Boom.

Yes.

Okay, so Graham Platner, is he done? So it kind of looks like he's done. So this guy, will this be the scandal that finally takes him out? It wasn't enough for him to be a complete whack job on the Internet. It wasn't enough for him to be mocking American war heroes being shot at, wounded or killed. It wasn't enough for him to be accused, credibly accused of jacking women up. It wasn't a cue. It wasn't enough for him to have a Nazi freaking tattoo on his chest. Those things weren't enough. So maybe now that he stands once again accused of assaulting a woman, this time raping a woman, maybe because she's a Democrat, it'll be enough. Take a look at the, at the story here. This is from Politico. Exclusive. Woman who dated Graham Platner says he sexually assaulted her. A woman who dated Maine U.S. senate candidate Graham Platner says he forced her to have sex with him nearly five years ago despite her repeated objections, an allegation that Platner denies. The Woman is a 41 year old Maine resident named Jenny Rasico, and she detailed the alleged incident to Politico in three interviews over the past two weeks. Politico also spoke with a man Rasico dated and confided in the years after the alleged incident and reviewed documents, including emails between Rasico and her therapist and messages between Rasico and an acquaintance whom she warned against getting involved with Platner years before he ran for office. She says of Rasico that he arrived at her rural main. Sorry. She says of Platner that he arrived at her rural main home uninvited one night late 2021. Deeply intoxicated, he forced himself on her while she repeatedly told him to stop. She said she cut off contact with him after telling him the encounter was not consensual. Quote, I remember him grabbing my pelvis and being really forceful of me, she said. I remember the specific moment where I thought to myself, like, this is no longer my choice. Platner has denied the allegations. Further in the story, they describe what happened that night in 2021, she says. They say that night in late 2021, Rasico said she had exchanged text messages with him and told him not to come over, saying she wasn't in the mood for company. Later that evening, she said she realized when she heard a sound on the stairs, he had let himself into the house, which was unlocked. Platner came up the stairs, she said, to where she was on the couch. He got on top of her. He kept grabbing her while she repeatedly told him to stop and she wasn't interested. Rasico said she smelled alcohol on his breath and believed he was almost blackout drunk because Platner ignored her protests and continued to grab her after knocking over an antique sewing kit, spilling small needles everywhere. I've been telling him these words like, no, don't, she recalled. And the look on his face and realizing what was happening, I just realized, like, I'm in a situation where there's no consent here. She said she tried to separate herself from Platner. She said she couldn't be in the room anymore, after which he followed her to her bedroom, had sex with her against her will. She also said he ejaculated inside of her despite her telling him not to, as she was not using birth control at the time. She went to clean herself up, she said, and when she returned, Platner had fallen asleep. She contemplated waking him up to kick him out, but worried he could hurt someone driving in the state he was in. The following morning, she said Platner tried to put his arm around her and she pushed him away. She said she asked him whether he remembered what had happened the previous night. According to Rasico, Platner said he did not remember. Rasico said she told him to leave and never contact her again. She has some evidence in the form of various text messages that POLITICO's looked at. Obviously, a later boyfriend who recounted these details. This would have been well before Platner was this candidate for office that that story would have been shared. So Politico has some corroborating evidence here to support the woman's claims against Graham Platner. Now, why is it that that we are just hearing this story now? Oh, you are asking the right question when you ask that. Why is it that we're just hearing this story now? Well, it would help if I take you back to the beginning of June for a moment. Beginning of June, the New York Times ran a piece about Graham Platner's behavior towards women, including an allegation by a woman called Lindsay Fifield that Graham Platner had, on multiple occasions, physically manhandled her, had assaulted her, had grabbed her forcefully by the wrist, pulled her out of a car, grabbed her on one point by the shoulders, bruising her, spinning her around, forcing her into a room, closing the door behind her, locking her in, not letting her out until the next morning. These allegations were credible, they were on the record, and they were made by a woman who wanted the world to know them, who didn't want to see Graham Platner and his bad behavior rewarded. So Lindsey Fifield had come forward. But you'll remember at the time what had happened. The media had attacked Lindsay as being nothing more than some sort of right wing operative. Because Lindsey Fifield has worked in conservative politics. And therefore this was in the eyes of the media and certainly in the spin of the media, that just an invention. There's no way Graham Platner did this. Or at least they were heavily suggesting that Lindsey Fifield was lying on the record, staking her entire reputation on a claim that she was making up was a disaster. It was disgraceful the way Lindsey Fifield was treated. But what you may not remember is that Lindsay Fifield was not the only woman who was cited in that story. Multiple women were cited in that New York Times piece, including Jenny Rasico. That's right. Rasico is in the New York Times piece. But the New York Times didn't tell us any of this. The New York Times downplayed the allegations from Lindsey Rasico. They made it seem like they just kind of had a weird, uncomfortable relationship. Rasoko. This is what they say about her at the time. This is in the piece. Rasico, who said she agreed with many of Mr. Platner's policies, said she had an on and off relationship with Mr. Platner and had positive memories. What positive memories? But she was not shocked, she said, when she saw the incendiary comments he had made about women that have surfaced during the campaign. Quote, I was like, that makes sense. She said, this person does not respect women. Ms. Rasica also said that in 2021, he arrived at her house drunk after she had asked him not to come over. She declined to elaborate, but said she cut off contact soon after that episode and found his behavior reckless and unsettling. Okay, so why now? Why is it all of a sudden that this allegation is coming out specifically now? And what was the sequence of events here? Because it does seem like there were mounting scandals that were increasingly coming out over and over and over about Graham Platner. And the chatter on these scandals was not coming from conservative circles, Republican circles, not by and large, although some of it was picked up especially because of Lindsey Fifield's relationship with conservatives. One would assume that's why some of that conversation was taking place on the right. But on the left, the rumor mill was constantly