Perfect to have a United States Senator on in light of everything happening in the United States Senate right now. I also want to talk to him about this, this big news out of Cuba yesterday. Of course that's affecting a lot of Cuban Americans who live and thrive in the free state of Florida. So we will talk, Senator Scott, about that very thing. We just got some announcements from the United States Department of Justice. Indictments against a couple of people to include Raul Castro down in Cuba yesterday, the 94 year old for killing American citizens back in the 90s. I'll go through some of the details with you there. And then we also have charges announced against somebody who was involved in the Jack Smith scheme. That unconstitutional special counsel, the one who tried to upend the whole country without any constitutional predicate whatsoever. Yeah, we just got charges announced against people involved in that garbage. That's ahead on a very, very busy edition of Vince. Great to have you with us as always. Thank you for being here. Looking gorgeous. The whole chat looks great today. Let's, let's. Yes, you're right. Interview threads. Who said interview threads? I've got the interview threads on today, April 25th. Thank you. Thank you very much, guys, for everybody who came out to see me last night in, at the Dulles Town center in Northern Virginia. We were out at the, at the, at the wonderful Bourbon Boulevard Reserve, a phenomenal steakhouse. They just did a grand opening. I've been working with the Bourbon Boulevard guys for years now in Northern Virginia. Just an amazing steakhouse, like one of the biggest collections, maybe the biggest collection in a single bar in Virginia of, of great bourbons. It was super cool. It was really nice to see everybody. Thank you for that. We just, I just had a wonderful time and just, you guys are like truly the best audience anywhere. So it was super, super sweet to see everybody and just talk about how, how well things are going. In fact, it's funny, one of the most dominant themes of our conversations was, man, haven't we been, been on a great win streak lately? And especially for those people who are from Virginia, that, that, that's especially resonant when you've got, you know, an entire left wing election rigging operation that we just thwarted thanks to the state Supreme Court upholding the state constitution, which is, which is an amazing thing in this day and age because you often worry that the whole process is rigged against the rule of law and the Constitution. And luckily it prevailed in that case in Virginia. So we stopped the big election rigging. And then of course, the President's been on this like, tremendous win streak lately where he's throwing out these rhino senators, people like, you know, Bill Cassidy. Boom gone. John Cornyn. Looks like as of next week, he'll be boom gone. You've got guys retiring, you've got Thumbelina, Thom Tillis. Boom gone. The guy's retiring because President Trump said, I'm going to run a primary opponent against You. And he's like, I'm going to go. I'm going to go. He got out of the race. Joni Ernst, Boom, gone. Mitch McConnell, boom, gone. And the list is going on and on. I saw one list this week that said that 20%. Right now, we're on track for 20% of the entire Republican Senate delegation flipping over going into 2027. That's a big deal. A fifth of all the Republican senators. We're getting rid of a lot of rhinos, and then we're replacing them with, hopefully, MAGA All Stars, which is what we need. We need some backup for the President of the United States. In fact, the only guy who really stands out on the list, who I'm kind of disappointed is leaving is Tommy Tuberville. Tommy Tuberville is heading out the door, but that's because he's destined to become the next governor of Alabama. So he's got other work to do. But it's just kind of amazing what's happening. In fact, there's a lot of reason that I'm holding my head up right now thinking, man, things are headed in the right direction in our country. I'm appreciative. I'm appreciative of the fight that we're seeing and the winds that we're having. So that was part of my conversation last night. But, but on that front, if I, if I can start with that this morning, just this, this, this fight that's going on among the establishment. There's a piece this week that the Senate GOP is, quote, reeling, reeling R, E E L I N G, reeling that Trump is tossing the rhinos. They're really upset about this over in the establishment Senate among the establishment GOP Zaxios report this week. Trump's revenge spree stuns. Senate Republicans stuns. How are you stunned by the fact that the President is bluntly pursuing the agenda that you and I voted for? That shouldn't stun you? Like, they are really not paying attention if they're stunned. Senate Majority Leader John Thune and most of the Republican Conference was reeling on Tuesday from President Trump's snap endorsement of Ken Paxton in the Texas Republican Senate standoff. Thune called it Trump's decision. And they're upset about it. They're very upset about it. Thom Tillis Thumbelina has been unbowed since announcing his retirement in July after clashes with Trump. Bill Cassidy just voted with Democrats this this week to advance an Iran war powers vote. Mm.
B
Yeah.
