What a finish. Sensational combination. Look at the delight on his face. There's no doubt about it. It just tastes better. Match days deserve Pepsi. Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a pack of Pepsi. Zero sugar. For today's match. It's poetry in motion.

Yes, indeed. Got the interview threads on today. We're going to be talking to Tristan Levitt coming up, who represents all of these whistleblowers who've had some very, very important stories to share. And Tristan helps them do it. He'll talk to us this morning. If you are not attuned to this story, just to give you a really quick summary of it. So again, you can tell some friends. Let people know, especially if you're watching the live broadcast this morning, live always at 8am rumble.com Vince, get the word out because coming up this hour, really near the bottom of the hour, we're going to be talking to Tristan Levitt about what I'm referring to as Operation Fentanyl and Furious. Operation Fentanyl and Furious. Now, that is not, as far as I'm aware, the actual official government name. But this reminds me so much of Operation Fast and Furious. For those of you old enough to remember, back during the Obama era, Obama allowed a bunch of guns to be, quote, walked into Mexico. In other words, the Obama administration was aware that all these weapons were being sold to the cartels and they let it happen. Anyway, the theory was, well, we can track them if they, if they go that way, we can track them. And then, of course, they lost track of them. And then one of those guns ended up being brought back into the United States of America and used to kill a Border Patrol agent by the name of Brian Terry. You guys remember all of this? Yeah, Operation Fast and Furious. It led to Eric Holder, the attorney General of the United States, being held in contempt of Congress. And yet, of course, no consequences for him criminally because he was the attorney general and he was insulated from criminal consequences because he was literally above the the law. He was above the law. The left tells us all the time. Nobody's above the law. Yeah, Democrats are. Democrats are constantly above the law, especially when they control the levers of power. That was Operation Fast and Furious. So now we have Operation Fentanyl and Furious. The Biden administration was, according to an Associated Press report and our guest coming up, Tristan Levitt, the Biden administration was aware that. What's the number? Hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills were pouring into the United States of America. They knew where where the drugs were down to the shipment. They knew exactly which shipments had the drugs. They let them come in. Why they claimed they wanted to use it for law enforcement purposes to keep tracking the flow of fentanyl. What? You know that hundreds of thousands of pills, that means that Americans were being poisoned and killed by this. Yeah. We've got a very big scandal right now developing. We'll get to the bottom of some more of it. Coming up with Tristin Levitt. That's the bottom of the hour. Do alert your friends about what we're up to because I think we're at the beginning of a massive, massive story and you're going to want to be here for it. Okay. We'll get to more of that coming up. But first, what a difference a brain makes, huh? I told you what a difference a vice president makes. We were talking at some length about this yesterday, but just what a breadth of fresh air JD Vance has been as vice president of the United States. Compare and contrast JD Vance to Kamala freaking Harris who barely knows how to get to the end of a sentence. Meanwhile, JD Vance is trying to get to the end of a war with Iran that is stretched on in fits and starts for 47 years. What a difference a vice president makes. And yesterday, the president of the United States got into some of the details on this. He said, what a difference. He truly said this. What a difference a brain makes. Watch President Trump from the Oval Office. What's the latest you've heard from the vice president? Are you happy with his negotiations? And can you share a little bit about what Secretary Rubio will be doing in the Middle east this week?
D
I think that they're doing a fantastic job. Our secretary is fantastic. I think he's maybe going to go down as the best ever. And I thought J.D. vance this morning was fantastic. I watched his news conference and from Switzerland. He's a very smart guy, did a great job. You know, when I look at the Democrats, I call them the Democrats. They're dumb, the Democrats. When I watched that, where one of them thought it was World War 11. She said World War II. She read World War II. You know about that, right? This is one of their potential leaders, Ilhan Omar, who married her brother to get into the country, by the way, illegally. But when I watch AOC have no idea. What a simple question. What happened when she was over in Switzerland, which probably never went there before, but she was. And then I watched somebody like JD or Marco. What a. I said, what a difference. What a difference. What a difference a brain makes.
B
Hey, Josh, I think we might need that clip on standby, brother. What a difference a brain makes. What a difference, man. That's. That's funny. Whenever I think of the left, I think back to. Remember Young Frankenstein. Remember the movie Young Frankenstein? Abby Normal is the name. Is the brain that Igor pulls. It's. He goes, abby, Abby something. Abby, Abby, Normal. It's too. That's a deep cut. This, for those of you who are aware of what I'm talking about. What a difference a brain makes. Yeah. No, it's. It's good to have J.D. vance in there and the President pay attention to the top of that clip, too. The president, despite efforts to try and sow division within the Trump administration, going, I got a great team on this. I got Marco Rubio, I got J.D. vance. I've got these great negotiators who are doing a wonderful job, and I'm all in on what they're up to. It's been pretty funny, though, to watch. Amusing for those of us who know what we're looking at. It's been amusing to watch people be like, I can't believe J.D. vance is doing this deal. What is this J.D. vance deal? I was like, I think you're talking about Trump. Yeah, he's had. He's got J.D. vance leading the negotiating team. But you're blaming Vance. Here is. That's your. That's your move. Why don't you just say you don't like what Trump is doing? Why do you have to make this about J.D.
E
vance? What is that about?