buzzing. The next shoes about the drop. The next shoes about the drop. In fact, yesterday, the banger Daily News out of Maine had a big story about the fact that the next shoe was about to drop in a national news outlet about Graham Platner. And Democrats in the state were buzzing about it to the point that they thought it could be the end of his campaign. And sure enough, by yesterday afternoon, we get the political report involving Jenny Rasico's allegations. El Rasoko tells Politico that one of the reasons why it took her a while to come forward, why she wasn't, why she didn't rush forward in the first place. She said she was torn over the fact that she's a Democrat and she doesn't want to hurt him. This is the allegation. She first of all said the New York Times story treated her like crap. She said, my part of the story was just a read over. The story was Lindsay and the, and the accusations of her being politically motivated. She said she was torn over coming forward in part because she agrees with Platner politically. Quote, one of the reasons I didn't come forward sooner was the huge moral conflict that I had between supporting his politics but not supporting him as a person. She said, I just wanted the truth out there. I just want people to have a whole scope of who he is as a person. She says, okay, so she said she's tortured by the fact she's a Democrat, he's a Democrat. Now, let's, let's take her at face value for a moment on this subject. If the idea that you're gonna let the rapist guy become a senator because you kind of like his politics, so you think that's more important, sweetheart, you're going in the wrong direction. This is insane. This is totally insane. Free yourself of the Trump derangement syndrome. God bless her for coming forward and giving the, the details now. But this mindset, I think, is too dominant on the left. It is in. It is too much. It's like your politics are the most important thing. How about your well being? How about the well being of other women? How about the well being of our country? You're going to let this maniac become a United States senator when you know this dark detail about his life? Don't do that. Trump Derangement syndrome is a hell of a drug. Free yourself. Just tell the truth. That's all any of us should do. Just tell the truth. Live a life of integrity. When people on your side screw up, it's okay to say it out loud if you want a better country, help us get there. But don't make excuses for rapists just because they're a part of your political party. Now, in the end, of course, she arrives at this thing where she says, I'm going to tell the truth. I'm going to tell the truth about what happened, because I think that's the most important thing, and good for her. But what fascinates me about this is that there's no way that this detail was unknown to the New York Times. There was no. There was no way. There was no way that this detail did. These details were unknown to Democrats. They knew that they had a mess on their hands. And what they were trying to do throughout all of this was to get Graham Platner to leave this race. You see, Democrats have this tremendous and bottomless capacity to rig elections. They do it over and over. Every presidential election over the last three cycles has been rigged by the Democrat Party when it comes especially to their nominees. Look, in 2016, Hillary Clinton wasn't going to become the nominee. That was going to be Bernie Sanders. If Democrat primary voters got their way, the Democrats rigged the election. That led to Debbie Wasserman Shultz being fired as the chairwoman of the dnc. And that's how Hillary Clinton ends up with the nomination and giving that big speech at the Democrat national convention in 2020. That race was not going to go to Joe Biden. The energy was, in fact, behind Bernie Sanders in that race. And what did the Democrat establishment do? They rig the election. Barack Obama called all of the candidates, told them to get out of the race. Jim Clyburn gave his endorsement to Joe Biden in South Carolina in an effort to try and rig the outcome of the race and what would come next in the rest of the primary. And by virtue of Obama and Clyburn clearing the field for Biden, they made him the nominee, thus again rigging the race. And then, of course, it happened in theatrical fashion. In 2024, not a single primary voter supported Kamala Harris, and yet she became the Democrat nominee because the Democrat Party rigged the election to hand it to her. In fact, the Biden saga is kind of an excellent way to look at this, because, remember, you and I both knew that Biden was non compos mentis throughout his entire presidency. Democrats only admitted that detail the moment it was convenient to get rid of him so that they could replace him unceremoniously with Kamala Harris. That's the way these things work. The second you are inconvenient to the Democrat Party or you serve some sort of benefit to the Republicans, you're out. And we will do what we can. To destroy you. Do you remember what happened to Al Franken? Al Franken was destroyed in the midst of the Democrats trying to accuse Republicans of sexual allegations. And then when Al Franken's allegations emerged, they got rid of him. They dispensed with him in a second for political convenience. And, you know, and the same is true of Eric Swalwell. Eric Swalwell posed a meaningful threat to Democrats even making it to the general election ballot in the governor's race in California. You remember this? It wasn't that long ago. It just happened. In the governor's race, there was a threat that two Republic to the Democrats, that two Republicans could end up on the ballot for the race for governor in November because there were two Democrats too many Democrats in the field, and the vote was too diffuse. So they needed to clear the field. And how did they do it? They started opening the blackmail file on Eric Swalwell. So Swalwell, who is a Democrat lunatic in good standing, who was constantly raging about the President of the United States and accusing Trump supporters of the most awful things imaginable. The second he stood in their way, they said, well, we've got a good blackmail file on him. Let's open it up, let's distribute it, and let's get him out of the race. And sure enough, they did. And now we've got this happening to Graham Platner. Platner is a scumbag. There's no question. You and I have known that for a while. But Democrats all of a sudden are cracking open the blackmail file to get rid of him, because they see Graham Platner as a net drag on their party's ability to win in the midterms. You know, as you and I have assessed, if you look at the Democrats who are sort of like the. The mascots for their destruction going into the midterms, one of them, of course, has been Graham Platner, the Nazi tattoo guy. We're not Nazis. The SPLC is paying for cross burnings, and one of their leading candidates has a Nazi tattoo stamped on his chest. The other guy that I'm keeping my eye on, that I think is a net drag for Democrats is James Talafrico down in Texas. Talafrico is a disaster. The guy says that God is non binary and that God approves abortion, and that God, you know, left abortion out of the Bible, and therefore I got to write the parts where I say that abortion is good. Now, again, his theology is completely jacked up. Demonic God, but the point, non binary.
