And people keep on assuming that I've got all the intel you're like, well, you know, Dan, what's actually happening? Who's being arrested, what's going. I'm telling you, I'm just divining most of this the same way you're divining this. I try and talk to people, find out more information, but again, it was a source of great frustration and it's a credit to Dan, by the way, because there's lots of people who could have entered that world and then just been just running their mouth all the time. The guy didn't do that. The guy didn't do that. And so we, we see this week in the Southern Poverty Law center indictment kind of the fruits of Dan's labors. Actually, not kind of literally the fruits of Dan's labors. We see what they were investigating and why that, you know, it was under seal, but now it's all free. Now it's in the public. A massive indictment announced this week as the Southern Poverty Law center gets slapped with 11 charges. And they involve funding KKK guys and Neo Nazis, laundering the money, creating this fraudulent environment where they claim that they were tackling hate crimes, but instead they were stoking hate in order to make it seem like they had some noble mission, something to confront. It's like as sinister as it gets. It's like a, it's like one of these sort of demented Lex Luthor style movie plots. It's crazy. You know, they're like Batman villains. And here they are at scale causing all of this fraud. And, and I noticed, and this came up in our conversation yesterday, I noticed in October of last year that the FBI had cut the Southern Poverty Law center off entirely. And it was back then that you had, you had the media accusing the Trump administration of hating civil rights, being against black people, being against minorities or whatever, accusing them of bigotry for cutting the Southern Poverty Law center off. And I said to Daniel, dan, you cut them off because they were a criminal enterprise. You knew it, you couldn't say anything about it. And now the rest of the world knows about it. It's just, it's just an amazing sequence of events. And it's a reminder that these things, as frustrating as they are. Talk about frustrating. They take time. The pursuit of justice takes time. If you're going to do it right, it takes time. What do they say in the military? Slow is fast. Is that, is that, that an expression, you veterans? I feel like that's a shooting expression. Right? Slow is fast sometimes in order to do things the right way. Yes, slow is fast and fast is Smooth. Slow is fast and fast is smooth. Sometimes in order to do things the right way, it's going to take some time. It's going to take some time. And, and so now we, you know, we're kind of, we're kind of waiting right now for, you know, what comes next with, with these guys with the grand conspiracy case down in Florida. But let me just tell you something about the left. The left is freaking out right now that we found the Southern Poverty Law Center. It reminds me of, you remember when President Trump took down Doge, or not took down Doge, but advanced Doge, took down USAID, took down all of this rampant fraudulent funding for NGOs. Remember all this? You remember the freak out that we saw? You remember the freak out? The freakout was out of control. You had members of Congress standing outside of USAID protesting like lunatics as if the rest of the country was obsessed with usaid. In fact, I would venture a bet that most of the country hadn't even really heard of usaid. Or if they had heard of it, they hadn't really put much thought into what it was, was. It sounded like some sort of, you know, generic feel good humanitarian operation. Usaid, usaid, it's probably helping people, whatever. The Democrats were standing outside that building like it was like, like, like the whole world was collapsing. I can't believe what Donald Trump is doing. And the rest of us are going, thank God Donald Trump is doing this. Well, it's happening again. It's happening again. Yeah. No, that's right. People are pointing out in the chat this is how Tesla's got attacked. This is, this is, this is why the left started leading terror attacks on Tesla dealerships all across the country. God bless Elon, baby. I mean, Elon Musk. Boy, has your opinion of Elon Musk changed through the years? Mine has. I, I'm like all on board with Elon now. I think Elon's great. I think he's been, he's been wonderful, man the Thomas Edison of our time. But the guy jumps in, he helps the government out, and he starts purging all of this wasteful spending and the left goes crazy. We found their stash. We found their stash. It's like we found their stack of pornos and they're trying to claim it's not theirs, it's not mine, it's not mine. Yeah, okay. Yeah, we found them and we found them again. The Southern Poverty Law Center. So the structure here of how the SPLC was moving all this money, no doubt this Is the template for the way the left takes money, fleeces donors, steals from federal taxpayers in a lot of cases, and then uses it to advance chaos. This is the template, what you saw yesterday in the Southern Poverty Law center indictment two days ago now. And so that's why they're freaking out. So all over x today I'm seeing these. These Democrats posting the Southern Poverty Law center doesn't deserve this. How dare you. Donald Trump is doing awful things. This is so mean. Here's Chuck Schumer whining, whining about the Southern Poverty Law center being prosecuted yesterday. Here's Chuck cut one.

