American Air Travels travelers were absolutely getting destroyed this weekend, suffering as Senate Democrats were blocking DHS funding yet again. Total disaster here. The Senate rejected DHS funding this weekend for the fifth time. This vote just keeps coming up and Senate Democrats keep fighting back against it. Take a look here. This is what Politico had to report on the subject this weekend. Senate rejects DHS funding bill. This would be for the fifth time straight. The shutdown affects tsa, FEMA and other agencies. And now we've gone on five weeks. Five weeks as of Saturday. The Senate voting again on Friday against moving ahead with this bill. That's nearly five weeks after cash stopped flowing at the agency. It was a 4737 vote. 4737 meaning we didn't get enough as the White House attempts to negotiate with a broad range of Senate Democrats on changes in to immigration enforcement policies that they are demanding after DHS agents fatally shot two U.S. citizens in Minnesota in January. I mean, ridiculous. Politico is not even mentioning that the US Citizens were involved in either assaulting cops or interfering with the cops and blocking them. It was just madness. Absolute madness. Senate Majority Leader John Thune is already warning to expect the Senate to cancel its two week recess. That would be the Easter recess which would start at the end of next week absent a DHS deal next week. In this case is this week, at the end of this week, they're supposed to start that recess and they may not get one. In fact, I've got a lot of updates on that in just a moment. But take a look at the nation's airports this weekend. Look at Atlanta. Atlanta was out of control. This the lines stretching on for hours and hours in Atlanta, Georgia, just absolute madness here. This was at six o' clock in the morning. Matt Van Swall, our friend Matt Van Swell shared this video. For those of you watching rumble.com Vance this was a 153 minute wait time at 6 o' clock in the morning. It stretches through the baggage claim in Atlanta. Craziness. Atlanta, not the only place where this was happening. There were three hour wait times in Houston, Texas this weekend. That's at Bush International Intercontinental Airport. And then at LaGuardia this weekend, the TSA lines were stretching all the way to the parking lot, all the way to the. You people are standing outside to go through security at tsa. And this is because TSA agents are not being paid. And as a result, if you're not being paid and you can't feed your family and you're relying on food banks just to make ends meet, people are not showing up to work and instead probably going to get gigs or something that are going to pay the bills while this shutdown continues. As of the end of last week, 20% of TSA agents weren't even showing up on average nationwide to work because they're not getting paid to do it. They're not getting paid to do it. It's been absolutely crazy to watch what's going down and understand there's the core point here. And I really want to emphasize this. So it's beyond any sort of debate. Democrats are refusing to make sure that those TSA agents can get paid right now because they want to protect illegal aliens. It is as simple as that. Democrats hate immigration enforcement. They hate ice. They hate that ICE is enforcing our nation's laws and deporting illegal aliens from the country. So in order to blackmail the country into continuing to allow this, they're forcing Americans to become utterly miserable at our nation's airports. The reason people are standing in line for three hours in Atlanta or standing in line at, you know, for three hours in Houston or all the way to the parking lot in LaGuardia. The reason that's all happening is because Democrats are trying to protect illegals. So as an American citizen, you've got to stand in line and illegals get to jump it. That's the world the Democrats have created and that's the world they're trying so desperately to protect right now. It's about as disgraceful as it can possibly get. And yet it continues. And yet it continues. And these Democrats know what they're doing. Look, here's Peter Welch, Democrat Senator. Just this past week he was on C Span. He admitted that this doesn't even have anything to do with ice. ICE already has funding. It's from the big beautiful bill. The idea that ICE would somehow be defunded by this fight is just nonsense. This is designed to make Americans suffer. Watch.
C
Is there a compromise that Democrats could accept that doesn't get everything that you all are asking?
D
In all candor with. With what has happened with ice, I think it's very hard for us to come to some agreement. Okay. But that should not impede us from being able to open up the whole rest of government. The other reality is that ICE got forward funded about three years in the one big beautiful bill. So this is ironically, it's not really affecting ice.
