Hey there.

Welcome to Vince on a Wednesday. It's good to have you with us. We've got a big show ahead. What the hell's going on with John Thune? John Thune, who members of Congress thought was on the verge of getting all these senators to the floor to pass the SAVE act, suddenly seems to be, well, wobbling. I don't like wobbling. Let's shove him in the right direction. We'll talk about John Thune and what he's up to today. The president of the United States weighing in on the fight for voter id. And where's the American public on voter id? I've got some answers that will not shock you whatsoever and will further cement the fact that Democrats are only trying to cheat to steal elections. More ahead, all on this edition of vince. Got a lot, a lot of great stuff to get to. Thanks for being here, as always, the best audience anywhere. Let's see, what do we have today? Who's a great sponsor today? Oh, there we are. American Financing. American Financing, wonderful sponsor of our program and a wonderful relief to people who are in immense credit card debt. You can watch it anytime. I'm there for you. I'm ready to start your day. Or just listen to the podcast. Gee's been tinkering with the podcast feeds all across the planet. Uh, one of the things that I've been hearing, I've been getting a lot of income, like Vince, it's hard to find the podcast or I found it, I think, but I'm seeing something, a random image. And yeah, you know, these podcast feeds, they take a minute. They take a minute, you gotta, they gotta send all this information to all the podcast companies and they slowly ingest it. So now the graphic has changed, now the title has changed, now this and that. We're fixing it. And I just got a report from Gui moments before we started the program that it's virtually all done, not 100% and Gee's 100% guy, so he's still chasing all of that down. But just so you know, all the podcast feeds, they should be basically good now just look for Vince on all of your podcast stores and you've got that in that audio form. So again, thanks for being with us today. Yesterday on the program we talked about the Save America act at some life. Save America act. And of course the Save America act is as a. If it passes, if it becomes law, there will be no delay. By the way, it's instantly law. And as soon as the President signs it, every state would be required to verify that Americans are the only ones who are registering to vote. You'd have to look at documentation to prove that they're actually American citizens. Common sense. And also would require photo ID to vote in all forms, including absentee ballots. In fact, absentee ballots would require two showings of your photo id, one when you request the ballot, one when you submit it in. So this, these are great. This would be a great law. These are great changes to our electoral system nationwide. And the left is in an all out panic about it. You want to know how Panicked they are. Well, they're getting going back to their old bag of tricks. Look at Chuck Schumer yesterday. He doesn't know what else to say. So he's just dusted off some half assed lie about the SAVE Act. Listen to this. Here's Chuck Schumer yesterday. Watch. What do you say to Mike Lee's argument that the Senate rules allow the majority to require the minority to stage a talk filibuster to stop the SAVE Act? We've got to get this done and we've got to get it done very quickly. The SAVE act is an abomination. It's Jim Crow 2.0. Across the country, we are, we are going to do everything we can to stop it. Oh, that's funny, man. That's so stupid. Remember when that might have worked? It's Jim Crow 2.0. Hold on a second. Hold on. What are you doing? What are Jim Crow laws? Jim Crow laws were racially prejudiced laws devised by Democrats to exclude them from society. And in the wake of the slaves being freed by the Republican Party, just to be clear exactly what Jim Crow laws are. And so this guy's talking about Jim Crow laws and now he wants to say, this is Jim Crow 2.0. It's just like when he doesn't say it out loud. It's just like when Democrats imposed Jim Crow laws in the first place. Okay, so how is that exactly? What do you mean by that? And the implication there is very heavy, which is that this law is racist towards black people. What? What are you even talking about? It'd be racist to verify that a black American is an American just like the rest of us. What? It would be racist to ask a black American to produce a photo id. Yesterday on my radio show, actually, I had an elderly black gentleman call into the program and he told me, he goes, vince, this is crazy. He goes, I'm black. Everybody I'm related to is black. And we all have photo id and we've been voting with photo id. There's like, it's actually racist to infantilize black people and say they're incapable of getting voter id. And that's exactly what's coming out of Chuck Schumer's mouth. And let me add one more element to this. It's even far more insidious than merely infantilizing black people. It's also attempting to stoke fear in black voters that there is some sort of racist threat to them looming in this legislation. So what he's trying to do is whip black voters into a frenzy to be opposed to this and turn this into some sort of racial strife. It's about as poisonous as it gets in American politics. And it's no wonder it's coming out of Chuck Schumer's mouth. As usual, it's not shocking, but it is appalling. And that's what Chuck Schumer is trying to pull off. So Chuck Schumer says that yesterday. Now, what do the data show? What do we know about photo ID used for voting in the United States? Now, by now, you and I have talked about this many times. We know that it's wildly popular and that cuts across all races, all religions, all parties, everybody supports photo id. In fact, this detail is so obvious that CNN was talking about it this week and this actually came out of a tweet, an X post by Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj, who's like, I can't even believe I'm saying these words, but you look at what Nicki Minaj is saying. Nicki Minaj posted the following. She goes, what sensible, forward thinking, cutting edge leading nation is having a debate on whether or not there should be voter id, like question mark, exclamation mark, question mark, exclamation point, question mark, just over and over. She can't even believe it. There's actually fighting not to have people present ID while voting for your leaders. Do you get it? Says Nicki Minaj. Do you get it? Now, what is Nikki saying? Nikki's saying that there are people who want our election systems to be vulnerable to fraud. And she said that too. What's the number? 26 million people. 26 million people. A lot of them Americans follow Nicki Minaj. And she's saying this.
C
Well, good.