A
To try and restrain President Trump's ability to solve the conflict in Iran. John Cornyn looks like he's about to get thrown out of the United States Senate. They say. Susan Collins is annoyed. She told the press, quote, I don't understand Paxton's ethically challenged, whined Susan Collins. Lisa Murkowski, I'm supremely disappointed, she said. Also, President Trump's endorsement of Ken Paxton came in the middle of his 10 day GOP revenge tour, is what Axios calls it. Cassidy, of course, getting thrown out. President Trump, of course, celebrating that Thomas Massie was just thrown out this week as well in Kentucky. And Lindsey Graham is bitching and moaning that Ken Paxton is going up against James Talafrico right now in Texas, that he's going to be the nominee, go up against Talafreaka. It's going to get more expensive. They're all whining. They're. And again, I talked about this yesterday. They're not whining because. Because Ken Paxton is less electable than John Cornyn. That's a stupid thing to say. Very stupid. John Corden couldn't get 50% of the freaking vote in the Republican primary. What are you talking about? Do you know how much effort it would take to get John Cornyn across the finish line? It'd be immense. Ken Paxton, meanwhile, is very popular among Republicans in Texas. Republicans in Texas constantly win general elections. Texas has been described as fool's gold for Democrats. They've thought for years that Texas is going blue, Texas is going blue. And then they constantly face plant in the Lone Star State. God willing, they face plant hard and they do it while wasting a tremendous amount of money in Texas. And talk about a great candidate to run against Talafrico. That dude thinks that God is gender fluid and that God enthusiastically supports killing babies. What a demented weirdo. Yeah, so, no, Talaferico is perfect. Let's run against him. Let's destroy him and let's get Ken Paxton to the United States Senate where we can get something like the Save America Act. That'd be great. That'd be super great. And then of course, you got John Thune coming out of this thing. John Thune. He says he's not a big fan of President Trump's anti weaponization fund. I'm not a big fan. He said you're not a big fan of making people whole after the government trampled their rights. What are you talking about? Well, then we're not a big fan of you. What is John Thune doing as the leader in the United States Senate? Don't you feel like this is coming to a head, ladies and gentlemen. Don't you feel like this is going to. This is going to finally just break? Like President Trump is going to totally break free from John Thune at some point and it's going to be messy, but in the end, I think it's going to be worth it. I mean, we have to clean up the United States Senate. One Trump confidant saying of President Trump's attitude towards the Senate. He's done with the Senate bullshit. And soon. And all of them, they can't deliver. Said a Trump confidant. The only reason the President was holding out for Cornyn was the SAVE Act. Yeah, the SAVE Act.
B
Yeah.
A
He was holding out for the Save America Act. And when that became a lost cause, it was, why the fuck should I support this guy? Says the Trump confidant. Trump saw some polling this weekend. The polling showed Paxton will win in November. It might have been Paxton's polling, but it's Texas, said the Trump adviser. Okay, so some very interesting things are going on right now with the United States Senate. Also, you have members of the Senate who are not at all hiding their contempt for Trump. And Bitter Bill Cassidy has straight up come out against this anti weaponization fund, which is, by the way, so freaking wholesome. I love this. They're trying to turn this into a huge scandal. Isn't it wonderful that the United States Department of Justice would settle up with Americans who've had their rights absolutely crushed by the government? Look at this. Here's. Here's Bitter Bill. He's Bitter Bill. From now on, Bitter Bill says people are concerned about paying their mortgage or rent, affording groceries and paying for gas. That's true, they are. But he says they're not concerned about putting together a $1.8 billion fund for the President and his allies to pay whomever they wish with no legal precedent or accountability. Now, this is a lie, by the way. There is legal precedent. The Justice Department straight up cited it when they announced the fund. The fund is not $1.8 billion. It's one point. Get it right. $1.776 billion. This is adding to our national debt, says Bill Cassidy. As if the Senate has ever been concerned about this. If there needs to be a settlement, the administration should bring it to Congress to decide. No, they don't have to. The law has already conferred on the Justice Department the ability to handle settlements, which is what they're doing. Congress had its chance and it created a law that allows the Justice Department to do this. What do you want you want a second pass at doing the law? No. Too late. Now. Something good can happen and you can't stop it. Bitter Bill. Bitter Bill's very upset. Thumbelina attacked it too. Thom Tillis is ripping President Trump's $1.8 billion weaponization fund. According to Igor Bobich over at Notus, which is a news of the United States news outlet. Quote, imagine that, a fund that is set up to compensate people who assaulted Capitol Police officers. Said Thumbelina, people that pled guilty to physical acts against the president may actually be able to get compensated. How absurd is that coming out of my mouth? Well, everything that comes out of your mouth is absurd. So that that stands to reason. But this is. Again, how many left wing slush funds have we seen that have screwed over the American people? USAID was an entire left wing slush fund. That came a taxpayer expense. In the waning weeks of the Biden administration. They spent $20 billion on left wing operations out of the EPA that did nothing to benefit America and were entirely about advancing the Democrats Democrat party's political interests. Again, a taxpayer expense. Spare us. You're whining about a couple of American citizens being made whole after they were attacked by their government. And there's a lot of them. They're coming out of the woodwork. I'm seeing, I'm seeing a lot of these, these American citizens who got destroyed by the government, including the lectern guy. You know the lectern guy. You know him, he's on X. He was the guy who, of course, who was depicted carrying the lecter. The lectern. Remember him? Nancy Pelosi's lectern. He carried it like 20ft. He didn't really carry it that far. He didn't steal it. He walked it across a room. That was it kind of famous photo. And, and he was describing this week that his life was very much upended by the government. He said, on a serious note, I'm writing up my complaint against the DOJ and I'm submitting it this week. Maybe I'll fly to D.C. and deliver it personally. My situation's different than most. The infamy gained from this photo will be in history books. What they did to me will have a generational effect on my family and their livelihoods. I was mocked. I was called a thief by Jimmy Kimmel, John Krasinski, Jim Carrey. My face in the accusation of being a thief was shared globally for years. It still persists today, harming my chances to win my local election or lead a normal Life. Public school teachers told my children and their friends that their dad was a terrorist. My wife's reputation was dragged through the mud. Death threats caused her work to have to hire private security. University of South Florida denied my re entry into college. I had to fight to get my gun rights back. My children and myself were subjected to additional screenings by the tsa. My federal probation officer tried to stop me from speaking out on Tim Pool's program, warning that more death threats might come if I choose to talk. My attorney fees were over $100,000. I was fined $5,000. I lost five years of my life to date fighting the lies that they told about me. We spent an additional $150,000 in publicity trying to clear my name and restore my reputation. The DOJ could have