B
It's like you can see through it, can't you? Yeah, we can all see through it. And. And maybe take a break from crapping on everything the President's trying to accomplish here. Let the man work. Let the man work. You know, I've. There's this great expression. Did Dan come up with this? Our friend Dan Bongino. The doomers. This expression. The doomers. People are always constantly shitting on everything. Excuse me. Crapping on. Try not to curse as much. Crapping on everything. President Trump is doing, who are supposedly on his side, but are crapping on everything he's trying to do. It's a doomsday mentality, just like, calm down, calm down. Let the man work. There's a reason that you and I keep voting for him. And he's got. He's got this underway. So the President this morning has actually added some more information on this subject, and this is what he posts to Truth Social. I just. Just saw this as we were starting the show this morning. Despite their protestations and false statements to the contrary, coupled with the drumbeat of the fake news, which is doing everything possible to make the US Victory as small and as insignificant as possible, Iran has fully and completely agreed to the highest level nuclear inspections long into the future. Infinity, he says.
A
Infinity.
B
With three exclamation points. That's a pretty good deal. Infinity. This will ensure nuclear honesty, he writes. If they did not agree to this, there would be no further negotiations. Based on this and other major concessions being made by Iran, I've agreed to allow the Hormuz Strait to remain open with no further naval blockade. However, all ships remain in place should it be necessary to reinstitute the blockade, which seems, at this point, highly unlikely. The money and or sanctions that the US treasury is releasing goes into escrow, controlled by the United States, and will be used for the purchase of food and medical supplies exclusively from the United States, including corn, wheat, soybeans from our great American farmers. These are things that are desperately needed by Iran. This is a humanitarian crisis, and I feel it is necessary to help now before it's too late. Talks are going well. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. So the President's saying, keep cool, my babies. Just calm. We've got this stuff going out the door. This is American farm product. We're using that Iranian money to purchase it, and then we're giving it to the Iranian people. You don't think we thought this through? You don't think we put the effort into constructing a system that prevents terrorism? Of course they did. It's obvious from the very beginning that this is what this was about. Keep cool, my babies. Keep cool. Yes, indeed. Yes, indeed. Thank you me for saying that, Josh. Thank you, Josh. And yes, every so often, my intermittent attribution, that is a Conan o' Brien quote from Late Night with Conan o' Brien from the early aughts. Long ago. Long ago.
D
What a difference a brain makes.
B
What a difference. Wow, that was a fastball. Thank you for that. What a difference. So what about the President's efforts to try and bring peace to the region and the role that Israel plays in that, because clearly Israel has a huge vested interest in this subject. Well, yesterday, Benjamin Netanyahu put out a statement saying that the Israeli military has no restrictions on but in its efforts to target Hezbollah in Lebanon and that the IDF will stay present there in south Lebanon to continue to fight against Hezbollah. He's like, we're staying anyway. Basically, the point is kind of like, I don't really care what Trump says. We're staying. Trump. President Trump is trying to juggle some chainsaws here. He's not telling Israel they can't defend themselves. He's saying you can. You should make it proportional to the extent that you can. We're trying to bring down the tensions. What the president said earlier this week or late last week is like when Hezbollah, you know, throws a missile and it hits like a random piece of dirt. It doesn't kill anybody. And then Israel responds by blowing up an entire building near Beirut. He's like, that's not proportional. Why don't we have some proportionality here? Because we're trying to bring down the temperature. And so yesterday, it sounds like President Trump, in the midst of everything he was told about Benjamin Netanyahu's statement, and he didn't smack him around or anything, he just said, okay, I'll look into it. I'm a problem solver. Here's the president yesterday. Watch.
D
Here's another beauty. What's this one? Well, is it real beauty guy?
B
The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu said his forces are not leaving Lebanon. That is a sticking point.
D
Who did he tell that to? You?
B
He said it publicly in Israel.
D
Well, we're going to take a look at it.
B
Well, what would you do to make
D
sure that he doesn't?
B
Well, I'm not going to tell you
D
what I'm going to do, but it gets solved. Problem solver. I get problem solved real fast, including with Bibi. Go ahead.
B
Thank you, Mr. President.
D
Thank you.
B
What's the latest you've heard from the Biden? I love it. I love it. And this is, you know, this is typical Trump. I mean, look, it doesn't matter, you know, what kind of alliance you have with the United States if you're the UK if you're Canada, Australia. Like, President Trump is going to constantly be grabbing allies and adversaries by the shirt collars and saying, I need you to make a deal that's good for the United States of America. This is his custom. This is his habit. And this is how he makes deals. And also he'll be diplomatic and polite and wonderful. And this is, of course, he was doing that yesterday as he was asked this question. He didn't know about it yet. It was all breaking. He's given Netanyahu grace and those two will talk on the phone and figure out what they can do to make this work for the United States. Because that's the most important thing to us and that's the most important thing to the President of the United States. And, and, and look for Israel. A great future awaits if the President could score a peace deal here where the whole Middle east is concentrated on security instead of terrorism, that would be excellent. That's what the President's pursuing now. One of the big headlines yesterday was entirely consistent with the MoU, which is Iran can begin to sell its oil on the international market. Now this hurts China. I've seen some claims that this really helps China. It doesn't help China at all. Actually hurts China dramatically. And here's why. Because Iran was selling its oil anyway under the sanctioned regime and they were selling 90% of the sanctioned oil to China. Now with Iran being able to sell in the international market, China loses access to its share of the Iranian oil. This is a big spillover benefit of the way this is being arranged. And here's Scott Bessant. Yesterday he posted on Truth Social, excuse me, on X, he posted on X that this was happening. This is under his authorities, the President's authorities. He said, under President Trump and the Vice President, we will continue to make the world safer and more prosperous. In line with the ongoing productive talks in Switzerland, Iran is committed to free and open transit in the strait and to permit IAEA inspectors into their country. You just heard the President this morning reiterate that point. As part of the framework, treasury has issued a temporary 60 day general license authorizing the production, delivery and sale of Iranian oil. And what does that mean for the rest of us? Well, it means that global energy is going to come down in price pretty dramatically. And when global energy prices come down, that's a huge benefit to humanity. This is a humanitarian requirement. Cheap, abundant, plentiful energy all over the planet. It's good for all of us. It keeps humans alive, actually, and flourishing. And here's Kevin Hassett, one of the President's top economic advisors this weekend, saying that the oil is definitely flowing, the price is definitely coming down and this is good for all of us. Watch this cut 3.
