Senate Republicans punt on ICE and Border Patrol funding bill amid backlash over the Trump administration’s proposed $1.8 billion “weaponization compensation” fund, with lawmakers leaving early for the Memorial Day recess. Congress now appears unlikely to meet the president’s June 1 funding deadline; Senate Republicans reportedly held an “incredibly hostile” meeting with Attorney General Blanche; the DOJ announces criminal charges tied to a record-breaking Medicaid fraud scheme in Minnesota.

Here we go. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Look, I'm telling you right now, you're going to see all of these hysterical headlines, both from the left and the right, that, oh, it's chaos in the Senate. The Senate is lost. What is President Trump doing? I can't believe he. He's done all this. If he had just endorsed John Cornyn, if he had just stood by Bill Cassidy, none of this would be happening. Ladies and gentlemen, I am so glad it is happening. I am so glad that there's a full blown panic session playing out such that the United States Senate went home yesterday with nothing done. They just, they just threw their arms down and they ran out of the building. We're not doing anything. We're taking off until June. They're upset. What are they so upset about? Why are they so upset? Take a look here. Here's a reporting from FOX News Special Report last night saying Senate Republicans go insane, flee town without any of that funding for ICE and Border Patrol, which of course they should have funded. Why didn't they fund it? They just fled Town Watch.
B
It's the biggest congressional rebuke of President Trump's second term.
A
I just don't know how this puppy dog will work. I think there were six or seven people who were going to vote no.
B
Republicans were on the verge of finally ending the ICE and Border Patrol funding impasse.
A
The soul sole reason we are here today is because Democrats refused to fund law enforcement at the Department of Homeland Security.
B
But the president's $1.8 billion compensation fund killed the bill. There are a lot of questions about it.
A
I have Republican colleagues who have concerns about who can receive funding from that fund.
B
A meeting between Senate Republicans and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche failed to convince lawmakers to oppose bipartisan amendments curbing the fundamental.
A
This is about a profoundly corrupt plan
B
by the president, and I think my
A
Republican colleagues have reached their limit.
B
Thune said the compensation fund makes everything way harder than it should be. Deadlocked GOP congressional leaders sent lawmakers home until June.
A
So this afternoon, Republicans, so divided, so dysfunctional, so disorganized, are fleeing Washington. Their majority can't melt down fast enough.
B
Some presidential allies defended the compensation fund.
A
Feel comfortable that been wronged by their

government should have some sort of redress.
B
And even though the president recently steamrolled opponents politically, Republicans blocked him legislatively.
C
Congress has our obligation to make sure we know what we're funding and fund
A
the government to a reasonable expectation line.
B
Congress never approved the fund. And lawmakers balked at awarding claims to Capitol rioters. President Trump wanted ICE and Border Patrol funded by June 1, but Congress missed that deadline.
A
Yes, indeed. So Congress hasn't done its job, which, remember, Democrats are not gonna fund ICE and Border Patrol because they don't want borders, they don't want immigration enforcement, that sort of hell with them. So we need to come up with a way to pass this with just Republicans. And the way to do that is through the reconciliation process. Right? We've talked about this simple majority. So the House does it now, the Senate has to do it. And the Senate's not gonna do it. The hell is that? And what's getting in the way? Did I, I'm sorry, did I hear that correctly? Did you say the so called $1.8 billion anti weaponization fund? Let's back up for a second on what the hell that means. First of all, it's not 1.8. Please be very specific. It's the 250th year of our country. 1776, the birth year of our country. How about we go with $1.776 billion, which is actually the total that's being committed to the fund. Not 1.8. Don't you round that number. The other piece of this is what the hell does this have to do with Congress? It is actually, at this point has nothing to do with Congress. This DOJ settlement fund was authorized back in 1956. It's been around forever. Congress has already done its job with regards to making this a part of statute. So to the extent that this became a part of the debate this week in Congress, they have no role in this whatsoever. This would be like Congress deciding we're not going to fund ICE and Border Patrol because we didn't like a Supreme Court decision. What? It has nothing to do with your branch, you morons. You throw a fit over what the executive branch is doing. How about you do your jobs? In fact, yesterday the Senate Republicans held what is being reported as an incredibly hostile meeting with Todd Blanche, the Attorney General of the United States. Look at this. Here's the report. This is from a guy called Andrew Desiderio. He's over at the punch bowl operation. He said nearly two hour meeting with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and Senate Republicans was incredibly hostile. Per multiple attendees, as many as 25 Republican senators spoke. This is very rare for these meetings. Usually the Senators don't feel like doing enough work to speak. They just sit there quietly. All in opposition to the weaponization fund. What? The fund that's dedicated to saving American citizens from the tyranny of their government. Did I, am I seeing this correctly? 25 Republican senators were speaking out against it. Half the Republican conference. Can we get a list of every single person who spoke up against it, please? That would be helpful. That would be a useful act of reporting. Give us the list so we can fire all of Them Republicans pitched specific ideas, such as dictating how the five commissioners are chosen and not allowing people convicted of violence against cops to be eligible for a payout. What a bunch of whiny bitches. So yesterday, Republicans freak out again. This doesn't even involve their branch. This is the executive branch making a wise decision. You remember how this all started? I told you at the beginning of the week, I told you at the beginning of the week, you know, somebody send this to these Republican senators because if they're just falling for, like, New York Times op ed pages or something here, they probably should change their media diet to something more useful, like this program. I told you at the beginning of the week that President Trump, rather than take a dime out of the United States government for the sins committed against him, he had to sue the IRS for $10 billion for their theft of his tax documents and dissemination of his tax documents by way of the New York Times, by way of ProPublica. So President Trump sues them, and now the Justice Department has established a settlement. And in the settlement, the president doesn't take a dime. Nobody in his family is getting any money. The only thing that they get out of this settlement is an apology. That's it. And then in turn, they established a fund of $1.776 billion to take care of Americans who have been hurt by the government, just like President Trump, people who've been spied upon by the United States, people who've been