Jake Tapper
Yes.
Vince Coglianese
Thank you. Josh, the point is Talafrica is going to be a net drag on Democrats going into the midterms, just like this dude Platner. So they gave him the ax. They just. They just gave him that. They're chasing him out of this race now. Platner at this moment is denying the allegations against him and he's taking the time to reflect on the best path forward. Take a look here. Cut three. This is Graham Plattner's statement on the subject.
Graham Platner
I wanted to directly address the troubling, serious and false allegations against me. Any accusation of non consensual behavior is categorically false. Over the last 10 months, I have been deeply humbled by the faith Mainers have put in me. You have welcomed me into your homes, into your places of work, into your restaurants, into your houses of worship. You have shown that a different kind of politics, one that puts the interests of people over corporations, is not just possible, but is inevitable. This movement, we have built the largest volunteer base in the history of Maine politics. The hundreds of thousands of grassroots donors and the supporters across the ideological spectrum. We were united in a love of main a belief that our politics must change and a focus on defeating Susan Collins. So regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful the political reality it will inflict, we are taking the time to reflect on the best path forward for the state that I love, the people that I love, the movement I belong to, and the goal of defeating Susan Collins.
Vince Coglianese
Okay, Those were the goals. So Maze Moore has noticed that. The great Maze Moore has noticed that. This sounds awfully familiar. Where have I seen this before? In fact, I feel like I just saw this recently. Where was that?
Jake Tapper
Take a look.
Eric Swalwell
A lot has been said about me today through anonymous allegations. And I thought it was important that you see and hear from me directly.
Graham Platner
I wanted to directly address the troubling, serious and false allegations against me.
Eric Swalwell
These allegations of sexual assault are flat false. They are absolutely false.
Graham Platner
Any accusation of non consensual behavior is categorically false.
Eric Swalwell
They also come on the eve of an election where I have been the frontrunner candidate for governor in California.
Graham Platner
Regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful of the political reality it will inflict.
Eric Swalwell
I do not suggest to you in any way that I'm perfect or that I'm a saint.
Graham Platner
I have been deeply humbled by the faith Mainers have put in me.
Eric Swalwell
I think you know who I am. For over 20 years, I have served the public.
Graham Platner
You have welcomed me into your homes, into your places of work, into your restaurants, into your houses of worship.
Eric Swalwell
I also apologize to you if in any way you have doubted your support from me throughout it all.
Graham Platner
You never turned your back on me.
Eric Swalwell
This weekend, I'm going to spend time with my family and friends.
Graham Platner
We are taking the time to reflect on the best path forward.
Vince Coglianese
Swal. The only difference is that Platner had a better camera, a better lens. That's the only difference. Swal filmed it on an iPhone, but they had the same script. It was the same rigamarole. We were watching it happen again. So it kind of at this point looks like Platner is. Is done. So that she's done that. He's done rather. And more. I want to get into this a little more in a moment because the media has obviously played a massive role here in the way that this story, just like, you know, covering up Joe Biden's lack of a brain, this is that the media has also been very involved in covering up for Graham Platner's lack of any sort of moral compass whatsoever. Lack of decency, lack of virtue. But suddenly they're now admitting it. More in a moment on that subject. But first, I want to thank one of the great sponsors who make our program possible. Brickhouse Nutrition is amazing. People have been trying to turn to the weight loss injections to lose weight because they're looking for dramatic results. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. And it's not a substitute or alternative for care from a healthcare provider or thanks to Brick House. Okay, so what's the media doing with the Graham Platner story? Well, a couple of things. One, of course, the New York Times didn't tell us the truth at the time because they were trying to mitigate the damage for Graham Platner. But clearly there were Democrats who were ahead of the New York Times on this subject who were trying to throw him out of the race. Oh, no, he's gonna hurt us. We won't be able to win in Maine. It's gonna hurt us nationwide. Let's get rid of him. And so now they've done it. They've taken it to the next level. And then there's places like MIZ now, the left wing lesbian cable network, where they are talking about how they didn't believe Lindsey Fifield because she's right wing, but they believe the later person, Rasico, because she's a Democrat. Cut one, watch this to that comment
Miz Now Host
about the sort of post MeToo era and the debate that sort of happened in the Democratic Party after this, the series of allegations around Graham Platner. Part of, I think what made it complicated for some Democrats to fully believe the woman who was at the center of the last round was that she was associated with right wing politics. But this woman, she. I wanna read part of what's out here. One of the reasons she says to Politico I didn't come forward sooner was the huge moral conflict that I had between supporting his politics. So she is saying, I actually agree with Graham Platner, his positions, his politics. She's clearly more on the left, but not supporting him as a person. I just want the truth out there. I just want people to have a whole scope of who he is as a person.
Vince Coglianese
You know, it's interesting how the left is as handling this. It's of course like the most demented possible analysis. But, you know, whereas lefties are looking at this going why thing, she must be credible because she comes from our side. You can't believe anything. And somebody on the right would say, but somebody on the left, they're everything. They always tell the truth. Yeah, sure. About things like what gender, about what happens to a baby when you abort them. No, they don't tell the truth. The whole thing, it's like ridiculous. But oh, she's believable. Actually, I think the most interesting thing about this is she's a Democrat who's wielding this story now in the interest of getting him out of the race at the most opportune possible moment. Actually, I think the timing here is super interesting because the timing is really important. Here's what's going on right now. Democrats at this moment have a small but dwindling moment in time to replace Graham Platner. They do in Maine. Here's how it works. Under Maine law, Graham Platner can be replaced as the Democrat nominee for Senate if he withdraws from the race by next week, Monday. Next week, Monday. If he gets out by Monday, that's July 13th. Then state law allows the Democrat Party in Maine to replace him by July 27. So the allegation, the woman is wielding her allegation. Jenny Rasico is wielding her allegation at the last possible moment for Democrats to replace him in the race. That's the timing of this. Now, she did an interview with Jake Tapper yesterday. In addition to going to Politico, she did an interview with Jake Tapper. And that led to a very weird question from Jake Tapper. I. It's almost like I, like Jake Tapper, built some sort of weird trap for himself. And by the end of it, listen to how he asked the question he's asking her why she, quote, let him rape you. One of the weirdest questions I've ever heard asked in an interview. Cut to watch this.