C
If you look at what the futures markets were saying all along, from the, from the beginning of this episode that they pretty much got it right. And so right now futures markets are saying that, you know, we're, we're headed down into the 70s sometime soon. People are reluctant to buy at the spot price because they think that the futures price is going to be so low. And I can say that J.D. vance has been, you know, on the ball in Switzerland negotiating with the Iranians. He reports great progress, reports that the UN Is going to inspect their nuclear facilities. And you know, we got, we're getting some of the really, really big tankers out of the Straits now. So that the amount of oil coming through the Straits as of the beginning of the weekend was almost as much as we saw pre war. So I think that right now there's still work to do. There's still work to do. But JD Vance has made a huge amount of progress. The fact that they're open to UN Inspectors suggests that, you know, while the Israeli conflict with Hezbollah is something that's going to still have to be discussed, that the oil market impact of this thing, I believe is, is Most mostly resolved.
B
Riggs4 says in our chat that Kevin Hassett is everyone's pastor. He does, he does seem kind of like a pastor, doesn't he? But he's saying, look, that's a big thing. You tell did you hear him say that we're almost back to pre war levels on, on oil flow through the Strait of Four Moon. That's a very big deal. It's a very big sign. And what a, what a great, what a blessing it was to have Daniel Turner on with us Friday explaining from Power of the Future, explaining the way the oil markets work and the average gas station owner. The reason that there's lag time on gas prices even though oil prices are coming down very quickly. The reason that there's lag lag time on, on these gas prices is because the oil you're, the gas rather that you're buying when you fill up your car is gas that was already the reason it's underground. It was purchased at the higher price. And until they empty that tank out, they've got to make their money back from the higher price purchase. So there's a little bit of lag time. But as this, as this new refined product starts making its way into these American gas stations, you'll start seeing those prices come down even more and, and chat. Tell me, are you seeing prices come down at all near, near your homes? Are you seeing this happen Now? I know that there's gas that's expensive in places like California, no question. Especially where they impose these crazy state taxes. But have you seen gas prices come down at all? We've seen. I've seen some feedback from our audience saying, yeah, I'm seeing it. Yes, down 20 cents, says Kmart. I believe that's. That's not the actual store. Kmart. That's our friend Kmart, who's in chat. Yes, yes, yes. Seeing lower prices are cooling. Says, no, not seeing those lower prices yet. Where are you are calling. Where are you not seeing the lower prices yet? Yes, but slowly. South jersey down 10 cents. South Carolina is down. We're seeing that. Pennsylvania, Massachusetts. Okay.
F
All right.
B
Well, that's a good sign. That's. Thank you. Little. Nobody's got this kind of man on the street reporting. This is. This is great.
A
Where the.
B
Everyone's saying they've got this. No, in California. Hey, I'm sorry. For those of you in California, it's. It's crazy out there. It's. It's super crazy. $4.84 in California. That's insane. That's totally insane. Yeah, I'm sorry, Callie. I'm sorry. You've gotta deal with that crap. What a beautiful state. The Democrats have just been trying to destroy it. They're big on destroying beautiful things, right? They started with California. Right now they're working on the reflecting pole. Anything that's beautiful, they're trying to destroy. I've got more on all of it coming up in the program. We're gonna get to some of the latest, and also our great guest, Tristan Levitt will be joining us. Coming up in just minutes, we'll talk a bit about Operation Fentanyl and Furious. It's insane what's going on. So much more to get to here on the program. I want to thank one of the fine sponsors who do make this program possible each day. That's Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile, which gives me world class wireless service. Patriot mobile, one of the, one of the great sponsors of our program. So many people in the chat of Patriot Mobile. Wisely, very wise of you to have Patriot Mobile. Okay, I was mentioning a moment ago that the left is interested in destruction. They don't like beautiful things. Beautiful things are attractive things. And if those beautiful, attractive things are in any way associated with Donald Trump and the people who voted for him, man, they really hate, really hate it. And that leads to the story of the Reflecting pole. What a saga this has been. Have you noticed how obsessed the left has been with the reflecting pool renovations? Now, it shouldn't be some sort of like incredible story that a president of the United States is actually fixing one of America's most important monuments. That shouldn't be a big story at all. That should just be kind of like an everyday, oh, isn't that wonderful? The government is actually doing something for us. But it's an unusual story because actually a lot of administrations have abdicated the responsibility to care for it. President Trump is finally doing something about it. So he's been working to beautify it. And because the President's been doing that, the left has turned it into a big story because they've been rooting against beauty as they so often do. In fact, we now have evidence that they've been actively sabotaging beauty as multiple people have been arrested for vandalism of the Reflecting poll. And here's the President yesterday in the Oval Office discussing the animals who would vandalize an important American monument like the reflecting pole in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Here's President Trump. Cut four watch vandalism.