censored by the United States government, people who've been at school board meetings trying to speak up and have been tyrannized by the federal government. These are the types of people we're talking about. Of course they should be made whole. The hell's wrong with you Republicans standing against this? The White House even tried to calm the children down yesterday. They sent out a letter to the Senate Republicans explaining what the heck is going on at the Justice Department. Go ahead, Josh. You can put it on screen. We got this little graphic to show you the letter that they sent. There it is. That's a letter. There. There. Wait. Sorry. This way. I'm a terror again. I'm terrible at gesturing to where these things are on screen. Look at that. That's a letter. You ever see a letter before? Senate Republicans, you ever see a letter before? How about read it? How about read the thing? I imagine Todd Blanche said all this yesterday, but let me dive into what this says. It says the Anti Weaponization Fund was created to hear and redress claims of Americans who suffered from lawfare and weaponization. Okay, well, that makes sense. That's. That's the kind of. The whole point. Lawfare and weaponization. Uh huh, uh huh. Defined as the use of government power to target them for improper and unlawful reasons. The fund results from the settlement of a case involving unlawfully leaking tax returns. That would be the President's unlawfully searching the president's home and improperly targeting and investigating the President. Who will benefit from the fund? Well, this is about seeking accountability for all Americans who were victims of lawfare and weaponization. Millions of Americans. Millions of Americans whose online speech was censored at the behest of the government. Parents silenced at school boards, senators. You got that? Whose records were secretly subpoenaed, churchgoers targeted by the FBI, and so on. Submission of a claim is voluntary. Nobody's required to do it. This is why court approval wasn't even required. There's no partisan restriction. Democrats can submit claims, too. And the President and his family and the Trump Organization are not getting a dime. They're just getting an apology. The fund is going to consist of five members appointed by the Attorney General, Todd Blanch. One member will be chosen in consultation with congressional leadership. Oh, so Congress gets a say. The members will be tasked with creating guidelines for those applying to the fund and will ultimately decide which claims should be paid out. Claims are awarded on a case by case basis, and the commissioners must consider a claimant's personal conduct and character when making a determination. So if you're an unrepentant cop puncher, you're not getting money. That's what this says. Your conduct and character is involved. This structure is not without precedent. Most notably in a case referred to as Keeps Eagle, a group of American farmers. Native American farmers, sued alleging racism over past decades. The Obama DOJ settled by putting $680 million from the judgment fund into a bank account for a single claims administrator to dole out. By the way, what they don't even mention here is that this money was given to nonprofit groups on the left that had nothing to do with any of the legal claims. It was a slush fund for the left. That's not what this is. This is to take care of people who've actually been tyrannized by the government victims. This funding will come from the judgment fund. The judgment fund? What's the judgment fund? It's a perpetual appropriation created by Congress in 1956. So it's already been done. This is as a statutory matter. It exists already. This bull crap from Congress yesterday. Oh, we can't. We don't like this tough crap. It's already passed. It allows the DOJ to settle cases, including future claims. And the details of such settlements are actually Rarely made public. $1.776 billion. They say it's a fair estimate of potential claims given that literally tens of millions of Americans were subjected to improper and unlawful government targeting. Let me, let me make a quick math point for you, because you're probably following this, too. Wait a second. 1.776 billion. Let's pretend for a moment it's 10 million Americans that, that successfully make a claim here. Well, then that would be $177.60 a person. It's not that. It's not that high. It's kind of like, it's like one of those class action suits. You ever get the mail where they're like, you're entitled to a class action suit, and you're like, I don't think this is worth filling out the paperwork because if I do the 4 cents that I'm going to receive in the mail after they give it out to, you know, the millions of people that have been affected by the McDonald's liability suit or whatever it is. I don't, I don't think this is going to really be worth my time. But still, they're saying we got tens of millions of potential people who could claim a piece of this because how many Americans were censored on social media from expressing things like, I think Covid came from a lab. I don't think you should get the jab. I don't want to have to do it just as a condition of working at my job. And then you were like, shut down. Free speech in America was shut down. Is that not the weaponization of the federal government? You're not allowed to know about election altering news from Hunter Biden's laptop because the federal government put Facebook and Twitter at the time into a chokehold and said, you should censor this story. Yeah, yeah. No, there's definitely been a lot of tyranny. It's just the idea you have half the Republican conference right now that is, that's got their heads so far up their asses, they actually have convinced themselves that there was no government tyranny. Nobody's entitled to anything. Making Americans whole, to hell with them. That's their actual position right now. And the White House can explain it clearly and slowly as much as they want. But the reality is we have corrupt establishment Republican senators who need to be fired, and President Trump is in the process of doing that. And this has caused outrage in the Republican conference. Now, remember, just think about how this year has gone. We've been pushing for the Save America act all year long. We've been pushing for it all year long. In fact, going into last year. And with each passing week, Republicans have tried to come up with crafty ways to placate you, to settle you down, to be like, don't you worry we'll eventually get to it. Yeah, we're on your team 100%. And then they never actually get to it. It's just a bunch of, you know, shows, exhibitions where they just pretend like they're doing something for you, but they're not actually doing anything for you. That's been our great frustration. And so far, they've been basically able to hold the line. They kind of have been holding their conference together. They kind of are stringing us along. There's a couple people are speaking out about this, Mike Lee. But for the most part, they've been able to keep it under control. The thing that they haven't been able to control is that you and I have been beating down their doors demanding the legislation. We want election integrity. And we've had tremendous backup from the President of the United States. President Trump will not shut up about this. And I told you last week about this as President Trump kept posting on Truth Social. I said, I guarantee what's happening behind closed doors right now is John Thune is freaking out that the president will not stop talking about