Well, somebody's got to do it. Somebody's got to hit the campaign trail. Somebody's got to convince people to vote for Republicans going into the midterms. And by and large, it's not going to be congressional Republicans. They should. They should do it. And there are things that they can be proud of. The big, beautiful bill, for instance, is something that they can run around and tell people about. That's a good thing, cutting people's taxes. But by and large, this whole thing is really about the Trump agenda, isn't it? It's about what has Donald Trump achieved this year? With some assists from some Republicans in Washington, Not a lot, but some big, beautiful bill comes to mind. And then what is on the line? What are we gonna give up if Democrats win either or both houses? What? No, this is a huge, huge year that we're going into for a million different reasons, including it's the 250th anniversary of our great country, America. 250. President Trump hits the campaign trail yesterday and an event designed to celebrate the year that's now behind us. He goes to Pennsylvania. Anybody in the commonwealth. Anybody in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania? In the chat as President Trump heads to Mount Pocono, goes to a beautiful area of the country to speak to a great state that put him across the finish line yet again. Pennsylvania, one of those swing states, by the way, all of them that voted for Donald Trump in the last election and said, yeah, we'd like that guy back, please. He's back now. And now he's going up, back to Pennsylvania with a status report. You sent me back into the Oval Office, and here's what I've done for you. Here we go. Hello to Pennsylvania. By the way, all my Keystone Staters in the chat this morning, quite a few of you, Good morning to you. Here's the president saying, you know, what's happened so far. Let's try gas prices cut 1. Watch this.
B
We're right now drilling more oil than we've ever done ever before. Prices are way down. We just had four states. It was just reported that four states had $1.99 a gallon.
We're sawmill.
A
Yeah. Gas prices are the lowest they've been as a percentage of the average American's budget in two decades, back to the beginning of this century. That's how low gas prices have fallen again. This is a statistical thing. This is an average. Every time I bring this statistic up, people, well, my gas prices are still very high. I'm in. You know, you're in California. Of course they're high because the state imposes ridiculous Taxes on you, they're sky high. So, yes. Are there differences around the country? Absolutely. But on average, it is true. The average American is paying less as a percentage of their budget than they have in over two decades. Now, you can thank President Trump for pursuing a drill baby, drill agenda, kicking down the regulations that were getting in the way of American energy exploration and getting more oil out to the people. Now, what does that mean for you and for from me, not only are you paying less at the pump, as a result, you end up paying less for everything. Think about all those Amazon trucks that are circling the neighborhoods all around the country, delivering at all hours of the day. You pay a little bit extra, suddenly this thing arrives even faster. You got cars all over the place, vehicles, commercial drivers, trucks, everything. As a result, the input costs that go in to those companies, like fuel for their trucks, they don't need to worry about covering that quite as much now as they sell these products. That means the, the rise in prices, at the very least slows or we even see prices come down. Energy is the beginning of all of it. So when the President emphasizes gas prices, that's a huge deal. You know, I was watching the President last night. I was, I was seated on Newsmax, on Rob Finnerty's program on Newsmax last night, waiting for the President to conclude his remarks. And I was watching the whole speech with some glee. I thought he was doing a great job. High energy is funny, you know, like Ms. Now or whatever it's called. Ms. Now that, that place that used to be called msnbc, they were crapping all over the President. Oh, signs of fatigue. Signs of fatigue. None of you idiots could do an off the top of your dome, one hour and 48 minute speech. You're sitting there with teleprompters and you're just constantly beating up on Donald Trump because you don't like him and you hate that people keep sending him back to the White House. Yeah, no, Trump, Trump did it. So I was impressed by certainly his rigor. But the guy gets up there and he does this. And I'm thinking, finally, man, somebody tells a good story about what the hell's going on in this country. Have you noticed? I know this isn't you because you're eternally optimistic and you love your country, but if you notice that there's like black pill people out there that are like, oh, the economy's in shambles and Trump's not doing anything and he hasn't fixed anything. Hold on a second. Look, all I'm asking for is for people to be realistic, be realistic. Have housing prices come down to the level we want them? No, we got, we got to bring down the cost of housing. We got to deport a lot of people, too. That's a huge way to get to that level. Has gas come down to the level that everyone's like, oh, that's the best. Let's stay there forever. No, we could keep going down, let's keep doing that, keep drilling, keep drilling. By the way, it's also a huge advantage in national security for the United States to have massive quantities of cheap energy because that means we can export it, too. And that means that Russia is not making all the money on the gas and Venezuela isn't making all the money on the gas and Iran's not making all the money on the gas, which means that we can cool down these global conflicts thanks to American energy production. But I'm telling you right now, you gotta be. First of all, you gotta pat yourself on the back for what you've been able to accomplish by sending Donald Trump back to this White House. So we see gas prices come down. That's good. Here's another data point that nobody dwells on except for yours truly in this wonderful audience. How about our jobs numbers? What do our jobs numbers look like right now? Well, all the job gains, unlike in the Biden era, are going to American citizens. Natural native born Americans. Native born American workers are getting all the job gains. Foreigners, they're getting the hell out. Listen to the President here. Cut to watch.
