Everybody's so nice. Let's see well, not everybody. You know who I'm talking about. You know exactly who I'm talking about. Let's see, the President of the United States just made an interesting announcement yesterday afternoon. The President's going to be giving a big speech on Thursday evening, 9pm Eastern time. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this matter. And that's interesting because he didn't actually say what he's going to talk about. Now having said that, the CNBC, well actually Ms. Now has declared that President Trump intends to give a speech about declassified 2020 election intelligence. Well, that's fascinating. President Trump plans to claim in a speech Thursday that newly declassified intelligence reports reveal a foreign nation's plans to interfere in the 2020 presidential election. Ms. Now reports CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte, FBI Director Cash Patel and Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen will all join Trump. According to Miz Now, Trump earlier said he would make a speech to the nation on Thursday evening, 9pm Eastern, without providing further details. Okay, so let me start with the, the first question that immediately comes to my mind. Why the hell would the White House give this scoop to Ms. Now? Does that add up for anybody? The hell is this exactly? Why is Miz now getting the scoop on this subject? That doesn't make any sense to me. You would, one would think that it would be some great truth telling conservative news outlet that would get the scoop on this subject. Yet Miz now is claiming that it's the case. Now having said that, there are now other outlets that are adding some texture to this. Axios has a report up this morning saying that Trump intends to have a potpourri primetime speech on Thursday. This is Mark Caputo who wrote this. He said, he says that the White House is slated to have President Trump's speech that includes election integrity, an update on Iran and whatever else he deems important. So it won't be just limited to election integrity. But the second I saw this yesterday, for those of you who were with me on the big national radio show, we were talking about this as the news broke. I was like, guys, was it, Yeah, I think, yeah, it was during the, yeah, it was. When the radio show, during the radio show I said, guys, I think we're getting a Save America act update. You know, remember Lindsey Graham obviously passed away this weekend and in his final conversation with the President of the United States before his untimely death. Was it untimely? I mean, I guess he's old, but regardless you know, it's unfortunate, his unfortunate passing. He's talking about the Save America Act. The President said this was his big push, that he was coming back to Washington, having just got back from Ukraine. And he said, Mr. President, I think we're ready to push forward on the Save America Act. The pieces are all in place. We're going to meet on Sunday. That was the plan for Lindsey Graham and President Trump to meet up and talk about the strategy here. And so come this Thursday. Does the President have an agenda item when it comes to election integrity? Absolutely. It's the Save America act, ladies and gentlemen. Obviously, since we're talking about it, a gavel in on the Save America Act. This has to happen. And so I anticipate that the President is going to be on this issue. Axios is now claiming that that is something he'll push this Thursday. The President wants to pass the Save America Act. They describe it as a strict voter ID law that stalled in Congress. I would call it a sensible voter idea law, a necessary voter idea law, a valuable, wonderful voter ideal law. You know, I was on with. I was on the Newsmax channel last night with Rob Finnerty. For any of you watch Newsmax, perhaps you saw me showing up there and Finnerty raised, I thought a really, a really smart point. You know, back after John F. Kennedy's assassination, his, his untimely demise, remember, JFK was pushing the Civil Rights Act. And when LBJ comes into office, he makes it his priority to continue JFK's push and get it done quickly. And they do get it done relatively quickly. Now, this was in the face of a lot of Democrat opposition. It took a mighty filibuster. You noticing any parallels? It took a mighty filibuster. Republicans were the reason that the Civil Rights act ends up getting passed and it becomes law in a pretty rapid way. As LBJ says, I'm going to do this to honor jfk. Okay, so Finnerty brought up the parallels here because he goes, well, wait a second. Lindsey Graham just passed away. Lindsey Graham's final push was for the Save America Act. What better way to honor him than