this legislation. And then the weekend came. What happened? Bill Cassidy got fired in Louisiana. This never happens. Incumbent senators getting canned. Trump helped make it happen. We fired Bill Cassidy. He in third place in the primary this week. President Trump endorses Ken Paxton. That's to throw out John Cornyn. Cornyn will get pink slipped next week. They're going to hand him his cardboard box in Texas next week. Say, you're out, buddy, you're out. And he can see the writing on the wall too, right now. So a revolution is beginning. A revolt is beginning right now inside of the Republican conference. And this I take as a sign of very encouraging news. I love the freak out because it is a sign that real change is happening. And yeah, it's uncomfortable, but it's good. It's a sign that they can't hold the line anymore. This is not going to continue. It can't. I've got more in just a moment. I'm going to walk you through how the revolt began based on what we're seeing this week in the public reporting, because I think we're at the beginning of something very, very important. And you should really congratulate yourself for being a part of it, because you are. You've made a lot of waves here. And now they've reached the United States Senate, which is, which is wonderful. All right, hold on. I've got a lot more to get to. All on this edition events want to thank one of our fantastic sponsors today, Pocket Hose Ballistic. Love Pocket Hose Ballistic. You know we have to replace the garden hose at the house every year because it would suck, honestly. It was, it wasn't working right. It would kink, tangle, burst. The Pocket Hose Ballistic, the upgrade we've been looking for, we love it. It's the toughest pocket hose ever built, reinforced with a liquid crystal polymer used in bulletproof vests. Now, we don't baby the hose, drag it across the driveway, yang it around tight corners, leave it in the sun occasionally, but you shouldn't do that. The Pocket Hose Ballistic, so easy to put away. No excuse, just put it away. But even if you do, the Pocket Hose Ballistic can handle it all. Plus it comes with the pocket pivot for total freedom of movement right there at the spigot with full 360 degree rotation. I move it follows the water flows. And now for a limited time, when you purchase a new pocket Hose ballistic, you're going to get a free 360 degree rotating pocket pivot and a free thumb drive nozzle. Just text Vince to 64,000. That's Vince to 64,000. For your two free gifts with purchase, text Vince to 64,000. Message and data rates may apply. Thank you. To Pocket Hose Ballistic. Okay, so we've, we've got some, some amazing things going on right now with the United States Senate. So how did this all go down this week? Well, according to a fellow called Burgess Everett, alongside an old colleague of mine, Shelby Talcott, they report from where they at these days. They're at semaphore. Semaphore where they are. They say the following. This is what happened. This is, they say how Trump lost Senate Republicans. Well, the answer to that is Senate Republicans didn't pass the Save America Act. Let me short circuit the whole thing. They didn't pass the Save America Act. That's how, that's how this happened. And so, and now they're, now they're living with the consequences of their own inaction. But here's what the thing says. President Trump's juice is low after Bill Cassidy lost and Trump endorsed against Cornyn per Senators and aides. His juice is low. His juice seems kind of high. If he can pick and choose senators to fire, I would say he's got high juice, not low juice. His juice is high, not low. Senate Republicans hated the Ken Paxton endorsement. They hated it. They saw the attack on the parliamentarian as a low blow. Politically. The anti weaponization fund is, quote, unexplainable. And that's the problem, said Senator Kramer. Screw you. What do you mean, unexplainable? You know, many Americans were absolutely treated like utter crap by the federal government. That's the explanation. McConnell, using Democrats words, called it a slush fund. Timing for the fund was terrible. Coming before the reconciliation vote, a GOP aide saying, quote, this is a delay of the administration's making. No, it's not. No, it's not. This is. That's garbage. That's utter garbage. Here's why. Again, this. This is the executive branch's discretion. Congress authorized this thing back in 1956. You have nothing to do with it right now. You let that be an excuse for your own inaction. Republicans spent two weeks wrangling over ballroom security. That's East Wing security, by the way, not ballroom. Before deciding to drop it, the White House indicated to Republicans it could threaten to veto a reconciliation that's not to Trump's liking. Well, yeah. You know, there are three fundamentally three major parties to any piece of legislation. I don't. Do I need to go through Schoolhouse Rock for you? The House, the Senate, and the president all have to sign off on legislation for it to become law. So if the president doesn't like it, he can veto it. Grassley told Blanche that the administration needs to coordinate more with Congress. What the hell is. What is he talking about? The administration has been so kind. President. President Trump has been so completely patient with the Senate to levels that have at times frustrated me. But again, I keep voting for the guy. So part of this is just like kind of trusting his judgment to do the job. But it's frustrated me that he's not been calling for John Thune to be trebuchet out of leadership. It's like, come on, the guy's your problem here, Grassley. For his part, Grassley is an impediment because he leads the Judiciary Committee, and he's the reason we still have blue slips in the United States Senate right now. He's the reason that we're still. We still. We're still dragging ass on US Attorneys and federal judges. That's insane to me. Adam Schiff and the rest of these idiots should not have a veto over the people that we need in the criminal justice system to render justice. And so Grassley and John Thune are lucky that the President has held his fire with them. We need them to cooperate with us more. Dude, you are. What's the President say about these guys? You don't have the cards. You don't have the cards. You don't have the leverage, pal. President Trump is holding all the cards right now and you're going to stick a finger in his eye. Man, I really wish he would work with us more. That's all he does is work with you. In fact, to our great frustration, it's taken forever to get the bare minimum out of you. So that's Grassley, White House official. No one should be doubting how he's able to bend everything to his will. They're referring to the President here. Senator Lankford on jilted Republican senators says, quote, none of them are punitive enough that they're not going to do something to poke him in the eye. But they also represent their state. In other words. I think he's saying that they're going to try to avoid upsetting the President, but they need to represent their state. I think Lankford is saying, okay, that's fine, but wouldn't representing your state mean taking care of the people who live within it? Why would you get in the way of a fund dedicated to helping them out? They're upset. Look, what are they upset about, Vince? They're upset that their establishment game is being upended. That's what they're upset about. They're upset that you have a say and in the business of the United States Senate. They're upset that the Save America act is being taken this seriously