B
Before I entered office, 100% of all new net jobs were going to migrant workers. Think of that. 100% of new jobs were going to migrant. These are government numbers, by the way. These are not Trump numbers. These are government numbers because they say, well, did Trump come up with these numbers? No, I didn't come up. I'm just. Migrant workers and illegal aliens got 100%. But since I took office, 100% of all net job creation has gone to American citizens. How about that.
Now? How about that? Even I will give myself a hand.
Now think of it. 100% went to American citizens before, 100% went to people that came into the country illegally again, many of them from prisons, many of them gang members, drug members. Trende Aragua. More Americans are working today than at any time in the history of our country.
A
All right, so those are numbers to be proud of. Oh, but Vince, the job market's not perfect. We still need more job. Yes. Hell yes. I'm not doubting that. In fact, we can say that with confidence. Are Americans still in financial straits? Yeah, of course. We've got over a trillion dollars in credit card debt. You think that's good for our country is horrible. It's horrible. Donald Trump has a massive, massive mess to clean up.
They left shit everywhere. Donald Trump is still cleaning up the house. And that's gonna continue. And if you want it to continue, you gotta vote in big margins going into the midterms to expand the numbers for Republicans so that the Trump agenda can be fully fulfilled. The President said last night, look, yes, we're almost done a year, but we got three years left. And he said, in Trump time, that's an eternity. That's a lot of time. Kind of makes sense. The President achieves more in a day than most people achieve in a lifetime. So, yeah, he's got a lot of opportunities in the next three years to continue to do good things for America. So are there still problems to conquer? Yeah, totally. Totally. But this was designed to be a victory lap. This was designed to look back and say, hey, we've done some really good stuff. There's a reason you voted for me, and I'm giving you more reasons to help me get this kind of stuff done in the future. Here he is talking about the big beautiful now law, cut three tax cuts.
B
We're also putting thousands of dollars in the pockets of hardworking Pennsylvanians with the largest tax cuts in American history. That's no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security for our great seniors. Our seniors. No tax.
A
Yeah, but huge thing. A huge thing. And so we get a situation where we get tax cuts across the board in the economy. And by the way, no matter who gets the tax cut, it redounds to the benefit of the whole country. So tax cuts, even at the highest levels, people make a lot more money. Companies that have those, all the. That obviously bring in a ton of revenue if they have to. If they don't have to spend all their money on taxes, that helps you and me as consumers. That's a huge deal. It means prices don't go up. Because what do people do when they get taxed? They pass off the costs. They pass off the costs to the consumers. These are basic economic principles. And the left likes to poo poo them. I don't. I happen to think that people with the least amount of means in this country should be able to afford a life in this country. That's my position. It might not be the left position. They don't want that. But I do. I do and so the big beautiful law is something to celebrate. The big beautiful law has a lot of things in it that the President didn't even acknowledge either. It's not just the tax cuts. It's also things like tax cuts on guns, tax cuts on silencers and short barrel rifles. Getting rid zeroing out the stupid tax stamps that are on those weapons and accessories, meaning that the government is no longer allowed to track those things. That registry could have the effect of completely going away. There's litigation on that right now, but it's a zero tax now. So how can you keep tracking the people who paid the tax? There is no tax to track. There's always a backdoor registry for tracking your purchases. President Trump got rid of that. That's an amazing win and worth celebrating. That's a huge thing. Also, he's hiring 10,000 new ICE agents and building border walls. He's got the border sealed up tight right now, even without those things added. That's a great story and one that he was telling last night as well in Pennsylvania to an audience that loved seeing him and he loved being back on the road. You could tell. And then he talked about one of the core reasons he was elected, which is get people out of this country who are not supposed to be here. And he said for the first time ever, we have a pattern going on that hasn't been seen before. We have something called reverse migration. Here's the President cut for watch.
B
For the first time in 50 years, we now have reverse migration, which means more jobs, better wages and higher income for American citizens. Not for illegal aliens.
A
And not for illegal aliens. Reverse migration, the numbers on, on illegals and foreign nationals generally getting out of the country in the vicinity of 3 million right now. And that's because we've had over 2 million self deportations from 800,000 forcible deportations from the country. And a lot more to come from Tom Homan, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and of course the President of the United States. They're sincere about this and their goal is to try and ramp that up as aggressively as possible to just get a lot of people out of the country. You heard the Vice President of the United States talking about it recently. You wanna bring housing costs down, get 20, 30 million people out of the country who are competing for that, that limited space. They're not supposed to be here, they're not supposed to be here. They were imported to be exploited. Let's get rid of them, let's get them out and let's right size. Our System. Let's bring those costs down. It's great. It's really great. So those, those are two of the big things I mentioned. You know, if there's a panacea to anything that fixing the country, it's deporting illegals, and it is bringing energy costs down. You do those two things, we are well on our way in the make America great again mission. That's a huge deal. The president also said that he's tired of all these people come into our country as refugees and then steal from us, namely Somalis in Minnesota, which we've been discussing this past week. Given the horrific scale of the fraud, nearly $8 billion by some estimates, stolen from taxpayers. Here's the president saying, we don't want you cut five.
B
Do we have any individuals from Somalia in the group? Please raise your hand. That's for Minnesota. You know, that's called the great big Minnesota scam with one of the dumbest governors ever in history.
