In a fiery State of the Union, Trump touted a “transformed America,” claiming historic gains in border security, inflation, jobs, and investment while Rep. Al Green was thrown out within minutes and partisan clashes erupted throughout the chamber. The president honored American heroes, announced sweeping tax and economic plans, and vowed aggressive action on crime, election security, and foreign threats as he declared, “The state of our union is strong.”

Happy 40th, Vince. You're a good man.
Vince
You've been a great friend.
Dan
Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here after 40, but the first 40 have been amazing. Wishing me another great 40.
Vince
You're a great guy. A good guy to know. I'm one of the most talented people in the business. Happy 40th. Holy wow. That's unbelievable. Fellas, thank you. Oh, my goodness. What a nice, what a nice thing to start the show with. I had no idea. We're spending all morning getting ready for State of the Union coverage and these guys tell me nothing about this. This was sprung on me. I don't know who I get. I get maybe how those guys found out. How does everybody know, though? I, I'm looking at the chat this morning. I'm seeing Happy birthdays. Where's my birthday? Even published. I, you know, I know that I do kind of a public facing job. Obviously I'm doing a show. I'm doing, you know, we're doing this on video and the radio show and the Daily Caller. I get it. But like the little personal biographical details, like what day is your birthday? I don't even know where this is at. Like, how do people find out? Anyway, thank you very much. I appreciate it. Yeah. 40. 40. I don't know, when you were a kid, was 40 old? Was 40 considered. I know if you're over 40 now, you're like, 40 is nothing. You're a spring chicken. I got it. I understand. But I mean, when you were a child, was four. Yeah. Over the hill. This is what we used to say when we were a kid. Southside just said it. Over the hill. Over the hill. I look, I get like, I've, I've got, I mean, I've, I've even told you about some of my fair share of health problems through the years. I have some. No, no question about it. And then they just keep ramping up. I love that promise from Dan. It only goes like, it only gets worse from here. Thanks, Dan. Thanks for the encouragement, Dan. Dan's been through it. Dan knows. Dan. Dan knows. Life, Life will throw some punches your way, but man, it's. It is great to be here. It's great to be here on God's green earth. It's great to be here with you and thank you very much. What a nice thing. I woke up this morning, we went late last night because I'm watching the State of the Union. The, the record length State of the Union and my, my dear wife and child are in bed early because they had to get up early this morning for just a lot going on in our lives. But I saw them this morning as I'm kind of prepping more for the show, and we're interacting for a little bit. And the girls prepared this, like, nice little birthday gift for me. And there's a box on the kitchen table. And, dad, open it. Open it. There's a big box, and I'm going through it and I start ripping. I realize it's super light. There's like a. I can tell there's practically nothing in it. It's like, mostly air. And you know how sometimes you give, like, the gag gift where it's. Thank you, guys. Look at that little birthday hat on rumble.com. vince. I'm opening the box. And you know, sometimes people give gag gifts where they just wrap an empty box and they just have the paper all over it. This is what I thought I was getting. I thought it was the okie doke. Like, I was just gonna open it. Like, there's gonna be nothing in it. All right, thanks, guys. That was pretty funny. I get all the way into the. Into the wrapping, and there's a tiny little piece of paper on the inside. It's true. They over packed it to really accentuate it. Tiny little piece of paper. And there it is. I get to go see Bruno Mars in concert this year. Is that a cool gift? Bruno Mars is coming to Northwest stadium in the beginning of May. And I've been saying for as long as I've been aware of him as an artist, I'm like, I'd love to see that guy in concert. My wife, because she has a good memory, remembered this, and I finally get a chance to see him perform. I can't remember that super bowl performance that he did years ago. It was one of the single best super bowl performances I've ever seen. I loved that show. Anyway, I'm very excited about it. I can't wait for that. That's the coolest thing ever. So the family's great. You're great. What a nice day to celebrate with you. And it was so nice last night. Talk about a birthday gift for our country. To see the president of the United States stand up there last night and talk about how great this country is. 250 years of it and how much we've accomplished is just. It's just amazing. I enjoyed every single moment of it. I want to go through it now with you, if you don't mind. If you don't mind, I'd like to recap the state of the union with you because there were so many great moments last night. So thank you. Thank you for the birthday gifts. You guys are. You guys are wonderful. And. And there's that. Yeah. Haunted house. Says a little gay, but okay. Yeah, you know what? I don't care. I'm a married man. I don't give a. I love it. I love. I'm like, I want to see Bruno Mars. When Bruno Mars showed up the first time, I remember thinking, that guy reminds me of, like, Sammy Davis Jr. I don't know if it was, like, the way his hair was done up or whatever, but he's just, like the consummate performer. Like, he could do it all, you know, like Sammy Davis. He could act, he could sing, he could tap dance. The guy did everything. I saw Bruno, I was like, man, he's like. It's like Sammy Davis. Something's. Something's wild. Thank you. All right, so James pulled my man card. That's perfectly fine. I haven't. I haven't need to bother you to use it for years. I'm not even that worried about it. Hey, let's see. Yeah. So the State of the Union. Last night, the President finally shows up, of course, to the House of Representatives. It takes a while to get there. I mean, he's got a quick trip in the motorcade, but by the time he gets there and then through the crowd, there's a lot going on. I love every year, the people who all get up close because they want to say hi to the president and want to get a second with them, shake his hand. And it's. It's kind of a funny scene as he's walking into the room. Lots of people, a lot of Republicans, they're excited to see him. Seventy Democrats skipped the event. Seventy. Seventy. Which is amazing. And. And I loved it. I was super happy that they were skipping it. I love that they thought that this was going to be some middle finger to us.