Jake Tapper
You said that. I just want to find out more about. You said he was forcing himself on you. It was getting violent. You were pushing him off, you were kicking him off. Needles and sewing equipment was falling all over. And walk us through the process where you decided that the safest thing you could do was just let him rape you.
Jenny Rasico
Yeah. I had never been in that situation before. And I realized, I remember it being an instant where I had recognized that he wasn't listening to me. It wasn't just that he wasn't hearing me or whatnot. And then I recognized his level of intoxication. And I knew in that moment I wasn't safe. And I don't think I was. I don't think I was safe to physically fight back. He's big, he's strong. And I just had to evaluate my safety and come up with the least worst outcome to the situation. And so I felt like complying for my safety was the least worst option.
Jake Tapper
But that's not consenting.
Jenny Rasico
No, complying is not consenting.
Jake Tapper
Complying is letting him rape you is
Vince Coglianese
getting it over with so that he
Jake Tapper
didn't hurt you even more.
Jenny Rasico
I don't. I don't know what this person is capable of. I don't. You know, I don't think anybody does. And even people you know for years and trust you, you don't know the depths of what they're capable of.
Jake Tapper
And you were afraid for your safety?
Jenny Rasico
Yeah, I was afraid for my safety.
Jake Tapper
Beyond. Not that rape isn't a horrific thing, but beyond.
Jenny Rasico
I didn't want to find out how unsafe I could get that night or how, how harmed I could be that night.
Vince Coglianese
You know, why did he do that? Why would you even ask a question like that? Isn't that self explanatory? Graham Platner is bigger than her. He can hurt her. This the. What. Why would you even ask that? Like, can you explain why it is that you allowed the rape to happen? And when I say that, I know that sounds awkward, it sounds like you consented to. What are you doing? Just stop. Don't. You don't have to do this. You don't even do that. That's crazy to me. You, you could just not ask that question. You could just not do that. But he did anyways. Crazy. What a crazy exchange. But there she is, telling her story, telling her story. Now, having said that, not all Democrats have received the script. There are some Democrats who are all in on. Let's get Graham Platner out now. We've got very little time left. We got to replace him. We got to rig this whole election. But on Ms. Now there's a goofball called Charles, Charles Blow, which is, I think he's well named because all of his analysis blows. Here's Charles Blow instantly defending Graham Platner yesterday and suggesting that maybe he should stay in the race.
Jake Tapper
Watch this.
Charles Blow
Well, the first thing I always want to say in situations like this is that sounds horrible and we deserve to hear her more of her case. If she wants to pursue other actions, I think she should be encouraged to do that and we should wait to hear more of her case. But the second thing I want to say is that we continue to have a situation where Democrats and Republicans are playing by completely separate rule books the idea that this would push him out of the race. Maybe that's the right thing to do. But Donald Trump was found liable of sexually abusing a woman. And then eight months later, a separate jury found him guilty of liable for defamation of her. And then 10 months after that, he was still elected. Christine Blasey Ford gave, I thought, compelling testimony against Brett Kavanaugh about what she said she was raped. He was still confirmed by Republicans in the Senate. We are just on two different ball fields when it comes to cases like this, situations like this and politics.
Vince Coglianese
Everything about that was idiocy. From the lies that e Jean Carroll has told to the political hit job that that amounted to, paid for by Reid Hoffman, psycho left wing billionaire who's made it his life's mission to try and destroy Trump. To the rigged juries that they tried to use to approach that case. To the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh that were thoroughly defeated by a woman called Leland Kaiser, who was supposed to be Christine Blasey Ford's best friend, who has no recollection whatsoever of any of the allegations that Christine Blasey Ford made against Brett Kavanaugh and said Leland was there. Leland's like, what the hell you talking about? I wasn't there. It, it's, there's nothing to it. There's nothing to it. At least in Jenny Rasico's case, she's got actual on the record support. On the record claims, credible accusations, contemporaneous text messages. She's got evidence, unlike the rest of these whack jobs. Massive difference. But that's not going to stop Charles Blow from appearing on Miz now again. They'll have him back no matter what. He'll say anything. Get him back on the air. He'll say anything. So that's it. So we'll, we'll see who they replace the guy with. Their, their plan is to replace him. I wasn't the only one who noticed that this was a left wing political hit job, by the way. The way this is, this is transpiring again. Don't, don't confuse my words. Graham Platner is a scumbag. You and I have known this for a while. The fact that Democrats are admitting it right now, well, this is political timing. This is designed to rig the outcome of this election. They really want that seat and they don't want Susan Collins to maintain it. Sean Farish also noticed this. He said the new Platner scandal is a Politico exclusive. This is 100% an intra party Democrat hit job. They did this with Cuomo in the 2022 New York governor cycle, Biden in the 2024 presidential cycle, now Platner in 2026. If they feel you can't win, they throw you in front of a freight train and they keep moving, voters be damned. Yeah, that's the other piece of. This is Sean's right. The voters in Maine, even despite the fact that he's got this disastrous history, much of which has been public primary, voters in Maine did choose this guy to represent their party. And now establishment Democrats are saying, up yours, we're going to replace him.
Jenny Rasico
Okay.
