If we force Americans to prove they are who they say they are, Democrats will lose elections, says Steve Cohen. It reminds me of the Katie Porter clip from earlier this week where she's like, well, all these actual Californians are leaving our state, so we just have to import lots of illegal aliens in order to replace them from top to bottom. These Democrats have gone all in on election rigging and they say it out loud. They're not, they're not in any way hiding it. It's not some sort of like subterranean conspiracy theory. It is the open conspiracy. They don't want the Save America act because they know that election rigging is the way that they obtain power. I don't know how much we can beat how much more we can beat this drum. Which is why it's so crazy to me that to this very second, John Foon continues not to have the Save America act presented to us. In fact, on that, I wasn't even going to mention this today, but I'm going to mention it now. They don't thinking about it. Let me, let me show you a story. This is great from our White House correspondent Reagan Reese, the great Reagan Reese at the Daily Caller. Here's what she has up. This is just in the last 24 hours. Turning Point USA, prepare yourself. This is wonderful. Turning Point USA has now set its sights on John Thune after the win in Indiana this week. This is great. So what we have is this. Turning Point USA Action is preparing to primary Senate Majority Leader in South Dakota, Senator John Thune, after notching that major win in Indiana this week. Because remember Turning Point, just like you, just like me, just like the president of the United States. But they had this, they had the actual activism on the ground here, was fighting in Indiana to throw out all of the incumbents who failed us, who failed the Republican voters in Indiana, failed normal people across the country who wanted to regain ground against the Democrats who've been rigging all of our elections and congressional districts in particular. And all we were asking from Indiana was two Tennessee just did one. We were asking for two of those rigged Democrat seats to be taken away. And Republicans failed to do that. So President Trump and company, including Turning Point USA said, we're taking you out. So after the, after that happened, after that happened, big grassroots organizations like TP USA and Club for Growth, they pledged to primary those Indiana politicians on Tuesday. At least five of the seven were all tossed. Now TP USA Action is telling the Daily Caller, telling Reagan, Reese, their work isn't done. If other states don't redistrict or if Republicans like Thune don't pass the Save America act, they are prepared to turn their attention to those states and those politicians. From Tyler Boyer, this is the chief operating officer at TPUSA Action quote, a lot of Republicans will lose their jobs if they don't get on board if they don't listen to their voters, if they don't do the right thing and fight the manipulation of the Democrats. Other states that decide not to do this, particularly in the south after the Supreme Court ruling, should be on watch. Guys like Thune should be on watch. They're not getting the will of the people done with the Save America Act. Those are the two biggest targets here on who might be next. You got that? So Turning Point, remember, in the wake of Charlie's assassination, the American people donated massive amounts of money to Turning Points operations, and for good reason. The point was to carry on Charlie's legacy, including, and especially in political activism, to achieve the political goals necessary to make America great again. So all that money flows in. How is, how is Turning Point, using all of the generosity of the American people who want to see Charlie's mission fulfilled, is to get rid of the people who are impediments to election integrity. That's it. And I love it, because what he's talking about is exactly right. If you. If you want to get to election integrity, how do we do that? We regain terrain on the map that's been stolen by Democrats. That's what Tennessee just did yesterday. And then you also get rid of the impediments in the United States Senate who are right now blocking us from having the bare minimum. The bare minimum being voter id. Voter id to just prove you are who you say you are. Only American citizens can vote. Only American citizens. So when you register to vote, you prove you're an American citizen. Boom, you're of age, you're an American citizen, you can register to vote. You're good. Non citizens. Purge them from the voter rolls. We've got a lot, we've got many thousands of non citizens on the voter rolls. We know that thanks to the Department of Justice, which, by the way, has been doing great work. Get rid of them, get them off the voter rolls. Prosecute any election official who aids and abets in election rigging. That's a part of the Save America Act. Further consequences for election officials who subvert our system. This is all built in. And of course, the President wants to include these other elements, too, like keeping men out of women's sports, protecting children from what the President refers to as mutilization, typically known as mutilation. But we're adding mutilization to the dictionary now, thanks to the President's efforts. So this is all good stuff. It's what I mean. It's like the American people broadly support this, and you can't do it. Okay, fine. We can get rid of you then. We can get rid of you then. And turning point as now promised, that's where we're going. That's what we're up to. It's good news. Now, Thune, of course, is not up for election this year, but placing pressure here on all of these senators, including to replace Thune in leadership. If he's going to fail us, fine by me. Keep the pressure up. And that includes for us, we should keep the pressure up as well. We want the Save America Act. Let's stay on that drumbeat and let's continue to make this a