Let's move on to former FBI Director James Comey. A grand jury has indicted the former FBI director for this Instagram post. I want to put it up. I think a lot of folks have seen it at this point. 8,000, 647 in seashells, which the indictment says, quote, a reasonable recipient who is familiar with the circumstances would interpret as a serious expression of an intent to do harm to the President of the United States. How does that image of seashells amount to a serious threat against the President's life?

Well, every case requires an investigation, and what you just showed is one part of that investigation. What you just showed is the Instagram post. Rest assured that the career assistant United States attorneys in North Carolina, the career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away. That's why you saw an indictment last week, notwithstanding the fact that it was last May that the post was made. So I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found, as you know. But rest assured that it's not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted.

They've got the evidence against him. They've got the goods on Comey. They've got the goods. And there's lots of lefties now. They're all posting 8647. 8647. That's just vile. Just vile. I mean, look, even if you don't get prosecuted for such a message, it's grotesque, Totally grotesque. That you would call for. You realize what you're calling for? You're calling for the destabilization of the entire constitutional republic. You're calling for the rejection of the will of the American voter. The. You're calling for what the left refers to as the end of our democracy. That's what you're calling for. You lunatics. Pause for a moment and think about what you're demanding. You're demanding the end of the entire country. And James Comey lit the fuse on that. It was James Comey's fault. Comey may be prosecuted for something else. By the way, while I'm on the subject of Comey, we've got some other people to get to, other deranged lefties. But Comey may be indicted for something else. And I've been talking a lot about this. So when we talk about the fact that Comey lacks integrity, that he's not in any way a man of honor, that he's a snake. I'm often reminded of when he had. When he had these private conversations with the President of the United States in his official capacity as FBI director. And then he wrote down his own narrative about each of the meetings. He wrote a story about each meeting, notes things that he claimed the President said and what his interactions were and what he did. Now, a private meeting like that between the FBI Director and the President of the United States for whom he works. And he notes memorializing that highly sensitive conversation, classified. And it very likely. These are public notes. These are owned by the American government. They're owned by the American people. They're not yours to do whatever you want with. You can't just freelance. You can't just leak them to the New York Times. But that's exactly what. What James Comey did. In fact, he knew he was leaking because he didn't do it directly. He did it through his buddy, Daniel Richmond. This is how he got these notes to the New York Times. And he would later admit that the reason he did this was to trigger the appointment of a special counsel, which ended up being this gigantic shit show we know as the Trump Russia collusion case, the Bob Mueller investigation. Comey did that on purpose. He leaked classified information in an effort to induce the appointment of a special counsel to freeze up the 45th administration of a president. President Donald Trump. That's it. That's it. That's all he did. And ever since then, I've said, you know, it's been obvious, I think, to anybody with two eyes, two ears, and two brain cells to rub together. This guy's a dishonest broker. And he does this all, shucks, act all the time, like he's just trying to do the right thing. He wasn't sure how to navigate it. No, you just do the wrong thing and then you constantly justify it. You constantly make up excuses for why you did the wrong thing. This may be catching up with him. We just got an update on this from Bloomberg this past week that the Trump Justice Department appears to be pursuing a separate Comey probe now for classified leaks. They may be going after him for this very thing. The Justice Department is pursuing now additional charges against James Comey for allegedly leaking classified information after the former FBI director's unrelated indictment in North Carolina. That's for the threat. 