B
Welcome to the party, pal. Good to have you, Nikki. As Nikki says the truth out loud. And so even CNN noticed what Nikki was up to and they got their numbers enthusiast Harry Enton on the, on the television to tell everybody. Well, we looked at the polling data and it turns out Americans do agree with Nikki. Cut three, take a look for voter ID to vote.
A
Look, I got all this polling on the screen going back since 2018. You'll notice on all of it, it's all north of 75%, 76%, 76%, 76%, 76%, 81% and then 83% in the last year of Americans agree with Nicki Minaj. They favor photo ID to be able to vote.
B
What about by party? What's the party?
A
Yeah, normally you might expect, hey, there'd be a big divide by party. With Republicans really for it and Democrats really against it. But not really here. I mean, just take a look here. Favor photo ID to vote. You got 95% of Republicans, pretty much all of them, but even 71% of Democrats favor photo ID to vote. So again, Nicki Minaj posting that on X. And what you see is, is that the American people, actually it's not really all that controversial. The American people are with Nicki Minaj, whether they are Republican or even if they are Democrats. We're talking about 7 in 10 Democrats agreeing with Nicki Minaj that you in fact should show a voter. Voter ID to vote.
B
A voter photo id? Yeah. Listen to Harry Enten. He knows what he's talking about. He's got an old timey horse racing announcer voice and he announces to you that everybody supports photo id. What a novel idea. Why is this some shock? And I love, you know, Chuck Schumer standing up there going, actually, this is Jim Crow 2.0. Where have I heard, where have I heard this half assed lie before? Let me think. Oh, yeah, that's right. When Georgia improved its voter integrity laws a couple years ago, remember, the 2020 election in Georgia was a colossal dumpster fire. The kind of dumpster fire that has solicited a modern day FBI investigation into the ballots in Fulton County, Georgia. The FBI just raided the place. They took all the ballots. Why they take the ballots? Because the election was jacked up. So much so that a judge said, yeah, you get a criminal warrant for this, you got probable cause, go in there, grab all of that stuff and bring it out. So then what ended up happening in the wake of that 2020 election? Well, Republicans in Georgia, they passed an election law that was designed to improve the quality and credibility of their elections. Did it work? Yes, it did. It made meaningful improvements to the election system in Georgia. Is Georgia where it needs to be? No. It can improve more. But the reality is it's better than it was. And in that improvement, remember the effort to try and improve it was, was protested by Democrat leaders to include Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer. All of them who were saying things like this is Jim Crow 2.0 was what they were saying. Joe Biden said this makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle. He doesn't even know what he's talking about or how to make comparisons. And yet there they were calling this some sort of racist imposition on black voters in Georgia. There's a lot of black voters in Georgia. They're going to be threatened. They're going to have their voting rights infringed upon. Wasn't true. It was a bunch of horse hockey. Because in the end, what happened, Black voter turnout went up after the integrity of the elections in Georgia was ensured. More black voters were enfranchised. You tell me, you tell me, how's that Jim Crow anything? I mean, these Democrats, all they do is lie for a living. Try telling the truth for once. I'm telling you, it's liberating. It's freeing. It's way better. So they lied then. They lied then. And Harry Anton, actually, the numbers guy, he enthusiastically dug into the numbers on the races. He looked by race, and he established that black voters wildly support photo ID. Take a look.
A
85% of white people favorite, 82% of Latino. 76% of black Americans favor it. So the bott bottom line is this. Voter ID is not controversial in this country. A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country. It is not controversial by party, and it is not controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree with Nicki Minaj that, in fact, you should have a photo ID to be able to vote.
B
You should have the photo id. That's sad news on cnn. CNN represents the tiny little minority of the country that thinks that photo ID is some racist imposition. It's also crazy and infantilizing and nonsensical, and yet that's where we are now. There are obviously Democrats who realize that the value of not producing an ID is that they can conduct elections fraudulently, they can allow people to cheat. That's how they win. That's what they need. So let's not mess with a good thing or actually, in this case, a bad thing. And President Trump knows this too. And so that's why President Trump is pushing so hard for the SAVE act to actually get passed. You know, it's funny I mentioned to you yesterday, on Monday, President Trump appeared on Dan Bongino's Excellent and Now Returned podcast. And during the show, the President said, we have to nationalize voting. And then he cited that we had something like, I think he said, like 14 or 15 states that. That have real problems now, that just happens to be about exactly the number of states that don't require photo id. So when President Trump is talking about this with our friend Dan, he's explicitly talking about the vulnerability of our elections when it comes to not producing identification. And this is bewildering to the media. They've been acting like this is some gigantic scandal all week that President Trump said on Dan's program that we have to nationalize voting. And in fact, somebody on cnn, a guy by the name of Peter Meyer, he noticed that what, what President Trump was alluding to, it seemed to be a mystery to the whole media, but to normal people, it wasn't a mystery at all. And he actually said out loud, he goes, I think he's talking about photo id. Watch this clip from cnn. This one. This one really stands out to me this morning.
D
So this is all trying to parse this nationalize elections language. And I actually have a theory, because the weird thing about those comments was the 15 states, because that number just seemed to come out of nowhere. I think Donald Trump was actually referring to, and buying into the disingenuous claims by Democrats about the SAVE act, because there are 14 states that right now have no voter ID or other documentation at the polls.
B
But you understand.
C
But you understand.