chosen to release the evidence clearing my name, but withheld it. They maliciously charged me with felony theft. We lost things that can never be restored. But if they choose to do the right thing and restore the January Sixers, we can finally finish setting things. His story, of course, probably a little bit more, a little bit better known in light of the fact that he was photographed in this way. But there's lots of people who had their lives destroyed based on a government response to January 6th that was in no way commensurate with the activities that many of these individuals did on January 6th. Instead, they were turned into, like, some sort of national security threat that justified giving forever power to the Democrats and the government over the rest of our lives. There's a classic Rahm Emanuel moment. Never let a crisis go to waste. Exploit this for Democrat Party power forever. Crush our political opponents and demonize people for having a different opinion such that they get silenced. That was the whole scheme, and we've seen it play out for years. They tried to throw President Trump in jail on this basis through the unconstitutional Jack Smith garbage. So, yes, there were people who were maliciously attacked by the powers that be. And yes, they should be made whole. And no, you little bitches in the United States Senate should not be running away from it because you're so corrupt. It's so corrupt now. You're corrupt, you're corrupt. That's why we're throwing you out. That's why. Because we want people who are ready to tell the truth and get this country back on track. And all these guys, Bill Cassidy, Thumbelina, John Thune is recoiling. They're all very upset about this. Good, good. You're just demonstrating even further who you are and why we need a new class of people. In there to actually clean things up. I appreciate it. I appreciate the exposition that we're seeing right now. Uh, in fact, in a moment, I want to take you through what's going on with, with the Jack Smith case. That unconstitutional dude. Because we just got a major announcement from the Justice Department yesterday about the effort to hold these guys accountable. And it's a big one. It's a very big one. And I've got the details on it in just a moment. Hold on, hold on. We got a lot more to get to here on the program. Hey, let me tell you about Rumble Wallet. Great sponsor of our show. See terms@wallet.rumble.com. all right, thank you to Rumble Wallet. All right, so we do get charges announced yesterday from the Justice Department going after these, these people that were involved in the Jack Smith operation. Isn't this fun? We're not quite to the grand conspiracy case yet, but we're getting closer. Here's what. Here's how CNN wrote it up yesterday. Let's take a look. Florida prosecutor charged with emailing herself the most sought after documents from Jack Smith's Trump investigation. A former managing assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Florida has been charged with emailing herself the most sought after confidential Justice Department records in special counsel Jack Smith's investigation of President Trump, masquerading them as dessert recipes. Oh, that's what we would call consciousness of guilt, huh? Carmen Mercedes Lineberger, 62 years old, was charged with two counts of theft of government money or property valued less than $1,000. That's the statute. She entered a plea of not guilty this week. Yesterday, prosecutors alleged that Lineberger received an email on her Justice Department account in January of 2025. 2025. What was happening in January of 2025? Oh, that would be the final days of the Biden administration. January 20, of course, is the inauguration of the new president, President Trump, arriving January 2025. She's emailing herself all of the evidence with copies of a report entitled Volume 2 Report. It was related to a pending investigation. The Volume two report was the final finding of Smith's investigation of Trump and his alleged mishandling of classified documents. All that garbage. Of course, it was a paperwork dispute. It was just nonsense. Lineberger was in a supervisory role in the Southern District of Florida U.S. attorney's office based in Fort Pierce during the time of the investigation and prosecution of Trump. Guys, Southern District of Florida is precisely where the grand conspiracy case is playing out right now. That's the spot. They're looking at everything. While she was not on the special counsel team, the U.S. attorney's office played a supporting role to some parts of Smith's work. So they were working for Jack Smith. They're making a distinction without a difference here. Well, she wasn't technically on the team, but she was helping the team. She was working with Jack Smith. Okay, I don't care. She's working as a part of an unconstitutional operation to subvert the will of the American people. Trump's. They were talking about all this effort to go after Trump. The Justice Department alleges that In September of 2025, Lineberger compiled portions of an internal DOJ memorandum and transmitted messages she received on her government email account to her personal Hotmail account with the subject line, chocolate cake recipe. Chocolate cake recipe. What is it with these libs? And using food as Nicknames for their crimes. Lineberger is also accused of accessing the email she received earlier in the year with the volume two report in December 2025 and sharing it to her personal Gmail account with the file renamed Bundt Cake Recipe. District Judge Eileen Cannon barred the release of volume two in February of 2026. She wrote in a 15 page ruling that it's not customary for a prosecutor to release findings publicly for a case that was dismissed. Cannon had tossed the case against Trump before he was reelected, citing the appointment of Smith as a special counsel was unconstitutional. Now, of course, that's because it was unconstitutional. Everything about Jack Smith's appointment was unconstitutional. In fact, Justice Clarence Thomas had detected this in an earlier opinion that he had written in the United States Supreme Court going, I think this guy might be actually be unconstitutional. Like, who is this fraudster appearing before courts claiming that he can throw President Trump in jail. What the hell is this? Eileen Cannon comes through and absolutely slam dunks Jack Smith's case down. That's not going to happen anymore. And God bless her for that. Appreciate Eileen Cannon for just her integrity on the bench. That's been, that's, she's been one of the few bulwarks actually against the left's tyranny in the United States. And it's been great, it's been really nice to see her do that. But here you have this woman who's emailing herself all of these documents according to the Justice Department and then concealing it behind recipe names. How about no, how about like an end of this crap? The Justice Department has detected it, they found it, she's being prosecuted and now it's her turn in the hopper. Good, good. May we see more of this? That would be really a really big deal Now. Additionally, the United States Justice Department yesterday also announced a massive headline capturing story on a prosecution of Raul Castro. Raul Castro. This is the former President clearly still the power, the power center in Cuba, of Cuba. And this is related to his 1996 shoot down order of American citizens. Just private civilians flying in international waters. The Cuban government sends a couple of MIGs up at Raul Castro's direction to kill American citizens. And this has been going on for decades. The trauma from that attack has been continuing for decades with no consequences. Until now. Until now. We just got the Attorney General. Josh, do we have that? The Attorney General announcing. Actually, no. Standby. I have video of the Attorney General, but here's what happened. Yesterday the Attorney General announced that there is this indictment against Raul Castro for the murder of American Citizens, yesterday this came at to great joy to Cuban Americans who are loving this. Take a look at cut 5. Here are Cuban Americans who are reacting so well to it yesterday.
