Hey everybody. Welcome to Vince on a Wednesday. It is so great to have you with us. As always, the best audience in all of media. I'm glad you're here. We've got a lot to get to today. We're gonna talk about the President of the United States just ripping all of the nations at the United nations yesterday. A well deserved beatdown from President Trump. We'll get into all the details there. Also, is it not abundantly clear that there were people at the UN attempting to sabotage the President's speech yesterday? We'll get into the details of that as well. Also, Jimmy Kimmel did appear on television again last night and he had some crocodile tears on his return. Tears that he didn't have when he was first telling jokes about Charlie Crook's assassination. I'll get into some of the details on that and we'll also talk about what can you do in a country with so much left wing violence. Nobody here wants to wait for the government to come in and rescue us. It takes the populace to have its head on a swivel. Be ready, be prepared and be capable of defending ourselves. Scott Bryson stops by. Former secret service guy. We'll talk to him about all of that and what it takes to protect your family. Big show ahead. Glad you're here. Okay, so as we begin this morning, there's a, there's a some live developments for those of you watching on rumble.com Vince and those of you who listen on the podcast by the time you hear this will likely have some more information. So I'll just give it some, some, some rapid fire coverage of, of what we're hearing as of this morning. Wednesday morning there was a shooting, somebody opened fire on an ICE facility in Dallas this morning and the breaking details on this are pretty plain. At this moment, we don't have a ton of information. An active shooter situation started at a Dallas ICE facility on Wednesday morning. According to a local Fox Dallas affiliate that left three detainees in ICE in ICE custody shot with multiple victims in critical condition. According to police, the suspect was a sniper on a roof armed with a rifle. The shooter has been identified by police, according to the Fox Dallas as a white man who died from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head as agents approached. The investigation is ongoing. The Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem said this morning that there were multiple injuries and fatalities. The shooter is deceased, she confirmed by a self inflicted gunshot wound. And, and at the moment that I'm talking about this and at the moment that Kristi Noem shared this, we don't know the motive, she said. Further, Trisha McLaughlin over at DHS confirmed that detainees, she told Fox News this morning were among the victims. So this is what we know right now. Couple of other additional things that we do know about attacks on ICE facilities. There have been a lot of them and this is not the first time that we've seen a shooting directed at an ICE facility in Texas. Andy Ngo reported earlier this year that there was an ambush attack in July on an ICE facility that was allegedly committed by Antifa North Texas Antifa cell attacking ice. ICE agents have been subjected to a dramatic uptick in attacks. A 1000% increase in assaults on ICE officials. I've been warning for a long time about this and how out of control this has become. Now, again, we don't know the motive here. We do know detainees were shot. And so as we await more details, we lift up our prayers for anybody who's been affected by this. Look, if you're here in our country illegally, you should be detained and you should be deported. You should not be murdered. That's crazy. And if that's who, if the guy was targeting these detainees, that is as horrific as it gets. It's also horrific, of course, to target ICE agents. So we'll keep track of the details as we get them. But another act of just gruesome violence, this time in Dallas. No stranger to these types of attacks. You remember, it was in the teens we saw. There was a Black Lives Matter terrorist, a guy. This is way before the 2020 iteration of this. You remember his name? Maybe it was Micah Xavier Johnson. He was the man who got up on the roof of a building in Dallas and fired a sniper rifle into police officers, killing a bunch of cops. And then he holed up in a parking garage. And remember, the way they ended that standoff is they used a robot. They drove a robot into the parking garage with explosives and detonated it next to him, killing the shooter because they weren't able to get to him in any other way. That was that. That's a long ago now BLM terror attack that I think so many people had forgotten. The media had definitely gone out of its way to suppress, but. But worth remembering as you think about a city like Dallas in a sniper attack. Yeah. Somebody in the chat says that was 2016. Yeah, that was so. It was. Yeah, that was a while ago, but that was. I instantly thought of that Dallas sniper attack. I remember one of those. That. That, of course, happened very recently. Okay. Of course, that's a breaking news item. Again, by the time you hear this on the podcast, you'll probably have a little bit more information on this subject. But prayers for anybody who's been affected by this. And we've just got to get people out of our country. We should not have people here illegally. We should have the left helping us get these people out of our country. But instead, their leaders helped bring people in by the millions. We wouldn't be in this situation if Joe Biden hadn't kicked the doors open and brought everybody in. Okay, let me get to that issue actually came up yesterday at the United nations. And this is where I wanted to really spend some time today was on the President of the United States. Our president now, Donald Trump, he goes to the UN and he is first and foremost. I gotta get right to the beginning of this thing. It was a total disaster. From the moment he arrived. The first thing I saw was him stepping up to the podium, to the lectern to give his address. And as he did, he noticed right away that the teleprompter appeared to be completely broken. Now, it would be one thing if it was just while there was a teleprompter mishap, but it was a part of a whole bunch of Other suspicious mishaps that took place yesterday at the United Nations. Let me begin with the President of the United States stepping up to the microphone yesterday. Cut one, here he is.
Donald Trump
Don't mind making this speech without a teleprompter because the teleprompter is not working. I feel very happy to be up here with you, nevertheless, and that way you speak more from the heart. I can only say that whoever's operating this teleprompter is in big trouble.