at this level by this country. They're upset that this is distracting from their ability to continue their status quo corrupt schemes. They're upset that they're watching their establishment buddies get fired by the American people at the behest of the President of the United States. They're upset that the good old boy club is being broken up before their very eyes. That's what they're upset about. So their emotional response is a clear indicator that you are winning. Clear. It's not even close. It is clear that you are winning this fight. In fact, John Thune told reporters yesterday that President Trump's endorsements and thus voters decisions to fire all of his friends have been playing a role in why Republicans are freaking out. Here's what he said, according to Brendan Petterson. He's a. He's a reporter as well. Brendan Petterson is reporter with Punchbowl. Thune was asked if Senate Republicans are responding to politics, that is Trump's endorsements and snubs this week. Quote, it's hard to divorce anything that happens here from what's happening in the political atmosphere around us. Thune said, you cannot disconnect those things. You cannot disconnect those things. Oh, it's about the politics of it. Now, Chad, let me ask you a really basic question here. If John Cornyn didn't want to be fired, what should he have done? If Bill Cassidy did not want to be fired, what should he have done? If John Thune didn't want to see all of his establishment buddies getting fired by the voters, what should he have done? Let me just give me some ideas here. What could he have possibly done? What could these guys have done to avoid the chaos that they're now witnessing and engaged in? Yeah, that's right, Lightning rabbit, chop wood. You've got it. The Save America Act. Pass the freaking Save America Act. Do you know how far that would go? Do you. Do any of you nimrods understand and maybe. Do I have to speak slowly here? Let me, Let me. Okay, okay, look, you want to keep your job? I've got advice for you. You ready? Pass the Save America Act. No, no, no. Shut up. No, no, no. Don't ask any other questions. Save America. That's all you have to do. You do that, you keep your job. You don't do that, you lose your job. No, no. Just pass it. Just pass it. This is so freaking simple. This is so freaking simple. Your careers. If you want to do this anymore, just do what we want. This is. That's the deal we have. That's the deal. You should have passed the Save America Act. Should have. What a coulda. And now you're suffering the consequences of your own failure. Sean Davis said this. We love Sean. Very smart. He reacted to this nonsense from Thune. He goes, Trump told Thune exactly what he needed to do to save Cornyn, and he gave him months to get it done. Thune and Cornyn and the rest of the worthless Senate Republicans refused to do it.
D
And.
A
And now they're acting like a bunch of spoiled crybabies. You should have passed the Save America Act. You didn't do it. Now we're looking for somebody who will. Sorry, this was so. This was the easiest possible thing. In fact, why are they even taking off at all until June? Get your asses back to the Senate Pass the Save America act and we can change the dynamics. You want to win the midterms? Do you really want to hold onto a majority in the Senate? How about do something that's worth voting for? And you know, these, this, this whining about the fact that Americans are getting money from a weaponization fund, legitimately getting money from a weaponization fund. It's pretty rich coming from these Republicans in the Senate. And I'll tell you why. There's a lot of reasons, but there's really, there's one really delicious Hypocrisy here. Mitch McConnell and others are complaining right now about the fund. You heard a bunch of other of these Republican senators are complaining. 25 of them were apparently bitching and moaning at the Attorney General about this yesterday. Did you know that the Republicans in the Senate voted to give themselves money last year for being victimized by the federal government? Did you know this? Look at this. New York Times, November of last year spending bill would pave way for senators to sue over phone searches. Republicans have voiced outrage that Jack Smith looked at lawmakers phone records. Legislation to reopen the government would allow them to sue for $500,000 each. Wait, hold on. So Republicans in the Senate voted for legislation that would give United States Senators half a million dollars a piece if they were spied upon by the federal government. So you are entitled to be made whole if the government is weaponized against you. But Americans broadly who are not in the United States Senate are entitled to nothing. Do I understand the rules of this game correctly? This feels like a George Carlin bit. You know, it's a big club and we ain't in it. Half a million dollars a piece for you, but nothing for us. Got it? Remember when the news broke last year that all these senators were being spied upon? I said to you at the time, I was like, man, if they can do it to them, imagine what they're doing to the rest of us. But it was interesting that we, we had never heard more volume or fervor from Senate Republicans who are demanding the impeachment of all sorts of figures, the imprisonment of all sorts of figures. How dare you spy upon us. We need to be made whole. We need the justice system to work. Man, they finally got loud. $500,000 a piece for you. Now you're probably wondering, is that really, Is that the law? Did that actually happen? The answer to that is no, it didn't in the. And the reason for that is because in the United States House, they got rid of it. The House members got rid of it. The House unanimously voted to scrap the measure that could give senators up to $500,000 for being spied upon. That happened by November 19th. But just so you know, United States senators, Republicans voted to give themselves money as a way to make themselves whole after they had their rights attacked. And they did have their rights attacked. Clearly, the government under the control, especially of Barack Obama and Joe Biden was out of control. It was a completely tyrannical and, you know, for years now, we have been trying to basically metaphorically grab Republicans by the shirt collar and say, hey, will you please get at election rigging? Would you please get at all of these tyrannies that are being perpetrated against the American citizens? Why is it so hard just to get you to speak in English sentences about the things that matter so much to us? And now it's coming to a head. We are. We're living through a revolutionary moment. And Republicans in the Senate are freaking out. Good. Freak out. It's a clear sign that we are winning right now. All right, we've got a lot more to get to. I'm sorry, I'm just energized today. I'm very. I'm very energized. I think something very good is happening, and so I'm happy to share it with you today. But. But, man, it is messy. You know how I sleep so well at night, though. And then we found Helix. We. Then we found Helix, and, man, that's changed our lives. We both love our Helix mattress, and the reason that we have such confidence in it and the reason we matched up so nicely is. Is because over@helixsleep.com Vince, they've got this sleep quiz. You take the sleep quiz, and then suddenly you're matched up with the perfect mattress for you and the way you sleep. That's how we ended up with the Midnight Lux. We love ours, but the Midnight Lux might not be the right one for you. They've got a ton of different mattress models, 20 different mattress models to choose from, and you will be matched up perfectly with exactly how you sleep. There's no guesswork, no compromises, and I feel the difference. In fact, Helix has done the research on it, too, and they found that 82% of sleepers actually experience an increase in deep sleep. That's meaningful. Just go to helixsleep.com Vince get 27% off site, wide exclusive for you. That's helixsleep.com Vince. 