He was doing tricks yesterday on the radio show on one of the commercial breaks, I was throwing treats to him and he was catching them. He went three for three. It was good. I was like, he didn't even realize. It was his big moment. He has no idea there's a camera pointing at him. He went 3 for 3 on catching treats in midair. It was awesome. During that radio show yesterday, I was alerting the audience to the fact that I had begun to hear a genuine and, well, let's just say a credible rumor that the Attorney General of the United States was about to be leaving her post, that she'd be on the way out, Pam Bondi destined for the exits. Yes, it's true, the media had begun reporting those claims, but yours truly doesn't just believe the legacy media. And then I started hearing from reliable sources that that's the case as well. And sure enough, within the hour, Pam Bondi was out. We got the announcement from the President of the United States via Truth Social that, that she is out of that gig. He said that Pam Bondi has done a great job, that she's a great American patriot, a loyal friend who has faithfully served as my attorney General over the past year. And he said she did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in crime across our country, with murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900. Like, you know, whatever else you're going to talk about when it comes to Pam Bondi, as we look back in American history on the role that she played as attorney General, the truth is the attorney General, the Justice Department, they are ultimately in charge of the FBI. And the FBI deserves a tremendous amount of credit for the work that they did in dropping the homicide rate all across the country to on record lows, just record lows. So Pam Bondi is going to get her share of the credit for that. And the president gives that to her as he says goodbye to her and the job. He says, we love Pam. She will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector to be announced at a date in the near future. And our deputy Attorney General and a very talented and respected legal mind, Todd Blanch, will step in to serve as acting Attorney General. General. Acting Attorney General. Todd Blanche, remember, Todd Blanche was the President's personal attorney, the guy who defended him in court against all of the tyranny that we've seen over and over and over again. There does there is some somewhat of a satisfaction that comes with the fact that now he's the top prosecutor for the United States, at least for now, he's the acting Attorney General. We'll get to that in a moment, but I want to start with Pam Bondi. Pam Bondi. You know, it's not the most typical thing in the world, but also not the most unusual thing in the world that somebody in the position of Attorney General for President Trump would leave on a relatively short timetable. Attorney General Bondi's been there now just over a year. And, you know, you remember back at the beginning of Trump's first administration, he had Jeff Sessions for a short time. Jeff Sessions, who basically checked out during some of the most critical elements of the President's time in office, decided to recuse himself from anything related to Russia investigations. And that proved to be a disaster, a complete disaster. Rod Rosenstein then substituted his judgment, appoints a special counsel in the form of Bob Mueller, and the rest is history. So the President has always been sensitive to the shortcomings or the failures or the, or the lack of 100% effort on the part of his attorneys general. He just needs excellence in that job. It's a super important job. And he needs the absolute best. And there were times in Pam Bondi's tenure where she didn't deliver the absolute best. Let's just be honest. When Attorney General Bondi began her tour through the Jeffrey Epstein files and how she was going to handle them, she made a series of mistakes that I think have haunted her ever since she stepped on rakes. In other words, remember early on, it was February of last year, Pam Bondi goes on national television as a part of a series of television interviews where she starts promising that she's about to release devastating Jeffrey Epstein information that was going to implicate all sorts of people of criminal wrongdoing. Here she is in February of last year. Take a look at her on tv making such claims, said last week that

So we have to make sure that their identity is protected and their personal information. But other than that, I think tomorrow, you know, the personal information of victims. Okay, so then, so you start getting these statements from, from Pam Bondi and then not much. In fact, one of the big sequences last year was at one moment, there were a bunch of conservatives who were welcomed to the White House as Pam Bondi was handing them binders that supposedly were contained. Contained a bunch of Epstein information. And in the end, nothing was actually in the binders. Nothing of value anyway. Nothing revelatory. And as people were walking out of the White House, were photographed carrying these binders that said that there was Epstein information within them. And then ever since then, the people who were carrying the binders were attacked for merely carrying the binders. That's not on them. That's candidly on the Attorney General, Pam Bondi, for subjecting them to that sort of weird publicity stunt. That, that didn't, that wasn't a value at all. And then on July six last year, the United States Department of Justice, an unsigned letter claimed that there was nothing else to release, that it was over, that the, that Epstein had no client list, that there was nothing else to share with the public, and therefore this, this is a settled matter. Well, that too was absurd. And the public reacted by saying what? I'm sorry, you were promising all sorts of things and now you're telling us nothing. I, I don't understand this at all. And that led President Trump to get involved personally. President Trump, who's got more than enough things to deal with as President of the United States, gets involved and they pass a law in Congress that President Trump signs into law mandating the release of all of the available Epstein files, which the United States Department of