Looking forward to chatting with her. In fact, I was, I was texting with her yesterday as I'm watching all these news headlines come through about the Justice Department's prosecution of the would be assassin, this guy, Cole Allen. And so yesterday, the guy was arraigned in federal court in Washington, D.C. and here's how that went down. Here's Todd Blanche announcing the three charges. And I'm interested by the specific charges. Listen to this.
Todd Blanche
Today, the Department of Justice filed three federal charges in United States District Court against Cole Thomas Allen. The first count is attempted assassination of the President of the United States. This count is punishable by up to life in prison. The second count is interstate transportation of a firearm to commit a felony. This is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. And the third count is discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence, which is punishable by a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 10 years, a maximum of life. And the 10 years is consecutive to any other sentence imposed.
Vince Coglianese
So. Interesting. So some of the. Some of that stands out. One is the attempted assassination of the President of the United States. Crystal clear from the manifesto. That stands out. The guy, the guy straight up said that that was his intent. He wants to take out every official that he can get, get access to. He's clearly targeting the event because the President's there. So they've got the evidence against him. In that case, they've got that second charge of him bringing guns across the lines with the. With the intent to commit a felony. That one is open and shut, clearly, given what he did. And then that third one, you know, they talk about discharging the weapon in the commission of a felony. Okay, but what about the charges about who he was aiming the weapon at? We were promised, not promised. We were indicated to all weekend long that they were intending to charge him with assault on a federal officer. They did not charge him with that. Did you notice that they didn't charge him with assault on a federal officer. Let's dog ear that. We'll keep talking about that in a moment. The other thing they didn't charge him with is attempted murder of a federal officer. That presumably the thought process was certainly going through the weekend that the guy fired his weapon directly into the chest of a Secret Service agent. That seems to me that's an attempted murder. So you would slap him with charges on that too, wouldn't you? But that is not what they charged him with here. They charged him with those first three charges. Now, we could have more. You know, Jeanine Pirro told US yesterday, the U.S. attorney for D.C. she said more charges are incoming, so those may still yet arrive. But I think there's a very good reason why they're not yet ready to say that those charges would be open and shut. Listen to this. Here's cut to Jeanine Pirro.
Jeanine Pirro
There will be additional charges as this investigation continues to unfold. But make no mistake, this was an attempted assassination of the President of the United States with the defendant making clear what his intent was. And that intent was to bring down as many of the high ranking cabinet officials as he could. This is the kind of situation that we cannot tolerate. And as the Attorney General has just indicated, it could have been so much worse but for the reality that we had the Secret Service as well as the Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI.
Vince Coglianese
Yeah, no, that's true. That's true. The guy doesn't make it all the way to that ballroom because he stopped by law enforcement. That's unquestionably true. And I say this on behalf of the rest of the country. Totally grateful, totally grateful that the President of the United States and everybody else in that ballroom were kept safe by the fact that law enforcement acted swiftly enough to stop him from, from getting through. Great. That's, that's a great thing. Jeanine Pirro did walk through the timeline of the shooter's movements. She explained that he planned all this over the course of several days and then he rushed that security checkpoint. Here's cut three. This is Jeanine Pirro explaining the timeline.
Jeanine Pirro
You may recall that it was on March 2 that the President indicated that he would be attending this public event at the, at the Hilton. And on April 6, that's when Cole Allen first made a hotel reservation at the Washington Hilton for three nights. The 24th, the 25th and the 26th. It was on April 21st that he traveled all the way from the west coast from his home near LA. He gets to Chicago on April 23rd and has been indicated. He arrives in DC on the 24th and he checks into the hotel at about 3pm he stays overnight. He is very much aware that the President and the first lady entered the ballroom at 8pm and it was at 8:40 that he made a decision to rush the ballroom.
Vince Coglianese
The reason I want you to hear the timeline is I'm trying to put together a case of why this, this, this whole event troubles me from a security standpoint. It was well known that the President of the United States was going to be at this event. Very well known. We all knew about it for a while. We've been talking about it for a while that this was happening. So the whole nation knows. This guy is able to travel 3,000 miles across the country by train, brings all of his Guns with him, books a room inside of the Hilton, gets inside of the Hilton, is able to stay there for a day or two, and then just right then he's, he's a pretty far into the security perimeter already. And he put in basically no effort. Basically no effort. You know, you think about the amount of, of effort that the 911 hijackers put into their attack from getting trained on how to operate an airplane. And you know, of course, nobody, it was like questioning the fact that they didn't bother to learn how to land them and, you know, the process of getting into the country and all of the sort of logistics that were involved in conducting that horrific terror attack on the United States. This guy basically did nothing. He just brought some weapons with him, books a hotel room, and he is already 90% of the way through the security, 90% of the way to causing the kind of chaos that could really upend the country. And I said to you yesterday, just imagine if this was a more committed group of, of commandos, like well trained people. I was talking to my dad yesterday, the general colonizer, I was talking about this with him, and I was like, I just, just imagine. I, I was reiterating the point I was making on the, the podcast with you yesterday. Just imagine if these guys were, were actually trained professionals going in on a suicide mission. You know, how, how much damage could 6 to 10 determined, capable warriors do if they started barreling into the room and trying to cause chaos? And my dad was like, oh, if, if they got that far, all it would have took is a grenade. They could have, they could have really, they really could have caused damage getting into a room like that. And I was like, you know, it's crazy, it's crazy to me that it got this far. So, you know, one of the big themes here this week, and unfortunately we've had to do this theme before, as the President has survived subsequent assassination attempts, is what the hell's going on at the Secret Service? What the hell is going on? How does it, how does it get this far? How is it, how is it that the President is this vulnerable to an attack, if not the President certainly a Secret Service protected site, as I said yesterday, you know, the President gets whisked away off the back of the stage, JD Vance gets whisked away at the back of the stage. They clearly have an exit strategy for how to get him away from danger. But you've got a whole room full of people, some of whom are Secret Service protectees, that are sitting ducks inside of this, this room that's basically a fire hazard. You can't move very easily through it, hard to escape quickly. They could have really, really done damage. And it's. And I'm grateful that they caught the one guy who tried to do this. But hopefully that's the last test run of the security concerns that we have of the Secret Service because once the guy gets through, this is what I want to get to next. Once the guy gets through the magnetometer, he sprints through it. You see all these agents draw their weapons and when they do, presumably they're, they're exchanging gunfire with the guy. Right. Because even inside the room you heard, you could hear the sounds of gunfire outside. Clearly there's gunfire going on in the hallway. Gunfire. So how is it, Just do the math with me. How is it that only one person was shot and it wasn't the suspect. It was a Secret Service agent who took. We're not even clear that he took a shotgun shell to the chest that he took shot to the chest. It sounds like he may have been struck by another agent. Let me walk you through what Todd Blanche told us yesterday. They're not trying to conceal anything by the way. They're just saying they're conducting an investigation on the subject. But it's starting to sound a lot like what happened this weekend was a case of friendly fire. Listen to Todd Blanche describe the agent hearing a quote. The Secret Service hearing a quote, loud gunshot. This is cut four, Todd Blanche.