B
Yeah. Thanks to the Newsbusters for pulling that clip. So he's like, well, wait a second, I think he might be referring to the SAVE Act. Now, that is not welcome news on cnn. They're not, they don't want to talk about that. What they want to talk about is that Donald Trump is trying to steal the election. Well, he told Dan Bongino that he wants to nationalize voting, which means he wants to steal the 2026 election. He's a fascist. They say this is the same party that kicks their political opponents off the ballot. It's the same party that tries to arrest their political opponents, puts them in mugshots in an attempt to get voters to turn against them in the midst of an election. Same exact party, same exact party that will prosecute Donald Trump in every jurisdiction where Democrats control the whole ballgame. They'll go after him with Big Tish James or Fat Alvin Bragg or what's the other chick? Oh, Fat Fanny. Big Fat Fanny Willis. That's. That's what they'll do. Or Jack Smith, corrupt election, rigging President, Auto pen Dispatch, Jack Smith, all going after Donald Trump in the midst of an election year to rigging elections to spare us your lectures about trying to use the tools of power to try and rig elections. You specialize in this. Whether it's actually rigging the way people vote or rigging the fact that they don't show photo ID to verify who they are, or allowing illegal aliens to interfere, either directly or indirectly, directly by their human presence in our country. You're constantly rigging elections. You're rigging information. You're rigging our ability to see true information about Joe Biden in the weeks leading up to the election because you don't want us to know that his family is completely corrupt. So, yes, your whole thing is election rigging. And this is, once again I mentioned, Dan. It's called the dipsy doo fliparoo, isn't it? This is, this is projection where Democrats accuse Republicans of doing precisely what they're doing in order to absolve themselves of any sort of guilt or scrutiny. That's what's happening. So President Trump says, we need photo id, we need photo id, we need the SAVE act and we need it now. And the only people who wanna block voter id, those are cheaters. Here's President Trump in the Oval Office yesterday saying the truth out loud, which he's very good at. Cut to watch.
E
We should have voter id, by the way. We should have a lot of the things that I think everybody wants to see. Who would not want voter id? Only somebody that wants to cheat. Think of, we don't have voter id and the Democrats don't want it. And the reason they don't want is because they want to cheat, because there's no reason in the world. And I love that debate, Lindsey. I love saying, well, why don't you want voter id? And you watch them say, I don't know, I just make them vote. I know it's a terrible thing. So anyway, anybody else?
B
I love watching that debate. He says, I love putting Democrats in the uncomfortable position of actually having to give an answer for why they have these cruel views, these destructive views. Why are you against photo id? Why are you against ensuring that only American citizens vote in our elections? Why are you against enforcing immigration law? Why are you against having secure borders? Why are you against keeping criminals locked up? How about you just answer the question and do it in front of this microphone while this camera's on so the American people can see why you're such a disgusting scumbag. How about you do that? Let's do that together. And in fact, Republicans, as I mentioned to you yesterday, and now we've got updates on this story, they have a world class opportunity to do exactly what the President just suggested, which is force Democrats to account for their own sins, for their own cruelty, for their own corruption, for their own rigging. And how is that? By forcing them to filibuster the Save America Act. Now will we get one? Well, that story is interesting and worrisome right now. I've got the details on that and what John Thune is now saying amidst all of it. We'll, we'll focus on this really at the core question, as we move forward here, we gotta thank one of our great sponsors. The core question is, do you actually want to win the midterms? Do you, do you want to see your party grow its margins? Are you actually here for Trump's agenda that is the agenda of the American people, or are you against us? Because this is the moment where you're going to demonstrate the answer to that question. More ahead on this edition of events. We have great, great sponsors on this program, the kinds of companies that you should absolutely support because they support us and they've got great products, and that includes Brickhouse Nutrition. Brickhouse Nutrition. Dynamite. Absolutely dynamite. They're improving so many people's health across the country every single day. C
All right.
B
So the, the pressure is on. And you and I are a part of a very important movement. We have been and we continue to be. And that's the movement to make America great again, to save this country. And if, if, if you or I were a United States senator today, priority one in terms of legislation, in terms of obligations, you have would be we need to ensure that the American voter is protected. That's priority one. Everything else is subsidiary to making sure that the American voice is respected. That's it. And so how do we restore the voice of the American voter? Well, we make our elections credible. It's very straightforward. That's what the Save America act is. And that's why we've been pushing so hard for it. Now how do we get it done? As I told you yesterday, the 60 vote threshold that everybody talks about in the United States Senate is not actually the impediment to us getting this legislation passed. In fact, if Republicans can merely get a simple majority to the floor of the Senate, they can begin debate on passing the Save America Act. Democrats can slow it down with a speaking filibuster. In other words, they have to mount an argument against it. They have to demonstrate to the American people either why they hate the legislation, we hate that people have to show photo id, explain yourself so Americans can see how crazy you are on camera, or they'll talk about something else. They'll read Dr. Seuss books, they'll read whatever the recipes that they stole from somebody else's mom. The idea is they're just going to waste the American people's time and they're going to be seen as the ridiculous weirdos that that party is actually populated by. Good. So what we can achieve is kind of an amazing multiple hit whammy here. We can demonstrate the radicalism of the Democrats to the American people on camera nationwide and we can actually secure legislation that secures our votes in our country and improves the quality of our elections. How much better would things get if the Save America act passes? How many more Republican seats in the House would we have? How many more Republican senators would we have? It has the chance. Given the number of states right now that don't even require photo ID and aren't doing anything to check American citizenship, it has the chance of dramatically improving America's electoral composition and making sure that the American people's will is accurately reflected. That's an amazing thing. So of course you should be fighting like hell for it. So why is John Thunes wobbly ass stepping up to a microphone yesterday and saying I'm not sure if we're going to be able to get the conference to do it. And in fact, we do have other priorities and we'd hate to get in the way of those. Here's John Thune yesterday given sort of a shrug to the Save America Act. Cut one. Watch. Do you have any expectation that you can succeed with that given the enormous difficulty of doing that? In fact, the big majority have not been Able to, right?
