Let me just start with the thing that you and I have been working so feverishly to achieve. The Save America Act. We want the SAVE Act. We want secure elections in the United States of America. And so my perpetual concern about the SAVE act animates all of my requests to the White House. What are you doing? What are you doing? Is this thing coming? Is this thing coming? I know it's not all up to the White House. It's the Senate who's really standing in the way. But insofar as anybody can be addressed, let's address the President of the United States. Let's get an update from him. And sure enough, our own White House correspondent, Reagan Reese, just asked Caroline Levitt all about it yesterday. Check out that moment. Watch.
B
SAVE act is absolutely still a priority for this president and the administration. The focus, of course, of much of the President's time right now is on ensuring the success of Operation Epic Fury. But the President can walk and chew gum at the same time, and he's very much continuing to focus on the issues that matter here at home for the American people, including the passage of the. Including on bringing down the cost of living, which is why you'll see the president in about an hour and a half at the Ratepayer Protection Pledge Roundtable, where he will be sitting with big tech companies, with AI companies who are building in communities across the country and have pledged to pick up the cost of the electricity tab in these small towns and communities across the country, which is a great thing for American consumers. So you'll be hearing from the President directly on this very important domestic agenda item later this afternoon. And it's something that he mentioned in his State of Union address. Check it off the list as another promise made and kept by this president.
A
All right, so the question is like, look, I mean, this is what, what Reagan asked. She says, look, everything's wall to wall on Iran right now. But at the end of last week, you know, the big story was the SAVE Act. What's the deal with this? Is it still going to be a priority for the president? And she said, absolutely, it remains a Top priority for President Trump, which is good news because he has to keep placing pressure on the United States Senate alongside the rest of us to get it passed. Now, the White House also just released a whole suite of data about the Save act just to convey to you just how serious this thing is to the American people. They say another poll is showing massive support for the Save America Act. And this polling comes to us from the Harvard Harris people and it says the following. You ready? 71% of Americans support the Save America Act. 71% percent. That includes 69% of independents. Very nice. And half of rank and file Democrats. That's a lot of people. It cuts across all parties. 81% of Americans favor requiring ID. That's backed by 79% of independents and 70% of Democrats. 80% of Americans want states to purge noncitizens from the voter rolls. That's, by the way, that's a feature of the Save America Act. It's not one. We've probably underemphasized that that's a huge feature of the Save America Act. The non citizens being purged from the voter rolls. 75% support proof of citizenship to vote, a key plank in the Save America act, and 61% support sharing unredacted voting rolls with the Department of Homeland Security. Why would that even be controversial? The idea that the federal government would be able to. What would that. There's an expression we use sometimes when you're dealing with something technical. We could de dupe. We could de dupe the voting rolls. We could get rid of the. The duplicates. If somebody's registered to vote in two places. Stop that. We gotta stop that. That can't happen. You can only be registered to vote in one spot. You know, if it's a dead person on the voting rolls, you know, check the vital records and be like, that guy's dead. Remove them from the voting rolls. Keep them clean, keep them credible. Obviously. Let's see, what else do they have in this 60% called the save America Act a common sense way to stop fraud and protect the security of our elections. 58% of Americans do recognize that there's at least some voter fraud in the United States. What an expression. They recognize that there's at least some voter fraud in the United States. 58%. In case you're wondering how the information war is going, only 58% of Americans are aware that. That voter fraud exists. Yeah, of course it exists. It's like saying, is there such a thing as a ufo? Yeah. If it's unidentified it's an unidentified flying object. There's no debate over that. What do you mean? Yeah, I'm not sure UFOs exist. Of course they exist. If you don't know what they are, they're UFOs. But voter fraud definitely exists. We've seen, we've seen. We just saw prosecutions this week on voter fraud of a bunch of Democrats. Voter fraud exists. 58% recognize it. Let's get that number up. 85% agree that only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections. 85. 85%. Who are the other 15%? All Democrats, including four. 84% of independents and 82% of Democrats. So that's the, that's the update there. But, you know, look, that's, that's really good. And they say this aligns with a bunch of other data we've seen. Pew says 83% of Americans favor voter ID. Gallup, 84% support voter voter ID. Rasmussen, 75% support voter ID. And Heritage Action, the great Heritage Action, they see strong majorities across five different battleground states all support the Save America Act. So the electoral incentives are all there. If, if you're one of these, like, you know, establishment Republicans, finger the wind, what do the voters want? You know, is it, is this going to help me in my election? Well, how about pay attention to the fact that the overwhelming majority of the American public want this. There's no peril here. This is not controversial. There's no downside to this except for you having to do your job. If that's the downside, which apparently it is. That's the thing that's keeping Republican senators away from showing up on the floor, forcing a speaking filibuster, getting the Save America act passed. It's nuts. I will say that I am super encouraged this week that you get something like this from the White House. Thank you, as always, to the White House for