Justice has produced since that was President Trump's involvement. So just imagine being in his position. President Trump, especially as it relates to the Epstein saga, is a guy who has been really well acquitted in that saga. The guy who was constantly helping authorities go after Jeffrey Epstein, the guy who kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of Mar A Lago, the guy who was in touch with the local sheriff about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes, who was talking to the defense attorney on behalf of the victims. He was the most helpful witness to the defense attorney. President Trump routinely has been the guy who's come out as the good guy in this entire saga, and yet he's being demonized by a legacy media that is desperate to smear him in any way they can. That's been the wrap up smear technique that they constantly used against him. So just imagine his frustration throughout all of this as Pam Bondi made a series of unforced errors and the President had to come in and clean up her mess. That's just how it went down. Does that mean Pam Bondi did nothing of value as Attorney General? No. As I mentioned at the outset, the fact that the FBI working for the DOJ could help bring down the murder rate to the lowest levels in American history is the kind of thing that she can hang her hat on. That's a meaningful, a big success. Fentanyl flows into the country. The DOJ has a lot to do with prosecuting the criminals that are involved with that. Fentanyl flows have dropped by over 50% into the United States of America. She has reason to, to be proud of that. They've arrested a lot of bad guys. I'm gonna talk today more about the fraudsters they've taken into custody. That matters a great deal as well. And they have pursued so many of the people who tyrannize the President and the people around him. They have, they've gone after high value government officials, well known government officials. Certainly you know the case of John Bolton, that's one that we're looking at. They went after James Comey, Letitia James. They're going after these people one after the other after the other. Now, how much success have they had? It's been a mixed bag. You've watched as cases have collapsed in places like the Eastern District of Virginia because it wasn't quite clear that the Justice Department had its act together to be able to successfully stick the landing on these cases. And you and I are waiting with bated breath on what's going to happen in South Florida right now with a Allegedly a grand conspiracy case that is going after people like John Brennan, James Comey, and all the other people who have been hurting our country so badly since President Trump announced his run for president back in 2015. We have very big cases to deal with, and we need a very competent person at the top of the United States Department of Justice to do it. The other thing, Pam Bondi was not always a great communicator, as I just laid out for you. There were times she would go on national television. Perhaps there were times she spent too much time on national television saying too little. But what you do need is someone who can communicate on a routine basis with the public, coherently, competently, and with a ruthless efficiency about all of the bad guys we're pursuing and successfully prosecuting and locking up. We need somebody who can do both, someone who can lead a Justice Department through prosecutions and can communicate routinely to the public to restore faith in an institution. And that has lost all faith. One of the other realities of this is the. Is the United States Department of Justice, as a. As a cabinet agency, has one of the lowest reputations in the entire federal government because of what the left has done with that agency. It's true the DOJ and the FBI have some of the crappiest reputations in the entire federal government. People instinctively now think that these agencies are selling them out, lying to them, pursuing injustice rather than justice. So as a result, even Trump officials have become the inheritors of the crappy reputation of those departments. This is what Cash Patel has been fighting at the FBI, trying to fix that bureau while simultaneously trying to dig it out of its reputational crisis. Not a small task. This takes a colossal effort. And again, you need somebody at the top of the United States Department of Justice who can handle that competently, efficiently, and coherently. And President Trump has determined that is not Pam Bondi. He's asked her to leave. Now, allegedly. The conversation reportedly that the president had with Pam Bondi occurred on Wednesday as the two of them were headed to the United States Supreme Court for that oral argument on birthright citizenship. He apparently told her then in the car that he was gonna ask her to go. And sure enough, he made the announcement yesterday, Thursday. And that brings us to the next step. What do we have now? Well, now we have Todd Blanche. Todd Blanche is the Deputy Attorney General of the United States. Now he's gonna be the Acting Attorney General of the United States. Todd Blanche is President Trump's defense attorney. He stood next to him in all of those court battles during 2024, he helped prevent the election rigging by the American left. During 2024, he battled in courtrooms from New York to Georgia to Washington, D.C. todd Blanche was there with him. President Trump's got a lot of faith in Todd Blanche, which is why he asked him to become the deputy attorney general in the first place. And now, for the moment, he's going to lead the Justice Department. Now, it doesn't appear that he's going to be the permanent guy, but he does acknowledge that we do have some very big cases to deal with. He can only say so much right now. Again, he's the, he's the top prosecutor now. But he was asked last night by Jesse Waters about all of these very high profile, tyrannical people who have gone after President Trump and the people around him through the years and what kind of prosecutions can we expect for them. The president reportedly probably obviously frustrated that the case is against Tish and Schiff and Brennan and Comey. Not really going anywhere. Are you the guy that's going to be able to get that done?