Every day, Cash Patel remains in this job as another day that undermines the FBI and its mission. Take yesterday's press conference. The head of the FBI, the nation's top law enforcement officer, spent the entire time getting into fights with reporters about his alleged drunken behavior, his partying, his overall fitness for the job. This becomes a dangerous, unacceptable distraction for the FBI, which has so much important work to do. Donald Trump has led us to war right now against Iran, a nation known for sophisticated cyber attacks. Why is Kash Patel not focused on that? Why is Kash Patel not focused on the serious threats facing his country every day?

He is.

These stories of misconduct, persistent, they undermine the mission of the FBI. Every day, these questions about Patel, his behavior, his character linger. They weaken confidence in the leadership, wrap up smears. Important law enforcement agencies in the world. Cash Patel must resign immediately. He's not a serious person. He has not shown that he has the skills required for the job. And the last few days have shown he does not have the judgment to lead an agency like the FBI. This is what happens when Trump just chooses acolytes, hilarious people who suck up to him for important jobs.

He's so mad.

That shouldn't be any criteria in choosing the head of the FBI.

Instead, it seems to be Trump's only criteria. And it puts him in trouble. It puts him in the hot seat, in the frying pan, over and over again.

Steady, sober leadership from their FBI director, especially during a time of war. Cash Patel is not it. And if Cash Patel wants to keep partying, he can do it somewhere else without putting the safety of the American people online.

What a toll. That's just. You mad? You mad? You mad? Remember that dude who appeared on Bill O'Reilly years ago? Who was that rapper? He was sitting there. He just said he spent the whole interview going, you mad? You mad? Chuck Schumer, you mad? I love how this guy can't even grill a cheeseburger. He has no idea what he's talking about. Actually, all he's doing is the same thing these Democrats always do when we catch them. They just advance wrap up smears. So now he's like, oh, Cash Patel's an awful person. Really? He's an awful person because last I checked, they're prosecuting everybody under the sun. They've got murders down to record lows. They're stopping the fentanyl inflows. The FBI has joined the immigration mission to secure our border, which is at the securest level we've ever seen. And you're whining on the Senate floor that the SPLC has been taken out, that somebody's finally cracking down on a left wing fraudulent operation. A big one. Just wait until we get to act blue. Okay, so we get this ruling out of Tazewell, Virginia, the Tazwellian devil. This judge comes out and he says, you know what? Where this is a completely unconstitutional election that happened this week. Tell me why.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

So first of all, it wasn't done before the referendum because Virginia legal precedent says that you wait until after it's part of the legislative process. This judge moved very quickly. There are four different state constitutional problems with the referendum, Vince. Three of them relate to the referendum itself and one is Judge, just because of how incredibly gerrymandered the proposed maps are. And this judge had ruled on two of the process problems earlier and the Supreme Court held that appeal like I said, until after the referendum. So those two issues are in front of the Virginia Supreme Court. Yesterday this judge heard argument and ruled on the third process challenge. Really brazen violation of the state constitution by the Democrat General Assembly. And because he found them in violation, he enjoined counting the votes and certifying the election. So it's frozen in place for now. We'll see if the Virginia Supreme Court lifts that. But either way, the Virginia Supreme Court is moving very fast itself. They are receiving briefing today on those first two issues that I mentioned are already in front of them with oral arguments scheduled as I understand it, for Monday. So this is going to move very, very quickly. And because of the brazenness of the constitutional violations, I expect the Supreme Court to throw this referendum out.

What are the primary constitutional violations here?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

So like a lot of states, Virginia has a process to amend its own constitution that includes passing the amendment two different times through the General assembly, which with an election in between. Well, the idea being that you get to hold the delegates accountable before they pass it a second time.