B
It's not really even affecting ice. It's not. But Democrats still want to use it to hamstring ice. Democrats are trying to secure cuts to ICE funding. Democrats are trying to make it so that ICE agents can't wear masks anymore to protect themselves and their families. Democrats are trying to make it so that ICE agents have to wear nametags so that Democrat activists can hunt them down. That's what Democrats are fighting for right now. Democrats are trying to fight to prevent ICE agents from enforcing immigration law in public spaces, like at courthouses or other city venues or at polling places. Have you noticed how insistent Democrats are that ICE agents never go to a polling place? Of all things, why are they so obsessed with ICE agents not appearing at polling places? What's going on at polling places that deserves the attention of ice? Any chance illegal aliens are voting? We know that tens of thousands of non citizens are on the voter rolls nationwide. We know that thanks to the Justice Department. That's of course why there's a huge debate right now about the Save America act playing out. Because we want to purge the voting rolls of people who are not supposed to be there. And we want to verify that only American citizens participate in elections. Don't worry, we'll get to save America coming up in a moment. But the chaos that you're witnessing right now didn't have to happen. It's all artificially created by Democrats who are trying to protect a fraudulent system. As we speak, the President wants people to pay attention to this, to what's happening right now. He posted the Truth Social this weekend that Democrats want to give our country away to the illegals who they allowed to pour through our now very strong border. I won't allow that to happen. The Democrats are grossly incompetent. ICE is ready to go on Monday. President Donald J. Trump. Now, what does he mean, ICE is ready to go? Well, this is fun, too. ICE agents are now going to the nation's airports today to augment the Transportation Security Administration. That's right. ICE agents are going in to be backup TSA agents as of today at airports all across our country. ICE agents, as you just heard Democrat Senator Peter Welch say, are already being paid. So Democrats, you want to treat ICE like crap? Great. We're going to send ICE agents to the nation's airports and now they're going to help Americans get through in a speedy fashion while this DHS funding debate nonsense continues. The president said, fine, I've got a solution. I'll just send the guys we're already paying to do the job. The downside, of course, to that, as great as it is, that the nation's airports will become more speedy to get through again, the downside of that is now ICE agents aren't out on the street picking up illegals. So they're there does come, of course, a cost with this. So we need to get them back out as quickly as possible. But here's the president coming up with a solution that's perfectly good and it's already ticking Democrats off. They're freaking out about this. They hate it. They hate it. They're like, oh, no, Americans are going to be scared to go to the airport if ICE agents are there. What are you talking about? Americans are going to be scared. What American would be scared of that? Some, like, poor sucker who was misled by the left would be scared of it. The rest of us are enthralled. In fact, it's a great opportunity to see an ICE agent and thank them. So here's my, this is my request to you today. If you are doing any air travel this week and you happen to go to an airport where ICE agents are assisting tsa, you'll see them. They'll have badges that say ICE on them. Thank them for me. Would you, would you please extend a hand of gratitude or at least a hearty thank you to any member of ICE that you see as you travel through the nation's airports this weekend. And ICE agents, to be clear, love it. They love it. Have you Seen the reaction that ICE agents are giving to this. Check this out. Bill Malusian reached out to, he said a handful of ICE agents this weekend to gauge their reaction to President Trump putting them at airports to work. Security responses include, love it. Quote, Genius. We serve at the behest, quote, lots of illegals at airports. Quote, there's one just like a, like a face laughing with a hand over its mouth. There's another one, quote, I would actually love that. And the last one is, quote, ah, fuck. I think, I think that guy's just probably thinking about, well, got to go some work somewhere else now. I've got to off to an airport. But the lion's share of ICE agents responding here, quote, love it. Genius. There's lots of illegals at the airports. I would actually love that. That's funny. A lot of great patriots working for ice. Thank you to Bill Malusion to run these guys down, find out what they're thinking about all this. Yeah, look, the president's trying to figure out what to do. That's it. He's just trying to come up with creative solutions to make this all work. Here's Tom Holman. The borders are this weekend saying that the president is tired of this shutdown and he's tired of seeing these workers not get paid. Watch Tom Holman.
E
You know, the president made it clear that, you know, we're not going to wait. You know, he called me this morning and he's tired of waiting. American people being held hostage, you know, along lines at the airports, TSA not being paid, you know, the Coast Guard, fema, all these people, federal employees are working for free. And it's like the third time they went without pay, you know, and the president's tired of it. He's not going to let America be held hostage now. He's going to, you know, we're going to pivot from there. We're going to send ICE agents to the airport to help alleviate not only the TSA officers who overwhelmed and understaffed now because many of them left, but we're going to help the American people transit through the airport quicker and not be held hostage by this foolish shutdown that the Democrats started. I mean, this administration didn't shut the government down. It was the Democratic Party that shut it down.
B
Yes. Yep. It was Democrats who did that. Democrats did that. So here we are now, yet another weekend of misery just induced by Democrats. Remember the economy, the economic numbers, last quarter, the fourth quarter of last year, they slowed down. Remember that? Do you know why they slowed down? The Schumer shutdown. The Schumer shutdown. Economic activity that the government. Government spending assists in the GDP numbers. The reason economic activity slowed down was the Schumer shutdown. So if you noticed that so far, the Trump administration, anything that President Trump and that the. And the Republican Party, when it has its act together is responsible for, it leads to improvements in the quality of life, that the border gets secure, that illegals get deported, that the economy is improving, all of those things. But then when Democrats get involved, things get crappier. Things get crappier. When they throw a wrench into the system, things get crappier. So that's why the nation's airports are suffering right now. Crazy, crazy stuff. Wild. So let me see here. John Fetterman knows. John Fetterman knows what's going on. He's, like, the only Democrat who's even willing to admit this. So Fetterman keeps voting with Republicans to get the government back open, and here he is this weekend going, we have to pay these people. Whatever happened to Democrats being the party that supported the little guy? These TSA agents are the little guy, and they're not being supported. They what? Here's Fetterman. Cut four. Watch.
F
We used to be all Democrats, never shut our government down. I travel every. Every week, I ask, you know, agents like, hey, what's it like? They make around $50,000. You know, like, pay. Pay these people, you know, so, like, definitely their paycheck. Paycheck situation likely. No, that's Democrats. Those are. That's our people. Those kind of people we should fight for, not. Not stop paying them.