8,647 federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia office that failed in its first criminal case against Comey last year for alleged false statements to Congress have in recent weeks revived their separate but interrelated pursuit of Comey. The investigation is tied to his dissemination of documents to Columbia University law professor Daniel Richmond. The individuals added if successful, it would now be the Trump's Trump administration's third time indicting Comey since last fall. They keep indicting the guy. Ever since Todd Blanche was elevated to acting Attorney general, there have been active meetings on the classified information case between the Deputy Attorney General's office and a small team of Eastern District of Virginia prosecutors, said the people who spoke anonymously about the sensitive deliberations. It has not been decided if the department will bring the indictment to a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia, where Comey resides, or if the case could be pursued in a different location, such as in Richmond's home of New York. Okay, so in other words, they've got multiple jurisdictions they could do this in. Now, the Eastern District of Virginia is interesting because what they ran into there was a lunatic judge who threw out the case against Comey to begin with. But we did score a grand jury indictment in Virginia that kicked all of that off. That could happen again in Virginia. We'll see what the Justice Department decides to do here. But this is a, this is an indication, or at least a reported indication from Bloomberg that they've got another case being worked up, and this one feels very real. I've thought ever since those leaks by way of that dude Daniel Richmond. I'm like, how could Comey just get away with this? How could he just get away with this? And the answer to that is he might not get away with it. They might be in the process of bringing that indictment very soon, and God willing, they do. We need justice here. And that would be. That would be good to add to the list. So keep your head on a swivel. Just an early indicator that that may be the next shoe to drop for James Comey, who is getting, I think, buried in legal expenses now. He's going through the process. He subjected a lot of other people to it unjustly. Here he is in a just way going through the process, and he's whining about it. He says he's being attacked. You're not being attacked. Here's what he said about the Comey case, the existing Comey case. He wrote this this weekend. He said, here are three things that will happen. DOJ will lose the Comey case, he says hopefully, in his view, in the next administration. Comey will get a big monetary settlement, he claims, for selective prosecution. And after this administration ends, Todd Blanche will get disbarred. Now, by the way, that is definitely what the left wants to do. They want to hurt anybody who's associated with this administration. So let me just remind, and I don't know if anybody in the administration needs this reminder, perhaps the United States Senate needs it more than anybody else. But for all of these people, understand, while you're in this job, do not dither, don't twiddle your thumbs, don't hope that the left likes you. At the end of this in any capacity, they are coming after you. They have made it crystal clear from Chuck Schumer to Hakeem Jeffries, all of them, Ted Roux, their plan is to hurt you when they get power. Keep that in mind while you have it. Right now, we have to clean up our system with haste. Because if they come back and they have any leverage whatsoever, they're going to hurt you with it. Their plan is to get rid of Todd Blanche. They want to disbar him and certainly worse, I guarantee you, they want to prosecute him too. And then Ted Roux ends his message this way. 86:47. So here's another nut job inspired by James Comey to post that he wants the President of the United States eliminated. 8647 says Ted Roux. Now let me give you some context on this Roo character, who he is. Last weekend, one of Ted Roux constituents, Cole Allen, attempted to kill President Trump. That's right. Cole Allen is from Torrance, California. The suspect, the would be assassin, is from Torrance, California, tried to kill the President of the United States. He's no doubt a Ted Roo voter. He lives in his district. Cole Allen wrote that he was motivated by the same kinds of left wing conspiracy theories that Ted Roux is frequently advancing. In fact, in Cole Allen's manifesto, he wrote, quote, I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, a rapist and a traitor to coat my hands with his crimes. Now, these are all delusional, Blueski style, miss now style conspiracy theories, just insane conspiracy theories that animated him to take up arms against the President of the United States. And where did he hear this? We heard it from people like Ted Roux. Watch Ted Roux recently, in February, accusing the President of the United States of raping and threatening to kill children. This is a sitting member of Congress saying this garbage. Watch cut one.

In those files, there's highly disturbing allegations of Donald Trump raping children, of Donald Trump threatening to kill children. So I encourage the press to go look at these allegations and I'm highly disturbed that Deputy Attorney General Ty Blanch just got the law wrong yesterday. He said essentially that it is not a crime to party with Jeffrey Epstein. Well, that's actually not correct. If Jeffrey Epstein was human trafficking minors for these sex parties and you show up and patronize the establishment at that party, yes, you're guilty because patronizing is part of the law, of the federal sex trafficking law.