Vince
A funny, kind of funny, humorous moment. The President totally comfortable not having a teleprompter. He goes, look, I don't have it. I've got the written speech. I'll do it from the heart. Whatever it takes, I'm gonna get this speech out. And he did a great job. But as he was going on, he started listing out his successes. All of these things should have been applause lines yesterday. To be clear, he's laying out, look how many peace deals I got set up for you. One after the other after the other after the other. And you and I both know if Barack Obama had stood up there and reeled off all of the peace deals that he had somehow negotiated all across the planet, he'd be getting a day long standing ovation. But that's not what the President got yesterday. The un, it was stone cold silence. No applause for peace, no support for President Trump. And in fact, the President said, you know, it turns out the UN has basically done, done nothing for me. The only thing the UN's given me is a series of indignities while I've been here. Listen to the President explain this yesterday.
Donald Trump
Cut to no President or Prime minister, and for that matter, no other country has ever done anything close to that. And I did it in just seven months. It's never happened before. There's never been anything like that. Very honored to have done it. It's too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United nations doing them. And sadly, in all cases, the United nations did not even try to help in any of them. I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each and every one of these countries, and never even received a phone call from the United nations offering to help in finalizing the deal. All I got from the United nations was an escalator that on the way up stopped right in the middle. If the first lady wasn't in great shape, she would have fallen. But she's in great shape. We're both in good shape. We both stood and then a teleprompter that didn't work. This is. These are the two things I got from the United Nations. A bad escalator and a bad teleprompter. Thank you very much.
Vince
A bad escalator and a bad teleprompter. So I'm watching this speech. I go, wait a second. You telling me that the teleprompter for the President of the United States is all of a sudden just not working? He can't deliver the speech as he had written as was supposed to be in front of him, so he's got to read it off the paper. They always have a backup for him, so he was fine without it. And then you're telling me that the escalator broke. The escalator broke for the President of the United States, ladies and gentlemen. If you owned a building and you knew the President of the United States was gonna come visit it, you think maybe you would do a little escalator maintenance before he got there, make sure that escalator was functioning before he got there. The escalator's broken. And so I went and I checked the video out, and sure enough, there's video. Check this out. Here's President Trump, the First lady of the United States, getting on board the escalator. They take the first two steps onto a moving escalator, and then, boom. The escalator becomes stairs to crib. From an old Mitch Hedbrook joke. And then the President and the first lady, they start walking up. Now, notice, for those of you watching on rumble.com, vince, notice something. The Secret Service, they kind of, like, look around. He's got agents behind him. They just look around, but they don't do anything. And I'm. I have a lot of questions about this. Like, you don't do anything. That seems like a big moment that I know maybe for most people. I don't know. I don't know if you can screw it this way. If you were at the mall and the escalator broke down, you'd be like, well, that wasn't targeted. That was just. You know, there was a mall I busted, but the escalator broke. And, like, there didn't seem to be any sort of rapid movement to try and figure out what the hell was going on. And then let me just stack up the. You might be thinking like, oh, Vince, these are just coincidences, dude. I don't know why you're trying to link all this stuff together. What is going on here? Why are you suspicious about all this? How about this? You ready? Then we find out that apparently people at the UN Were already telling the media Sunday, days ago that they may need to turn off the escalators and tell the president they ran out of money, so he has to walk up the stairs. Look at this. Here's Caroline Levitt. She noticed this yesterday. Yesterday afternoon, it was the Times of London. They posted this and in the text they write, on Sunday, to mark Trump's arrival, UN Staff members have joked that they may turn off the escalators and the elevators and simply tell him that they ran out of money so he has to walk up the stairs. That was on Sunday, they said. So now we're starting to see that there's plenty of evidence to suggest that this was done intentionally. Caroline Levitt said this. If someone at the UN Intentionally stopped that escalator as the President and the first lady were stepping on it, they need to be fired and investigated immediately. The Times reported this on Sunday. So here we now we have a pile of evidence to suggest that people were actively sabotaging the President of the United States yesterday. And this is not a small deal, to be clear. This is not something that you can just be like, whatever things happen or, oh, it was a prank. No, it's not like that at all. Susan Crabtree, who we just had on the program the other day, who's excellent with the Secret Service, she says that her sources are telling her that this is a massive deal. She said, why did the Secret Service allow President Trump and Melania to even get on that escalator at the UN General assembly before his speech without moving quickly to protect the leader of the free world and his wife? The stalled escalator with President Trump and First Lady Melania stuck on it, was a classic setup for an assassination hit. Yet the Secret Service barely noticed and didn't pull the president and the first lady off the suddenly stopped stairs. Secret Service sources warn. So while Trump and the Justice Department and Pam Bondi and the Secret Service celebrate Ryan Routh's conviction that occurred yesterday, that was, remember, that was the Ukrainiac who tried to kill Trump in Florida. The President's security team with its zero fail mission, needs to be ever vigilant. Today could have been a horrible split screen. Sources in the Secret Service community are very concerned about what they witnessed from fellow agents today when President Trump was stalled and vulnerable. It's a similar critique to the Secret Service's delayed response in getting Trump off the stage after a bullet grazed his ear on July 13th. So, look, I'm seeing all this and my first reaction to the teleprompter Thing was like, what a bunch of idiots. What a bunch of what a half ass operation they're running at the un. But then you start getting all these other pieces together and you go, no, there's people who are playing around here and they're playing in an arena that they should not be playing in. This is dangerous stuff. The Secret Service needed to be on top of it. The Secret Service today should be on top of what the hell was going on yesterday at the United Nations. And look at the un. We spend all the money just to remind you your tax dollars go to keep that organization afloat. We keep it in New York. It is all done through the generosity of the American taxpayer. And that's the thanks we get. That kind of garbage, that kind of treatment to the President of the United States. And as far as the President's remarks are concerned, he just let these guys have it. He slammed the UN yesterday on behalf of the rest of us, man, this guy. I'll tell you what I knew going into this. Somebody asked me yesterday morning, hey, Vince, how do you think the President's gonna do tomorrow with this or later today with this UN speech? What do you think he's gonna say? I said, I think he's gonna do the same thing he always does when he addresses these international bodies. He's gonna beat them the hell up for failing their own people, for opening their borders, for bringing globalism to the world, for. For wrecking the global economy, for enriching themselves and for selling out their people and for hurting the United States. That's what he's gonna do. And then he's gonna brag about the successes, rightfully so, that the United States has had in turning all of these awful, awful trends around. That's what he's gonna do. And guess what? He did it yet again to my fanfare. For sure. I loved the President's speech yesterday. Here he is slamming the United nations for funding the migrant crisis all around the planet. Cut 5. Take a look.