Look, I think the president is frustrated. Everybody is frustrated because what we saw happen for the past four years is unforgivable and can never happen again. And so certainly I don't mind the frustration. I appreciate the frustration because we do have to make sure that what happened for four years never happen again. And we don't talk about investigations. But I can tell you that the Department of Justice is working hard every day. It was working hard yesterday, and we're going to keep on working hard tomorrow. And I'm honored that President Trump has asked me to step in as acting and also much appreciative for what Pam Bondi did for the past year.

Not only do I understand, I lived it. Jesse, don't forget I was on your show the night two years ago, the night that President Trump was found guilty in Manhattan in the middle of the lawfare. So I do not need any kind. I had a firsthand accounting of what happened. And so, yes, I understand it. The American people understand it. And I know that the American people expect that it will never happen again. And we take that seriously.

Yeah, we take that seriously. So what is Todd Blanche doing? Todd Blanche is doing, well, his job. There's only so much he can say, as he points out, I can't, about ongoing investigations. But clearly based On John Brennan's own accounting, there are hundreds of subpoenas that have gone out in South Florida right now in this grand conspiracy case. A very, very live situation going down in South Florida right now. Todd Blanche is aware of all of it, but again, can't talk about it. You know when he can talk about it, when the indictments pop up, when you actually get indictments out of that case, may those come soon. We were hoping for them earlier this year. We'll continue to hope for them as imminently as humanly possible. But as soon as those indictments show up, then we'll get more out of the now acting Attorney General of the United States, Todd Blanche. So we'll keep our eyes on that. Now, who could take the role? Who could be the next Attorney General of the United States? Who do you want to see in that role? I think as a matter of descriptors, we, what we really want is a killer. We're looking for somebody who's got it all, somebody who can bring these prosecutions, knows which jurisdictions to bring them in, is doing things based on the chances of success and is restoring justice to the United States of America not just for high profile people but all across the board. We need somebody who is a competent prosecutor and a competent leader and a competent communicator. Who could that person be? I'm going to talk about some of the names that are being floated right now and some of the challenges that might be in the way of getting them in place to have them do the job in the first place, namely the Senate. And there are going to be meaningful impediments here. For instance, Thumbelina Thomas, Phyllis, or whatever the hell his name is is still inside the United States Senate, still causing problems. He's nominally Republican, but already last night he was on CNN whining about January 6th as his primary consideration for who gets to be the next Attorney General. Watch Thom Tillis. Thomas Tillis. Excuse me, I want to say it correctly last night on cnn.

One is the investigation of Jerome Powell. There will not be another Fed Chair confirmed until that' of or until for the first time since the allegations were made public, they could actually prove there's even a scintilla of criminal activity. We have seven Republican members of the Banking Committee saying there wasn't. Now, separate matter for me, the threshold for somebody following Pam Bondi ends the moment I hear they said one thing that excused the events of January 6th. I've been very clear on that. So I hope whoever they have in mind to follow. General Bondi was very clear eyed on my position on January 6th. That's why I didn't support two other nominees who were coming through Judiciary Committee. And I won't support any nominee who thought that any element of January 6th was excused.

What was it again? A defense attorney for January 6th defendants. Well, I'm sorry. January 6th defendants are not entitled to a defense. Thomas. That's who he is. That's who that guy is. He's a bad man. He's a bad man. All right, I'm wiping my nose. Hold up. He's. He's got to leave the Senate. We got to get rid of that guy, so. Well, we are getting rid of him, but it's just. It can't come soon enough. So he says January 6th is the threshold. And of course, he, like, takes the wrong side of that issue. What an idiot.