Have you noticed this, this paradox, it happens all the time. Like Dan Bongino talks about it too. It's funny. It's like the media will say, oh, they fired all these people at the FBI. It's a, it's a total nightmare. It's total chaos. And meanwhile, you and I see it. We're like, that's wonderful news. Thank God they're firing everybody at the FBI. The FBI was rotten to the core. It desperately is in need of an overhaul. Why aren't you pretend, why aren't you telling us this is good news? Why are you pretending like it's not? It's because the left views the FBI, like they do the Supreme Court too, as just a vehicle for their own long term power. It's not about what the fundamentals of the mission are, but for normal people, it's about the mission. Well, it turns out they're firing everybody they've been firing over the course of the last year. A ton of lawyers. The Financial Times has a piece up this weekend about it saying that the United States Department of Justice has lost a quarter of its lawyers. They lost them. They lost where they misplaced them. No, they can them. They're gone or they quit. This is cause for celebration. The United States Department of Justice has lost more than a quarter of its lawyers, with thousands quitting or being fired as Donald Trump's administration has ousted those who work on now disfavored cases. Who did work on now disfavored. They were always disfavored. We always hated these idiotic cases. We don't like when people target Christians, for instance. Get the hell out of the United States Department of Justice. We don't like when people go after the president of the United States for simply being a member of the other political party. Get the hell out. We don't like when Americans have their lives flipped upside down for political reasons. They didn't violate the law. They just voted for the other guy. Get the hell out of the United States Department of justice. In total, 3,402 lawyers out of nearly 13,000 left the Department between the beginning of last year and January 31st of this year. 3400 of nearly 13,000 lawyers. That's a heck of a start. Over the same period, 771 joined, leaving the department with 20% fewer lawyers overall than it had at the end of 2024. Yeah, look, I want these numbers to be bigger. If you were a part of the justice department going into 2024, if you were a part of the regime that was tyrannizing American citizens, then you should leave. You should. In fact, just leaving is generous. You should be prosecuted if you violated the law. But shrinking the ranks of the lawyers at an out of abuse, tyrannical Justice Department is exactly what I voted for. The figures underscore both the impact of layoffs by Elon Musk's doge and of politically charged firings and resignations, says the Financial Times. Overall, the department lost 8,558 staff last year, more than at any time in at least a decade. The largest previous decline in that period was a drop of 2,230 in 2018. That would be the first full year of the Trump administration. In other words, lots of people left then, but nowhere near as many as now. The departures have left the doj, the Financial Times claims, which says it's the world's single largest employer of attorneys and was previously a magnet for ambitious lawyers struggling to fill its ranks. At a time when Trump has talked up the importance of law enforcement. And as the government is fighting a large number of lawsuits now, if there's any truth to that whatsoever, that they're struggling to fill their ranks, if you know any conservative attorneys in your life, and I think a lot of these guys, I think a lot of the conservatives who are also attorneys are probably making good money on the private market. That's probably my guess, which is why not everybody's rushing to get into the government. This is, this is how conservatives tend to operate. But if you are a conservative attorney or if you know one who's got some talent, consider joining the Justice Department. Right now, time is of the essence. We could use, I know they could use all of the absolute best people right now. It'd be good to stock up their ranks, do that for a bit and fight for your country. So if you've ever thought to yourself, like, maybe there's a good opportunity for me to pitch in and help my country out, right now would be the time, because the DOJ has definitely cleaned out a lot of the garbage. They done a controlled burn over there, but there's still more to do and they could use backup. So if that's you, God bless you. If you decide to pull the trigger there and jump in, it'd be great if you did. But appreciate you on behalf of our country, we would just all appreciate you doing that, which would be really good. Further Justice Department investigations. You know the White House Correspondent's Dinner shooter, that guy Call Allen. We just found out that there is more. Apparently he's got another court appearance today and Todd Blanche said there is more information coming out imminently on the shooter, more evidence about why they know that he definitely planned on killing the president of the United States and the people around him. Well, look, the investigation is ongoing and it happened Just over a week ago. And I expect that, that the U.S. attorney Pirro, that she and her team are continuing to work on understanding why. Why this man allegedly did what he did. Any other information that they can learn from the devices and from the search warrants that were executed? I don't have an update to provide you beyond the fact that we are working hard. I expect in the next week or so there will be more information coming out. Obviously, assuming the investigation moves forward, there will be an indictment forthcoming and all that is typical of what happened.

Yeah. All right, so they got more evidence against the guy. And additionally, we found out from U.S. attorney Jeanine Pirro this weekend that they now are completely certain that it was his shotgun blast that struck the Secret Service agent directly in the chest as he ran towards the ballroom at the White House Correspondents Dinner. Here's Jeanine Pirro given that detail this weekend. Watch.

Well, we have been able to determine which gun it was. First of all, there is video of the defendant shooting at the Secret Service agent. There is also the agent who will tell you himself that he was shot at and then he returned the fire. But more importantly, Jake, is the fact that we now can establish that a pellet that came from the buckshot from the defendant's Mossberg pump action shotgun was intertwined with the fiber of the vest of the Secret Service officer.

It is definitively his bullet. He hit at that Secret Service agent. He was. Had every intention to kill him and anyone who got in his way on his way to the killing the President of the United States. This was a premeditated violent act calculated to take down the President and anyone who was in the line of fire. And you and I were both in that combat zone. And we know what it was like. It was a very dangerous situation. And but for law enforcement and their quick reaction, this thing could have been much worse.