Dan
Oh, yeah.
Vince
What happens if we don't show up? I don't know. My life gets better. I don't know. Don't threaten me with a good time. Yeah. Skip the State of the Union. And remember, the whole point of skipping the State of the Union was that they would keep Democrats under control. We get our emotional, incontinent weirdos out of the room, and then there will be no disruptions. And then the Republicans can't accuse Democrats of being psychopaths. At least that was the thinking, insofar as Hakeem Jeffries does any of that, but didn't work. Out so well, because the second the President of the United States began his speech last night, Al Green gets his ass kicked right out of the room. Watch. Here's Al Green. Cut one. Watch.
Dan
And we will never go back to where we were just a very short time ago. We're not going back today. Our border is secure.
Vince
They're chanting because Al Green's getting kicked out after making a scene. Yeah, there he goes. Yeah, the Geico caveman. They removed him from the room. And I love how he's holding up his little crappy, like, half thought out art project. He's got a piece of paper that he scribbled something in Sharpie on. Don't you think they'd put a little more effort into this? Like, you know, I thought the Democrats were supposed to be the creative types. I thought their thing was like, oh, we could do design. How about some design? How about, you know, I don't, like, get somebody to help you out with this. But there, there he goes. He scribbles in Sharpie, some idiotic sign. And I love Troy Nell. As he's walking out the room, he's trying to hold his sign up. Here's my sign. And Troy Nels just grabs it and rips it in half. Usa. Usa. Thank you, Troy Nels. I appreciate you this morning. I was glad, I'm glad they got that out of the way right away. You know, I was. Because I knew Al Green. If he was in there again, he was going to make a scene. Last year, they censured him. Remember, the House censured him. They said, you can't do that. We're going to hit you with an official censure. I don't, I don't know what's going to happen this time. Like, you know what? I hardly care. I don't think these censors even mean anything anymore. It's just like a slap on the wrist. Unless you kick them out of Congress at this point. What does it mean? These Democrats don't care about consequences. There was a time when imposing a censure would, would create a sense of shame, you would think, for a member of Congress, but these guys are shameless. Absolutely shameless. Now, President Trump did start the speech before it was so rudely interrupted by Al freaking Green. Not to be confused with the great singer. President Trump gets there and says, hey, we're basically, we're doing the great American turnaround. Like I got, I was handed a dumpster fire from Joe Biden. And here's what we've accomplished.
Dan
When I Last spoke in this chamber 12 months ago, I had just inherited a nation in crisis with a stagnant economy, inflation at record levels, a wide open border, horrendous recruitment for military and police, rampant crime at home, and wars and chaos all over the world. But tonight, after just one year, I can say with dignity and pride that we have achieved a transformation like no one has ever seen before. And a turnaround for the ages. It is indeed a turnaround for the ages.
Vince
It's so good. A turnaround for the age. He's right about that. And he ticked off all the numbers last night. He was just going down the list of, you know, all of the economic successes, how we've got so many more jobs now, how all the job gains have gone to Americans, how the federal government is shrinking, how, you know, the inflation is dropping like crazy. He's got tens of trillions of dollars of new investments. All those economic figures that we were talking about yesterday with the great E.J. antonio, our in house economist. President Trump just ran down the list yesterday and was like, we've, we've got a tremendous amount to be proud of. The State of our Union is very, very strong. In fact, here's the President saying that very phrase after running down a quick litany of the things, a quick litany of the things that are really working for the United States of America. Here he is. Take a look at this.
Dan
And for all of these reasons, I say tonight, members of Congress, the state of our Union is strong.
Vince
Yeah, baby. Look at Democrats, Democrats staying on their duffs the whole time. It was, I mean, talk. It's like pulling teeth to just to get them out of their seats. You're not going to celebrate America. The guy said the state of our Union is strong. They refuse to stand up, they refuse to support decent Americans, they refuse to support victims of horrific crimes. That was a theme of the night. If there was anyone, I mean, think about what President Trump accomplished. Not only does he celebrate our country, but he just demonstrate how cruel and brazenly dishonest these Democrats are all night long to a national audience that was seeing it across every single network because it's the State of the Union. And he had an hour and 48 minutes of this. This is the, this is a record length State of the Union. And it only beats the last guy who did it, Donald Trump. Donald Trump set the last record, too. Bill Clinton was a big talker. Bill Clinton had some long ones. But President Trump, he's been setting records. And candidly, I don't mind if Politician was running his mouth for an hour and 48 minutes. Under any other circumstance, I would not really be that interested. I probably would just ask for the highlights later. President Trump knows how to put on a show. He did. It was a riveting performance. How old is Trump now? How old is Donald Trump? I love all these like, these idiot, like blue sky conspiracy theories. He's so old and he's dying. He's 79 years old. He put up an hour and 48 minutes speech. He smacked the hell out of all the Democrats and he looked like he could have done another 30 rounds. The guy was like totally put together last night. Looked great. He introduced a bunch of athletes too. I told you Team USA men's hockey team was set to be in that room. I still think they should have put him in all the empty Democrats seats. You know, I don't even know. I don't know. Did the Democrats have like seat fellers or whatever? It did look like the floor was filled up, but 70 Democrats skipped the thing last night. So why couldn't you have the players come in? They didn't. They had the players come in the top doors of the gallery at the moment that the President introduced them. Here's that moment. President Trump introducing our gold medal winning hockey team.
Dan
Watch the men's gold medal Olympic hockey team come on in.
Vince
As they descend the steps. Gold medals on. Look at those USA swimsuits. I need one of those USA sweaters. That's awesome. So cool. Look at the press. Can we pause this? Is that possible? Is there a way to freeze frame that so that in that video, what you just saw, did you notice that the media, that's the media position in the gallery, that part that's right above President Trump. So rather than so normally, what's happening is President Trump is looking up at the gallery where the first lady's sitting and the second lady's sitting and they're sitting. They're across from him. That's where all of the distinguished visitors and guests are in this unique circumstance because they needed a spot to bring the hockey team in. They came in right above President Trump's head and that's where the press sits. So the press are all banging away on their laptops. How come they're not clapping for Team usa? I mean, what is. Sorry, would that violate your journalistic neutrality to support the country that protects your First Amendment rights to. To the press? I mean, what. Can you clap? I'm so busy typing, I don't have time to clap. The fricking Hockey teams right next to you. If the gold medalist is standing there right next to you, wouldn't you be like, hell, yeah? You're not betraying any journalistic objectivity. You're supporting the country that supports your right to be in the press. I know. Lady Roy Mustang is bewildered to the press. Clap for Team usa. Yeah, I know. It's. It's crazy. What is that? Was somebody wearing a mask on that? Is that true? Dimming lights. I see a couple people in the chat saying somebody was wearing a face diaper. It's like, what century are these people living in? You know, we really need a better media. We need a media that's more deserving of the First Amendment right that we. That we have enshrined. We need a much better media. There they are. I don't care. Clap. But people might think I like cocky. Okay, yeah, you. You stick with that. It's crazy. We honored Team usa. That was very, very cool. In fact, that ended up being the very first time in the night that any Democrats stood up. A couple of them did. So while the press couldn't bring themselves to clap, a couple of Democrats did actually finally stand up. Cut 3. Watch the President acknowledge.
Dan
That's the first time I've ever seen them get up. And actually, not all of them did get up.
Vince
Not everybody did. Some of them did. That was a miracle. Some of them did. It's like you can't. You can't stand up. And I tell you what, the left is angry about Team usa. They're not happy at all. Trump took a photo with the team yesterday. This was a. This is a great photo. Check this out. This is a President Trump, Team usa. Let me make this nice and big for you, Sam. So I know this is, like the world's worst production when I'm clicking around on my screens for you, but, you know, it's my birthday here. Look at these guys. Look. You've got the hockey team hanging out with the president. Resolute desk. They'll get. They all signed the jersey, the Team USA jersey yesterday. They all got their gold medals on at one point. They put the gold. One of the gold medalists gave it to President Trump, let him put it around his neck. It was super awesome. It was a really nice thing. And the left is super pissed about this. They're going crazy. The New York Times had an entire piece dedicated yesterday to bitching that the hockey team players like Trump. They're like, I was going great until they liked Trump. What? Are you serious? The US Men's Olympic hockey team won gold and then lost the room. What room is the New York Times even talking about? Whatever room that is, I'm glad not to be in it. I don't like that room. That room's a stupid room. Don't go that. You know, don't go to that room. Dumb room. For a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, the nation felt smaller. This America of vast divides and rickety social bridges deferred briefly to the unifying power of sports, they say. But then the next day, it didn't. In the immediate aftermath of their victory, the team took a customary congratulatory call from President Trump. And some players laughed at a misogynistic joke about the gold winning women's hockey team that many Americans wouldn't find funny. And then they go on to scold and nag the whole piece, like, oh, this is really awful. That they. That they had a good time with Trump, that they like him, that they smiled, that they thought he was funny. First of all, you, you idiots. President Trump was joking that they are not the only team who gets to come. Of course, he's got to invite the women's team, too. And he said, you know, if I don't do that, I'm going to be impeached. You know what he was talking about? Like, scolding idiotic libs like the guy who wrote the New York Times piece. That's the joke. You're the butt of the joke. Not the women. The women are great. You know, the women are on their way to the White House. The president announced last night that they're gonna be at the White House for a celebration of their accomplishments. They had a conflict last night that prevented them from being there at the State of the Union, but the president celebrated them last night. The New York Times won't admit that today. Jerry Brewer, the numb nuts who wrote this story yesterday, whatever story, this fiction, well, it's awful that the Team USA would spend any time with the President. You're a moron. You're. You're an idiot. I don't care what party the President's a part of. It's actually a really nice thing for the President of the United States to use his limited bandwidth to honor Team usa. You really have to be such a humorless scold about everything. The answer is, yes, they do. All right, I've got a lot more ahead. A lot more ahead in a very packed show. And I've barely scratched the surface of an amazing State of the Union last night. So we will continue in Just a moment. Hey, everybody. I got to tell you about a great company that powers me up every day. Powers me up every day. You know what it is? It's in this cup right now. Hold up. Oh, that's right. Blackout coffee. Great, great operation OC 2112. Love the blackout coffee. Love luv. OC 2112 loves it so much they don't even have time to spell correctly. They're like, this is how urgently they need you to know this. Love the blackout coffee. All right, let's see, what else do we have from the State of the Union besides everything? All right, so that's team usa Democrats get up for like two seconds. They kind of like, well, I guess I support them. And they kind of clap a little bit. And the New York Times is really angry about all of this. And then the president got to one of the things he does best at the State of the Union. He started honoring a lot of people. One, let's begin with the Medal of Freedom. He, he handed out a very surprise Medal of Freedom. I'm not surpr, but it came as a surprise that it happened last night in that venue because nobody knew it was going to happen here's. Team USA Hockey goalie Connor Hallibuck, who the president said can now be the Secretary of Defense. He said earlier in the day, because you know, we have a Secretary of War, Conor Hallibuck, given that he's such a great goalie, could be the Secretary of Defense. Here he is, cut 4.
Dan
The highest civilian honor in our country, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Vince
Libs are mad. Libs are mad. Seething with rage. Oh, I hate when good people get good things.
Dan
You know, great athletes have gotten that. Very great, the best. And I thought he deserved it. And I did take a vote. Every single one of them. I said, I'm not giving it if anybody goes no. And every single one of them rapidly put up their hand. So I want to thank you all. What a special job you did, what special champions you are. Thank you very much.
Vince
You know, it's funny, I was reading a Reddit forum this morning, a bunch of lefties, you know, lefties are all over Reddit and on it, they were, they were bitching about Team USA winning because they were like, I knew the second that Jack Hughes scored that goal that MAGA would claim this victory. And I hated it. That's what your thought was? You watched that on Sunday morning and you thought to yourself, crap, MAGA is going to enjoy that America won. I think your brain's broke. I think there's something very wrong with you. You seek help, go to church, figure out what's actually important in life. Stop allowing President Trump to occupy your mind rent free and leading to you being hateful of everybody. You're hateful that the Americans won because you think MAGA likes it. It's so crazy, but we do like it. So, you know, good luck with your mental health. All right, let's see. And then the President did some. He honored a couple other people. He honored World War II veteran Buddy Taggart last night. Did you see that? That was great. Great. That gentleman is 99 years old. He's going to mark his 100th birthday on July 4th of this year, 2026. The 250th year of our anniversary of our country is the 100th anniversary of Buddy Taggart. It's amazing. So that was nice, honors a couple of people. He was glancing 100. We actually had a 100 year old American great patriot last night. Also in the room, another World War II veteran the President gave a medal of honor to for his heroism in the Korean War. Phenomenal stuff. He did a bunch of honors. He honored the Coast Guardsman and a Camper from Camp Mystic. Do you remember the Camp mystic flooding last year? Those poor girls, that girls camp as they were all struggling for life. And hundreds of girls, hundreds of campers saved. Scott Ruskin was one of the heroes here. He was given the Legion of Merit last night. Right there again, just right there in the gallery. So cool. And then, and then we got to a couple of moments where the President was going through the, you know, things that have benefited the rest of us. So he was talking about how last year they passed the largest tax cut in history, and every Democrat voted against it, every single one. And he said, you know, this is crazy that you all voted against it. But he wanted, he wanted the American people to know this. So here's the President last night talking about this very thing that, hey, we passed this huge tax cut and all these Democrats, the ones who are still sitting on their asses, they voted against it. Watch.
Dan
All Democrats, every single one of them voted against these really important and very necessary massive tax cuts.
Vince
And the Democrats, look, if you can see some of this. Democrats stand up to begin applauding themselves for stopping Americans from keeping their own money.
Dan
They wanted large scale tax increases to hurt the people. Instead.
Vince
Good for President Trump. He saw the moment for what it was because Democrats stand up and they start applauding like it was a big, big victory. And the President jumps in with his own line. He goes, no, no, no. They wanted huge tax increases for the American public, which is true, because if that. You understand what would happen if the big, beautiful bill had not become law. The original Trump tax cuts would have expired. We have, we would all have seen massive tax increases if Democrats got their way. And the President was right to call them out last night. In fact, he called them out a lot with a lot of success. There was a moment last night where he, he talked about how the Democrats were guilty of a dirty lie. A dirty rotten lie. He said, they open, they, they had the Green New Deal, which was a scam. They opened our borders and they allowed criminals to run all across our country. And they lied about this. The President said, and the American people need to know this. Cut five watch.
Dan
Same people in this chamber who voted for those disasters suddenly used the word affordability. A word. They just used it. Somebody gave it to them knowing full well that they caused and created the increased prices that all of our citizens had to endure. You caused that problem. You caused that problem. They knew their statements were a lie. They knew it. They knew their statements were a dirty rotten lie. Their policies created the high prices Our policies are rapidly ending them. We are doing really well. Those prices are plummeting downward.
Vince
Praise the cameraman. I really. Well, whoever made the switching decisions last night, as the each of these moments were happening was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You see some of these moments that were like, you know, there was, there was the time when the President was introducing a young girl who was subjected to a secret gender grooming operation in Maryland. Remember this? Her name's Sage Blair. The President said, we have to stop this stuff. We can't be doing this to Americans. That's disgusting. What's happening? So he introduced Sage Blair. And then the camera cuts to that guy. What does he go by now like Sarah McBride? He calls himself something. McBride. His name's Tim McBride, the congressman. Does he go by Sarah? Is that what it is? Yes, Sarah is what he calls himself. So the camera cuts simultaneously, you get this like image of this beautiful young girl who the left tried to turn into a boy. And then you get this other image of this ugly dude dressed as a woman. And the side by side couldn't be more obvious. It's like that. This is crazy what I'm witnessing. So praise the cameraman. I mean, wonderful camera switching on this because it really, it told us the whole story. And there was a lot of that last night. In fact, on that particular thing, when the President was talking about how it's nuts that the left has been transitioning children, he, he straight up gestures to that side of the room at one point. He did. This is going to become a meme. President Trump gesturing to the Democrats just doing this the whole night. I'm telling you already, that's going to be a meme. That's going to be a huge meme if it's not already all over the Internet. Here's the President last night saying, can you even believe that this is happening in the United States of America? In his words, these people are crazy.
Dan
Agree. No state can be allowed to rip children from their parents arms and transition them to a new gender against the parents will. Who would believe that we're even talking about. We must ban it and we must ban it immediately.
Vince
Look at them sitting. They're all sitting. The Democrats are on their, on their butts.
Dan
Look, nobody stands up. These people are crazy. I'm telling you, they're crazy. Ladies and gentlemen. Boy, oh boy, we're lucky we have a country with people like this. Democrats are destroying our country. But we've stopped it just in the nick of time, didn't we?
Vince
Oh, my God. Democrats are destroying our country. But we stopped it just in the nick of time. Ain't that the truth? These people are crazy. The camera cuts to Ro Khanna. He just smirks. These Democrats all sitting down. What did President Trump say? He just said we shouldn't groom children, we shouldn't put them under the knife, we shouldn't transition them, we shouldn't abuse them. Why can't you stand up for that? These people are crazy, man. He has no more Fs to give, does he's not trying to screet talk any of these people at all. All right, I've got more for you. Last night he said we got to get health care costs down. We're working really hard to get health care costs down right now. And sure enough, he called out Obamacare for what it is. Nothing but a crony operation to enrich the big insurance companies. I loved this moment. Here's President Trump cut sex Watch.
Dan
I'm also confronting one of the biggest rip offs of our times, the crushing cost of health care caused by you. Since the passage of the Unaffordable Care act, sometimes referred to as Obamacare, big insurance company has gotten rich.
Vince
Oh, and he just kept just body blow after body blow after body blow against Obamacare, which has become so absurd, absurdly unaffordable. Which he's right, it is the Unaffordable Care Act. That would be the accurate name for it. It's not even care. It's the Unaffordable Lack of Care Act. It's just insane what's happening. And you know, as we discussed at length last year, remember what the big fight was as Democrats were shutting the government down? What did they want in exchange for getting the government back open? They wanted to pass a cover up of their own. Obamacare health care cost increases. That's it. And how do they cover it up with your tax dollars? So health care is so expensive they Want to steal more money from you in order to orchestrate a cover up to prevent people from knowing that that's how Democrats operate. And does it help you? Has it improved your health care? Do you get to see the same doctor you used to? No. Everybody's deductibles and premiums are going up. It's been insane. You can thank Obamacare for that. You can thank Obamacare for that. That's real. It's completely out of control. And the president's been working to bring these health care costs down. He announced last night, you've heard him talk about this before, that he wants to stop sending money to insurance companies. He wants to send it instead directly back to American citizens so they can buy whatever it is that they want instead of letting these insurance companies take tons of money from the rest of us. That and the Democrats all sitting there on their asses doing nothing, not, not applauding, not happy about it. Because, you know, they're trying to, you know, just keep getting their palms greased, dealing this messy money, steal money from you, enrich the insurance companies. The president's saying no more. No more of that. He also talked about how he's trying to bring down the cost of prescription drugs last night through this most favored nation status fight, which is like, look, no more. Should American taxpayers be subsidizing the R and D of all of these drugs and then they get sold for discount prices overseas. That's not happening anymore. You will make it drug companies. So your lowest price, whatever you sell around the planet, that's the price you charge in the United States of America. That's what the President is doing. And again, you would think all these Democrats, if they had any principles whatsoever other than, you know, their own power, which seems to be the only principle they're interested in, if they had any principles whatsoever, they'd be standing up and applauding this. They're not. They're not. Just to make it clear on whose side they are, the President also called for a ban on congressional insider trading last night. I loved this moment. And then he called out Nancy Pelosi very directly. Cut seven. Here it is.
Dan
Let's also ensure that members of Congress cannot corruptly profit from using insider information.
Vince
Democrats applauding some.