Donald Trump
In 2024, the UN budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States. Think of that. The UN is supporting people that are illegally coming into the United States, and then we have to get them out. The UN also provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens. Can you believe that? On the way to infiltrate our southern border. But what took place is totally unacceptable. The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them and not finance them. In the United States. We reject the idea that mass numbers of people from foreign lands can be permitted to travel halfway around the world, trample our borders, violate our sovereignty, cause unmitigated crime, and deplete our social safety net. We have reasserted that America belongs to the American people. And I encourage all countries to take their own stand in defense of their citizens as well. You have to do that because I see it. I'm not mentioning names, I see it. And I can call every single one of them out. You're destroying your countries. They're being destroyed.
Vince
Destroying.
Donald Trump
Europe is in serious trouble. They've been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody's ever seen before.
Vince
Illegal is the only sane person in the room other than the American delegation who's there with him. He's the only sane person in the room. He said, what are you doing? You guys are suicidal. You're destroying your countries for your own power. How dare you? How completely inhuman you are to your own people. You're destroying them. And you've been funding the destruction of the whole planet to include the United States through this. And you've been, let's be honest, again, stealing American taxpayer money to do it. That's what the United nations has been doing. So the President confronts them. Yesterday, he confronted them on that. He condemned the child trafficking that's been going on. That's been all around the planet, too. That's an issue that Tom Holman and the team have been trying to tackle. Here's cut six. Here's the President condemning the child trafficking. This is not a situation they talk about at the. Unless Trump arrives.
Donald Trump
Listen, the previous administration also lost nearly 300,000 children. Think of that. They lost more than 300,000 children, little children who were trafficked into the United States on the Biden watch, many of whom have been raped, exploited and abused and sold. Sold. Nobody talks about that. The fake news doesn't write about it. With many others, young children who are missing or dead in America, those days, as you know, are over. The Trump administration is working and we are continuing to work to track down the villains that are causing this problem. And also, as I said, to get back the 30,000 we've already returned. Now I think we're going to have another. We're going to find a lot. You're not going to find all of them. 300. More than 300,000. They're lost or they're dead. They're lost or they're dead because of the animals that did this.
Vince
God bless the President. You know, you and I have been Asking for actual leaders who are going to save the. These children from the horrors that they're experiencing. Not sell them out, not traffic them into the United States, not treat them as sex slaves or as indentured servants and put into these horrific labor conditions. And finally, we've got a president who's doing something about it. RFK Jr. And Tom Holman and President Trump and ICE and the FBI and Dan Bongino. These guys are hunting down the child abusers, they're taking them into custody, and they're saving these kids at record numbers. And the President has a lot to be proud of as that mission continues. One last thing for you from the UN Speech. There are. I could just. I could do hours on the UN Speech because that's how good it was. But I figured that he was gonna bring up the fact that we're stopping the drugs from flowing into our country by blowing up the cartel ships. Yeah, he brought that up. Here's cut eight. Here's the President saying, hey, here's a message. Don't you dare, or else we'll blow you out of the water. Listen.
Donald Trump
To protect our citizens, I've also designated multiple savage drug cartels as forests. You see this, and you see it happening right before your eyes. Let's put it this way. People don't like taking big loads of drugs in boats anymore. There aren't too many boats that are traveling on. On the seas by Venezuela. They tend not to want to travel very quickly anymore. And we virtually stopped drugs coming into our country by sea. We call them the water drugs. This reason we've recently begun using the supreme power of the United States military to destroy Venezuelan terrorists and trafficking networks led by Nicholas Maduro. To every terrorist thug smuggling poisonous drugs into the United States of America, please be warned that we will blow you out of existence. That's what we're doing. We have no choice. Can't let it happen. They're destroying. I believe we lost 300,000 people last year to drugs. 300,000 fentanyl and other drugs. Each boat that we sink carries drugs that would kill more than 25,000Americans. We will not let that happen.
Vince
We will not let that happen. I love. I love President Trump. I just love. I don't know about you, but this is my instinct anyway. I just think about the people in that room. There's, like, diplomats and kind of just like. Just a bunch of weak beta people just sitting there, you know, twiddling their thumbs and pretending like they're. They're angry about Trump or whatever. And he goes in, he goes. I just want to tell everybody, if you cross the United States, if you harm a hair on the head of any American citizen, we're going to blow you out of the water. Anybody, anybody, any reaction, anybody, we will kill you. Is the message that the President delivered yesterday to all these bitchy diplomats, which I couldn't have asked for a better presentation. Thank you President Trump for being great. This is, I think that's what I voted for, actually. Uh, all right, let me see. Yeah, the chat says I voted for this. Yeah, I voted for this too. Hey, all right, let me. We've got a lot more to get to on the program. A lot more to get to on the program in just a moment. Before we get there though, C15 from fatty 15 is fantastic. Okay, real quick for you. The the Kimmel show came back on the air yesterday, although with 25% fewer affiliates because remember Sinclair and Nexstar were like, yeah, we're not airing that idiot. Like, he's done. He's done enough. We're gonna keep him off the air. They kept him off the air yesterday. But he did show up for a moment. He did show up on some stations, and suddenly the guy's got crocodile tears. Suddenly he's getting very choked up on the air now. Notice, of course, he didn't get choked up when he was insinuating that conservatives had killed Charlie Kirk now a week ago Monday. But he gets on the air yesterday and now that his job has been on the line and he's suddenly very choked up. Here he is, cut 10, Jimmy Kimmel. Yesterday.
