A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran. Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people. Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas and our allies throughout the world. For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted death to America and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder targeting the United States, our troops and the innocent people in many, many countries. Among the regime's very first acts was to back a violent takeover of the US embassy in Tehran, holding dozens of American hostages for 444 days in 1983. Iran's proxies carried out the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut that killed 241American military personnel in 2000. They knew and were probably involved with the attack on the USS Cole. Many died. Iranian forces killed and maimed hundreds of American servicemembers. In Iraq, the regime's proxies have continued to launch countless attacks against American forces stationed in the Middle east in recent years, as well as US Naval and commercial vessels in international shipping lanes. It's been mass terror and we're not going to put up with it any longer. From Lebanon to Yemen and Syria to Iraq, the regime has armed, trained and funded terrorist militias that have soaked the earth with blood and guts.

He had soaked the earth in blood and guts. You know, this is. This president, despite some of the claims to the contrary, he really has been on Iran for a very long time. He has spent many, many years talking about this. And in fact, I want to take you to. There's a book that he wrote. This is really important, I think, for us to get a perspective on this. This goes back to 2011. President Trump wrote a book called Time to Get Tough. Time to Get Tough, Make America Great Again. These days, the edition says it's the book that launched maga. But I want you to see this. Take a look at what President Trump said at the time. This is what he had to say about Iran. Pardon me, here. Oh my goodness. I'm like jumping from page to page. Yeah, here we go. Iran. President Trump on Iran. He said Obama's plan to have Russia stand up to Iran was a horrible failure that turned America into a laughingstock. Unfortunately, our current foreign policy towards Iran has been just as embarrassing and disastrous. And then he talks about how the president, how President Obama has routinely led us astray, that he was. That basically he was engaged in a perpetual series of. Of appeasements that has done nothing bad a power in Ron even more. And he said this is an Iranian regime led by at the time Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a guy who has declared Iran's desire to see one of our greatest allies, Israel, wiped off the map. But did Obama stand up for the voices of freedom and against the anti Israel forces? Not a chance. Had Obama stepped out to help the protesters early, the regime could have easily been overthrown and we would not have our biggest problem today. This was back in 2011 when President Trump says he was our biggest problem when it comes to defending human rights in the Islamic world. Obama shies away because he thinks America should be apologizing to Muslim countries rather than speaking out. It's disgrace, he says. The greatest outrage, however, has been Obama's unwillingness to stand strong in the face of Ahmadinejad's nuclear weapon ambitions. Iran is the most sanctioned member of the United Nations. Since 2006, Iran has been the focus of five Security Council resolutions, all demanding that it stop its uranium enrichment. And he said Obama was childish. Obama wanted to create a telephone hotline between America and Iran. The president writes, I kid you not. Obama's solution to thwarting a nuclear Iran is to set up a little telephone line that our military can use to talk nicely with the Iranian terrorist regime that threatens to destroy America. He said it was pathetic. He said it was ridiculous. It was ridiculous. And then he goes on to say that our primary goal with Iran must be to destroy its nuclear ambitions. Must be to destroy its nuclear ambitions. Let me put this as plainly as I know. The president wrote at the time, Iran's nuclear program must be stopped, he says, by any and all means necessary, period. We cannot allow this radical regime to acquire a nuclear weapon that they will either use or hand off to terrorists. Better now than later. So the President of the United States now was writing back in 2011 that this has to happen. He talked in particular about bombing the bunkers where the Iranians kept their nuclear program. He said that this program has to be stopped and appeasement is not working. You know, as we go through this, I'm gonna go through the news of the weekend. Some amazing things have transpired and For a lot of Americans worrying things, you're looking at this going, okay, what happens next? I just want this to end. Well, we all do. This is all what we're praying for. But it is helpful to have this context of who President Trump is as a leader and how he's different than establishment Washington. Think about it. On one end, you've got the John Bolton's of the world. You've got what you call the neocons, the people who will pour into any zone in the world with a reckless abandon, throw American bodies at anything they possibly feel like, at the expense of, of course, immense amounts of American treasure and blood. And for what ends. For what ends, often poorly articulated, if at all, to the American public. It's disgraceful. And boy, have we learned a lot of hard lessons through that kind of out of control adventurism. The other side of the aisle is like the Obama world, the world of appeasement, where you just bow and genuflect. In Obama's case, quite literally bowed and genuflected to many of our adversaries around the world, apologizing