D
No vandals. You know, we have 100 and we have a, I think 290, 300 foot slit right through it. Probably a box cutter or a knife of some kind. Or we had people lifting up the basic, some of the, it's not a lot of damage, but it's, we'll probably have to let the water out and refix it. They went in there with a knife. I was just told by the, by the people over at parks. They have, five people are arrested and five people are under investigation right now. And it's a sad thing. In addition to that, they, you know, we put brand new beautiful grass all around. They put these massive letters on the grass. You probably know about that, right? And they said 86, 47. They probably got that from the dirty cop. Comey. You know he's a dirty cop, don't you? Dirty cop. He's a crooked guy. They destroyed the grass, so that's a big thing. But we're going to get it back very soon.
B
So they're working on it. They're draining it, they're fixing it up, they're healing it, and they're going to get it back up and running, despite the fact that the left keeps trying to upend it and rooting on its destruction. You know what this is really a sign of? It's a sign of how few scandals they can even get ahold of associated with President Trump. They don't have a scandal. They're not even sure what to do. President Trump's list of success is so meaningful and so long that they've backed up to item 6428, the reflecting poll, and they're trying to sabotage his improvement of it. You know, as somebody who's been in and around Washington now for what, 16 years now, I've, I, I used to commute oftentimes by a lot of these locations that the President has now fixed up. And one of the things I didn't realize about DC When I was walking through it is how many fountains there were all over the place. And the reason I didn't know there were fountains is because they weren't even operating. This was 16 years ago. They haven't been operating. President Trump has restored them. He's restored fountains at Union Station, which are now flowing. They look beautiful. They've improved the human spirit as you walk by them. Meridian Hill park in Washington, D.C. now has an epic fountain, finally cascading after many years of disrepair and not functioning at all. It was a dry, graffiti filled basin basin. Trump has fixed it. Trump has turned on the fountains at Freedom Plaza, which is not that far from the White House right nearby. And I didn't realize there was a fountain there. In other words, Trump is dramatically beautifying the city. Meanwhile, he's also making it safer as he's brought down some of the violent crime rates to record lows and deployed the National Guard to help be a steady presence in the city to convey that law and order will prevail. It's been a great thing. And rather than rooting for these successes, rather than rooting for beauty, rather than rooting for law and order, rather than celebrating the kinds of scenes that do uplift the human spirit, the left is doing what it does best, which is they are being AOCs, agents of chaos, agents of destruction. You are not allowed to have nice things. And if you have something nice, the left is coming for it, whether it's through confiscatory tax policy or straight up destroying a beautiful vision. Look at these people. You have protesters who are angry at Trump with their crazy pink hair and their ugly pride flags. That's what a disgusting looking flag. I keep telling you every time I see it, there's no way a gay dude designed that flag. It's too ugly. And there they are just acting super crazy, upset about the reflecting pool and celebrating the algae that's within it right now. What's wrong with you? They're LGBT protesters. Algae blame Trump. Yeah, whack jobs is what they are. In fact, you guys want a preview of what's coming up on the radio show today? I've got a. I've got. I'm going to give you a. Let me give you a preview. Producer Jim did not give me permission for this, but I'm going to give you a preview anyway. Listen to this. This is. Producer Jim put this together for us about these crazy algae people. Take a listen here, let me load it up for you because we gotta pull them from the radio folder. Here it is. Take a listen. Let's go algae. Let's go algae.
E
We at the Algae Salvation Society are on a mission to preserve the suffocating and gross effects of algae in the reflecting pool. Just to stick it to Donald Trump.
F
Be careful, there's a Nazi.
E
As leftist lunatics, we must ignore common sense solutions to make things in our nation's capital beautiful and encourage things like algae blooms and pond scum to destroy anything good Trump tries to do. At ass. We are team Algae because anything that is good for President Trump and the rest of the country is bad for us. Join us in saving the algae because at the Algae Salvation Society, we are all ass.
B
Thank you, producer Jim, for bringing joy to our days. You see, on the right, we can make beautiful things. We can even make beauty out of their chaos. They're all Ass. They really are. They truly are. All right, coming up in a moment, the details on a breaking scandal which we really need to dive into. Operation Fentanyl and Furious. The death of American citizens. And the government was aware that it was happening and did nothing to stop it. More ahead as we are joined by Tristan Levitt in just a moment. Now, clearly, one of the things that the President of the United States has had a lot of success on is bringing down drug overdose deaths in the United States. That's great news. But before he came into office, the Biden administration devised a plan to allow fentanyl to pour into the country. I'm sorry, what? For more on this, I want to bring in the great Tristan Levitt. He's from Empower Oversight. He's the president there. He handles all these whistleblowers, and he does a great job at it. Tristan, great to talk to you again today, sir. Thank you for being here with me.
F
Always a pleasure, Vince.
B
Okay, so. So I'm calling this Operation Fentanyl and Furious because it reminds me so much of Operation Fast and Furious when the Biden, when the Obama administration allowed guns to, quote, walk into Mexico, one of which was used to kill a Border Patrol agent by the name of Brian Terry. But this sounds like this is on a whole nother level, like Operation Fast and Furious is nothing compared to what you're exposing right now. Tell us what you found.