I love this Ilan Omar, whatever the hell her name is with the little ching, the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch. She's always complaining.
She comes from a country where, I mean, it's considered about the worst country in the world, right? They have no military. They have no nothing. They have no parliament. They don't know what the hell the word parliament means. They have nothing. They have no police. They police themselves. They kill each other all the time. I love it. She comes to our country and she's always complaining about the constitution allows me to do this. We ought to get her to hell out. She married her brother in order to get in, right? She married her brother.
A
She did. She married her brother in order to get him in. That was the fraud scheme that they perpetrated. And she still sits in Congress and everyone acts like it's totally normal. How dare you say something about this. Now we're done with the how dare you's. We'll say exactly what's on our mind on that subject. And the president, he's really tapping into something super important here, you know, as we consider in the future. And by the way, I've said it before, I say it again, we should just lock down all legal immigration right now. We should just shut the door for now, get our house in order and then decide who we want to bring in and for what reason. How does it benefit us as a country? And if it benefits you, great. But fundamentally, a country that has an immigration system should do it on the basis of whether or not it helps Us that's, that's priority one in your immigration system. But the President points out a really important thing. Culture matters. Culture matters. If you're going to import people, why are you going to do it from Somalia? Somalia, where you have a people that have run their country into the ground and then you bring people into the United States. What do you think happens? I keep citing the New York Times piece. I want you to remember this because if this comes up in any of your conversations, this is a useful talking point for you to raise. Because it's true in the New York Times piece about Tim Walls and the Somalis who have stolen over, in their estimates, over a billion dollars from Minnesota. They consult a Somali American expert of Somali studies, and the expert says that stealing from the government is a feature of Somali culture. The expert says that in the New York Times piece. Okay, so we're just supposed to accept that, that we're being robbed blind? Hell no, we're not accepting that. But it's a reminder both from the Somali American expert and from the President of the United States that it is not forbidden. In fact, it's essential that you contemplate what kind of culture are we importing into the United States and are they assimilating with us? Are they signing on to the American mission or are they adhering to some sort of failing Somali mission? We know the answer to that question. And a lot of that money is going back to Somalia in the form of remittance payments and then ending up in the hands of Al Shabaab, which is a full blown terror organization.
So again, we're done being scolded for noticing reality. We're done. The President bringing up something super important. Here we don't want you, he says. Here he's a little more cut six, saying, you gonna do that to us? Get out.
B
If you don't share our values, contribute to our economy, and assimilate into our society that we don't want you in our country. We don't want you.
I mean, Elon Omar and the people from Somalia, they hate our country and they think we're stupid people, which actually, when they allow that to happen, they are. That's headed by Governor Waltz, one of the dumber people around.
Nobody's given. But think of it, he's given, not like peanuts, billions. These are people that don't work in their own country. Their own country is a failure. They have no money, and yet they come into our country and seal tens of billions of dollars. How stupid are we to allow that to happen? They can't earn 10 cents in their country. They come over here and. And Rob, are we that easy? Are we that easy to allow a thing like that to happen? That's up to you.
A
Yeah, no, he's, he's, he's right about that. God bless him for saying that. The night ended as all great Trump rallies do, with a little bit of ymca, the Trump dance. Take a look. Here he is.
Cut, cut.
B
Seven.
A
Oh, yeah.
He was great. Does he look fatigued? Look at him hit these moves. Ready? Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
It's funny, I was coming out of this Newsmax thing, I'm watching this on Newsmax, and Rob Finnerty's about to come to me and the great radio host Ben Ferguson. We're sitting there waiting to react, and I'm bopping along to the song. I'm like, man, I don't know. To this very day, I can see why they play this at weddings. You know, I know lefties probably gave up on playing it at weddings, but that's a wedding jam right there. The President plays it every time. Every time. That's the way he ends his rallies. He knows what works for him. And that's pretty funny. All right, a lot more ahead on the program. We've got a lot to get to today. And also Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna just moments away. Hey, you know, Christmas. Christmas used to mean something super simple, which is the birth of Christ. That's the simple thing that Christmas means the most important message. And it led to families gathering around the table and having real conversations. Hard work was rewarded with a little time to breathe. We didn't cut corners because we didn't believe in shortcuts. So there's the President of the United States. He's on the campaign trail. He's trying to whip up support for Republicans. He wants to grow his margins. He wants the Trump agenda to come through. But here's the thing that I've been focused on this week, and it's driving me absolutely crazy. Not just this week, for four weeks now, we need US Attorneys. We need US Attorneys to prosecute bad guys. The FBI keeps bringing out all this information, keeps going after these people. We do see some charges coming through. And then we get these radical judges who say, sorry, we can't do this. Your U.S. attorney is not authentic. It's not real. Lindsey Halligan's fake. And Anna and not anabolic. Excuse me.