C
I'm very excited that after 30, after 30 plus years, we got a president who listened to us and care and knows the real threat that is Cuba to the national security.
A
The Trump administration is the only government that has given us hope and possibly
C
an opportunity to return to the old country.
A
Yeah, yeah. Wildly popular among Cuban Americans. They announced this yesterday down in Miami. The room was just full of standing ovations as these charges finally come through three decades later. It's so crazy that it took that long and yet here we are. In fact, why did it take so long? Here's Todd Blanche being asked that question yesterday. And also, what's going to happen next? Are we sending our guys in to Maduro Castro? Are we going to grab him? Well, here's how that question and answer went yesterday. Cut three, watch.
D
Key question, why now was there a breakthrough in this case? Can you speak to the evidence that leads you to believe that Raul Castro directly participated in the deaths of those Americans who were killed? And I have a follow up.
E
Well, I cannot explain or justify why now as opposed to two decades ago or 30 years ago when it happened. But what I can say is that you just heard a lot of people talk about a ton of work that the FBI did, state and local intelligence communities, our U.S. attorney and the attorney general's state attorney general's team. And that evidence was presented to a grand jury in late April and an indictment was returned. So I can't as far as what the evidence is, well, a lot of it's in the indictment and it would not be appropriate or fair to comment outside of the indictment about the evidence. But as you guys know, a grand jury is presented with evidence and then returns an indictment to the extent that they believe there's probable cause that a crime has been committed, which a grand jury certainly did here.
D
And quick follow up. What are the prospects that you could get Raul Castro to the United States to face justice given the situation there? And what steps are the US Willing to take to get him back here?
E
Well, we, we indict men outside of this country all the time. And there's all kinds of different ways that we get them here. The reason why we indict somebody is because we want them here to face justice in front of a jury of their peers.
A
All right, thank.
C
So we'll see.
A
He doesn't give a clear answer as to what comes Next, how we get him here, how we going? But that is the plan. They're gonna, they want to get him here. We've seen what that looks like with Maduro. Could we see it again with 94 year old Raul Castro? Possible. Lots of pressure being placed on Cuba right now. One last element about how long we've had an opportunity to grab the guy. Obama was hanging out with him back in 2016. Look at this. Look at cut six. Here he is hanging out at a baseball game with Raul Castro in Cuba. Watch.
C
The energy was there the minute you walked inside. It didn't take much to get the crowd going, except of course, the President
A
of the United States.
C
President Barack Obama with the first family.
A
And President Raul Castro walked out to a thunderous roar. The guy killed American citizens in 1996. There's the American president hanging out with him, waving, having a great time, eating a hot dog at a, at a Cuban baseball game. That Obama, typical stuff. All right, in a moment, Senator Rick Scott's gonna join us from Florida. We'll get his reaction to all of this ahead. I wanna thank the great sponsors who make the show possible. B
Well, yesterday was a big day. Nice to see you. Independence Day for Cuba. And hopefully we'll actually have a new independence for Cuba where they have elections, they have new leaders, they have democracy, and they have opportunities for all their families.
A
That question I played a moment ago, Senator, about why it took so long. Why does it take over three decades to bring charges against a man? Apparently we have got some pretty good evidence against. I saw USA Today report that we've like an 11 minute audio recording of him admitting that he ordered the killing of American citizens. Why did it take this long to start the wheels of justice?
B
Appeasement. We've had presidents that just appeased. You know, this president is, has the, has the guts to do the right thing. I mean, he's, he. This is protecting American lives. You know, you kill Americans, you should be indicted, you should go to prison. Same thing's happened to Maduro. So I'm very proud of him. I've been asking for this indictment for a long time, for years and years and years. And this is a big opportunity. I tell people, you know, we have Democrats to go down there and defend the regime and say, so this is, I'm going to show you a picture. This is the regime. This is not a holocaust survivor. This is a political prisoner recently released from the Cuban prisons. They starve these people to death. This guy's 45 years old. He looks 80. He has cancer. They don't give him any treatment. It's great Cuban healthcare, supposedly. And then they torture him. So any Democrat goes down there, which many of them have, and then there's a guy, Hassan Piker, who wants me and all capitalists murdered. He goes down there and defends the regime. This is. And they're like, who is the Democrat Party today? I mean, they're defending Iran, and they act like, oh, yeah, we shouldn't be so mean. No, I'm proud of what the President's doing. Indict these people that kill us. Protect American lives.