F
Well, DEA Agent David Howell is a whistleblower who came to us. He came to Empower Oversight, really, because my partner Jason Foster and I were Grassley's lead investigators on Operation fast and furious 15 years ago. So he got in touch with us through the original Fast and Furious whistleblower, John Dodson. And what he shared with us was that after Operation Fast and Furious, we knew that the Justice Department had adopted protocols for whenever agents in any agency were listening to a federal wiretap and became aware that guns were about to be trafficked. They had a responsibility under those protocols to try and stop those guns from being trafficked. And that was really a reversal of ATF's policy of saying, hey, rather than stop the guns, we're going to try and follow them, see where they go, and work our way up to the bigger fish. Unfortunately, the DEA and the ATF ended up in a similar conundrum because DEA was subject later to 2019 Trump administration protocols. So the firearms protocols are the only ones that existed. But fentanyl is so deadly that the Trump administration also later created a Title 3 wiretap fentanyl protocol, saying again, unlike other types of drugs, since just the tiniest, you know, just a pencil tip of fentanyl could be enough to kill someone, we're going to put a new policy in place saying if you become aware that fentanyl is about to be trafficked, you need to try and stop that as well.
B
Well, so unlike say, unlike say, like a marijuana shipment or something where the DEA may sit back for a moment and say, okay, we'll let it go so we can see the pathways that it's, it's traveling in, but fentanyl, fentanyl, they say even the smallest amount can kill an American citizen, any human being. And so therefore this is to be treated as one of the most deadly agents coming into our country. In fact, I just looked it up. Gun deaths are nowhere near fentanyl deaths. I mean, we have fewer than half in the number. Whereas fentanyl deaths, drug overdoses, over 100,000 a year during this period you're talking about.
F
That's right. And that's why the DEA adopted a one pill can kill campaign. You may have seen that advertising around. And the Trump administration designated fentanyl as weapon of mass destruction in the second administration. But in between those two administrations, the Biden administration, at least, at least in New Mexico, we haven't determined yet whether it happened in other places. But in New Mexico, they decided that they were tired of just knocking off low level buyer or distributors, traffickers. And so they started instructing the agents to let shipments go. And that was both the DEA and the U.S. attorney's office in New Mexico. So our client, David Howell objected to that. He got in trouble because he seized some from a car when they told him not to. And they really sidelined him. And he became, he started watching for other examples of this. And ultimately there were shipments of 75,0001-000002-00000. We believe that ultimately the totals are more than 1 million fentanyl pills. That were allowed to be trafficked and agents were told, stand down. We just want to watch and see where these goals. And so the human cost of this was likely immeasurable. We don't know how many deaths. You know, unlike a firearm, where there's a serial number that you could trace back each firearm.
B
Yes.
F
There's no way to track precisely where all the fentanyl went, but it likely traveled all throughout the country because that's what happens when those come across the border.
B
So given over 1 million fentanyl pills that the Biden administration was aware were pouring into the country and they let it happen anyway, they could have interdicted it. They didn't. That's a guarantee that American citizens were killed by this, isn't it?
F
I think it is. There's no way to measure how many were killed, but it is inevitable that lives were lost because of this decision to allow the fentanyl on the streets. Now, of course, DEA in New Mexico, the leadership there would say, well, we ultimately did seize it, and in some cases, months later, a year later, they did. But in those instances, they don't know if they got it all. They didn't have a precise way to track it. And there's no way to know again how many lives are lost along the way.
B
This is insane. So David Howell, why is he going, as far as I'm aware, this is the first time he's going public. You are giving him assistance on this subject. Tell us about why he's going public now.
F
Well, after he was sidelined, after he got in trouble for seizing that one car, the U.S. attorney's office basically told him, you're not allowed to testify in cases anymore because we're afraid you will tell them what we're doing. We're afraid that you'll speak up about the truth here. And so he, from there filed a complaint with the U.S. office of Special Counsel, an agency that I used to help lead. And they went through a multi year process as they do. First, they were very interested in the disclosures. Their process is then that they send over referral to the agency. And so the Justice Department during the Biden administration wrote up a report saying, hey, this isn't a big deal for two reasons. One of them is you are saying that there's no discretion under these fentanyl protocols. Well, good news, we're changing the fentanyl protocols now there is discretion. So they, they disregarded his complaint because of that. They also said, look, at the end of the day, these are decisions that prosecutors have to make. We, you know, we think that they were within their discretion to go ahead and allow this fentanyl to go as it was. So if you look in the fall of 2025, OSC's process is. After that, they will take that report, they send it to the President and to the Congress. And so that report is on there with, you know, it's redacted. But you look up Justice Department on the OSC website and you'll see a whole report about this with OSC ultimately concluding, yeah, it was reasonable to. To. For the Justice Department to conclude that this was not a violation of policy, wasn't a threat to public safety. So that really motivated him to say, hey, I need to do more. Simultaneously, an AP reporter actually reached out him because OSC failed to fully redact the documents. So when Oscar, an AP reporter, figured out that it was him and asked him if he was willing to speak, and he said, you know what? I am willing to speak up, because I think the American public would view this very differently than the Biden Justice Department has.
B
Definitely that's true. Help me understand the timeline about where this stands.
F
Now.
B
Did the Trump administration successfully end this?