F
Well, you know, I guess. And I would just remind people that the coin in the realm in the Senate is floor time. There's a finite amount of it. And we have a lot of things we have to do. There's a housing bill that's awaiting action, hopefully a market structure bill, possibly permitting reform, farm bill, highway bill. You can go right down the list. Russia, sanctions. There are a whole bunch of things that could be teed up for action on the floor of the Senate. And so you have to make some judgments. And the conference will have a conversation about that. I've committed to that, that we will talk about that idea and determine whether or not they're. What the conference's views are about it and how they want to proceed. As I said, we will vote on the SAVE Act. But exercising or triggering a talking filibuster has ramifications, implications that I think everybody needs to be aware of.
B
What did we just hear? Well, you can tell by now you're probably so used to hearing this kind of Washington ease, you realize that this is an attempt to try and settle you down without actually delivering for you. I can. You can smell it a million miles away. You hear something like that and you're like, well, wait a second. This guy is trying to talk me out of my priority, which is the SAVE Act. And that should be the priority of every single member of Congress. I love how he's like, we've got all these other priorities we have to get to. We've got bigger priorities like Russia sanctions. Russia sanctions. We need another package of Russia sanctions right now. I'm pretty sure the most important thing is actually making sure the will of the American voter is protected. And we are, you know, months out now from the election. But that election gets closer and closer with each passing day. Every single person who's going to attempt to register to vote, they better prove that they're an American citizen. And the only way we can mandate that by law is if we get the SAVE act passed. So what the hell are you waiting for? Start the process. Oh, but Vince, Democrats are going to slow it down. No shit. That's what we know is going to happen. They've got to do it by talking. Let them talk. And then use that against them. Whose side are you on anyway? And you heard. I don't know if we played in the clip, but Thune in the audio yesterday, in his conversation with the media, he raised the specter of Democrats having the chance to introduce unlimited amendments to the bill. He goes, you know, one of the problems with this, with this process is, and people don't realize this, they could deliver unlimited amendments to this. Now, our friend Rachel Bovard, by the way, I highly recommend you follow this woman. Go to X and follow Rachel Bovard if you want to actually know how the Senate operates. I can't tell you how many people in Washington have no idea how it operates. Rachel knows, and she keeps telling everybody. You're getting this wrong, you dumb dumbs. This is a current part of the rules. There's no rule change necessary for Republicans to do this. You don't even have. You don't have to go nuclear. You don't have to blow up the silent filibuster as much as, by the way, it deserves to be blown up. Nothing changes. You can do this right now. Rachel Bovard says this, this idea that unlimited amendments are going to be used to jack up the SAVE Act. She said Senate Republican leadership can find half a dozen ways to block conservatives from offering amendments on any given bill, but somehow they can't develop a strategy to limit Democrat amendments on the SAVE Act. She said, fill the freaking amendment tree, and if they offer amendments, table them. Now, this, of course, is all Senate talk, but what Rachel's telling you is. Wait a second. No, no, no. The unlimited amendment threat is not an issue. If Republicans play this right, they can blockade Democrats from messing with the SAVE act at all, and we can get a very clean and very useful piece of legislation passed. That's the message. Thank you, Rachel. Rachel, Rachel. Staying in the fight. And she's been all over this for a long time. She was the one who explained to me back in November. She's like, vince, everyone gets this wrong. You know, 51 Republicans, all they have to do is show up to the floor and we can get legislation passed. I was like, wait, hold up. For as long as I've been around any of this, everyone tells me 60 votes. Are you saying 51 can do it now without the nuclear option? Yeah, 51. They just have to have the stomach to actually put in the fight. They actually have to show up to work. They got to go to the floor of the Senate and knock this out. It's a big deal. You know, and my buddy Sean Davis over at the Federalist, he says the stakes on this are very high. The stakes on this are sky high right now because Republicans really, they have a choice. They have a choice here about what they want and what kind of future they want for our country and for their party. And here's what Sean says. Senate Republicans refuse to force standing filibusters right now they do anyway. Which would lead to bills passing with only 51 votes because it would condition their own voters to actually getting the laws that they were promised enacted into law. Can't have that now, can we? Second, such a process would expose the 10 to 15 most worthless Republicans who would vote against these bills, showing that even with a majority, Republicans somehow never have a majority. As a result, they use the 60 vote threshold as a handy excuse for their own refusal to never do anything they promise. They always have the time and the votes to shovel your money to Ukraine or to carve out new tax loopholes for their corporate lobbyist friends. What they have no time or patience for is doing anything their actual constituents demand. And that right there is why Republicans are going to get destroyed in November if they don't start doing what they promised. He's right. You want to get destroyed in November? Fail us. Fail us. Don't deliver. Now, I hate that we're in this situation. I'm not trying to hurt the Republican Party here. You're not trying to hurt that. You're trying to improve it. You actually want people worth voting for who represent you well, who you can enthusiastically support in all of their subsequent elections. This is all we want. We're actually giving you right now. We're giving you the playbook to how you get to stay in Congress. It's really simple. We send you there now, you deliver for us, and then we will enthusiastically contribute to your campaign. We'll, we'll even campaign for you. We'll doorknock for you. We'll make sure, we'll make phone calls, we'll do text messages, we'll do whatever it takes. And then we'll go to the polls and we'll enthusiastically vote for you. And then we'll bring, not just 10, we'll bring 20, 30, 40, 50 people with us and we'll tell them, look how good America is because of what this guy has done for us. This is all we're asking of you. We're just asking