So he'll try and get in the way, but chances are we might be able to get somebody through without him. We could get somebody through without him. Now, let me run down the list here of who we're hearing. Mary Margaret Olahan. The great Mary Margaret Olahan over at the Daily Wire. She's got a list she published overnight of some of the people that she's hearing from her White House sources or people close to the White House. And here's what they're saying right now. People close to the White House are throwing around a lot of names for Attorney General. She says. Here's a few of the names that she's had mentioned to her today. Mike Lee. I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'll get to these. I'll get to these all. Mike Lee, Harmeet Dillon, Ashley Moody, Lee Zeldin, Eric schmidt, and Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis also included. She included it as a second tweet here, also. Ron DeSantis. All right, let's just assume for a moment that this is. That this. That this is an authentic list, which I think is safe to assume, given Mary Margaret's a fantastic reporter. Let me start with the Mike Lee and Eric Schmidt thing and an Ashley Moody for that matter. No more senators. Stop it. I mean, look, it's going to be up to the President what he wants to do. But can I just. Can I just throw the flag on senators? We don't need senators to go. We don't need senators to. We need people who are on our side to stay. Right now, the last thing we need to do is empty the Senate out anymore. We've already gone through a number of senators who've joined the Trump administration, starting, of course, with Vice President J.D. vance to begin with. And then you just had Mark Wayne Mullen lead the Senate now to become the head of Homeland Security. We are playing with very thin Margins. I don't want to see any of this, that one, I don't want to see any more senators disappear. Two, a guy like Mike Lee, I, Mike Lee's chief of staff was already on X yesterday saying, first of all, Mike Lee is not even trying for this. He's not interested in the job right now. And he was making it pretty clear because the people who are advocating this or have been pushing Mike Lee are people in the Senate who don't like Mike Lee. Right. So understand, why is Mike Lee in the news right now? Chat. Why is Mike Lee one of the biggest possible names in America right now? Outside of this conversation about Attorney General, why does everybody know about Mike Lee at this moment and his work in the United States Senate? What piece of legislation is possibly attached to Mike Lee that has everybody talking about him right now? Yes, the Save America Act. The Save America Act. Mike Lee has been undertaking a Herculean effort to try and get the Save America act passed. So as a result, what is, what is happening right now is, is senators and people around the senators who don't like that Mike Lee has, has thrown off their status quo lifestyle, who's thrown off their big plans, who, who's forced them to talk about, think about and pursue election integrity. The fact that Mike Lee has upset the apple cart so much has led people within the Senate to pretend like, oh yeah, that'd be really great, he really deserves it. They just want him out of the Senate. Imagine thinking that the position of Attorney General is the kind of place where you send somebody when you don't want to deal with them. That's how conceited and self interested some of these senators are. They're so full of crap. They're not pursuing election integrity and they want to get rid of the guy who is. So how about this? How about you keep Mike Lee. Mike Lee's already said, by the way, in the last 24 hours, he's not interested in going anywhere. He said, I'm not going anywhere. He's going to stay right there in position. He's going to stay right there in position. Now another person like Eric Schmidt, Senator Eric Schmidt. Eric Schmidt's great. I really like Eric Schmidt, but he should stay in the Senate for the reasons that I just enumerated, which is we need Senators. We don't have the margins to play with here. Let's keep the good senators in place, the people we can rely on in place because we got enough squishes that are going to be left behind if the good ones leave. Let's not do that. Let's not do that. Now, Eric Schmidt has the benefit of having been a state attorney general. That's really neat to see in that conversation. I want you to remember there are a lot of state Republican attorneys general who fought so hard for us during the Biden years when, when there was nobody else to turn to. There were Republican attorneys general all across the country who were suing the Biden administration like crazy. All of those people, many of those people should probably be considered for the role. Like the kind of, whether or not they're the kind of good fighter in this. You had, you did have a state attorney general who left to join the Trump administration by the name of Andrew Bailey. Andrew Bailey, remember, was the Missouri attorney general, and he joined the Trump administration as the, the deputy director at the FBI. I remember when Dan was there, when Dan Bongino was there as the deputy director. Andrew Bailey came in as the co deputy director, working alongside Dan in that role for a while. Now he's the deputy director at the FBI. And there has been some reporting that suggests that Andrew Bailey was brought in originally to the FBI to potentially be groomed to become an attorney general replacement for Pam Bondi. Now, is that going to be the arrangement? We'll see. But I just want to, I