Todd Blanche
Approximately at 8:40 on the night of April 25th, Alan approached a security checkpoint on the terrace level of the hotel which is again a floor above where the dinner was taking place. He ran through the magnumometer holding a long gun. As he did so, US Secret Service personnel assigned to the checkpoint heard a loud gunshot. One Secret Service officer was shot in the chest but was wearing a ballistic vest that worked. This heroic officer who was hit, fired five times at Allen, who was not shot but fell to the ground and was promptly arrested.
Vince Coglianese
Todd would, Todd Blanche would, would further reiterate. Throughout the press conference he was asked a follow up question about is it just the one agent who fired or did other agents fire? And he said that he wanted to be careful with the way he answered the question, but it sound, but he made it sound like it was the single agent who discharged his weapon. Apparently the same agent who took the shot to the chest. How was. I don't even know how that's possible assuming that's federal friendly fire. But anyway he made it sound like it's very likely. One agent fired five Times again, the suspect never hit. The suspect was never hit. Now, Todd Blanche did say that the suspect did discharge his shotgun. It's a pump action shotgun. The, the casing for the shell was never discharged from the weapon because the suspect never pumped it, which would eject the, the, the, the cartridge. The, the, the shell cartridge. The shell casing. So here is Todd Blanche describing that yesterday. Cut six. Listening.
Caroline Levitt
You can explain the discharging of weapon charge at this point?
Todd Blanche
Well, he's charged with violating 924C discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence. So by definition that charge means that it was discharged. I can tell you from what I know with the understanding that we're a day and a half in that this is the gun that he discharged. And as those of us that have ever shot one of these know what happens when you shoot. That is the, the casing stays inside the firearm and then if you reload it, it pops it out. My understanding is that it was inside the firearm but not hadn't been ejected, which means that, that it hadn't been pulled back again.
Vince Coglianese
You got that? So his, his gun had gone off once. He clearly, he pulls the trigger once. Not clear at this hour who he was pointing at or if it was an accidental discharge or what. The circumstances are there. But again, he was never, he was never struck. He was never struck. Here it is, Todd Blanche describing cut five, that he does believe the gunman fired the weapon again, but did acknowledge that the Secret service agent might have been struck. The one who took the shot to the chest may have been struck by friendly fire. Listen to this.
Caroline Levitt
Have you been able to determine whether the gunman fired shots, if so, how many shots he fired and who exactly whose bullet hit the agent?
Todd Blanche
We're still, we want to get that right. So we're still looking at that. It appears, and I don't want to. To overstate because we are still looking at this, that there were five, five shots that law enforcement fired. We are. We have all the evidence is being examined very carefully and expeditiously and we'll know more soon. We do believe that as the complaint lays out, that the suspect that the defendant fired out of his shotgun, and we know that that happened, but as far as getting into exacting ballistics, I'm not going to do that today because it's still being being looked at and finalized.
Vince Coglianese
So I don't know if you're picking up what they're putting down like I am, but it sounds a lot like this is a friendly fire incident. Now I'm not, I'm not saying that these never happen. Of clearly something like this could happen. It's a chaotic situation. Gunfires being exchanged. You're watching a guy with a gun run towards the ballroom with the Secret Service protectees. This is a huge national security crisis. These guys have to move very swiftly under immense pressure and make very rapid fire, literally rapid fire decisions here. So, yeah, things can happen. Things can happen. These unfortunate circumstances. And thank God that that agent was wearing that vest and thank God that that agent's doing well. Left the hospital of his own volition. Sounds like he's going to be just fine. Talk to the President of the United States. That's all wonderful, wonderful news. But this guy sustained no injuries but a rug burn. The suspect, Jeanine Pirro, described yesterday that the only thing that happened was the guy tripped and he scraped his knee. Listen to Gene Pirro describing what happened to the suspect who ran in with guns to kill the President.
Jeanine Pirro
Thank goodness law enforcement, the Secret Service was able to prevent him from getting into that ballroom. He was not injured other than some kind of scrape on his knee.