you to respect the voters who sent you there in the first place. And so that's why I'm once again asking everyone in this, in this, in this audience, call your senator. And I don't care if they're currently supporting the SAVE Act. Some of them are. You know, you got, you have great guys out there who are currently supporting the SAVE Act. You know, Mike Lee and Rick Scott, these guys are, are pushing for the SAVE act and they're pushing for a floor Vote just like we're talking about right now. I love that. But call them anyway and give them an attaboy and say, hey, love what you're doing. Convince your colleagues to join you. You have our enthusiastic support for that. And for those senators who are refusing right now, who are getting in the way, wobbling, not saying anything, sitting in silence, hoping this whole thing blows over, blow up their phones, call them, email them, go to your state's senator today and tell them this has to happen. The future of the country depends on it. Get to the floor and pass this legislation and stay there until it's done. Now is the time. And I realized that you see a video of John Thune kind of wobbling on all of this. That's at the moment, better than. Than a flat no. I'll take wobbling better more than a no, which means he still has the opportunity to be shoved in the right direction. So keep on shoving, would you? Because again, this is super important to the country. Super important to the country. And then lastly, Love North Carolina brings this up. They write, no, I will still vote Republican, but we have absolutely no chance with Democrats getting back in control. Please don't let the Democrats win, even if you can't stand your representative or senator. That's a totally fair point. That's a fair point. You're totally right about that, which is that utter peril lies ahead if Democrats seize control of either the House, the Senate, or both. Utter peril lies ahead. And so I'm not changing my resolve about fighting to make sure Republicans not only keep their majorities, but grow them in both the House and the Senate. All I'm asking is that they put in as much work as we are. That's it. Help us make a stronger case to the American people. Because while people in this audience may recognize that equation, whoa, whoa, whoa. We can't let Democrats take control. You're right about that. Just understand from 30,000ft, from a political science perspective, if you have an entire population out there who are not quite as well connected as you are on all of these issues, there's gonna be lots of people who do get sort of dissuaded by virtue of the fact that they're not getting the victories from those members of Congress that they should be getting and that their election system is that vulnerable to rigging and fraud. It's a very big deal. And also lastly, on this issue of fraud, if you let fraud rule the day, in the end, it won't matter because Democrats will steal elections wantonly. Just Going forward into eternity. So that's why it's so important to fix things now while Republicans actually have the power to fix it. Do it now. Do it now. Level 10 decision. Shit or shittier decision. That's right, Stephen. South Carolina's got that right. The president of the United States usually stuck with those level 10 decisions. Right now, the American people have to handle this level 10 decision. It's fallen to us. And so call your senator. Let's get this done. All right. A lot more ahead on the program. A lot more Democrats are going absolutely insane. I've got more evidence of that. And Congressman Pat Fallon will join us in just moments. We'll, we'll chat with him. Hey, let me tell you about a great website I like to follow just to get market sentiment on what the hell's going on in the world. Have you heard of cow? She's pretty cool. In fact, I've got Kalsha pulled up today. Let me look at the Cauchy data here. Will, what will Donald Trump say during the State of the Union? Will he say the word hoax? Will he refer to Somalis, Somalia or Somalian, or will he refer to Sleepy Joe? Honestly, I'm going to be honest. I think Somali has a very high likeliness of making an appearance. At least 52% of the Kalshee market feels that way too. Kind of fascinating, you know, Kalsh is one of the only places where you can trade on real world events in all 50 states. It's not just politics or economics. They've got markets on everything from inflation, numbers, sports, pop culture. I use Cowshi to track odds and see what people are betting on. Today I'm happy to have joining us right now, one of my favorites, US Congressman from Texas, Pat Fallon is here on the program. Congressman Fallon, it's been good to have you on the show, sir.
C
Wonderful. How are you doing?
B
I'm doing very, very well. Thank you for being here. I'm pushing very hard for this Save America act to get passed. I know this is something you care about, too. Simple thing. Just make sure that only Americans are registered to vote and that they produce photo ID when they do it. It's broadly supported in every single poll by every category of American. Why is it so hard to get it through the Senate right now? Why is it so difficult?
C
Well, I think that the Democrats, particularly the elite Democrats, know that they get somewhere between 2 and 5% votes, 2 or 5% additional votes from cheating. I mean, in some of these states, you just need to bring your utility bill. In other states, you don't even come in to vote at all. It's, it's vote by mail only.
B
Yeah.
C
And the reason why that's important, I think you should be voting in person with a photo id. It's like this. I can prove it to you, Vince. If you won the lottery and you won $100 million, there's two ways to redeem it. You can mail it in that winning ticket or you can walk it in. How many people have ever mailed it in? Of course you're going to walk it in because it's more secure.
A
Yes.
B
Yeah. So smart. Yeah, Obviously. Yeah. Collect my lottery winnings. I'm going in, baby. That, that means a lot to me. Yeah, no, it's, it's, it's crazy what's going on. So one of the things traditionally In Washington, I've noticed that House members don't talk about Senate procedure and the Senate doesn't talk about the House. And they're like, well, that's the other House. But actually that's beginning to disappear because I've seen a lot of House Republicans who are just sick of this crap, who are like, we keep sending great legislation over to the Senate and then it just dies. And it doesn't have to. In fact, one of the things that American, the American people are waking up to is that the Senate does have the ability to pass legislation if they actually want to. It just requires senators to show up to the floor of the Senate. No rule changes, no nuclear option, no getting rid of the silent filibuster. They just have to show up and do it. And that triggers a speaking filibuster. I mean, what's your message to Republican senators right now in this moment? What would you say to them?