A
Yeah. They have more contempt for the United States than they do for demonic communist regimes, it turns out. Yeah, it's. It's unbelievable. And Cuba, of course, like, very close to the United States. I don't think. I think people don't realize in many cases how close Cuba actually is to us. How are your Cuban American constituents in Florida reacting to all of this? Senator Scott?
B
They are so happy. There's so much energy.
A
Yeah.
B
Cuba is 90 miles away. They've got a Chinese spy station now. They just bought 300 drones that could attack, you know, Florida.
A
They.
B
So. And they weaponized, you know, they've had, they send the criminals here. They, they host terrorists there. They're, they're, they're friends with all of our enemies. They're, you know, the government of Communist China, Iran, Hezbollah, Russia. So. So. But I mean, yeah, they're so excited now. I hope this is a path. I've been very vocal that in Venezuela, Del C. Rodriguez needs to step up, get these political prisoners released.
A
Yeah.
B
The people of Cuba, now, we will, we will support them, but, you know, they're gonna have to do what they've been doing, is be very vocal and step up, and we will do everything we can. I'm, I'm, I'm very optimistic and so are all my Cuban friends in Miami.
A
What's going to happen next? It feels like there's a lot of energy directed at Cuba that's just emerging in the last. Especially the last 24 hours, because Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, just released a message to the Cuban people in Spanish that they released from the State Department. Clearly, the president's talking a lot about Cuba lately. The pregnant suggestion that there might be a raid to grab Raul Castro and pull him out of the country. I think we had new sanctions announced this week against Cuban leaders on Monday. So it feels like a lot is happening right now. Where Is it leading to Senator?
B
Well, I hope that's exactly what happens. I hope they do what they did in Venezuela in GRAB or Castro and have him serve justice, have him go to trial. We have trials in this country. Have him go defend himself. But the Cuban regime has fallen apart. Socialism has never worked. They have no money, they have no petroleum. But the Castro family, they have billions of dollars, but they don't spend it on anybody but themselves. What happens under socialism is the leaders live in opulence and the people suffer. Just like in what's happening. The ayatollah lived in opulence until he was murdered or killed. So the same thing in Cuba. So I think he's going to get picked up. I think the people of Cuba are going to rise up. Yeah, and by the, by the way, the Cuban military, the strong Cuban military, that they're the ones who defended Maduro, I think they lasted, what, five seconds against the US Military in defending Maduro. So I don't think we have much. I don't think I have much of a military left.
A
I said the same thing earlier this week. I'm like, man, if. If the Maduro raid is any evidence, those Cubans are not going to be able to protect Raul Castro. We'll get him out easily.
B
He ought to move to Russia. He ought to do what Assad did, get the hell out as fast as he can, because he does. He wants to end up the rest of his life and his family end up the rest of their lives in American prisons, or do they want to go live in the hellhole of Russia?
A
Let me ask you now about what's going on in the United States Senate this week. First of all, on these elections, Bill Cassidy just got thrown out of office this week. The president endorses against him, and he gets thrown out. Very unusual for an incumbent senator of either party to get thrown out in the primary phase that just happened. John Cornyn looks like he's destined for a loss next week after President Trump endorsed Ken Paxton. And I'm seeing these headlines that the GOP in the Senate is, quote, reeling, that there's just that you've got people like, you know, John Thune and, and of course, Bill Cassidy and, and Thom Tillis, who are just all just losing their minds. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, what's happening right now in your conference? Are people really shocked that President Trump is looking for, you know, America first patriots to take these jobs?
B
I think what's happening is people realizing that the public wants a big change. They want things like the Save America act passed. They actually want us to be fiscally responsible, stop doing these budget deals that run up the debt to $40 trillion. They don't want earmarks. They want to pass legislation that's going to be good for them. They want a better economy. And so what's happening? There's a change. What's happening? The public is, has shown up. They're letting senators and House members know what they want. President Trump got elected. He got elected on a very specific mandate. And I think Republican senators and House members are all learning that we have to do these things, which I believe in what Trump's doing. Balance the budget, you know, we stop the nuclear weapons in Iran, bring democracy to Latin America. These are all things we all believe in.
A
But are they learning? That's the big question. Because like this week, for instance, in the wake of those elections and that election, news about Cornyn, now all of a sudden, I'm seeing that a bunch of Republicans are opposed to the security funding for the East Wing. They're like, I don't think we should fund the ballroom. Of course, it's so stupid to say it's just about funding the ballroom. It's literally the bunker underneath the ballroom. Everybody's just lying about the funding. And then the other piece of this is the weaponization fund, the anti weaponization fund that President Trump just announced, this big settlement fund for people who've been attacked by their government. Joe Biden was cutting $20 billion checks to left wing organizations from the EPA. And we're bitching about a $1.776 billion make people whole fund. It's so out of touch with the American people, and yet it's still happening this week in the Senate.