Vince Coglianese
They got a rug burn. That's why, you know, when I saw the photos this week, guys, when, when the President of the United States puts the photos up Saturday night of the suspect lying on the ground, he's like completely conscious, his face is on the ground. And I'm so. Did you look at that too and go, where's the blood? I mean, you would think if there was an exchange of gunfire and there's a bunch of cops around, they would have shot him, that he would have been shot, but apparently he tripped and then they just jumped on top of him. Rightfully so they tackled him, but crazy, just absolutely crazy. So an agent misses five shots at maybe, maybe more than one agent misses five shots on the guy. And it reminded me of the fact that we had the same circumstance. Do you guys remember the Ryan Ruth incident when Ryan Ruth, the Ukrainiac who got into the bushes to try and assassinate President Trump in Florida. Chad, do you remember what happened there? So we had an agent walking ahead of the President of the United States, kind of a lead agent, an advanced agent walking ahead of the President of the United States like a golf, like a, like a hole or two. This was September of 2024 and he's walking right near the bushes. Remember the early reports seem to suggest that the agent was at a great distance away from Ryan Roth. And then we found out actually he was just five feet away. The agent was five feet away from Ryan Ruth in the tree line. And suddenly he sees Ruth in the trees with a gun, whips Adam and starts firing on him. Fires six times from five feet away and misses every shot. Every single shot. In fact. Here's the language from the House report. Let me, let me take this, let me, let me show this to you. I think I've got it here. Page 131. Here it is. This is the, this is the, the House report on the subject. West Palm beach findings and recommendations. The morning of September 15, 2024, former President Trump and a protective team of U.S. secret Service personnel depart Mar a Lago to head to Trump International Golf Club, West Palm beach. At approximately 1:30pm former President Trump was on the redacted hole of the golf course. A Secret Service site agent who was riding along the fence line conducting a. And then they redacted noticed an individual by the fence line on the exterminal external perimeter of, of the redacted green. The agent first notices the suspect, later identified as Ryan Wesley Ruth, and then noticed the barrel of Ruth's gun sticking through the fence line. The special agent, who may have been as close as five feet away from Ruth, immediately responded by firing shots toward the suspect. It is believed six total. Six shots in total were fired. However, final ballistics are pending an ongoing FBI investigation. The suspect then fled across redacted which is the multi lane road that encircles the golf club. And then he gets into a vehicle. The only reason that they were able to track the vehicle, the guy almost got away. The reason they tracked him is because a good Samaritan, a woman, a witness, sees him jump into the car and all of the chaos around that, writes his license plate number down and then hands it off to law enforcement. They're able to get him on the highway pretty quickly after that, which was good news. Five feet away. Now I'm not, I'm seeing some people in chat who are being, I think a little overly generous here to the agents because look, I, I'm again, I'm grateful for the heroism, love the heroism. What I'm concerned about. And for those of you who've worked in law enforcement, you can speak better to this than I can or if you've worked in the United States military, if you've been or you've worked in security of any kind, to what extent does training play a role in your ability to successfully execute your mission at that moment that you don't expect to arrive, but when it does that you can pull it off successfully? That you can strike a target at five feet away with six attempts? Or that you can strike a target with all these guns drawn, people firing at this guy as he's running just a couple feet away from you, inside of a ball, towards a ballroom where the President of the United States waits. What kind of training are these guys doing? How frequently are they doing it? It sounds like they've got quarterly range time. How much under stress time are they doing it, how much. How much time? Where they have to do it at a heightened state of anxiety. How routinely are those trainings being conducted? Are, are these guys being overworked? Are they working so many hours that they don't actually have time to get their qualifications done to do their trainings? These are deep, deeper questions. I'm just asking them simply because I want the leadership of the Secret Service to successfully handle that agency in such a way that the President of the United States is not killed. That's why I'm focused on this. That's why I'm focused on this. There's a reason we arm the Secret Service is it's not merely so that they can miss a bunch of shots. It's so they can successfully shoot center mass and take down a threat. That's why they're armed. Otherwise, what's the point? This is what I'm asking. So we're going to. Coming up. I've got. I've got more on this. We're going to talk to Susan Crabtree about it. But I, I have to take. I've. I've gone long. I've gone long on this. I've got to thank one of the sponsors who do make this show possible so we can have these conversations as a great sponsor who loves our country just like you do. Patriot Mobile. I love Patriot Mobile. America's about to celebrate its 250th anniversary. We're coming up on it so fast. July 4th is almost here. Not quite, but it's getting here. So it seems pretty clear to me that the announcement we're going to get at some point, some confirmation here is that the agent who was hit in the vest was hit by friendly fire. And we now know that the suspect was never hit in the course of at least five shots that were fired by Secret Service agents. And this is not the first time we've seen something like this. So you go from assassination attempt to assassination attempt and each one of those consists of clear lessons learned. Like how do we fix this? For instance, do we secure a roof in Butler, Pennsylvania with a clear line of sight to the President of the United States? Do we have radio systems that can actually communicate with one another? So when a local cop is screaming into a radio that there's a shooter on the roof, the Secret Service can actually hear it? Do we fix those things? Do we fix things like an agent seeing Ryan Routh and firing at him six times from five feet away and not striking him? Can we fix that? Can we prevent that from happening? How did he get that close to begin with? Why is it an agent who's walking one hole up? What, what about like just like drone technology? What about dogs being out there? What about just screening all of this ahead of time? How is it that it was so unsecured is the President of the United States? And then how in this latest assassination attempt, one of many, by the way, the media keeps saying three. We