Vince Coglianese
All right. So we'll see what happens. It's up to Platner at this moment, but they're doing everything they can to throw him out of the race. He's got until Monday to drop so they can do something about this. And the pressure is on. Clearly. A lot more ahead, including what the hell's going on at the National Museum of American History. The White House has just released a report on the subject. And, well, it is insane how destructive the people that are running that operation are being to our history. Jenny Rasico
Let's see.
Vince Coglianese
Yeah, he's dead. Okay, let's see. I've got some information now about the National Museum of American History. I want to share with you brand new information. This is right out of the White House that they're giving us today. And it is an amazing recitation of all of the ways the American History Museum is a complete disaster. It's a complete disaster. It's being run right now by these left wing activists who have destroyed it and undermined the founding mission entirely of the museum. From the very beginning of the museum, when it was set up, it was designed to tell America's story in a way that, you know, really kind of made you like the country more, appreciate the great history, the legacy that you're inheriting. And that is not the current state of affairs at the National Museum of American History. Instead, they've got these left wing activists who are running the operation and, and telling people that they should hate America. I don't know how much more explicit I can be on this. In fact, last week we had Dr. Matt Spalding on the program and I was asking him about this because he's taken a special interest in it. And he said by the time you leave the museum, you have a lower regard for America. If you don't know better, they're trying to convince you of this. So in the midst of the America250 celebrations, the White House released what they call Saving America story. How ideological capture at the Smithsonian Institutions National Museum of American History erases our heritage. Erases our heritage. And in it, they very Quickly point out that the founding mission of this museum was to uplift your understanding of American history. In making their case to Congress in 1953, Smithsonian leadership argued that one of the quote, main reasons the National Museum of American History should be created is to place before millions who visit the nation's capital each year a stimulating permanent exposition that commemorates our heritage of freedom and, and highlights the basic elements of our way of life. They go on. It's about telling the story of American national progress, cementing America's progress for citizens and foreign visitors alike. To instill in each citizen a deepened faith in our country's destiny as champion of individual dignity and enterprise. So basically, in other words, it goes on and on talking about, like, look, the point is to tell a great story about America's founding in why this is such a great country, how we ended up with a great country in the first place, what the legacy is, and Americans and foreigners alike will walk away with a great impression of the circumstances. Wonderful. That's exactly what a National Museum of American History should be doing. But that's not what it's doing. That's not what it's doing at all. And let me give you some examples of what the modern National Museum of American History is doing. And it's being led by a whack job woman called Anthea Hartig, who is the current director, a left wing activist. But here's the White House. They summarized some of this on their great Rapid Response 47 account. They said, here's some of the worst examples of what's going on at the museum. So let's go into item one. Right? A museum supposedly for families and children displays a sadomasochistic crotch horn harness. What the hell is a crotch harness? What is that? That

A crotch har. What the hell am I looking at? This is in the National Museum of American History.

Vince Coglianese
Were the Wright brothers wearing this when they took off. What the hell is the National Museum of American History doing with crotch harnesses? What am I looking at here? They have a crotch harness, okay? A crotch harness. A trans non binary person's chest binder. A chest binder. This is when a chest binder, as I unfortunately now understand, is when you try and compress a little girl's chest so so much that it can't grow. You try to.
CNN Anchor
You're.
Vince Coglianese
You're harming little girls. This is what the left is into. And then Pages from a 6 year old girl's diary in which she prays every night for my penis to grow. So the National Museum of American History celebrates mental illness and the abuse of children. The White House says the sick material is sexualizing kids. A crotch harness. Again, I was like, what? Okay, we go on. The museum also features video clips of drag queens, images of nude women, and a magazine promoting female masturbation. Yeah, I remember that. That's from the Continental Congress. That was a. That was a big thing. That was from the second Continental Congress is when things got a little bit. A little bit more risque. What? It's sick. And it's explicit content pushed on visitors of all ages at an American history museum. Look at this. You got drag queens. You got drag queen story hour going at the National Museum of American History. They have the magazine covers of the Dixie Chicks naked. They have whatever the hell this is, girl germs, women hanging all over each other, no shirts on. What is this museum? Look son American history. They also have smeared iconic pieces of our culture as racist. Mickey Mouse is described as the vestiges of long standing traditions of blackface minstrelsy. Oh, boy. The ukulele is also described as a product of US imperialism. Oh, really? Man, it has produced some great music, hasn't it? The ukulele? You know one of my favorite ukulele players, the late and very large Israel Kamakaviva.

You know him from his rendition of it. What was the. What's the song? Oh, my gosh. Somewhere over the Rainbow. Yeah, I'm sorry. Somewhere over the Rainbow. Great song. And a lot of other. A lot of other great songs. And then there's Wild west shows they describe as turning the subjugation of indigenous people into theater. What the hell's going on here? They have, they have. Of course they have social justice nonsense in the museum. Has anybody been to this museum lately? In chat? Have you seen all of this when you went. This is. What museum is. This says Porsche LO7. It's the national Museum of American History. Look, you can even see it in this little graphic right here. The National Museum of American History is what I'm looking at. They share histories that quote, begin with people show interactions and influences across ethnicity, race, region, class, gender and sexuality, disability, background and belief. They illuminate how power works. This is. This is neo Marxism stuff, guys. This is what we're looking at here. This is critical theory, Marxist nonsense. The President just gave a huge speech this weekend on the. For the 250th birthday of the country and he said that we can't be a communist nation. Commies are currently running the National Museum of American History. Jim Rome takes on sports.