Alina Haba is who I'm thinking of. Alina Haba is fake. They can't, they can't bring these prosecutions. Hold on. We need full Senate confirmed U.S. attorneys. We need to defeat the radical left and any sort of technicality that they're trying to rely on to get rid of these charges. And we got to see these charges brought all the way through. And so I was telling you yesterday that the two people that we really need to focus our public comments towards right now are in the United States Senate. One of them is Chuck Grassley. He's the guy who runs the Senate Judiciary Committee. The other is John Thune, who runs the whole Republican Party in the Senate. Those men can get rid of this disgraceful blue slip. The blue slip, the shortest possible summary, is merely allowing people like Adam Schiff Democrats to have a veto over any presidential nomination for U.S. attorney or federal judge in the state of California. And that applies to all these states where Democrats have Senate seats. They're just vetoing all the president's picks, like in Virginia or in New Jersey or in California. So this is infuriating to the President. He was raging about this on a hot mic earlier this week. And I've been raging about this for some time. I hate this. Republicans are in our way. And I just saw, speaking of hating things and raging and oh, my goodness, I just saw a video surfaced yesterday. This comes to us from the Daily Caller. Back in July.
A clip of Chuck Grassley Talking about how the President had just criticized him on social media about the Blue Slip program. Now, you and I know what the blue slips are, and we know that they're standing in our way. Chuck Grassley, at the time, in July, issued a very patronizing statement about us. It's like Americans have no idea what the blue slip is. Why is anybody even focused on this? I hate being insulted by the President. Here's Chuck Grassley in July, annoying me all these months later. Cut 8. Watch. The people in real America don't care about what the Blue Slip is, but in fact, it impacts in their states, the district judges who serve their communities, and the U.S. attorneys who ensure the law and order is enforced. I was offended by what the President said, and I'm disappointed that it would result in personal insults. That's insane and so deeply condescending, actually. And I say that it pains me to say that because I've said it before. I like Chuck Grassley. I think that he's contributed all sorts of really important positive things to the country. He's great with whistleblowers. I'm not gonna even pretend to diminish the things that he's done that are good. But that condescending attitude towards you and me. Americans don't even know what the Blue Slip is. They don't know how valuable it is and how it protects them. To hell with. What is it protecting? It's not protecting me. It's protecting criminals. It's protecting Comey and Letitia James and John Brennan. It's protecting people who have hurt our country and deserve to be held accountable for it. So stop selling it as some sort of great thing. For me, it's a total disaster. You know what I wanna do? I wanna prevent revolution. I wanna prevent an uprising by a people who've lost all confidence in their government. I want to prevent utter catastrophe. How do you do that? You need a coherent justice system that actually holds people accountable when they violate the law. And the citizenry need to believe that there are consequences for bad actors. And how do they come to that conclusion? You actually enforce the law. You arrest people, you prosecute them. You have real US attorneys standing by to do it. And then they can see it all the way through to sentencing. That's what we need. I don't need patronizing lectures. I don't need to be told that a shit sandwich is actually an edifying experience for me. No, that's not what I need at all. In fact, what I need is for Chuck Grassley and every other Republican to develop the testicular fortitude necessary to actually stand up for the American people in our moment of need. In fact, Chuck Grassley has been a part of the transparency initiatives to point out all of these crimes. Look at all these criminals. He keeps saying, okay, so what are you going to do about it?
Oh, but it's been a tradition, Vince. We had this gentleman's agreement. There's no gentleman on the other side of the aisle. They are going to stab us to death, if not metaphorically in real life. We just saw Charlie Kirk shot to death.
No more time for games. We have no time. We have no time whatsoever. The groundswell on this thing needs to be authentic, it needs to be aggressive, and it needs to be now. We need to earnestly, passionately invoke our First Amendment right to address our grievances with our government, to petition them, to convince them they've got to blow through this stupid so called tradition, the blue slips. Get U.S. attorneys and judges in place and let's get off to the races with holding people accountable. You want to see Donald Trump grow his margins next year? Deliver for the American people. And those low propensity voters who voted for Donald Trump because they want their country back, they will show up for you. It's a simple equation.
That's it. All right, in a moment, we'll be joined by the Congresswoman. Anna Paulina Luna will talk to her about what's going on in Congress and how it is that we can rein in the people who are not actually there for you, but in it for themselves. More in a moment. You know, the holidays are always full of surprises. And because of that, I want to share something that honestly has blown me away when it comes to religious freedom. I was shocked to learn what states rank low on First Liberty Institute's Religious Liberty in the state's index. My friends at First Liberty Institute, one of the nation's leading law firms protecting religious freedom, just released their index and it ranks all 50 states on how well each state protects your right to live out your faith. And the results, they're full of surprises. If you haven't heard of First Liberty, they're totally different. They've been on the front lines defending religious freedom for nearly 30 years. And here's the best part. When your faith comes under attack, they're often first in the fight. And they do it without ever sending their clients a bill. That's right. They don't charge a dime. With a win rate of over 90% of their cases, including a 90 record at the supreme court. They're committed to help protect your religious freedom, which is why I believe this state by state report so important. This Religious Liberty in the States index is a peer reviewed study. Joining us now, the congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is here. She's on the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee. She, she really does it all. So, Congresswoman, great to have you with us on the program today.
C
Hey, I am all about reforming to include banning insider trading. So I'm happy to get to it.
A
I can't. Well, I want to talk to you about that. Let me just ask you a core question about members of Congress right now. Are they aware that the midterms are coming? Do they know that we have the midterms this coming year?