to have an epic push for the Save America act right now and to actually achieve it. Very much like the Civil Rights act in the 1960s. It can be done again, and it should be done again. And I told Rob what I've told you before, which is the civil. The Save America act is the Civil Rights act of our time. It is the most important civil rights legislation to be contemplated by Congress this century. It's beautiful. Why? Because it protects the voting franchise. We've heard for years that voting rights are civil rights. It's true. Protecting American citizens and their vote is of paramount importance. In fact, it comes before everything else. It does in American politics. It doesn't, obviously, come before God and family. But the point I'm making is when it comes to our American political system, our constitutional republic, credible elections are the singular most important thing. Most important thing. Because everything else derives from whether or not you have trust that our elections are being conducted fairly and that your vote is being well protected. This is why we need the Save America Act. I don't want to see any American voter disenfranchised. I don't want to see your vote watered down. I don't want to see it stolen. I don't want to see people come in and supplant the American citizen in terms of making decisions about the American system. So that's why we need the Save America Act. It is civil rights legislation. So Congress should take it up today and pass it to honor the life of Lindsey Graham, use that as a perfectly good predicate to do this. His dying wish that we get the Save America act passed. And the most important thing is to respect the American people. That's what it's about. So the push should be underway right now. And the President is expected to speak on Thursday. Would not be surprised if he talks about Lindsey Graham, the Save America act, and why it needs to be done now. Fully expecting that. They also claim that he's likely to discuss some of the details about what's going on in Iran, clearly of interest to the American people. Resolving that conflict, stopping Iran from getting nukes, keeping the Strait of Hormuz wide open and driving down global energy prices and American energy prices. There's all really, really important details. But this morning, the thing that I'm most interested in is that election integrity push. Now, the other piece of this is to what extent will he discuss the 2020 election and what he knows now, being the President of the United States, access to the intelligence. Looking back on all of this now, you'll remember that the Director of National Intelligence, the first one for President Trump here in this administration, Tulsi Gabbard, spent a lot of time digging into the election meddling concerns that we all have that have been done by Democrats through the years, looking at the intelligence, trying to figure out to what extent were election machines manipulated, to what extent were foreign countries manipulating American elections. Tulsi Gabbard was all over that. She has since left now dealing with her husband's illness. And Bill Pulte is in the acting role for now. And Bill Pulte has continued on on that mission. In fact, President Trump has told him, I want you to dig into all of it and declassify as much as possible to share it with the American people. Now, that might be what we learn this Thursday, if the rumors are true. Now, again, I you know, I would take Miz now with a massive grain of salt and continue to wonder why anybody at the White House would give them a scoop of any kind unless this was some kind of canary trap. They were just trying to share information to see who's leaking to. Ms. Now, that could be what's going on. But the other, you know, but over at Axios, they do say that the president does may present may present findings from his intelligence officials about the administration's review of the 2020 election. Now, will that include all these people that I just mentioned? Are we going to see Bill Pulte there? Cash Patel, Mark Wayne Mullen, John Ratcliffe, are they all going to be standing alongside him as he gives this address to the nation? We'll see. I hope so. I hope so. Remember, Cash Patel just paid a visit to the White House this past week. It was the source of a lot of ridiculous fake news. In fact, it formed the basis of a big old left wing fake scandal of the week. When they claimed that he was being called in to be scolded, the White House said that that's crap. That's absolute BS Cash Patel said it's absolute BS and you're going to know soon why he was called to the White House, thus making this and now it's time for the left fake scandal of the week. Extra, extra.