Follow and listen on your favorite platform. What else have they found? They reframed America's founding that museum has as a story of pure evil. Christopher Columbus is described as a murderer, a slaver and a thief. Christopher Columbus is a hero. He's an adventurer. Christopher Columbus is an essential ingredient to our history. Christopher Columbus. It was understood so early by Americans that Christopher Columbus had immense importance to this continent that we named everything after him, including the very city in which the National Museum of American History is currently in. Christian pilgrims are described as colonizers. This is a part of the anti Christian bigotry of the museum. And Thanksgiving is described as a national day of mourning. What are you even talking about? They don't even know the actual history of Thanksgiving. A national day of mourning. What a pathetic attempt to pretend like you're telling American history. They want you to feel shame for being an American. They have an entire display called the Unsettling of the continent. From 1492. You know, when Columbus sailed the ocean blue to 1776. That would be the American founding. It was the Unsettling of the continent. Unsettling the continent? No, it was settling the continent. It was conquering the continent. It was building a civilization on the continent. It was building America. In the Benjamin Franklin exhibit, they devote 20% of the space to enslaved people and asked visitors whether Franklin conducted electric shock experiments on slaves. With zero evidence, they take one of America's greatest minds and smear him with baseless accusations. Their toolkit for museum professionals lists rational thinking and hard work as traits of white supremacy. Culture anti white racism has is being taught as official museum guidance. Yeah, this goes back to remember the African American History Museum in Washington D.C. they had a similar handout that they were using at one point where they were saying that hard work and rational thinking and punctuality that would be showing up on time is these are white traits, said the African American History Museum, thus suggesting that that black people are incapable of doing those things. That's the African American History Museum led by lunatic leftists who when they built the museum, intentionally excluded Clarence Thomas from the African American History Museum. What? You can't recite African American history without invoking Clarence Thomas's name. And so it's the same thing at the American History Museum where they treat non white people like garbage. Like they're incapable of rational thinking, hard work, punctuality. Punctuality. This is not, this is not, I don't know, what do they call it? Progressive? It's not, it's not enlightened thinking. This is like straight up caveman thinking. This is two dimensional, absolutely tribal, absolutely bigoted, disgusting thinking. And they have the audacity, the temerity to lecture you. Oh, you're a racist.
Jake Tapper
What?
Vince Coglianese
You're the person who says that a non white person's incapable of hardworking. Yeah, it's the, it's the same garbage over and over. This is inside of our museum. Angela Davis. They also elevate you, as many of you probably know, Angela Davis, Marxist. She ran for vice president as a communist in 1980. She called for abolishing the police and jails. She was among the FBI's most wanted regarding an armed courtroom takeover that resulted in the murder of a judge. This is who the Smithsonian is choosing to celebrate. So the White House has released this massive report. Now, what's to be done about this? That's a great question. Well, one, to the extent that the administration can exert control over this and quickly, they need to fire everybody involved. They need to fire everybody. It's starting with this woman, Anthony. Anthea Hartig. Get her the hell out of there. Check her out. Anthea Hartig. I posted about this on X this morning. She's a left wing activist. She's currently running the museum. She's the director of the museum. When she arrived, she changed the museum's mission statement into a bunch of social justice claptrap. And here's the old mission statement. Ready? The last mission was. Through incomparable collections, rigorous research, and dynamic public outreach, we explore the infinite richness and complexity of American history. We help people understand the past in order to make sense of the present and shape a more humane future. The new mission doesn't mention American history. All it says is this. Empowering people to create a more just and compassionate future. Because the old future, the old, the past sucks. The old future, the past sucks. Is this is, is the implication here by exploring, preserving and sharing the complexity of our past. So why did she change it? What, what's the mentality here? Well, she told a group, actually in June of 2024, that would be now two years ago, June of 2024, in a presentation to undergraduate and graduate history students, she explained that she made the change in order to help people, quote, get out of the America first mentality. She doesn't want people to think America first anymore. She doesn't want somebody to walk into the American History Museum and think it's great. She said, quote, it's a big challenge, especially going into 2026, which will be the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of independence. The 25th year since 9 11, and the fifth year since January 6th. That. Oh, that tells you everything. The fifth year since January 6th, that's the high holy day of the American Left. Peace be upon them. This is her view, is, oh, well, we've got to. We've got to really dwell on January 6th of 2021, because it was an insurrection, you see, caused by President Trump, the America first guy. And we can't let this museum be America first anymore. That can't happen. We need to get rid of that. You know what? We need to get rid of you. We need to get rid of you and every propagandistic pile of garbage that you have built into this museum. Now, I'm already seeing the left's reactions to this report from the White House. The left is making all sorts of claims. Oh, Trump wants to whitewash American history. He wants to tell people a lie. He wants to give them propaganda.
Donald Trump
Trump.