answering our questions. You know, it's great that we have a White House correspondent there, Reagan, Reese, who can do this. And it's also very encouraging that I'm watching so many of my conservative friends just keep the drumbeat alive. You see all those tweets, people saying, today's a great day to pass the SAVE Act. Today's a great day to pass the SAVE Act. It's phenomenal. I've been. I love them all. I just love everybody staying in the fight. Because the Iran story is big, no question. The Iran story is a huge, consequential, world shifting story. And while that's going on, it's Completely saturating so much of the information and news cycle. But there is a category in Washington, in fact, a huge percentage of the figures who are in Washington right now who want the Iran story to absolutely suffocate. The Save America act story. Can't let it happen. Gotta keep it alive. Gotta keep it alive. We've made a lot of progress so far. Let's stay in the fight. So thank you for all of you who've done that. That's. That's right. And Pleb Fandango says, and tomorrow is a great day to go vote no on the redistricting scheme in Virginia. Yes, that's true. Tomorrow begins early voting in Virginia. Democrats are trying to rig the whole damn election in the state right now to steal the entire United States House of Representatives. I can't even begin to emphasize the scale of this problem in Virginia. Look at you. You just took me off my. Like I'm going off in a different direction. I've got, I've got everything. We, we have so many things we've got to do to save our country that are constantly coming at us. So because I just got pulled off, I got him. Sometimes when I look at the chat, my mind just goes instantly to the topic that you're trying to draw me to. I don't. Maybe I shouldn't do that because it just throws me off my flow. But I'm going to flow right into something else right now. Thank you. Pleb Fandango. You did this. Just so you know. You did this, this thing in Virginia. They're trying to steal all the congressional seats right now. It's six. Five. Six Democrats, five Republicans. They want to change Democrats do to 10 Democrats, one Republican before the midterms. And Abigail freaking Spanberger, the new governor of Virginia. The Democrat, the person who was described as a moderate, just put a video out just a few minutes ago, 51 minutes ago. the time that I'm talking to you right now at 8:12am Eastern Time. And she declared that she is voting, quote, yes, on Virginia's redistricting amendment. This is a referendum hotly contested. It's completely unconstitutional. To be clear, courts have already found that. But other court decisions have worked in the favor of Democrats this week, meaning that this nonsensical, corrupt, vote rigging referendum can move forward. It's a referendum on the ballot. Virginians on the ballot is going to say this. Do you want to restore fairness to elections? Yes or no? Vote no. They're lying to you. It's not restoring fairness. It's Stripping fairness from elections. It's rigging the entire map in Virginia in order to just hand the United States House of Representatives right to Democrats. I mean, think about what happened in Indiana. We just saw it happen in Indiana recently. You know, when we're asking Republicans to fight back against all of these Democrat rigging operations across the whole country, they're doing it everywhere. In fact, Democrats have rigged congressional maps so consequentially in so many blue states, they don't even have seats left to steal. They've stolen all of them. In Maryland, they're trying to steal the last Republican seat right now that they've stolen so many seats that it doesn't actually represent the population of the states. And so Republicans, to the extent that they've mounted any fight whatsoever, they've done it a little bit in Texas, fighting back. And of course, the Texas thing is being used by the left as, oh, look what Republicans are trying to do. Trying to. No, no. Republicans are the ones who have laid down their arms for years. Finally, President Trump gets Texas to fight back. He asked Indiana to fight back. Indiana Republicans sit on their fat asses covering, you know, just not doing anything to help us, which is crazy. And of course, all of those guys should be primaried right the hell out of office. And now in Virginia, they're trying to do it again and with huge numbers. And so here's Abigail Spanberger dressing this up in the language of, oh, we're just doing this because Republicans were mean. Watch this. Here's Abigail Spanberger this morning in a goofy video.
B
Hello, I'm Governor Abigail Spanberger, and I'm voting yes on Virginia's redistricting amendment. Here's why. I supported the formation of Virginia's bipartisan redistricting commission in 2020. And that support has not changed. What has changed is what we're seeing in states across the country and a president who says that he's entitled to more Republican seats before this year's midterms.
A
That's a direct quote entitled the Democrats have stolen so many congressional seats. Remember what happened in the wake of the 2020 census? Democrat states were given unearned congressional seats. They were given more seats than they deserved. Republicans were. Republican states were given fewer seats than they actually deserved. That happened in the wake of the 2020 census. Not to mention all of the tens of millions of illegal aliens who are living in our country right now concentrated in blue states giving Democrats unearned congressional seats by virtue of their human bodies being there. And the census making no distinction between American Citizens and illegal aliens. The entire ball game is rigged for Democrats right now, and she's pretending like that. No, everything is totally fine. President Trump is trying to steal elections. She's lying.
B
And Virginia has the opportunity to take action in response. And our approach is different. First, it's temporary. Second, it's directly in response to what other states decide to do.
A
It's just a temporary act of tyranny. We promise we won't be tyrannical in the future. You really believe that?
B
Third, and most importantly for me, it preserves Virginia's fair redistricting process into the future. At this extraordinary moment, I urge all Virginia to join me in voting yes by April 21st.