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Vince
So you know, he got called over to be scolded. Do you know President Trump to do these scoldings in private? I feel like President Trump, if he's got something to say, he'll just say it out loud in public or either say it on camera on truth social media. And why would he keep an FBI director around if he was annoyed with him, he didn't like what he was doing, he would can him. I mean, he's learned his lesson on this subject. Yeah, no, no, they were Cash Patel had a very important mission, which is why he went to the White House to resolve it. And now there were reports that the reason he was there was because they wanted to conduct a leak investigation into what's going on with the Air Force One story. Remember all of the concerns about the security involving Air Force One leaving Turkey last week. That obviously would imply there's a lot of classified information involved in terms of the technology capabilities of each of those planes. And perhaps that is what the FBI is investigating. But one way or the other, he goes over for actual business at the White House, and then Cash Patel says, you're soon going to find out what it's all about. That doesn't strike me as an Air Force One story that seems like something different, but we'll see. Again, really eagerly anticipating this speech on Thursday. Now, here's another piece of this. The guys over at the Washington Reporter, which is that's a legitimate news outlet. That's no miss. Now, they claimed yesterday afternoon in a report that President Trump is planning to announce this week that Georgia's two senators, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, were illegitimately elected because of fraud. That fraud is the reason that both of these men currently occupy seats in the United States Senate. And that so that they that was a pretty tantalizing piece of information that that would be coming out as early as last night. Now, that information did not come out, not from an official source. It was just the Washington reporter who had that report. And they subsequently posted a new report online last night saying, quote, the White House tells us President Trump's speech will not focus on Georgia's 2020 elections, not focus on Thursday at least. Georgia Republican source adds to us that they were notified of the speech and the upcoming report's initial Georgia election focus in advance. The speech is set for Thursday at 9pm so that gives us a little bit more information. So rather than get this directly from the White House initially, it sounds like the Washington reporter got it from Republican sources in Georgia who said that they're hearing that the Trump administration has a very clear, has a pretty clear picture maybe of what happened in Georgia in 2020. And that gets to what the FBI is up to. See now we're connecting it back to Cash Patel. You like how I'm stitching these pieces together for you? This is so this is the key. So Cash Patel was just at the White House. The president set to give a big speech on Thursday. Cash might be alongside him. Election integrity is expected to be on the menu for the things that the president will talk about. And there's now some debate of whether or not he's going to talk specifically about Georgia. And it's very interesting how the timeline is rolling here because What Today's the 14th, Thursday's the 16th, Friday the 17th, we've got a big deadline that involves Georgia, the FBI and election integrity. More on that in just a moment. I'm going to, I'm going to walk you through why the 17th is so important to this conversation. Hang on. We've got a lot more to get through on a very interesting edition of of this program because I think we all look back on this and go, okay, now I see why all these pieces were coming together. They're currently moving as we speak. But first, let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. Great sponsor of our program and great provider of cell phone service to my wonderful little phone. Appreciate them and their support of our program. So Georgia election integrity, the FBI, the 17th, what do those things have to do with one another? Well, as we know right now the FBI is conducting an extensive investigation into Fulton County, Georgia. In fact, the investigation has reached such an intense level that reports indicate that hundreds of FBI analysts from all across the country have been told to drop everything and to begin going through the files that the FBI raided and seized in January in Fulton county of this year. Something very big is going down. In fact this week we got another report on that subject that the FBI has actually fired two analysts who were bitching and moaning about the fact that the dig is underway. They were annoyed. They were whining about it. The FBI last week, according to cbs, fired two of its analysts after they expressed concerns that the investigation into the 2020 election results in Fulton County, Georgia, was thin on evidence and appeared to be politically motivated, according to several sources briefed on the matter. The firings following the FBI's follow rather the FBI's efforts to review thousands of records obtained earlier this year. After executing a search warrant and seizing all physical ballots from 2020, as well as tapes from vote tabulating machines, ballot images and voter rolls, the bureau added 260 analysts to help sift through the ballots, end the voting data, An FBI spokesman telling cbs, quote, the FBI will always investigate credible allegations of matters related to federal elections. Every employee at this FBI is expected to uphold our mission and adhere to our standards. Any deviation will not be tolerated. Right? Yeah. If you're told to drop everything else and focus on this, you drop everything else and focus on that. You work for the American people. You work for the president of the United States, the attorney General of the United States and the director of the FBI. Do your job, and if you refuse, leave, leave. So the FBI had to fire two people who refused to do the job.
John Duran
Good.
Vince
To hell with them. I love how, like the left and all of their media outlets, they always do this. They always have this. They presuppose the entire story. Well, obviously, the two FBI analysts are heroes and the Trump administration is full of all sorts of political monsters. How in the world can you arrive at a snap conclusion like that, given all of the violations of our trust that the left has manufactured? When they control the levers of power, they routinely manipulate elections. They meddle in elections over and over and over again. Why was President Trump prosecuted 7,000 times in 2024? Why was he in mug shots? Why was he being hauled into courtrooms in what was it, oh, yeah, Fulton County, Georgia, or Manhattan? Why was he raided in Mar a Lago? Why was his name prevented from being on the ballot in places like Colorado and Maine? Why were everybody around him why was everybody around him attacked by the United States Justice Department? Why were lawyers associated with President Trump disbarred?
Governor McMaster
What?