B
Well, look at what this president's gone through. What, three assassination attempts, they tried to put him in prison for the rest of his life. They tried to make sure he couldn't run for office again. I mean, so like, in my case, they, they targeted me after January 6th. They released my tax returns during the Biden years, during the Clinton years, when I went against Hillary Care. They targeted my company. So there's weaponization of the federal government. And by the way, why don't we just cut out all the earmarks? I mean, that would pay for this fund that's going to help people that have been, have been subject to weaponization of government in multiple ways. I mean, so why don't we, why don't we worry about, why don't we worry about stopping all the wasteful spending? But we Do. Let's take care of the people who have been treated like crap by our federal government. Our federal government is weaponized. They target us. They surveil us. Let's all wake up. This has got to change.
A
So what's happening today? Now we're getting the headlines. There's supposed to be funding, a funding dispute over whether or not ICE and Border Patrol, finally, the civilian workforce finally gets a little bit of money. They've been waiting for months to get paid at all. And that's the debate right now. And then there's a vote a Rama happening today in the Senate. Just take us in the mechanics of this, what's actually happening.
B
Here's what happened back. We shouldn't have done it, and I didn't support it. But back in January, there was an agreement that we would fund all the Democrat priorities. And then we didn't fund Homeland Security, which was crazy. Right? And so finally, most of Homeland Security got funded except two important parts, ICE and cbp. So the only way it's going to get funded is we have to do it through a reconciliation, which means we don't need any Democrat votes. But it does take 50 Republicans to vote for ICE and CBP funding. So that seems like that should be easy. Well, what the Democrats do is they get to put up any amendments they want so they can put up an amendment, say, oh, no money for the weaponization fund or no money for this or no money for that. And so. So that's what we're going to go through tonight. Hopefully all Republicans will stick together and say, look, we got to get CBP and ICE funded. I mean, the Democrats don't care about security. We do. And then we got to push back about all these crazy amendments that Democrats are going to do tonight because we've got to get this done. The Democrats don't care about funding important parts of government like Homeland Security. We do.
A
Okay. And then finally, you've got, obviously, this funding fight going on. But the big priority that I think a lot of American citizens like to see the Senate on is the Save America Act. We've been, we've been served a lot of really patronizing lip service on the subject, which is deeply frustrating. Clearly, we want it. It's obviously part of the President's thinking. He's not hiding it. In fact, I guarantee John Thune is really annoyed by how frequently President Trump keeps bringing it up on social media because he's like, I'm trying to get past this thing. The President doesn't want to get past it. Can we get this back on the floor in any capacity here for the Senate to actually debate this thing?
B
Absolutely. It looks like what we're going to have to do, though, is get rid of the filibuster, because the Democrats are using filibuster to stop all bills. So the filibuster is always just to be used to stop debate. Then we've always a 50% vote, but they're using it to stop the bill. So it looks like the only way it's going to get passed is one, we have to get rid of the filibuster. Number two is all Republicans have to come together and say, we're going to secure elections. I mean, this is not that hard. Show an ID to vote, you have to prove you're a citizen, register to vote. It's as simple as that. And we're all going to have to come together. So I tell everybody, call all senators, Republican and Democrat, and say, you have got to pass the Save America Act. If we all do this, keep doing this, we will get it passed.
A
But right now, we don't have 50 Republicans to do that to get rid of the filibuster, and we need a simple majority to get rid of the filibuster, which we don't have. Therefore, we have to fire people who stand in our way. Correct?
B
Well, elections matter. So everybody that's up for election, you ought to be asking, what are you going to do? Are you going to continue to allow the Democrats to just oppose everything? A year ago, you wouldn't have thought we got rid of the filibuster for nominations, but because the Democrats blocked all of Trump's nominees, we finally did that. I don't think we have a choice. Look, I think we ought to debate on the floor debate, spend hours, debate, I don't care. But when we finish, you go vote. I mean, so that's what we have to do. We do it. And I don't think there's any state government in this country that requires 60 votes for a bill. That's what the Democrats have used this to do. Say, nope, it's a super majority. And by the way, under Biden, often they got the Republicans they needed for some horrible bills like the CHIPS act and things like that, raising the debt ceiling. So we, we gotta, we've gotta start saying what is, what do we run on? Let's do that.
A
Finally, any, any energy to change the leadership in the Senate just yet. Are you detecting it?
B
Well, as you know, I ran, I ran because I thought McConnell was, was not Doing a great job. I ran with Corynan. Thune ran. I mean, I didn't win, but I think that what's changed is, you know, we're having better conversations. So hopefully what will happen is we start having those conversations and get some things done.
A
I hope so. We've got. We got a lot to get done. Senator Rick Scott, thank you very much from Florida. Good to have you back on the show, sir.
B
Stevens, Bye.