Vince Coglianese
Lie after lie after lie. In fact, it's. It's so over the top, so theatrical and so predictable because it's the. And now it's time for the Left Fake Scandal of the Week. Extra, extra. No, it's. It's not that at all. In fact, what we want to do is tell the truth. We want to tell the truth about the richness of American history. We want people to know how great this country is. We want them to know what our founders endured in putting that up, putting it together. We want them to know about our founders pledging their lives and their fortunes and their sacred honor, putting it all on the line to get this constitutional republic standing, to get us to a point with the. That we could create an environment for the greatest human flourishing in world history. We want that history to be told. We want the history to be told in all of its complexity, including the story of slavery and the Civil War, abolition, the cost of American blood that it took to end slavery. We want that story to be told. We want stories to be told about Frederick Douglass, who called for us to look to the Declaration of Independence as inspiration for where we should be as a country. A man who was in bondage, who escaped bondage and appealed to the United States to live up to its highest virtues. We should be able to reflect upon the history of Booker T. Washington, a man who also escaped slavery, who reflected on what it meant to be a slave, what it meant to be able to forge ahead for your own future and what makes this country so great. Booker T. Washington recognized those things. We should be able to dwell upon the complexities of American history. All the ways Democrats have tried to set us back, how they've tried to maintain slavery in the United States, how they fought to prevent black Americans from having civil rights, how the Republican Party was founded as an abolition party, as a party that fought for civil liberties, that has fought in throughout its entire history for a colorblind meritocracy. This, this history should be told. The history of our country in the last century. The defeat of totalitarian regimes, defeating fascism, defeating communism, defeating the Marxists, freeing the world, winning multiple world wars, heroism, creating the greatest military the world has ever seen, landing on the moon. Our history should be told in all of its richness, in all of its complexity, in a museum, in that honors American history and tells it correctly. Don't leave anything out, but don't you lie to us. Don't you tell me that I live in a crappy country. Don't you dishearten people when they walk in? Because, I mean, that really is. Isn't that the left project to demean the country, to dissuade you from loving it. This is why people. This is why Democrats don't fly American flags outside of their homes. They've become so thoroughly convinced that this country is not worth celebrating that they don't want to raise an American flag in its honor. They're afraid somebody's going to think of them as a Republican. Only those dumb Republicans would love their country. No, actually, informed people love their country. People who know their country's history love their country. You should know it. And right now, the National Museum of American History doesn't help you in that endeavor, which is really awful. So, yeah, this desperately needs to be fixed. This is. This is a staggering report. I encourage you to take a look at it. I'm not even all the way through it. I've just been going through it and my jaw has hit the floor. And as I always say, it's. It's not shocking, but it is appalling and it's in desperate need of being fixed. So I wanted to bring that to you. We're going to stay on it. We'll have to have Dr. Matt Spalding on again because we got to talk to him about what's going on there and the efforts to fix it. Because on the board of the Smithsonian, you should know one, the vice president of the United States has some power here, J.D. vance, he's a part of, I believe this is the Board of Regents. This is the way it operates. I'm not staring at it, but he's got a meaningful position on the board by virtue of his office. Another guy who has a position on the board is the Chief justice of the United States. That's John Roberts. He wields some influence over this as well. And I know Justice John Roberts has has driven us crazy and disappointed us from time to time. But if there's ever been a time for him to step up, it's now Chief Justice Roberts, Vice President Vance and anybody else who's a part of making decisions on this subject move quickly. We need to rescue America's museums and tell our story correctly. We really do. As always, I want to thank you for being with me. It's been great. Before we go today, one more thing for you. I want to tell you about the Trump accounts that President Trump announced yesterday before he left for this Naito Summ. By the way, he just arrived in Turkey this morning on that brand new beautiful looking Air Force One. But here's President Trump yesterday announcing Trump accounts. And if you have a child or if you have a newborn on the way, let me recommend to you that you consider using a Trump account in order to start generating some wealth for them. What a brilliant thing. Here's President Trump yesterday announcing it cut 6.
Donald Trump
But if parents have not done so already and they are doing so in record numbers, they should go right away to TrumpAccounts.gov and sign their child up for a free investment savings account. And again, a lot of people are people that are uninvolved in terms of they don't have the children but, or their children are older, but they're putting millions and millions of dollars into the accounts of poor children, financially poor children. And the parents can't even believe what's happening. So it's an amazing thing. But parents, loved ones, churches and generous companies and individuals will be able to contribute funds to these accounts to grow throughout the child's life. And again, if we have a good market like we do now, they're going to become actually very rich. They'll have hundreds of thousands of Dollars. Think of that. Think of it. A child that has no money can have hundreds of thousands of dollars at a very, very young age. Accounts could grow to be worth numbers that nobody ever thought even possible.
Vince Coglianese
What a brilliant idea. And so the way it works is these, these are tax advantaged accounts. When the child turns 18, they can turn into a traditional IRA. They invest in a broad index fund of the s and P500, and then they succeed with the market. Their wealth grows as American businesses do, and that child gets a piece of the action. You know, speaking as a parent, I remember when my daughter was born and people would send, you know, birthday checks and baptism checks and these types of things, trying to figure out what to do. And I think sometimes parents, especially when the child is at the age of cognition and they can think through what they might do with the money, they'll often hand the money to the kid, but go buy yourself a present or we'll go pick out something together. But there's another option. You can save it. You know, when a family member stuff some money in an envelope or in a birthday card and sends it to the kid, you just put it right into the Trump account. Or better yet, tell them, hey, can you just contribute right to the Trump account? In fact, with each trump account, there's a QR code so family members and friends can give to the kid by virtue of helping to populate their Trump account and allowing that wealth to grow through the years. It's, I think it's phenomenal. I think it's wonderful. And if you involve your child, you can teach them about financial literacy. You can teach them what, what compound interest means, how it works, how you can generate wealth, how you can invest, how you can watch your money grow and work for you. And if they get that, if they get that lesson early in life, it's going to carry them very far for the rest of their life. It's a big deal. How many of us look back at time and man, I wish I started investing earlier. Just imagine the gift that you can give to a child before they can even think about it. So it is pretty amazing. In fact, it's so amazing that even CNN was raving about it yesterday. Even CNN cut seven. Watch this.
CNN Anchor
Yeah, Dana, when the free money machine is open and they're giving out a thousand dollars, I think a lot of people want to know, how do I get that? So if you have a child that was born in 20, 25 or beyond, then you can get this Trump account. As long as you're a US Citizen and you have a valid Social Security number for your kid. And actually if you apply for a Social Security number, you can now apply for a Trump account at the same time with the same form. So what are the rules? How do you get this? Well, you can contribute $5,000 a year tax free, tax deductible investments in a low cost index fund. That's like the S&P 500. Remember, the S&P 500 made 300% over the past 10 years. That could be a really good investment. But you know, even if you don't invest in it, it's a pretty good deal. And you can use it for things like college, obviously, because when you're 18, that's one of the places that you're going. But you may not, you might want to use it for your first home. You can even just keep it in your account and use it for retirement. If you use it for something that's not one of these, though, then you do get a 10% penalty and you have to pay those taxes that I mentioned before. Now, if you do not contribute to this and you just keep $1,000 still with a 10% return, which is pretty conservative over the past 10 years, look at this. You can still walk away with $5,500 for college or something else like that. Now, that's not going to pay. If you do max out your contributions, you're talking about some really serious money, about a quarter million dollars by the time your child is 18, assuming that 10% return. So the question is, how do I get this? Well, of course it is IRS form 4547. Why do you think that might be, Dana? And it is the TrumpAccounts.gov where you can sign up for all of this.