Vince
What is that if not a steady stream of election meddling? If you were a real news operation, you would have that context and you would go, you know something? President Trump's got a point. Todd Blanche and the Justice Department, they've got a point. Actually, this makes a lot of sense that they would dig into this particularly corrupt arrangement, especially in a place like Fulton County, Georgia. So God bless the FBI for digging in. And I told you when this news broke, there's no way they're putting these guys on a snipe hunt. There's no way that they're sending these hundreds of analysts across the country an FBI that prides itself in stopping violent crime all across the country, dropping the homicide rate to the lowest levels we've seen in recorded history. The FBI, they're going to have all those guys stop that important work to focus on nonsense, a conspiracy theory with no basis. Like hell they are. They're digging into something very real. There is smoke, there is fire. The FBI is operating on it right now. So the 17th. Why is the 17th important? The 17th is reportedly the deadline for these FBI analysts to complete their work. That would be Friday of this week. So will we get everything out of Georgia from the president on Thursday night? It's unlikely because the FBI has a Friday deadline to sift through the seized documents and ballots in order to start rendering their judgments. In fact, we'll probably hear more later on. Not Thursday, but sometime after Friday. But could we get some preliminary information on Thursday? It's possible. It's possible. Keep your eyes and your ears open for that. Just want to give you a sense of, of how all of this is coming together right now. Now, you know, speaking of election integrity, I want you to also keep your eyes on the fact I saw Chad Pergrim this morning from the Fox News Channel indicate that the House is going to try to pass a rule today. By the time you hear this podcast, some of this could be resolved. But the House is going to try and pass a rule today that would merge the Save America act into the National Security and State Department government funding bill. And they say, he says the House floor has been frozen for weeks.
John Duran
Now.
Vince
It's one thing for the House to do it, it's another for the Senate. So the pieces are in place here. Speaker Johnson is trying to figure out a new vehicle to get this done. There will be an attempt today to, to merge the Save America act into national security funding and State Department funding. So just keep your eyes on that. That may be a part of the president's speech on Thursday. Too pressing to get this done. But again, the only reason the Save America act is even in the conversation is because of the pressure that you've continued to put on these guys. That's it. It's as simple as that. The President of the United States and the American people have applied so much pressure to Congress and that they can't avoid the Save America Act. We are forcing Them, we are force feeding them the Save America act and we'll keep doing it until they actually pass it. That's, that's the key. That's a weird analogy. We force feed it to them until they pass it. Got to think about that. I don't know if I like that analogy actually, but I do want it passed. That's the key. A lot more to get to here on the program because we've got more left wing meddling going on that I've got to tell you about. There's a lot to get to. We're, we've, we've got a lot more ahead on the program. But first I want to tell you about Bone Charge. Bone Charge infrared sauna blanket is a, is a great, great thing. Yesterday a judge in Florida. Now don't be confused by the fact that it was in Florida. A lot of good things are happening in Florida these days. This woman is not one of them. Her name is Judge Kathleen Williams and she's a federal district judge in Miami. And yesterday she said that President Trump sued the IRS for an improper purpose. And she's now referring to President Trump's lawyer to the bar for consideration on whether he should be disciplined. Okay, this judge, right up front, I'm going to tell you who this person is. Kathleen Williams is an Obama appointed left wing lunatic and she's mad that President Trump established a settlement that the Trump administration established a settlement on the fact that President Trump sued because his tax documents were leaked by the irs. President Trump, like the rest of us, should have his tax records be kept private. But the IRS leaked his tax records to subsequently appear in places like the New York Times. And so as a result, President Trump said, the hell with that, I'm going to sue the irs. So he did. He sued. And then he decided to settle. He settled. And what was the settlement? Now by now you probably remember this, there were two components to it. One was a $1.776 billion fund, anti weaponization fund to be paid out to American citizens who've been attacked by their own government, not including the Trump family. Not a single dime would go to anybody named Trump. Now, since Then the left, which has lost his damn mind and went after it. And even some Republicans in Congress caused the DOJ to walk that back and say, fine, we're not doing the anti weaponization fund, which is unfortunate. Additionally, President Trump was protected against audits, harassment