C
Congressman, I would echo the sentiments that you just shared with your listeners and viewers, which is this. The time is now. There is no tomorrow. To quote Apollo Creed from Rocky iii, we have to do it now because we are sure of one thing. We're going to hold the House and the Senate and the White House for this calendar year. Now, I hope it's beyond that, but that's going to be up to us, defying gravity somewhat in November in a midterm election where our part and nothing is more important than your right to vote. That's why I use that lottery example, because, yeah, of course you would go in and redeem it yourself in person because it's more secure. But nothing's more sacrosanct than our voting in our republic. So we need to make sure if we lose a tight race, we can accept the results, provided we know it was legitimate. And you saw some major shenanigans going on in 2020 in several different states. So we didn't trust the results, or many of us were highly suspect. And Joe Biden got more votes than any president in history. You don't think a statistician would wrinkle their brow a bit on that? So that's why it's so important to do it and do it today.
B
Yeah.
C
Do it this year.
B
Amen. So I'm sorry, I thought for a while the left was telling us that voting rights are civil rights, which is a point that I actually fundamentally agree with your ability to vote. And that franchise being safeguarded is a civil right. So shouldn't we be talking about it that way, that. That this is A, this is an important moment to protect American civil rights.
E
Yeah.
C
And then they don't want to protect it. They want to make, we want to make it harder to cheat and easier to vote. Republicans are absolutely fine with that. That's why register to vote, prove you're an American citizen. But a lot of people don't realize that it's the honor system. You literally check a box if you use a federal form because that's not subject to state law. If you use a federal form and check a box and say, I promise Uncle Sam that I'm a citizen, you get a voting card, you get to vote. And nobody, particularly the blue states, is checking on that. So if you're not inanely, if you're not insanely stupid, it's very difficult, if not impossible to get caught if you're committing voter fraud. And don't get me started with the vote. Even in Texas, vote by mail. I saw, when I was in the Texas legislature, I was on the elections committee, I saw 250 mail in ballots signed by the same person. You have to also preserve evidence. There are lots of different things states can do, but there's certainly something we can do at the federal, federal level, which was require voter id.
B
Yes.
C
During federal elections.
B
By the way, I just want to be crystal clear about this because it seems like this keeps getting lost because the media refused to tell you the truth about it. That the elections clause in the Constitution says that the states administer the elections. But Congress may also offer additional features to the election including the safeguarding of voter ID and the safeguarding of making sure only Americans are registered to vote. The Constitution includes a role for both the states and Congress, Congressman. So I mean there's a lot of lies about this right now.
C
The Democrat argument from their elites saying that it's racist is the soft bigotry of low expectations. To sit there and try and argue on their side that it's more difficult for African Americans or Hispanics to vote is just that. That's absurd. And that's why when you do the see the polling, it's almost identical across the board in that range, give or take a couple of percentage points of 80% of whites, Hispanics and blacks all have absolutely no problem with voter ID. The other 20% have been brain bought, brainwashed by the wokies.
B
Right. Okay. So I don't know if you have any relationship with Jonathan, but I have to ask you about what he said yesterday because I played a clip from him earlier this year this in the program where he seemed to be wobbling on whether or not they could get support in the conference to actually take the SAVE act to the floor and for. And trigger a speaking filibuster. And he said, we got all these other priorities we need to get to, like passing Russia sanctions. And I'm listening to this going, Congressman, you've heard this too, through the years. It's just Washington speak. These are excuses for why you're not delivering. And you're trying to basically get me to settle down and not focus on it. You're pretending you're on my side, but you're dancing away from it. What do you think of this move? I mean, for the leader to come out in the Senate and say, like, hey, we've got priorities like Russia sanctions, and we'd hate for the SAVE act to get in the way.
C
I'll be very frank with you. I hate it. And I like what Senator Thune has done, Leader Thune's done. But I don't like this at all. And you got two choices. You can have results or you can have excuses, but you don't get both. And I want results. We have to have results here. There's absolutely nothing that should be more important than the SAVE Act, Period. Full stop. End of story.
B
So this is the number one priority. Why is the SAVE act the single most important thing Congress can do right now?
C
Because it ensures a vibrant republic. You have to believe in certain things. You have to believe that elections are held openly, honestly, transparently, and fairly. Because if you don't, we lose the republic. We can become a banana republic in very short order. That's why in many of these very blue states, they get rid of in person voting, which is absolutely nuts, because it's easier to manipulate the results when you do it by mail only. The best and most secure way is for you to go in in person with a voter id. And I would like. This is Vince. Let's talk turkey. I'd like to see election days be a national holiday, and you only have one day to vote, and that's on election day. I'd also like that day to be April 16, the day after you pay your taxes. You might be a little more acutely aware of what the federal government is taking from you. Now, having said that, that's bigger. That's a bigger bowler up a hill. But we should be able to have elections done in one day. And by the way, know the results that night. You can let everybody that wants to vote by mail know you got a couple of months to get that Ballot in. But once 7pm or 8pm rolls around, that's it. We're going to start counting, and then we're going to let you know the result within hours.
B
Yeah. The longer the delay. The longer the delay, the greater the deception. If you were to ask your children to account for their behavior and they took four days to tell you, you'd be like, you're lying to me. This is like, so. So of course people see that and they think this is a lie. It's not. It's not real. That's right. Hey, let me ask you as a member of Congress, because you get all sorts of incoming people have all sorts of things they want you to work on and do. What's the most effective way for us as Americans to, to let our senators know that we desperately want them to do this? Is there, I mean, are there things. Do senators, in other words, in your view, do they respond to pressure from the public and how do we apply it?