know it's a lot more than that. These are just three very high profile events. In this latest one, how does a guy get that far into the security perimeter simply by getting the hotel room, paying the rate for the room. And boom, he's deep into the security perimeter of one of the most highly concentrated national security events imaginable, when the entirety of our government at the upper level is all in the same room. Room he runs in with all these guns and knives. Guns and knives. He. And he had a lot. The guy was strapped up. He was. I don't even. First of all, I don't know what kind of movies this dude is watching, because I'm like, it doesn't even make sense, the crap he was running in with. I was like, what? So he brought a shotgun. He brought a shotgun. He. He said that he. Some. For whatever reason, he was claiming that he was trying to mitigate the damage. He was hoping to shoot Secret Service agents. In his manifesto, he said this in the. In the bulletproof vest with his. With his shotgun. He's shooting buckshot. I mean, he's going to destroy people if he's shooting them with buckshot. People are not surviving this. It's crazy that he talked in any way. He's a psycho. But look at some of this. This is. So this is. Here's the. Here's the shotgun that he brought in. That's his shotgun. Rumble.com, vince. So you can see it. There's his.38 caliber handgun. He's also got all these knives. Look at these knives the guy's carrying. He's got. He's got like, this looks like, I think, like a military style, like a K Bar knife. Is that right, guys? He's got. He's got four different knives here. Or is that just like. Kind of like a. A sheath for a knife? So at least three knives. One of these. Is that like a throwing dagger? What is this? What is that? Chat? What is this one on the bottom left corner? Is that is. Am I wrong in thinking that's supposed to be like, a throwing knife? These are. These are. These are sold as, like, amusements, you know? These are. What. Is this the guy. Yeah. The guy thought that he was like. Like an anime character? Like, he was like. It was. It's. Yeah, it is. It's a. Yeah. What. I mean, what. What was he thinking? Obviously, psychopath. Psychopath. Inflamed by the left to conduct this attack. But yeah, okay, chat. You're agreeing? Yeah, It's a throwing knife. Yeah, yeah. Anyway, what is this one called? This one on the top right? What do we call that? A stiletto? What is that one called? Do We Know? Yeah, whatever. The point is Psycho. The point is Psycho. And that Psycho made it far. Made it that far with that much weaponry. So forgive me for asking questions about the Secret Service. I would like the President to survive, please. But let me tell you first about Rumble Wallet. Also, thank you to Birch Gold for being such an enduring and great sponsor of our program. You know, back in 1971, talking about gold, back in 1971, gold was $35 an ounce. Can you imagine 35 bucks an ounce? Now today, the United States dollar has lost 85% of its purchasing power and gold has increased in value by over 12,000%. How's that math? That's wild. And this is why so many central banks are buying gold at record levels. And that's why major firms hold significant positions in gold. But it all starts with education. My friends at the Birch Gold Group have their Learn and Earn Precious Metals event going on right now. This free online event rewards you for learning the basics of investing in precious metals. You can sign up to get free silver on your next purchase if you qualify, and you can get even larger incentives as you go. The more you learn, the more you can earn. Why don't we focus for a moment on how we got here. How is it that we get this like, psychopath that writes this manifesto full of Left wing blueski Ms. Now CNN conspiracy theories. How did we get here? Well, Caroline Levitt took the lectern yesterday in the White House press briefing room. She wasn't expected to. She was supposed to be on maternity leave. Remember, Caroline Levitt ended last week and went on maternity leave and said, goodbye, everybody, I got to have a baby. And so the last event that she was doing was going to be this White House correspondents dinner seated alongside President Trump. Yeah, well, because another lunatic lefty attacked the event, she decided it was incumbent upon her to return to the lectern on Monday. And this is what she produced. Take a look at Caroline Levitt excoriating the Democrats who have breathed life into this violence. Here she is. Cut seven.
Caroline Levitt
The entire Democrat Party has made their pitch to voters across the country that Donald Trump poses an existential threat to democracy, that he is a fascist and that they compare him to Hitler. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries just this April, this month said, we are in an era of maximum warfare everywhere, all the time. Governor Josh Shapiro said heads need to roll within the administration. Senator Alex Padilla said people are, quote, dying because of fear and terror caused by the Trump administration. Senator Elizabeth Warren, President Trump is making the country look like a, quote, fascist state. Senator Adam Schiff saying President Trump using a dictator playbook. Senator Ed Markey calling President Trump a dictator, saying that this administration's actions are authoritarianism on steroids. Governor J.B. pritzker, never before in my life have I called for mass protest disruptions. These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace. You have Rep. Pressley saying, we'll see you in the streets. Rep. Monica McIver, a Democrat representative on Capitol Hill, we will not take this shit from Donald Trump. He thinks he's a dictator. We are at war. These are Democrat elected officials calling for war against the President of the United States and his supporters.
Vince Coglianese
Yeah. Where did the left ever get this idea that they're at war with President Trump? Where did they ever get the idea that he's a fascist, a dictator, an authoritarian? Where do they ever get the idea that they have a moral obligation to save the country by killing the President of the United States? How did they arrive at that conclusion? And the answer to that is quite clearly every single one of these outrageous, radical establishment Democrats who know the kind of Psychopaths who compose some of the base of their party. They know this, and yet they use this language anyway out of fear, perhaps of their own base, or knowing that this is the kind of chaos that they think they can exploit for their own power. Either scenario is absolutely vile. Now, none of this will be surprising to you. None of this is surprising to me. It's not shocking, but it's definitely appalling. It's definitely appalling. These Democrats are not showing any signs of slowing down either. You know, Hakeem Jeffries. Yesterday, upon hearing the news of Caroline Levitt's press conference, he raged in his own sort of low IQ way about it, rather than pausing for a moment and admitting that he has been a part of the poison that has diminished this country. Here's Hakeem Jeffries learning nothing yesterday.