want to plant that seed in your mind just in case it occurs that that was at least what some of the reporting has suggested in the past, that he might be the kind of guy who could fill a role like this. But back to that list that I was just referencing with you when we talk about what Mary Margaret's sharing. So we have the various senators that I don't think should go anywhere. They should stay in the United States Senate. You've got Ron DeSantis, the beloved governor of Florida. You talk to people in Florida, they love Ron DeSantis. And chances are they don't want to be to see him go anywhere down in Florida, the free state of Florida. He's done a good job for them at times. He's had some, he's bumped heads, of course, with President Trump. They had a very rough primary phase. They seem to have mostly gotten over it. I don't see the warmest embraces between the two of them all the time. But Ron DeSantis is a pretty competent attorney, competent governor, and again, I think the people of Florida would be glad to keep him there. Let me highlight two people, though, who are getting a tremendous amount of attention, who probably should be getting that attention. That's Lee Zeldin and Harmeet Dhillon, Lee Zeldin, and Harmeet Dhillon. And here's why. Lee Zeldin is the head of the Environmental Protection Agency. He has a fantastic track record. He's run the EPA really well. And the staff that's around him reportedly is saying that he's very much in play right now to become the next Attorney General. That apparently is the conversation with the White House. Clearly, Mary Margaret is saying that that's the case. Lee Zeldin, I think, could be a pretty impressive Attorney General. But I just, insofar as you know, I can say whatever I want on this subject. I just want to really emphasize the latter person here, which is Harmony Dillon. Harmony Dillon is a conservative attorney with an incredible track record fighting on behalf of certainly conservatives, but civil rights everywhere. And I don't mean civil rights the way the left talks about it. Civil rights, when the left talks about it, they're talking about it in a way that how do we advance Democrat Party power? How do we base people? How do we judge people based on their skin color? How do we pit people against each other based on their immutable characteristics? Harmony Dhillon is the answer to all of that army. Dhillon right now is the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department. She's already been Senate confirmed. She's already gone through the Senate process. In April of last year, she got a vote of 52 yays to 45 nays, 52 years to 45 days in the United States Senate, April of last year to confirm her. And I just checked. There's Thom Tillis. Look at Thom Tillis was a yay for her last year. So that's the kind of thing you could put directly in Thom Tillis's face. You're like, hey, you were, you were a yay for her in the past. Why not be a yay for her now in the job at the Civil Rights Division? Her division has been a standout in that department. Whatever your concerns are about Pam Bondi, they should not apply in any way to Harm me, Dylan. Harm me. Dhillon has been outright aggressive. Remember the raiding of that church in Minneapolis? You remember what happened when all of those, those insane people poured into that Christian church in Minneapolis, were menacing the faithful in there. And then there was, of course, that natural concern that you and I both had, which is, well, how long is it going to take to take these people into custody? Are they going to be arrested? Is there going to be consequences for violating the First Amendment rights of those Christians? And there were and you know why? There were. It was Harmeet. Harmeet, who runs that civil rights division, ran it with aggression, and as a result, they secured those results. And that's not the only thing she's been going after. Civil rights violations on college campuses, civil rights violations all across our country, genuine civil rights violations. And if she's given the ability to run the entire United States Department of Justice, then she will be able to bring her long history of aggression on behalf of our country to bear on behalf of the President of the United States. I think Army Dillon's name, I'm glad to see it here. I think it should very much be under consideration right now for this big role. And to be crystal clear, I don't know if people assume this, but I guess I always assume this. When I see anybody anywhere in media say anything like, oh, I think that person would be great. And then you question their motives. You're like, are you being paid to say that? Is somebody telling you to say that? Is there some sort of operation? I've seen others say Harmeet Dylan, too. I'm going to sell you straight up. I just like her. This just came from me. I was talking to producer Jim yesterday about it. We've been talking about it for a while. Even before the Pam Bondi thing came down, I said, if Pam Bondi's ever released, I've replaced. I've said it on this program, I've said it on the radio show. The homes are all behind gates and essentially hidden behind all of this greenery here. This is a very private, exclusive area. You wonder where the money from hospice fraud goes. Some of it goes to funding a certain, certain lifestyle. One person, a man in custody. This is the alleged, this is the owner of an alleged fraudulent hospice. This would probably be, I guess a psychologist. And I see, I see further back a woman being escorted as well. I see two people, I see a few people being escorted actually.