by the IRS for any tax year prior to this incident. So going backwards, no more harassing him for any of this. Now, going into the future, the guy could still be audited. He's not. They're not forbidden from auditing him forever. That's been a massive source of fake news from the media. It's just for, for years prior, stop harassing the guy. That seems like a reasonable settlement. Well, this judge yesterday said, no, it's not a reasonable settlement. This is a corrupt arrangement. And she's mad that he's the President of the United States and thus in a position to influence this. So she's attacking everybody. She said that it was an improper lawsuit and an improper award. And she thinks that the lawyer involved representing President Trump needs to be referred to the bar for discipline. Psycho. Absolute psycho. Now, what is this? Why is this happening? Well, the answer is that this week we have another important thing occurring on Wednesday. Tomorrow, Todd Blanche is appearing before the United States Senate for his confirmation hearing. That's right. Todd Blanche is currently the acting Attorney General. President Trump has nominated him to take the job full time, and he's expected to appear before the Senate tomorrow, Wednesday for his confirmation hearing. And it just so happens this whack job lady, Kathleen Williams, this federal judge, decided to try and muddy him up just before he arrives for his confirmation hearing. You think the timing is a coincidence here? Mike Davis does. And Mike Davis is with the Article 3 project. He said this yesterday, posting to X. He said another lawless Obama judge does it again. This time, former federal public defender turned Miami Obama judge, Kathleen Williams. After sitting on it for weeks, Kathleen Williams conveniently, conveniently dropped a lawless order today, gratuitously trashing Todd Blanche even though he never appeared in the case just before his Senate confirmation hearing on Wednesday. This is the same judge who lawlessly attempted to use an obscure environmental law to block illegals going to Alligator Alley before getting reversed by the 11th Circuit. Kathleen Williams is a lawless partisan operative in a robe. The Trump Justice Department will no doubt get her reversed on appeal again. But the negative headlines for Todd Blanche before his confirmation hearing in two days is no doubt worth it to Kathleen Williams. So you can see what's happening here. You can see exactly what's happening here. Trying to muddy up Todd Blanche. Now, Blanche Chat. Has Todd Blanche proved himself here? Remember when, when President Trump tapped him to be the acting Attorney General and then subsequently he decided to nominate him? I had some, I'll admit, I'll be one of the first to admit. In fact, if you've been with me, you know, I was worried. I wasn't certain. Is he the right guy for the job? There were all sorts of other, I thought, very strong lawyers who could take that role, aggressive lawyers who could take that role. Todd Blanche, I think he's proved it. In fact, I'm confident he's proved it. He's moved with such aggression and alacrity. He has really proven that he's the right guy for this job. I'm seeing prosecutions at the wazoo. They're going after everybody. And these grand juries are being impaneled. We're awaiting what's going on in South Florida now with this grand conspiracy case. They brought in Joe to Genova to run the operation down there. I'm telling you, the guy has proved it every single day that he's been on this job. So, yeah, I think, I think it's good. So Wednesday, big confirmation hearing. I'm cheering on Todd Blanch that he can handle all these United States senators. They can't get, they can't find their ass with both hands. But they should confirm Todd Blanche, come on now. And pass the Save America Act. We got to get both of these things done immediately. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Let's see. I'm trying to think where I'm going to take you next. I want to see here. Let's talk about the Senate real fast. I want to, I want to mention something going on in the Senate really quickly, which is Lindsey Graham has a replacement now and that is his sister. The governor of South Carolina yesterday has appointed Lindsey Graham's sister to take the role. Her name is Darlene Graham Nordone. And this was at the recommendation of the president of the United States. President Trump posting the Truth social yesterday that he recommended that she take the job on an interim basis. Here is cut to the South Carolina governor making the announcement yesterday. Watch.
Governor McMaster
Lindsey took care of his little sister in years long departed. It's my honor to ask his little sister, Darlene Graham to finish his work for him now. And by the way, Darlene, I don't know if I told you, but after we spoke on the phone in the wee hours of Sunday morning and you agreed to serve through tears earlier, I had wondered what you would say and I was humbled by Your quickness to see the duty that you had to serve. And I called the President afterwards and he thought it was a great idea and I'm sure you that everyone here does as well.
Vince
That was the announcement. Do we have video of her talking about this? Let's take a look. This is. Yeah, this is Lindsey Graham's sister accepting this and honoring her brother. Watch.