A
And I urge all Virginians to join me in voting hell no. It'll just say no. You just check the no box. Vote no for rigging Virginia's elections and rigging the entire United States House of Representatives. This is why this is not merely a story for my Virginia audience, which of course, it is. It's a story for our whole country. Democrats are trying to use Virginia, this great historic state, as a means to steal the entire United States House of Representatives this year. Don't let them do it, Virginia. Vote no. Vote no. Early voting Begins tomorrow, Friday, March 6th. It runs through April 21st. Get to the polls as quickly as humanly possible and make sure your vote is registered as a no. Don't let anybody else show up and pretend to be you. Don't let anybody try and claim your vote. Take the vote as quickly as possible. Vote no. And get everybody else you know to do it, too. And if you know people in Virginia, please contact them right now and tell them you have to vote tomorrow, March 6th. You have to vote and then bother them throughout the entire voting period. Have you voted yet? Did you vote yet? Did you actually get your vote in yet? That actually works, by the way. You just keep asking people if they voted yet until they actually do, because they want you to stop asking. All right, fine. Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes. All right. Coming up, more on elections in the country. Because this week we had the big primary results in Texas. I talked to you at some length about them yesterday, and I think I said on the podcast or the Rand or the radio show, either way, I know I've said these words that I kind of expected President Trump might sit out the Texas Republican runoff between John Cornyn and Ken Paxton. But then all of a sudden, yesterday, he rolled out a ready to explode grenade. I guess I'm not sure that metaphor exactly works, but the point Is the president jumped in yesterday and said my endorsement's on the way. Okay, let's talk about what that means. Coming up on this edition, events. Hey, have you heard about Gold Belly by any chance? An amazing operation, a delicious operation. I love Gold Belly. So the president jumps in yesterday on Truth Social and he goes, okay, look, the primary's done in Texas. And remember, in Texas, if you don't get 50% of the vote, at least it has to a runoff between the top two opponents, top two vote getters. Well, in this case, the top two vote getters are the incumbent, John Cornyn and Ken Paxton, the challenger. And President Trump just announced that he's about to make an endorsement in the race. He said the Republican primary race is over. It was great. It was a state I love. I won it three times in record numbers. But it can't be allowed to go on any longer. It's gotta stop. Now we have an easy to beat radical left opponent. He's talking about James Talafrico. You know that guy James, He's a total freak. The guy's a left wing radical whack job who says God is non binary. God loves abortion. He says that we need A welcome mat on our border. He's. He's insane, that James Talafrica. So President Trump says, look, he's very easy to beat. We've got to totally focus on putting him away quickly and decisively. Both John and Ken ran great races, but not good enough. Not good enough meaning neither of them got the 50% that you need to avoid a runoff. Now, this one must be perfect. My endorsements within the Republican Party have been virtually insurmountable. It is such an honor to realize and say that almost everyone I endorse wins and wins by a lot, especially in Texas. I will be making my endorsement soon and will be asking the candidate that I don't endorse to immediately drop out of the race. Is that fair? We must win in November. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President DONALD J. Trump. Okay, so a couple things going on here. One, the president is under a lot of pressure right now. He's under a lot of pressure from John Thune and the establishment Republicans to, To give an endorsement to the. To. To Cornyn, to support Cornyn. Do I have. Did I ask you guys to pull that clip today? I want to see. I want to see if I have that. I think I do have it. Here is Thune. Let me pull this up. Yeah, no, that's right. Here it is. He's issuing a public call for John Cornyn to get the Trump nod. Here is John Thune on Fox yesterday demanding, well, urging this very thing from the President of the United States. Take a listen. I've spoken with the president already today about Texas, and I'm certainly hopeful, I think is probably. You know, Martha, I made no secret of the fact that I hope the president will endorse John Cornyn. He is an incredibly effective senator for the state of Texas, strong conservative voice here in the United States Senate, and represents by far our very best hope of making sure that Texas stays red in November in that Senate election. And so we'll see. Ultimately, the president, you know, he makes his own decisions, but I've certainly weighed in many a time, many times, I should say, in support of Senator Cornyn. And I believe he is not only going to win the primary, but the general election in November. All right, so he's saying, look, the guy's very electable. Let's keep him around. He's my establishment bro. And I keep telling President Trump that he should make this endorsement for Cornyn. Now, what do the people want? What does Trump's base want? The answer to that is Paxton. They want Ken Paxton and if you want proof of this, look no further than the response to President Trump's post on Truth Social. Look at this. I'm just going into this organically here just to show you, like right now, as I'm staring at the Truth Social post, I looked at this yesterday after President Trump posted this. Everybody wants Paxton. Look. Oh, the first one, we want Ken Paxton. Second one, John Cornyn's a rhino. Third one, Texas needs Ken Paxton. Fourth, ask Cornyn to drop out. Paxton is maga. Fifth, Ken Paxton has done more for the people of Texas. Six, Texans don't want Cornyn. Seven, John Cornyn is a rhino, not maga. We need Ken Paxton to fight for Texas in America. Make it Ken Paxton. Please endorse Ken Paxton. I pray you pick Ken Paxton on Ken Paxton only. Are you seeing this? I'm not. I didn't set this up. I'm just telling you this is what's on Truth Social right now. This it. Paxton. Paxton. Paxton. We need Paxton. TP USA endorses Paxton. We want Paxton. Paxton. It's. Everybody's saying they want Paxton. So, in other words, I, I'm interested to know, and I, and I posted about this yesterday. I'm interested to know whether or not President Trump is using this Truth Social post as a straw poll. Is he now? By the time you hear this podcast, this may be a Resolved question. President Trump has indicated he's going to make an endorsement. So, you know, I can't. I can't control the passage of time. You know, by the time you hear this, he may have made an endorsement and much of this will be rendered moot. But I do wonder to what extent this is a straw poll right now, because you know that President Trump does like focus grouping questions with his base. He likes going out on rally stages and talking