There we go. Okay, thank you. Yeah, so that's CBS's Yamaguchi Adam. Adam Yamaguchi there on for CBS present as they're making this arrest of a couple that is accused of stealing $7 million from American taxpayers in a hospice fraud scheme. And I was looking at some of the New York Post coverage of this yesterday, and I was stunned by some of the data that, that the FBI has here. Take a look at this. Here's what the New York Post has to say on the subject. They said the raid was one of several that took place yesterday all across the country as a pass, as a part of a massive federal effort to tackle widespread fraud in California. It's a part of Vice President J.D. vance's fraud task force. And they. Oh, and the California Post was there as well, meaning the New York Post's California affiliate was there. Okay, so this is smart. This is, this is the walk of shame. The Trump administration calling the media and saying, get out here. You got to see these fraudsters we're taking into custody. In dramatic fashion, the couple, Amalu Gill and Gladwin Gill, who operates St. Francis Palliative Care in Anaheim, were arrested at their home by an FBI SWAT team as authorities sawed through the metal front gates of their property and called with loudspeakers for them to come out. Dr. Mehmet Oz, who is the administrator for CMS, we just had him on the podcast, remember, ladies and gentlemen, he was on the scene as well, and he said the couple created a hospice in their daughter's name and bilked millions of dollars from taxpayers. Since 2022, there have been allegations, but for four years, what seems to be typical in California, nothing was done. He said the hospice had a mortality rate. You ready? Of 2.3% over the last five years, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. 2.3%. Chat. What do you use a hospice for? What's a hospice for? Let's just say it's. It's a. It's a. Well, she's. One word. Present progressive. It starts with a D, ends in eyeing. What is. What is a hospice for? Yes. Yes. RW Goes die. It's for dying. It's for the end of your life. So nobody who goes to the hospice dies. Everybody survives. It's an Easter miracle. Everybody. Everybody who goes to the hospice. We should. We should not be prosecuting these people. We should be studying them. What miracle did they have going on at their operation? That only 2.3% of people are kicking it, Everybody else is surviving? Does that make any sense in any context other than Fraud? No, no. This is precisely what Dr. Oz has warned us about, which is you've got these goals. You've got these people who will go to old people. They'll take their Medicare numbers. They'll pretend like they're helping them with some sort of urgent medical need or some sort of casual medical need, and then they'll use their numbers, and then they'll register them as being in hospice. That's what they'll do. And we've seen reports like healthy, healthy women and people just like, out there playing tennis and things cbs. That guy, Adam Yama. What's his name again? Adam? Josh. Remind me. Yamaguchi. Is that his name? I don't want to screw it up, but CBS is Adam Yamaguchi. Okay? So he did this report where he talked to this woman. She was playing tennis. They were playing tennis together. And he featured her. And he goes, she tried to get Medicare coverage. She was denied because they told her she was in hospice. She's like, I'm not in hospice. I'm doing great. What are they talking about? Her number was stolen. Her number was stolen by these unscrupulous thieves, by these fraudsters who steal the money and then pretend like they've got people in hospice when they don't. Nobody's dying. A 2.3% mortality rate. 2.3% mortality rate. What a complete and utter scam. And that takedown was one of a bunch that happened yesterday. It wasn't just that couple. The United States Department of Justice revealing eight people were arrested in a health care fraud takedown, including the owners of hospices that billed taxpayers millions of dollars to serve the alleged dying bill. Asale is the U.S. attorney in the area. We're enforcing a zero tolerance policy for criminals who defraud American taxpayers. The defendants arrested this morning, who are charged with stealing millions of dollars of health care benefits, got caught and they now face years in federal prison. And they go through the list here. There's a bunch of cases. There's USA versus Minard, which involves someone called Lolita. Minard, AKA Lolita. Barania Rice of Anaheim, a licensed vocational nurse, was arrested yesterday on a federal criminal complaint charging her with health care fraud. According to the documents, Maynard owned and operated a hospice. Allegedly from July 2020 to April 2025, she used the company to submit more than $9 million. 