F
Well, I don't know that the Trump administration really had awareness of this until Mr. Howell came forward. So in January of. Sorry, In March of 2025, after the inauguration, DEA did make a large seizure of fentanyl in Albuquerque. In fact, it's DEA's largest seizure of fentanyl ever. Shockingly, it just happened to be in Albuquerque.
B
Interesting.
F
So, of course, that took some off the street, but again, that's only a portion. That was not the case that Special Agent Howell, any of the cases he was working. Again, this just highlights how much fentanyl has been coming into our country. So still, there is fentanyl out there that was never seized. Now, we, of course, have flagged this for Justice Department leadership. We believe that there is an inspector general investigation that's being launched, and we hope that Congress will investigate as well. But, yeah, my hope is that the Trump administration will release the records, will go in and look and say, okay, where else was this tactic being used? And that they will transparently share with the public where else it was used, as well as who was responsible for it.
B
You know, it's. I was reading the Associated Press's coverage of this because, of course, they broke this story yesterday, and. And I noticed that they didn't ever include the word Biden in the piece, nor did they include the word Trump, for that matter. They only included some dates they said 2023 to 2025, which is like, just. That's like a really hard time frame to pin down, because 2025 is like when Biden leaves and President Trump arrives in January. And then they sort of generically cite various agency spokespeople. And I was confused. I'm like, is there. There's no Trump people defending this? Are they. Are there people justifying this within Trump world at all? Because if they are, we should direct our ire at them as well. It seems like this is in almost every sense a Biden scandal.
F
I think it is. I noted that from both the AP piece and there's an Albuquerque Journal journalists that also got a hold of this. Colleen healed. And so they released their pieces at the same time. And she also quotes the dea. But again, I think this is all local DEA leadership that they have asked for comment. That's defending it because those were the ones in place. Right.
B
So these are career employees, people who were there during the Biden era who were watching as this was happening and
F
letting it happen, or not just watching or were directing it. Right.
B
This is DEA leadership.
F
I mean, the same, you know, as, you know, with the new presidential administration, you get 4,000 new political appointees while the 2 million career employees stay in place. So all of the DEA New Mexico field office that was doing this before is still there. And of course, they have every interest in defending what they were doing before. One of those pieces also interviewed the former, The Biden appointed U.S. attorney, Alex Ibalas.
A
And he.
F
He very specifically acknowledged, yeah, this is what we're doing. We hoped it would save lives in the long run because, you know, we'd be able to take down these organizations, which is just an insane take.
B
Enough, Enough. I mean, it's just the same crap with gain of function research. It's always the same, oh, I hope this will save lives in the long run. After we kill millions of people, I hope it saves somebody. It's like, it's such bull crap. Enough killing American citizens. I mean, how much more punishment can we possibly take? And, Tristan, I. It is staggering. We have been subjected to so many scandals in a row, it just feels like we become numb to it. This, what you're talking about, would amount to one of the biggest scandals in American history. Millions of fentanyl pills that the administration knew were pouring into the country. They let it happen and guaranteed American citizens were being killed by this behavior. You're not wrong.
F
And the Justice Department, even if headquarters could claim we didn't know at first this was happening when they were having. When they had it brought to their attention. Their response was, well, let's change our protocols so that it's allowed. Now that's the problem that we face.
B
God, what a nightmare. Okay, so you said Congress may get on this. Do you have. Do you have any indication from anybody in Congress that they're seriously going to launch a hearing? They should, immediately.
F
Yeah. We have one congressional committee. I won't be specific, just to preserve. Again, people are different stages, but Special Agent Howell is going to be interviewed tomorrow. And we've spoken with staff from multiple different committees. And so I don't know if there will be hearings or anything else, but they are definitely digging in.
B
Okay, good. And then will we be able to speak to Mr. Howell himself at some point soon?
F
Most likely, yes, he is. We're still trying to see if there will be any. Any blowback from the story yesterday from his direct supervisors. There shouldn't, you know, the word came from higher levels of the Justice Department, you better leave this guy alone. But still, there are subtle ways that people can. Can, you know, mess with an individual.
B
Yes.
F
And so we. We anticipate him being able to speak about his experience and share more about it with the public.
B
Okay. So I'm sorry, but that's a really important detail. The high levels of the Justice Department are saying that what he's sharing is important and do not mess with him. That would. That would include, I hope, the Attorney General of the United States, Todd Blanche.
F
So I can't speak to within. You know, I can. I hope also that he shares the same view. I haven't spoken to him. I haven't spoken directly, people. But again, individuals within the Justice Department have assured us that they will do their very best to make sure that he is within dea, that hands are off of him and he's protected. And there's a letter on our website, empower oversight.org that has our press release that notes. We sent our initial letter before this became public to the Inspector General saying, hey, you really need to have an investigation on this. We then send it to Congress saying, hey, you better make sure that they investigate it. And then about a month later, so about two weeks ago, we sent a letter to the Deputy Attorney General's office to say, hey, please ensure that this whistleblower is protected. And again, we got a favorable reception from that letter.