C
Oh, most certainly. And that's why I coincidentally did not coincidentally, actually, why I timed the banning insider trading. Because if there's one Time to actually get it done. It's going to be now, especially on a midterm cycle. What member of Congress is going to be able to look their voters in the face and say, I did not help ban insider trading when 87% of Americans understand both, Democrat, Republican, Independent, how bad it is here in Washington? I'm telling you, and I hope you ask me more questions about that, because everything in this country, whether it is affordability, whether it is housing issues, whether it is foreign policy, is literally all tied. This is the crux of the issue. We need to stop it.
A
Well, yeah, in other words, like, if you have a vested interest in the companies in our country, you have corrupt intent when you make decisions about policy. How are you ever.
C
Yeah, how are you ever going to work on behalf of the American people if you're literally getting rich off of ensuring that, you know, your pocketbook comes first, you're getting access to information, for example, what policy is going to be passed and when, how it's going to be affecting the markets? We're meeting with CEOs, one in three members. Okay, like, let's just take one issue. President Trump's capping of prescription pricing. Right. He came in by executive order. He. He wanted to fix that issue. Well, we have to codify it so that the next administration, whoever it is, can't undo that.
D
Right.
C
We have a very small window opportunity to do that. One in three members are exposed to either BlackRock, Vanguard, or pharmaceuticals. When you have over $100 million invested personally from members of Congress into the pharmaceutical industry, do you really think they're going to make it a number one priority to cap prescription pricing? No, because those stocks are going to go down.
A
Yes. Okay, so here's a. Here's a core question. Do you think that members of Congress should be allowed to have any investments at all? Like, can. Can you be invested in, like, say, an index fund and be a member of Congress?
C
Well, yeah. So. Well, so what the legislation does is it strictly prohibits members of Congress, their spouses and dependent children from being able to directly trade those individual stocks. Now, if you want to have a mutual fund, fine, but you cannot engage in the individual stock trading because what we're finding is, on average, members on both sides are outperforming the S and p and getting 600% guaranteed returns on their investments. We can talk about. You got 17,000% on her initial return on her investment from the time that she initially started out in Congress, from the time that she left. But, I mean, members are coming in, they're serving 12 terms. They're getting out multimillionaires making, you know, millions, tens of millions of dollars sometimes. So it's insane.
A
So tell me, help me understand something, because every so often, you're not the first person who's brought this up, certainly. And this is the latest effort to ban this. And every time it comes up, everybody pretends like they're ready to ban it. Although Nancy Pelosi for a minute was like, we shouldn't ban this. And then people are like, are you serious? And then she was like, oh, yeah, no, we should totally ban it. We should. We should ban insider training in Congress. What. What's going on? I thought, I mean, I thought there were like a thousand efforts to ban insider trading. Why? Why haven't we.
C
Efforts. But no one wanted to put the legislation on the floor. So the reason why me, Tim Burchett, other members came together, said, we're going to do a discharge petition, is because actually on the back end, once we said that we were going to publicly do this, you know, then you had House leadership and specifically House Admin that said, fine, we'll do a hearing on this. So they did the hearing. They said that we couldn't gavel into the hearing, meaning we couldn't ask questions. They wanted to consolidate and control the narrative, to make it look like they were doing something when in actuality they're not doing anything. This should be the number one issue in Congress right now because it affects every single other aspect of what we deal with here in Washington, D.C. then, of course, they said, well, we're not going to take a consensus bill that y' all worked on that have over 100 members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, that have already signed onto it. Why? Because it makes insider trading impossible to do. It's very strict, specifically with the language written into that bill, and it forces divestments. Also, they said that we're going to do our own bill, but it will be a closed amendment process, meaning that we can't submit amendments to make it again rock solid to stop the insider trading. So Hakeem Jeffries actually was pressured on this by reporters. Even some left wing news outlets are saying, hey, no, like this needs to happen. Are you going to tell Democrats to sign onto the discharge petition? Because it wouldn't come to the floor any other way. And Hakeem as well, no, I don't want members to sign on because it doesn't include the executive branch. I'm sorry, the executive branch a has their own strict policies. And if Congress adhered to the executive branch standards, there would be no insider trading. So I said, fine, let's broker deal. We'll make the same standards in the executive branch. We'll make Congress reflect that. And of course, there's crickets on that because they don't actually want to fix this issue. So as of right now, I haven't gone down to the floor to see how many more names we have, but we had 16 members sign on to it, members that you wouldn't even expect. Like, you know, Elise Stefanik, who is formerly a member of House leadership. We've had Democrats sign on. Some of the wealthiest members of Congress on the Democrat side said, no, this is a problem. We know insider trading is taking place. We're willing to divest. But, like, let's get this across the line. And you're seeing actually potentially talking about even sending us home next week so that they can't sign on to it, which is crazy.
A
It is crazy. So are you aware of any member of Congress who, like, learned some sort of insider information, then instantly turned around and called his broker?
C
Look at, look at any, like, unusual whales. Like, look at any of these tracking websites. You can see who sits on the committees of jurisdiction when they've made the trades, and then when the legislation hits the floor, passes, and then they're making that 600% on average return on their investment. And then they'll sell. Like, it's literally insane. You can see specifically which members are on the committee of jurisdiction for this legislation. And so I'm trying to fix this issue. But again, you're seeing, you know, both parties, people, the American people. Look, The American people, 86% about, roughly, overwhelmingly support this. It doesn't matter what party you're part of. Okay? And then you think internally, there's a majority of members of Congress that understand that it's a problem. There was a Open Secrets obtained a letter of over 90 former members of Congress, both parties, that said, we need to fix this issue. It needs to be solved. And yet you're seeing leadership on both sides say, like, whoa, whoa, whoa, we can't actually do this because they understand that they're going to be in hot water with some of the members. So there's overwhelmingly support from the American people, overwhelming bipartisan opposition to it within the chamber. So we're kind of going to war within our own parties trying to get this across the finish line. But the point is, is that you have people that will publicly signal, oh, of course it's a problem, but they don't want to actually go down, put their name to the legislation.
A
Yes.
C
Then it makes it impossible to do.
A
And then, and then finally, like, oftentimes, like, definitely, certainly people on the right people are like, we need term limits for members of Congress. You want term limits? Here's a, here's a simple way to achieve that. Disincentivize corruption. If you stop people from getting off of that, being in the job.
C
Yeah, 100%. I'm right there for you. I mean, I'm about to do a term limit discharge petition, too, because that's another one. You have all these members signing on legislation saying they support term limits, but when they have the opportunity to actually ban the legislation or to bring to the floor, they're not going to do it. But I actually have to wrap up right now because I have another news hit, actually, where we're going on CNN to talk about it. But yeah, it's.
A
I know, I know. Yes. A smaller audience next. Okay. All right, Congresswoman, great to talk to you. Thanks so much for coming.
C
Thanks, bye.
A
All right, there she goes, Congresswoman Paulina Luna, off to CNN to talk to a couple of people. That was, that was nice of her to join us today.
But no, that's, that's a huge deal. That's, that's a huge deal. You know, because it really comes down to. It's the same thing in the Senate right now. This is what I've been talking about. It's like, why does this feel like you're not fighting for us at all? You got blue slips blocking US Attorneys from being in these jobs to prosecute people? Who's, what are you fighting for? What's the, what's the thing you're actually after? You ever get the feeling like some of these guys are far more interested in not being in the majority? Like, oh, crap, people think I can actually improve their lives now? I'd rather be in the minority. I'd rather theatrically complain about the state of the country, pretend to voters like, I care about this issue, but exploit the position I'm in in order to enrich myself. You kind of feel like that might be the game. Kind of feels like that might be the game. Why are only 16 people signed on to them? Did I hear Congresswoman Paulina Luna, right? Only 16 people are signed onto this thing. What? 435 members of Congress, 16 of them are on board that. Oh, man. That goes to show you the rot. Get on board, everybody. Ban this. Ban this. You're there to serve. You're not there to enrich, especially not through such duplicitous, underhanded, secretive means like, oh, I know something nobody else does. The reason insider trading is forbidden is because it's unfair. It's deeply unfair to use secret information on publicly traded investments. And yet that's what these guys do, and they try and get away with it. So, yeah, let's go after it. It does seem like a big deal. Yes. 16 out of 435. Marcus, you're right. It's so nuts. God, that's so disheartening, and it makes me so cynical to hear something like that. But. But she was great. That. That's. That's funny. Well, I hope. I hope whoever's watching CNN takes her seriously, too. That'd be. That'd be wonderful. All right, so they're driving us crazy. Hey, who's in North Carolina right now? Who's in the Tar Heel state? Anybody down there in North Carolina? We've got a problem. Charlotte, North Carolina, we've had multiple people attacked, stabbed, literally stabbed aboard the light rail system. And Charlotte Democrats just keep letting this happen. How is that? Well, they keep on the bad guys out. They keep letting the bad guys out. They. Yeah. Hello, North Carolina. Great state. I spent a lot of years in North Carolina. A lot of years. My dad's the United States Marine. We were in Camp Lejeune for. For a long time. We kept coming back, actually.
Great state. But, man, I feel bad for Charlotte, dude. I. I am so worried about what's happening there, because Democrats are running a great city into the ground. A great city. They're running it directly into the ground, and they keep letting the bad guys out, and that includes that. Remember, the man who stabbed Arena? Zaruska was released by a North Carolina magistrate judge called Teresa Stokes. And Decarlos Brown Jr. Is the name of the. The killer. And he's, like, very violent. Very violent. He just kept being released back into public. In fact, he was released following his arrest back in January of this year based merely on a quote, written promise. That was, according to the national news desk, a written promise that he would have returned to court of his own volition. That. Okay, well, then we weren't gonna hold you in pretrial confinement. You come back, right? You will come back. Oh, yeah, I promise. I even wrote it down. He wrote it down. And maybe he pinky sweared, too. We have no idea what kind of promises he was making to this judge. And so a very violent guy with a long rap sheet ends up getting released back out into the Public. And then he horrifically stabs that poor Arena Zaruska to death. One of the most outrageous events that you and I have had to see on video earlier this year. What a complete disaster. What a complete tragedy. And then we just got another one of these, another light rail stabbing that just happened a couple days ago. Now in North Carolina, they have something now named after Arena Zaruska. It's called Arena's Law. And Arena's Law is designed to make it so that idiot magistrate judges are not releasing violent criminals back out onto the streets once they're integrated into intake, into the court system. Hey, you've got a crime on your hands. We got to keep this person in custody because it's going to benefit the public. We can't have this violent person back out on the streets. This is common stuff, common sense stuff. So in North Carolina, they have Arenas law. That's great. They signed that into law in October. The effect of that has been to mandate that more of these bad guys are being held in custody. But not everybody's happy about this. In fact, the sheriff of Charlotte Mecklenburg is a guy called Gary McFadden. He's a Democrat, as you're about to hear. He's a Democrat and he is furious that he's got to keep an eye on more criminals now because of Arena's Law. Listen to a sheriff that clearly doesn't care about the well being of his own community.
Whining that the bad guys are being locked up. Cut nine.
D
Here's the sheriff behind the scenes. Thing that you did not see is that our magistrate were attacked violently, verbally, when I say violently, on social media. And they lived in fear for many days. And we took additional measures to protect them because of the violent nature of social media and parts of other media. And also just the violence that they received, just personally. And so they live in fear now. And I have to say that because for an entire day we had to talk to the magistrates on how to live safely, how to travel safely. And in the middle of all of that, they were concerned after the shooting of Charlie Kirk because they said to me, well, what if they shoot me because of this? And so they're going to be more cautious and reluctant to allow people to be responsible released. And we know that the law has now provided other guidelines for certain people not to be released. So it will increase our capacity here at the detention center.
A
And he's whining about this. He's whining that they've gotta look after all these people. We're Very stressed now. There's so many bad guys that we have to take care of. But did you hear what he said at the top of that? Did you hear the way he introduced that? Justin, I may ask you to play that again because it's so ridiculous. He goes, these magistrates, these, to be clear, government officials who keep releasing violent criminals back out on the streets. They're receiving violence, he said. And then he goes, and when I say violence, what I mean is social media posts. Wait, hold on a second. A social media post is not violence. A social media post is speech. It's a social media post. It's written expression. It's just somebody registering their anger. Look, if they actually signal a threat, a violent threat of some kind, then handle it like you're supposed to. But that's not an act of violence. It's a threat. It's speech is what he's talking about. And so he turned an event where you got people being stabbed to death on the light rail system, where these violent criminals shouldn't even be on the streets. But for the fact that being released by out of control lunatic government officials. And the real victim in this story is apparently the government officials who released the bad guys. And the villain are the people who noticed it and criticized those government officials. Am I hearing that correctly? Justin, play the top of that again. Just the first few seconds of it.
D
Behind the scenes thing that you did not see is that our magistrate were attacked violently. Verbally. When I say violently on social media. And they lived in fear for many days.
A
Okay.
D
And we took.
A
When I say violently, I mean on social media. That's insane. It doesn't even. That is such Orwellian horse crap. It's, it's, it beggars belief. It's out of control.
How about lock the criminals up? How about stop bitching about it? How about stop being the sheriff? How do we end up with that? We got a lot of good sheriffs across the country. That guy is awful. That guy's a sheriff, by the way, as opposed to a police chief. A sheriff is an elected position and you know, you run for office with party affiliation in many cases. That guy's a Democrat. And I didn't even really need to tell you his party affiliation. You could tell he was a Democrat based on the attitude he's taking, which is, I'm on the side of the criminals, man. It's really inconvenient that I have to watch them and stop criticizing government officials who release bad guys back onto the streets. Yeah, you're a Democrat. Get out. You know, how is it that our, our fundamental view of this country could be so astronomically different, such polar opposites from one another? You would think a sheriff of all people would know that the job is to protect the community. Instead, he's like, clearly just making it less safe. So Charlotte Mecklenburg, you've got, you got a huge mess to clean up there. That includes getting rid of an idiot sheriff, getting rid of people who are not just wish you harm, but are doing you harm, and righting the ship there. That, that would be, that would be really good. But that, that's insane to me. That's insane. And so we get violent attacks and a problem in Charlotte. And the other piece in Charlotte, remember, the Trump administration is trying to deport illegals. There's a lot of illegals in Charlotte. And yeah, you're right. It's called demons. It says Data Martian. Data Martian. Write about that. We're in a spiritual war. Spiritual war. People are having their judgment overtaken by the demons. But going on in Charlotte, we've been trying to get illegals out of the region. And the way to do it has been through something called Operation Charlotte's Web, where the Trump administration has deployed immigration enforcement to the city, trying to get everybody into custody. And what did the media do with that? Did they root it on? Did they congratulate the Trump administration? Did they say, hey, this is what people voted for? No, they scandalized it. They turned it into like, these were Nazi roundup operations. This is horrible. ICE agents are horrible. Nevermind the fact that ICE agents are being shot at and assaulted at record levels. The media rooted against it. They rooted against that course correction, which, by the way, is another expression of that demonic influence. It's just terrible stuff. How could you take this side? And the leadership in Charlotte Mecklenburg has decided, we're not going to help the feds. We're not going to give them anything. We're not going to assist them. We're going to be a sanctuary. We're going to tell them to pound sand. We're going to try as best we can to obstruct them. We're going to be like J.B. pritzker saying, you're not allowed to have operations here on public property. No. You're not allowed to enforce the law. I'm sorry, what? The feds can't enforce the law on public property. Do you hear how crazy that sounds? How, by the way, unconstitutional that is. The federal government, of course, can enforce the law on public property.