to the crowd, finding out what they're interested in. You remember that famous. I don't know if you recall the. The origin story of Drain the Swamp, but Drain the Swamp was not President Trump's idea. It was the idea of somebody else on his campaign. And he wasn't very keen on it at first. He thought maybe he thought it sounded a little lame or hokey or something. But he goes out on a rally stage and he uses the expression drain the swamp. And the crowd loved it. This rally crowd, his base, loved Drain the Swamp. And you can see why Drain the swamp. Because we all see Washington's a swamp. It's a sewer. We need to drain it. This went over very well with the crowd, and President Trump would Later go on to tell Rally Stages that, hey, that wasn't my idea, but as soon as I said it, you guys loved it. So that's why I'm using it, because it's really effective and you love it, so I'm gonna use it. The President does that on all sorts of things. He takes the temperature of his base, tries to figure out what they're interested in, and tries to pursue things as best he can towards the goals he has in mind and what his base wants him to do. The guys, the people who brought him to the dance, the guys who sent him there, I believe that this is. That the President does pay attention to the feedback he's getting on Truth Social. And so if that means anything to you, you may want to add your voice to the conversation right now, because he has not yet, as of this morning, made his decision in that race. But I will say my instincts tell me that he's very likely to pick Cornyn. This is just. I'm just going off my gut instinct here. My instincts tell me that this pressure by John Thune and the people around him and trying to convince the President that Cornyn's the guy who's the surefire bet. He's the incumbent. He's been there for many terms. And so that means, you know, in November, he'll be the one who can easily win. You know, let's not roll the dice on Ken Paxton. That may play a role. There may also be some behind the scenes horse trading going on that will become more clear in the days ahead. For instance, there's a lot of speculation right now that perhaps the President is trading the Cornyn endorsement for the Save America act, actually getting a real floor vote. In other words, telling Thune, hey, I'll support your guy, but you have to deliver for me. Now, I just want to remind people there have been times that Republican leadership has made promises to President Trump and then they rug pulled him at the last second. They failed him in the first term. He ran into this where he got all sorts of promises from Congress about securing our border and things, and the President would play along with them and then they would rug pull him. Can't let that happen. Can't let that happen. So we're going to keep an eye on this, but it's not. It's not done yet. I mean, the President has not made an endorsement yet, but it is a seismic thing that he's about to make an endorsement finally in this race. Paxton just did an interview with Just the News overnight, and he was Asked about this, are you going to bow out of the race if President Trump endorses Cornyn? And I don't know if this is gonna play a factor in President Trump's math here, but Paxton just said, no, I'm not going anywhere. Take a look at this on just the news. Ken Paxton interview last night. Watch.
C
Yes, it was. And by the way, I spent 5 million versus 100. And there've only been two U.S. senators that I know of that lost a primary in the last 40 or so years because the finance rules are so rigged in favor of the incumbents and so limited for challengers. But it's, you know, I think Richard Luger lost and Bob Bennett lost to Mike Lee. So it's a pretty unusual thing to take on an incumbent and actually do well against them. And we're going to do really well in the runoff.
A
So when you look at the vote, 60% of the people who voted last night voted against Cornine, though he's been in office for a long, long time. That's a huge detail. By the way, that the opposition vote against cornyn was dramatic. 60% of the vote go to Wesley Hunt, who was in third place, and Ken Paxton. So people definitely want a change in Texas. Republicans want a change in Texas. So if the president's math is electability, Cornyn's the incumbent and couldn't break 50%. That doesn't bode well for November decades. What do you make of that? What message does that send?
D
And what message do you want to
A
send to the Republican base state? President Trump said he's going to make an endorsement. Whoever he does endure should drop out. I have a funny feeling you don't drop out under any circumstance.
C
No, I'm staying in this race. I owe it to the people of Texas. I've spent a year of my life campaigning against John Cornyn because John has not represented the people of Texas well. He sided with Joe Biden on Second Amendment restrictions, sided with Joe Biden on bringing Afghan refugees to settle here without vetting them. But he's been against Trump in both of his elections. Said he shouldn't run last time that his day had passed. And of course, he fought him on the border wall. He's been an amnesty guy. Everything that Trump stood for, John Cornyn's fought. Yeah, but he was a big help to Joe Biden. The people of Texas, at least the Republicans, would like something different.
A
All right, so he says, I'm staying in the race. Even if the president endorses Cornyn, I'm staying In this race for the runoff. Now, the reality is, like, it'll just mean that there's gonna be a bit of a bruising runoff. If both of these guys stand, there's gonna be a bruising runoff. They're going to spend some money attacking each other. You may, in the end, chip away at some of their support. But then by the time we move on to the general election, it's just going to be one candidate on the ballot. It'll be one against James Talafranco. So regardless of the sequence of events, you're only going to have one Republican candidate on that ballot against James Talafrico coming up in November. That's. That's just the plain reality here. So Ken Paxton indicating he's staying in. And you heard Paxton say in that interview with John Solomon, and just the news that, you know, Cornyn hasn't exactly been a Trump guy. I say he hasn't exactly. I'm understating it. He straight up said that Donald Trump is done for in 2023. He said, Donald Trump can't win. Can't win. Our Sean Davis posting about this yesterday. Trump can't win in 2024, says Texas Senator John Cornyn, quote, trump's time has passed him by. Quote, I don't think President Trump understands that when you run in a general election, you have to appeal to voters beyond your base. What do you mean he doesn't understand? That's literally what he did in 2024. He grew the base that supported him, cutting across all demographics now, Trump voters. Cornyn saying Trump can't win. Trump can't win. All right, Vince, but, you know, maybe you're being a little unfair. Maybe his powers of political predictive capabilities aren't very good. Maybe that's the issue here. But what about his policies? Well, his policies also suck, to be honest with you. Listen, look at