for America and saying, you can get away with literally murder and we'll help finance your abilities to do that. That's how you end up with Obama sending stacks of cash to Iran. It's insane. President Trump has chosen a different way. President Trump has not been the establishment. In fact, he's the answer to the failures of the establishment. So the President is not deploying ground troops into Iran. He's not doing some sort of big invasion into the country, but he's also not rolling over for a terror state that has actually killed thousands of Americans since 47 years ago when you had the mullahs in the Iranian revolution overthrow the Shah. Things have, things have been awful ever since, and Iran has only promised to make them more awful. What has President Trump been trying to do, especially in recent months? He's been trying to negotiate. He's telling Iran, look, if you don't do this, if you don't come to the table, if you don't work with me, if you don't swear off your nuclear ambitions, we're going to have to decapitate you. These are the options, so you better play ball now. Well, playtime is over. The President made that offer over and over and over again. And by the time we got to Friday afternoon, I remember saying, as I was heading out of the radio show Friday, I said, man, things are heated up so much right now. And it seems so clear to me that there could be A strike on Iran imminently. That by Monday we could be talking about something very different. And here we are talking about something very, very different. Massive strikes on Iran. Massive strikes on Iran, hitting their military facilities, hitting their top political leadership facilities. And this all came. That announcement from the President apparently came as there was a huge human, physical gathering of all of Iran's top leadership. Now, I don't know what they were thinking. If I knew on Friday that it seemed very likely that the United States and Israel were about to strike Iran, I don't think if I was the Supreme Leader, I'd be gathering with all of my top leadership in one location. And yet that's precisely what they did. This is, this whole thing is wild. And I'd love to know more and probably won't. I'll probably go to my grave not knowing all of the classified details, the behind the scenes efforts, the disinformation necessary to try and make things happen. Whatever it is, boy, they knew where these guys were. Our spies were all over tracking where these guys were headed. Check this out. This is the New York Times reporting this. Overnight, the CIA helped pinpoint a gathering of Iranian leaders. Then Israel struck. Shortly before the United States and Israel were poised to launch an attack on Iran, the CIA zeroed in on the location of perhaps the most important target, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country's supreme leader. The CIA had been tracking Khamenei for months, gaining more confidence about his locations and his patterns, according to people familiar with the operation. Then the agency learned that a meeting of top Iranian officials would take place on Saturday morning at a leadership compound in the heart of Tehran. The CIA learned that the Supreme Leader would be at the site. So the United States and Israel decided to adjust the timing of their attack in part to take advantage of this new intelligence. The information provided a window of opportunity for the two countries to eliminate top Iranian officials and Ayatollah Khamenei. The remarkably swift removal of Iran's supreme leader reflected the close coordination and intelligence sharing between the US And Israel in the run up to the attack and the deep intel the countries had developed on Iranian leadership, especially in the wake of last year's 12 day war. The Times claims that the CIA had high fidelity intelligence on Khamenei's position. It was passed on to Israel, according to people briefed on the intelligence, and they executed. Israel executed this mission, this operation, using U.S. intelligence and its own that had been planning for months the targeted killing of Iran's senior leaders. They originally planned on going on at night under the COVID of darkness, but instead adjusted the timing based on the fact that these leaders had all gathered at the offices of the Iranian presidency, the Supreme Leader and Iran's National Security Council. They're all there and they took them out. Who'd they kill? A lot of people. A lot of people. And you know, talking to military experts about this, the fact is we knew that they were having this meeting. You have to. We knew that they'd be having this meeting even before they arrived at it. That's how dialed in our intelligence services were because you start firing up all of the military hardware necessary to get it in there at exactly the moment, necessary to take out this, this leadership. So fascinating what is transpiring this morning and what transpired this weekend. It really was a masterstroke of intelligence that led to an immense attack. Now, the President revealed on Saturday on Truth Social Media that Khamenei is dead. This was his share on Truth Social this weekend. He says not only justice for the people of Iran, but for all great Americans and those people from many countries throughout the world who have been killed or mutilated by Khamenei and his gang of blood thirsty thugs. And if the President's statement is not enough on this subject, take a look. It cut to here, the Iranian state media, one of their propagandists pretending to well up in tears as he makes the announcement on state television. Watch. If you're listening on the podcast, he's just saying how many is dead? Pure draft of martyr. Yeah. So did you notice that guy, for those of you watching on the video podcast, and even if you're listening, you could probably hear