We're reaching dangerous levels and we're way past dangerous. We're already there. People are dying as a result of all of this. But this goes to another point, which is the Second Amendment. Strap up, ladies and gentlemen. Who's going to defend you if the sheriff of your community is releasing bad guys on the streets and encouraging other officials to do that? He's not there to defend you. We like to say, you know, when seconds account, when seconds count, the police are minutes away. In this case, when seconds count, you're your only defense with a sheriff like that.
So, you know, exercise your Second Amendment right. Own a gun, know how to use it, be. Be trained up on it, because that sheriff's not coming to rescue you. That's not happening. Unreal. That's what's happening. And then one more for demonic inflow. Speaking of demonic inflows, this one's crazy. America's dumbest congressman. There's a huge competition for this. We talked quite a bit this week about Jasmine Crockett. President Trump says she's a very low IQ person. Very low iq. But in fairness to her, she might not be the dumbest.
Traditionally, the dumbest congressman has been someone called Hank Johnson. Hank Johnson is a man so dumb that he believes if the troops all stand on one side of the island of Guam, that it is at risk of capsizing. As if Guam is literally floating in the ocean like a thin sheet of plastic, and if you shift your weight too much, the island will flip over. The man's an idiot, but he's still a member of Congress somehow. And this week, he was on with a guy who looks like Jim Acosta, and the two of them were chatting, and Hank Johnson used an expression that. About America that you only ever hear from people who literally hate America. Literally hate America. Like, in other words, like the Iranian regime.
That's the language he's using. Here's Hank Johnson, one of America's dumbest congressmen, slandering our great nation. Listen. Yeah. We are the world's number one bully. And we're using our immense unrivaled power to.
Rule over.
Those who have less power. And we're doing it with impunity. And this sends a shocking message to the world that America is indeed the. What did. What did they used to call the Great Hand of Satan or something like that? I mean, America under the Trump regime is demonstrating that that moniker was. Was entirely accurate. The Great Satan. That's what we have become in this country.
That is so. Was evil, for one, but it's so stupid. It is so unbelievably. Stupid. Has the United States engaged in interfering in the affairs of foreign countries at the expense of those countries and the American people? In the past? Yes.
Is the United States the Great Satan? No. In fact, the United States is a great country blessed by God, and you would do well to remember that. But to attack the Trump administration as you're the Great Satan. You're, You're. That's the hand of Satan being involved. I'm sorry, what administration.
Was responsible for trying to advance transgender insanity on other countries? Children? What administrations have been responsible for orchestrating regime change operations around the planet? What administrations have been involved in stoking up brand new wars all across the planet that don't in any way benefit the American people? Well, members of both parties, but definitely Democrats and definitely the Biden administration.
Things became way more disorderly, way more chaotic. And by the way, chaos and disorder are the tools of Satan.
President Trump is trying to restore order. Order, which is an eternally heavenly principle. Order. God is order. God is love. President Trump is trying to restore those things. He's orchestrating peace deals. We've gotten to the point where, like practically countless now, the number of peace deals that he's inked between warring countries, trying to simmer down, to resolve, to cool down their tensions. He's working this very week to do that between Russia and Ukraine. So this idea that somehow President Trump has been a tool of disorder is an inversion of the truth, which is, by the way, another weapon of Satan. To basically take something true, to turn it on its head, and then to weaponize you against it, to attack the true thing as something that's, that's false or fake.
This is why you want to talk about Satan. He's attacking the very idea that there is a God at all. This is what happens when politicians, especially on the left, convince themselves that we are God. We can control the weather. No, you can't. We have a God and he created us. And you would do well to remember that.
A tool of Satan is to attack American families and tell them they shouldn't be dependent on one another, instead they should be dependent on the government. Or to say that children should keep secrets from their parents in that the government schools know better than the parents about the upbringing of their child.
Or satanic attacks on fundamentals like your biology, that men exist or that women exist, you know, foundational truths that we find in the book of Genesis, literally at the beginning of the Bible. Full blown attacks on that.
Or the idea that the goal of life is somehow your comfort, including by injecting things into your body, becoming addicted to drugs, dulling your senses, robbing yourself of the blessings that God has given you, and not living up to your extraordinary God given potential. This is what the left has been preaching.
So Hank Johnson, as buffoonish as he is, is really representing a demonic impulse which is to tell you that good things are bad and that the bad things are what's best for you. We're not falling for it. We're not falling for it. Utterly contemptible. To hear such a awful, awful statement about the President of the United States from any member of Congress, from any party. And being dumb is not an excuse. We'll call you out for it because you deserve it. Coming up today, the big national radio show. I've got the Vince show, the Vince show dot com. Religious/Theological Analysis
This episode of VINCE sees Vince Coglianese leveraging Trump's Pennsylvania campaign event as a springboard to critique liberal and establishment opponents, highlight Republican legislative wins (with a focus on energy, jobs, and security), and sound alarms about internal GOP gridlock and congressional corruption. His exchange with Rep. Luna brings the problem of insider trading into sharp relief, exposing bipartisan resistance to reform. The show’s style is combative, direct, and inflected with religious and populist commentary, aiming to energize conservative audiences as the midterms approach.