27% off. Make sure to enter this show's name after checkout so they know that I sent you helixsleep.com/vince. All right, thank you to Helix. I. Yeah, look, I'm sorry. I'm spending a lot of time on this issue today because I think that we're at the beginning of something very, very epic. Or not even at the beginning. The beginning was a while ago, as usual. That's usually how beginnings go. But we're at. We're at a real big pivot point right now, and I'll be fascinated to see what the President of the United States does with it because he's dealing with some lunatics in the Senate and he's working on cleaning it up. I told you this week that nearly 20% of Republicans are being turned over right now. That's great, but we've got more to go. We've got more to go. And at this rate, I don't think Jonathan stays as the leader of the United States Senate. I don't, I don't think that happens. So we'll see what, we'll see what happens. Meanwhile, over in the United States House of Representatives, the President continues to have problems there, too. Among some of these guys. You've got a, you've got a Pennsylvania congressman by the name of Brian Fitzpatrick. Any of you in chat live in his district, you may want to change your congressman soon. He just joined an effort in the House, a bipartisan effort with a Democrat called Tom Suozi to ban the anti weaponization fund to get rid of the fund designed to help American citizens who've been attacked by their government. Yeah, so what is, what is that exactly? Now, I don't expect that to go anywhere. I think we've got enough, enough sway in the House right now to prevent this idiocy from going forward. But the lesson here is clearly that obviously there are Democrats who are really happy with government tyranny, but there are even Republican congressmen who are trying to protect government tyranny. This dude's a psychopath. Brian Fitzpatrick. The hell is that? You're going to protect a tyrannical government? You should not be in the United States House of Representatives. Just imagine putting your name on that and then pretending like that you're doing something decent. That's actually horrifying. Horrifying. And the president has not been happy with that Brian Fitzpatrick character. He was going after him earlier this week as well, and I expect he'll probably do a little bit more of that. But his problems right now primarily are in the United States Senate. And that's what he's trying to deal with. That's what he's trying to deal with. Let me see, a couple of remainders from the United States Senate of people who are running in Senate races. We've got John Cornyn, who is still pretending like he's going to be Ken Paxton next week, despite the fact that the voters in Texas don't want him. And President Trump has endorsed Ken Paxton. Here's Cornyn on. On C Span. Watch this. Cut to pac. Has vowed to do the same thing. Will you do that? Or how do you feel about him saying he's going to do that at this stage in the race when it's not over?
E
You know, Judgment Day is coming for Ken Paxton, maybe in more ways than one. But the election on May 26 is the first time he will actually have been held accountable for all of his misdeeds.
A
Oh, my God.
E
He lied to his senior staff, who turned him into the FBI because they. He was interfering with a federal investigation of his campaign treasurers. When he fired them, they became whistleblowers, sued him, and got a 6.6 million dollar judgment against the state of Texas. That's you and me. He's not going to have to pay. That you are. And then he's lied to the American, the people of our great state. And so the question.
A
So what's happening here? Enough of this. So what's happening here is John Cornyn is trying to dirty up Ken Paxton in the final days of the campaign. Now, Cornyn sees the writing on the wall. Corn is smart enough to know that he's about to lose this race. So he's going to spend the final days of the campaign trying to muddy up Ken Paxton. How does that help Republicans? First, first of all, because supposedly John Cornyn is, you know, Mr. Establishment. I'm going to help the Republican Party. And then, most importantly, how does that help the country? You want James Talafrico to win the gig? Is that what you want? Wouldn't you realize that it's so obvious that you're losing next week that at this point you should just drop out of the race anyway? But, no, he doesn't. He's holding onto the bloody end because Cornyn, like Bill Cassidy, has decided that this is not about any underlying principle. It's not about the good of the country. It's about instead your ego and how it's bruised. And so the balance of your time in this race and then subsequently in Congress will be spent on a revenge tour against the people who stopped your political career. Again, President Trump is clarifying for us, isn't he the great clarifier of our time? He's clarifying for us who's actually on our side. If it was just a difference of opinion and President Trump endorses Ken Paxton, and Cornyn's like, yeah, you know what? I still love the country. I still love my party. I don't want to do anything to get in the way with it. I'm going to bow out, just let this happen. That would be the kind of response you'd get. But instead, you get this kind of venom in the closing days of the campaign designed to hurt Ken Paxton to try and wound him heading into the general election. It's so selfish. But President Trump's exposing all of it. So every time I see one of these headlines, it's Like, I can't believe President Trump did this. Thank God President Trump did this. That's my attitude about it. I'm grateful for that. No, no figure in American politics has done more to clarify who everybody is, what they represent, what they're all about, than President Trump. Have you noticed that everybody's kind of exposed their true colors because of President Trump? It's amazing. It's just amazing. Insane. Meanwhile, there's up in Maine, there's a Democrat with a Nazi tattoo running for office. He's. His plan is to join the United States Senate because, you know, Democrats, Nazis, you know, they kind of go together. Here's the guy's name is Graham Plattner. He's pretended he called himself a history buff, and then he was like, I had no idea I had a Nazi tattoo. What kind of history buff are you? So are you a liar about being a history buff? Is that what it is? Or are you lying about the fact that you knew you had a Nazi tattoo? At what point were you lying? That's really the fundamental question, I guess. But he's. He's kind of wacky. He's very wacky. And earlier this week, there was some reporting about an old Reddit thread that he had. He's been trying to. To cover all this up, but apparently he was talking about how frequently he spent his time. Well, how do I describe this? Even on a podcast, Even on an uncensored podcast. How does one describe this? He. He spent a lot of time whacking. It is what he said in Porta John's overseas. So somebody asked him about this as he entered a school yesterday, and here's what that looked like. Graham Platner, do you still have to masturbate when you see Porta Potties?