Hakeem Jeffries
Watch this so called White House press secretary who's a disgrace, he's a stone cold liar, had the nerve to stand up there and read talking points being critical of statements all taken out of context that Democrats have made and didn't have a word to say about anything that MAGA extremists have said or done, including providing aid and comfort to violent insurrectionists here at this Capitol on January 6th.
Vince Coglianese
Psycho. Absolute psycho. Speaking of sitting on ridiculous talking points, that's exactly what Hakeem Jeffries is doing. January 6th. January 6th. You're pathetic. You are absolutely pathetic. All of this violence is headed in one direction. It's from the left to the right. All of the chaos is coming from one place. It's your party. All of the destruction is being sown by the leaders of just one party. It's yours. The Democrats, Republican voters and Republican leaders, the President Trump, namely, are fighting to restore order to the country. When he says make America great again, he doesn't mean assassinate Democrats. He hasn't called for hurting his political opponents, nothing like that. He's calling for law and order. He's calling for sovereignty. He's calling for safety for American citizens. The President straight up deploys the National Guard and federal law enforcement to American cities to restore order, not to deliver chaos. Yet you people are in the streets assaulting federal law enforcement. And I don't just mean Democrat voters. I mean Democrat officials. The aforementioned Lamonica McIver was in the streets shoving ICE officers at an immigration facility in New Jersey, and she was federally charged for assaulting ICE officers. You've got Democrat officials who constantly are either impeding law enforcement or openly assaulting them. And then, and then right now, Congress is in the Midst of this ridiculous funding battle where Democrats are trying to defund ICE and Border Patrol to get rid of immigration enforcement in the United States, get our borders back open and allow the invasion to continue. You are agents of chaos. You're a bunch of AOCs all over the place. So anytime you hear Hakeem Jeffries raging in this way, he's just projection. It's just a series of talking points and they're the bad ones. It's you. You're the problem. You're the problem. And you've learned literally nothing. You've learned literally nothing from this experience, this awful experience that the country just went through this weekend. Yet again. Now, the White House reminded Hakeem Jeffries that he's been the problem. They just posted to social media overnight the following. In fact, they posted at 7, 7:16pm Eastern Time last night. They posted this clip of him and they said, you know, none of the examples that the press secretary cited were taken out of context. Representative Jeffries, you guys are just unhinged and radical. For example, here's you calling on people to fight the Trump agenda in the streets. Yeah, here's, here's the dial up Democrat Hakeem Jeffries, in his own low IQ way, calling for people to fight in the streets.
Hakeem Jeffries
We are going to fight it legislatively, we are going to fight it in the courts, and we're going to fight it in the streets.
Vince Coglianese
We are going to, we're going to fight it in the streets. The hell does that mean other than everything that we've witnessed in the streets? When the Democrats fight in the streets, they burn down police precincts. When Democrats fight in the streets, they kill David Dorn. When Democrats fight in the streets, they cause billions of dollars of damage and they kill dozens of people in the summer of George Floyd. That's what they do. That's how Democrats fight in the streets. And then if you question it, you're a racist. If you question it, you're the bigot, you're the bad person. Oh, what do you support systemic racism? It's like so crazy. It's like, no, I don't want to see my country destroyed. I want law and order. What's wrong with you? What's wrong with you? The thirst for power. That's what's wrong with them. The unbridled, unconstrained, immoral thirst for power. That's the answer to that question. And that's how you're going to destroy the country. If you succeed, that's how you're going to wreck the whole thing. And this is what we're trying to prevent. All we're trying to do is restore order. This is why people on the right don't call for violence. This is why the people on the right are not itching for a civil war or anything like that. Because people on the right want to restore the country that they were born into. They're just looking to create stability and peace for their children and grandchildren. They're like very aware of, of the costs of bloodshed. They're aware of the costs of violence. In many cases, they've had to endure it either at home or abroad. American conservatives are by and large who compose our veterans, our military. They know, they know the costs of what it means to preserve our liberty and have a sincere appreciation for this country. And so we don't have this sort of like short sighted, demented thirst for power that involves violence against our countrymen. That, that, that, that way lies utter chaos. And, and the Democrats, they just keep breathing life into it. They keep inflaming these weak and vicious minds. Now, we saw also Hakeem Jeffries. One more for you, Hakeem Jeffries. Yesterday he doubled down, you know, again, he's, he's just sticking to his, his, his sheet music here. Last week he said in the wake of the Virginia election that they were going to continue to try and make Americans suffer from. He promised maximum warfare on the American people. I commented on it at the time. And here he is again doubling down on it yesterday. Cut nine. Watch this.
Hakeem Jeffries
The notion that any of us are concerned with so called criticism from these phony Republicans as it relates to anything that has been said, certainly as it relates to, to the comment related to maximum warfare everywhere, all the time in connection with the redistricting battle that Republicans launched. I stand by it. You can continue to criticize me for it. I don't give a damn about your criticism.