part of the DNA of what it means to be an American voter that cares about your country. Election integrity. Minimum threshold. Minimum threshold for anybody who wants my vote. Election integrity. All right. More ahead on the program. I want to get to. Well, let's get to the developments in the Iran war because if you've been following the headlines like I have, it's been head spinning, man. It's been, it just been. I think that's right. Deer Harris is sharp. Yeah. No. Fly fishing. Fly fishing. If you haven't tried this, ladies and gentlemen, fly fishing is like one of the most therapeutic things you could possibly do. And fly tying is cool, too. I haven't really done that much fly tying. I've got the, I've got the fly tying set. I've tied a couple of flies. I don't, I. They came out okay. They came out okay. But it, it's, it's an amazing thing. It's like, it's, it's just really good. I don't know, there's something spiritual about it. It's just like, it just quiets your mind. It keeps you really focused. My problem with fly fishing is I can do kind of like a full cast pretty well. But the roll cast, I'm still trying to get it down, you know, so I need, I need a lot of clearance behind me for my cast. Otherwise this thing's getting snagged in a tree. That's my issue. So I got to, I got to get back out there on the water at some point and, you know, catch some fish. I love it. It's really cool. Really cool. All right, let's get to more important things. Yes, Time flies is very therapeutic. I totally agree, Craig. Let's. Let's get into what's going on with Iran. What's going on with Iran? President Trump just told Fox News that we could have an Iran deal within a week. He said within a week. Now, now, granted, like, look, if you think about the President, what he's been saying on the subject, he's pretty routinely been saying it could come any moment. It could be here in a second. We could have it in a moment. So, you know, look, I think the President, there's a, there's a bit of, I think, forecasting. The way I'm viewing this is like the President when he says things like this, there's wishcasting and forecasting going on. Like, he's very hopeful that this could occur, but it's actually not a full blown commitment that it's going to be nailed down. Because it really takes Iran agreeing to these conditions. You know, we've got them in a chokehold. I mean, dude, you want to, why don't you tap out, cry uncle and just give up your stupid nuclear program? We could have a deal in a minute, forget a week. But the President told Fox News's Brett Bayer yesterday we could have a deal within a week. He Said in a phone interview with Brett. Also, the Pakistanis are saying, because they're the mediators to all of this, they have been, they've played mediator, that the US And Iran is close to a temporary truce right now, Pakistani officials claim a temporary truce. The US And Iran are close to a temporary agreement to halt the war in the Middle east, officials in Pakistan claimed on Thursday as diplomatic activity gathered fresh momentum after a near breakdown of the current ceasefire. Earlier this week, officials in Islamabad said a very basic interim deal could be reached as early as this weekend and that Tehran was reviewing a US Proposal. However, Trump and Pakistan have consistently suggested a breakthrough is imminent and weeks of previous efforts to negotiate a permanent end to hostilities have made little real progress. So in Pakistan, they're thinking maybe by the weekend. And then there's the Iranian side of the equation. The Iranians are claiming that talks are ongoing, according to the New York Times, but their sticking point is kind of the key sticking point, ladies and gentlemen. The nukes. The nukes. Three senior Iranian officials telling the New York Times. Because the New York Times, of course, talks to Iran that Tehran and the United States are discussing a one page plan for both sides to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and into hostilities for 30 days. A 30 day pause. Again, this is just being upgraded ceasefire. I don't, I don't really know functionally how this is dramatically different, but maybe the Strait of Hormuz is wide open. That if it is wide open at that point and the Iranians stop sending their, you know, demented little terrorists after every ship that tries to go through the strait, then yeah, well, that would help the global economy for sure. But that would be an upgraded version of the ceasefire for 30 days while they try to reach a comprehensive deal. The talks over a short term agreement are continuing. The official said negotiators are trading proposals over how to describe the framework for a potential permanent deal. The three Iranian officials, who are close to the negotiations and spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomacy, said a key obstacle was the US Demand for commitments in advance on the fate of Iran's nuclear program and its stockpile of highly enriched uranium. Well, I'm telling you, this is the whole ball game and Iran says it's a sticking point, which means Iran is saying, we don't want to give up our nukes. The President's been really clear about this. You want all this stand, you want this chaos to come to an end. Give us the enriched uranium. Swear off any more uranium enrichment at all. You're done, you're done. You do that, we're off to the ball game. You don't do that, we're gonna keep punching you in the face. So you pick one, you wanna go, you wanna be off to the ball game or you wanna get punched in the face. Those are your choices. Choose wisely. That's the President's offer. And so Iran is telling the New York Times, yeah, the sticking point is the degree to which we enrich uranium. No, it's not a sticking point. The President's position is clear. Don't enrich any. That's the position. The reason you're at the negotiating table is not because you love President Trump. It's because you desperately want your