[Vince]

Right.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

And as you know, of course, because you did a lot of reporting on it, we had an election in Virginia last year, 2025, we got our moderate governor, Abigail Spanberger, and the House of Delegates was up for election as well. And last time the Democrats had full control back around 2020, they gave us 45 day elections. And so the election of 2025 began on September 19, but the general assembly didn't pass the first proposed, it's called first passage of the proposed amendment until Halloween last year. Over a million people had already voted and they want that election to count as the intervening election required explicitly in The Virginia constitution. And I think they're very, very hard time with that. It is kind of funny to see them hoisted on their 45 hard here.

[Vince]

Yes. Like it's the only time they recognize an individual Election day is when they can steal power.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

No. And that's what they're arguing, Vince. They're arguing the election day is the day we count. That's election day. It isn't all these days. We're voting now. Their problem with that is the issue in front of the Tazewell judge yesterday was the second passage of the constitutional Amendment, which happened January 19th of this year. And the same provision of the state constitution requires 90 days to pass from the second passage of a proposed amendment until it is submitted to the voters. That's the language of the constitutional amendment. And the vote, of course, finished Tuesday, April 21st. Well, that's 90 days after January 19th. But again, we have 45 days of voting in Virginia. People started voting on March 6th. That's when it was submitted to the voters.

Yes.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

And this is a very brazen violation of the timing requirements. And it's interesting here because the no side, my side, really played catch up. We were outspent three or four to one. But even the money that came in came in late. And so the. The no performance really improved near the end. We won election day. They barely won early voting by about a point and a half. They won mail in voting by something like 45 points.

Yes.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Even though it was only about 12% of the total votes, it was such a massive margin that it swamped the other two categories.

[Vince]

Can you.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

And mail voting takes a while to. To bring together for your team. So late money keeps you out of that game.

[Vince]

Okay, tell me. There's a. I'm getting a lot of questions about how the votes were counted on election day. Just. I want to go just straight to the question of the tally at the end of the night, because there were. Because people are talking about, well, northern Virginia suddenly, you know, basically. Yes. Caught up dramatically. What are the mechanics there? And is there any cause for suspicion on your part? What. What do you view the issue there?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

The mechanics in Virginia are that the urban areas are so big that they're very slow to come in. And that may be partly intentional. There's no question about it. But. So Fairfax always comes in last or not last, but very late. So you see a shift to the blue side in every election as the night goes on. So when I saw that we were. The no side was winning by six points at around 8:30 I thought, oh, this isn't enough because I know how those votes come in later in the night. And mail in voting, as I said, was a 45 point margin in their favor.

[Vince]

And.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

And mail votes are allowed to keep coming in for another till tomorrow. Really. So the margin is going to trickle a little wider.

[Dan Bongino]

I love.

[Vince]

They're still coming in. It's so crazy. This is. We're trying to stop that nonsense. Okay, so tell me about the Supreme Court of Virginia. How much can we trust their judgment here? Are they, are they a reliable body?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

You know, Vince, I think they are. And it's four or three Republican appointees. They certainly all know they're never getting reappointed with this General Assembly. Our General assembly appoints judges. So with this radical General assembly, that that's not happening. But more than that, even the Democrat judges I think are going to look at this and see that it is so brazen that they can't bring themselves to part ways with what I expect the Republican judges do. You could see a 70 ruling on the two particular constitutional violations that I mentioned to you. Maybe not seven. Oh, on all four constitutional violations, but I think on the two that I just referenced to you, we could see seven zero rulings.

[Vince]

Doesn't it matter that the new map is in no way actual communities like, it's like designed to, to straight up destroy real.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Yeah. So Vince, that's the fourth constitutional challenge. We actually have a compactness and contiguity requirement in the Virginia Constitution. And this is the most gerrymandered map in Virginia of yours in my lifetime.

[Vince]

Yes.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

So it is the most vulnerable map I've ever seen to the compactness challenge under the Virginia Constitution. So I think that's the weakest of the four challenges, but really what it is is the least strong of the four challenges because all four constitutional challenges are very strong on a legal basis basis.

[Vince]

But if that's a part of the Constitution and it's not enforced here, then that that section has no meaning.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Yeah, if this map. Yeah, if this map doesn't violate it, you can pretty much write that provision off as ever mattering. I agree with you on that. But we won't get to that argument unless the Democrats win on all three procedural arguments. The no side only has to win one argument. If this is unconstitutional on any basis, then it's done, it's thrown out. And you never get to judging the map itself, which is a statutory creature that doesn't come into being unless you get rid of the current maps, which is what the referendum did, it's remarkable.

[Vince]

Let's. So just, just to be clear on the timeline like it, let's assume for a moment the unfortunate event that we lose here and that they get their new maps.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Yeah.

[Vince]

Wouldn't that require a pretty rapid fire electoral process to start picking. We have people to be like primary candidates and then the whole scheme, it's going to take a series of elections, right?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Yeah. The whole scheme is going to be accelerated. But I will say that in anticipation of that, Governor Spanberger, remember she opposed gerrymandering and the Democrat General assembly moved our primaries from June to August to buy more time. That being said.

[Vince]

Yeah.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

The courts understand that all of your points are valid. I mean even a, even a third week of August primary, the voting starts in the beginning of July. That's the voting. So candidate qualification and everything else has to happen before that, obviously. And so I think the court's going to move very fast. I would be surprised if the ruling takes beyond the middle of May from the Virginia Supreme Court.

[Vince]

That's coming really soon. Okay. So you, as I understand it, I've seen you doing some posting on this. You're optimistic about this ruling. You think that, that we won't have a rigged election come November. Tell me about.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

If I, if I were a betting man, I would definitely be betting on the no side for sure in court.

[Vince]

This is, I mean that's, that's a pretty big deal. I mean that's, that's, that's more optimism than we're used to. Ken, we're well used to this kind of optimism.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

You and I have talked for many years. You know that optimism is not my forte.

[Vince]

Right.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

And yet. And I'm a bit of an idealist, but I don't see this court parting ways with the Virginia Constitution so far that they allow this referendum to stand. It's just too brazen and naked.

[Vince]

It really is. And then finally, on the brazenness of it, the language of the actual vote about restoring fairness. Do you want to restore fairness or not? And, and I had some listeners early in the process contact me and tell me I had a family member who voted yes because they were mistaken. They, they were misled by the referendum. They didn't realize they should have voted no. And does that play a role here in defeating this or is that not as big of a deal?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

I don't think it's as big a deal. I think it's, it is powerful from a persuasiveness standpoint. And the judge in Tazewell Yesterday did include that as a basis. He called it misleading. We have what's called a plain English rule for our ballot language. We do not have a neutrality rule. But his ruling essentially was that it violated the plain English rule, that calling this fair violated plain English and was so misleading that it was disqualifying. So he. He found that even on a statutory basis, I think that the court, the Supreme Court of Virginia, will decide this on a state constitutional basis, not on that basis.

[Vince]

Okay. And then finally, there's lots of. I've seen a lot of people come up with these ideas on, like how to resolve this, and here's one I'll just throw at you. Should Virginia's. The portion of Virginia that was once a part of Washington, D.C. alexandria, Arlington. Should we restore the square? Should we make D.C. a square again and then make Virginia a red state? You think that's a good idea?

[Ken Cuccinelli]

So if D.C. were 10 miles square, I would have won my governor's race 13 years ago, but this referendum would have still squeaked by, just so people know. And Spanberger would have still won by double digits. I think a better idea is to take the populated side portions of D.C. today, give them to Maryland, and leave only government buildings, non residential government buildings, as part of the District of Columbia, forever eliminate the possibility that D.C. could be a state and leave those three electoral votes at zero. Every presidential election, yes, Maryland gets one more congressman, but we forever get rid of the threat of D.C. as a state.

Yeah, that'd be great. But also, every time you make an offer like that, it really exposes that the left doesn't want that. They want more senators. They always.

[Ken Cuccinelli]

Right, of course.

It's a scam. It's all a scam.

You know, I really, I think by now DeSantis and President Trump have patched things up. I keep seeing reports that DeSantis would love to work with President Trump in the administration. We've seen speculation lately that he might, he would love to be the Secretary of War or the Attorney General or something. Okay, maybe. I mean, but, but right now, candidly, you know, Pete Hegseth, I think he's doing a great job. He's cleaning up that place. He's got the morale actually getting boosted. Getting rid of the DEI stuff and refocusing the military on lethality. The stuff that the military is supposed to be focused on excellence and not on left wing social engineering. So I think Hegseth's doing a great job there. And then, you know, Todd Blanche, man, what is this audition? You know, right now he's in this, like, you know, acting attorney general phase, but they're bringing prosecutions and they're cracking down on people. They're moving the grand conspiracy case. They just hired Joe diGenova to join that operation. I mean, they've got. He's doing so much great stuff in such a concentrated period of time right now that I'm wondering, I have been thinking, obviously, part of this is just like the passage of time. Like, he's, he's arriving at the right time for all of this stuff to come to fruition. But part of me thinks, like, what if Todd Blanche is just undergoing this big audition right now, trying to prove to Trump that he's the guy for the job by being this kind of aggressive, it almost makes me want him to stay as acting AG for a long, for a long time. Why don't we just keep him in this sort of, like, middle ground role where he's constantly trying to impress the President of the United States and by extension, us, the American voter. Might be good. Might be good. And also for those of you in Florida, you probably want Ron DeSantis down there. Oh, that's right. Yeah. The Supreme Court. Lisa Allen said that. Lisa Allen, 13. That's right. That was the other rumor this week, is that he would love to be on the United States Supreme Court. He's an attorney. DeSantis is. Could be very good. I mean, yeah, it could be very good. In the event that the President has to pick a new Supreme Court justice. A lot of rampant speculation about, you know, is Sam Alito going to retire? And at what point does Justice Thomas retire? If those things happen, it could be important to get a guy like Ron DeSantis in. And you got to think about the math that President Trump is dealing with right now, and the Supreme Court for that matter. The guys on the court, the Alitos, the Thomases, the guys who really care about our country, what are they thinking here? Because. Because one, it'd be great to have them around forever, but truth is, none of us can live forever. None of us can live forever. At some point, you got to check out and when do you go? Right now, we have a Republican Senate. The odds of keeping a Republican Senate are actually relatively high. Despite what you're hearing in the media, we do have a very good shot of keeping and even growing the Republican Senate this year, which is what you need for a Supreme Court confirmation. You know, is there an electoral advantage to having a vacancy on the court? Maybe it could backfire. You could, you could invoke, you could inspire the left to, to show up like crazy to the polls to stop a Supreme Court justice from emerging. That could happen. So that's, that's the kind of math they're doing behind the scenes. Because, you know, remember, one of the big helpful reasons that President Trump got elected in the first place is Supreme Court picks. That's why people. There was a meaningful percentage of the population that voted for Trump because they needed a great pick for that Supreme Court vacancy. That, that was Mitch McConnell's last great achievement insofar as he's had them in helping us keep open a vacancy so that the President could fill it. So, yeah, no, there's a, there's a lot going on here. There's a, there's a lot going on here. And we'll keep your eyes on that. But I know those of you in Florida, you love Ron DeSantis as governor. My, My parents are down in Florida, Florida. My dad, you know, General Colonize down in Florida. He loves Ron DeSantis down there. They love having him as governor. So, you know, but you can't have everything. You can't have everything. Sometimes you gotta make a trade off for your country. So maybe he is a good pick. We'll see. It's up to the President on that one in the United States Senate. I want to bring you now to an update on the Save America Act. What's going on with that? Is that gonna, is that gonna happen? Are we gonna Are we gonna gavel in today? Sure we are.