Vince Coglianese
That is the leader of the Democrats in the House saying he doesn't give a damn about you. I don't give a damn what the American people think, said Hakeem Jeffries. Screw them. I'm going to keep saying it. I'm going to double down on this. I don't care that an entire room of the government's top officials were just imperiled by a terrorist. I don't care. I don't give a speaker about that. I'm going to keep talking like a reckless lunatic and inflaming these weak and vicious minds. Try and stop me. What a psycho. What a complete psycho. What an intemperate moron who should not be in anywhere, in anywhere close to power. Yet there he is, Hakeem freaking Jeffries. He's not the only one. You know, you've got, fortunately, this man doesn't have power, but he's got, you know, he's, he's got a, he's got a big show. Thanks to Disney and abc. Jimmy Kimmel. I played a clip for you yesterday of Jimmy Kimmel laughing about the prospect of, of President Trump dying. Apparently it was Thursday night last week. I said Friday night, it was Thursday night that he put this together. They did some what, what he called a comedy sketch where he pretended to be the, the entertainment at the White House Correspondents Dinner. And in this sketch, he joked about Melany, joked about, in gayer quotes, Melania Trump having the glow of an expectant widow, that it's very funny that President Trump could die. That's obviously what he thought was the joke. And that Melania Trump would be excited about it because I don't know why, it's also psychotic. But Kimmel did this on a Disney funded operation on Thursday and, and we called it out yesterday morning. I'm like, look at this. This is one of these guys. He's like, you know, just normalizing this kind of rooting for Donald Trump to attitudes that has overtaken the whole American left, so many of them. And the first lady of the United States came out yesterday and she said, enough is enough. This guy needs to go. He needs to be fired. And good for her for calling for this. Here's what she said yesterday. She said Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn't comedy. His words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward. Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It's time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC's leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense of our community? Perfect. Absolutely perfect. From the first lady of the United States, I saw some people yesterday going, the government should stay out of this. Melania Trump's not the government. Melania Trump is a private citizen. She's the first lady of the United States. Yes, she's married to the President, but she is a private citizen who's calling for accountability. After this asshole goes on television and tells what no one else would think of as a joke about how hilarious it would be if Trump kicked it. What a psycho. Now, President Trump himself did jump in. He said yesterday, you know what? Melania's right. This guy needs to be canned for what he did. Here's the President yesterday on Truth Social saying the following. He says, you know, Jimmy Kimmel, who is in no way funny, as attested to by his terrible television ratings, made a statement on his show that is really shocking. He showed a fake video of the first lady, Melania and our son Baron, like they were actually sitting in his studio listening to him speak. They weren't and never would be. He then stated, quote, our first lady Melania is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow. End quote. A day later, a lunatic tried entering the ballroom with a White House correspondence dinner loaded up with a shotgun, handgun and many knives. He was there for an obvious and sinister reason. I appreciate that so many people are incensed by Kimmel's despicable call to violence and normally would not be responsive to anything that he said. But this is something far beyond the pale. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately fired by Disney and abc. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. Trump President wasn't the only one in the administration to jump in here too, with the first lady. Caroline Levitt also jumped in yesterday. Here's what she had to say in the White House press briefing in the Brady Press briefing room, named after a man who was shot by yet another would be assassin, John Hinckley Jr. Here's Caroline Levitt yesterday cut down.
Caroline Levitt
Much of the manifesto of the would be assassin is indistinguishable from the words that we hear daily from so many. For example, as the first lady of the United States pointed out this morning, just two days prior to the shooting, ABC's late night host Jimmy Kimmel disgustingly called first lady Melania Trump an expectant widow. Who in their right minds says a wife would be glowing over the potential murder of her beloved husband. And having experienced what I did with the first lady on Saturday night, I can tell you that she was anything but that. This kind of rhetoric about the President, the First lady and his supporters is completely deranged and it's unbelievable that the American people are consuming it night after night after night. As President Trump said on Saturday night at this podium, we as Americans must, must recommit ourselves to resolving our differences peacefully and uniting around the shared values that make our country great. The deranged Lies and smears against the President, his family, his supporters have led crazy people to believe crazy things and they are inspired to commit violence because of those words. It has to stop.
Vince Coglianese
Yeah. You have a responsibility to be responsible with your language. Language has immense power. Language has immense power. When we use words, we shape people's thoughts. When you communicate with your family members, you're shaping their thoughts about the world. In other words, like language is a form of mind control. It can be. It can be. Now you have an obligation to be as honest as possible. If you have any decency whatsoever, you should be as honest as humanly possible in your interactions with other people. And in that honesty, you can, you can establish hard truths and you can make a healthier environment. You can establish healthy relationships. But if you're dishonest and if you're sinister, you can really use language to vicious ends. I mean, language as a biblical matter is one of the most important things in our, in existence. God spoke us into creation. In the beginning there was the word that this. Words matter. Words matter. And, and how you use them matters a great deal. All of us, it's a, it's a reminder for all of us to be more mindful about the way we communicate because people are listening, especially if you're in a position of power. I don't know if people realize this, but you should. I mean, when you're, if you have power over other people, whether you run a household, a family, or a business, everybody's paying attention to what you say. And then chances are, especially if you're like in an office environment, they're going out and they're drinking that night and they're talking about what you said, and they're litigating every syllable because it affects their lives. And it also gives them something common to gripe about sometimes, you know, the boss, whatever, your words really, really matter. And Jimmy Kimmel's completely out of control. Now, I've seen somebody in the chat, somebody was saying, and I, and I get the point, which is like, hey, maybe if we stop talking about him, it wouldn't even go away and wouldn't matter. Like, the way to diminish him is to stop talking about him entirely. And I get that instinct. But I want you to understand the way something about the way the market works for these ridiculous, out of control left wing rage shows. They're not even comedy shows, these left wing rage shows. There was a time where television ratings were the only thing that mattered in terms of measuring the impact that somebody was having on the on the public conversation and certainly in the ratings and all these things. But it's not like that anymore. It's different now. You know, one of the, like TV ratings, yes, they matter and we love making fun of them because they have these low ratings, as the President just did. It's like nobody's watching it. But the reality is, insofar as these things are being viewed, they're being viewed in these short form clips that are being shared to the Internet. And in some cases, like crazy clips like Kimmel rooting on the death of the President of the United States, that doesn't get a lot of play on the standard broadcast consumption. We can see it in the ratings. But it does get passed around like candy on these, in these insane asylums, like blue sky, Blue ski. Excuse me, on Blueski. They'll share it on Blueski like crazy. This is where they'll see it in their Instagram feeds. They're going to watch this in their infinite scrolls as they're clicking through videos and suddenly they see Kimmel joking about how much he wants to see the President of the United States dead. That's where the radicalization is occurring. That's where it's occurring. People are consuming all of this on their devices. And then they're seeing this guy who's got the kind of the, the, the impression of legitimacy, a stamp of approval from a big company like Disney and ABC saying, yeah, this is our guy, as he roots on the death of the President of the United States and says that Melania Trump would be looking forward to it. It's poisonous stuff. And it does have the effect of conditioning people into thinking that this is a legitimate sort of opinion to have it. It creates this veil of legitimacy as a deep impact on the mind. And how do we know this? People keep trying to kill the President. Where do they get these ideas? Well, if you look at their manifestos, they sound an awful lot like television segments you might hear on some of these crazy left wing networks or on these left wing shows. Your words really matter. Now, last night, Kimmel was trying to mock all of this away. He did do his show last night. I won't bore you with the entire thing, but here he is, courtesy of our friend Jorge Bonilla over at the Media Research center and Newsbusters. He, he had this to say last night and he tried to, he just tried to laugh it off. He just tried to make a mockery of it all.