9 million in fraudulent hospice claims, which paid to Medicare, which paid more than $8.5 million on those claims notice. By the way, that's the Biden administration that gave her a crap ton of your money. Through Topanga. Through Topanga. That's the hospice that she has. Through that hospice facility, Maynard billed Medicare for hospice services for beneficiaries who were not terminally ill. Numerous beneficiaries had common addresses and lived far from the facility, which is consistent with being recruited by marketers. The investigation further revealed that Maynard paid kickbacks to beneficiaries and marketers for the referral of purported hospital patients, hospice patients to a company. We saw the same thing in Minneapolis. Remember this in Minneapolis with the, like the autism scam, defeating our future scam. What was happening was Somali immigrants were stealing billions of dollars from the American taxpayer and then they would give kickbacks to families who would pretend to have an autistic child in order to make sure that they could keep the money flowing and nobody would rat them out. That's the way they were operating. One beneficiary couple was approached at a market about signing up. They were then visited at home by Maynard and three other of her employees who promised them if they signed up, everything would be free and they would each receive $300 per month. The money was delivered in an Envelope in cash. $600 per month for six months. Neither beneficiary stated that they even had a terminal illness which their physician confirmed. The hospice facility, this one had a non death discharge rate of approximately 85%. Let me put that differently. In other words, they had a mortality rate of 15% but the non death discharge rate from the hospice was 85%. That's nearly five times the national average of 17.2%. 17.2%. Again, put differently, only if people, if someone goes into hospice, they only have a 17.2% chance on average of actually being discharged from the hospice alive. Most people pass away at an end of life facility that's standard as normal. But every so often somebody bounces back and they, they don't need, they're not at the end of their life yet. They, they're discharged from the hospice facility. They had a non death discharge rate of 85%. Again, either it's a miracle or it's fraud. Or it's fraud. Then we of course had the case yesterday of USA vs Gill. We just saw that we have another one. USAV Palma USA v. Tindi Mobuna and then USAV Laritzen, USAV Olava Moala, USA v. Sriracha, USAV Cartmel, USA v. Griffin USAVCO. Guys, the Trump administration is moving with aggression against these fraudsters. Now obviously there's always going to be a series of Follow up questions with something like this, you know, are we going to take down the Democrats who enabled this from happening? When do we see Gavin Newsom and the people around him in handcuffs? When do we see Tampon, Tim Walls and Jacob Fry and Keith Ellison in handcuffs? When do we get the money back? Can we get the money back? Those are all perfectly reasonable, good and thoughtful questions. And the answer is, of course, all of them are going to be complicated. It's like, you know, can we. Can we demonstrate that those guys, those leaders, committed crimes? If we can. Good, lock them up. Is within the statute of limitations. Good, lock them up. Let's get those guys. The other piece is the money, which is a great question. We've talked about this before. The Feds have disclosed over and over and over again that it is very hard to get money back once it is fraudulently stolen. It's very difficult. And the reason for that is invariably the money's not often sitting in some random account that they can go in for, they can seize. Usually it's been spent. It's been spent on all sorts of absurd things. Nick Shirley saw this. Nick Shirley's standing in the middle of a. Of a fake hospice facility with a whole bunch of different places pretending to be hospices. And in the middle of the parking lot, you've got Maybachs and BMW M8s and Cybertrucks. You have all these ridiculously expensive vehicles, and that's because the money's gone out the door already. It's been spent on luxury goods. You have beautiful homes that people have purchased. You've got. Which. That's an asset you can see. You can see as an asset like that. But they also have money that's been sent to Somalia, it's been sent overseas. It's very difficult to get that money back once it's been stolen. Which is why this needs to happen in two parts. One, you prosecute the criminals who have violated our laws and you lock them up, serving as a massive deterrent from other fraudsters. Other would be fraudsters stealing our money. And then, two, you prevent it from happening in the first place. You become better at auditing the way US Taxpayer dollars go out the door. This is what President Trump's been talking about. President Trump's being attacked this week for saying that we shouldn't be spending money on these programs where there's no oversight. He's always being attacked. So that's like saying that it's a day that ends in y. But my point is simple, that this should be Localized. The federal taxpayer shouldn't be on the hook for these programs that have no oversight and tremendous amounts of money going out the door. How about no, how about no more of that? If a state wants to run some sort of local support program, let them. That should be on local taxpayers in that state. It shouldn't be on all American taxpayers. Get it as close to the people as possible, those kinds of public assistance programs and that way they can hold their people accountable inside of their states. That's the way this should work. Because the way the current system is working is not a disaster. Which is why J.D. vance, the Vice President of the United States has to get involved. This is why he