Yes. All right, look, we've got a lot going on. Want to thank my friends over at Hillsdale. I had a nice night last night with them. I went, you know Hillsdale College, which is a wonderful, wonderful operation. Hillsdale. They. They've got an amazing college in Michigan, their undergraduate school. And for any of you, I don't know anybody in the chat, go to Hillsdale. Did anyone go to Hillsdale? All the Hillsdale graduates I meet are just incredible. Hillsdale takes no government money whatsoever. And so as a result, they can just teach, like, regular stuff, like, think, like, things about American history. And they give people a real education. It's awesome. And they also have a graduate school of government in Washington, D.C. and I'm friends with a bunch of the guys over there, and they invited me over last night to do a. What they do each year, they do a Washington Lincoln toast, where you go and a couple of us get a chance to basically toast the first President and the 16th President of the United States and talk about their place in American history and why it's so important that we remember our history. And it's a wonderful. It was a wonderful night. I appreciated it. I was there at the invitation of Dr. Matthew Spaulding, who runs the operation, and he's got this great book now. It's called the Making of the American Mind, the Story of Our Declaration of Independence. Check that out. There it is. For those of you watching rumble.com Vince, I. It is the 250th anniversary of America, so it is nice to just pause every so often and think about, isn't it great? What a gift we have, what a gift we have as a country. And the thing that I had to do, as I think about, like, what is this toast going to be about? Is I had to ground myself in, like, okay, what. What's a good thing to reflect on? And here's if. If I might just share with you my brief reflections on the subject of, you know, where we are in our country right now. You know, we look around and we say, man, there's a lot of chaos right now. Like, the left, they've kicked our borders open. There's all sorts of election rigging operations going on. The economy's been meddled with inflation out of control. You know, opioid deaths. Over 100,000 people a year have been dying. It's just been crazy. And thanks to your votes and getting President Trump in office, we've been able to turn a lot of that back, which has been wonderful. Now, does the left want to get rid of our progress? Yeah, absolutely. They really do. They're chomping at the bit to do that, but we've made a lot of headway but here's where I want to just ground you in American history for a moment. Just think about what George Washington was dealing with as the father of our country. This is a guy who leads this nascent American military. You know, commissioned by the Continental Congress to go against the most powerful military on planet Earth, against the British Empire. He's going toe to toe with the King. This is what the stakes were. And it was all about the future of our country. George Washington's talking about Providence. I mean, we are praying that God is on our side in a fight with unbelievable odds against us. And that's what George Washington led us through into the founding of our country. And Abraham Lincoln leading the country, holding the country together, holding together the vision that George Washington fought for in a world where. How many Americans did we lose in the Civil War? Think about it. We lost upwards of 750,000Americans in the Civil War. 750,000. It was absolutely devastating. We only had 30 million people who lived here. We lost 750,000Americans. Bloody, very bloody, very destructive. And so when we go through trying times in American history, as we are right now, it's worth keeping some perspective on just how difficult our past has been and just how epic it's been that we've been able to overcome those challenges. So in that history, we should find hope about what we can achieve today. You know what I mean? And then the last thing I'll say on this subject, and then we'll move on to the news of the day, is just in terms of like, reflecting on George Washington again. On the 250th anniversary of our country, I'm reminded of a story that became a scandal a couple years ago. Chat. Do you remember the Appeal to Heaven scandal involving Justice Alito? Do you remember this? Justice Samuel Alito's wife, Martha Annalito, flew an Appeal to Heaven flag outside of her home. Outside of their home. And at the time, I wasn't actually aware of the Appeal to Heaven flag. I didn't know a tremendous amount about it. And let me show, let me show you a picture of it. Those of you on the, on the, on the Rumble Chat, I want to just give you a look at this thing. This is the Appeal to Heaven flag. I didn't know about it at the time. I didn't know much about it. I'd seen it, but I hadn't taken the time to look at the history of it. And if you can't see it, if you're listening on audio, it's very simply a pine Tree set to a white flag. And right above it is the expression, an appeal to heaven. An appeal to heaven. And the reason this became a national scandal is because apparently there were people that were carrying this flag on January 6th. And additionally, Martha Ann Alito had decided to fly it outside of her house. And you start