economy back open. It's because your military is at the bottom of the sea. Iran is here. The regime, I mean, not the people. The Iranian regime is at the table under duress. They don't want to be at this table with Trump to begin with. The reason they're there now is because President Trump has forced them to be. So that means he's got all the leverage in this conversation. The fact that they're still dead ending on the uranium stuff is a real sign, of course, of what they've always been, which is a nuclear thirsty terrorist regime. But if you want to actually get out of this, get out of it, get out of the nuke business, and we're off to the races. So that's the state of the talks now. What about the state of the blasts going each way? Well, this, this sequence of events, I feel like the media has not done a very good job of explaining this. So I'm going to try and give it to you as tightly as I can. Earlier this week, an Iranian oil tanker tried to run our blockade. It tried to just go sprint right through our blockade. Now, chat. You don't have to be, you know, a ship captain to understand how stupid this is. You don't jump into your Iranian oil tanker and try and blitz the blockade. You don't, you don't blitz the blockade. So they tried. And you know what we did? We sent a fighter jet in and we blew up the rudder. We disabled the rudder on the ship. And so it's dead in the water. It's just sitting there now. And so this, it failed to comply with repeated warnings from the United States military. The Central Command released a statement saying all of this. The US Navy has already turned around 52 different commercial vessels since the start of the blockade. That was on April 13th. This idiot tried to make A run. And so we blew up the rudder. So in response, Iran began targeting US warships this week. I feel like we were pretty generous. We were very clear about the terms. You can't, you can't blitz the blockade. It's a blockade. That's the point. You try and run through it, we're gonna stop you. So they stop. This is for Iran, by the way. It's for Iran's ports. So we stopped this Iranian tanker. Iran started targeting U.S. warships and CENTCOM released a statement yesterday explaining the sequence of events here. So US forces intercepted unprovoked Iranian attacks and responded with self defense strikes. As US Navy guided missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz to the Gulf of Oman yesterday, May 7, Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats at three of our ships that were transiting the strait. No US assets were struck at all. At all. That's how good we are and that's how bad they are. U.S. central Command eliminated inbound threats, so we took out the threats and we targeted Iranian military facilities responsible for attacking American forces, including missile and drone launch sites, command and control locations, and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance nodes. CENTCOM does not seek escalation, but, but remains positioned and ready to protect American forces. So we just blew up all the sites that were launching stuff at us. And the President's position is clear. The ceasefire is not over. But every time you throw these feckless little limp wristed attacks at us, we'll just destroy the source of those attacks. So we did. We did. And the President yesterday described in practically poetic terms precisely how this all played out. It was really great. Here's the President's truth, social description. He said three world class American destroyers just transited very successfully out of the Strait of Hormuz under fire. There was no damage done to the three destroyers, but great damage done to the Iranian attackers. They were completely destroyed, along with numerous small boats which are being used to take the place of their fully decapitated navy. These boats went to the bottom of the sea quickly and efficiently. Missiles were shot at our destroyers and were easily knocked down. Likewise, drones came and were incinerated while in the air. They dropped ever so beautifully down to the ocean, very much like a butterfly dropping to its grave. A normal country would have allowed these destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal country. They are led by lunatics. And if they had the chance to use a nuclear weapon, they would do it without question. But they'll never have that opportunity. And just like we knocked them out again today, will knock them out a lot harder and a lot more violently in the future if they don't get their deal signed fast. Our three destroyers with their wonderful crews will now rejoin our naval blockade, which is truly a wall of steel. President Donald J. Trump. Like a butterfly dropping to its grave. The dude's a poet. I didn't even know. I didn't even know it. It's so funny. It's like a butterfly dropping through its grave. President of the United States. Yes, official words from the President. So, yeah, we took out the threat. We struck a bunch of their locations yesterday. The Kashmir port, the Bandar Abbas, Bandar Kargan, all these various Iranian locations that posed a threat to us. Now, we also learned a little bit more this week about why it is that we had a pause at all on Project Freedom. On Project Freedom. So remember, the President basically set up a zone defense in the area to get Project Freedom to get, basically to get commercial ship traffic moving except from those Iranian ports which continue to be blockaded. And it stopped the President. It was kind of a head spinner, wasn't it? I mentioned it to you earlier this week. I was like, well, the President must feel like he's closer to a deal or something. There's gotta be some sort of behind the scenes activity going on here that would dictate why we'd have to pause Project Freedom. He says the blockade continues, but Project Freedom doesn't. For now, it's on pause. Well, we just found out, I think, a lot more interesting detail about