B
Yeah, that's who we should be fighting for. And instead we're screwing them, explained John Fetterman. Now, there are people who are trying to come up with solutions here in the absence of Democrats doing their jobs. That includes Elon Musk. You see what Elon offered this weekend? Elon Musk, the world's richest man, just offered to pay the salaries of TSA personnel during the funding impasse that is negatively affecting the lives of so many Americans at airports throughout the country. Wow. That was Saturday morning. Elon made that offer. We'll. We'll see to what extent that's feasible, that that can be accomplished. But here's Elon going, I'll cover it. I'll cover all their salaries for the duration of this. Now, one would assume at the end of this that maybe he could be paid back the money, because, you know, that's. That's the way this is supposed to work, that these guys are furloughed that they can get their back pay after the government shutdown is resolved. But whatever the scenario, Elon's got the cash. And he's like, look, I'm just here to help. I want to alleviate the stress here. And why is Elon doing this? Because Elon believes as sincerely as you and I do that our country needs secure borders, that needs functioning Immigration and Customs Enforcement, that we need the Save America Act. Elon is standing shoulder to shoulder with you and with me with President Trump right now fighting for the Save America Act. So he sees through this as well. And he said, hey, I'm willing to offer the cash to cover for these guys. And that, that offer John Fetterman loves. He said this is, this is incredibly generous. He wrote. He said this, this is an incredibly generous thing for Elon to do. He said TSA agents across the country are relying on food pantries and community donations right now just to get by. I remain the lone Democrat to vote with my Republican colleagues to, to fully fund DHS and get people paid. It should never come to this point. Now, by the way, as Democrats in the week ahead, I'm just going to tell you what's going to happen as this week moves forward and you'll get a better sense of it as I'm going through the next few news items. But as this week moves forward, you're going to hear a lot from Democrats blaming Republicans for the fact that TSA agents are not being paid. In fact, they were already doing it this weekend. They're all over Twitter saying horse crap like that. Oh, it's Republicans fault. It's Republicans fault. No, it's Democrats who want to stop immigration enforcement in the United States. And so they're holding TSA agents hostage to do it. When you hear that, point them at John Fetterman's tweet. Point, point everybody at this tweet that it's Democrats who are blocking this. He says I remain the lone Democrat to vote with my Republican colleagues to fully fund DHS and get people paid. He told the truth. He told the truth and that's all we care about, the truth. All right. More in a moment, including some some late breaking developments here on how things are about to get a lot more interesting and the implications for the Save America Act. I've got some big updates for you on that in just a moment. All ahead on this edition of Vince. This is a great Monday edition events, by the way. We're so loaded up with fun news to talk about. My, my poor wife doesn't have Patriot Mobile yet. We got to, we got to resolve that. And so she was able to hotspot on my phone. Beautiful. Thank you. Look at the chat. People love Patriot Mobile. It's a great operation. All right, so where are we? I should probably gavel in. I know we're getting into it now. Here we go. Ladies and gentlemen, the Save America Act. Our meeting of course producer Jim is keeping the minutes today. We're gaveled in now. So here's what I've got, here's what I've got. We have the President of the United States has now basically grabbed the Senate by the shirt collars and they've created, basically he's created an ultimatum for them that is fascinating. He wants the Save America act passed. And so yesterday he told a reporter, her name's Hannah Brandt. Here, let me share this with you. Watch this. He told Hannah Brandt the following in a phone call last night. Hannah Brandt is with. What outlet is she with? Check, check. One, two. Let's see News Nation. She's with News Nation. In a phone call just minutes ago. This was 5:51 Eastern Time last night. In a phone call just minutes ago, President Trump told me Democrats want to make a deal on DHS funding, but he doesn't, quote, think any deal should be made on this until they approve the Save America. Interesting. First, I asked him how long he's prepared to have ICE agents help out at the airports. He told me for as long as it takes. And then I asked. Some lawmakers are saying that they should just fund TSA while they negotiate on dhs. What do you think about that? President Trump said, now that I did this, the Democrats want to make a deal. And I don't think any deal should be made on this until they approve Save America. Okay, so. So you have a scoop, guys. You understand how hard the President's throwing down right now for this, for Save America. Remember how this started? Remember when, when John Thune started this whole show on the Senate floor even before it happened? I said, look, get ready, everybody. We're getting a show. He's going to. We're going to. We're getting a show. And by the end of it, we may not get Save America. It may just be to try and placate us. President Trump doesn't want a head pat. He wants results. He wants to Save America Act. And what he's detecting in the cosmos right now is that leverage is now suddenly emerging. The American people are blaming Democrats for the TSA shutdown, for the misery at the nation's airports, for the fact that TSA agents are not being paid right now. They're rightly blaming Democrats. John Fetterman is correctly blaming his colleagues, Democrats in the United States Senate, for this. And the President has detected that now Democrats are in a weird position for themselves that they created for themselves where they are suffering politically, and he's offering them a path out. You want to stop suffering? You want the American people to stop holding you accountable for your failures? Good. All right, I'm ready to play ball with you, then. Get the Save America act passed. If you do that, then we can do everything together. And here's the update from the president. So he posted to Truth Social himself last night the following details about this he said, I don't think we should make any deal, any deal with the crazy country destroying radical left Democrats unless and until they vote with Republicans to pass the Save America Act. It is far more important than anything else we are doing in the Senate. And that includes giving these same terrible people, the Democrats who are to blame for this message, a $5 billion cut in ICE funding a deal which even when disguised as something else, is unacceptable to me and the American people. Unless he writes it includes the approval of voter ID with picture citizenship to vote, no mail in voting with exceptions, all paper ballots, no men and women's sports, no transgender mutualization of our precious children. Put it all together and also let Leader Thune ready. Here's the pressure on Republicans. Let Leader Thune clearly identify those few Republicans who are voting