Dan
They stood up for that. I can't believe. I can't believe it. Did Nancy Pelosi stand up if she was here? Doubt it. Pass the Stop Insider Trading act without delay.
Vince
Did Nancy Pelosi stand up? God, the guy. Oh, my God. I don't know. Do we deserve this guy. He's unbelievable. The greatest insult comic in all of American politics. Did Nancy Pelosi stand up? Gosh, that's fantastic. That wasn't in the script, to be clear, that she was on TV later, of course I stood up. I was standing. I was standing. Yeah, sure you were. These people are crazy. These people are crazy. Did Nancy Pelosi stand up? He also went after another crazy Democrat, Ilhan Frickin Omar. Remember I was telling you that the cameraman was doing a great job last night, that the patrol booth was doing a great job last night as they were switching cameras, there's one moment where the President was talking about Somali pirates and the plundering of America by the Somali community. Ilhan Omar was not happy about this. And we knew that because the camera cut directly to her very bitter and screeching face. Here's that moment last night. Cut eight.
Dan
But when it comes to the corruption, that is plunging, really, it's plundering America. There's been no more stunning example than Minnesota, where members of the Somali community have pillaged an estimated $19 billion from the America taxpayer. We have all the information and in actuality the number is much higher than that. And California, Massachusetts, Maine and many other states are even worse. This is the kind of corruption that shreds the fabric of a nation. And we are working on it like you wouldn't believe. So tonight, although started four months ago, I am officially announcing the war on fraud to be led by our great vice president, J.D. vance.
Vince
Yeah, so that camera shot cuts to Ilhan just where she, like, licks her lips or whatever. I don't know, maybe she saw her brother or something. But the point is they. They cut to that image and it's like, you know, they know, they know. And that's because she was running her mouth during that whole sequence. She's like screaming. And the President's like, look, we got the receipts. We got everything. $19 billion in fraud. We're not going to be taken advantage of anymore. What do you want the President to do? To pretend he was like, I can't believe it was every community that was doing this. No, it wasn't every community. It was a Somali community specifically. Still, $19 billion from American taxpayers. That's the. That's bigger than the GDP of a bunch of countries combined. Yeah, we can't let that happen anymore. And of course, Ilhan Omar wants that to happen. There she is. So, and then, and then it's Great. You know, J.D. vance is the right guy for that. Job, you know, in charge, ultimately, as the President said, of dealing with fraud and getting rid of it. This comes at the same time. Remember, connect something here. Remember the. The President announced that he put a new assistant Attorney General in place whose job it is to tackle fraud nationwide, who doesn't even report directly to the Attorney general. That guy reports directly to the White House, to J.D. vance. So they've taken all the friction out of going after this, and now you've got the best guys in America dedicated to it. President serious about it. I love it. And if he has even 10% of the success that he's had on our border, we're going to have massive success in tackling fraud. Now, speaking of our border, there was an amazing moment last night, an amazing moment last night where the President subjected members of Congress to a simple test. If you agree with the following sentiment, please stand. And if you don't, go ahead and stay seated. Here's the President of the United States. Cut nine, Watch.
Dan
So tonight, I'm inviting every legislature to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.
Vince
The Democrats stay in their seats. The President chattering to them. This takes a while because the applause keeps going from the Republican side. I mean, look, I want to. I'm going to. I'm going to go back to that video in a moment because I've got. I've got an extended version I'm going to show you with the President responding to what the Democrats did there. But let me emphasize something really important for you here. This was a masterstroke by the White House, by President Trump and his team. They built this into the speech. They said, stand up if you agree that the American government should serve American citizens and not illegal aliens. The Democrats are in a no win situation here. No win. There's nothing they could do that would be victory. Now, they chose the worst possible decision, which is keep their asses in their seats, because it just demonstrated immediately to the American public that they disagree with that sentiment, that Americans should serve instead illegal aliens first and not American citizens. Perfect. You want to take that message into the midterms? Now you're on camera doing it. So the Republicans should run that every day until the midterms. Masterstroke. Masterstroke. But think about the alternative. If those Democrats had actually stood up and said, I agree with that sentiment. It should be for American citizens and not for illegal aliens. It would demonstrate to the American people that they're frauds. How come all these illegal aliens came in? Who let them in? It was those Democrats. And then they, in other words, they know better and yet they still screw you over. No matter what they did yesterday. That was a loser for those Democrats. And they chose the worst possible option, which is to stay seated. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. And the President didn't let that moment pass. He dwelled on it. He said, he. I'm going to. Let me show you this. Let me pull to the end of this clip because this is, I think, one of the most important elements here. Okay, Here. So this is. Well, I, I, I, I've queued it up. Here we go. Here's. You can see they'll cut. It cuts to Mark Kelly and Alyssa Slotkin looking miserable jackasses, just like sitting down for illegal aliens. Watch, there's Mark Kelly. What a tool. What a loser. He's angry that President Trump just put him in this position. Look at that Alyssa Slock in there. Miserable, slow blinking and anger. All right, the applause almost finishing here. I'm telling you, these clips are difficult because the Republicans applauded for so long. Here, here's the President.
Dan
Isn't that a shame? You should be ashamed of yourself not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Vince
You should be ashamed of yourself for not standing up. Good for the President. Man. Man, this guy knows how to use these moments, doesn't he? These people are crazy. President of the United States had a couple of other moments that I want to dwell on with you. One of them is the honored Charlie Kirk. Last night, he welcomed Erica Kirk as a guest to the State of the Union. He acknowledged her presence in the gallery of the house. And he talked about a resurgence of faith in the United States. He says, I've noticed something, especially in the last year, a lot of Americans are going back to church. They're returning to faith. Because one of the big reasons that's happening, especially among young people, is our friend Charlie. The first day of the Union since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. The President made sure not to allow the event to pass without acknowledging his great work in life. Cut 11. Watch.
Dan
Last year, Charlie was violently murdered by an assassin and martyred, really martyred for his beliefs. His wonderful wife Erica is with us tonight. Erica, please stand.
Vince
Chance of Charlie in the room.
Dan
Thank you, Erica. Been through a lot in Charlie's memory. We must all come together to reaffirm that America is one nation under God. And we must totally reject political violence of any kind.
Vince
We must Totally reject political violence of any kind. Do you hear that message? On the left are Democrats saying that they have a very violent, weak and vicious minded base right now. An assassination culture that's everywhere. Just this past week, a man tried to go to Mar a Lago with a shotgun and a tank of gasoline. The President lives there. It's not that crazy to think he was looking for the President. Something very dangerous going on in the country. The President reflecting on the greatness of Charlie Kirk and saying we need to stop political violence of any kind in the United States of America. He is the bigger man. He is the much bigger man. He's a decent man. Presenting that message last night, also in the room, this was a surprise to me. I didn't realize she would be there. The mother of Irina Zarutska, remember Irina Zarudska, was escaped war torn Ukraine, only to be savagely murdered last year in Charlotte, North Carolina by a criminal that Democrats just kept releasing back out onto the streets. And he ended up on a bus right behind or train right behind Irina Zarutska and he stabbed her in the neck. Brutal murder. Horrifying. Horrifying murder that shocked the conscience of our nation. The President has not forgotten that Irina Zaruska's mother in attendance last night. Cut 12.
Dan
Last summer, 23 year old Irina was riding home on the train when a deranged monster who had been arrested over a dozen times and was released through no cash bail stood up and viciously slashed a knife through her neck and body. No one will ever forget there were people on that train. No one will ever forget the expression of terror on Irina's face as she looked up at her attacker in the last seconds of her life. She died instantly. She had escaped a brutal war only to be slain by a hardened criminal set free to kill in America, came in through open borders. Mrs. Zareczka, tonight I promise you, we will ensure justice for your magnificent daughter, Irina. How do you not stand? How do you not stand? I'm asking this Congress to pass tough legislation to ensure that violent and dangerous repeat offenders are put behind bars and importantly that they stay there.
Vince
How do you not stand? President Trump had truly has no Fs to give. Do you notice that? Not even in describing those horrifying moments. Arena Zarutska's murder, Charlie Kirk's murder, he didn't use euphemisms. He didn't gently describe any of this. He just described it bluntly, realistically. He presented these stories last night in a way that you could not miss their gravity. These emotional Responses from the family members who have lost their loved ones. And then the callousness of the Democrats who stayed in their seats, who couldn't even stand up to support people who've lost their loved ones in the most brutal of ways. Brutal, brutal, brutal ways. I think the United States of America was given a real lesson last night in terms of who is on their side and who's not. Let me close with some happier news than the callous behavior of Democrats and dwelling on the loss of Irina Zyrutska. God willing, that doesn't happen anymore thanks to the, the efforts that President Trump is undertaking right now. I mentioned that there were, there was a Medal of Honor given last night. One was given to a World War II hero by the name of Royce Williams. Last night. He, he had a great story. He, he served in multiple wars, including the Korean War. And he was in what the president referred to as the dog fight of a lifetime. And last night he was presented at 100 years old with a Medal of Honor. What a. What, what. These are great moments. Here's the first lady presenting it to him. The smile on his face. That's a man who knows the value of what he's just been given and what it took to earn that. What a sweet smile. Some Democrats finally standing. A beautiful moment. A beautiful moment delivered by a beautiful woman. There's Melania Trump presenting it. By the way, Baron was right next to her. I did say in an earlier episode, ladies and gentlemen, remember that I think it was, we were talking about Kalshee Prediction Markets, about whether or not Barron would be there. And I was a little skeptical. I was like, Baron might be busy. I don't know. Does he go to the State of the Union all the time? Well, there he is, all six foot whatever of them. The guy's huge. There's Baron Trump. He was there last night alongside his mother and the, and the whole family. That's, it was great. It was just great to see everybody there. Everybody looked great, celebrating a great night. And then that was not the only Medal of Honor that was dispensed last night. Additionally, we had a pilot who was piloting a Chinook in the Maduro raid in Venezuela. His name is Eric Slaver. And the president presented him with a Medal of Honor last night. That the hits just kept on coming. Here's that moment last night. As you can see him, he, now he's got a walker, but there he is, standing with pride as he receives a Medal of Honor directed by the President of the United States. Last night.