Vince Coglianese
TrumpAccounts.gov that was a very helpful recitation of the details. The one thing they left out is that any child under the age of 18 is eligible to sign up for a Trump account. That limited window, the 2025-2028 births, those are the ones who get the $1,000 federal government contribution in their account. That's the, that's the distinction. But everybody else, anybody under the age of 18, you can get a Trump account. So if you had an older child, they're good to go to. They're good to go to. Very cool. My thanks to the President for, for thinking on about this. And it's, I think it's going to be great for a lot of people and it's just so great to spend some time with you as always. You're the best. Host: Vince Coglianese
Date: July 7, 2026
Network: Cumulus Podcast Network
This episode centers on the unraveling political saga of Graham Platner, the embattled Democratic U.S. Senate candidate from Maine. Vince Coglianese delivers sharp analysis on the latest sexual assault allegations against Platner, the political timing behind their surfacing, the role of party and media in managing scandals, and how such events fit a broader Democratic pattern of candidate control and narrative management. The episode closes with a separate, impassioned segment critiquing the National Museum of American History's ideological direction and celebrates the introduction of federal Trump Accounts for children's savings.
[02:24–16:00]
Serious Allegations Surface:
Vince recaps new, detailed accusations that Graham Platner sexually assaulted former girlfriend Jenny Rasico in late 2021. Rasico, a Democrat, claims Platner forced himself on her despite clear rejection and against her will.
“A woman who dated Maine U.S. senate candidate Graham Platner says he forced her to have sex with him nearly five years ago despite her repeated objections, an allegation that Platner denies.”—Vince ([02:40])
Corroboration and Timeline:
The Politico report is built on three interviews, supporting documentation including emails to a therapist, and corroboration from Rasico's later boyfriend.
Pattern of Behavior:
Vince recounts other recent allegations, including those from Lindsay Fifield (previously dismissed by media as 'right-wing motivated'), which garnered less Democratic concern or media traction until now.
Media and Party Timing:
Vince emphasizes the party and media only act on such scandals when they threaten Democratic prospects, suggesting strategic, rather than moral, motives.
“There’s no way that this detail was unknown to the New York Times...they knew that they had a mess on their hands. And what they were trying to do throughout all of this was to get Graham Platner to leave this race.”—Vince ([12:36])
[14:30–17:50]
Historical Precedents:
Vince argues Democrats have a history of timing damaging revelations to force out problematic candidates — citing Hillary Clinton (2016), Joe Biden (2020), Kamala Harris (2024), Al Franken, and Eric Swalwell as examples.
“Democrats have this tremendous and bottomless capacity to rig elections. They do it over and over.”—Vince ([14:48])
Platner as the Latest Target:
Platner’s political viability is blamed for the sudden openness of the party and media to the allegations, with Vince asserting similar patterns will be used for any candidate who ceases to be useful.
“Democrats all of a sudden are cracking open the blackmail file to get rid of him, because they see Graham Platner as a net drag on their party’s ability to win in the midterms.”—Vince ([16:10])
[17:19–20:22]
Scripted Denials:
Vince and producer Maze Moore compare Platner’s public denial to a virtually identical video by Eric Swalwell (played back-to-back), mocking the performative aspect.
“The only difference is that Platner had a better camera, a better lens. That’s the only difference. Swal filmed it on an iPhone...same script.”—Vince ([20:22])
Platner’s Statement:
Platner calls the allegations “categorically false” and lauds his movement, but signals he may need to reconsider his campaign.
“Regardless of the inaccuracy of the reporting, but mindful the political reality it will inflict, we are taking the time to reflect on the best path forward…”—Graham Platner ([17:50])
[20:30–30:30]
Selective Credibility:
Coverage on outlets like “MIZ Now” is called out for only believing accusers who are Democrats. Vince criticizes the timing, implying it’s designed to allow party leaders to replace Platner before election deadlines.
“She’s a Democrat who’s wielding this story now in the interest of getting him out of the race at the most opportune possible moment.”—Vince ([23:44])
Jake Tapper’s Interview with Rasico:
Vince recounts and critiques Jake Tapper’s awkward questions to Rasico, particularly asking why she “let him rape you,” which both Tapper and Rasico clarify as not consent.
Tapper: “Walk us through the process where you decided that the safest thing you could do was just let him rape you.” ([25:57])
Rasico: “I just had to evaluate my safety and come up with the least worst outcome to the situation. And so I felt like complying for my safety was the least worst option.” ([26:31])
Commentary on Party and Media:
Guest Charles Blow is critiqued for comparing the calls for Platner’s exit to how Republicans handled Trump and Kavanaugh. Vince says Rasico’s claims are much better substantiated.

Vince Coglianese’s delivery is animated and unapologetically conservative, with biting humor and sarcasm directed at political opponents, institutions, and mainstream media. He deploys analogies, historical asides, and rapid-fire critiques to dissect topics. The tone vacillates between righteous indignation, sardonic wit, and moments of earnestness, especially regarding financial advice and civic values.
“Is This The End for Graham Platner?” is a densely packed episode that serves as a case study in political crisis management, intra-party discipline, and media bias through the lens of the latest sexual assault allegations against a high-profile Democratic Senate candidate. Vince Coglianese connects Platner’s likely political demise to broader patterns of Democratic power consolidation and media complicity, then pivots to scathing commentary on the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and a practical endorsement of Trump’s new savings accounts for children. The episode is a blend of hardline conservative commentary, replayed media moments, and calls to action against perceived cultural and political decay.