this. This is from the Project for Immigration Reform. They highlighted an interview that he just did with Politico recently. And in the interview, Cornyn indicated that the reason he wants to serve another term is to help, quote, fix our broken immigration system, end quote. And then he goes on to say that he wants a pathway to citizenship for 1.8 million DACA recipients. This would be illegal aliens. He says that President Trump's a builder. He understands that. So the reason you want to stay in Congress is for amnesty. That's the reason I would want you out of Congress. I don't. We don't need an amnesty. We need an amnesty like we need a hole in the head. We need somebody like Ken Paxton again. It'll be up to the president. He's got a far more consequential endorsement than I do. But the president hasn't yet made the decision as of this morning, 8:33am maybe he will imminently. But in the meantime, if you've got the president's ear or you've got the replies on Truth Social, let him know how you feel. He pays attention to that stuff. All right. More ahead on this edition of vince, We've got a lot more to dive into. We could, we could go in so many directions. We could go in so many directions. They have a bungee. No army blend. Now they're locked in. They're locked in. It's very great. Okay, one more piece of electoral politics for you and then I'll. And then I'll barrel forward into the absolute jackals in Minnesota who've been stealing all of our money. The big Senate story overnight is that Montana Republican Senator Steve Gaines just announced that he's retiring from the Senate. This guy's an establishment guy. We're dealing with another establishment guy. He's retiring, but this is the way he retired. A little bit of. I mean, this. It's annoying. Candidly, I don't. I don't love the way this went down. Steve Danes. According to local reporter Jonathan Amberian from KTVH News out of Montana, Steve Danes withdrew just before the 5pm deadline last night. And right before he withdrew, the U.S. attorney for Montana, Kurt Almi, submitted his package to run for Senate. Like seconds before. So you see what happens right before the filing deadline when like everybody thinks the incumbent is staying in the race. Steve Danes withdraws. Kurt Almi files literally minutes before that. And now the filing deadline's over. That was not, it wasn't like an open primary process. That was just a hand picked replacement. Like Steve Daines just picked his own guy, the U.S. attorney. Now, Kurt Almi might be fantastic. I don't know the answer to this. I'm helped a little bit by the fact that President Trump basically jumped in immediately. He jumped in immediately last night and he thanked Steve Daines of Montana for being a great United states senator, serving 12 years in the Senate. He says his term, he's decided to pass the torch to Kurt Almi. And he said that the reason he's very happy about this is because Kurt has the highest level of aptitude and talent and he's exceptional and therefore he gets his endorsement. So he's endorsing Kurt Almi. He's an exceptional person. He'll make a fantastic senator from the great state of Montana. He will not let you down. So Montana, for those of you in Montana, suddenly you've got a new Republican on the ticket. Guy who squeaks in at the last second before the filing deadline. That's, that's by design. Daines picks his own guy. President Trump endorses the guy. He's currently the U.S. attorney. He was the U.S. attorney in Montana during Trump's first term. He is the U.S. attorney again during Trump's second term. President Trump clearly has a lot of trust in this guy to be a prosecutor in his Justice Department. So we'll see. There's a. That's. But that's, that's the guy. So just so you know, this is just basic electoral news here, that that's the way things shook out overnight. President Trump trying to give an instant endorsement, trying to settle down anybody who has concerns about the way this was done. I find it annoying, though. I think if you're gonna run for office, especially in a primary phase, you gotta make your case, you know, and give people the opportunity to throw their hat in the ring too. Maybe another, a better person can come along, but a bit of an establishment stunned here by Steve Daines and the President's being gracious about it. Now, again, just to remind you how establishment he is, Daines just last week was warning against using the talking filibuster to get the SAVE act passed. He told the Daily Caller News foundation that, well, it's fraught with peril. That's what that was. His quote is fraught with peril. You dig into the reality of this process. We realize it's not going to be a good strategy. He says it's nonsense. It's the best strategy we have right now. These are the rules of the Senate. Follow them. Get the Save America act passed. So that's the Steve Dane story again, breaking overnight. Let's move on now to Minnesota. I love. We hit all these different states. Virginia, we got Texas. We got Montana. Let's do Minnesota now. Minnesota, this is where the fraud's been happening. Outrageous. Fraud has been happening. You've been robbed blind. Minnesotans have been robbed even more. So $20 billion right out the door because tampon Tim Walls and company just let it happen. So the Oversight Committee yesterday hauls in all these Democrats, and it's immediately all the Democrats who are on the committee try kicking up sand in order to stop the whole hearing from demonstrating any sort of meaningful consequences. So there was a Democrat congresswoman yesterday. Her name's Yassamine Ansari. Democrat Congresswoman Yasmine Ansari. She said yesterday, it is outrageous that we are focused on. What is this again? Fraud. Focused on fraud. Take a look. Cut to recognize this, Ms. Ansari.
B
Mr. Chairman, it's outrageous that this is what we're choosing to spend our time on. On the Oversight Committee at the first one.
A
Fraud.
B
The first one, yes.
A
Fraud. Because let's talk about fraud. It's outrageous that we're focused on fraud. And she goes, yes, yes, fraud. These people. These people. Not on your side. As my great friend Chris Plant says, they're not on your side. They're not on your side at all. Brandon Gill, who's wonderful. Speaking of Texas, Brandon Gill cornered Tampon Tim yesterday. He did a great job, as he always does, this guy. We should just have every congressional hearing conducted by Brandon Gill. Here's Brandon Gill confronting Tampon Tim about how fraudsters were completely protected in the state by phony charges of racism. If you dared to investigate them. Watch this. Cut through.
D
Would you agree that as governor, ultimately you're responsible if tax dollars are defrauded?
C
Yes, I would agree.
D
Would you also agree that calling somebody racist is a serious accusation?
A
If they are racist, I think it's probably.
D
I'm asking you, is that a serious accusation to make about somebody?
A
I think it's just an observation of reality.
D
All right, well, let's go there. Is it racist for a government official to identify fraud? No. No. Is it Islamophobic to identify fraud? To identify fraud?
A
No. I don't believe it would be. How.