Darlene Graham Nordone
I know Lindsay was loved and respected by many, and I greatly appreciate the memories and even the funny stories that have been shared. These shared experiences, along with our faith, have gotten us through these past two very difficult days. Next, I want to thank the governor for selecting me to serve the remainder of Lindsay's term. It is such an honor. Lindsay has always been there for me and now I will be there for him. My brother was the most amazing person, outstanding leader and just a genuinely good man. He was kind and considerate and loved by his family dearly, as I think everyone would agree. Lindsay worked harder than anyone. He worked non stop to make our state, country and world better. He loved his family and loved serving this state and our country. He dedicated his life to. To our country. It is such a privilege to get to finish some of his important work. And I promise to work hard over the next several months to support the President and carry forward the efforts of my brother on behalf of the citizens of South Carolina and the United States. I know Lindsey thought the world of his staff and colleagues, and with their support, I feel confident. I think this is what Lindsay would have wanted, and I plan to honor him in this way. Now, to Lindsey, I miss you more than I can even put into words, but I'm going to do this. I got it. Thank you.
Vince
Now, I've seen a lot of really smart questions immediately in the chat about this, and I agree with your instincts.
Governor McMaster
There's a.
Vince
There's a kind of a general feeling in our chat right now. If you're listening on the podcast, why the sister? What is this? It's like these, these Senate seats are. Are not meant to be nepotism, not meant to be handed off. Like this is some sort of dynasty or something. Let me, let me tell you why I'm completely comfortable with this. Now, under normal circumstances, I might say, you know what, you're totally right. Let's. Let's not do this. Why the sister should not have the job. Here's why. I think this is perfectly acceptable for now under these circumstances. One, she's taking it on an interim basis. She's not. She has no intention or she's not signaled any intention to actually run for the seat, not using the incumbency to stay there. This is going to be the next five months. She's going to sit in the seat. The people of South Carolina did elect Lindsey Graham. And who knows Lindsey Graham's mind better than his dear sister? So she would be probably consistent with his politics, as annoyed with his politics as I've ever been. That that is true. It's up to the voters of South Carolina. They tapped Lindsey Graham, and his sister clearly knows his mind. But here's the most important reason, the single most important reason. A decision was made very rapidly by both President Trump and Governor McMaster, not to merely pick someone immediately for the job. This is an attempt to buy time. There's going to be a primary election at the beginning of August. Now, we have that means a pretty accelerated timetable. It's just about three weeks or so before we have a primary election, a special election to choose who the nominee is in November in South Carolina. This gives the voters of South Carolina a real contest that, that candidates are going to have to step forward and genuinely prove themselves over the course of the next several weeks that the voters of South Carolina will choose from. There's nobody being forced down their throat here. There's nobody who's being granted incumbency protection right away. The sisters just basically being a seat filler for the next few months while a real competition plays out in South Carolina. Am I for that? Yeah, I'm for that. I think that's great. I would like the voters of South Carolina now to make a wise decision about who joins the Senate in the state of, in Washington, D.C. rather, and, and helps us do things like pass the Save America act, restore integrity to America's borders, makes them make America great again. This is a big opportunity for that. And I think the, I think this was, this was prudent because it wasn't rushed. They just decided, well, how about this? Why don't we stall for time? We'll just put her in the seat for now, and then we'll let the voters of South Carolina make a real decision. Having said that, I fully expect President Trump to make an endorsement. I expect him to. We'll see. He doesn't always make an endorsement, but he very likely will make an endorsement in that primary race. So a lot is set to transpire in the next few weeks. So I'm not getting too worked up over this at all. All right, let's see here. Okay, so let me also talk to you now about what's going on in the United States Senate, a separate issue that I think is really important and deserving of your time. So in addition to now, we we. And by the way, she's being sworn in today. So by the time you hear this podcast, she'll likely be officially the United States Senator from South Carolina. Jim Rome takes on sports.
Jim Rome
I will always have a complicated relationship with this game, but people evolve. So do sports. Do not make me regret this. Do not make me devolve back to that guy that so many clones wish that I still was. And do not embarrass the entire country. Now I can go back. I can get there fast. Lose tonight and you got a real problem. Do not blow it.
Vince
The Jim Rome show podcast.
Jim Rome
You've been warned.