Dan
So we have a surprise for Eric and Amy. In recognition of Eric's actions above and beyond the call of duty, I would now like to ask General Jonathan Braga to present Chief Warrant Officer Professor Slover with our nation's highest military award, the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Vince
Amazing. Amazing. Look at him. You can tell he's a little emotional, but he's keeping together. Composed. Somebody in the chat says he looks like Superman. Yeah, he does. What a stud. What a stud. Just absolutely great moment. God bless him. God bless our troops. I agree, Pops. The onions are getting cut again. Holy cow. What a night. What a night. What a president. What a president. Holy cow. There are still great men out there. And so many of them were in that room last night. Here's the President of the United States ending last night with a celebration of America. We can't end with it without ending the way the President wanted to. Last night, a celebration of our great country, the United States of America. And the best is yet to come. Here's the President of the United States. State of the Union 2026. The 250th anniversary of our country.
Dan
A nation to work his miracles. He knows exactly who to ask. There is no challenge Americans cannot overcome. No frontier too vast for us to conquer. No dream too bold for us to chase. No horizon too distant for us to claim. For our destiny is written by the hand of Providence. And these first 250 years were just the beginning. From the rugged border towns of Texas to the heartland villages of Michigan. From the sun kissed shores of Florida to the endless fields of the Dakotas. And from the historic streets of Philadelphia to right here in our Nation's capital, Washington D.C. the Golden Age of America is upon us. Us. The revolution that began in 1776 has not ended, it still continues. Because the flame of liberty and independence still burns in the heart of every American patriot. And our future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder and more glorious than ever before. Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.
Vince
Democrats charged out of the room. Republican standing ovation. I know what side of the aisle I'm on. I'm on the side that loves America. And I know you are too. What a. What a great country we have. Episode 233 | February 25, 2026 | Cumulus Podcast Network
Vince dives deep into President Trump’s record-length 2026 State of the Union address, marking the nation’s 250th anniversary. He mixes sharp conservative analysis with signature entertainment, highlighting the speech’s celebration of American strength, memorable confrontations with Democrats, and patriotic Olympic moments. The episode balances heavy political critique with lighter personal moments—including Vince’s own birthday celebration.
"…after just one year... we have achieved a transformation like no one has ever seen before. And a turnaround for the ages."
– President Trump (11:10)
"Watch the men's gold medal Olympic hockey team come on in." (14:32)
"How come they’re not clapping for Team USA?... The fricking Hockey team’s right next to you. If the gold medalist is standing there right next to you, wouldn’t you be like, hell, yeah?" (15:05)
"First of all, you, you idiots. President Trump was joking… You really have to be such a humorless scold about everything." (20:50)
"Every single one of them rapidly put up their hand." – Trump (24:15)
Trump brags about massive tax cuts; all Democrats voted against them.
"Democrats stand up to begin applauding themselves for stopping Americans from keeping their own money." (27:26)
Trump labels Democrat statements about affordability as “a dirty rotten lie.”
"Their policies created the high prices. Our policies are rapidly ending them. We are doing really well. Those prices are plummeting downward." (29:17)
"He straight up gestures to that side of the room at one point. He did. This is going to become a meme."
"No state can be allowed to rip children from their parents’ arms and transition them to a new gender against the parents’ will… We must ban it and we must ban it immediately." (31:35 – Trump)
"Look, nobody stands up. These people are crazy. I’m telling you, they’re crazy. Ladies and gentlemen." (32:01)
Trump denounces the "Unaffordable Care Act" as a scam enriching insurers.
"It’s the Unaffordable Lack of Care Act. It’s just insane what’s happening." (37:08)
Outlines plan: stop subsidies to insurers, give money directly to citizens, force drug companies to offer lowest global prices.
Trump calls for a congressional insider trading ban, specifically jabbing at Nancy Pelosi.
"Did Nancy Pelosi stand up? God, the guy. Oh, my God. I don’t know. Do we deserve this guy. He’s unbelievable. The greatest insult comic in all of American politics." (40:13)
Announces a "war on fraud" led by VP J.D. Vance, citing $19B in losses in Somali-American communities—camera cuts to fuming Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Trump puts Congress to the test:
"If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens." (44:43)
Most Democrats remain seated; Vince calls it a "masterstroke"—trapping Democrats in an unwinnable situation.
Trump:
"You should be ashamed of yourself not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself." (48:38)
"Last year, Charlie was violently murdered by an assassin…We must all come together to reaffirm that America is one nation under God. And we must totally reject political violence of any kind." (49:43)

Trump’s closing words summon national optimism:
"For our destiny is written by the hand of Providence. And these first 250 years were just the beginning… the Golden Age of America is upon us…" (59:12 – President Trump)
Vince: "Democrats charged out of the room. Republican standing ovation. I know what side of the aisle I’m on. I’m on the side that loves America." (60:36)
Vince delivers a high-energy, entertaining conservative commentary full of patriotism, salty humor, and deep frustration with Democratic lawmakers and the media. He leans into nationalistic pride, athletic glory, respect for the military, and traditional values, while consistently mocking the left’s perceived inaction and hypocrisy. The episode’s final mood is one of both celebration and combative optimism—capturing the show’s essence for listeners who want more than just a recap.