E
Ah,
A
I don't know who asked that question, But God bless him. That was, by the way, that was the. That was the medical explanation for, for what Graham Platner was up to. So that was probably the best way to describe it. So anyway, that if you're wondering how Grant Platner's campaign is going, he's running. For those of you who are listening to the audio podcast, Platner refused to even acknowledge the question, and he sprinted into the school. Although they should probably keep him away from the school. How is he allowed near a school? Curious about that. Yes, indeed. No, Democrats are. Democrats are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. In fact, we had a news report come out yesterday that the. The DNC's autopsy, the Democrat National Committee's autopsy of what happened in the 2024 campaign was finally released and revealed that Democrats don't care at all about trying to appeal to voters. How do we know that? Because nobody put any effort into this autopsy. CNN had this report and they said that they were describing it. They were saying that there were a lot of conspiracy theories that were being fed about this report originally because it wasn't coming out. The delay fed a rat's nest of self serving conspiracy theories. Remember as I read these, these are all from the left. These are just left wing conspiracy theories. One of them was that the DNC chairman Ken Martin was trying to protect Kamala Harris as she considers another presidential run. That's a good theory. Maybe that's, maybe it's about her. She is the front runner. Obama campaign alumni might have been protecting each other. That's a good theory. They're corrupt. They would do that. High priced consultants were trying to keep millions in fees from being revealed. Okay, so that's another good theory. A lot of big money in the Democrat party. They have a lot of corruption. So maybe that's what was being protected. Again, these are all the, this is the left's theories about this. Or the party was trying to hide how voters reacted to the Gaza crisis. That's another, that's a euphemism for saying they were trying to hide how anti Semitic their party is. Or one of the most widespread theories. Maybe the autopsy didn't exist at all. Well, the reality is it does exist. They do exist. It does exist. And, and what they found out is that it sucks. It was terrible. CNN obtained extensive details about its contents, including slides from a presentation at a donor tree that were, that were generated using an AI model. DNC officials turned the whole thing over to cnn. CNN is publishing its missing key sections, including a conclusion because those sections weren't submitted according to the dnc. There are factual errors. They had misspellings of the names of former New Jersey governor John Corzine, former Kentucky governor Matt Bevin. They incorrectly listed the margin of victory in the 2024 Race for North Carolina governor. In other words, the report was so half assed, so poorly produced, not even spell checked. It was somebody took their face and rolled it on a keyboard and then said here's an autopsy. The DNC didn't want to release it because to the extent that they have any shame at all, they saw this document, they're like this sucks, we can't release this. This doesn't tell any stories. And so what's the story that we derive from it? Well, the story we derive is that the DNC doesn't care about voters. If you did, you would actually make an earnest effort to find out why you lost the 2024 election. You'd be thinking it through. You'd be like, well, how do we win going forward? And the way to win under a conventional understanding is to appeal to voters. So what was unappealing about our offer to voters in 2024? Well, the borders were wide open. America was in chaos. We had. Prices were sky high, inflation was at unfathomable levels. The Democrat primary voters were not even given a choice of who their candidate was. Kamala Harris was imposed on them. She was one of the single most incompetent. She was probably the single most incompetent presidential nominee in American history. She, she was completely unlikable, running against a sincerely likable and certainly charismatic and accomplished former president, a guy who had a track record of success that was now being compared against the track record of the morons who were running against him. So those are all exact. Pay me. You could have paid me a couple of bucks, given me a steak dinner, and I could have told you the answer to this question. You lost because you suck. That's the reason. It's not that complicated. You don't have to have any typos. That's an easy sentence to spell. But they care so little about their voters, they didn't even bother to do a real autopsy. So what that really tells us is Democrats realize that they don't win power based on votes. They win power based on rigging. They have 40 unearned congressional seats across the country right now, thanks to rigging congressional districts. There's nothing to do with appealing to voters. They just racially segregate districts. Or they get unearned districts with illegal aliens populating the ranks of the United States Senate census, rather, in a way that we can't distinguish them from American citizens. So Democrats operate off of unearned power. They kick presidential nominees, presidential candidates off of ballots in places like Maine and Colorado, which is what they did to President Trump. They tried to banish him from the ballot, not because they had better ideas, but because they didn't, because their ideas suck. And the only way they get power is by rigging ballots. They rigged the entire media conversation by foreclosing entire patterns of conversation that you're things that you're not allowed to talk about, you're not allowed to talk about. COVID not allowed to talk about where it came from, not a lot to talk about. Hunter Biden they banish you from social media. The big media companies prevent people from talking about these things. And to the extent they acknowledge them, they say they're conspiracy theories. It's an entire system of rigging dedicated to Democrat power that has nothing to do with appealing to voters. It just has everything to do with either scaring them into compliance or rigging the way that they get their votes counted in the first place. So that's, of course, why they didn't have a real autopsy. They didn't need one. What, we're gonna start appealing to voters now? No, no, we've. We've gone too far. We say boys can become girls. Nobody likes that. We open up borders. Nobody likes that. Yeah. No, there's no. No chance we're gonna admit that's the reason we lost the election. Got it. Meanwhile, we have an administration that is tackling the left's crimes. It's fraud. It's rigging. Yesterday, we had a huge bust in the state of Minnesota where tampon Tim Walls, the vice presidential nominee. I can't even believe they did that. Where tampon Tim Walz is in charge. Yesterday we got a huge announcement that fraud force has busted a $90 million Medicaid fraud scheme, and they've announced charges against 15 people with more to come. Epic, epic thing. Huge announcement. Yesterday, Colin McDonald, who's the assistant Attorney general that handles fraud at the Justice Department, made the announcement, which is great. That's the guy who reports directly to the Vice President of the United States, J.D. vance. And last night, J.D. vance released a message explaining what exactly just went down in Minnesota yesterday.
C
Just like all of you, I was shocked last December when I watched Nick Shirley's bombshell investigation of migrant fraud in Minnesota, which called attention to the now infamous Quality Leering Center. Instead of learning and other schemes across that state. This morning, the ringleader of the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme in Minnesota was sentenced in federal court to over 40 years in prison, bringing justice to the countless school children and families she had scammed. And on top of that, today, federal law enforcement launched a massive raid in Minneapolis. Across the city, agents have arrested 15 people for suspected fraud that amounted to $90 million. This includes two of the largest Medicaid fraud cases in Minnesota history, as well as the largest autism fraud scheme ever charged.