against America. Come on, Jonathan, name names. They will never be elected again, says the president. In other words, lump everything together as one and vote. Kill the filibuster. Stay in D.C. for Easter if necessary. Make America great again. President DJT so now he's throwing down the gauntlet. Now he's saying, Democrats, you want out of this mess you've created for yourself? I've got a path. Save America. John Thune, if you can't get the Republicans to do this, we need names. Not just privately, publicly. We need names so that we can make sure that these people never get back to office again. There should be political consequences for Republicans who, who fail us on the Save America Act. Right now, this is the president doing something that is driving John Thune absolutely crazy. And here's the other update. This comes to us this morning from a news outlet called Punchbowl. It's a Washington D.C. outlet. Check this out today. Here's the headline on it. Trump to Thune, no deal with Democrats. This is this morning. And here's the news. Trump. Thune approached Trump last night. Last night with a new proposal. Thune told Trump that Senate Republicans will support funding all of DHS except for ice, the agency at the center of the bitter partisan dispute over Trump's immigration crackdown. According to senators and aides. ICE funding, any additional ICE funding is what we're. What they're talking about. Could be handled later in a party line reconciliation bill. Democrats would accept the offer. The South Dakota Republican informed the President. This is Punchbowl. So you're taking them at their word insofar as you can believe the arrangement here. But I think there's some truth baked into this. Democrats wouldn't get some of their chief demands in John Thune's offer, including banning masks for federal agents or requiring judicial warrants, which would freeze up the whole immigration system, by the way. That's what Democrats want to do. Plus, TSA agents would get their paychecks, and the security line madness at airports would end. Ladies and gentlemen, the security line madness is ending because Trump is sending ICE agents to the airports right now to relieve it. But Trump said no. According to multiple sources, the president wants Republicans to stay in D.C. and keep fighting with Democrats over DHS funding and the Save America Act. Not only that, Trump warned that he would publicly slam Senate Republicans if they left town for the upcoming Easter recess. Trump also said, allegedly, this is great, that he would invite all of the Republican senators and their families for Easter dinner at the White House. In other words, stay in town, keep working. You worried about Easter? We'll make it fancy for you. We'll have Easter at the White House. Come on by. It'll be great. Pretty nice offer, actually. Punchbowl says some Republicans took it as a threat, not as a reward. Well, it doesn't have to be. It's carrot ended stick. Which one do you want? Take the carrot. Take the carrot. It's good for Easter, too. The Easter bunny would take the carrot. You should take the carrot. And his Sunday night Truth social post, Trump made clear his position. Of course. I just shared the truth social post with you. So here's the president going now. Work through Easter. Now, the Easter thing is interesting for a million reasons, but one of them that you may be contemplating is, well, wait a second. If Republicans work through Easter and Democrats either stay home or they miserably stay in the Senate to work through Easter, too, to prevent the Republicans from advancing anything. You know, what, what, what are the dynamics here? Well, it could open up a series of interesting rule opportunities in the Senate. I'm not, I'm not a Senate rules expert, but I do know some of the basics here. And we'll, we'll keep having Rachel Bovard back on so she can talk to us about some of this. But if we go into Easter now, two weekends away, and we have not every senator available in the United States Senate, that does change some of the math on what the votes look like. So if no Democrats are there, we can pass all sorts of things through what we call unanimous consent. There's no Senate on, no Democrat on the floor to object, and chances are some Democrat will be left behind in order to try and object to unanimous consent moves that. That's probably the case because Democrats are going to try and obstruct however they can. But it will create an environment where it might be easier to secure majority votes on a bunch of things, including getting nominations through. So that's important. Now, the cloture vote, you know, the 60 vote threshold that we talk about, that would still require 60 votes under any circumstances that that isn't affected by the number of Senators who are actually present to vote 60 votes is the cloture to vote to end debate, which is super annoying. And they could, Republicans could theoretically end that with a simple majority vote, but they've shown no appetite for that. It's very unlikely that they'll do that. But the other thing that they could do is they could actually engage the speaking filibuster for real. Remember, as I've been saying for many, many months now, as we've discussed in terms of a strategy in the United States Senate, if they want to invoke the speaking filibuster and there's not that many Democrats around, then chances are they could get this going, and there are very few voices left to oppose it. They would exhaust their two speeches pretty quickly, relatively, and then we could pass the Save America Act. That might be feasible. In other words, working through Easter could create some very unique opportunities under the rules of the Senate to get things accomplished for the American people. One other component here to working through Easter, Senators hate it. They hate it. And this is what we've been talking about in particular, kind of the tyranny of exhaustion, the tyranny of forcing senators to do their jobs at the times they don't feel like doing them. If senators are like, hey, I just want to go home. I don't want to be here. I want to be home for the Easter holiday. Okay, well, then do what the American people want. Give us the Save America Act. If there's any chance to create pressure right now on both Republicans and Democrats is to threaten them with depriving them of their vacations. It could take us some distance. The President's playing hardball here, so let's stay in the fight. Let's stay in the fight with him. I love these developments overnight. I love that the President is doing this. I love that John Thune went to him and said, hey, let's. Let's make a deal with the Democrats. And Trump said, no, I want Save America. And I. And I. And I meant it when I said it in the first place. And if you don't think I'm serious, we're about to name names of all the Republicans who are standing in Our way. So either you get serious with me or you get out of the way. That's the President's position right now. Hardball. Very interesting. As the, as the President throws down. All right, one more thing for you and then we'll thank our sponsors here. Mike Lee is taking a poll of the public on this subject. He wants to know, do you want, do you want. And you can go vote in this poll right now on Mike Lee's X account. Do you want the Senate to work through Easter? And here's what he found.