has to run it personally. And this is not a small thing. I mean, you think about what it means for his future. He's one of the guys that President Trump clearly favors as the kind of guy who can carry on his legacy in 2028. Both he and Marco Rubio obviously are at the center of that conversation. And according to them, you know, they're best of friends. There's reports that the two of them will probably actually run together, which could be wonderful for the country. I think that the two of them run together. But this is a very high stakes thing for both of them. Neither of them are doing easy jobs. They're not doing mail it in jobs. They're not doing like meaningless things. They're doing the biggest things our country could possibly need from them and they're having success. JD Vance yesterday posting to X. Our task force isn't wasting any time cracking down on fraud. This morning in the LA area, federal law enforcement is taking down fraudsters who stole over $50 million from Americans by defrauding our health care and hospice systems. Thank you to Dr. Oz and thank you to U.S. attorney Asale for their work, says the Vice President. But he's again running this operation directly from the White House as Bill Assailee, the United States Department of Justice were emphasizing yesterday. So that's great to see. That's really great to see. Finally today, I want to share some good news with you for America's troops. Pete Hegseth is the Secretary of War. And one of the realities of the time in which we're living in is that the left thinks that law abiding citizens who own guns is a bad thing. They don't want you to own guns. The only people the left is interested in owning guns are the government and criminals. But law abiding citizens, they're trying to deprive you of that in A big way. And one of the ways the left has led a full on assault on your rights through the years is by attacking one of the great and traditional institutions in our country on a routine basis. And that's the American military. The left has always had a special animosity for the military. They don't like that it's a merit based system. They don't like much about the fact that we have men and women who volunteer to serve their country, who carry weapons on behalf of this country, who represent an honorable culture and who, you know, who have instilled in them a sense of great pride and patriotism in their country. The military's always been a source of real annoyance to the American left, which is why they're constantly leading assaults on it and they're constantly trying to infuse their own destructive ideology into it. It's why wokeism has made appearances in the military. It's why they've tried to diminish the value of, say, Christian chaplains in the military or injected atheism into it. The left has had a long stream of attacks on the military and Pete Hegseth has been working to fight back against all of them. And overnight we just got an update from Pete Hegseth that he is restoring gun rights to troops on American military bases. That's right. The troops can now keep their personal weapons with them. Our great republic was founded on a simple yet bold idea. Our rights as citizens are not granted to us by government, but instead by God. 250 years ago, the Revolutionary War was fought to secure our God given rights. The second amendment to our Constitution enshrines the right of all citizens to carry weapons to protect themselves, their families and their fellow countrymen. The War Department's uniformed service members are trained at the highest and unwavering standards. These warfighters entrusted with the safety of our nation are no less entitled to exercise their God given right to keep and bear arms than any other American. Our war fighters defend the right of others to carry. They should be able to carry themselves. Recent events, like what happened at Fort Stewart, Holloman Air Force Base or Pensacola Naval Air Station, have made clear that some threats are closer to home than we would like. In these instances, minutes are a lifetime. And our service members have the courage and training to make those precious short minutes count. Before today, it was virtually impossible. Most people probably don't know this. It was virtually impossible for War Department personnel to get permission to carry and store their own personal Weapons aligned with the state laws where we operate our installations. I mean effectively our bases across the country were gun free zones. Unless you're training or unless you are a military policeman, you couldn't carry, you couldn't bring your own firearm for your own personal protection on to post. Well, that's no longer the memo I'm signing today. Directs installation commanders to allow requests for personal protection to carry a privately owned firearm with the presumption that it is necessary for personal protection. If a request is for some reason denied, the reason for that denial will be in writing and will explain in detail the basis for that direction. Again, the presumption is service members will be able to have their second amendment right on post. Not all enemies are foreign, nor are they all outside our border. Some are domestic. Confirming your God given right to self protection is what I'm signing into action today and I'm proud to do so.