A
Okay, the autism fraud scheme, to be clear, you know what's happening with that? This is mostly Somali families in Minnesota who were getting kickbacks from. From fraudsters. So the fraudster would say, hey, I'm gonna run this this autism center, I'm gonna take a bunch of Medicaid money, but in order to do it, I need actual human children that we can say are autistic. And, and, but we don't have any of those. So the parents are like, don't you worry, we'll pretend. So they pretend like the kid's autistic, and instead of having the kid get any service whatsoever, because the kid's not autistic, doesn't need service, the fraudster takes a ton of money and it gives the family a little bit of a kickback so that they can use their human children as a part of this scheme. That's the way it's been going down. And this is the Trump administration busting that entire operation by the U.S. federal government.
C
With this action, we're bringing justice to some of America's most vulnerable citizens and justice to the American taxpayer. In 2018, Minnesota tried to provide housing services for the homeless. They estimated that the cost of the program would be $2.5 million a year. By 2024, the program had exploded to $104 million annually. And almost all of that, almost all of it, was because of fraud. As a result, the state had to shut down the program and can no longer provide those services to Americans in need. So we've got homeless veterans sleeping on the streets because fraudsters got rich.
A
Awful.
C
But it's not just the homeless who are the victims of these fraudsters. The victims in the cases announced by DOJ today also include disabled Americans who rely on community support to live full, independent lives, and citizens for whom defrauding such programs is literally a matter of life and death. In one of the most horrifying cases charged today, a recipient who needed 24 hour care was supposed to be receiving exactly that through a Minnesota Medicaid benefit program. But he received nothing. No care, no services, nothing for months on end. And then he went quiet for two days. A neighbor tried to check on him, knocking on his apartment door. Nothing. Shortly after, he was found dead. One day before this man died, the fraudster in question had tried to bill for the non existent services, the services that if they had been provide, this man might actually be with us today.
A
So in other words, there were even people who were supposed to be receiving these services, and the fraudsters were merely using them as a vehicle to steal this money and to provide no aid whatsoever. That man was found dead and the fraudster was still trying to collect money for providing nothing. God bless the team that's cracking down on this. Please do more More, more, more. And I'm glad JD Vance is on this. You know, I will say if they can continue this pace to take down these fraudsters, this has the chance of being up there with securing the border as one of the biggest successes of this administration. It's just, it's just incredible. And we're talking hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud every year in the United States. More, more, more. Stop these evil people. Stop them in their tracks. One of those evil people tried to flee the feds this week led to hilarious video. This guy, his name is Muhammad Omar, Mohamed Omar. And I don't know if he's any relationship to Ilhan, but Muhammad Omar leapt from the fourth story of a building and broke his leg. It looks like he broke his leg on the run from law enforcement. Take, take a look at this. Cut four. Watch.
D
Before I begin my crux of my remarks, I need your help. On the screen, you will see a subject. You will see a subject depicted on the screen here of an individual was a target of the investigation this morning. That individual is currently on the run after having jumped out on the fourth store, fourth story balcony. I want you to get a good look at him right now. You'll see him, you'll see him running.
A
Here.
D
He is currently on the run. We need your help. If you recognize this individual, if you know this individual, if you, if you can provide any information related to this, related to this individual, I would encourage you to call 1-800- call FBI C A L L FBI or go to the Internet at www.tips.FBI or call your local law enforcement.
A
He's hopping. They were, they were. I was thinking after they announced this, I was like, it can't be that hard to find the guy, can it? So here's. They gave you his update. Somebody asked for more clarification about the fraudster and who was hopping away from law enforcement. And of course, the feds were hot on his track. You would normally say tracks, but he only had one foot to hop on. They were hot on his track. Here's what they said, cut five about him yesterday.
F
The man in this, in this video, he is a charge defendant named Mohamed Omar. Mohamed Omar is the man in this video. He is charged, one of the 15 defendants charged in the fraud cases that we have brought today. And I would encourage the public to help turn this man in to face justice for the fraud that he has perpetrated. And now to face the additional charges for seeking to flee from law enforcement and seeking to obstruct justice by virtue of his conduct today.