The Save America act today. There is, there's some chatter right now. You know, John Kennedy, Senator John Kennedy says he's going to put Save America act priorities into the reconciliation package. Yeah, yeah, sure. I believe it when I see it. I don't think we'll see it because I don't think it can survive being a part of the budget process. We've talked about this quite a bit, but there was a. There was an article this week from an outfit called Punchbowl, and it was about how John Thune is trying to navigate this world where Republicans like you, the conservatives like us, want the Save America act passed and John Thune doesn't know how to deal with you. John Thune is overwhelmed by you. And so Punchbowl's got this piece. They say it's a multi front pileup for John Thune. And they say Thune is dealing with a MAGA onslaught over the Save America Act. A MAGA onslaught. You see that, ladies and gentlemen? You're a part of a MAGA onslaught. Congratulations to the onslaughters out there. It's a relentless push to gut the filibuster and an Iranian war that's exacerbating affordability concerns. They say it's giving Democrats new ammo, unique set of challenges, yada, yada, yada. And then here's Jonathan. They've got their limitations and so do we. So we've just got to figure it out inside the conference. The Save America act is a touchy subject. Is a touchy subject. The bill, which requires photo ID and proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. This is bare minimum stuff. Doesn't have a path to passage, says Punchbowl flatly. That's not true. It would have a path to passage if you guys would find your nuts and pass it. If we would establish a little bit of testicular fortitude, boom, we could pass this thing. But you lack that. They've gone through a bunch of gender affirming surgeries in the Senate Republican Conference, which has prevented them from having the testicular fortitude to do this job. But that hasn't stopped some Senate Republicans, namely Senator Mike Lee. Mike Lee. Oh, that Mike Lee. What a. What a menace that Mike Lee is. Mike Lee. Oh, no, he's so scary. Mike Lee. He's been ginning up anger at Thune among MAGA followers online. Thune decided to hold a prolonged floor debate as a way to placate conservatives. You see this? What did I tell you? They were Doing head pats, placation. There you go, Sonny. We talked about it. And indirectly try to prove that their preferred method of passing the bill, the so called talking filibuster, was unrealistic. Was unrealistic. Trump made it even harder for Thune. Oh, that Trump. He's so dastardly. By injecting an issue into the debate. Restricting mail in ballots that deeply divides Republicans. Why does it deeply divide Republicans? Is anybody asking these questions? Why in the hell would making mail in ballots believable, credible, legitimate? Why would it divide Republicans? Use psychopaths. Democrats, led by Senator Alex Padilla exploited those divisions. Remember Padilla? Remember he tried to assault Kristi Noem. He charged a stage and he got tackled and he tried to turn himself into the victim. Big Jussie Smollett. Eventually, suddenly, any attempt at a messaging vote to make Democrats look unreasonable for opposing voter ID was no longer as effective. A messaging vote. We don't want a messaging vote. We want a real vote. Yet Thune on Monday said the Senate might return to the controversial bill after reconciliation. Why is it controversial? You see how I have to read these dumb stories? I read through them and then I'm like, what is. What. What does that mean? What are you talking about? Why are you trying to. People say it's pronounced Padilla. That's not true. That's. That's incorrect. I'm. This is officially Padilla, ladies and gentlemen. I. Where did this start, this Padilla thing? I.

Yes. There are people out there whose names are Padilla. That's true. This guy's name is Padilla. It's Padilla. Okay, Just to be super clear, don't mess it up. Okay? They say here it's unclear whether MAGA world and Lee, who is calling for nuking the filibuster to pass save, would be satisfied with an additional floor debate. Here's a GOP senator. This is the quote. Ready? John is playing footsie with MAGA on the Save Act. He's playing footsie with you. I don't want to play footsie with fricking John Thune. I don't want to play footsie. Not interested in footsie footsie. We did that. When was footsie? Footsie was like, you know, 10 years old. When were you playing footsie? You're not playing footsie now. Footsie's over. Not interested in footsie. We want you to pass the freaking Save Act. No more footsie. John is playing footsie with Mag on the Save act, said a random Republican senator. Nothing he does will ever Satisfy them. Them meaning you. Nothing Jonathan does will ever satisfy you. Is that true? Is that true? Nothing John Thune could ever do would satisfy you. That's not true. There is something he could do that would satisfy me. Pass the freaking Save Act. No footsie. Pass the bill. Nothing he does will ever satisfy them. Said a Republican senator who is granted anonymity to declare a. Excuse me. To deliver a candid assessment. Why are we carrying on with this charade? Said a Republican senator anonymously, like a bitch to Punchbowl. Why are we carrying on with this charade? I'll tell you why. Because we want it. Because the American people want it. We're sick of your crap. Yes, that's right. Cutesy time is over, says Carnage25. Cutesy time is over. We want this. And we know you exist, you, anonymous Republican senator. We know people like you exist. This is the source of our great frustration that we have to fight the Democrats and then we have to fight some untold number of establishment Republicans who have such a low regard for their own base that they engage in efforts to pat us on the head and placate us and get us to go away so that they can get back to the business of corruption rather than to the business of the American people. Making America great again also means making the Republican Party great again. We have to clean it out. We have to do a controlled burn. Mike Lee, to his credit, is also outraged by this. He reacted to this quote, it's a charade. The Save America act is a charade. Protecting our elections is not a charade. It is a priority. Here's Mike Lee uncorking on this anonymous senator and pegging whoever it is for exactly the kind of person he is watching.

Supposedly one of my colleagues called the effort to pass the Save America act in the Senate a charade. Well, my guess is that whoever said that but didn't have the guts to put their name to it is somebody who's a co sponsor of the Save America act, who openly actively tells his constituents that he's a co sponsor of the Save America act and maybe even tells donors that in order to raise funds. Regardless of. This isn't going away. I'm not going away. This thing's not a charade. And I'm doubling down on this when I work twice as hard. Just because you said that, whoever you are,

something. Something has happened in Mike Lee's psyche. I don't know if you've noticed it too. Mike Lee has reached a new level of aggression here because he is getting frustrated at unseen levels. Mike Lee is. He's kind of. He's such an even killed guy. He's a fighter, but he's even killed. He's always. He's always just sort of down here. Something lately has him ticked off at an unseen level. And I love it. I love the energy. Not because I love that he has to be ticked off. I just love that he's in the fight and that he's staying on this bone. John Thune does not want Mike Lee doing this. The last thing this goon anonymous senator wants is, is Mike Lee getting out there and releasing more messages to the public about what the inner workings of the United States Senate are right now. The Senate has gone for years without you knowing, or at least to the extent that they could suppress it, trying to hide how they actually function internally. And now the guts are all over the place. Like, we can see everything. And we're watching this and going, no, no, no, we're going to clean this up. We're your parole officers now. We're going to hover over your every action. We're going to keep an eye on what you're up to until you actually do what you're supposed to. And so here's Mike Lee. Mike Lee, a guy not that long ago thought like, we have to preserve the filibuster. We've got to preserve the rights of the minority in the Senate. This is, like, really important. He's done with this because he sees the writing on the wall. This is what we were talking about yesterday. In the wake of the Virginia vote, you have to recognize what time it is. If you fail to recognize the time that's on America's clock right now, then you need to get the hell out of the way. Here he is saying, it's done. I don't care what it takes. We either use the talking filibuster, we blow up the zombie filibuster, as he calls it, the silent filibuster. I don't care. By any means necessary. We have to get this done, do something cut for Mike Lee. Watch.

Senate Democrats are using unprecedented obstruction and the use of the zombie filibuster in order to get their priorities. It's working well for them. You know, they got all the departments and agencies in the federal government funded that they like, but then somehow they refuse utterly to cooperate on any spending bill that would fund the Department of Homeland Security. So we're having to reinvent the wheel, go through a very elaborate process just to fund this one department whose success is material indispensable to our national security into President Trump's agenda. We're having to go through this process that actually takes weeks to complete just so we can pass it with a simple majority of votes. Here is the problem. All this is a symptom of our refusal to enforce the talking filibuster. If we were to enforce the talking filibuster, we could exhaust them and get to the point where they either provide us with the 60 votes we need or they get lazy, they get sloppy, they exhaust themselves, and eventually we. We would find a way to get it passed. If we're willing to do that, great. It's probably the way we ought to do it. It protects debate to use the talking filibuster. But if we're not willing to use the talking filibuster, it's time to nuke it.

Look, this zombie filibuster thing that we're using, which is sort of the opposite of what the filibuster is supposed to do and supposed to be, not only is there obstruction with it unprecedented of late and causing all sorts of of problems, but it's inuring disproportionately to the benefit of the Democrats. Not something we want to be doing in these rare and often fleeting moments when we've got Republican control of the Senate, of the House, and of the White House. So let's either enforce the talking filibuster or nuke the zombie filibuster. You can't have it both ways. Let's get this done. We will continue running around this like just on a hamster wheel until we fix the problem. I don't really care that much, which I rather enforce the talking filibuster, but not willing to do the hard work of that. For the love of Pete, let's nuke it.

