejected a plan aimed at flipping the state's lone Democrat held House seat, which has long been occupied by one of the country's most senior and influential black leaders. They capitalized the word black patronizingly. The Washington Post does. The rejection was a victory, at least for now, for Representative James E. Clyburn, the Democrat whose seat was at risk and a setback for President Trump. The president has persuaded Republicans in other states to redraw their congressional maps to boost the party's chances of hanging onto its slim House majority. Now the answer is to retake nearly 40 seats that have been stolen nationwide by Democrats. Boy, imagine if we had a real news media. Imagine, just imagine if they could properly contextualize the things that were transpiring in their own country. South Carolina Republicans decided not to redraw their map after a Republican leader warned it could backfire. Republicans right now hold six of the state's seven congressional seats. But State Senate Majority Leader Shane Massie, a Shane Massie, argued that a new map would spread out Republicans core voters so much they could wind up with five. Now, if that's the case, if this is a certainty, then you're going to look at this and go, okay, well, maybe there was some wisdom here. Possible. And I'll be one of the first to admit I'm not deep enough on South Carolina politics to know whether or not that assessment is correct. But if this would have resulted in the loss of Republican seat, then you can see why that would be a reasonable hedge. But here's what I do know. The president of the United States was encouraging them to move on this and presumably the president and his political team would have the math done on this, too, and they would be of the belief that this would not redound to the benefits of the Democrats who've been stealing seats nationwide and James Clyburn, for that matter. Here's what the president said in the hours before South Carolina State Senate did this. It was yet two days ago. Now, South Carolina state Senate has a big vote tomorrow on redistricting. I'm watching closely along with all Republicans across the country who are counting on their elected leaders to use every legal and constitutional authority they have to stop the radical left Democrats from destroying our country. South Carolina Republicans, be bold and courageous, said the president, just like the Republicans of the great state of Tennessee were last week. Move the U.S. house primaries to August, leave the rest on the same schedule. Everything will be fine. Get it done. President DONALD J. Trump so here the president said, look, I assess this. He's got his team is assessing it. We're good to go. Fire, fire when ready. Well, South Carolina wasn't ready yesterday and so keep your eyes on South Carolina. Curious to see whether or not we're going to have kind of an Indiana situation where we're going to have more people to take out of office because they failed to do the right thing at the right moment, which we need a lot more of in the United States. Take a lesson from Tennessee. Those guys knew what they were doing and they did it very well. They got rid of a racist district and Democrats lost power. It's as easy as it gets. All right. One more big thing for you today before we, before we have to go. And we've got, of course, the big national radio show coming up today as we do each day, the VIN Show. You can check out your local radio listings, the vinshow.com but first, I want to tell you about John Brennan, the former CIA director. We just got some meaningful updates on what's going on with the grand conspiracy case involving Brennan. Apparently, a bunch of current and former CIA officials are being interviewed as we speak about their knowledge of John Brennan's shenanigans. Reuters with the report exclusive FBI questions CIA officers over Russia Assessment in Brennan probe sources say trying to pull this up for you. I'm having difficulty with the link, though. This is, this is basically, we already had heard from Brennan earlier this week that he was complaining over on Ms. Now that he is being investigated here and as a result, you know, then in the next 24 hours. We just got this update, which I'm pulling up for you, which is why I'm staggering a little bit as I, as I do this. I had the wrong link, basically. A bunch of CIA officials are now being questioned by the FBI. Cash Patel's team at the FBI has dispatched over to the CIA, and now they're talking to everybody, people who would know about this. I'll just quote from the Reuters report. I've got some of this here for you. The FBI has begun interviewing current and former CIA employees as part of the Department of Justice's investigation into ex CIA Director John Brennan over his role and an intelligence finding that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. election to help Donald Trump, according to five sources familiar with the matter. The. Okay, the lead paragraph on this is already kind of misleading you about this. The point of this was his lies related to the Steele dossier. That's the point of this. We, we know with a lot of certainty. Employees were questioned last week by agents out of the Miami field office at CIA headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Interviews are expected to continue throughout the coming weeks, three of the sources said. Three of the sources said. A source familiar with the Brennan investigation said that the FBI agents had questioned about a dozen current and former CIA officers who worked on the 2017 assessment. The current and former CIA officers are being asked about Brennan's role in producing the assessment and the extent to which its conclusions were shaped by a controversial and dossier of unverified claims about Trump's ties to Russia. Here's the thing. This is the key element, Brennan told Congress in 2023. John Brennan told Congress in a transcribed interview. In other words, there's not video of this. It's behind closed doors. In a transcribed interview, he told Congressman Jim Jordan at the time that the Steele dossier was not included in the CIA by the CIA. The CIA rejected the Steele dossier for being included in the intelligence community assessment. They thought that it should not be a part of it. We all rejected it at the CIA. That, according to the public record, is a lie. And the reason it's a lie is because John Brennan himself worked to get the Steele dossier into the entire intelligence community assessment to form the basis for the public claims, as well as to be included in that annex, in that classified annex. It was John Brennan who did that. So how is it possible that the CIA was rejecting putting it in when the CIA director was the one who was shoehorning it in? That's at the center of this. And it comes to us by way of a criminal referral that John Ratcliffe did last year. John Ratcliffe came up with this a while ago, and he said the president had trusted him. Here's the here's John ratcliffe Back in 2025, July 2nd of 2025, last year, POTUS has trusted me with helping to end weaponization of U.S. intelligence. Today's report underscores that the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment was conducted through an atypical and corrupt process under the politically charged environments of former Director Brennan and former Director Comey, James Comey, of the FBI. In other words, Brennan and Comey were the ones who were orchestrating all of this rigging in order to try and hurt Trump to stymie the incoming president of the United States and to upend the will of the American voter. That's what John Ratcliffe says, the current director of the CIA making that criminal referral. So this is a, it's a huge deal, what we're dealing with. And this gets at the core of what's going on in South Florida right now with this grand conspiracy case. And one more element that we've talked about on the show, but it's just worth reminding you about. There's a great American patriot who is now tasked with running the key elements of this grand conspiracy case down in South Florida. That's Joe DiGenova, President Trump's administration. The Justice Department just brought in Joe a couple of weeks ago. That guy is a bulldog. He's an America first patriot, loves our country, and he's in there right now. And this is why you're seeing so much public panic play out. James Comey just did another interview last night. He was on CNN last night whining about all of this. And there's a reason for that. It's because they can sense the walls and that they're closing it. All right, more on all of this coming up as we take you to the big national radio show today, the vinshow.com to get your local radio listings. You can watch us live. The show airs each day from 12 to 3 Eastern. You can watch us live on Rumble for the final two hours. That's one to three Eastern each day.