Yeah. Notice what she said, by the way. She said there was a single pellet from the, from the buckshot. I believe you. I believe. Chad, is this right? I think it's about nine pellets that we'd expect from, from that buckshot that he was using. They said one pellet was intertwined with the fibers of his vest. Now, that doesn't mean that the rest of the pellets didn't make contact. It just means a single pellet was lodged into his chest. He fired from a very close range. So my assumption is that the spread was very, very tight here. But we'll, we'll keep our Eye on it. But that's. That's here. Her confirming what we now know, which is that that was the shotgun blast. That was the shotgun blast that hit him directly in the chest. Now, one more thing on that attack. And then we got to move on to some other stuff. This. I started the show by telling you I was at the Bruno Mars concert last night. And as we were walking into Northwest Stadium, they had security. They had cops, like, everywhere. And at one moment, as we were walking in, we saw a police officer walk directly past us, and another officer who was holding a police K9 was standing there from a different service. They were not a part of the same agency. They were part of different agencies. And the canine officer's dog. The canine. The dog alerted on the police officer who was walking by, because the police officer was walking by, had a sidearm. He had his handgun with him, and the cop detected it. And so this. This German shepherd pulls forward and alerts right on the gun. And. And the canine officer apologizes to the other officer and says, sorry, I swear to you, this all happened last night. I'm watching this as it goes down. I'm, like, thinking, oh, my goodness, this is. I can't even believe just the fortune of watching an event like this because it reminded me so much of what happened a week ago. And he goes. He apologizes to the other officer. He goes, hey, sorry about that. He's like, it's the. It's your. It's your sidearm. He alerted on your gun. And I was like, what? Didn't we see that happen a week ago? Didn't we see. Now I'm seeing reports out there that. That that dog is trained for explosives and not guns, because the dog is constantly around guns because he's around other secret service agents. But, okay, maybe that's the case. I don't know. But it certainly looked like that dog was very interested in Call Allen. The dog was very interested in what the hell was happening with Call Allen. But that was. That was wild. Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you because I was thinking about that. So last night, as. Even when we're sitting down for the concert, I was like, that was wild. I got to see that. And, yeah, the dog just instantly alerted right on that officer. And just a quick exchange of niceties, and we were off to the races. Anyway, interesting to see. All right, let me get into some election updates for you. I want to get into. This is kind of a Save America act situation. Let's. Let's gavel in. Anyway, all Right, let's do that. There we go. Save America act late Sunday night. Last night, President Trump posted the following to Truth Social. He's been. He's been busy this weekend on social media. He said, terminate the filibuster. Terminate the filibuster and win. President djt. Simple message, simple and effective. Get rid of the impediments to us having election integrity in the United States of America. Time is of the essence and the President is not giving up on this. Now, I guarantee you this is Jonathan off. I 100% guarantee you this is annoying the hell out of John Thune and all the other establishment Republicans around him. They hate that the President is using the bully pulpit in this way, that he's staying on this bone like a dog on a bone. It's. This is exactly what I want the President doing. Thank God for the President doing it. Please maintain the pressure, Mr. President. The rest of us will continue to do this from our side of things, but we have to pressure the Senate into doing the right thing for us because we have huge problems in this country with election integrity. Just ask the FBI. Cash Patel just came out yesterday, this weekend and said that, you know that thing that never happens, it happened again. Voter fraud by illegal aliens. Look at this. Illegal aliens voting in American elections. Out of FBI Newark this weekend. Four individuals were charged with illegally voting in federal elections and making false statements applying for U.S. citizenship. The individuals, all non citizens, voted in elections including the 2020 presidential election, the 2022 midterms, and the 2024 presidential election cycles. More to come, says Kash Patel. In fact, the President went on, on Truth Social this weekend to talk about how the Democrats are, of course, plotting more election rigging schemes right now, and it's time for Republicans to get tough. Look here at the President's remarks about crying Chuck Schumer. He says so. So ironic that crying Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are hiring sleazebags like Barack Hussein Obama's crooked former Attorney General, Eric Holder and the others of that ilk to look into voter integrity when this same group of human garbage rigged the 2020 presidential election. Get tough, Republicans. They're coming and they're coming fast. They're no good for our country. They almost destroyed it. We don't want to let that happen again. These are highly dishonest people who are in many ways treasonous in that what they are trying to rather in that they are trying to destabilize the United States of America in what some