A
Yeah, so, you know, I don't. I don't know. He looks. He looks pretty hoppy yesterday. And the truth is, like, he might say that he's not guilty, but I don't think he has a leg to stand on. I think. I think he's in trouble. They did catch him yesterday. The feds, the FBI announced. Cash Patel announced that he's been captured, which is wonderful news. Thank you, Cash. Thank you, guys. He says after today's interagency press conference announcing those 15 healthcare fraud indictments in Minnesota, the below subject who was on the run, Mohamed Omar, has now been arrested. He's charged with healthcare fraud involving a housing stabilization services company with fraudulent claims for services not provided and diverting the proceeds for personal benefit. There he is. We got Hoppy. We got him. We got him. You know who else we got? We got somebody who was running a fraudulent daycare that was featured in one of Nick Shirley's videos. Isn't that fun? God bless Nick Shirley. Nick Shirley was at the press conference yesterday in Minnesota and Dr. Oz was there. RFK Jr. Was there. They were thanking Nick Shirley for his great work feeding our future defendant now facing daycare fraud charges in Minnesota. This is a local Fox affiliate, kmsp. They say here Fahima ega Muhammad was charged with Wednesday with wire fraud and conspiracy defraud the United States. Prosecutors say Muhammad was the CEO of Future leaders early learning, a daycare in Minneapolis near George Floyd Square. Authorities say Muhammad enrolled the daycare into the federal child nutrition program through Feeding our future and falsely claimed to be serving thousands of meals at her child care center. She was featured in Nick Shirley's viral video, viral video that the media was crapping all over and the rest of us were celebrating because it was calling attention to fraudsters that we need to get the hell out of our country. And so that process is taking place. Nick Shirley getting big thank yous yesterday and the media not at all correcting its slander of Nick Shirley. Nick Shirley, we salute you. Want to thank America's veterans. But the most important thing for us to do this weekend is Memorial Day, is to honor the fallen, to thank the many heroes in our nation's history who've paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. I want to just. Just honor their memories today as we head into Memorial Day weekend. God bless them for keeping this great American project going. And we should be inspired by their sacrifice because we have a great country and we should fight every day. Fight, fight, fight every day to keep it going and not not just in their honor, but to uphold the great gift that they've given us. So thank you. To America's heroes. Memorial Day is all about you. Appreciate that. Today on the big national radio show, I will have the honor. Two things, if you don't mind. We've got two things I want to share with you. One, General Colonnades is going to join me on the show today. For those of you who don't know, my father is a retired Marine Corps major general. He'll be joining me on the show today. I asked him if he would mind stopping by. We'll talk about Memorial Day with him on the big national radio show that's coming up today. And one other thing this is I know we make a distinction, of course, between Veterans Day and Memorial Day, but I can't help but think of ways we can help our veterans, too, on Memorial Day. There is a project that I'm a part of. It's called Operation Raise the Roof. We put roofs over the heads of America's veterans. And this is fundamentally for guys who can't afford to get a roof but have served our country so honorably. It also takes care of Gold Star families, too. That's a, that's a direct Memorial Day reference for you. It's called Operation Raise the Roof. If I can show this to you. The website is operether op raisetheroof.org and it's a great team. And what they do is that free of charge, they put a new roof over the heads of American veterans. So far, they've done $760,000 in donations that have been raised to fund these free roof replacements. They go over the roofs of, over the homes of these great American veterans. Oftentimes a lot of these guys are Vietnam veterans these days that we take care of. And it's really neat to be able to say welcome home to our Vietnam veterans. And usually what we do is it's every quarter a new roof for a veteran family. And we'll get the fire department out there, they'll raise a big American flag over the top of the house. We'll bring out the local police department will usually show up. Local barbecue joint will show up, make food for everybody. It's wonderful. And I just really think they have an amazing mission. So I'll be talking about this a little bit on the radio show today as well. But it's Operation Raise the roof. That's opraisetheroof.org, operetheroof.org I'm on the board there, and I And I do that because I love these guys. I think they're doing great things. God bless you. You're great. The best audience anywhere. Monday is Memorial Day. Our team is going to have the day off on Memorial Day. But I will be back with you on Tuesday. And I'm so excited for it, as always. Just have a wonderful American weekend, especially this Memorial Day weekend. God bless you. I'm in the big national radio show today, thevin show.com. you can get your local radio listings, of course. Dan Bongino is on today, 10aM that's rumble. Com Bongino. Haley Karanilla is on today. That's at noon Eastern time. Rumble. Com Haley. Haley with two Y's. Why? Because she loves America, that's why. Rumble. Com Haley and I can't wait to see you real soon. Thanks as always.
Mutiny in the Ranks
Host: Vince Coglianese
Date: May 22, 2026
Key Theme:
This episode centers on what Vince calls "utter chaos" inside the Republican establishment, especially in the U.S. Senate, as a backlash erupts over key legislative failures, internal party mutinies, and President Trump's aggressive endorsement strategy. Vince details the Senate upheaval, dives into the controversy over the $1.776 billion "anti-weaponization" fund, highlights massive fraud busts under Trump’s administration, and skewers both Democratic and Republican establishment figures for failing American citizens.
[00:50 – 07:00]
Senate GOP left D.C. without settling funding for ICE & Border Patrol; the GOP is in meltdown, unable to unite. Vince calls this a “beautiful” sign of grassroots power.
President Trump’s insistence on the “Save America Act” and his refusal to endorse establishment figures (e.g., Cornyn, Cassidy) has split the party.
The $1.776 billion anti-weaponization fund became a lightning rod; Senate Republicans are divided and angry, upending normal proceedings.
Key Quote:
[07:00 – 24:00]
What is it?: A $1.776 billion fund (not $1.8B, as headline writers keep rounding it up) created via a DOJ settlement (not direct Congressional appropriation) to compensate Americans “hurt by the government,” including those censored, spied upon, or targeted after incidents like school board protests and social media takedowns.
Controversy:
Vince’s Analysis:
[24:00 – 32:00]
Trump’s endorsements (Paxton over Cornyn, ouster of Cassidy) and constant pressuring for the Save America Act have driven the establishment into panic.
Multiple senators (Thune, Cornyn) openly admit Trump’s political clout is having effects inside their ranks.
Vince’s blunt advice:
Senate establishment is depicted as stubbornly defending status quo, ignoring both Trump and grassroots demands.
[32:00 – 38:30]
Trump is “clarifying” for voters who’s truly on their side—primary upsets, endorsements, and party infighting show old guard Republicans getting ousted for failing to deliver on core issues (like election integrity and border security).
Cornyn tries to “dirty up” Ken Paxton before the Texas GOP primary, but Vince notes “the writing is on the wall.”
[42:00 – 48:00]
[49:30 – 56:30]
DOJ, under Vice President JD Vance’s “fraud force,” busts $90M in Medicaid fraud (including largest-ever autism fraud) with 15 arrests in Minneapolis.
Details how schemes used fake claims for services (especially for autism and disability care), sometimes with tragic outcomes:
Colorful moment: One accused fraudster, Muhammad Omar, tried to flee law enforcement by leaping from a 4th-story balcony (broke his leg (“he might say that he's not guilty, but I don't think he has a leg to stand on…” (A, 56:22)), but was caught soon after.
Another fraudster, Fahima Ega Muhammad, operator of a daycare exposed in viral video, faces federal charges.
[57:00 – END (~59:00)]
Vince briefly plugs “Operation Raise the Roof,” providing free roofs for needy veterans and Gold Star families (opraisetheroof.org).
Expresses gratitude for fallen soldiers as Memorial Day approaches:
