Vince Colonnade
It is so good to see all of you.
Justin
Are you having a nice Independence Day week as we head into it?
Vince Colonnade
I hope you are as we're headed
Justin
into the 250th anniversary of our great country. This audience is incredible.
Vince Colonnade
It is so nice to be back with you Here at the 10 o'
Justin
clock Eastern Time Time slot, at least for today. With you.
Vince Colonnade
For those of you who join me
Justin
each morning on my program at 8am Eastern, thank you. I'm on rumble.com Vince each morning and we, we love doing the show there. It's been such an epic success. Thank you for making it that way. And I promise you we've got a great episode ahead. I need to talk to you about an issue that is near and dear to my heart and I am certain is near and dear to yours. Election integrity, the Save America Act. Yes, we'll gavel in today as we talk about that. Super important for us to get this conversation underway today and a lot to discuss on that front.
Vince Colonnade
Also, we are kind of keeping a
Justin
side eye on whether or not we get breaking news out of the United States Supreme Court today.
Vince Colonnade
We might, we may or may not on the issue of birthright citizenship. What a big case. We've gotten a lot of good decisions from the Supreme Court in the last week.
Justin
But I'm on guard here, as I'm sure you are too, that maybe they were just fattening us up before the slaughter. I hope not. I hope we get another big victory here. It should be 9 0. There's no way that Chinese nationals should be able to pour into our country, pop out a baby, have an American citizen and then we're screwed over.
Vince Colonnade
What kind of system is that?
Justin
That's insanity. So hopefully the court is on the side of decency in the United states, constitution and the American people. Uh, we'll see. We'll see if that decision even comes out today. But keeping an eye on that as well. So in other words, we've got a lot to get to on this mighty Dan Bongino show. Also, of course, Dan, in case you're wondering, maybe you just arrived.
Vince Colonnade
Dan's on vacation this week.
Justin
A well earned break.
Vince Colonnade
Uh, you'll hear from Sean Farish on Wednesday.
Justin
Isn't that right, Justin? We have Sean Farish on Wednesday on the program, correct?
Vince Colonnade
He'll be. Yes, that's correct.
Justin
He says. So you'll be able to hear from the great Sean Farish on Wednesday as well. So we've got content for you, don't you worry. And as always, please subscribe to my program. I'll keep delivering for you all week long this week.
Vince Colonnade
Before we get into the content of the show today, I do want to
Justin
thank American Financing for supporting it and today's uncertain economy. American Financing really is helping families find
Vince Colonnade
a way out of the high interest trap.
Justin
We're heading into summer, of course, man, it's here. But that economic cloud not clearing for a lot of middle class families. Between persistent inflation. Thanks, Joe Biden.
Vince Colonnade
And the cost of daily life, you're likely feeling the pressure.
Justin
You've worked hard for your home and probably have more equity than you realize you. Yet the summer surge is forcing many to rely on credit cards. It's an exhausting cycle. But American financing understands that 2026 requires a real strategy. This is why they have salary based mortgage consultants. You see, with mortgage rates in the fives, their customers are saving an average of $800 a month by wiping out high interest debt.
Vince Colonnade
That's money that stays in your pocket
Justin
to fight back against rising costs.
Vince Colonnade
No upfront fees, no pressure. And if you start today, you could
Justin
delay two mortgage payments.
Vince Colonnade
Call American Financing today, 888-994-7660. That's 888-994-7660 or visit american financing.net/bongino. Shall we?
Justin
Let's dive in. Let's dive right into this, the Save America Act.
Vince Colonnade
And as I do it, you should know that one of our favorites, a
Justin
favorite here for Dan Bongino's audience and a favor for my audience, producer Jim
Vince Colonnade
Verde with our radio show. Producer Jim keeps the meeting minutes.
Justin
Every time we have this meeting on the Save America act, we have to gather together again to do that today. And here's why.
Vince Colonnade
John Thune is a problem.
Justin
John Thune, the Senate majority leader is a big problem.
Vince Colonnade
In fact, he is one of the
Justin
primary reasons you and I don't get to have nice things.
Vince Colonnade
And in this case, nice things is election integrity.
Justin
Is the Save America Act. Now, for those who haven't followed the details closely, a tight summary of the Save America Act. You need to prove you're an American citizen when you register to vote. Simple. You need to show an ID when you do cast a ballot. Simple. Non citizens should be purged from the voting rolls. Very simple.
Vince Colonnade
And we should have fewer mail in
Justin
ballots because those are the primary vectors for fraud.
Vince Colonnade
And the President has added other things
Justin
like no men and women's sports.
Vince Colonnade
In other words, it's an anti cheating bill. No cheating in elections.
Justin
No cheating in women's sports.
Vince Colonnade
No cheating.
Justin
Pretty simple.
Vince Colonnade
And yet it's very hard to get it passed.
Audience Member
Why?
Justin
Well, Democrats refuse to do it. And too many of these rhino Republicans refuse to do it too. John Cornyn stands in the way. He pretends he doesn't, but he does, which is why Texas voters just fired him. Bill Cassidy stands in the way.
Vince Colonnade
He pretends he doesn't, but he does, which is why Louisiana voters just fired him. Thumbelina Thom Tillis of North Carolina stands in the way. He pretends he doesn't, but he knew North Carolina voters were about to fire him, so he announced his retirement. A lot of these guys are standing in the way, but nobody deserves more
Justin
focus and pressure than the leadership of the Republicans.
Vince Colonnade
And that would be John Thune and
Justin
John Barrasso, the two Johns.
Vince Colonnade
Thune, the majority leader, keeps acting like
Justin
he's just a weatherman or some sort of play by play commentator.
Vince Colonnade
Oh shucks, we just don't have the votes.
Justin
Have you tried for them?
Vince Colonnade
Have you put in any effort to get them?
Justin
Have you twisted any arms? Have you threatened committee assignments?
Vince Colonnade
Have you threatened to shut down any
Justin
of the fundraising dollars from going any of these senators as they run for reelection?
Vince Colonnade
Have you threatened to take away their vacation time? Oh wait, you're on vacation right now. The answer to those questions is no. John Thune has not exerted any of the levers necessary to actually get this thing passed. It can get passed.
Justin
He just refuses to do the work. He refuses.
Vince Colonnade
And in fact, the President has been, I would say, too kind to the guy.
Justin
He keeps treating him very nicely. But at some point that niceness will go away.
Vince Colonnade
And President Trump's going to get very
Justin
tough with John soon.
Vince Colonnade
Johnson is not going to like that. So why not get ahead of it,
Justin
John, and pass the Save America act, twist the arms and get it done.
Vince Colonnade
John Barrasso is the majority whip. That's his job. His job is to whip the votes.
Justin
There's no evidence he's doing that. So, yeah, we've got problems.
Vince Colonnade
And many of you have been calling
Justin
these senators, have been calling John Thune, have been emailing him, have been telling your own state senators you want this
Vince Colonnade
done, please keep that pressure on.
Justin
It has to continue. It has to.
Vince Colonnade
But let me start with the President
Justin
of the United States today. It's usually a good way to frame a conversation.
Vince Colonnade
Here's the President talking about the fact that he has to fight both Democrats and Republicans. And in this case, he calls out Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who's another one
Justin
who's a big headache in this whole process. Cut five. Watch this.
Donald Trump
And now we have to pass the Save America act to protect our sacred American elections.
Justin
Have to pass.
Donald Trump
Hard to believe, right? Hard to believe that we even have to fight for this. We have to fight for everything. Nothing comes easy. Nothing. All voters must show photo id. Not so bad. All voters must provide proof of citizenship. Is that so hard? And you're fighting the Democrats and a few Republicans who are doing a tremendous disservice to this country. We have a few Republicans that are fighting it. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, you should call her and tell her to get on the ball. She'll never win another election, I can tell you. She has got to get. She's got to vote. It's called the Save America Act. It's voter id, Ideally, photo id. Right. So you can look and you can say, oh, that person's okay. Or for lots of reasons, that person is not the same person. We want proof of citizenship.
Vince Colonnade
Yeah.
Justin
We want the Save America Act. The President says we need election integrity.
Vince Colonnade
He called out Lisa Murkowski in particular,
Justin
but he could have called out any of these other guys. Thune, Barrasso, Cornyn, Tillis, Cassidy.
Vince Colonnade
This is, unfortunately, a long list of people who pretend like they support election
Justin
integrity, but when push comes to shove, they prefer vacation. I want your ass back in Washington immediately. And I want election integrity immediately.
Vince Colonnade
And I'm not alone. I'm not alone.
Justin
John Cornyn is whining about this, by the way. He's whining and he's calling us keyboard
Vince Colonnade
warriors and grifters, Keyboard warriors and grifters, saying that we are ignorant of the Senate rules. Meanwhile, I would say that the American
Justin
people in many cases have a better grasp on what the rules of the Senate are than many Republican senators, actually. But here's What John Cornyn said.
Vince Colonnade
I marvel at the keyboard warrior geniuses and grifters who are ignorant of Senate
Justin
rules and precedents, who have miraculously become
Vince Colonnade
experts in its arcane rules, promising the moon and the stars and yet destining Republicans for failure, and is a very effective way to demoralize our base and
Justin
elect more Democrats in the midterms. No doubt John Cornyn is including President Trump among the keyboard warrior geniuses and grifters because President Trump is very loudly pushing for the Save America act, saying nothing else should pass until that does. Here's John Cornyn attacking him and the people who support him and the people who want election integrity with friends like these, John Cornyn, he says this is
Vince Colonnade
an effective way to demoralize our base and elect more Democrats. Do you know what's a very effective
Justin
way to demoralize our base and elect more Democrats? Not passing the Safe America Act. Yeah, that's a great way to demoralize your base.
Vince Colonnade
We send you to Washington to do something, you fail to do it.
Justin
That'll demoralize the base.
Vince Colonnade
And then when Democrats can get elected
Justin
on fraud, that's how you get Democrats more elected.
Vince Colonnade
John Cornyn has it exactly backwards, which is why he was just fired by
Justin
the voters in Texas. He can't leave soon enough, but for
Vince Colonnade
now, we have to deal with him. And so long as we have to
Justin
deal with him and so long as he holds that office, the pressure should continue on him. Despite the fact that he's whining at you for being a keyboard warrior because he doesn't like all the email that's coming into his office. Well, continue to fight the war on your keyboards. Keep sending him these messages.
Vince Colonnade
Something has to break free here.
Justin
John Thune, for his part, is treating the grassroots like grassroots like crap. Scott Pressler has been absolutely heroic on a number of fronts. He's been working very hard to get people registered to vote, to turn out Republicans in elections, to help win elections. When it comes to just the elbow grease of getting things done, you've had Scott Pressler, in a very public way, doing that pretty aggressively.
Vince Colonnade
And more Americans should take Scott's demeanor. They should.
Justin
They should be like Scott and fight very hard to stop the left. That's what Scott's been doing. Scott just showed up this past week in South Dakota. He wanted to go to the Republican Party's conference there in the state to meet with John Thune if he could, to encourage him to get the Save America act passed. Now, Scott is not a threat to anybody. I can't imagine Scott posing some sort of physical threat to. To John Thune, yet he was treated like he was a terrorist or something when he arrived.
Vince Colonnade
I want you to see how the South Dakota Republican Party treated Scott Pressler when he tried to attend this event
Justin
where John Thune was cut six. Take a look at this.
Scott Pressler
Hey, guys, this is Scott Pressler. I'm here at the South Dakota State Convention. I have a ticket, and they are saying that I can't come in. So we're gonna find out very shortly why I am not being allowed as one of the biggest supporters of President Donald J. Trump.
Justin
I'm big on Facebook, too, and I'm the asshole saying you can't come in because guess what? You're posting this little piss and moan session on Facebook. So you just get the hell out of here.
James Bialato
Thank you.
Scott Pressler
You see, you see how that. You see how the grassroots are welcomed in Senate Majority Leader Thune's territory? Interesting. My friends, I. I don't think this is a good reflection of the South Dakota gop, but I thank him for his honesty, though. What's your.
Dan Bongino
What's your.
Scott Pressler
Matthew Bruner, Sergeant at arms.
Vince Colonnade
That was.
Justin
Yeah. Matthew Bruner, Sergeant at Arms. The tool in the cowboy hat who said that Scott Pressler is not welcome inside the event and treated him like crap. You don't have to treat him like crap.
Vince Colonnade
What are you treating him like crap for? Scott Pressler's been rowing one of those
Justin
oars like crazy on behalf of advancing the President's agenda and the well being of this country, and you're gonna treat him like garbage? Bad idea, dude. Very bad idea.
Vince Colonnade
Now, why was he treated like garbage?
Justin
Who blocked him from coming in?
Vince Colonnade
Well, turns out the answer to that question is John Thune himself, or at least John Thune staff, because the chairman
Justin
of the South Dakota Republican Party is
Vince Colonnade
a guy called Jim Eschenbaum, and he
Justin
was caught on camera explaining that John
Vince Colonnade
Thune barred Scott Pressler from going into the event.
Justin
Watch this.
Jim Eschenbaum
Did Jonathan specifically ask that Scott Pressler not attend this event?
Donald Trump
Yes.
Jim Eschenbaum
Okay. Is John Thune a member of the convention committee? No. So how does he have the authority to remove people from events? He has a.
Vince Colonnade
Please let Scott Pressler in.
Jim Eschenbaum
He has a lot of security in there. And is. Is Mr. Pressler considered a security threat? Not to me, but I'm not going to go in there and argue with the Secret Service.
Vince Colonnade
Thank you, James.
Justin
Well, first of all, the Secret Service doesn't protect Jonathan. That would be Capitol Police. That. That's incorrect.
Vince Colonnade
But also he made it really clear
Justin
that it was Thune or Thune staff
Vince Colonnade
who made a request to keep Scott
Justin
Pressler out of that room. And they did it as a courtesy to him.
Vince Colonnade
Now, it's not surprising that Thune would
Justin
wield influence in the South Dakota Republican Party. He's the majority leader in the Senate, after all. That's a big feather in the cap for the Republican Party in the state. And if Thune sends a request like that, it looks like they're going to
Vince Colonnade
rush to do it. But Thune owns this. The head of the South Dakota Republican Party said that it wasn't like some
Justin
weird game of telephone where some low ranking member said it.
Vince Colonnade
It was the head of the party in the state who said, yeah, it was at Thune's request.
Justin
We're keeping Scott Pressler out.
Vince Colonnade
And if you need further evidence of the fact that Scott Pressler was kept out on that basis, look no further than the fact that they had a photo of Pressler on a table there so they could stop him. Cut 8. Look at this video. Watch this.
Jim Eschenbaum
So this is James Bialato with dead on, where it looks like there's a memorandum with Scott Pressler's picture on the first table to identify him at the door to prevent him from entering. This is the doors at the Rushmore Hall.
Vince Colonnade
So they had a picture of the guy.
Justin
They planned ahead of time to block him.
Vince Colonnade
Now, Pressler was going there on behalf
Justin
of the rest of us.
Vince Colonnade
They may have, well, may as well
Justin
have blocked President Trump from going into that meeting.
Vince Colonnade
They may as well have blocked each
Justin
and every one of you and me from going into that meeting.
Vince Colonnade
Scott Pressler was going as our emissary, just to raise a polite but insistent point, pass the Save America Act. That's it. Is that so complicated? Are you that scared of that kind of pressure? Well, then in that case, you shouldn't be a United States Senator. You can't handle Scott Pressler. It's time for you to leave.
Justin
You definitely shouldn't be the leader of the Republicans in the Senate.
Vince Colonnade
It's just pathetic, actually. And rather than have a real conversation with him, he treats everybody like crap. So here's step one this week is get in touch with, with Scott Pressler
Justin
and try and make this right.
Vince Colonnade
And step two, and most importantly, even
Justin
more important than step one in that
Vince Colonnade
sequence, pass the Save America Act. Get it done. Now, this has been a source of
Justin
immense embarrassment, as it should be. The South South Dakota Republican Party, the
Vince Colonnade
chairman of the party who you just
Justin
heard a moment ago, Jim Eschenbaum say
Vince Colonnade
that it was John Thune who demanded
Justin
Scott Pressler not gain access, has since apologized and he did this.
Vince Colonnade
Let's see, this would have, this would have been into the wee hours of
Justin
the morning right after it went down. Here's what he said on X.
Vince Colonnade
He said, scott, I want to personally
Justin
apologize for how things were handled tonight at the South Dakota Republican Convention.
Vince Colonnade
I haven't watched the video yet, but
Justin
Matt Bruner, that was the guy in
Vince Colonnade
the cowboy hat, has been relieved of
Justin
his duties as one of our sergeant at arms by the lead sergeant at arms.
Vince Colonnade
I also apologize for denying you entry. You were exactly right when you said
Justin
it wasn't Senator Thune's staff that was running the event. And I failed you in that decision. And I'm sorry and I own it completely.
Vince Colonnade
As I stated, I appreciate and respect
Justin
all that you have done for President Trump and the Republican Party.
Vince Colonnade
I truly wish this hadn't gotten so
Justin
out of hand before someone let me know. We will talk more about this tomorrow when I have time to.
Vince Colonnade
So the South Dakota Republican Party, or
Justin
at least part of it, thinks, you know, this was a mistake, but they
Vince Colonnade
still have not fully come to grips
Justin
with the fact that John Thune is a problem.
Vince Colonnade
In fact, for a moment on Friday, there was an effort by the South Dakota Republican Party to issue a formal
Justin
censure of their own Senator John Thune.
Vince Colonnade
A formal condemnation by the state party.
Justin
That's a big deal. The South Dakota Republican Party to censure John Thune. I'll tell you how that went. Just a moment as we continue here on the Great Dan Bongino Show. Vince Colonnade is filling in today for Dan. Always appreciate the chance to, to talk to you. You find people. We've got a lot to talk about. We've got to talk about this Save America Act. We've got to get it done. More in a moment. Hey, we wouldn't be celebrating America250 if it wasn't for a strong foundation set by our framers. Hamilton built America's financial foundation on the principle of sound, stable money, a principle later embodied by the gold standard.
Vince Colonnade
However, it does seem like we've abandoned
Justin
that discipline, doesn't it? Since 1971 and have since seen inflation erode the dollar's value. What is the foundation of your savings? Is it gold or something that can be shaken, disrupted, devalued?
Vince Colonnade
Birch Gold Group.

And by the way, it's so nice to be back with you here, isn't it? I, I don't know if you feel the same way. I feel great about this. I love being back with you. What a nice year we had together
Justin
when Dan was doing his thing at the FBI.
Vince Colonnade
It was such a joy to get
Justin
to know all of you and, and I feel, I feel very good being back with you here at this time right now as Dan's on his well deserved vacation. It's, it's great to see. And you look as good as ever. Holy cow. You look phenomenal.
Vince Colonnade
Okay, let me get back to what's
Justin
going on here with, with Jonathan. So Jonathan's kind of in a world of hurt here.
Vince Colonnade
Kind of in a world of hurt. Now he's got the south there South
Justin
Dakota Republican Party in chaos because these idiots decided to try and block Scott Pressler at his behest.
Vince Colonnade
So it came to Friday and they were contemplating a censure. We're going to censure John Thune because
Justin
he's failing to get the Save America act passed.
Vince Colonnade
The thing finally goes up to a vote.
Justin
And it looked like a pretty sparsely attended event when the vote took place.
Vince Colonnade
And when they cast the vote, well,
Justin
they rejected the censure, at least for now.
Vince Colonnade
Listen to this by voice vote. Cut 9.
Justin
The South Dakota Republican Party considering and rejecting a censure of John Th.
Vince Colonnade
Title of resolution. Again, the adoption of the resolution rebuking Senator John. All those in favor will say I. Now I will say and you.
Justin
I listen to that audio a couple times. He's probably right that the, the nose had it, that the volume was slightly louder on the voice vote. Voice votes are very interesting, but that
Vince Colonnade
is not a good thing when nearly
Justin
half the room is saying that the sitting Republican senator, the majority leader, the
Vince Colonnade
guy who represents the state needs to be censured. That's a pretty big deal. Wouldn't normally be like that. And yet it is. Why? Because we want the Save America act, that's why. So keep up the pressure. For those of you in South Dakota, God bless you. Keep up the pressure on Jon Thune. We could really use your help.
Justin
We could really use it.
Vince Colonnade
Now John Cornyn is as I, as
Justin
I mentioned, whining about all of this. He remember he called you a keyboard warrior. He said it's not even possible.
Vince Colonnade
Can't happen now.
Justin
He's wrong about that. He's lying about that.
Vince Colonnade
There's a Senate expert by the name
Justin
of Clint Brown responded to Cornyn's claims about this subject.
Vince Colonnade
And he said, sir, I've got some
Justin
expertise in Senate rules and precedent.
Vince Colonnade
In fact, at one time, you were one of a dozen senators who paid me for my expertise. The talking filibuster will work. Senators who refuse to do this to pass the Save America act are the ones demoralizing their own base.
Justin
That's exactly right. Senator Mike Lee has walked us through this a bunch of times, but here's how it works. Fundamentally, you just need to get the debate started.
Vince Colonnade
Nominally.
Justin
Right now we've got 50 Republicans. 50 Republicans here who are saying that
Vince Colonnade
this thing should pass.
Justin
Or at least they've said it. They've suggested they would pass it.
Vince Colonnade
Okay, let's prove it.
Justin
Let's get it done.
Vince Colonnade
And yet it ain't passed yet. We'll get the debate started. There's a lot of debate about ending debate. We need 65.
Justin
We got some news here.
Vince Colonnade
Okay, let's start it.
Justin
We've got some news here.
Vince Colonnade
Give me a second here. Give me a second here.
Justin
Everyone's telling me we have news. What's the news that I'm looking for here, Justin? Supreme Court ruling.
Vince Colonnade
Supreme Court Rules 5 to 4 that
Justin
federal law does not prevent Mississippi from counting mail in ballots that are postmarked by election Day, but received up to five days after. With Chief Justice John Roberts joining, an opinion written by Justice Amy Coney Barrett.
Vince Colonnade
Federal law.
Justin
Okay, we're processing this together, ladies and gentlemen, but at its core, what this means is that states can continue to accept ballots after Election Day. This makes no sense whatsoever. None. None.
Vince Colonnade
In every. In every other important thing, can you get your birthday card five days after your birthday? Is that how it works? If somebody sends you a birthday card? Let's do this. Let's just thought experiment. Someone sends you a birthday card and they fail to send it on time, and it arrives five days after your birthday and you get it. You're like, well, it's kind of belated. Thanks. I mean, I'm glad you thought of me. But you couldn't send it in order to make it to my house on time. And that's just a birthday card. How about a vote? Isn't Election Day supposed to be Election Day? You can't get a ballot in by Election Day.
Justin
We're giving people months to send in their ballots, get it in on time.
Vince Colonnade
What a pile of garbage. In states like California, you know what they do with their mail in ballot situation. We just saw it play out with Steve Helton and, and all these guys, Spencer Pratt. They had a situation where you could set even if the ballot didn't have a postmark, you could hand write a
Justin
postmark date on it in order to
Vince Colonnade
satisfy the requirement, handwrite it. Doesn't that seem like it's ripe for fraud?
Justin
Yes, is the answer. The more ambiguity and the more nonsense you allow, the more nonsense you're going to get in elections.
Vince Colonnade
This is precisely why we need the Save America Act.
Justin
This decision that the job that they just dropped again.
Vince Colonnade
Again, only reading the headline here.
Justin
I'll, I'll believe me. I'm going to dive into this in detail on the big national radio show today as after I get a chance to read the opinion.
Vince Colonnade
But a decision like this is ratification
Justin
for why we are pushing so hard for the Save America Act.
Vince Colonnade
One of the things it would do
Justin
is it would limit the use of mail in ballots.
Vince Colonnade
Jimmy Carter, as a part of the
Justin
Carter Baker Commission in the early 2000s,
Vince Colonnade
a bipartisan commission studying elections said that mail in ballots are the primary source
Justin
for fraud in elections.
Vince Colonnade
We need to limit the use of mail in ballots, said Carter.
Justin
Democrats won't say that anymore.
Vince Colonnade
They were concerned about it a time
Justin
ago, a while ago. But now they're perfectly content with fraud being the state of play because that's how they get power.
Vince Colonnade
Ok, so the Supremes drop a big
Justin
decision that seems like a big steaming pile of crap.
Vince Colonnade
And did I read that right?
Justin
It was John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett joined the libs on the court.
Vince Colonnade
Not a shock, but definitely appalling. And what does this say here?
Justin
This is Fox's summary.
Vince Colonnade
The Supreme Court rejects a Republican led
Justin
challenge to counting some mail in ballots that arrive after election day.
Vince Colonnade
It's a 54 decision.
Justin
The court ruled the states can continue counting ballots received after election day if
Vince Colonnade
state law allows it and the ballots
Justin
meet requirements, including being postmarked on time. Justice Amy Coney Barrett wrote the majority opinion.
Vince Colonnade
She was joined by Chief Justice John
Justin
Roberts and of course, the liberal justices. Justice Samuel Alito dissenting, calling the ruling
Vince Colonnade
inconsistent with federal election law and two
Justin
centuries of historical practice.
Vince Colonnade
All right, let me give you a
Justin
cheat sheet on how to read a Supreme Court decision without knowing much more about it.
Vince Colonnade
So even before you dive into the details, if you see that Justice Clarence
Justin
Thomas and Justice Alito are on the same exact page, go with them.
Vince Colonnade
Okay, that's the tip. Today, that's the tip of the day
Justin
as I fill in for Dan Bongio.
Vince Colonnade
You ready?
Justin
Go with Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
Vince Colonnade
If those justices who. On one side of this.
Justin
That's the side you want to be
Vince Colonnade
on, in the rare occasion that they
Justin
have different opinions, that they're split against each other, then read both of them and figure out who you prefer. But, you know, I tend to be a Justice Thomas guy, but whatever.
Vince Colonnade
The point is, if Thomas and Alito are against it, then I'm against it. And they're on the right side of
Justin
the Constitution in American history without even
Vince Colonnade
reading the opinion yet.
Justin
I know that. I know that. You can say that with confidence. It's. It's amazing. It's amazing. All right, so we'll keep our eyes on the Supreme Court.
Vince Colonnade
Again, we await the birthright citizenship decision
Justin
that may be a case we get today. And again, this is.
Interviewer
This is.
Vince Colonnade
We're kind of in a weird situation
Justin
because I'm doing the live show with you right now. Those of you watching rumble.com bongino. So we're processing live news, but of course, we're also making this into a tremendous podcast for consumption later on, which, of course, if you're listening, thank you. Thank you. God bless you for it. Appreciate you doing that. All right, More in a moment as we get into a little bit more.
Vince Colonnade
Is you guys. You guys cool with more Save America conversation? I feel like this is a very
Justin
important conversation, and I know Dan is very concerned about this as well. So I figured, you know what, we should service this issue because it matters a great deal. And so if you.
Vince Colonnade
If you'd like, we'll keep.
Justin
We'll stick on it. Let me know if you want that as we continue. But first, I want to thank another tremendous sponsor of the program. Our final sponsor of the day is All Family Pharmacy. It's a pharmacy that's doing something most companies just don't have the guts to.
Thom Tillis
To do.
Justin
And you probably already know that it's all Family Pharmacy, because I just told you that. And also, we love them. They cut out the middlemen completely. No insurance company telling you what you're allowed to have. They streamline the entire process. You fill out a quick form online, a licensed doctor actually reviews it, and if appropriate, writes the prescription, and it
Vince Colonnade
ships straight to your door very fast.
Justin
Here's the thing. We know what we need. Most of us know what we need. Your allergy medications, your blood pressure meds, whatever antibiotic your doctors told you before.
Vince Colonnade
You don't need a lecture you just
Justin
need a way to get it without the runaround. And they've got 400 medications, antibiotics, allergy meds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, even the stuff like
Vince Colonnade
NAD plus peptides, methylene blue.
Justin
If you're into the biohacking, everything's handled online.
Vince Colonnade
No insurance, no waiting rooms. Just you taking control of your own health care. So go to allfamilypharmacy.com Bongino 10 use the code BONGINO10 and save 10% today. Prescription required.
Justin
Always consult a medical professional before taking any medication. This is not medical advice. Thank you to all family pharmacy for supporting this program, this mighty program with this great audience. Thank you very much. Okay, so where are we? You get you guys.
Vince Colonnade
First of all, I'm trying to follow
Justin
Dan's role on don't get that. Thank you, Rebecca. You're right about that. I'm going to keep trying. That Save America act is a must. Yes. Okay, so people want the Save America Act. Yeah, I do too. I really do.
Vince Colonnade
All right, so let me give you some more then. You ready for Thumbelina?
Justin
Thumbelina sucks. Isn't he the worst?
Vince Colonnade
Here he is from North Carolina. He's saying that North Carolina voters are pressuring him too much. Now pay attention. If you're in North Carolina right now,
Justin
this is for you.
Vince Colonnade
This is your senator saying you are
Justin
annoying him too much because you want the save America Act. Cut 10. Watch this.
Thom Tillis
I am concerned that we're going to continue to cast doubt on elections in November and and erode what has been a 250 year tradition of a peaceful transition of power. You know, I have people telling me I need to implement the SAVE act immediately in North Carolina in a state that has voter ID. It was passed when I was Speaker 1. We've enhanced it even since then. And the President's won three times. Why do I, over the next four months have to try to pursue the impossible task of implementing a bill that simply can't be implemented in that time frame? Why are we doing more things to undermine our confidence in elections rather than getting the strong message out that we'll win for Republicans this year? Talk about the emergence and the rise of the Democrat Socialists of America. Accept the that the voting laws are gonna be fundamentally what they are today. Win by them, win by the good results that Republicans have produced and stop undermining the confidence in the elections. This is a bedrock of our 250 year history of success as the democracy that changed the world. Let's not mess with that between now and November.
Vince Colonnade
You're a psycho.
Justin
You are a complete psycho.
Vince Colonnade
You sound like Chuck Schumer. Why are you undermining confidence in elections?
Justin
That's what you are doing, Thom.
Vince Colonnade
And this whole straw man, like, we aren't going to be able to pass it in time for the midterms. Let's assume that that's the case because the Senate is too lazy and won't
Justin
get off its rumps to actually do the job.
Vince Colonnade
Let's just assume that it takes beyond
Justin
the midterms to get this thing passed.
Vince Colonnade
Okay? Do I want that outcome?
Audience Member
No.
Vince Colonnade
Do I want the Save America Act?
Audience Member
Yes.
Vince Colonnade
And so if you start this clock, if you actually take the Senate floor, if you face a ridiculous Senate filibuster that drags all the way through the midterms, if we get the Save America act at the end of it, even if it's after the midterms, that's a
Justin
better outcome than not getting the Save America act at all.
Vince Colonnade
So stop wielding the midterms as some sort of ridiculous red herring to prevent
Justin
you from doing your job.
Vince Colonnade
We wouldn't have to have this conversation
Justin
if you had actually done your job months ago, a year ago, and yet
Vince Colonnade
they still haven't done it.
Justin
And we've had to try them, to drag them kicking and screaming into doing their jobs at all. The truth is, they're not doing it because they're lazy. That's the biggest truth in this at all.
Vince Colonnade
They're just lazy. He doesn't want to do his job.
Justin
He likes being on vacation right now.
Vince Colonnade
He likes that they have very few
Justin
weeks left this year doing any business for the American people whatsoever.
Vince Colonnade
He likes it like that. The last thing he wants is for
Justin
you to be focused on what he should be doing.
Vince Colonnade
What do they make with $200,000 a year?
Justin
Whatever ridiculous amount of money it is
Vince Colonnade
to do nothing, to be on vacation the whole time, to spend all their time fundraising. How about doing the work that we
Justin
sent you to Washington to do, like pass the Save America Act?
Vince Colonnade
Then he attacks you.
Justin
He's whining that you're pressuring him.
Vince Colonnade
You're undermining confidence in elections.
Justin
That's you, you jerk. Bill Cassidy, bitter Bill from Louisiana, is also whining about this.
Vince Colonnade
You can tell that we're getting to
Justin
these guys because they're all whining in public about it now. All of them. Blocking Scott Pressler whining on Twitter, whining on television.
Vince Colonnade
Here's Bill Cassidy whining on television.
Justin
Cut 11. Watch this.
Dan Bongino
I want to make health care more affordable. So I can't tell you what his priorities are beyond the SAVE Act. I can tell you what I think they should be. And how do we make life more affordable for the average American?
Margaret Brennan
The SAVE act, he wants to put in place more restrictions around federal elections. But it's already federal law that noncitizens can't vote scam.
Dan Bongino
Yeah, but in federal rescue is that people have to show an id.
Margaret Brennan
Yeah.
Dan Bongino
And showing an id, I think is a reasonable thing. We've done it in Louisiana. There's been no disenfranchisement at all. But we had a reputation for corrupt elections. And now everybody acknowledges just our elections are pretty straightforward.
Margaret Brennan
But, but you agree with leaders and there just aren't the votes.
Dan Bongino
They're not the vote.
Justin
They're not the votes. I don't know what the President's priorities are other than this Save America act thing. And then you hear the woman with resting Democrat face be like, well, it's
Vince Colonnade
already illegal to vote to commit fraud in elections, yet it's illegal to speed. But if nobody puts a radar gun out on the road to track whether or not someone's doing it, people are going to speed. If nobody's enforcing the law, then people are going to break it. That's the problem is Margaret Brennan's like, well, it's already illegal for non citizens to participate in federal elections. Nobody's enforcing the freaking law. And don't give me this nonsense from Speaker Johnson who said, oh, well, well,
Justin
we're going to make a little a
Vince Colonnade
pool of funding and then any state
Justin
that wants election integrity can get money from the pool of.
Vince Colonnade
That's not going to work. That's not going to work. Democrats are not going to take money from your pool of funding in order to have election integrity. In fact, if anything, they'll just steal the money and not have election integrity. How many times do we have to go through this? Why do I have to run the affairs of the United States Congress just to get everything headed in the right direction? I'm getting nonsense from Speaker Johnson, I'm getting no effort whatsoever from John Thune, and I'm getting really ticked off about it. And I'm not alone. You're ticked off about it. We're ticked off about it, which is why these guys are going on national
Justin
television to whine about it. That's what's happening right now. Cassidy.
Vince Colonnade
In fact, in that same interview, the
Justin
resting Democrat face woman on cbs, Margaret
Vince Colonnade
Brennan was whining about the. She was whining that the Senate is losing John Cornyn, Thom Tillis, and Bill Cassidy. Now you and I are cheering that fact establishment.
Justin
Washington is very sorry that they're headed out the door.
Vince Colonnade
Watch this.
Justin
Cut 12.
Margaret Brennan
Will anyone else hold the President accountable once Cornyn's gone and Tillis is gone
Dan Bongino
and you're gone, the simple answer will be yes. The men and women who serve in Congress, by and large, love our country. I mean, they all love our country deeply. And by and large, they will do what it's required. Now, when you're running for office, you have to be aware of what your voters are interested in. You have to talk about what your voters are interested in if you want to get reelected. But in the Senate, at least, there's that space of four years prior to that. And I think you see every, every, every period, there's senators that step up and say, we need something different, we need more. The Senate is a separate bill. Body, separate from the presidency. I think we're seeing that.
Margaret Brennan
Do you think the President understands that?
Dan Bongino
I don't know. If the president does, sometimes he acts as if Congress is merely an appendage. And frankly, sometimes Congress acts like it's an appendage. But that said, I think he got the message yesterday. Congress wants to be read in. And Congress has our rules and procedures that our founding fathers set up, and they set it up precisely so that there would not be. Be too powerful of an institution of a presidency designed to reflect all of the American people, not just the will of one person.
Margaret Brennan
That's being tested right now.
Dan Bongino
I suppose it's being tested.
Justin
Appendage. You're an appendage. A vestigial tail got to remove you.
Vince Colonnade
Yeah, no, this is.
Justin
This is insanity.
Vince Colonnade
Look, chat.
Justin
Help me out here. Would Republicans have control of the Senate were it not for Trump voters right now? Yes or no, Would they have control of the Senate right now? Yes or no?
Vince Colonnade
Would Republicans have control of the United
Justin
States House of Representatives right now were it not for Trump voters? Yes or no? What's the answer to that question? It's no, it's no, it's no. It's no. There's no's. I see no's in the chat. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Vince Colonnade
no, no, no, no, you moron. You wouldn't even be in power were
Justin
it not for Trump voters right now.
Vince Colonnade
Trump voters voted not just for the man, Donald Trump. They voted for the agenda. That's what they voted for. They voted for securing our border. They voted for making it possible to afford to live in America for unleashing American energy. They voted to bring peace to our planet wherever we can do that, and
Justin
to focus on America first.
Vince Colonnade
They voted to restore order to our country, and that includes restoring order to our elections. They voted for the Save America Act. That's what voters wanted. You think election integrity was a small concern to Trump voters? No, it was a preeminent concern,
Justin
like, oh, he's just got to learn that,
Vince Colonnade
or a different body and blah, blah, blah. No. And he makes these sort of like. Like, weirdo appeals to, oh, the founders wanted us to be separate.
Hailey Carney
Of course.
Justin
The founders wanted a separate branch of government. The whole concept is checks and balances. No question about that.
Vince Colonnade
But right now, the American voter has to wield its power over you, which is why Bill Cassidy was just fired.
Justin
Talk about a check and balance.
Vince Colonnade
Louisiana voters are like, I'm done with your crap. It just happened for Cornyn as well in Texas.
Justin
John. Sorry, Thumbelina Tillis saw this coming. The writing on the wall in North Carolina. He got out before voters could throw him out.
Vince Colonnade
So, in other words, yeah, that's a
Justin
check and a balance.
Vince Colonnade
And I want you to pay special
Justin
attention to the fact that Margaret Brennan was lamenting losing the establishment hacks. She wasn't concerned at all about the vulnerability of our elections. Why aren't you fighting harder?
Vince Colonnade
Why is this so difficult for you
Justin
to get this done?
Vince Colonnade
80% of the American people support it. Just put yourself in her role for a minute. How easy would the questions be? They'd be like, why aren't you doing
Justin
the job the Louisiana voter sent you to office to do?
Vince Colonnade
Like, theoretically, she could ask Bill Cassidy, don't you realize that the reason you
Justin
were fired was because you haven't achieved something as simple as election integrity?
Vince Colonnade
And so she's sitting there bandying about
Justin
all sorts of, like, nonsense about, like,
Vince Colonnade
oh, it's already illegal to do this,
Justin
so why would we have safeguards against it? That doesn't make any sense.
Vince Colonnade
Or, oh, it really sucks that John Cornyn and Thom and. And you are leaving.
Justin
No, it doesn't. It's a great thing.
Vince Colonnade
Imagine if we had a legacy media
Justin
that was actually working to fulfill what the First Amendment was designed to do, which is to work on behalf of
Vince Colonnade
the people, to speak truth to power.
Justin
Imagine, instead, she's abusing the rights that she has under the First Amendment. It's pretty contemptible,
Vince Colonnade
but that's the.
Justin
That's the state of play. That's the state of play. And this is who we have to deal with in Washington.
Vince Colonnade
It's a.
Justin
It's a nightmare. It's a total nightmare.
Vince Colonnade
But keep up the pressure.
Justin
It's working here. Let me.
Vince Colonnade
Let me tell you the good news.
Justin
In the midst of all of this,
Vince Colonnade
these guys, I promise you, thought this
Justin
debate was going to be over six months ago.
Vince Colonnade
They did not think that this would go any further. They thought this was going to be yet another random messaging bill. Oh, that's right. We're all co sponsors. And then it goes nowhere. Sorry. Those are the rules of the Senate. And then they just barrel forward without
Justin
actually achieving anything for you. And the great thing about this moment has been there's been a grassroots initiative
Vince Colonnade
to say, to hell with you, to hell with your stunts.
Justin
We want this and we want it now.
Vince Colonnade
And we're going to stay on you
Justin
until we get it passed.
Vince Colonnade
And if you're not going to do
Justin
it, we're going to replace you until we get the people who do this energy. Please keep it going. Please.
Vince Colonnade
There's nothing astroturfed about this.
Justin
I don't know a single person, truly, I don't know a single person who's being paid for Save America act advocacy.
Vince Colonnade
Everything about this is from the bottom up. This is as grassroots as anything you
Justin
and I have ever seen.
Vince Colonnade
But that means it's incumbent upon us
Justin
to keep this energy alive.
Vince Colonnade
There's not. It's not like there's going to be
Justin
a bunch of big donors to come flying in to help us.
Vince Colonnade
There's not going to be a bunch
Justin
of big money that comes pouring in to help us.
Vince Colonnade
This is going to be grassroots generated
Justin
all the way until it gets done.
Vince Colonnade
And it is now officially.
Justin
Here's the other good news.
Vince Colonnade
This is a litmus test for Republican
Justin
voters in the United States.
Vince Colonnade
No more do any of us go forward when we get to choose who our. Who our candidates are without this understanding in our minds.
Justin
Do you support credible elections? Will you pass the Save America Act?
Vince Colonnade
That's it.
Justin
So can something good come of this? Yes. Something already has. You and I are more dialed in on the United States Senate, more dialed in on election integrity, more dialed in on how to make America great again than we've ever been before. And that's not going to change.
Vince Colonnade
Sorry, Cassidy.
Justin
Thom.
Dan Bongino
Soon.
Justin
The rest of you.
Vince Colonnade
Sorry.
Justin
We have your number. It's great.
Vince Colonnade
All right.
Justin
Hey, there's some other big elements going on today. We're keeping our eyes on these Supreme Court developments going on right now. So we'll. If we get any news on the birthright citizenship thing, I'll tell you about it.
Vince Colonnade
But on that front, what it takes
Justin
to be a United States citizen. It's probably worth taking a glance at all of the chaos around the fact that the Supreme Court last week said that Haitians and Syrians have got to go. It's time for them to leave the United States of America.
Vince Colonnade
The court last week ended temporary protected
Justin
status, or at least that's rather they agreed that President Trump can end temporary protective status for Haitians and Syrians who've been in our country now for decades.
Vince Colonnade
Boy, we are a generous people, aren't we? Well, that's all over, but it's causing
Justin
immense panic on the left. They're really upset about this.
Vince Colonnade
They're freaking out about it. In fact, here's a, here's a clip over on Miz now. Cut 14. Take a look at this. This is on MIZ Now.
Justin
This is a little watched left wing kind of lesbian cable network where they're
Vince Colonnade
upset that Springfield, Ohio is about to
Justin
become a lot more American. Cut 14. Watch.
Audience Member
Of the 350,000 Haitians in the United States with TPS, a little over 10,000, close to 15,000 live here in Springfield. The population of Springfield is about 58,000. So with this decision from the Supreme Court, 20% of this community in Ohio overnight has lost their status. That is going to have huge ramifications for the community as a whole.
Justin
20% of the population is invaders, 20% of the population, foreign nationals, 20%.
Vince Colonnade
So one out of every five people
Justin
doesn't even belong in Springfield, Ohio.
Vince Colonnade
And of course, Miz now is framing
Justin
this as some sort of like, oh,
Vince Colonnade
what a, what a tragedy.
Justin
It's not a tragedy. It's a restoration of Springfield, Ohio.
Vince Colonnade
Springfield could get its city back.
Justin
That's not a small thing.
Vince Colonnade
And again, this whole TPS thing, talk about how generous we are as a country. We let you stay here for a very long time and now you're going to try and stay here forever. How about no, now it's, yeah, they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats, they're eating the pets of the people who live there.
Justin
I don't think the original. Thank you, Dems or whack jobs for reminding me of that. I don't think President Trump originally sang it, but they did.
Vince Colonnade
They did in that banger AI version. It was great. Yes, that Springfield, the same Springfield from the debate. And look, you've got the Ohio governor.
Justin
This guy's a supposedly a Republican. His name's Mike the wine.
Vince Colonnade
Speaking of whining, we're coming a lot of people whining today, Ohio's governor wants them to stay forever. Like, what are you talking about? Listen to this. Cut 15.
Justin
Watch.
Vince Colonnade
Governor, you just heard Secretary Mullen defend the decision.
Justin
You say it's a mistake.
James Bialato
What's your take?
Interviewer
You cannot fly into Port au Prince today. U.S. carriers are prohibited from going in there. They've extended that ban. Federal officials, United States have extended that ban into September now. And, you know, it's been there for a long time. The reason they can't go in there is because these gangs, leaders who control a good part of Haiti today shoot at the planes when they, when they come in. So that's, that's certainly one thing you've pointed out. You know, advisories, heavy advisories. U.S. citizens do not, do not go into Haiti. But the other point is it is not in the United States's interest, certainly not in Ohio's interest, to have people who are working every single day, who are supporting a family, who are buying houses, fixing up old houses, starting businesses, and then put deep roots in this country and really are contributing and yank them out. I mean, look at, look at what the, the mayor of Springfield says. Mayor says that is a huge, huge mistake. They're contributing. Rob Rue says they're contributing. Greatly mistake to do that. What I would hope that the Trump administration would do is reconsider this. Look at how it's going to impact states like Ohio. In Ohio, the Haitians are working primarily in manufacturing. They're also working in, in the food area. But if you look at where they're working across the country, probably the most important area they're working is in healthcare. It's Haitians who many times are taking care of your mom or your dad who has Alzheimer's, taking care of family members who might be in a nursing home. And to say we're going to pull all those out, it's just not in our own self interest.
Justin
Yes, it is.
Vince Colonnade
Yes, it is. What a liar.
Justin
How weak is that guy? It's entirely in our interest. So we protected Haitians for a time.
Vince Colonnade
Now you can go back. The earthquake ended in 2010. And so, you know, last week, some
Justin
reporter asked Stephen Miller about this.
Vince Colonnade
He's like, hey, is Haiti safe?
Justin
It's like, yeah, for Haitians.
Vince Colonnade
The reason the United States advises Americans
Justin
not to go there is because of risks that are directly related to being American and arriving in Haiti.
Vince Colonnade
But if you're Haitian, that's where you're from. The left. Wasn't the left up until like 8 minutes ago for reunifying Families.
Justin
We got to keep families together.
Vince Colonnade
Let's get them back together. Go back to Haiti. Go back. And the, the, the argument that Mike
Justin
DeWine is making is like, well, these
Vince Colonnade
people are very productive. 350, 000 people all across the country, the building. And they're in the food industry and they're in healthcare, and they're creating communities, and they're so wonderful. Well, if that's the case, that's 350,000 talented people all batting, heading back to Haiti to make it less of a bleep hole. Okay? Which President Trump apparently said it was a bleep hole. The media went apoplectic that he called it a bleep poll. And the second you want to send Haitians back to Haiti, they're now saying it's a bleep hole.
Justin
So they agree with President Trump in the end, Trump is always right somehow. How did he do that again?
Vince Colonnade
He's always right. And it's time for you to go back. You've, you've long overstayed your welcome, and that's fine. You, you were here, now you can go. It's temporary. Now, that is the message from the
Justin
administration, fundamentally, that it's temporary. It's time to go home.
Vince Colonnade
But I am concerned today about a
Justin
guy called Mark Wayne Mullen. He's the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security chat. Did you see his remarks this weekend?
Vince Colonnade
He was on television and he said
Justin
something that I did not like.
Vince Colonnade
He started telling Haitians, well, if you want to stay, there's these other ways
Justin
that you can stay in the United States.
Vince Colonnade
I recommend that you apply to the following programs to attempt to stay here. And I'm sitting here going, wait a second. What are you with their lawyer, an immigration lawyer.
Jim Eschenbaum
Now?
Vince Colonnade
You're trying to keep people in the United States. I thought you were the Department of Homeland Security. I thought your job was to safeguard our sovereignty. Why are you giving them advice on how to stay? Watch Mark Wayne Mullen in what I consider to be a suspicious. I'm suspicious of him. I don't like this, and I hope he gets it in check pretty quickly.
James Bialato
Cut 18 watch temporary protective status was never intended to be permanent. And there's a lot of people that came over here 15, 20 years ago underneath TPS that's already changed their status the whole time these individuals have been here underneath the temporary protective status, they could have applied for a visa, they could have applied for lpr, they could have applied for different directions. But the status itself can be ended in its name itself by Saying temporary. So these individuals have a couple of choices. They can try to apply for a permanent residence here. They can apply for a temporary visa if they choose to, or they can choose to go back. And if they want to go back, we'll help them with that. If I would. If I'm talking directly to the individuals with the temporary protective status, either try to fill out the paperwork and be here underneath a permanent status, or we'll help you get back to your country. We'll actually give you a plane ticket, plus roughly $2,100 to help you reestablish when you get there. But temporary protective status, according to the, to the, to the courts and in its name itself is not permanent status.
Justin
What is he doing? Why is he telling people, you could apply for a legal permanent resident or apply for a visa, apply for these other ways if you want to stay. If I was talking to them, I'd be giving them this advice.
Vince Colonnade
Here's the advice you should be giving them.
Justin
It's time to go home. It's time to make Haiti great.
Vince Colonnade
If, if you've made America great.
Justin
If that's, if that's the frame up, well, then, go make Haiti great. Go make Haiti great.
Vince Colonnade
We gave you time to get on your feet. Here you are, now you got a full head of steam. Go use it to make Haiti great.
Justin
What's the DHS secretary doing again? I've seen some people mount up a defense for him and they're saying things
Vince Colonnade
like, oh, well, he's just telling people what the statutes are.
Justin
It's just a recitation of the statute.
Vince Colonnade
Good. He's not their lawyer.
Justin
Why are you doing that? Your job is safeguarding our homeland, protecting our sovereignty, and helping push forward the president's agenda. I'm not asking how it's possible for them to get amnesty under the law. Why would you even recite things like that? It's too much. And you know, Mark Wayne Mullen apparently figured out that this was a foot and mouth moment on national television. And he wrote, let me be abundantly clear, he said later on Sunday, temporary protected status is just that, temporary. Democrats tried to turn this into a de facto amnesty program. President Trump put a stop to it. If you're in the country without status, you're here illegally. Illegal aliens have true choices. They can either accept the $2,600 stipend and a flight home to self deport, or they will be removed. You know, look, I've got a lot of trust in the President of the United States. Not everyone who's ever worked for him, has been an all star. There have been some duds. There have been people who put in half the effort that they should have. There have been people with other agendas who thought that they could keep their head down and kind of pretend to work on the Trump agenda. I'm not saying Marquis Mullen is in any of those categories specifically. I am saying that regardless of who's in office, regardless of how much you
Vince Colonnade
like them, you should always be attentive to the people who are wielding power
Justin
over whether or not your country goes in the right direction, all the way
Vince Colonnade
up to the president of the United States. One of the great things about President
Justin
Trump is he takes feedback, including when people disagree with him on things, especially if you are on this. If you want to reach the same destination but disagree with the strategy, wonderful. The president welcomes that kind of feedback.
Vince Colonnade
But Markway Mullen, we're on guard, dude. We're on guard for you. And one other thing, just, you know,
Justin
because in my perpetual honesty, I'm always thinking about these things.
Vince Colonnade
You do wonder, you ever wonder if
Justin
President Trump gave him the job because he thought, you know what? I think he'll be good at this, or at least good enough. And because maybe he's not the most ironclad America first senator ever. Like, in other words, like, he kind of took Mark Wayne Mullen out of the Senate because he thought, well, maybe somebody else should take that job and I'll have him as DHS secretary for a time.
Vince Colonnade
I don't know.
Justin
I don't know the answer to that question, but I've definitely thought about it. Definitely thought about it.
Vince Colonnade
So remain vigilant. That's the point.
Justin
Always be vigilant. Always keep your head on a swivel and always give these guys scrutiny. No matter how much you like them, it's always worth giving them scrutiny all the time.