it, how fake the tears are on that dude. Like that guy was pretending to cry on camera, pretending to cry on camera as he releases that statement on behalf of state media in Iran that Khamenei is dead. Confirmation there. There were celebrations around the planet in the United States, celebrations In places like LA, NY. You saw Iranians and Jews come together and celebrating this in London. You saw this all around the planet and in Iran. Here's video footage from Iran of Iranians celebrating the death of their own supreme leader in the streets. Watch. Yeah, that's that. That comes to us from the suburb of Karaj, Iran. There were videos like that all across the country. A lot of, you know, you think about what's going on in Iran 47 years ago, the overthrow of the Shah. You have people who are old enough who remember what it was like to live under the Shah rather than under the mullahs. And they pine for that. They want that back. And then you have young people who have a sense of what Iran's past looked like, and they certainly want the future to look like that as well. So that is the attitude that President Trump is hoping to take advantage of and help cultivate a renewed and peaceful Iran and not a belligerent, radical Iran that's trying to destroy America and Israel. We'll see. We'll see about this. Now a lot of Iranian officials were killed. The president told Fox News that 48 Iranian leaders were wiped out in a single shot. Cut 4. Watch as Fox relays their conversation with the president. Moments ago, I spoke with President Trump, who tells me he knows how many targets are left to hit as part of the joint US and Israeli strikes. The president told me 48 Iranian leaders were wiped out in one shot, adding that Operation Epic Fury is moving along rapidly. 48. Have you guys noticed? Can I just. Let me just take a quick aside just on the numbers. Have you noticed how frequently we've been served numbers in the 40s this past week? Isn't that weird? I don't know. I don't know if it's weird to you. I was dwelling on it this week. I'm like, why do we keep getting all these numbers? I don't want to dive into numerology or anything, but like 47, that's the president of the United States. The Iranian regime was launched 47 years ago. 48 Iranian leaders were just wiped out. And unrelated. But in the 40s, too. The US men's hockey team just won gold for the first time in 46 years since the Miracle on Ice against the Soviets. 46, 47, 48. President Trump was also 45. I don't know. I'm not really sure. I'm not really sure. Anyway, the point is, it's just all stands out to me. I'm a. That's right. Oh, yeah. I'm running lent right now. 40 days. You know, Jesus went out into the desert for 40 days and I just turned 40. Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's not. But it's also fascinating. Yeah, I know. Isn't that weird? Little Lisa says that, too. You just turn 40. Yeah. And AOC's IQ is 40. All of these things. That's hilarious. Thank you, Ron Duck. All of these things on the same time. I wonder what that's about. Okay, let's see. More to go. More to go. We get an afternoon update from the President of the United States on Sunday afternoon. I will share that with you. And, and look, when you've got military action like this, you know, and I get. We'll talk about the definition of war and whether or not we're at war, there's a lot of that going on. A lot of that is revolves around people trying to make arguments about what Congress's involvement should be. But clearly, if you, if you fire missiles at anything, you're engaged in an armed conflict. Iran, of course, has been at war with the United States for 47 years and, and with Israel in particular. So, you know, you want to call something a war. Yeah. Iran has constantly been conducting acts of war like crazy, and President Trump just took a big step towards ending it. We'll go through all of it in a moment. We've got so much more to get to here on the program. Stay with me. But first, I want to talk to you about blackout coffee. This is a company I love. We took out everybody. I mean, we even took out Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad. Is Ahmadine gone? He's. He's done for. You've got. The head of the Iranian Defense Council was killed. The Defense Minister was killed. The IRGC commander was killed. The Ayatollah Khamenei was killed. We blew up the. The whole IRGC headquarters. Take a look at cut six first. Take a look. Cut six. Here's the IRGC headquarters being turned into dust. Look at that. Smithereens. I think that's what a smithereen is. I think we're seeing a lot of those on camera right now. The IRGC headquarters absolutely dusted. Yes, that was dusted. That was. That was impressive. Candidly impressive. The President of the United States did offer an update Sunday afternoon on the military operations. Here's what he said.
B
Over the past 36 hours, the United States and its partners have launched Operation Epic Fury, one of the largest, most complex, most overwhelming military offensives the world has ever seen. Nobody has seen anything like it. We have hit hundreds of targets in Iran, including Revolutionary Guard facilities, Iranian air defense systems. Just now it was announced that we knocked out nine ships, plus their naval building, all in a matter of literally minutes. Iran's formerly supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, is dead. This wretched and vile man had the blood of hundreds and even thousands of Americans on his hands and was responsible for the slaughter of countless thousands of innocent people all across many countries last night, all over Iran, the voices of the Iranian people could be heard cheering and celebrating in the streets when his death was announced. The entire military command is gone as well, and many of them want to surrender into saving