to wonder, what's the flag about? Well, the answer to that question is really cool. It's a really cool flag. When? In 1775, even before we declare our independence in 1776, as the Continental Congress is mobilizing an army to fight the British, they commissioned what we now know as the United States Navy, the Continental Navy at the time, and the six first ships that Washington commissions in the state of Massachusetts need a flag to fly above them. And the flag they agree to fly above those ships is this one. An appeal to heaven. Where does that expression come from? The expression an appeal to heaven comes from John Locke's Second Treatise on Government, the British philosopher John Locke. And in it, he makes a really basic point, which is that at the end of everything, at the end of the day, if you lose your government, if you have nowhere else to appeal, you can appeal to heaven. You can appeal to heaven above. Because if you believe in the eternal, which I do, if you believe in the Lord Almighty, the author of everything, well, then you're never without hope. You always have recourse. You always have somewhere to appeal. And this thinking, an appeal to heaven, is the very thinking that founded our country. That right there, the flag I'm showing you on screen is an American flag. It is an American flag. In fact, it's one of the founding American flags. And it's an epic part of our history. And, you know, this past week, we heard Marco Rubio, right? We heard Rubio go speak to the Munich Security Conference, and he says over and over to remember the Christian foundations of our country. Did you notice that? Did you notice that Marco Rubio said that? The Christian foundations of our country. Very unusual for a Secretary of State to use this kind of language, at least in this era, but it wouldn't have been unusual to the founders at all. I could talk about this all day. But anyway, the point is, we live in an amazing country, and with all the craziness that we are constantly served, it's good sometimes to ground ourselves in how it was founded and the trying times we've been through. And I think that helps steel us for the fights that are ahead. So thank you for letting me take a detour, and thank you to Hillsdale. For those of you who welcomed me last night, I appreciate it. I had a great time with the Hillsdale guys. They really are so super impressive. Reagan Reese, my White House correspondent, is a Hillsdale graduate, and you can tell, you can tell she's got her head on, right? Really great. All right, let's dive into some of the topics today. We get. We. The truth is apparently out there. Boy, oh, boy, how things have moved in the last 24 hours, as the President of the United States has now posted to Truth Social a pretty big declaration of what's about to come next. He said, based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War and other relevant departments and agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and Unidentified flying objects, and any and all other information connected to those highly complex but extremely interesting and important matters. God bless America. I don't know. Chat, is this a big deal? Buddy serve33 says this is just another distraction. What do you mean, buddy serve? Lay it out for me. What is it? A distraction from what? What could it. A distraction? The President of the United States just announced he's going to declassify all of the UFO stuff, the ET Stuff. It kind of seems like a big deal. Repeat, 1776 says it's a huge deal. This is a very huge deal. El Souder, how does this affect my life? I don't know. El Souder, we're going to find out how it affects your life. You know what I mean? I like this. Roswell 2086. I'll take 3 million Epstein files and two prosecutions over aliens. Yeah, well, luckily you're getting all of the above. Roswell. Your name's Roswell. Of course you want the Elliott files. Come on now. You named yourself Roswell. Anyway, so here we are. This does seem like a big deal. Yeah, we've never seen anything like it. There's never been anything like it. And also, if you think about what this means, that what it really means is if there's classified information to release here and that, like every other president, has either been under some sort of pressure or has decided to actively deceive the public on what they knew. And this president said, you know what? The hell with that. I'm gonna release everything. The predicate to this this week is actually a series of kind of interesting things, which is we get Obama, who does this, this random podcast. He's asked about this, and the guy asks him, remember, kind of famously now, hey, do aliens exist? And then Obama's like, yeah, they do. And then, and then that's it. The guy doesn't follow up at all. And then the rest of us are left wondering like, what the hell is this about? Listen to Obama this week. This is what kicked off this big news cycle and now where President Trump is jumping in. Are aliens real? They're real, but I haven't seen them. And they're not being kept in, what is it, Area 51. Area 51. There's no underground facility unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they, they hid it from the President of the United States. What was the first question you wanted answered when you became President? Where are the aliens?