D
How come multiple whistleblowers have said that your administration told them not to say anything about widespread fraud across multiple agencies because doing so would be considered racist or Islamophobic.
A
I can't speak to it because it's not anything I would say.
C
Well, that.
D
That's what your administration has said and has told whistleblowers. And as you just testified, the buck stops with you. It's what you stated in your. In your statement whenever you announced you weren't running again.
A
Yeah, no, he's totally right about that. All of the people who were trying to look into the Somali fraud going on in Minnesota were being waved off. Don't you dare. That's racist. Don't you look at their skin color, protects them. You can break laws based on your skin color. That's the world the left has built. They've built a caste system where they'll check your skin color and then, well, sorry, you broke the law. You'll be held accountable. Oh, wait, you broke the law. Different skin color. You're totally fine. You can get away with it. Nope. Justice should be blind in the United States of America, not blind in Minnesota. Totally corrupt in Minnesota because of Tim Walls and Keith Ellison and Jacob Fry. So Brandon Gill corners him about what happened to the whistleblowers. In fact, specifically, when it comes to the whistleblowers, the reality is that the Tampon Tim Walls administration destroyed their lives because they came forward with these very credible allegations about fraud which have been proven out by all of the prosecutions and convictions. We've seen over 100 people convicted for fraud in Minnesota, almost all of them Somali, now behind bars. And that's because of what Tampon Tim did. Take a look here about the whistleblowers and what Tampon Tim did to them.
D
Cut for Bernstein, who again, has stated that she is a Democrat. She's only ever voted Democrat.
A
It doesn't matter whether she's Democrat or Republican.
D
Campaign for trying to make leadership aware of illegal contracting practices. Why do you think that happened?
A
I can't speak to that Congressman, because we don't do it. You just don't.
D
You don't know anything.
A
I do know that it. That we don't. We have strong whistleblower protections, and I can't speak to that.
D
That's not what the whistleblowers are saying. According to another report, quote, there's just a continuous effort to stifle you, to shut you up, and it's impossible to overcome your administration's response to Whistleblowers has also been described as, quote, nearly unbearable retaliation. We've heard claims that, quote, they've been denied vacations, promotions and that it's hurt people's careers to speak out against fraud. Do you think that that had something to do with the prevalence of fraud in your administration?
A
I can't speak to it, but it does.
D
Are you going to take responsibility for this?
A
I certainly. I supervise 40,000 employees. State agencies have their own agencies supervise
D
a lot of employees. And as you have said, the buck stops with you. And your administration has treated whistleblowers like absolute dirt. And that's a big reason why we've seen so much of our hard earned tax dollars defrauded.
A
Yeah, look, what happened yesterday is typical stuff from Tampon Tam. He did the Sergeant Schultz routine. I know nothing. I know nothing. Like, like I just my eyes completely shut to this. Now that would make sense if it wasn't for the fact that he's so obviously and provably sinister. The guy has lied about everything, including things like his time in combat or whatever. He was just lying. He just told so many lies. So one of the defining features of Tim Walls is he's a liar. He's a liar. So he's sitting there before Congress under oath yesterday and like, I don't know anything about these, these whistleblowers, what happened to them. I never even heard of such a thing. When of course, it's been one of the dominant stories here about how this fraud was allowed to happen, including in local coverage in Minnesota. The guy's a con artist. Yesterday Nancy Mays confronted him about the fact that so called autism spending has exploded. Autism spending. What's happened is Somali fraudsters found out that they could claim that they were servicing the needs of autistic children in the state and then they just take a ton of money and then they give kickbacks to Somali families who pretended to have autistic children just to be taken a check. That really happened in Minnesota. It's a vile, vile scandal for a million different reasons, including the theft of the American taxpayer, the failure to actually help kids who actually have autism, who could benefit from a program like this, and then just the decision to straight up steal it and use it for your own cruel, selfish purposes. It's all so disgraceful. And here's Nancy Mace confronting Tampon Tim about the fact that you realize autism spending has exploded by multiple thousands of percentage points in your state. And that doesn't stand out to you? Listen to this.
B
Cut five much money was spent on autism in Minnesota in 2017.
A
Governor, I don't have those numbers in front of me.
B
Congressman, did you prepare for this hearing today?
A
Did you.
C
I take Congress seriously.
B
And you've seen the numbers about autism fraud in Minnesota. So we're going to do some Minnesota math with you today. Okay, Are you ready? How much money was spent on 2017 for autism in Minnesota? How much?
C
I don't know.
A
I wasn't the governor.
B
Okay, did you not just say that you prepared for this hearing today? $1 million. Okay, a quick Google search or using your. I could tell you $1 million was spent. How much money was spent on autism in Minnesota in 2024?
A
I don't have a number in front
B
of me as governor in 2024.
A
I was, but I'm not the head of governor.
B
So your excuse before that you didn't know what 2017 autism numbers were because you were not governor. And today you can't answer the numbers about 2024 as governor and you still said you prepared for this hearing today. It's unbelievable. $343 million was spent in 2024. What percent increase is that? From 1 million to 343 million? What percentage increase is that?
A
I'm not here to be your prop. Go ahead and tell me.
B
Are you governor of Minnesota or not?
A
Yes, I am.
B
I'm not Carolina. You can sure as hell bet that I'm going to know the math. The math is 34,200% increase, an increase of 343 times what it was in this time period. Do you know the number of children in Minnesota?
C
I know that Minnesota ranked as a top three state for children in our country.