B
And then what about consequences here? Do you have your arms around what is possible, what can be done to hold people accountable for the death of American citizens in this cruel Way, I
F
frankly think, Vince, this is one of the biggest conundrums that we face in our public life today, because our government is not structured to create the sort of accountability that most people expect. And you could attribute that to a lot of things if I really wanted to, you know, wax philosophical about it. You think back to John Adams saying, our government's made for immoral and religious people, right. And that doesn't need to be. You know, people can take that in different ways, but there's an element of trust that we put in our government. And so our criminal statutes aren't. Aren't set up for this. And it was a question I got with Operation Fast and Furious. Where, where are the people going to jail? And you'd say, well, this was, you know, Congressman Chairman Darrell Issa would call it felony stupid, right? This was. Their intention, wasn't to kill people, but through, you know, through dumb decisions that they made. This is where it ended up. I don't know what the motivations were behind this, because we don't have enough information yet. But generally, I would say our. Our laws afford a lot of latitude to prosecutors, to law enforcement. And so, yeah, we may need to differently consider how we. What kinds of consequences we subject people. Well, armed American public.
B
And, you know, the left is always attacking qualified immunity for law enforcement. They're always trying to get rid of it. But the second you bring this up, oh, the Biden administration just killed a ton of people with fentanyl. They're gonna say, well, we have qualified immunity. We can't prosecute anybody. It's really. Oh, my God. It's a nightmare. Thank you, Tristan. Tristan, Every time we hear about a new whistleblower, maybe not every time, but close to every time, every time we hear about a new whistleblower exposing these important revelations, you're often at the center of helping make that happen. So thank you for your great work and for your organization, Empower Oversight. Thank you, Tristan. We can't wait to hear more. Thank you.
F
Thanks, Vince.
B
All right, there's Tristan Levitt with, I assure you, the beginning of a scandal you are about to hear a tremendous more amount about. And you heard it right here. This story just breaking now as we. As we start the week, and Tristan sharing that. And I do intend, as I was asking him just a moment ago, hopefully we can get this whistleblower on with us. I'd love to have a conversation with him, find out more about what he was seeing on the inside, and bring that to you. This is a very, very big Story again. Fentanyl. Fentanyl. Just pouring into our country, killing American citizens. Millions of pills. They knew about it, guaranteed, that was killing us.
D
Hey there.
B
I'm Paula Pan. I help people make the smartest money decisions possible. If you don't control your money, it controls you. You're not in control of your finances and you have to look outside of yourself to live the life that you want.
F
You're not in control of your life.
B
Like, what is it that you actually want? Money should follow the dreams and goals because sometimes we make the dream and goal the money. And you've overworked yourself and you've exceeded what you've needed for the actual thing you want. Sometimes we forget, like, what's the actual thing you want? Afford anything. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. It's really sick stuff. What a difference an administration makes. You know, this FBI and this Justice Department has actually brought the drug overdose deaths down a lot, which has been wonderful news. A lot of that's just been securing the border. And let me, let me go to that issue for a moment. I want to give you an update on securing the border because there was a story this week in Axios about how the Department of Homeland Security is working aggressively to get the border wall finished. Now, remember the big beautiful bill, now, the big beautiful law had a bunch of funding in it in order to finish the navigable portions of the border, to finish all of the wall off, including water barriers, you know, right there in the Rio Grande, have water barriers up so people can't just swim across it, which is a stupid and a life threatening thing to do in the first place. But they're trying to create all sorts of barriers to stop people from pouring into the country, including after President Trump leaves office. And here's the update from Axios. Now they're making it. They basically say the headline is the clock is ticking on Trump's border wall. Like, and in other words, they're running out of time. Not exactly. Because the timeline that the Trump administration has is by the end of next year, would be by the end of 2027 to have this finished. And here is what they've got. They say the closer you look at Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen's declaration that the border wall will be finished by this time next year. The harder it is to make the numbers work, they claim. They say DHS has only completed 10% of its planned primary wall. It will have to navigate construction lawsuits, negotiate with or sue private citizens for land access and finalize, finalize contracts and designs, all while minimizing the delays that do slow big construction projects. There are about 700 miles of primary border wall left to build. 700 miles according to Customs and Border Protection spokesman along with public agency data that tracks wall construction from the CBP and the Department of War. So they would need to increase to about 13 miles a week to finish. On Marquis Mullen's self declared timeline, the primary wall construction rate for most of this year has been roughly 3, 2.6 miles per week. So they really need to jump it up. But DHS is counting on construction speed to jump up now that the majority of contracts have finally been awarded. Yeah, that's been truthfully as far as we've been aware, a lot of this has been getting the companies on board after Congress finally authorized the funding last year. So they went through the bids, they got the construction companies and now they're getting these projects up and running and they're advancing past the design stage. Mark Wayne Mullen just testified to Congress in June, quote, we're on track to have the primary border wall done completed from the Pacific to the Gulf of America this time next year. We're ahead of schedule. We're below budget on building border wall, said the CBP commissioner Rodney Scott at a recent public event. Primary border wall I've made a commitment to the President will be done by the end of 2020, 2027. And that of course would give us a full year of additional year of the, of the end of the Trump administration for them to have that wall up. And if they don't, if they don't meet that deadline of 2027 again, they have 2028 to work on it too. CBP continues to develop and finalize its plan for border barrier construction funded by the one Beautiful Bill act with a focus on the top operational priorities with historical rates of high illegal entry where illegal aliens regularly attempt to enter the United States. So this is underway. Do they have to navigate a maze of obstructions in order to get a border wall up? Yes, they do. But the DHS Secretary, Mark Wayne Mullen, the CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, they're saying this thing's going to be done by next year. All right, let's hold them to it. And I'm glad to see they're building this thing because it has to stay. It is a durable policy against whatever sort of amnesty efforts the left has designs for going into the future if God forbid they ever get power again. It'd be good to have a wall up. It'd be very good to have a wall up. And they're working on it as we speak. That's wonderful. Meanwhile, the FBI scored a bunch of big victories this week. You see what the FBI is up to. It's been crazy, actually. Just in the last 24 hours, the FBI just captured the second most wanted fraudster on its top 10 fraudsters list, its most wanted fraudsters list. You know, the one that they, they came up with because JD Vance asked for it. Here they go. Yesterday, Fox Report on the subject. Cut 5. Watch this second Most Wanted Fraudster he's allegedly behind.