Vince
Follow and listen on your favorite platform. But I've got another senator to share with you, and that's. That's Senator Jim Banks. Jim Banks of Indiana has presented a piece of legislation as of yesterday in the United States Senate called the Citizenship Act. And this should be on your radar. This is a very important piece of legislation, dare I say, approaching the importance of the Save America act. And here's why. Jim Banks's legislation declares that there will be, there should be no more birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens or birth or birth tourists, you know, Chinese nationals who just fly into our country and have a baby no more. And the way he's setting about doing this is he is classifying officially illegal aliens and birth tourists, people who only come here to have a baby and by extension, American citizen. He's classifying them as invaders. Under the law, for the first time, we would have a statutory definition of invaders that matches illegal aliens and birth tourists. Now, it may be common sense to you, it's certainly common sense to me that an illegal alien to the United States or somebody who just flies in to have a baby to exploit our loopholes in our stupid system. Those should be called invaders. That's. That's a, that's a normative matter that you and I both know that Jim Banks wants to make it a statutory matter. You are an invader to the United States if you come in that way. And if he does that, the reason this is so freaking fascinating and interesting is because it adheres to what Justice Brett Kavanaugh said in his concurring opinion in that birthright citizenship case that so many of us were horrified by. Remember, Kavanaugh did join the majority on the court by saying that he thought that the President was out of bounds by using that executive order to forbid illegal aliens from having birthright citizenship children. But he had a difference of opinion about why he believed the President was wrong. Chief Justice Roberts and the rest of the majority said that the President had violated the 14th Amendment, that that hands out birthright citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. That's not so, says Brett Kavanaugh. In fact, the President's failures were only statutory. He said it was just a matter of law, and that can be changed by Congress. This is Jim Banks realizing, well, hold on a second. This is the way to do it. We classify them as invaders. So this week, Jim Banks presents this legislation again. It's called the Citizenship Act. And I just want you, if you don't mind, would you keep this on your radar? Would you keep the Citizenship act on your radar? This is a. This is a really important piece of legislation. And if you are in the mood to pressure the United States Senate to do anything good for the American people, in addition to the Save America act, the Citizenship act sounds like a very deserving piece of legislation for us to push, because if it becomes law, the next step would, of course, be to what extent does it get litigated and put back before the Supreme Court. And it could be an opportunity for us to overturn this horrific precedent that the Court just established, saying that the 14th Amendment confers citizenship on the children of illegals. That's insane, and it needs to be overturned quickly. Clarence Thomas said that in his opinion. His dissenting opinion. His mighty dissenting opinion. Because the Court's gonna regret this sooner rather than later. May it be so. May it be so really, really quickly. This could be the vehicle to do it. So the name of the legislation. Thank you. We're flagging it in the chat, is the Citizenship Act. The Citizenship act. And I intend. If anybody from Jim Banks's office is listening right now, come on the. On the podcast. I'd love to have you stop by the show. We were working yesterday. Producer Jim was working yesterday to get him on the radio show. We'll talk to Jim Banks soon and get his take on. On how this will work, because I think this is deeply, deeply important. It really, really is. We'll. We'll talk about that more as we get more information. Now, why do we need that? Well, let me give you a lesson on this. Why would we need to fix this chaotic system? Here's a really horrifying and good example. My friend Kevin Roberts over at the Heritage foundation said yesterday that this story is a litmus test for basically whether or not you actually value our country and its borders. It's a litmus test for your politics. Let me share this with you. This is from WUSA9 Fairfax County, Virginia local news outlet. Fairfax County, Virginia. Police officers in Fairfax county are not just wearing regular old body cameras anymore. They're now wearing AI assisted body cameras that translate 57 different languages. The Tower of Babel just outside the nation's capital. Cut one. Watch this.
Fairfax County Police Officer
The Fairfax County Police Department is trying
Darlene Graham Nordone
out some new body camera technology.
Fairfax County Police Officer
It'll help them communicate with residents who.
Darlene Graham Nordone
Who don't speak English.
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Vince
So the new cameras can Translate more than 50 languages in real time. Our John Duran got an exclusive look at how it works and how police are using this technology.
John Duran
These should look familiar. Body cameras are standard issue for most police departments across the country.
Darlene Graham Nordone
Spanish language set to Spanish in Fairfax County.
John Duran
These do more than just document an officer's interactions.
Fairfax County Police Officer
The body camera has always been a tool for transparency and accountability. And now I think it is helping bridge that gap.