their lives. They want immunity. They're calling by the thousands. Combat operations continue at this time in full force, and they will continue until all of our objectives are achieved. We have very strong objectives. They could have done something two weeks ago, but they just couldn't get there. Earlier today, CENTCOM shared the news that three US Military servicemembers have been killed in action. As one nation, we grieve for the true American patriots who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Even as we continue the righteous mission for which they gave their lives, we pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen. And sadly, there will likely be more before it ends. That's the way it is, likely be more, but we'll do everything possible where that won't be the case, but America will avenge their deaths and deliver the most punishing blow to the terrorists who have waged war against basically civilization, against civilization itself.
A
The President of the United States. So you heard a number of things there, including the success of our combat operations in Iran and The disclosure that three U.S. military service members have been killed in action. Well, God rest their patriotic souls. God bless those men and their families. There were five others who were wounded, CENTCOM said as well, and they're making a recovery right now. War is a messy business. It's a messy business. Again, whatever you want to call this war is a messy business. And our prayers are always with our troops and our gratitude's with our troops. This is tough stuff. And we have an update this morning that three USF 15s according to Central Command were shot down in a friendly fire incident in Kuwait. At 1103 last night, p.m. eastern Time, three US F15 East Strike Eagles flying in support of Operation Epic Fury went down over Kuwait due to apparent friendly fire incident during active combat that included attacks from Iranian aircraft, ballistic missiles and drones. The US Air Force fighter jets were mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses. All six aircrew ejected safely. They've been safely recovered and they're in stable condition. Kuwait has acknowledged the incident and we are grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti Defense Forces and their support in this ongoing operation. They said they are investigating the incident. Additional information set to be released as it becomes available. But the, the perils are obviously very real to the to the men are taking to the skies right now in the region and we'll find out more information about the loss of these American lives. Very early here, the president saying we're doing everything we can to avoid that. We'll do everything possible, he said, where we won't lose more lives. But, but this is one of the, the realities of war. This is, you know, what we're watching right now as the the United States is disabling all of Iran's top officials is Iran itself is undergoing spasms and not quite sure what to do. And in fact the Iranians instantly started lashing out at their Gulf state neighbors. They started attacking Arab countries all around them immediately in the wake of Khamenei dying, which may prove to have been a catastrophically bad decision for Iran because you know, whatever hope they were they might have had for the region coming in any way to their defense, well, that just completely collapses as they fire attacks on their golf allies. Golf golf neighbors rather more. In a moment I've got details on all of that, including the way that all of these Arab countries are responding. President Trump is easily remaking that. It's not actually it's not an easy job, but he easily deserves credit for it. Remaking the map globally. We'll get into it all ahead on this edition Events. They don't know what to do. All their leadership just got killed. They're like a chicken with their head cut off, running around in circles, trying to figure out how they latch out and at whom they should direct their. Their ammunition. And so what did they do? They started firing ballistic missiles and drones at everybody. They, of course, sent a bunch of these attacks in Israel's direction. They destroyed a synagogue in Israel. They killed at least nine people there. They say another 450 people have been injured in attacks in Israel, according to the BBC. Then they had all sorts of missiles fired towards Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia. They're firing at everybody. There was a drone strike at a US Naval base in Bahrain on Sunday, and it started a fire there. Three people were killed in the United Arab Emirates as there were attacks by the Iranians on various ports and airports. One person died, at least in Kuwait. Of course, I told you about the three American service members, the troops who died in combat, five others seriously injured. But the reality is mostly in the region now, the President and our Middle Eastern allies, we've successfully stopped most of the attacks. A lot of the attacks that have been incoming have been thwarted, intercepted, blocked. CENTCOM said that forces have been successfully defending against, quote, hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks all across the region. So Iran doesn't know what to do. And in its lack of wisdom, its lack of knowledge about what to do, it has only brought a host of nations closer together in alliance against Iran. In fact, here's a joint statement that was released by the United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE all condemning Iran this weekend and their indiscriminate and reckless missile and drone attacks against sovereign territories across the region, including Bahrain, Iraq, including the Iraqi Kurdistan region, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the uae. These unjustified