C
Definitely contact your senator. Don't. If you're from Oregon and you're contacting somebody from, you know, Missouri, they just discount that it has to be. Contact your senators. And the best way would be to go in if you have the time to go into their district office or if you're near Washington, go into. Or if you're visiting Washington. Absolutely. Go into their office and make sure their staff knows. Politely but passionately, let them know. And if you can't do that, then a call is the next best thing. And if you can't do that, then email.
B
Okay, all right. But in other words, that, that means something. So if, if a lawmaker gets a lot of these visits, I mean, they're definitely aware of it. They can hear the noise, they can see the volume of the response 100%.
C
I mean, certainly when you see you have Cassidy in Louisiana who voted to impeach Trump, and then my good friend Julia Letlow throws her hat in the ring and she's running against them, and she's probably, it's early now, but I think she's going to beat him. So they thought they had no consequence for the votes and actions that they take. And suddenly, if they see that they do and they see that Julia wins. Wow, that could be me next time if I don't make sure my actions in Washington match the rhetoric that I have on campaigns.
B
And finally, what are the incentives here for any Republican to wobble on the SAVE Act? Why would they do that to begin with? Because it seems to me, if I'm trying to assess motivations There must be something behind the scenes that I'm not detecting. Maybe like political donors who are trying to ward them off of being a part of getting the SAVE act passed. Or you have Republican senators who are content being in the minority. They'd rather be there because they just want to be known as senators and they don't want to actually have to do anything. The job. What, what is that?
C
It boggles my mind considering that let's say President Trump didn't win in 2016. The Supreme Court would be run by progressive woke liberals. They didn't care and never did care about the Constitution. You can see it in the minority dissent of the three justices that are on this court now reported by Democrats. We had lost the country. There would be absolutely no fair, honest and open elections because they would let the woke left run amok and run wild. So I don't know why they wouldn't take this as a number one top priority. But we must exert pressure again, politely but passionately. Yeah, that, that. This needs to go to the top of the bin.
B
Well, Congressman Pat Fallon from Texas, sir, I always appreciate our conversations because you're one of the single most plain spoken members of Congress that I get a chance to talk to and I'm grateful for all of our conversations. Thank you, sir.
C
No, Vince, you're a great American. Thank you. At any time. Look forward to coming back.
B
Thank you very much. Good to have you on the program today. There he is, Congressman Pat Fallon. Yeah, you can call Jon Thune, ladies and gentlemen. I mean, he is the Republican leader. But fundamentally, as you just heard the congressman say, calling your own state senator really is the move. We've heard this for years. It's like these guys, these offices, these constituent relations guys, they're tracking people who are actually voters in their districts or in their states. That's the thing that really has the most pressure. So definitely call your own people. There he is. Congressman Fallon. Okay. Amazing. Just amazing. Good to have him with us. So that, that was a refreshing dose of sanity. Are you ready for some insanity? Tried Jerry Nadler yesterday. The penguin himself here he is a. He's a. I think he's a perfect circle. Jerry Nadler yesterday saying that ICE agents deserve to be shot. He really said that. Cut five. Watch Congressman Nadler.
G
The tax cuts on millionaires and billionaires enacted over the last 10 years. But what is really the major problem in this country today is the fascism in our streets. The attacks on American citizens by masked hoodlums. If you were attacked by a masked person you might think you were being kidnapped. You'd be justified in shooting the police person to protect yourself. But we see people being shot. For what? For driving a car. We see people, we see these, the ICE goons break into people's homes without a warrant. We see them drag out a man, an American citizen, in his underwear, without even permitting him in the snow, without even permitting him in to get dressed. This is the major problem we have today, along with the attack in our elections we saw last week.
B
So Nadler says the attacks on American citizens by masked hoodlums. If you were attacked by a masked person, you might think you were being kidnapped. You'd be justified in shooting the person to protect yourself. Nadler says, what a psychopath. And so if you're wondering to yourself, what is it that's leading these low IQ lefties to take actual shots at members of immigration enforcement? Assassination attempts, assaults, just aggressive attacks nonstop on the men and women of law enforcement, look no further than fat, circular. Was it spherical? Spherical. Jerry Nadler, who is straight up telling people, yeah, you'd be justified in shooting ICE agents. That's psychobabble. That's insane. And that guy's a member of Congress somehow. In fact, the Vice President of the United States responded to this and he said, this guy is crazy. It's despicable what we just heard from Jerry Nadler. In fact, he's not just any congressman. He's one of the highest ranking Democrats in the House. Jerry Nadler, one of the highest ranking Democrats in the entire House of Representatives, is openly calling for people to shoot federal law enforcement. This is despicable behavior from an elected official. And I'm sure the left wing media will cover it extensively. And if JD Vance means cover it well, that they are covering it. They're covering it up. That's what they're covering. They're. They're not talking about it to the extent that they are. They're attacking JD Vance as being somehow, oh, dishonest in this assessment. He's not saying that people should kill ice ages. He's just saying that under other circumstances, if people were wearing masks, that you'd be justified in shooting them. In fact, Jerry Nadler himself is trying to make excuses. He tweeted out some excuse to that effect, but his words are crystal clear here. How else to read this other than yes, it's okay to shoot ICE agents? And even if you were to be the most generous interpreter in the world to Nadler's poison, even if you were, in what world would it be appropriate to put those words in that order when you've got your left wing base constantly trying to assassinate and assault ICE agents, you lunatic. So there's Jerry Nadler, long overdue to get the hell out of the United States House of Representatives to begin with, running his fat suck about how it's okay to shoot ICE agents. And now he's trying to make excuses like that's not what he meant in the first place. Yeah, sorry. No, you did. That's exactly what you said. Additionally, we got more craziness from Congressman Ted Lieu who I think he can barely speak English, this guy. Here's Ted Lieu yesterday trying to advance Nancy Pelosi's wrap up smear against Donald Trump yet again. Remember, the Epstein files have come out thanks to the Trump administration, thanks to Donald Trump or released all of them. And in those Epstein files a lot of lefties are implicated. President Trump not. In fact, as I went over Monday when we went through the documents to the extent that Trump's name is mentioned in any sort of salacious claims. All of those claims were instantly disproven by the Biden era FBI officials who were investigating the influx of lying phone calls that lefties were placing to try and add some sort of scandal to Donald Trump. But it didn't stop Ted Lou from jumping all over the smear that his low IQ base was trying to start. Here's Ted Lieu yesterday attempting that watch.