A
That's pretty perfect. I think we've, I think we've given people as much as they possibly could take. Tim Walls. Yeah, I mean, look, the math makes it obvious. This is the kind of like if you're, if you were in the business of investigating fraud, looking for evidence of fraud, you would look at this kind of math and be like, well, that's an anomaly. Why did we see like a several thousand percentage increase in spending in this one category? What's going on there? Is there, Was there a legitimate multi thousand percent increase in the need or is something else happening? And the something else is that Americans are being robbed blind and there's Tampon Tim doing the Sergeant Schultz, you know, like, oh, nothing's happening I didn't even know about. I love, I love that she caught him in the moment where she was like, what about 2017? He's like, I wasn't governor. What about 2024? I don't have the numbers in front of me. Oh, okay. So when it was 2017, you came up with I'm not a governor excuse. In 2024, you came up with the I'm an idiot. Is that now you're not even consistent in your excuses for why you can't explain what's going on in your state right now. But you can't, of course, as you watch his sinister behavior, you can't exclude the fact that he's an idiot. You can't exclude that from your calculus. And yesterday, one of my favorite congressmen, Pat Fallon, he did not exclude this from his assessment yesterday. Here's Congressman Pat Fallon and what should become a legendary clip from Congress Watch.
C
Mr. Chairman, I don't know if you know this, but it's widely.
A
It's been widely reported that in 2008,
C
when Barack Obama was choosing his vice
A
presidential candidate, he had three criteria.
C
He wanted to make sure he picked somebody that wasn't as smart as him and had less talent and charisma and couldn't possibly outshine him. So he picked Joe Biden. And then Joe Biden in 2020 used the exact same criteria. He wanted to make sure he picked somebody wasn't as smart as him, had less talent, charisma, and wouldn't outshine him. And he picked Kamala.
A
Her.
C
And then in 2024, Governor, I think it's very evident why Kamala Harris picked you. The talent pool, Mr. Chairman, the talent pool in just shallow, brother. We have hit the shore, and I yield back.
A
That is one of my favorite memes that these Democrats keep picking people who are even dumber and less impressive than they are to be their running mates. And that's how you end up with Tim Walsh. It's so funny. It's so funny. Look, I get it. A lot of these congressional hearings will come and go and you'd be like, all right, there's a lot of talking, but where's the action? We want totally fair, totally fair critique. But insofar as there's going to be talking, we need epic dunks like that from Pat Fallon. Thank you, Congressman. An instant classic. An instant classic. I love, loved that yesterday. Let's see some other quick things for you that I want to hit. I mean, man, I could, we could do this all day. I honestly have just hours of stuff to get to, and a lot of this I'm going to have to get to on the radio show with you today. But I want to take you back to Virginia for a moment. We've been talking this week about a woman called Stephanie Minter, 41 years old, who was just stabbed to death by an illegal alien in one of the most grotesque possible crimes in a bus stop recently. This person was charged over 40 times, arrested over 30 times. He's been released over and over and over by the Soros funded attorney in Fairfax County, Virginia. It's just an absolute mess. And we just got an update on this story that all of the local authorities knew how dangerous this guy was, the illegal alien. They knew it. They knew that he was a danger, a threat to the community, a complete menace. And here is the excellent reporting. This is a local ABC reporter in Northern Virginia. His name's Nick Minock. You've seen me play some of his clips before. He's a phenomenal journalist. Here's what he was able to dig up about what Fairfax county police knew about this homicidal maniac.
E
Watch these emails that seven News obtained show that Fairfax county police warned Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano not once, not twice, but at least three times last year before Minter's murder about this illegal immigrant, a violent criminal history. He has a lengthy one, but time after time, Descano's office dropped charge after charge allowing him back into the community. Emails obtained by 7News show Fairfax county police warning Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Discano's office about how dangerous Abdul Jalo was not once but three times starting last May, well before he was arrested for murdering Stephanie Mentor as she waited for a bus in Hybla Valley last week. In the last email from November, a Fairfax county police major asked Descano's office why Jalo was back in the community after facing a malicious wounding charge. The major telling Descano's office that based on more than 100 encounters with Jalo over the years, FCPD's assessment was quote, it is not a question of if but rather when he will maliciously wound or worse again. Last May, in the first email, Fairfax county police told prosecutors in Descano's office Jalo has a long history of stabbing community members and has shown a blatant disregard for human life and is a danger to the community. Today here at the Capitol, I asked Democratic lawmakers about Minter's murder as they prepared to vote on legislation to limit ICE's ability to arrest illegal immigrants in Virginia. Look at your reaction to this murder that happened in Fairfax county, allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant. You don't know about Stephanie Minter or Abdul Jalo. What's your reaction to an illegal immigrant murdering a woman allegedly in Fairfax county last week?
A
In the middle of a conversation. Thank you so much.
E
All right, delegate, do you think Fairfax.