strikes targeted sovereign territory, endangered civilian populations and damaged civilian infrastructure. The Islamic Republic's actions represent a dangerous escalation that violates the sovereignty of multiple states and threatens regional stability. The targeting of civilians and of countries not engaged in hostilities is reckless and destabilizing behavior. And the statement goes on to basically say, we stand united in defense of our citizens, sovereignty and territory. So what an amazing thing this. Could any of this have happened under, say, let me honestly think about it, under a President Bush or President Obama or a Biden? Any of these guys a President? Kamala Harris, God forbid. The answer is no. The answer is no. What has President Trump been doing? What is all of this about? What has he been up to? The answer to this is, as I mentioned at the outset of the program, one, Iran has long been on his mind. It's been of immense concern for him for many years, dating back to, at the very least, that2011 book, Time to Get Tough, where President Trump declared that Obama had gotten it all wrong by appeasing Iran and we had to stop them. We had to bomb their nuclear capabilities and we had to stop them from ever getting a nuclear weapon. President Trump tries negotiation, doesn't work. The Iranians don't take him seriously. So the president said, you'll take me seriously now. And he blows up their entire top leadership. Now, Iran is scrambling to create new leadership for his country right now. They've imposed an interim supreme leader at the moment. The president indicated over the weekend to the Atlantic that he is, meaning his administration is in contact right now with the. The new leadership of Iran. And the president says that he has agreed to talk to them. He's ready to. He's like, oh, talk now. We killed everybody. You know, all your leaders are dead. President Trump said to the Atlantic this weekend that the country's new leadership wants to talk with him and that he plans to do so. Quote, they want to talk and I've agreed to talk, so I'll be talking to them. They should have done it sooner. They should have given what was very practical and easy to do sooner. They waited too long, he said. Asked with his conversation with the Iranians would happen today or tomorrow, Trump responded, I can't tell you that. He said that some of the Iranians who were involved in negotiations in recent weeks are no longer alive. Most of those people are gone. Some of the people we were dealing with are gone. Because that was big. That was a big hit. They should have done it sooner. Michael, that's the name of the reporter. They could have made a deal. They should have done it sooner. They played too cute. Whatever you think of President Trump, you can in no way doubt his resolve. The man means what he says. I want you to also think about something else that just happened this weekend, that very few people are even talking about. This decision by The United States by President Trump has a huge impact on China. It has a huge impact on the Chinese Communist Party. You and I have had this conversation quite a few times, but I'll just remind you of the data. 90% of Iran's oil goes to China. 90%. You want to talk about a great power, a huge adversary to the United States. The leading adversary to the United states is China. 90% of Iran's oil exports go to China. China does not have any domestic oil production. Any. It's entirely reliant on imports in order to power the oil component of its economy. Iran accounts for, by Some estimates, approximately 12% of all of China's crude oil imports. They get it from a whole bunch of places to include Russia, but Iran has accounted for 12%. If in a second you lose 12% of your oil, that's a big deal. That's a very big deal. If in the end of this, that just means that the Chinese have to buy legitimate oil on the open market at higher rates, it's still a very big deal for the United States. It improves our hand rather dramatically in this adversarial relationship we have with the Chinese Communist Party. Iran, though, is only the latest power cord that the President of the United States is now kicking out. Remember, it just happened in Venezuela not too long ago. As the President goes in, the military goes in, we grab Maduro and his wife, we bring them to the United States where they have to stand trial for their narco terror behavior, and we leave in place the upper leadership that was just behind Maduro. In Venezuela, the goal there is not regime change, but regime enhancement. The President says, okay, we'll keep you there. And then we're going to do that for stability. And so long as you play ball with us, we'll play ball with you. So far, so good. Now, Venezuela accounted for 4.2% of all of China's oil imports. But that was a big deal to Venezuela because Venezuela was exporting anywhere between 50 to 89% of all of its oil to China. In fact, in 2025, the analysts believe 89% of all Venezuelan oil was headed to China. Now, again, that was illicit. That that was not supposed to be happening. We were trying to put a stop to that. It was heavily sanctioned. But these illicit ghost ships were bringing all of this Venezuelan oil to China. President Trump has cut that off. So I want to remind you of something that's getting almost no attention in the media right now. The great power battle between the United States and China just had a massive addition to its story, which is now, President Trump has cut off in the vicinity of about 16% of all of China's oil imports. Again, they produce no oil domestically. All oil that they get is imported. And now at least 16% of it has suddenly had been kicked out of the way by the President of the United States. That's a massive deal. Where is Iran been getting all of its money from? Where's Venezuela been