G
Look at the numbers in this.
B
Look at this. Would you rather the Senate do what? Sorry? Which would you rather the Senate do for the two weeks following March 27th debate, save and DHS funding or take a two week recess? 98.7% of responses. First of all, I saw this morning as I was getting ready for the program, I talked to Josh, producer Josh each morning about who our sponsors are and I was looking at, I was like fast growing trees. Oh that's perfect. Because first of all, we had a beautiful weekend in Virginia. Just absolutely gorgeous. The trees are all starting to bloom right now and the early bloomers are up and running. A lot of the cherry blossoms are already starting to pop. We're not at peak bloom yet, but we're getting close and they're beautiful, just absolutely beautiful. But the tree that I've been looking forward to this year is the one that I got from Fast Growing Trees last year. I planted it about this time last year while it was already in bloom. It came in the box in bloom to my home. And it's, it's a, an eastern redbud. It's a, it's a redbud tree. And these are beautiful. They've these beautiful pinkish reddish buds this, at this time of the season. Coming up in the next few weeks, it'll really be beautiful. And this morning I went out to my window and I wanted to see if the tree will look good. And sure enough, the buds are forming. Super pumped about it. I know it's like the most like, whatever. It's definitely like I'm very domesticated. If I'm at the point where I'm loving the buds on the trees, fine. I admit it. I love fast growing trees. The tree looks great off the post a picture of it. I posted it last year. I'll have to post a picture on Instagram or something. The tree looks great. And that's courtesy of Fast Growing Trees. Just an amazing operation. Sorry, I'm resetting my mind. Save Act. This is driving establishment Republicans crazy. The President's throwing down, but establishment Republicans are freaking out right now. Check this out from Politico. This is about attention. Mike Lee's MAGA crusade is driving his colleagues crazy. What are you talking about about attention? This is about saving our country. Attention. You think Mike Lee needs attention? That's what this is about. This is so stupid. They say it's Politico says among online activists and some corners of the Republican Party, Mike Lee is being heralded as a MAGA champion willing to pressure his own party to embrace hardball tactics or risk political suicide. But inside the Senate, the Utahns scorched earth, hyper online methods are sparking a wave of mostly private animosity from GOP colleagues who believe his plan to push through legislation overhauling how federal elections are conducted is ill conceived and potentially harmful to the party's chances in the midterms. Potentially harmful? The midterms could be saved by this. The ability to make. Make sure our elections have integrity and that they are credible to the voters is essential for the mid. What are they even talking about? They believe he doesn't have a realistic path to passing the Save America Act. It's funny because President Trump's on his side, the guy who constantly builds new realistic paths into electoral success. In the face of everybody saying that it's impossible for President Trump to pull it off, he keeps pulling off the impossible. So maybe for once look at history and go, you know what? I might want to side with President Trump here. Might want to side with him. They view this is. Republicans view Mike Lee as seeking personal attention at the cost of sparking an ongoing intra party feud. According to five Republicans granted anonymity to speak candidly about their colleague. Granted anonymity to speak candidly. What a bunch of cowards. How about put your name on the record now, the one guy who does put his name on the record in this political piece is Thumb Balena. Not surprising. Thom Tillis, that angry little freak. He writes he says to Politico, that seems to be a self serving attempt at elevating yourself at the expense of your Republican colleagues. And I don't have any patience for that sort of stuff. He said about Mike Lee's social media strategy. Look how pissy he is about the fact that the base is engaged. Look how angry Thumbelina is that Republican voters are having any influence in the United States Senate. This isn't normal. You don't usually get Republican senators talking to the public, telling them about process, telling them about what's achievable. Normally we're super insular and secretive. We don't want the public involved. The unwashed masses. Just imagine them having influence in the Senate. That would be disgusting. Thom Tillis is angry about this and good. Your anger is my joy. I love that you're upset about this. I love that the American people are disrupting your party at