A
Bye. All right, there he is. Senator Rick Scott. This is. Yeah, huge, huge thing. They're going down in Florida right now with Raul Castro. Appreciate him coming on to talk about that, but, man, that. That Save America act course dominating all of our thinking. It is true, though. The math is what it is. And right now, which is we don't have 50. We don't have 50. So we just need to fire people. That's it. And we're watching as 20% of the Republican conference is now leaving. That's great. In the United States Senate. We are flipping guys like crazy out of the United States Senate. We need to send in backup. In the meantime, on the Save America act, you know, in. In lieu of actually getting it, which of course we should, but in lieu of actually getting it, our constant drumbeat on this subject is making it a part of the American DNA that this is the litmus test for whether or not we will allow you to occupy these positions in Congress. So we'll continue to stay in this fight, but I expect an actual big leadership fight coming up in January, regardless of how these elections go, win or lose, I expect a real leadership fight to come up in January with the new Congress, and it should happen like, you know, we tried soon. Okay, it's time to go get somebody else in there. Somebody you can actually twist the arms appropriately and get these jobs done. That needs to happen. I mean, even in this week, as President Trump's throwing Cornyn and Cassidy out of office, rightfully so. And then Thune is bitching and moaning about the fact that we've got a weaponization fund or that we have to fund the bunker underneath the ballroom. You heard me just say it just now. The bunker under the ballroom. Like, why am I seeing ballroom funding in every outlet and coming out of the mouths of these senators? They're saying it's billion dollars for the ballroom. It's not for the ballroom, you utter jackasses. It's for the bunker that goes underneath it. It's for the national security concerns that the military has. It's for the future President of the United States. It has Nothing to do with this President of the United States anyway. He's barely going to get a chance to use the ballroom or the bunker. Just the lies are just too much for me. We need a better cast here. We need a better team here. And the President's working on it. So I think we'll see. I think this is going to come to even more of a head. I don't think the President is backing down at all, which is really important. All right, let me see what else I have for you, because there's some other big elements we've got going on in the world right now. We've got Iran news emerging that, you know, this is the Iran story. It's. Everything's in fits and starts. It's like we're just hoping for a deal at any moment. Everything feels like it's constantly very imminent or it's falling apart. And then, of course, you see oil prices change. This week we saw oil prices come down. Future prices on oil came down again beneath $100 a barrel. And the reason for that is because the President has been making sounds like, hey, we're getting a lot closer to a deal. We're getting a lot closer to a deal. I really do hope that's the case because it'd be good to have a deal that gets rid of Iran's nuclear weapons. But the President says that we're sort of on the borderline right now. We're either at the borderline of a massive breakthrough or the other side of it is we're just gonna have to break Iran. Watch, here's cut seven. The President saying that we're on a dividing line right now.
F
You said yesterday you're about an hour
A
away from making a decision. Where does that stand today? Have you heard anything from them?
C
Very right on the borderline. Believe me, if we don't get the right answers, it goes very quickly. We're all ready to go. We have to get the right answers. It would have to be a complete, 100% good answers. And if we do, we save a lot of time, energy, and lives. Most importantly, how long would you wait? Could go very quickly or a few days. It could be a few days, but it could go back very quickly. Iran is a defeated nation. We're dealing with some people, and we're dealing. Actually, I must tell you, we're dealing with some very good people. We're dealing with people that are, I think, far more reasonable than the people that are really no longer with us. We're dealing with some people with talent, with Good brain power, and we're pretty impressed by it. So hopefully those people will make a deal that's going to be great for everybody. But I don't know. I don't know. I don't do. I get what I never back and forth.
A
I never get tired.
C
But what I like to do, if I. If I can save war by waiting a couple of days, or I can save people being killed by waiting a couple of days, I think it's a great thing to do.
A
You know, you get the impression that there are a lot of world leaders in our history, in world history, certainly even in American history, American presidents who kind of relish the power of killing people, they kind of like that they can do it and they exercise that power kind of recklessly. President Trump's attitude on this subject is, I don't want to have to do it and I don't want to do it. I'm going to resist doing it. Remember, he said he was going to blow up all the bridges and the power plants. He's been resisting that in Iran. Why? Because he really doesn't want to hurt the people of Iran. No interest in that. His thing is just, I got to solve this conflict. I got to get rid of this nuclear threat in Iran. That's his. That's his red line. That's his red line. And so he's in the midst of negotiating a deal here. Now, this is not always going to make Israel happy, by the way. In another sign this week that President Trump is not under Netanyahu's thumb, is is this headline that's been duplicated a couple of other places. The new Iran peace proposal had triggered a tense Trump Netanyahu phone call. Apparently, according to multiple outlets, President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu had what they're referring to as a, quote, difficult phone call on Tuesday night. A difficult phone call this difficult call Tuesday, three sources said. One source said Netanyahu's hair was on fire after the call. That's quite a call if your hair's on fire by the end of it. A revised peace memo drafted by Qatar and Pakistan with input from other regional mediators to try to bridge the gaps between the United States and Iran, says Axios. It comes with Trump vacillating over ordering a massive strike or holding out for a deal. Netanyahu is highly skeptical about the negotiations and wants to resume the war to further degrade Iran's military capabilities and weaken the regime by destroying its critical infrastructure. That would be power plants and bridges. The president doesn't want to do that. Apparently, they had a difficult call. In other words, he's not serving at Netanyahu's pleasure. In fact, the president says it's the inverse. Netanyahu is doing whatever I say. Watch cut eight. Here's the president yesterday. What have you said to Prime Minister Netanyahu about Iran and how long to hold off on strikes?
C
Fine. He'll do whatever I want him to do. He's very, very good man. He'll do whatever I want him to do. And he's a. He's a great guy. To me, he's a great guy. Don't forget, he was a wartime prime minister. And he's not treated right in Israel. In my opinion, I'm right now at 99% in Israel. I could run for prime minister. So maybe after I do this, I'll go to Israel, run for prime minister. I had a poll this morning. I'm 99%. So that's good. But no, he's a wartime prime minister, and I just don't think they treat him well.
A
Mr. President, what do you do?
C
I think they have a president over there that treats him very poorly.
A
You run the same page with him on Iran?