Jimmy Kimmel
It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.
Donald Trump
I don't think there's anything funny about it.
Jimmy Kimmel
I posted a message on Instagram on the day he was killed sending love to his family and asking for compassion. And I meant it, and I still do. Nor was it my intention to blame any specific group for the actions of what it was obviously a deeply disturbed individual. That was really the opposite of the point I was trying to make. But I understand that to some that felt either ill timed or unclear or maybe both. And for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you're upset. If the situation was reversed, there was a good chance I'd have felt the same way.
Vince
So this is the part where you would say, I apologize for being an idiot. I apologize for what I said. I should not have said that. I apologize to the Kirk family. I apologize to the country. The word apology never actually came out of his mouth. He didn't apologize for anything. And then he tried to say that it was actually Erica Kirk. Totally motivated him, totally moved him. Here he is cut 11, saying he watched the Charlie's memorial service and that Erica was so motivational to him.
Jimmy Kimmel
Listen, over the weekend, a very beautiful moment. I don't know if you saw this on Sunday. Erica Kirk forgave the man who shot her husband. She forgave him. That is an example we should follow. If you believe in the teachings of Jesus, as I do, there it was, that's it. A selfless act of grace, forgiveness from a grieving widow. It touched me deeply and I hope.
Donald Trump
Touches many.
Jimmy Kimmel
And if there's anything we should take from this tragedy to carry forward, I hope it can be that.
Vince
He never apologized to her. And again, he, he, he summoned up big emotional response that he did not have on his first broadcast after Charlie Crook was assassinated. His first broadcast Monday, that he did nothing like that. And one more point on this subject, I told you yesterday we talked at some length about this, that ABC affiliates have been subjected to terror attacks and threats in the wake of Disney suspending Kimmel. Last week in Sacramento, California, a gunman opened fire on an ABC affiliate. It was a terrorist attack because he was angry. It's so obviously clear he was angry that Jimmy Kimmel was suspended in his suv. Authorities found notes threatening the deaths of all sorts of top government officials to include Pam Bondi, Cash Patel and Dan Bongino. That was inside of the guy's vehicle. Now, how much time did Jimmy Kimmel spend on that subject yesterday as he claims that he was speaking out against political violence? How much time did he spend on this thing that a terrorist was looking to and did in the end successfully induce Disney into putting Jimmy Kimmel back on the air? How much time? Zero seconds. Zero. Kimmel did not mention the attacks on ABC affiliates during his suspension. He didn't mention that left wingers have been using violence as a means to get Jimmy Kimmel back on the air. So let's be honest about what we saw yesterday was an expression of Kimmel's emotional adherence to his own career, not to any well meaning for the country. And that's disappointing and predictable. Again, as I say, not shocking, but appalling. But appalling. All right. More ahead on the program. Speaking of left wing violence, you know, one of the things I hate about all of this left wing violence, starting with that it's happening at all, is this idea that like anybody should feel helpless in this country, that you feel like things are descending and you're wondering what can we do about all of this? My next guest has really good answers on this subject. We don't have to wait for the government to rescue everybody. There are a lot of things that you can do for yourself and for your family to instantly make this country a better place to live and a safer place to live. We'll explore that in just a moment here on Vince. Good to have you back with us, sir.
Scott Bryson
Hey Vince, thank you for having me.
Vince
Pleasure to be here. It is good to have you. Let me ask you first and foremost about the Secret Service, if I can just right away. I talked earlier in this program about the president of the United States went to the United nations yesterday, and he stepped aboard an escalator at the UN as on Sunday of this week, there was already reporting, suggesting that people at the UN were, quote, joking about shutting the escalators off when he got there as a way to say that they needed more money or something. Well, sure enough, he steps on the escalator with the first lady. The thing stops when they're about a step or two up. He has to ascend the steps with the first lady after that. And as best I could tell, the Secret Service didn't really get animated about that. They just sort of shrugged and just walked up the steps. That's led to some coverage today, including from Susan Crabtree, suggesting that there are concerns about the security response to that event. What do you make of it? SCOTT?
Scott Bryson
Well, with all due respect to Susan, I love her. I follow her content, and she's she's amazing. But I think it's not as big a deal as as you might think it would be, because the UN Is extremely secure venue, as you can imagine. There's multiple layers of security inside and out. And by the time you get into the to the lobby there or the escalators are, it's pretty much everybody there is either a delegate or security personnel. So there's really I don't want to go so far as to say that there couldn't be a threat, but it's a very secure area, if that makes any sense. So one of the things about the Secret Service is too, you know, remember the old commercial, don't let them see you sweat. You might be panicking internally just a little bit, but you have to you have to proceed with caution, and there's some urgency, but you just don't want to you don't want to show that, if that makes any sense.
Vince
Okay, so an event like that, will that induce an internal assessment of whether or not the right sequence of events occurred? So in other words, like, that's an unusual event where you're moving the protectee. Will the Secret Service take an inventory of how that went down in order to prepare for something like that again in the future?
Scott Bryson
Yes, absolutely. There'll be a debrief. Every time we go somewhere, there's always a debrief. One of the worst things that you can do with the leader of the free world is put him in an elevator. I know that's not what we're talking about, but elevators are Always a big concern for the agent that's in charge of the hotel. Right. That's called the RO in agent that remain overnight. So that agent always has an engineer in his back pocket. His or her back pocket. The escalator is not quite as important because it was open and you don't have to worry about being trapped inside a vault. But yes, they will 100% debrief that and they will come up with countermeasures for the future.
Vince
Okay, Yeah, I will admit I'm still very concerned about this because I've seen how many times people have tried to kill this president and now I'm on high alert for everything that happens around him. Scott, let's talk about what's going on in the country right now. We've seen a series of very violent left wing attacks on our country that has led to, I think, a lot of people being very, very concerned about where everything is going. As I've noted many times on this program, the left has an unfortunate and completely asymmetric assassination culture right now. When you get a majority of people on the center left saying that they could justify the assassination of President Trump, we've reached a very, very dangerous level that's manifested itself in no small way, including the assassination of Charlie Kirk now two weeks ago. And I look at that and I've been wondering, and one of the things I want to talk to you about is what can people do for themselves? I know oftentimes we talk about how can the government protect us, how can we stop the left from being so violent? But it does seem that an armed populace and an alert populace will make a big difference. Do you think that's the case?
Scott Bryson
Yes, absolutely. The Second Amendment's a beautiful thing. And I think unfortunately, not everyone takes advantage of that. I certainly do. I've been in law enforcement for 30 years, so I'm pretty much armed everywhere I go. But even if I was just a citizen, when I do retire and I'm no longer sworn, I will always take advantage of the Second Amendment. You know, what I think you need to do is we talk about on my show a lot are the color codes of awareness. If your audience isn't familiar with that, I would ask them to look that up on the Internet. It's called the color codes of awareness. We need to stay in condition yellow. Condition white is at the bottom of the spectrum. It's like complete oblivious. Like we're just oblivious to our surroundings. We don't have any idea what's going on around us. Condition yellow is Just like a low level of alert readiness. We're not paranoid. We're not scared to go out in public. We're doing our thing, we're minding our own business, but we get our noses out of our phones, first of all, and we put those things in our pockets or purses and we try to get. We try to get through the grocery store without being sucked into TikTok. That's the number one thing. Situational awareness is what I like to talk about. You can't walk around and blind panic either. That's condition black. We don't want to ever go in condition white or condition black. We want to stay somewhere in the middle. And so that's just condition yellow. It's. It's being alert, it's being aware. It's just being. Having a plan. A lot of this stuff, Vince, happens before you even leave to go to the grocery store or to work. You have to what I call war game. You know, football coaches have a game plan. They don't just show up on Friday night and hope for the best. Right. They have a plan. Well, you also have to have a plan, and that's called mental awareness. And that's before you ever leave the house.
Vince
It's.
Scott Bryson
It's like, well, if this, then that. That's what I do. If this happens, then that happens. There's a thousand what if scenarios. You're not going to be able to figure them all out. But just having some type of plan prior to going somewhere is. Is a key thing. Like we. We saw weeks, about a month ago now. The poor young lady died on the train in Charlotte. My, you know, basically my backyard. Sit with your back against the wall. Sit with your back against the window. You know, and I'm not blaming her. She was on her phone minding her own business. But instead of having your head down, maybe hold the phone up and have a little bit of peripheral vision, maybe take your earbuds out, have one earbud in. You know, things like that. We're not going to live in fear, but we also have to be alert.
Vince
Yeah, no, that's for sure. You know, I think about all the things that, like the little things that go through my mind before I go somewhere. If I'm going to. Into kind of a high crime area. I don't want my wallet obviously hanging out of my pocket or something or bulged on my pocket. Maybe I'll trim down the number of cards I'm carrying, or maybe I won't carry any cards at all. I'll just Rely on my phone's card service, because I know that that's behind a password. If my phone got stolen, I couldn't have my money stolen from me. Or as a father and a husband, being aware when you're walking, when you're with your wife or your child, about keeping them away from the road and away from whatever danger is just like the subtle things that you triage. You're like, okay, I just want to just be careful of the basic things, including, like, standing on a subway platform. I never stand next, right next to the tracks while I'm waiting for the train. I stand, you know, a couple body lengths away from where the train's going to arrive for fear that even if somebody bumped into me, I don't want to be bumped into the tracks. Like, you know, you triage these things, right?
Scott Bryson
Absolutely. You said it very perfectly. You know, and the thing about it is, too, with technology, technology is wonderful. Obviously, we're communicating right now on a platform, that's great. But if you could just maybe be a little bit more selective when you do get on your phone. So if you're standing on the platform, to your point, you know, just kind of look around. You don't have to be on your phone all the time. You know, maybe wait till you get seated, then to get back to your favorite podcast or to, you know, X or whatever you're looking at. But just having a situational awareness, having a plan. I love what you said about walking down the sidewalks. That's also a sign of a true gentleman. You're going to put your wife or your girlfriend on the inside. You're going to walk if you're a real man. Okay, here's some free old man advice to your audience that they didn't ask for. Walk on the edge of the curb. Put your wife or girlfriend inside on the sidewalk. God forbid. It could be an accident. It could be someone texting and driving or a drunk driver. You could at least shove her out of the way. You don't want to get hit by a car either, but that's called chivalry, and you have to take care of the people you love. So walking on the outside of the sidewalk is very important to me.
Vince
Yeah, no, that's a really big deal. I think, too. Let me talk to me about concealed carry. Not every state is as good as it should be on this subject, but it does seem like we do have a growing awareness of the importance of concealed carry. How valuable do you think that is for Americans and to get trained and to learn how to use a firearm and to keep it on them if they necessary.
Scott Bryson
Yeah, I think that's great. I mean it gets back to the second Amendment. You, we, we take so much for granted in this country. But if you go to another country, you'd be very surprised. Some, some of these people out here, especially the lib. I don't think your audience as much, but the people on the left would be very surprised at how intolerant the world is. And so we have the second Amendment. We should, we should take advantage of that. Some states have open carry, some states have ccw. What I would recommend is if you're going to care, I carry everywhere. Okay. And I'm not suggesting that someone should break the law, but you should, if you're traveling, say you're living in Virginia and you're going to Florida, but you're going to drive. I would look up the state laws for each one of those states to see if there's reciprocity. Right. And you know, the gun doesn't do you a whole lot of good locked up in the trunk or locked in the glove box. So you know, I think it's, for me it's a, it's about asking for forgiveness versus permission again, but you want to be careful. You don't want to, you don't want to break the law intentionally, but you also want to take care of the ones you love.
Vince
Do you have recommendations on firearms for concealed carry? I know people like to carry small guns. I'm trying to remember. In fact, I think in, in our house we're going to do a little bit more gun shopping soon. I think it was the Glock 43X, the 9 millimeter, a lot of people like. And there's a, there's a Sig Sour too that people are really high on.
Scott Bryson
Yeah, those are great weapons. But when I was with the Secret Service, we carried Sigs for most of my time there. And then we transitioned over to the Glock. I like the Glock 19. It's sort of a mid size weapon. The Glock 43X like you just mentioned is, is amazing. It's a single stack. It's got 10 plus one. So it's, it's a little bit smaller and it, I like to wear my gun appendix and it fits right in your waistline pretty nicely. It's slim. So like a Glock 19 is gonna be a little bit more bulky. The Glock 43X or the 48, those are slim. Single stack magazines is 10 plus one. And a lot of my friends Disagree with me on this, but I don't even carry a spare magazine. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't, but I don't carry a spare magazine. I've had to carry all this gear for all these years, so I carry my gun with me. And then God forbid I have to get into a, an altercation, I'm going to, you know, do what I have to do and I'm going to get my family off the X and I'm immediately calling 911. I don't carry a bunch of extra ammo to be in a prolonged gunfight. Now when I'm on the road, I definitely have a go bag and I also have my shoulder weapon with me. So I think it's not cookie cutter. But for everyday carry, absolutely carry something that you're comfortable with.
Vince
And how do you recommend people carry? If they're concealed carrying, how do you recommend people carry?
Scott Bryson
First of all, that's a great question. What I wanted to say, and I failed to say was we never pull a gun for a bluff. You would only pull your gun if you feel like you absolutely need it. I've told my wife for years, don't pull it for a bluff. Okay? If you're pulling it. If you think, oh, gosh, I have to do this or I'm going to die, I, um, I, it's, it's preference. But for me, I'm right handed. Most people are right hand dominant. You can wear it on your hip, but then it's kind of hard to conceal, especially in the summertime. In the wintertime it's easier because coats and things like that. I like to wear it on the appendix, right, you know, right on my right growing area. A lot of people carry it in your back. The smaller your back is good. You know, they're, they're shoulder holsters and things like that, but those are a little cumbersome. I think. It's, you know, there's ankle holsters, there's all kinds of things. I think you just have to find what's really comfortable for you. Because here's the thing for your audience, if it's not comfortable, you're not going to carry it. And you have to carry it.
Vince
Yeah, you do, you do. One of the things that I was struck by was the attack on the Annunciation Catholic Church that we saw, Minneapolis, a couple of weeks back. And when that happened, you had a gunman firing through the windows of that church into that school mass. And I kept thinking, God, if only there was somebody to fire back. If Only there was somebody who could, because, you know, these kids are getting killed and you want somebody to be armed to shoot back. Now, one thing, Scott, that I believe a lot of churches have done across the country is these days there's more and more parishioners and people who are attending these churches who are armed, who actually have kind of gotten together and thought, okay, we need at least a couple of us just to, you know, just to protect the place if necessary, God forbid. But you see something like that happen and you realize that's a real world event where a good guy with a gun would make a huge difference.
Scott Bryson
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. The only thing that's going to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. And I can't remember what year it was, but within the last 10 years, the. The older gentleman down in, I believe it was Texas, he shot the guy across the sanctuary with one shot.
Vince
That was Sutherland Springs, I believe. I could be wrong. I remember there was an NRA trained, actually an NRA trainer who ended up stopping a shooting down in Texas.
Scott Bryson
Yeah, I mean, listen, I would rather have it not need it than need it not have it. You know what I mean? And I think most churches do have security, some type of security platform. What I would recommend, if it's in your budget, which it should be, I would hire an off duty deputy or police officer, have a uniform presence if possible. Not every church can afford that, and I understand that. But having that police car out front, having that uniform in the lobby, that could be an abort criteria. I mean, if you think about some of these school shootings, and the one that I think about is the one in Tennessee, the transgender woman, she. She had two targets, right? And she ended up choosing the one target because it didn't have armed security. So she had it narrowed down to two schools and she chose the softer target. So we have to become a hard target. We don't want to live, you know, like it's Fort Knox or the Gestapo or anything crazy like that, but we have to. We have to have what I call abort criteria.
Vince
Yeah. Well, I'm glad you're out there and giving people this advice. People can hear more about this on Scott's excellent podcast. It's called Scott Bryson beyond the Service. Former Secret Service agent and a contributor here at Silverlock. Scott, I appreciate you. Thank you very much for your time today as we address all of this.
Scott Bryson
Thank you, Vince. I appreciate it.
Vince
There he is, Scott Bryson. And you can find him on socials at scottbrysonbts as in beyond the the service. Thank you to Scott. Yeah, and you know, get trained up. If you haven't done it yet, get trained up on those guns, get trained up on concealed carry and go out and get yourself one if you feel comfortable with that, to protect yourself and your family. They say an armed society is a polite society and that's what we want, isn't it? And I'll just remind you, I've talked with John Lott a lot through the years and I've read all of his coverage over at the Crime Prevention Research Center. And one of the things he keeps pointing out is that the media never tell you the extent to which good guys with guns avert greater tragedies. It happens all the time. The press does not tell you about this. Occasionally it might pop up in local news stories because if a gun is discharged, typically in a small community, that's an issue that could be a big story. But then other than that, you don't get national press coverage that hero stopped massacre from happening. It does happen a lot. Mass shootings are routinely insofar as mass shootings could even happen, potentially are routinely stopped by good guys with guns, people with the wherewithal to fire back. And God bless every person who does that. So it's worth thinking about and it should give you cause for hope that this is well within your control to help make your society polite. So thank you to Scott for helping us, for helping us do that. Now, candidly, there are people in our society who are completely deranged. And they're not just violent towards others, but they're destructive towards themselves. Have you been witnessing any of the Trump derangement syndrome on display lately among pregnant women? These are lefty pregnant women who are now chugging Tylenol to protest Donald Trump. You familiar with this phenomenon? So President Trump earlier this week steps out to a microphone alongside of his HHS secretary, alongside of his FDA director. So you got Marty Makary and Jay Bhattacharya, RFK Jr. These guys are great, Dr. Oz, all great people, all well educated. These are real scientists, real doctors. They've been real clinicians, educators. And they come out and they say, hey, look, there's a problem here. Tylenol. If you do prolonged consumption of Tylenol as a pregnant woman, it's linked, the science demonstrates to an uptick in things like autism and ADHD for your in utero child. And you should be made aware of this. And we're just going to start telling the public about this. We're going to issue some warnings on this subject and we're going to talk to doctors about it. This is a totally normal thing that the government should be doing, and yet the left is going ballistic over it because Trump had anything to do with it. Trump had anything to do with. So they go absolutely crazy. They go so crazy that you have left wing, mentally incontinent pregnant women now chugging Tylenol on social media, harming their own child in an effort to get back at Trump. Take a look at this.
Scott Bryson
About to take Tylenol for my headache while pregnant because I don't take my medical advice from a man who doesn't have a degree in science, health care, or medicine and who had a parasitic brain infection and was addicted to heroin for 14 years. Yeah, I'll trust my doctors who have their degree.
Vince
And those are just two samples. There's a lot of them. They're all over TikTok right now. The libs of TikTok are absolutely going ballistic. You know, Trump says, Trump tells them, hey, this bad idea to take Tylenol, it might hurt your kid. Okay, I'm going to hurt my kid. Now what? This is the left. They always resort to child sacrifice in order to achieve their political ends. Every time it's like, how about stop doing that? Oh, yeah, and tylenol back in 2017, the official position of Tylenol is that we don't recommend using any of our products while pregnant. Thank you for your time. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns today. That almost. Actually, you know what's funny about that Tylenol statement, in addition to just telling the truth about their, their position on their product is they basically end it with, thank you for your attention to this matter. We don't recommend taking our products while you're pregnant. Thank you for your attention to this matter. That was tylenol back in 2017. So wait, if Tylenol said it, then what's the problem with Trump saying it? And Trump said it? So the problem is Trump said it. So I'm going to. I'm going to poison my child. Now. That's a good plan, you idiot. I mean, it'd be one thing if she was hurting herself, but us, you know, conservatives, people with a brain, they recognize this is a unique human that you're hurting. So you're doing something awful to your child. Stop doing that. Don't do that. But, you know, what should the president do next? What else should he advise libs to do? My friend Sean Farish says that he should Advise them to breathe. Just tell libs, hey, you know, breathing is good for you. It's very good for you. Libs will stop breathing. What if President Trump tells them, hey, don't operate heavy machinery while you're intoxicated? You know what they do. You know exactly what they would do. They're so crazy. What about a Don't drink urine? Did you see that one going around? If President Trump says, hey, don't drink your own urine, what do the libs.
Donald Trump
Do.