this level. Tillis, a retiring lawmaker who's not one of the five who spoke privately, lamented a lack of strategic clarity from Lee on the end game for the elections debate. Lee, however, shows no hint of self doubt in news conferences and floor speeches, and more importantly, late night X streams and a constant stream of social media posts. This is so funny. Just listen to how dismissive Politico is. And these establishment Republicans, most of whom won't put their name on the record, how dismissive they are of the fact that this guy's being transparent. Mike Lee is openly communicating with the American people and they hate this. This is the thing they loathe. Lee said at a news conference this week it would be a suicidal move for us as Senate Republicans, for Republicans in general, if we don't put everything we've got into this. We need to debate this as long as it takes to get it done. And then they've got people bitching, he's hurting us. He's hurting us. Oh, shut up. He's hurting you. Cowards. Won't even put their names on the record. Won't even just attacking him anonymously. So that's the update there, the Save America Act. I love, I love this. This is a sign of progress. This is a sign that you are winning. That's a sign because now they're attacking you by way of Mike Lee. It's the same reason people attack Trump. Fundamentally, it's about attacking you. He's only standing in the way. The Senate Republicans are too cowardly to attack you by name, to attack the American people broadly. So they attack Mike Lee. But what they're really doing is attacking the political movement that Mike Lee is a part of, the one that you're a part of. That's what they're doing. Mike Lee is standing in their way. Good. Keep standing in their way. I love that. I love that. All right, we got some breaking Iran news over the weekend I need to get to with you as well, including this morning. Breaking news this morning. Just as our, our show was launching today, first and foremost, Iran tried to strike a U.S. base in the Indian Ocean this weekend. People are pointing out, wait a second, I didn't know Iran had the tech, the capability to strike bases in the Indian Ocean. Yeah, that's, that's a problem. Iran here throwing missiles in the direction of a US UK military base over 2,000 miles off of its coast. This weekend. It has renewed questions about Tehran's military capabilities. It turns out Iran was lying about what they were developing on Friday morning. Like just like everything else, on Friday morning local time, Iran launched two intermediate range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia. This is a joint US UK military base in the Indian Ocean, a US Official told cnn, adding that neither of them struck the base. This marks what appears to be the first known attempt to target it, which was deliberately built in a remote location beyond the reach of many adversaries. While the attack was unsuccessful, it shows that Iran may not be adhering to its self imposed missile range. Iran may have lied its self imposed missile range of 2,000 km, raising concerns about whether Tehran could hit US and European interests further away than previously thought. Yeah, no kidding. So Iran is spazzing out, of course, over the fact that it's suffering pretty devastating military defeats here. Many of its capabilities have been taken offline. These are, I think, in a lot of ways kind of the last spasms of the regime. There's just throwing everything they can in every possible direction. It's not even clear if their leadership is alive or deformed and who's really in charge. It's craziness right now. Absolute madness. But Iran throwing those missiles and Scott Betts and the Treasury Secretary was on one of the Sunday shows this weekend. He goes, this is, this is a last ditch desperate move by Iran. Watch Scott Besson explain this. Cut five.
C
NBC News is reporting that President Trump is considering sending troops into Iran. Will the administration use troops to secure the Strait of Hormuz or for any other reason?
G
Mr. Secretary, again, as President Trump said during the press break yesterday when he was going out to Marine One, he's not going to give a, give away what we're going to do he's, as President Trump always does, he's leaving all options on the it on the table. We had a very successful bombing campaign against the military installations at Cargill island, the nexus for all the Iranian oil supply. You know what could happen with Carg Island? We'll see. And again, just to be clear, the command and control system of the Iranian regime is in chaos. This is Hitler's bunker. Hitler is dead. Himmler is dead. Goring is dead. The most of what you're seeing are lone wolf activities. This the mid range ICBM that was shot off these two missiles yesterday. That's out of desperation, Kristen.