F
Listen to this.
B
A $1.2 billion Medicare conspiracy. Billion with a B. White House officials praising the anti fraud task force's role in making this bust. This is why this task force was so important, because it has focused all of the resources of the federal government on doing this. The Biden administration could have gotten him. They found plenty of time to arrest people playing outside of abortion clinics. But instead, they let this guy run away with all of his money outside of the country. And David Spunn is joining us live from Washington with the latest on this. David, DOJ has been busy, busy, busy making these busts.
G
The department really has. Bill. This captures part of that administration's approach to highlight fraud. Sure, other justice departments in the past have caught fire fraudsters and did it for decades. But this time, the FBI and DOJ put together a most wanted fraudster list with eight people. Two are already in custody in just three weeks. Herbert Kimball joins the list of those captured after he was taken down in the Philippines. According to authorities, he targeted the Medicare system to the tune of $1.2 billion. Investigators say he operated a sophisticated call center operation and his conspiracy involved orthopedic braces and billing Medicare. He operated in the Philippines where he was picked up after fleeing the US
B
he was in the Philippines. They got a hold of him. Thank God. $1.2 billion. This guy became a billionaire by stealing from your paycheck, stealing from the elderly, stealing from Medicare recipients. Launch him into the sun, please. I know SpaceX just put a rocket up in the air today. Can we strap him to one of them? He doesn't have to sit on the inside. $1.2 billion and they're not done. Did you see what they did yesterday? So in addition to busting these people for $1.2 billion in theft, then all of a sudden they cranked out another one. Yesterday, the FBI brought back a fugitive accused of $3.7 billion in Medicare fraud, caught in Turkey. Ibrahim Khaldun Helmi fled the United States in May of last year. Obviously with the Trump administration on a hot on his tail, Turkish authorities detained them. A fugitive accused of helping mastermind a $3.7 billion Medicare fraud scheme, one of the largest in American history, is now in American custody. Authorities tracked him down in Turkey and flew him back to the US to face charges, the FBI just announced on Monday. Ibrahim Khaldun Helmi, recently detained by Turkish authorities, fled America in May of 25. The FBI's Critical Incident Response Group flew out to Turkey and transported Helmi's ass back to the United States on Friday through a foreign transfer of custody operation. Cash Patel hailing the operation as a major victory in the Bureau's efforts to track down fugitives accused of stealing taxpayer dollars. Ibrahim Kaldoun Helmi charged with one of the biggest Medicare scams in history, $3.7 billion scheme to defraud Medicare Steal from the elderly, steal from your paycheck. How many hours have you busted your ass to pay the government money that you didn't want to pay? And then that money gets stolen from you by people like this? What do I got? That's four or five billion dollars so far in just 24 hours. Five billion dollars of stolen money in the form of these guys who have just been arrested and we're not going to get all that back. They'll try. The government's going to try and get some of it back. A lot of that's just gone. It's been spent, it's in foreign countries, it's disappeared. That's why you got to stop it before it happens. That's more of these most wanted guys are being caught. Two weeks ago they picked up a dude from Minnesota too. Another dude with a. Oh, it is a good Irish name. Ready? Saeed Abdullahi Ereg.
F
Yeah.
B
Unbelievable. FBI Director Cash Patel announcing this is two weeks ago that Saeed Abdullahi Areg, a former Minneapolis grocery and deli owner, had surrendered to federal authorities, marking the first person on the FBI's new Most Wanted Fraudsters list to be taken into custody as federal authorities continue a nationwide fraud crackdown faces charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering. The FBI said a reg, a former south Minneapolis grocery and deli owner, surrendered to federal authorities less than a week after the Justice Department unveiled its Most Wanted Fraudsters list, which is intended to publicly identify these individuals charged in major frauds cases. Quote Today's arrest is historic, the first ever arrest of a subject on our Most Wanted Fraudsters list released last week with J.D. vance's White Horse. White House task force to eliminate fraud. That was Patel in a statement. Cash Patel in a statement. So Cash man, Cash is staying busy here, ladies and gentlemen. They're picking up fraudsters left and right, hauling in jackasses who are stealing billions of dollars from you and me. This is, this is very good news. Very, very good news. In fact, I've got more good news to share with you. We're gonna have to do it on the big national radio show today. We'll do that coming up. I do that radio show every day, 12 to 3 Eastern Time. This episode balances breaking news and investigative exposés (notably the fentanyl trafficking scandal) with positive developments from the Trump administration — including progress on Middle East peace, economic recovery, crime reduction, and the beautification of Washington D.C. The discussion with whistleblower attorney Tristan Levitt is especially revealing, suggesting a scandal with huge policy and political implications. Vince’s lively tone, pop culture humor, and engagement with his live audience keep the episode both informative and entertaining for listeners seeking conservative perspectives on current affairs.