You know, when the filibuster was founded, as Mike Lee clearly was getting out there, the whole point of that cloture vote, achieving a level of support in the Senate that would allow the bill to be passed in the first place to go to an actual vote. The whole reason was to create the conditions for robust debate. That's what the filibuster was supposed to be. This is why it exists. It's for extended debate on the subject so that you could cobble together consensus in the Senate around the legislation and then put it to an up or down vote. Yes or no, do you support this legislation? That is not the current state of the filibuster. The current state of the filibuster is no debate. At all that bills don't even see the light of day. It's a perfect perversion, a perfect inversion of what the Senate is supposed to be doing in its legislative business. Screw that. Hell with that. And so any person who's there to protect the institution, you're sabotaging the institution by destroying debate. You're sabotaging it by not allowing legislation to even be considered. And you're sabotaging the institution in order to protect yourselves and your own political careers and reputations. And the reason I say that is because the filibuster, the silent filibuster in its current form has been a convenient way for senators not to have to engage with politically sensitive legislation. Anything that they think might blow back on them for having to deal with at all. The, the reality is, in the Senate, both parties have been very comfortable with the silent filibuster because they love not having to put their name on the record in any capacity, because they want the voters to view them as merely a blank slate. They don't really want a record for voters to dwell on. That's. That's the last thing that they want. So all of these, like, politically sensitive things, they try and hide from it. That's it. And so don't tell me you're protecting the institution of the Senate by upholding the silent filibuster. You're betraying the entire institution, which is another way of saying you're betraying the country. You're betraying the purpose that the founders arranged in the first place in the Constitution.

And so Mike Lee is right to fight here. And I'm glad to see. Staying on that hamster wheel, it's, it's, it's super important that he does that. Super, super important that he does that. Okay, finally, in the United States Senate yesterday, you want some, you want some fun stuff out of the Senate yesterday? I can show you some fun stuff. Let's get, let's get some fun stuff here before we, we depart the program today. RFK Jr. Was testifying yesterday before the, before the Senate, and he was subjected to a lot of stupid questions from Democrats. And among them was Senator Tina Smith, who tried to turn the HHS booting people off of federal benefits into a scandal. And RFK said, yeah, those are illegal aliens. They should be cut off. Here's, here's that exchange yesterday with Tina Smith, rfk, RFK speaking. Talking about a great guy in the administration. Watch this.

Recommending zeroing out funding for Title 10, which would eliminate screenings for cervical cancer and would almost certainly result in higher unintended pregnancies.

Can I respond to some of your earlier statements, please? First of all, there are no cuts in Medicaid. I keep saying this. Here's what the CBO said. Fiscal year 2025, $668 billion. Fiscal year 2036, 981 billion.

That's not Secretary Kennedy. $47 million in cuts, according to the CEO. Seven million people losing their health insurance because of the Trump administration actions. That's not debatable.

There's nobody who is legally enrolled in Medicaid who is losing.

It is. So what was, what is, what is cut?

How else would you like to respond to my questions about why the administration is cutting preventative care?

We're putting a lot of it is being returned to the states. We're doing a $667 billion block grant to the states for all counties are

asking why the cost shift to their taxpayers is happening at the same time going out of business administer the programs

better than we do. So we're giving the same money to the states to administer the program.

That is not the way it is working.

So what they're saying here, you see Eric Daugherty writes it on his ex post. They're cutting off illegals, they're cutting out fraud, they're cutting off foreigners. And Democrats are trying to turn this into a scandal. Have you noticed that Democrats only freak out when their fraud is exposed? That all of their freakouts consist of exposing their fraudulent operations, the theft of taxpayer money. It's, it's really amazing. Here's another great moment yesterday. This is with a ridiculous Senator Ron Wyden who tries to turn, tries to bring up the sexual abuse of children. He starts alleging that there's some sort of scandal happening under RFK Jr. And RFK goes, you want to talk about the sex abuse of children? How about on the watch of your party under hhs? Take a look at this moment yesterday.

Watch that a three year old girl was sexually abused in a foster home at an agency that you oversee. Are you familiar with this?

No, I am not.

You're the Secretary of Health and Human Services and it's in a national publication and you didn't know that a three year old girl was being sexually abused on your watch?

I can tell you there were tens of thousands of girls and boys who were sexually abused. The Biden administration lost 425,000 children and you never complained.

Whose job is it to inform you of Something like this? Because this to me is an unconscionable case.