A
This just keeps happening. All the Democrats, they don't want to say anything. They don't want to say anything. In fact, he tries to question the lieutenant governor at one point and one of her security goons shoves Nick Minock away is these Democrats, they just want to keep, you know, put their head down and pretend like none of this is happening. It's happening and it's happening because of you. Y' all are scumbags. And you saw the images. For those of you are on rumble.com friends, you can see the image of the local Soros funded prosecutor, Steve Discano. The guy looks like a bald peewee Herman. It's just, just a bizarre looking figure. He, he's the guy who keeps releasing this criminal onto the streets. And yet Fairfax county police one, I think the most, probably the most important email that Nick obtained there is the one where they said this guy keeps stabbing everybody. Did you hear that moment in the emails? The local police know that this guy is a stabber. He keeps stabbing Americans. So let's not release him. He's very violent. We should get them, get him the hell out of our country. You know, it's not, you know, sometimes with criminals you can, you can only follow the statutes, right? You prosecute them, you convict them, you hold them in prison for as long as they're sentenced and then they're back out in public and you hope they don't commit crimes again. We've got one problem with Americans already, you know, that commit crimes. It's another thing when you have somebody who's an illegal alien. If you have somebody who's in our country illegally, you have the perfect opportunity to safeguard your community. You don't have to worry about how long the sentence is going to be. Just eject his ass from the country so that he's not harming the community again. Especially when you know that this guy's a public safety threat. He keeps stabbing everybody. Well, good job, everybody. He just stabbed a 41 year old American woman to death in a bus stop in Virginia because of what you did. That blood is on your hands. That's Democrats. That's Democrats. And Abigail Spanberger, the governor of the state is right now doing executive orders, making it so that local cops can't work with ICE to get these people out of our country. Like they're rooting on the deaths of American Citizens. And then when they're asked about it by a reporter who's being completely polite, sincere and earnest about, you know, hey, what's your reaction to the fact that this is going on on your watch? They don't want to say anything. They just. They just laugh. They say they're too busy. They smile, they walk away. They treat that reporter, and, by extension, all of the voters who care about that issue with utter contempt. They're not here to engage with you one on one. They're not treating this like a legitimate issue. They're laughing at you as your neighbors are being murdered in cold blood inside of bus stops in Northern Virginia. That's what's happening right now. It's utterly contemptible. And thank you to Nick Minock. Stay on that story, brother. We'll keep promoting all your great work on it because we've got to get to the bottom of this. We've got to be able to have a way to hold these people, I'm talking about the politicians, criminally accountable. People like, you know, Bald Pee Wee Herman, Steve Descano. You got to hold him criminally accountable for what he's done to our country, allowing Americans to be killed that way. Let me end on with a bit of a palate cleanser. Some sad, but some news about a very touching human being, a totally motivational human being. Coaching legend Lou Holtz has passed away at the age of 89 years old. A man who turned the Notre Dame football program into something utterly legendary. Utterly legendary. And he's just a totally huge motivator. A huge motivator. You know, one of the, I think, underappreciated blessings of death is that when someone great passes away, it makes their greatness even more resonant because you realize you're like, you don't have more opportunities to listen to them say new things or to speak to them, to interview them. So I've been watching all the Lou Holtz speeches and interviews over the last 24 hours and just loving all of it and thinking, man, what a. What a huge inspiration. What a decent person. What a. What a great man. And, you know, Lou Holtz, he. They put a statement up on his X account yesterday indicating that he had passed away at the age of 89, Orlando, Florida. And they said he was surrounded by family. He was born on January 6th of 1937. He had a humble upbringing in Follonsby, West Virginia. I saw he said once that he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. What he meant was he was born not into wealth but instead, into the United States of America. That's what he considered the silver spoon. To be born into this great country with boundless possibilities. And he rose to such incredible heights. The obit here on his account says over a remarkable five decade career, he led college programs at William and Mary, North Carolina State, Arkansas, Minnesota, Notre Dame, South Carolina. He transformed every team he inherited. And he captured the 1988 national championship with the Fighting Irish. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Beth, with whom he shared a life grounded in faith, devotion and service. They go on to say that funeral arrangements, including a massive Christian burial, will take place at the beautiful Basilica of the Sacred Heart right there at the University of Notre Dame with that golden dome. Details are being finalized from the Holtz family. Well, first and foremost, prayers for the Holtz family and the wonderful Lou Holtz. What a. What an amazing, impressive life Lou Holtz got involved with helping the President of the United States out. You remember back in 2020 that we had that big digital convention that they had to hold everyone, they held part of it on the South Lawn and the rest of us had to watch it at home on our televisions. There was no stadium event this time. Lou Holtz got involved and he. He scorched Joe Biden. Cut nine. Watch this.
C
Nobody has been a stronger advocate for the unborn than President Trump. The Biden Harris ticket is the most radically pro abortion campaign in history. They and other politicians are Catholics in name only and abandoned in innocent lives. President Trump protects those lives. I trust President Trump.
A
President Trump loved Lou Holtz. President Trump, in fact, gave Lou Holt, oftentimes a golf partner of the President. He gave Lou Holtz the Presidential Medal of freedom back in 2020 in a touching and again, motivational ceremony. Watch this.
C
I get this award. I accept it humbly. You don't go in life saying, I want to win this award. Award. You just wake up one day and it happens. But this award, as great as it is, does not define who Lou Voltz is. My beautiful family, my precious wife, my friends, you have determined who I am. And I just try to be a solid person, as I think it was said. The two most important days of your life, one's the day you're born.
A
Born.
C
The other, today you discover why you're born. When we discover we're born basically of other people to overcome problems and difficulties are going to come our way. And I just could not be prouder to be part of this country. I could not be prouder to receive this award. From an individual I respect and admire as much as President Trump. Thank you. Thank you.
A
The president puts the Medal of Freedom around his neck. A man who truly believed in the boundless potential of every human being. He said, no matter what your skill set, just perform at your absolute best, whatever that is, we can all do it. Perform at your absolute best. The two most important days of your life, the day that you're born and the day you discover why you were born. Pray that you figure that one out. That's a big one. Thank you. Lou Holtz passing away at the age of 89, leading a great life, motivating the rest of us. All right. I'll be back with you tomorrow on this program. I've got the big national radio show today, the Vince Show. You can get your local radio affiliate listings@the Vinceshow.com also. We do the show live on Rumble from 1 to 3 Eastern Time.