that. There's a report here from the Wall Street Journal about why exactly this happened. And it involves the Gulf states, it involves uae, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait. Basically what had occurred, according to this reporting, is that Iran continued to act belligerent. And remember, they fired all of those missiles in the direction of UAE this week. And UAE took some strikes, but most of this was shot down. But the Iranians are spazzing out. They're like attacking all of these locations all around them, including these various Arab states that surround them. And the reaction from the Pentagon that I played for you, that included Pete Hegseth and General Kane, was essentially, look, the ceasefire is not violated. They're just lashing out. We just want a deal. This little nonsense. We'll take care of it. But the ceasefire continues. That was their position. Well, apparently that led to some consternation from some of the Gulf states because they really wanted the United States to have like some sort of forceful response against Iran to protect them. So the reporting from the Wall Street Journal is that Saudi Arabia And Kuwait had essentially shut down the United States military's use of our own bases and airspace, that area in, in order to basically say, like, hey, we don't want to be a part of this for now if you're not going to defend us. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have now lifted those restrictions, says the Wall Street Journal on the US Military's use of their bases in airspace imposed after the start of the American operation to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to U.S. officials and Saudi officials. Removing a hurdle that had tripped up President Trump's effort to move ships through the vital waterway, the Trump administration is now looking to restart the operation to guide the commercial ships with naval and air support that it had paused for 36 hours this week. It isn't clear when this could happen, though Pentagon officials gave a timeline of as early as this week, meaning at any moment, the United States operation to force open the strait relied on an enormous fleet of aircraft to protect commercial ships from Iranian missiles and drones, making Saudi and Kuwaiti bases in airspace critical to its execution. But the mission set off the biggest dispute in Saudi American military relations in recent years, triggering a spate of high level phone calls between the president himself and the kingdom's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in order to resolve this. And apparently that happened. So they had a phone call, things got set, basically, they had a phone call, the de facto Saudi leader conveyed his concerns, advised the President of the decision, and the president was able to get everything back up and running. So this is, once again, this is kind of one of those moments where the President gets involved, everything gets back up and running, we're good to go. But in case you're wondering, what was that? Why did that, why do we get that pause? Apparently it was just the president, as always, he's juggling chainsaws. The guy is trying to navigate international diplomacy, foreign policy, national security, big foreign conflict, all at the same time. So this is, this is just the president kind of navigating all of this, but things are back up and running. It looks like we could have Project Freedom back up and running literally at any second. Perhaps by the time you hear this podcast, it's all, it's all good to go, but the president navigating towards a deal. And then finally in the summary, as I started with, we're looking at perhaps within the next week according to the President, perhaps by this weekend, according to Pakistan. And the Iranians are still being stubborn jackasses saying they want to hold on to their nuclear program. But, you know, let's get rid of that. Let's get rid of that. And we could be good to go. So keep you apprised of that as we get meaningful updates on that subject. Hopefully that was a good, tight description for you. That's what I wanted to give you because even I was looking at some of the headlines, I was like, wait a second, how did this happen? What is this? And I feel like I have a much better handle on where we are right now. Okay. More on other things that are going on in the world. I have an update for you. Yesterday I told you about the United States Department of Justice going after the Soros prosecutors like Steve Discano in Fairfax county and there's others, Larry Krasner, get ready in Philadelphia. There's a lot of these guys. They're all across the country, these Soros prosecutors. And the reason the Justice Department is going after them is because they keep letting illegal aliens free. And American citizens don't get the same sort of privileges that illegal aliens do. So there's, there's an uneven, uneven application of justice here. And so it's a civil rights violation, which is why Harmony Dillon is on their ass, which is great. She's going after Fairfax County Prosecutor Steve Descano right now. And the big headline case here is the death of Stephanie Minter. Stephanie Minter was murdered earlier this year, stabbed to death in a bus stop in Northern Virginia by an illegal alien who this Soros funded prosecutor released over and over and over again until he killed Stephanie. Cheryl Minter. I played some audio from, from her yesterday. It was a flashback to when she had talked to the press about all of this. And she's just been absolutely devastated. She really blames Steve Descano for the fact that her daughter is not with us anymore. And yesterday that great reporter Nick Minoc caught up with Cheryl Minter again and got her reaction to the fact that the Trump Justice Department is finally going after this guy Descano and these other Soros funded prosecutors. Let's take a listen to Cheryl Minter and what she had to say about the breaking news. Cut down.