Jimmy Kimmel
So on Thursday, three days before the event, in order to keep that cherished tradition alive, I did My own version of, of the correspondence dinner on my show. I put on a tuxedo. We pretended we had an audience of luminaries. We used old footage of, of the Trumps, of Pete Hegseth, J.D. vance, Kid Rock, Vanilla Ice, all the members of his cabinet. And we made it seem like they were all together in a room. We had a little roast. Again, this was Thursday, and there was no big reaction to it until this morning, when I greeted the day facing yet another Twitter vomit storm.
Vince Coglianese
Twitter vomit.
Jimmy Kimmel
A call to fire me from our
Vince Coglianese
lady Melania Trump, accusing her of a
Jimmy Kimmel
vomit storm because of a joke I made again five nights ago. It was a pretend roast. I said, our first lady Melania's here. Look at her. So beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow. Which
Vince Coglianese
the audience told the laugh. They love it.
Jimmy Kimmel
Joke about their age difference.
Vince Coglianese
So he goes on to justify it. He just spends the whole time being like, yeah, it was totally legit. Yeah, that's, that's fine. And it's a vomit storm. Melania Trump is guilty of a vomit storm. You know, rather than sincere concern about her family. What a psycho. Yeah, ABC should fire that guy because he's a jackass. He's a jackass, you know, and it's not, it's not personal. I'm not, I'm not picking on him merely because he attacked this show. I'm not picking on him merely because he attacked our interview. Remember when we interviewed J.D. vance? He was attacking us for that. I'm not going after him for that. I don't care about that. I, I. What I care about is that this guy is in no way funny. So he's doing a comedy show. It's like, what? And then it used to be not funny anymore. His mind has been overtaken by hatred. And then he gets on and he grooms people into believing that it's totally legit to root on the death of the President of the United States. How about don't have a show? How about don't have a show, you psycho? You're not, you're not improving the public conversation in any capacity. All right, that's enough about that guy. But he's. He's the President. The first lady. Caroline left. Everybody's like, this guy's got to go. And they're right about that. Before we go today, man, we've gone the distance. 1. At some point, we'll have to have Susan Crabtree back on. We didn't get Susan today. I hope. Hope everything's okay. We'll we'll reschedule with Susan, get her on the program. We'll talk to her about everything going on in the world, in particular with the Secret Service. I'm very concerned about what's going on with that agency. So we'll chat with her. But before we go today, I do want to give you a quick rundown of the redistricting fights that are taking place in the country. And we ended up with a bunch of really promising headlines yesterday. Remember Virginia? In Virginia yesterday, the state Supreme Court was hearing oral arguments on the Dem, Democrat led election rigging operation that took place last week. Tuesday they had this big referendum. They lied to the voters about what it was about. They said it was for restoring fairness. It was for no such thing. And yesterday the, the judges in the court heard the oral arguments and here's the good news. In Virginia, they were heavily scrutinizing the Democrats who run the state going, wait a second, like you really, you didn't follow the law here. Why didn't you file the law? Like, don't you, you don't respect the fact that you're supposed to have an intervening election, that you didn't give the voters enough time. You're supposed to have a 90 day window before you get this, this election underway. Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do this? The scrutiny yesterday in the Virginia Supreme Court was reportedly all directed to one side and it was the Democrats, not to the decency side, in this case, the Republicans. The court very skeptical of the claims that the Democrats have made here for rigging the maps. Now does that mean that they're going to overturn it? No, it's no guarantee. But it definitely points in the direction of decency, which is good news. Remember Ken Cuccinelli joined us here on the program and he said that he's, if he was a betting man, he's betting by mid May that these, that the court's going to throw out the rigged maps which means Democrats do not steal four seats in Virginia for the midterms. That would be a huge, huge deal. So that's a, that's a good update on that story. And we're expected to get a lot of movement on it very quickly because time is of the essence. We got to, this has got to be resolved immediately just because it has a direct impact on the midterms. So the court feels under the gun here. They'll, they'll hopefully get us something very, very quick on that. Even CNN was smacking around the Democrats yesterday, even CNN was smacking around the homicidal maniac known as Jay Jones, the Attorney General of Virginia these days. Here he is yesterday on television and he tried to basically dance away from answering questions about, you know, what's actually going on with his own rigging operation. And the host wouldn't let him do that.