would call a war. Republicans must terminate the filibuster and approve all of the necessary safeguards we need for elections. The Safe America act to protect the American public during the upcoming midterms. Senate Democrats Chuck Schumer announced the creation of a Democrat elections task force aimed at identifying and mitigating threats and safeguarding elections ahead of the midterms. And he claims that President Trump and Republicans are attempting to undermine our democracy. I love. It's all a perfect inversion of the truth. An absolute perfect inversion of the truth. He's lying to you. He's lying to you. And as a part of this task force that he's putting together, he's. This is the task force. You ready guys? You're going to see some familiar names. This afternoon a group of senators and I will meet with former Attorney General Eric Holder. Mark Elias, that's Hillary Clinton's election rigging attorney, the one behind the Steele dossier. Mark Elias is behind the Trump Russia collusion hoax and some of the country's top election experts to talk about how we can be ready for any and all threats that might come against our elections this fall. So the Democrats are plotting in this case kind of openly to once again rig the elections, this time in the midterms. What do they plan to do with it with that power if they successfully rigged the midterms? We'll take a look at Eric Holder. Here's Eric Holder this past weekend saying once we get power back, we have to get rid of the filibuster so we can destroy the Republican Party.

Cut five watch out of the House of Representatives. The last time didn't pass the Senate because you couldn't get past the filibuster, largely because Senators Manchin and Sinema decided that they did not want to vote to reform the rules. And so the next time there is that ability by Democrats, if we have the presidency as well as the House and the Senate that use that power. You know, one of the things that just kind of gets me is that progressives and Democrats have a reluctance and uncomfortability with the acquisition and the use of power. Republicans don't have those problems, Conservatives don't have those problems. And so the next time we have that power, we need to use it not for the special interest as Republicans have done, but in service to the American people.

So there's Obama's wingman pretending like Democrats are reticent to use power when they have it. Meanwhile, he's not alone. You heard him at the beginning of that clip saying that that last time we tried to get rid of the filibuster, that nasty Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin, those jerks, they got in our way. They got in our way. They stopped us from getting rid of the filibuster. But man, I really wish we could have done it. We could have wreaked so much havoc. Whatever happened to Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin? What happened to them? Oh that's right. They were drummed out of the United States Senate by their own party. By their own party. Furious that they got in the way of their unrelenting pursuit of power. So that's the plan. Keep your, keep your head on a swivel here because Eric Holder and company are at it again. They're at it again. And Eric Holder really, he's at the center of a lot of this, this chaos right now as the left is trying to redistrict the whole country trying to steal congressional seats. Eric Holder is front and center in that operation. In fact, we should probably mention Eric Holder with the frequency we mentioned George Soros just in terms of the amount of influence he's wielding in these election rigging operations. Cuz it's, it's pretty big. Now I've got some hopeful news. Good news for you. Just updates as, as they keep coming in. Republican states are moving very quickly right now to get rid of race based districts that have given Democrats unearned political power in the United States. This is in the wake of the Louisiana v. Calais decision last week. Sean Spicer just shared this update with us over the weekend. He said this as as reported. Governor K. Ivy, Alabama Governor K. Ivy has called for a special special session for today. Monday, today. Hoping to wrap new maps within 48 hours. Remember, remember last week when this decision came down? I remember I saw some people in the chat going, well, okay, yeah, the decision came down, but Republicans are going to not, they're not going to do anything. A little pessimism in the chat. I get it. I get where pessimism comes from. You get, you get really discouraged by the people who are supposed to be representing you failing to do it with such frequency. The Republican states, quite a few of them, they're not disappointing here, guys, they're moving. In Alabama, they're moving, they want to wrap these new maps within the next 48 hours by, by tomorrow night with the goal of a 70 Republican delegation. Sean says it'll likely be 6 1, the final outcome. But even if it is, it'll yield an additional Republican seat out of the state of Alabama. So you've got guys who are on the move. And it's not just Alabama. Louisiana, of course, is already underway because that was at the center of the Supreme Court decision that you can't have racist districts. Louisiana v. Klay. So Louisiana's undertaking this effort right now in Florida. We're looking at it right now because they're already, the state legislatures already voted to approve the new maps that's underway thanks to Governor Ron DeSantis. They were looking at four additional seats getting picked up. In Tennessee. Governor Bill Lee on Friday announced his plans to convene a special legislative session that will begin tomorrow, May 5th to review the congressional maps of the state. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves also said recently that he would be using his constitutional authority to allow the Mississippi legislature to use their constitutionally recognized right to draw these maps once the new rules of the game are known, following Louisiana v. Calais. And they're going to have a special session later this month, later this month in Mississippi. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster also said that he's interested in revisiting the congressional map. He wrote on Friday on X that it, quote, would be appropriate for the General assembly to ensure that South Carolina's congressional map still complies with all requirements of federal law and the United States Constitution, which means South Carolina can't have any racist districts. Redraw the map. Get non racist map building here. And when you do, Republicans win, Democrats lose again, get rid of the racism, Democrats lose power. That's the story here. So we got every one of these states is underway now. Ron Corey just asked a great question in chat. What about Virginia? Keep an eye on Virginia. The state Supreme Court just had oral arguments last week, Monday on that subject. And they did not look kindly on the Democrats. They were heavily scrutinizing the way the Democrats are trying to rig the state right now. And the reason for that is not out of political fairness or anything else. It's out of the constitutionality of the effort. They were asking questions about, well, how is this constitutional? There was no intervening election. You didn't allow the appropriate amount of time to transpire in order to conduct this. And so there is an immense amount of concern right now among Democrats that the election rigging is not going to hold now. It's not done yet. We're awaiting the Supreme Court. But on Friday, breaking on Friday, the state elections board in Virginia met but did not certify the results of the April 21 referendum for the left to steal the state. And the reason they didn't certify is because they don't have a decision out of the Supreme Court yet. In fact, the attorney general of Virginia, Jay Jones, asked the Supreme Court to get rid of the pause on certification so that the certification could happen. And the justices rejected that request last week. So the certification's on pause until the Supreme Court makes a decision on this subject. And right now, Democrats are sweating bullets that they're not going to be able to rig the state. And if it helps our understanding of this, by the way, the betting markets, the public betting markets are, are all moving in the direction right now of the map staying the same as it's been, that Democrats will fail on the election rigging. So keep an eye on that as well. Good question about Virginia. There's. But ladies and gentlemen, things are happening, things are happening right now. And then today we've got big breaking news at the president of the United States. We've got a lot of, a lot of drama that transpired over the weekend in Iran. And let me just take you through the weekend a little bit. Just, just, just, we'll slam through the weekend on the Iran news and here's what we got. The Iranians apparently sent over a 14 point proposal by way of the Pakistanis to the Trump administration over the weekend. A 14 point proposal. And the president announced on Saturday that he's reviewing the offer. He announced, he's reviewing. He said it on Truth Social. And then he also got a chance to speak to the press on Saturday. No, I haven't, I haven't. I'm looking at it up here. Yeah, I'll let you know about it later. But. Well, I wouldn't have to. I didn't say that. I said that if we left right now, it would take them 20 years to rebuild. But we're not leaving right now. We're going to do it so nobody has to go back in two years or five years.

He's looking at it. I'll let you know about it later. I'll let you know about it later. They told me about the concept of the deal. They're going to give me the exact wording now, said the President of the United States. So he's, he's looking at this deal and it looks like he's rejecting it out of hand. He's, the president basically said that the offer is not acceptable. He told a reporter this weekend, a guy called Nathan Gutman, that, that the deal is not acceptable. President Trump tells me in a brief phone conversation the new Iranian proposal not acceptable, quote, is not acceptable to me. I've studied it. I've studied everything. It's not acceptable. So in the, in the game of Deal or no Deal, once again, no deal with the President of the United States. Now why is that? What's, what's in the offer? What did they, what do they offer? Well, here's what NPR claims in the, is in the 14 point deal they said the key points of the plan. Here, I'll pull this up for you so you can see it. The key points of the plan are the following. Include a demand to resolve all issues and end the war within 30 days instead of observing a two month cease fire as the United States had proposed. Other demands listed by the Iranian outlets included guarantees against future military aggression. So this is it. This will be the end of it. You can't come in and force us to do anything else. The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iran's periphery. An end to the naval blockade. So basically get, get the American military out of the region entirely. The release of frozen Iranian assets. That's billions upon billions of dollars flowing to the Iranians. Payment of reparations. Yeah, like hell that's going