getting all of its money from in order to conduct these terrorist activities? The answer is China. They get it from China. And so President Trump has cut them off today, which is an amazing dynamic. And I'm kind of keen to keep an eye on where that component goes next. That's a fascinating dynamic here. And then let me address some of the other domestic concerns that are going on. If you're the kind of person who is really fed up with the United States engaging in frivolous regime change operations that cost a lot of American blood and treasure and without, without meaningful upside to the United States, I, I empathize sincerely with you. In fact, I, I share that view. I've talked about this for many years now. The United States needs to slow down and think clearly about where our military engagements occur. No doubt about that. And one of the reasons why you hear so many legitimately concerned voices expressing frustration about how things are going down right now on Iran is because the memory of Iraq is still fresh in so many people's minds. Remember, the United States is sold a bill of goods as a justification to go in for a regime change operation to take out Saddam Hussein and to subsequently destabilize the entire region as a result. But not everything is the same thing. I'm here to remind you. Just because in the. Just because we take out Iraq and then Iraq becomes a complete dumpster fire that manifests in the birth of ISIS in the Middle east doesn't mean that every other engagement that we have going forward will be the exact same thing. And it's worthwhile. And as we're staring at this, to think about some of the dynamics. So what was going on in Iraq? Well, of course, they had this dictator, Saddam Hussein. He was part of the Ba' Athist operation, running the show in Iraq. When we go in, not only do we decapitate the whole government, but we engage in something called de Ba'. Athification. We purge the government of anything even close to Saddam Hussein. We tear up everything. We destroy everything. Iraq has also beset by tribal infighting, from the Sunnis to the Shias to the Kurds. All sorts of battles for who's gonna take over power next. That definitely defined and set the stage for the immense chaos that ensued in Iraq in the wake of the overthrow of Saddam, creating that immense power vacuum in a world in which terrorism could rise. Now, what about Iran? What's happening in Iran right now? Well, Iran is different in one gigantic, meaningful way. Iran is the source of destabilization in the Middle east right now. It's not a matter of knocking out the leader, and then all of a sudden, things becoming destabilized. Iran is already leading a destabilization operation. It's funding its various proxies, from Hezbollah to Hamas, who are causing all sorts of trouble, locking up places like the Strait of Hormuz, leading terror attacks in various countries in the region against Israelis, against Americans. It's a source of immense chaos. And all of those Arab countries, those Middle Eastern countries that I just mentioned a moment ago, who are now closer to the United States, and by the way, a lot of them are closer to Israel thanks to President Trump's orchestration of the Abraham Accords, they're sick of the destabilization in their region. They want peace. They don't want terrorism around them. And the source of that terrorism, in many cases was Iran, funded by China. You follow what I'm, what I'm saying. And then in Iran, the difference of the population is also fairly dramatic from where we were with Iraq. In Iran, you have mostly Persian people. It's a more sophisticated country, a sophisticated country that remembers what life was like, especially the old timers before the arrival of the mullahs at the top 47 years ago. They remember what it was like under the Shah. They pine for those days to return. And you have, yes, you have other minority groups, certainly in the country. You have Arabs, you have Kurds, you have Christians, you have Jews that live in Iran. It is a different environment pretty dramatically. You talk to anybody who's an expert on the Middle east from Iraq. These are not the same populations at all. If we've learned anything from history, when you engage in a decapitation operation or you engage in a war with a country, and then you're trying to plan for a peaceful aftermath. It really helps if the culture is more homogenous, if you have some unity within the culture itself. Certainly in Japan, in the wake of World War II, we nuke them a couple of times. Everybody's Japanese. The emperor swears off his divinity, and then you're able to have an actual formation of democracy and peace for years. To come. And now Japan, of course, ever since has been a great American ally. The same is true in Germany in the wake of World War II. Both of those were used as examples in the past by the neocons that democracy was possible everywhere. Now, I'm not in any way convinced that some sort of flourishing democracy is possible in Iran, but I am convinced that President Trump represents something different from the establishment that has existed in Washington for many years. Again ranging from the absurd neocons all the way to the appeasers like Barack Obama. President Trump is forging a mostly unseen middle ground. Look what he just did in Venezuela. He gets rid of Maduro, but he keeps the second in command in charge. Now, will he do something similar in Iran? The reality, of course, is he just killed a lot of the top officials. The United States military, the Israeli military, just killed a lot of the top officials. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. But clearly, President Trump is contemplating what comes next. How do we keep the country stable, and how do we arrest primarily its nuclear ambitions? We want to stop the reign of terror, and we want to stop them from pursuing and using nuclear weapons. That's the plan. And in fact, the administration is already signaling that what we can expect in the weeks to come is, is a bombing campaign directed at getting rid of the Iranian missile arsenal. They're trying to destroy all of the missiles that the Iranians have and have been using as they try and prosecute these wars of terror against their regional allies and against targets, including Americans. That's what's happening right now. But the president trying to figure out a way to successfully navigate all of this. And again, like I said, not everything. Every single thing is the same thing. Things are different. They're dynamic. One more thing giving me a degree of confidence here. Think about who the president has around him. The president, as great as he is, also has great advisors around him. Whether it's JD Vance, the Vice President of the United States, very smart man. Whether it's Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, a very, very smart man and a talented diplomat, or it's the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Raisin Cain. Guy knows what he's doing. These guys have thought this through. They knew what these military operations would look like and had thought about, okay, what is the aftermath of this thing? Has the president done this before? Well, yeah. I mean, he took out Soleimani, Qasem Soleimani in his first term. And the nervousness about regional instability that would ensue didn't come to pass. In fact, it ended up being an excellent decision to take out Qasem Soleimani. Similarly, Operation Midnight Hammer, lots of concern about what would ensue after that. Lots of again, good faith concern that this could blow up into some World War three event. It didn't come to pass. In fact, it disabled the Iranian nuclear program and set it back by years, ended up being a success. So the president has a track record of success here in Iran that is worth reflecting on as you assess whether or not the future is going to be bright. Well, so far it has been. And this comes down to the extent to which you should place your trust in any leader in our government. As far as I'm concerned, President Trump is the one who's earned it. The guy keeps I keep voting for him because he keeps delivering for me. And I've placed trust in him. I really have. Now lastly, on this kind of the aftermath of this so far, it is important for us to be on guard domestically. The FBI has warned us that there are a lot of things we need to keep an eye on. Right now we're on high alert. Cash Patel posted this weekend that FBI personnel are in, are engaged in the situation overseas, but obviously there's concern domestically about what happens here. He says, last night I instructed our counterterrorism and intelligence teams to be on high alert and mobilize all assisting security assets needed. Our JTTFs, those are joint Terrorism Task forces throughout the country, are working 24 7, as always, to address and disrupt any potential threats to the homeland. While the military handles force protection overseas, the FBI remains at the forefront of deterring attacks here at home. He says if you have any tips, any concerns, call 1-800- call FBI tips.FBI.gov if you see anything seems suspicious and you want to report it to law enforcement. That's Cash Patel's assessment on this. Now, in Austin, Texas, this weekend, we did see what appears to be a terror attack. It certainly was a terror attack by a man wearing a Property of Allah hoodie who conducted attacks in Austin, Texas, on a bar. And CBS has a photo of this goon. Take a look here. Property of Allah, it says on the guy's sweatshirt, Property of Allah. The suspect, the suspected gunman opened fire at this bar in Austin, Texas, early Sunday, has been identified as Diaga Diagna. They say he's a naturalized US Citizen from Senegal. Now, if all of that is true, what that means is he is a legal immigrant. Presumably, if he's a naturalized US Citizen, one could assume one way or another he either got here illegally in the Obama administration, made him a citizen, or he got here legally and the Obama administration made him a citizen. I don't care. This guy should not have been our country. His sweatshirt says Property of Allah. And we found out more. Not only does it say Property of Allah, apparently the guy was a big Iran enthusiast. Bill Millusian with reporting here that the FBI is investigating all of this as having a nexus to terrorism. He was living in Pflugerville, Texas, and material recovered from his person and vehicle give indications of a terrorism nexus per multiple federal law enforcement sources. The mass shooter was wearing clothing that had the words Property of Allah on it. He was possibly wearing an undershirt and a T shirt that had an Iranian flag or Iranian representations on it. CBS reported that officials executed a search warrant at the man's home on Sunday and they found an Iranian flag and pictures of of Iranian leaders. So I don't know how much more evidence you need that this guy conducted a terror attack. Now, he was killed in the attack. He was killed by authorities, but again, he was wearing all of the relevant terrorism merchandise as he conducted this attack. So head on a swivel in the midst of all of this. That's obviously a concern. And as always, prayers with every American who's been affected by any of this. There's concern at the US Capitol as well. Chad Pergrim at Fox reported that there will be enhanced security measures at the United States Capitol that began this weekend, continuing into this week. The Senate does meet today. The Senate does meet this afternoon. And that's where I want to bring you to some of the things that. That are going on in Congress right now and the things to pay attention to. There were a number of lawmakers who were, at the very least feigning outrage this weekend that there hasn't been a declaration of war in Iran. This is for Congress. You're violating the law. And in reality, the President is not actually violating the law. The President is following the law. There is a. There's a piece of legislation passed many years ago now called the War Powers act, the War Powers Act. And under the War for Powers act, the President must notify Congress within 48 hours of deploying troops, which they did. They told the Gang of Eight ahead of the attack that this was occurring. And the President then has the ability to keep the troops deployed for 60 to 90 days unless Congress declares war. And then all bets are off. You can keep going beyond that. So the President is following the letter of the law here, actually, and if you're bitching about this, I do want to remind people that Biden and Obama and Clinton have conducted numerous military strikes on countries all around the planet without any congressional authorization. Bill Clinton bombed Kosovo for 78 straight days without any congressional intervention and did it by arguing that he could under the War Powers Act. Obama not only ignored Congress, he also ignored the War Powers act, for that matter, because Obama bombed Libya for seven straight months in 2011 without any war resolution from Congress. Obama's view was completely extra constitutional, unconstitutional. His view was, well, I got a pen, I got a phone. I can do whatever I want. Okay? That's what Obama did. I mean, this is so common sense that even John Fetterman is getting it right. Here's Fetterman responding to how ridiculous some members of Congress are being right now. Watch this. People ever read the War Powers Act? You know, what's. What's required of the President is to provide 48 hours of notification, and then he or she have 60 days, up to 90 days to withdraw those troops, you know, before Congress approves that. Neither of those have been activated. He did provide that to the gate of the Gang of Eight, and there are no American troops on the ground. Now, this was an incredibly, incredibly precise and successful strikes, and they eliminated most of the leadership. So here we are. So, yes, I do support that. You know, why can't the entire world celebrate that he's dead for what he's done to the world? So John Fetterman is saying he's following the War Powers Act. Do people even read anything? No, apparently it's just you, John. In the Senate. Very, very few have John Fetterman read the War Powers Act. And he goes, wait, the President's following the law here? It's amazing. So what other business does the Senate have to do right now? What other business does Congress have? Well, let me tell you just quick couple of quick items. One, the Department of Homeland Security remains partially funded. You realize DHS is lacking a lot of funding in order to pay the men and women who are tasked with keeping the United States safe right now. You know that. So are Democrats. Can continue to leave DHS unfunded in the midst of concerns in the homeland. We just saw a terror attack in Austin this weekend. How about you get off your asses and you fund the Department of Homeland Security? We don't need any vulnerabilities. Stop creating new ones for us. Disgusting stuff. Another thing, you know, on this program, this. This topic of Iran. Well, I've mentioned it a couple of times. We'll talk about it from time to time, especially as it relates to the president's efforts to kick out China's power cords. That's been a very big deal to me, which we've talked about quite a bit. But for the most part, this show dwells primarily on things that are of immediate domestic concern to us as much as possible. And that's why we've pushed so hard in the months since the fall, actually, for the SAVE Act. We've been pushing for the SAVE act now called the Save America Act. That push continues. I want to warn you that Washington, whatever debates they're having right now over what's going on in Iran, Washington is going to attempt to use this as a way to push the SAVE act out of the news entirely. They want to push your concern about America's elections out of the way. They want you dwell dwelling on war. They want you dwelling on the debates around war. They want you to dwell on what's happening in Iran or whether Trump deserves to be impeached or whether he deserves to have a statue made because he did something great here. They want you to not focus on something that is of pressing concern to the American people, making sure our elections are credible and well run. We need the Save America Act. Now, to the credit of Mike Lee. Mike Lee, he came out last night and he's staying on this. I keep saying this. He said, no excuses. Time to act. Time to pass Save America. Going into this weekend, the pressure was on, on these United States senators to use the speaking filibuster to achieve this. That pressure should not fade. Keep the pressure on. Obviously, a lot of news broke this weekend on Iran. Of course we would dwell on it as we talk about this. We lose American lives. This is a very, very important story. But I don't want to diminish the importance of the Save America act and how much we need to focus on this and how much Washington is hoping you don't. So let's stay on that. Got a lot of other big stories to get to. We'll do more of it today on the big national radio show, including that now 39 people have all been charged. Almost all of them so far have been arrested. Some of them are overseas. We literally had to go overseas to arrest them after the storming of that Christian church in Minnesota. The Trump administration didn't give that up at all. They stayed all over that. It's a massive, massive story. I've got the details coming up on the Vince show today.