John Duran
County police are piloting a brand new body cam that can translate 57 languages in real time using AI technology. Good news.
Vince
We have a solution for that.
John Duran
It can also detect a language an individual is speaking.
Darlene Graham Nordone
And even so, I got confused because
Vince
the lane was short.
Fairfax County Police Officer
It's a daily occurrence that our officers encounter individuals who are not proficient in English. And this tool makes it a lot easier and more efficient for them to communicate with them, especially when seconds counter.
John Duran
Fairfax county police began this pilot program in February. As of last month, officers are now using them in four of the eight districts they serve. And in the future, they hope these body cameras are used countywide.
Fairfax County Police Officer
I think that's one thing that our department prides itself on, is being at the cutting edge of law enforcement technology. So we're excited to be one of the first agencies to use this in the field. In the D.C. area.
John Duran
Fairfax county police say so far, officers have used this tool nearly 850, 50 times. 80% of the time translating Spanish.
Vince
You speak Italian. Yeah.
John Duran
But this device can translate languages across the globe. I'm pulling you over right now because you were wearing headphones while driving. Fairfax county police say its Officers reported a 90% success rate using these on calls for service.
Darlene Graham Nordone
Perfecto.
John Duran
In Fairfax county, John Durant, WUSA9.
Vince
Oh, my God. OK, so first of all, like, nobody backed up for a moment. I love that. Like, they're like, well, we imported millions of people into the country. 57 different languages in a single county. And their first thought was like, well, let's come up with AI technology so that we can have conversations for once with the people who are now living here. For some reason, what you didn't think to yourself, maybe we should enforce our borders. Maybe we should have sensible immigration laws. Maybe we should require that people speak freaking English if they're going to join the United States of America in a legal capacity. Whatever happened to assimilation? I don't want to live in the United Nations. I'm not living in some international rest stop. I am living in the United States of America. You should be able to have a community where you can communicate with people. Notice that community and communicate have the same roots. Yeah, for a reason. It's about having something in common.
Governor McMaster
Oh, good.
Vince
We have AI technology that taxpayers are now dumping a bunch of money into that can help translate the nonsense. How about no? And in Fairfax county, by the way, is a sanctuary county. Sanctuary? Not for American citizens, for illegal aliens. They work really hard to prevent illegals from being deported. And there are a lot of illegals in Fairfax County, Virginia. This is madness. So Kevin Roberts is right. This story really is a litmus test for your politics. Either you believe in borders or you don't. Either you believe in sovereignty or you don't. Either you believe in the value of American citizenship or you don't. Either you believe in law and order or you don't. I know what I believe in and I know I think that story is freaking insane. And they're making it out to be like some nice thing. Oh, isn't it great? What a wonderful thing that we can now finally understand people who live in our community. What? You shouldn't live here unless you can engage, unless you can communicate. Also, did you notice that a bunch of these guys were drivers, so they don't speak English yet they're on the roadway. Has that been a problem yet? Like for instance, illegal aliens who are driving trucks on American highways, can't read road signs and are constantly getting into fatal accidents in the United States. Has that been a problem at all? Yeah, that's been a problem. That's a huge problem. Huge. And we're just pretending like it's totally normal. Oh, don't you worry? Yeah, no, we'll accommodate all the law breaking. It's totally fine. So. So law enforcement, that's talk about perverted law enforcement, comes up with a solution not for the law breaking, but to accommodate the lawbreakers. Got it. See, isn't this wonderful? We can communicate now. It's not wonderful at all. You know what would be wonderful? If you would sign UP for the 287 program and assist the Trump administration with deporting people who are here illegally. That would be wonderful. In fact, you should see how many fewer languages are necessary to translate if you actually helped get this done. But they don't. They're agents of chaos. It's unreal. It's absolutely unreal. So, yes, do we need the Citizenship act and yes, we need the Save America act, and yes, we need law and order. And yes, I'd like our country back, please. That's, I'm a simple man. I just, I just want a functional country that's safe and wherein you can communicate with your fellow American in English. I think that would be absolutely wonderful. It really does. All right. Well, as always, I've got a lot more to get to. We'll do it on the big national radio show today, the VIN Show.com the VIN Show.com to get your local radio listings. That's where we keep them.