D
So why are Republicans so interested in Bill Hillary Clinton? It's because they're trying to distract from the fact that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files thousands and thousands of times. In those files there's highly disturbing allegations of Donald Trump raping children Donnard of Donald Trump threatening to kill children. So I encourage the press to go look at these allegations and I'm highly disturbed that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
B
So there's Congressman Ted Roux and he says straight up that Donald Trump is alleged to have raped and did he say kill children? I love that. They just make shit up. They just stand in front of a micro, just make shit up. You know, no reckless abandon. Donald Trump should sue that guy into the ground. He should be, he should slap Ted Roux with a raw suit immediately and take that guy down. He's done it to everybody else. Do it to Ted Roux as well. And, and this is, as I said, the wrap up smear. This is what Nancy Pelosi called the wrap up smear a couple of years ago. Take a look. Here's, here's former Speaker Dentures herself, Nancy.
H
Pelosi putting down hospitals and the rest of it. So they don't want them to see that contrast, so they focus on something else. And it's a diversionary tactic. It's a self fulfilling crap. You demonize and then you. We call it the wrap up smear. If you want to talk politics, call it the wrap up smear. You smear somebody with falsehoods and all the rest and then you merchandise it and then you write it. And they'll say, see, it's reported in the press that this, this, this and this. So they have that validation that the press reported the smear and then it's called the rep up smear. Now I'm going to merchandise the press's report on the smear that we made. It's. It's a tactic and it's, it's self evident, but it's a tactic.
B
You know, people do it. You just smear someone and then get the media to repeat the smear and then, and then you merchandise it. She says merchandise it, which means generate a profit off of the lie. People do it. She says what she means by that is Democrats do it all the time. Oh, holy cow. Also on the, on the Ted Roux allegations, my buddy Greg Price said that he recognized the lie that Ted Roux was telling and he said Ted Roux is a disgusting liar. Of course, but he's not only a disgusting liar, he's an idiot. He's too stupid to realize what he's saying. He's too stupid to realize he's repeating something that isn't even from the Epstein files. It's from a lawsuit filed by a woman called Katie Johnson, a civil suit from 2016 that was thrown out of court. As Greg says, so much of leftist discourse is actually just repeating things that aren't even true over and over again until enough people believe them that the truth doesn't even matter anymore. Yeah, that's one way to put it. Just repeat it over and over and over until the truth doesn't matter anymore. That's kind of the way the left operates. And there they are. Man, we had a lot of crazy Democrats today. We had Chuck Schumer. We had Jerry Nadler. What kind of name is Nadler? He looks like a Ned. Big. Just a big walking Ned. And then Ted Roux. And I actually think I had more. I just don't have time to get to them. I can try to. Today on the big national radio show, the Vince Show.com we have our radio affiliates across the country. Episode Title: The GOP Continues To Disappoint
Host: Vince Coglianese
Date: February 4, 2026
Notable Guest: Rep. Pat Fallon (TX)
In this episode, Vince Coglianese delivers a passionate critique of the GOP’s hesitancy on key election integrity legislation, specifically the SAVE Act, and the broader issue of voter ID requirements in the United States. He dissects the politics around the bill, the Democrat opposition framing, and the reluctance of establishment Republicans to fight for its passage. Congressman Pat Fallon joins to discuss the House perspective, why the SAVE Act is so critical, and strategies for grassroots action.
Overview:
Vince explains the SAVE Act’s purpose: requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and mandating photo ID for all voting, including absentee ballots.
Democrat Opposition:
Vince highlights that Democrats are labeling the act as "Jim Crow 2.0." He calls this a baseless, inflammatory accusation meant to stoke racial fears and distract from broad bipartisan support for voter ID laws.
Polling Data and Public Sentiment:
Vince refers to polling (reported even on CNN) showing overwhelming support for photo ID across all parties and racial groups.
Cultural Influences:
Vince notes Nicki Minaj’s viral post questioning why America is still debating voter ID, and how it resonated with people across the spectrum.
Vince on Democrat Strategy:
Trump on Voter ID:
Vince spotlights GOP Senate Whip John Thune’s reluctance to pursue a full floor debate on the SAVE Act, citing “other priorities” and time constraints:
Vince’s Response:
He calls this typical “Washington-ese” meant to placate voters while avoiding difficult fights. He cites Senate rules expert Rachel Bovard, who says the GOP could force a talking filibuster and block amendments if they wanted to.
Segment begins: [36:32]
On Cheating and Voting Security:
Why In-Person Voting with Photo ID Matters:
On Senate Procedure and Calls for Action:
Advice to Listeners:
Vince’s style is combative, sarcastic, and unsparing—especially toward Democrats and establishment Republicans. The episode mixes news, analysis, and activism, urging listeners to apply direct and vocal pressure to their own GOP senators.
Bottom Line:
If you’re seeking strongly opinionated, activist-oriented conservative commentary on election integrity, with detailed discussion of legislative dynamics and direct calls for audience participation, this episode is a comprehensive roadmap.