C
Yeah.
A
Does the president. Yeah, the president, of course, very gracious about Benjamin Netanyahu. But you hear him say up front, he's like, look, he's going to do whatever I want him to do. You know, obviously, the United States, the power, the power center in this relationship, and the president's goal just got to denuclearize Iran, got to get rid of the nukes. That's his red line. His red line is get rid of the nukes. Well, that makes a lot of sense. Now, you say that, but then we just got a report this morning, I'm going to show this to you. We just got a report this morning from Reuters. Apparently that Iran is announcing it has its own red lines, which is to keep its nuclear material. This is, this, this isn't going to work. If President Trump's red line is you don't keep it, and their red line is we do keep it, this thing's heading for disaster. Listen to this.
F
Well, we just got some news from Reuters. They're reporting that the supreme leader of Iran is saying, saying that the enriched uranium inside the country must stay inside of Iran. This is a position they've held since the very beginning of all of these negotiations. And they're not budging on this. As far as the.
B
That ain't going to work.
A
That's not going to work. That's not that's not going to work. The President's red line is literally get rid of your nuke material. And if they're saying our red line is keep it, we're going to blow something else up.
F
Is reporting today. So we'll see how it complicates matters in these latest rounds of talks. The President still though hopes that Iran will come to a deal, but he's warning that he's willing to ditch this six week cease fire and resume strikes if they give him the wrong answer.
A
Watch.
C
We're going to give this one shot. I'm in no hurry. You never think, oh, the midterms. I'm in a hurry. I'm in no hurry. I just. Ideally, I'd like to see few people killed as opposed to a lot. We can do it either way, but, but I'd like to see few people killed.
A
What if we just set up some sort of like, you're not allowed to go there at all arrangement like it's not really a deal. We just tell them like, hey, you know that enriched uranium that's been buried under the ground for, you know, after, after last year, after we blew it up, if we see you go close to that, we'll kill you, but other than that, you're good to go. And what if that was the deal? It's just like, you know, we, we pull up stakes, we open up the Strait of Hormuz. We just like any Iranian ship that tries to, to lay mines, we just blow it up. And then anybody who tries to get close to the enriched uranium, we blow them up. And then, you know, the rest is like, you can figure it out from there. What if that was the deal? I don't know. We'll see. We'll see what happens. But the President has been pretty clear. He's. Everything else is negotiable. Nukes, not negotiable. How many times do I have to say this? Do they get, did they get this program in Iran? Can we send it over there? Can they, can, can the gay deformed Ayatollah watch the show, please? This is the first time I've been appealing for the gay deformed Ayatollah to watch the show. The gay deformed Supreme Leader. It'd be really helpful if you would watch this program and let me just explain it to you as carefully as I can, as clearly as I can. No nukes and this all ends. No nukes and this all ends. All right, See if somebody can get that to him. I know he's, he's difficult to reach. Yeah. Anyway, that's it. That's all I've got to say today, as far as I'm concerned. Actually, no, I've got a lot more to say today. We're going to be getting into it on. On the. On the. On the VIN show. Actually, one more thing before I leave. Now that I'm on the issue, meaning now that my brain has thought about it, I was talking to you about James Talafrico earlier. You know, the guy who's running in Texas against Ken Paxton after he wins next week. Yesterday, Ken Paxton was apparently workshopping what to call this guy. They were workshopping his nickname. Watch this as Ken Paxton asks the audience what they should call James Talarico. Watch this. Cut to six. Ginder. Jimmy. Okay, that's the first idea. Madison had an idea. Come here, Madison. You have to say it the way we talked about, not the whole.
F
Yeah, Low T. Talarico.
A
That's good. Low tea. That's kind of like low energy, Jeff, isn't it? Okay, and then how about. I've got one more Hofu Talarico, I think you won. It's perfectly. Perfectly good name. Low T. Talarico. It's not great, though. Be honest. It's not great. Talafrico is clearly the winner in this conversation. I don't even know why this is really being debated at all. This should not be a debate. The guy is Talafrico. He's a total freak. Talafrico. It just rolls off the tongue. It's perfect. Destroy him with Talafrico. I've already spoken on this issue. I can't even believe it's being debated, actually. It's like, can you believe this chat? The disrespect that I am served. I told you months ago this guy was Talaf Rico. And they're still talking about it. But whatever, that's not going to deter me. I still want Ken Paxton to win, so I'm not going to hold it against him. But come on, Ken, get on board. Everybody else's all right, as always. The big national radio show coming up today, the VIN Show.com for your local radio listings. You can also check out the rumble stream of our radio show. Vince’s commentary is sharp, opinionated, and unabashedly pro-Trump/MAGA, blending humor, indignation, and detailed policy critique. The interviews and call-in audio segments retain a mix of seriousness (in discussing human rights abuses, justice for American deaths) and Vince’s trademark sarcasm and irreverence when discussing political rivals or denouncing mainstream narratives.
This episode encapsulates a pivotal moment: the unprecedented DOJ indictment of Raul Castro, shifts within the Senate GOP, and the ongoing struggle between populist MAGA conservatism and establishment Republicanism. Senator Rick Scott’s appearance underscores Florida’s unique position in the national conversation, especially with the Cuban-American community energized by Trump’s latest move. The episode ends with Vince doubling down on the importance of defeating internal opposition in the Senate to pass the Save America Act and fulfill Trump’s legislative agenda.