Jay Jones
Listen, genius constitution. Because voters didn't have the 90 days between the General assembly passing the constitutional amendment allowing this redistricting and the voters voting on it. It was signed in early February by the governor. It was passed in January. It went early, early March for early votes. It was presented to voters. Do you disagree with that timing argument?
Todd Blanche
Well, look, again, I think that one
Vince Coglianese
judge, an activist judge, who.
Jay Jones
I'm not asking you about the judge. I'm asking you.
Vince Coglianese
Really?
Jay Jones
It's about a math problem here. It's about a math problem. It's the timing clause. I laid out the dates. We're talking about facts. We're not talking about. I know you don't. You have disagreements with this judge and you're calling this judge an activist. Let's talk about the argument here in the merits of, of it.
Vince Coglianese
No, no, no, no, no, no. We're not talking about the judge. That you don't like him. I'm asking you specifically about the law. More of that, please. Cnn. More of that, please scrutinize these Democrats. Hold their feet to the fire. Do more of that. Do more of that. That's. That was a good exchange yesterday as they smack him around. He deserves it. And then simultaneously yesterday, speaking of Supreme Court, then we get the United States supr. They struck down a ruling in Texas, a lower courts ruling in Texas that said that the Texas Republican map, Republican rigged map is not rigged by Republicans. Remember, Texas redraws the maps because Democrats drew them in a racist way. And a court process that concluded that the districts were drawn in a racist way ended. And the Republicans as a result, redrew the maps in Texas to make them not racist anymore. And it turns out when the maps aren't racist, fewer Democrats get elected. Any lessons there? Democrats. When the maps aren't racist, fewer Democrats get elected. Democrats would like to reimpose the racist maps. So they engaged in this court process to try and block the Republican redraw. No bueno. Because here's what the court said yesterday. US Supreme Court clears Texas's Republican favored congressional map. So in a win yesterday for decency, for sanity, and yes, for the Republican Party, the congressional map will stay, the new map will stay in Texas. It gets the all clear from the United States Supreme Court.
Jeanine Pirro
Boom.
Vince Coglianese
Something good, something very good going on. We'll, we'll take that. And then finally, finally, while I'm on this, this redistricting news today, Ron DeSantis comes flying in from the top rope. Yesterday, Ron DeSantis has unveiled a new Florida congressional map that would give the Republican party an extra four seats. Fox News reports. First on Fox, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis revealed the new redistricted congressional map for the state. It shows the Republican Party gaining an extra four seats. He says, quote, Florida got shortchanged in the 2020 census. We've been fighting for fair representation ever since. Our population has since grown dramatically. It's true. Everybody's going to Florida because they want to escape the Democrat states. And we have moved from a Democrat majority to a 1.5 million Republican advantage. And here it is again, drawing maps based on race, which is reflected in our current congressional districts and is unconstitutional and should be prohibited. So what's the big lesson this morning? Chat if you get rid of the racism, Democrats lose their power. That's what Ron DeSantis is attempting to do in Florida right now to get rid of the racism and more normal people, more patriots get elected. That's, that's good news. That's very good news. We got a lot more to come. A lot more to come. I've got so much more to address. We'll do it today on the big national radio show. We'll do that. That's 12 to 3 Eastern time each day. This episode centers on the recent attempted assassination of the President of the United States, raising urgent questions about the effectiveness, preparedness, and ongoing issues within the Secret Service. Vince Coglianese analyzes the events, details the security lapses, critiques political rhetoric inflaming violence, and discusses recent developments in election integrity and redistricting. He calls out not only government failures but also the toxic atmosphere created by American political discourse and media.
“We were indicated to all weekend long that they were intending to charge him with assault on a federal officer. They did not charge him with that. … We do have to take a closer look at this because it matters a great deal for the stability of our constitutional republic.”
— Vince Coglianese (03:26)
“This guy basically did nothing. He just brought some weapons with him, books a hotel room, and he is already 90% of the way through the security.”
— Vince Coglianese (07:35)
"There’s a reason we arm the Secret Service. It’s not merely so that they can miss a bunch of shots. It’s so they can successfully shoot center mass and take down a threat… Otherwise, what’s the point?"
— Vince Coglianese (19:50)
"Where did the left ever get this idea that they’re at war with President Trump? ... the answer to that is quite clearly every single one of these outrageous, radical establishment Democrats..."
— Vince Coglianese (32:58)
"People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate."
— Melania Trump (43:38, paraphrased by Vince)
“If you get rid of racism, Democrats lose their power.”
— Vince Coglianese (59:11, paraphrased)
“How is it, just do the math with me, how is it that only one person was shot and it wasn’t the suspect?”
— Vince Coglianese (09:35)
“He got a rug burn… Where’s the blood? You would think if there was an exchange of gunfire… they would have shot him…”
— Vince Coglianese (16:58)
“This is why people on the right don’t call for violence… They’re just looking to create stability and peace for their children and grandchildren… The Democrats just keep inflaming these weak and vicious minds.”
— Vince Coglianese (38:12)
“Your words really matter. And Jimmy Kimmel’s completely out of control.”
— Vince Coglianese (46:51)
“How do we fix this? … Do we secure a roof with a clear line of sight to the President?... Do we fix things like an agent seeing [a suspect] and firing at him six times from five feet away and not striking him? Can we fix that?”
— Vince Coglianese (19:20)