B
That's out of desperation. They're getting very desperate. One of the problems for Iran is every time they fire a missile, we know where their missiles are being fired from. So we destroy the launcher. They're having a lot of trouble figuring out how to sustain the conflict when we blow up everything that they've got. I could see that be a problem. I could see how that'd be difficult. The President this weekend, now, now nearly two days ago, he made a big threat to Iran. He made it, he issued an ultimatum, which we have an update on this morning. Let me start with what he threatened. He said if Iran doesn't fully open without threat the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours from this exact point in time, he said this Saturday night at 7:44pm Eastern time. So that would be 48 hours from then, would be tonight at 7:44pm Eastern time. He said if they don't open the Strait of Hormuz at that ex at within 48 hours, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. Trump. Okay, so the big problem Iran is posing right now is that they are causing chaos in the Strait of Hormuz. And it doesn't cost a lot for them to do that. Lobbing a couple of missiles, throwing a couple drones in the direction of these tankers in the Strait of Hormuz is enough to shut down the traffic in the strait, which impacts 20% of the global oil market. So it's a big deal. And the President said we got to put a stop to this. So we've got to increase the stakes for the regime. I'm going to destroy power plants and energy infrastructure if you don't open the strait. So get moving now. Now look, remember, the President's been resisting destroying energy infrastructure. In fact, he scolded the Israelis for Destroying energy infrastructure because he's trying to leave the country as intact as possible for the Iranian people in the wake of, of this conflict. He wants the Iranian people to succeed. He doesn't want them to live amid rubble and devastation. He wants them to have functional infrastructure. The last thing he's trying to do is create another Iraq style power vacuum that creates more terror in the Middle East. That's not what he wants. And so he's been, he's been fighting to preserve the infrastructure there. But he's saying, look, this is an option. I've got to, I've got to employ it if necessary to get the Strait of Hormuz open. And then we got some more updates from the President this morning. The breaking news update is the President now says that this is done, that we are, that basically the Iranians, or at least for the most part it's done. The Iranians are now negotiating with the United States. Take a look here what the President said this morning. This is 7:05am Eastern Time. This morning he said, I'm pleased to report the United States of America and the country of Iran have had over the last two days very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East. Based on the tenor and tone of these in depth, detailed and constructive conversations which will continue throughout the week, I've instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. Trump. So the President immediately coming out this morning and going, actually we're in a good situation here. This is the Iranians are now negotiating with us and so I'm delaying this by five days. Do I believe the Iranians are actually going to open up the Strait of Hormuz at this point? No. But I am willing to put a pause on the attacks that I promised because the Iranians are at least demonstrating that they're willing to negotiate to some level. Now that said, Iran this morning had an official. Now pay attention to this cuz like we don't even know who's in charge of the government right now. These are a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. There are various power centers. Nobody's really quite clear on who's in charge. You're down to the JV squad, you're killing all the senior leadership. So like who's actually calling the shots? Who can even speak for the regime? Somebody in the regime this morning is claiming that there is no negotiation. Iran is denying that there's any negotiation. According to a senior source at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We deny what President Trump said regarding any negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran remains committed to its stance of rejecting any form of negotiations until Iran's objectives in the war are achieved. What are you talking? Objectives in the, what objectives in the war? You're getting destroyed. And then they claim that Trump's retreating from his previous threats. Uh huh. Yeah. So who are you going to believe? Donald Trump or the anonymous senior source at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs? And you know what's going on. It's like Steve Wyckoff is like, probably negotiating by way of like Oman or the Qataris with the Iranians right now, and they're trying to figure out a way to come to some sort of deal as we speak that, come on, you know what's happening. But the president, look, the ultimatum works. In other words, President Trump issues an ultimatum, said, I'm going to blow up everything you care about. And then they said, okay, hold on, we're willing to negotiate. And the President said, okay, you just bought yourself five days. Five days. Let's go, boys. So the President with an update this morning, which is really good, I think very valuable, and hopefully we can bring an end to this conflict. I know the president wants to, he's just, he keeps saying that he wants to move on from this and he wants to tackle the problems that are in the United States more directly. The radical left. This is one of my favorite posts from him this weekend. Untrue social. He said, he said the following goes now with the death of Iran. The greatest enemy America has is the radical left. Highly incompetent Democrat Party. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT So look, you understand what the President is doing here? He wants to put a wrap on the Iran war. He wants to settle up, get the Strait of Hormuz reopened and get about the business of tackling all of the devastation that the left is causing right now right here in the United States of America. And I couldn't root him on more in that effort. That's what we want. Yeah, I know. I voted for this, too. Chrono Flux. I voted for this big time. All right, one more big piece of news from the weekend. And then, and then we've got a lot more to get to on the big national radio show today. Bob Mueller is dead at the age of 81 Mueller, known most famously for leading a witch hunt against President Trump in the form of the Mueller investigation. He died at the age of 81 on Friday. On Friday, Mueller was, at one point the head of the FBI for 12 years. That was from 2001 to 2013. He was first appointed to the role by President George W. Bush. And, you know, this is a guy who had, at least in Washington, by the time he becomes the head of the Mueller investigation, he had a reputation of being, you know, Mr. Sterling, Mr. Tell it like it is, Mr. Patriotic American, and that both parties respected him. So the idea was, well, why don't we put Bob Mueller in charge of the special counsel operation against President Trump, and then nobody will question it. Everyone will think it's all on the up and up. And in the end, after an exhausting and absolutely paralyzing special counsel investigation, Mueller's report did conclude that President Trump didn't collude with Russia at all. Democrats have, of course, ignored that detail and have continued to lie about it to this very day. But that is true what the Mueller report actually found, but it caused a lot of chaos in President Trump's first term in office. By design, Democrats were trying to lock up President Trump's presidency and get him ejected from office. And we now know that Bob Mueller was, in a lot of ways, sort of kind of a senile, empty vessel the Democrats were exploiting to destroy what was left of his reputation and to use him as a means to take down Donald Trump. It was also pathetic. There's no love lost between President Trump and Bob Mueller, because this weekend, when President Trump shared the news on Truth Social, he said this. Bob Mueller just died. Excuse me. He wrote, robert Mueller just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people. President Donald J. Trump, he didn't sugarcoat it. He never sugarcoated his feelings about Bob Mueller. And here's the President saying, I'm glad he's gone. He can't hurt anybody else now. He can't hurt anybody else now. This, of course, was the big scandal of the weekend for the left. They thought that that was the worst thing. They never thought for a moment that Robert Mueller either being used or actively being involved in an attempt to take down a President of the United States on a false pretense was a scandal. But for President Trump to be glad that this menace is no longer on this earth, that's the real scandal. Here's Scott Besson swatting questions about the propriety of that truth Social post on NBC this weekend. Cut. Sex Watch.