to happen. We're going to pay to rebuild the country. No. The lifting of sanctions, an end of fighting in Lebanon and a new mechanism governing the Strait of Hormuz. That's euphemism for Iran wants money. They want to charge a toll to anybody who travels through the Strait. So you can see why President Trump is rejecting this. And notice that none of this is includes any information about nukes because chat what's this all about? It's about nukes. It's about nukes and an Open Strait of Hormuz. So if you're telling us we're getting a constrained Strait of Hormuz and we're not getting a nuclear deal, why would the president say yes to this offer? He wouldn't. In fact, Iranian officials are trying to punt. We've learned from other outlets, they're trying to punt the nuclear negotiations until after the war. A state. The state media quoted Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman as merely Baghe. Baguette, quote, at this stage, we do not have nuclear negotiations, as my leader said, an apparent reference to Iran's proposal to set aside talks on nuclear issues until after the war ends and the foes agree to lift opposing blockades of Gulf shipping, according to cnbc. So they're trying to kick it. Oh, well, we'll negotiate the nukes after the war. No, I don't think so. No, no, no. We need a commitment now to end your nuclear ambitions entirely. That's the whole point. That's the whole point of this. That is his name, by the way, is Molly. Where's his. Where is he? Yeah, here it is. At this stage, we do not have nuclear negotiations. State media quoted Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ismaeli Baghdad as saying. Yeah, yeah, at this stage, you better have nuclear negotiations. Now's the time. Now's the time. So where have we gone from here? Well, breaking overnight, a couple. A couple big things happened. The President of the United States announced that he is now making it so that the Strait of Hormuz will be open to traffic by virtue of something called Project Freedom. President Trump announcing overnight that Project Freedom is underway. And he said he's fully aware that his representatives are having very positive discussions right now. Right now. He said that he wants to make everything safe for navigation. It's called Project Freedom. It's beginning Monday morning. So this is underway Middle east time. We're going to get the ships moving. In other words, we're going to get the ships moving. Now, what does this look like? How does Project Freedom work? Well, apparently it does not involve currently US Navy warships, actually escorting vessels. According to the Wall Street Journal, it is a coordination cell to move traffic through the Strait of Hormuz that involves countries, insurance companies and shipping organizations. According to two senior US Officials who spoke to the Wall Street Journal, it does not involve US Navy warships, escorting vessels. Not yet, at least. Now, Iran has been deploying mines in the strait recently. They've been dropping a bunch of mines, and that's created a whole bunch of dangers, of course, for commercial shipping. Also, Iran has been using what they're calling these little mosquito boats, these like small craft to attack ships in the region. And the Trump administration is trying to stop all this. They want to sink all these little menacing ships to the bottom of the sea. The latest Trump proposal, the Journal reports, will involve locating all these mines and passing along that information to ships who are transiting the waterway so they can avoid danger, as well as identifying generally the safest routes to navigate. United States military support for this effort is going to include 15,000 service members as well as guided missile destroyers, over 100 land and sea based aircraft and unmanned platforms, according to a statement by U.S. central Command. So look, what's happening as we speak is the President is saying, okay, we're going to up the ante here. We're going to increase the safety, the viability of these ships to move through the strait. Now we'll see if they actually take them up on the offer. They may be skittish anyway because of all these mines. That's a lot of, that's very expensive cargo to move through the strait. But the President's got this underway right now, which is interesting. The other piece is, does do the Iranians attack American warships who are guaranteeing the safe passage of these ships or for that matter, any of these other merchant ships who attempt to move through the strait? Now if that happens, the President has promised that interference, quote, will have to be dealt with forcefully. He said, unfortunately, but it will have to be dealt with forcefully. The President is promising a pretty overwhelming response if the Iranians continue attacks on these ships. So we're in a fraught moment, but it's a high stakes moment where the President is trying to shake free a deal. Finally, we'll see if we get one. And then finally, and I know we're going long today, but thank you for being here with me. The Iranian media claimed going overnight that they struck an American warship with two missiles. They claim that they struck an American naval vessel with two missiles. That is untrue. According to the Pentagon, the CENTCOM Central Command with a post this morning saying that no U.S. navy ships have been struck by U.S. forces are supporting Project Freedom, enforcing the naval blockade on Iranian ports. Right now it's just Iranian propaganda. No American forces have been struck and the mission continues. We'll keep our eyes on it. We'll keep our eyes on it. We got a lot to get to.