Vince
Drinking pee on TikTok? These people are crazy, man. I. We live in the same country as them. Don't chug bleach. Don't get sterilized. Oh, I'm telling you. You know, the crazy thing is, you know, sometimes we've, you know, the right comforts itself being like, hey, these libs are so crazy, they're killing off their own kids. It's so awful what they're doing. But maybe, you know, if they're doing this, they're sterilizing themselves, they're going out, they're bragging about their vasectomies, they're killing off their own babies. Maybe in the end there won't be any libs left if they keep doing this. And you know what happens in the absence of their own children to turn into mentally incontinent libs? You know what they've been doing? They've been turning our kids into mentally incontinent libs. They take them inside the school system and they manipulate them there. So even if they're sterilizing themselves, somehow the cancer continues to spread. I hate to tell you that just keeps happening. But there's. There's the. There's the libs of TikTok they're poisoning. They're dumping. They're dumping Tylenol down their throats right now because they don't like Trump. This is the most predictable thing you've ever seen. It's unreal. It's. It's so crazy what these people do. One more thing for you. For those of you on Rumble, first of all, God bless you, rumble.com Vince, you can consume the podcast all the time. We've got a story for you here about the other guys. A friend of mine calls them Screw Tube. You familiar with ScrewTube? YouTube? The other guys, Google announced yesterday. They sent a letter to Congress yesterday saying, hey, our bad. We banned a bunch of conservatives from YouTube, conservative content creators from YouTube, and we'd love to have you back now. You're welcome back on YouTube now. And so Google has officially reversed course on its position on banning conservative creators, particularly anybody who voiced concerns about the 2020 election or Covid. So YouTube was banning everybody who was rightly raising concerns about how the 2020 election was conducted and about COVID and about the insanity of what was happening to our country and all the forced injections and the masks and where Covid came from, all of it. So they were banning people, and now they're begging people to come back. YouTube is on bended knee, begging you to go back to YouTube. That's the system here. And there's all sorts of people. I've seen it in the covers they're talking about they wish would have come back. Among them are people like Sebastian Gorka and Dan Bongino. They're like, man, I really wish Dan would come back. At least the Fox News coverage had that. And I'm sitting here thinking, you guys sound panicked. You guys sound like you didn't think we were serious. You guys sound like you didn't think that this would happen, that Rumble would be this massive success, that. That the audience was gonna say, well, if you're not gonna have our guys there, we'll go somewhere else. We'll go to where they are. We want a free speech platform. So people went to the free speech platform. They went to Rumble. Now we'll see if this newfound Contrition actually holds YouTube's position. And Google what they've been saying is, well, the only reason we were banning everybody, we were under this immense pressure from the Biden administration. It was crazy. And we don't think any government should be pressuring us into banning people. It's just out of control. We believe in free speech. Yada, yada, yada. So what are you telling me? Are you telling me that the next time God forbid, a Democrat like Joe Biden comes along and is in the White House, you're just gonna ban the rest of us again? That's what we have awaiting us. So why should we jump back into YouTube? Why should we do that? Explain that to me. No, I like the free speech environment. I'm happy with Rumble. We've got the best damn audience in media. It's been absolutely great being on Rumble, and I think we're gonna continue to have a very good free speech success on this platform. So, you know, YouTube is absolutely begging everybody to come back. I think we'll stay here. I think we'll be fine. Thank you. Thank you for that. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Hey, speaking of Rumble and what you can view on Rumble, I got the big national radio show coming up today, 12 to 3 Eastern Time. Host: Vince Coglianese
Guest: Scott Bryson (Former Secret Service Agent, Host of “Beyond the Service”)
Air Date: September 24, 2025
Vince unpacks the recent controversies surrounding President Trump’s speech at the United Nations, suggesting attempts at sabotage by “globalist” actors inside the UN. The episode analyzes technical glitches experienced by the President—including a failed teleprompter and a broken escalator—speculates on intentional malfeasance, and discusses security protocol. The show also covers themes of left-wing violence, conservative self-protection, media hypocrisy, and bizarre trends among Trump’s adversaries. An interview with former Secret Service agent Scott Bryson discusses personal and family security in a volatile America.
(02:10–06:30)
“If you're here in our country illegally, you should be detained and you should be deported. You should not be murdered. That's crazy.” (06:03)
(06:30–25:00)
"I can only say that whoever's operating this teleprompter is in big trouble." (07:53)
"If someone at the UN intentionally stopped that escalator as the President... they need to be fired and investigated immediately." (11:55)
“The stalled escalator with President Trump and First Lady Melania… was a classic setup for an assassination hit. Yet the Secret Service barely noticed…” (13:10)
A. Blasting the UN’s Migration Policies
“The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them and not finance them.” (17:20)
“You’re destroying your countries. They’re being destroyed.” (18:19)
B. Condemnation of Child Trafficking
“More than 300,000. They're lost or they're dead because of the animals that did this.” (19:47)
C. Drug War and Use of Force
“To every terrorist thug smuggling poisonous drugs… please be warned that we will blow you out of existence.” (22:12)
D. Vince’s Color Commentary:
(26:00–29:00)
“The word apology never actually came out of his mouth.” (26:48)
“He didn’t mention that left wingers have been using violence as a means to get Jimmy Kimmel back on the air.” (28:31)
(33:19–48:19) [Interview with Scott Bryson]
“The UN is … a very secure area, if that makes any sense… there’ll be a debrief … and they will come up with countermeasures for the future.” (34:17–36:09)
“We need to stay in condition yellow.” (37:21)
“Situational awareness … is just being having a plan.” (38:23)
“If it’s not comfortable, you’re not going to carry it. And you have to carry it.” (45:44)
(50:00–54:00)
“I'm about to take Tylenol for my headache while pregnant because I don't take my medical advice from a man who doesn't have a degree in science…” (51:29)
(54:00–56:18)
Vince’s episode is a tour de force of conservative commentary: part exposé, part rallying cry for self-reliance, and part critique of institutional security and media double standards. With sharp wit and punchy delivery, Vince ties current events into broader themes of globalism, political sabotage, and the everyday challenges facing American families.
Flowing quote:
“They say an armed society is a polite society, and that's what we want, isn't it?” (49:15)
Listeners are urged to stay vigilant—both about threats to political leaders and to themselves and their families—while rejecting media manipulation and seeking out free speech spaces for honest conversation.