C
Ask you on a different topic about a post by President Trump from yesterday responding to the death of former special counsel Robert Mueller. He posted this quote, robert Mueller just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt. Hurt innocent people. Do you think it's appropriate for the President of the United States to celebrate the death of an American citizen, someone who's a Bronze Star, Purple Heart recipient and who served in Vietnam?
G
Kristen, I was with the president in the green room at Davos, and there was a video playing of the. What may have been an illegal raid on his home at Mar a Lago. They are going through his wife's wardrobe. And I watched the lady look in his eye. And I think that neither one of us can understand what has been done to the president and to his family.
C
But to the question of the president's post, I mean, Robert Mueller didn't order that raid. Is it appropriate for the president to celebrate the death of any American citizen?
G
Again, I think that given what has been done to President Trump and his family, it is impossible for either of us to understand what he has been through.
C
So you don't think that there's anything wrong with the post saying, good, Robert Mueller again?
G
I think that the. We should all have a little empathy for what has been done to him and his family.
C
All right.
B
The government has been completely tyrannical towards Donald Trump, his family, the people who've worked with and around Donald Trump, Trump voters, completely tyrannical. And NBC is acting like none of that ever happened. Why was President Trump mean to Bob Mueller? What are you talking about? Why is that the story? It stands to reason that President Trump would be angry at Bob Mueller, that he'd be angry more than just furious at what Bob Mueller and the people around him did to this country. And the people around him really is, I think, kind of the secret sauce here. Remember, Mahler didn't really run his own investigation. That was a guy called Andrew Weissman. Andrew Weissman. Where's Andrew Weissman a contributor these days? Isn't he a cable news contributor? I'm actually asking. I think he's at CNBC or NBC, where. Yeah, he's a legal analyst for NBC. The same network that was just going after Scott Besson just now. That's where Weisman works. That's Mueller's pit bull, the guy who is responsible for all of the tyranny inside of the Mueller investigation. That guy works at NBC and so he was running the investigation. Remember Mueller in his final years was living, living in a home for people with memory impairments. He was, he was living, remember this came out in August of last year, that he'd been living in a home for the memory impaired for years. That his mind was gone, that he just, he just didn't have his faculties anymore. And the left exploited that man in order to go after Trump and again, what was left of his reputation. In fact, let me go back to 2019. Here's Bob Mueller in testimony before the House of Representatives struggling to answer questions he didn't even know details about his own investigation. Watch this cut 7.
D
The name of that firm was Fusion GPS, is that correct?
E
And you're on page 103.
D
103, that's correct. Volume two. When you talk about the, the firm that produced the steel reporting. The name of the firm that produced that was Fusion gps, is that correct? I'm not familiar with, with that. I, well, let me just. It was, it's not, it's not a trick question or any. It was Fusion gps.
B
That's in the so called Mueller report. That guy didn't even know what Fusion GPS was. Every single person listening to this program right now knows what Fusion GPS is. Everybody, we all know that they were a part of Hillary Clinton's operation to take down Trump. That they hired Christopher Steele to compile the Steele dossier. This details, everybody knows it. Mueller didn't know it by any means necessary. That's how the left pursues power. They'll use anybody any way they need to for power. And the President wants to see all that stop. And so do I. All right, I'll be back with you tomorrow on this program. Can't wait to chat with you then. We've got the big national radio show coming up Today, the Vince Show.com for your local radio affiliates. This episode of VINCE delivers a sharp, rapid-fire breakdown of escalating travel chaos at America’s airports, tying it directly to the ongoing Senate political deadlock over Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding. Vince Coglianese frames the chaos as a product of Democratic obstructionism, aimed at protecting illegal immigration and undermining enforcement agencies, and details the Trump administration’s response—including the unprecedented deployment of ICE agents to serve as backup for striking TSA officers. Alongside in-depth policy analysis, the episode hits on parallel breaking news from the Iran conflict and addresses the recent passing of Robert Mueller. The tone remains sharply critical of Democratic leadership and supportive of the Trump administration’s hardball tactics.
This episode provides a comprehensive, combative, and fast-paced overview of the politicized crisis at U.S. airports, linking it to broader themes of immigration enforcement, election security (via the Save America Act), party divisions, and global security challenges. Vince Coglianese stands firmly with Trump’s administration, giving voice to frustration with Democratic resistance, championing conservative policy priorities, and offering a window into high-stakes maneuvering in D.C. The show’s tone is unapologetically direct—a must-listen for those seeking the populist, pro-Trump perspective on breaking national and international issues.
