So I know a lot of people who are in our live chat right now and also anybody who listens to the podcast may very well have been watching last night on Nightly scroll as Haley Carinea welcomed a special guest, Dan Bongino to her program and they had a great conversation. If you haven't checked that out, you should go check it out. Rumble.com Haley H A Y L E Y and you can see what the two of them chatted about. And Dan was Great, Dan. It was nice to see him back in front of a microphone, getting a lot off of his chest, including just some of the beginnings of his public commentary. Again, in the wake of the FBI. He mentioned with some obvious gravity that he really has never had a chance to publicly comment on the death of Charlie Kirk. And it's affected him greatly. And he intends when he returns to his podcast, to talk at some length about that subject, as expected. And I'm looking forward to seeing what Dan has to say about that. We were also affected by Charlie, but I know that Dan was very close to him and I want to see his commentary on the subject. And he talked a little bit about his time in the FBI and what he encountered and what it was like. And it was really neat. It was a very neat thing to see. And if you thought to yourself at the conclusion of it like I did, man, I'd like to hear more. Well, Dan has some very good news for you. He's coming back. He'll be doing his show again. The Dan Bongino show is returning. And in fact, rather than me tell you about it, let me have Dan tell you about it. Here's what he said when he was talking to Haley last night.
B
So the show is definitely coming back when? Early February. We will release the date. Yes. Thank you, guys. In the chat, we will put out a press release with Westwood One and rumble this coming Monday. So just a few days from now, which will provide the date. It's gonna be early February and we're gonna be ready to roll that first show. Usually we would put together the show night before morning of. You know, it's like at Fox as that first show. I got a lot of stuff.
A
I.
B
It's on my phone, folks, weeks ahead of time. I took so many notes. I mean, obviously I can't talk about classified stuff, you know, that kind of thing, but there's a lot of stuff we can talk about and provide context and color and, you know, crush a lot of the black pill bullshit out there. You know, nothing's happening. All this stuff, so. Yeah, exactly. I went there to jerk around for a minute. It's so luxurious in Washington D.C. so there's a lot of stuff to talk about that I think is going to open a lot of eyes and a lot of ignoramuses are going to get shot down. Will be two hours now, though. So two hours live, 10 to 12, 10am to 12 noon, obviously, and we are ready to roll. I mean, I've got so much content.
A
Bottled up in my head 10am to 12 noon. A two hour show starting, as he pointed out, in early February. More details coming on all of that on Monday. This coming Monday, as he pointed out, there's going to be a press release that includes. What did he say, Justin? Was it, was it Silverlock and Westwood One? They're gonna be releasing a press release. That's the point. Oh, and Rumble. Rumble and Westwood One. So we'll get a press release on Monday. It'll give us more details on how exactly this all goes down. I've already been getting obviously a ton of questions. And I was in the chat last night, I was writing. But wait, as the show was ending, I was like, but wait, what happens to Vince? I was asking in reality, of course, I know what the answer to that question is. I will give you more detail once Dan rolls out, everything, everything will become crystal clear. But in case you're wondering, am I going anywhere? I'm gonna give you a resounding answer. No, I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going anywhere. We will give you more details on that. You did hear Dan mention Westwood One. And if you've been following the radio industry for a while, you'll know of Westwood One as a national synd syndicator of radio shows. Westwood One syndicates my big national radio show from 12 to 3 Eastern each day. Again, as I've been telling everybody, that's not going anywhere that continues. So in addition, well, should I give away too much? Maybe I should give away too much. In addition to this podcast, which you'll continue to be able to hear, yes, the big national radio show continues. I'll be there in that same position going forward. It's been an absolute blast to do all of this and that big radio show is gonna continue. Uh, so we'll give you more details as they arrive. But here's the big story. It's Dan. Dan is coming back. He's doing his big show. He's going to do it. Not for one hour now, for two hours each weekday from 10am until noon Eastern time each weekday. Assuredly you're going to be able to see that on Rumble and get the big podcast. So eager for that. And don't you worry, if, if, if, if you like what I've been doing here with the team, we've got good news for you and we'll share it as it develops in the days and weeks ahead. It'll probably be really soon actually, that we can share everything with you, but it's coming, don't worry. All Right? Yes. Yes. Yeah. I'm not fucking leaving. Says voodoo zombie. Yes, that's right. Thanks, guys. All right, so let's get to the news of the day. Speaking of that big national radio show, there I am. Yesterday we're on the air and we begin getting the early indicators that something very dramatic has happened in Minneapolis. Again. Why is it always Minneapolis? Why do we always have all this chaos in Minneapolis? Why can't the left just behave themselves? Why are they whipping everybody into a frenzy? It's a nonstop insurrection in that city. And here we go again. We get an announcement yesterday that there was an ICE involved shooting in Minneapolis. And at that point there's very little for us to know. ICE involved. What does that mean, ICE involved? And I knew instinctively as soon as I heard that it meant one of two things. One of two things, right. Either somebody opened fire on an ICE agent or an ICE agent opened fire in defense of life and limb. That they had to, they had to discharge their service weapon because something very dramatic and deadly was going down. It's one of those two scenarios. You know it and I know it. And sure enough, yesterday, when we finally got details, what we learned is that some left wing lunatic decided to drive her car directly towards an ICE agent, striking him. He pulls his service weapon, he fires through the front window of the vehicle, killing her. I'm sorry, if you don't want to die in that scenario, don't drive your car into an ICE agent. And for that matter, there's a whole bunch of other things she should have done or should not have done leading up to the moment that she was killed as a result of her own actions. We'll get into that in a moment. But before we even knew any of those details, the Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Fry, yesterday, an absolute scumbag left winger, instantly, without knowing anything, not seeing any video, he came out and he exploited the fact that there was a, quote, ICE involved shooting and used it to demonize ICE yet again. Here's Mayor Jacob Fry. In a tweet yesterday, 11:54am, before any videos even seen by the public, he said the following. I'm aware of a shooting involving an ICE agent at 34th street in Portland. The presence of federal Immigration enforcement agents is causing chaos in our city. We're demanding ICE to leave the city immediately. We stand rock solid with our immigrant and refugee communities. Now, I want just think about how stupid this is and how callous and awful this is. We stand rock solid with our immigrant and refugee communities, fella. ICE is there to get illegals out of our country. This has nothing to do with immigrant communities or refugee communities or anything. It has everything to do with cleaning up America from people who've invaded it. One, two. You demonize ICE right away. You demonize ice. When anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows that if there's an ICE involved shooting, it is very likely because ICE was in the right and not in the wrong. You're blaming the law enforcement right away. What kind of mayor is this? What do the cops in Minneapolis think about all this? That he instantly takes the side against law enforcement that's trying to. What is the word again? Enforce the law? Jacob Fry did that immediately. This guy is an insurrectionist. And I'm gonna get back to this a whole bunch as we talk about these Democrats. But what you're witnessing right now from Democrats in Minneapolis, in Minnesota, certainly at the national level, is a full blown, never ending insurrection against the American people, against law and order, against the federal government. In fact, it's sort of a long term feature of the Democrat party. They constantly wage insurrections against the American people. And this is the latest iteration of it. So that's Jacob Fry yesterday. Well, what does the tape show us? Well, because this is America in 2026. A million people have cell phone cameras and they were capturing all of this. Here's what the tape shows us, and we'll get into all of the details about what led up to this moment in a moment. But here, yesterday, midday, a woman blocking traffic with her Honda Pilot SUV trying to stop ICE from advancing in its law enforcement duties. And you'll watch now as ICE agents are approaching her vehicle and tell her to get out of it. And rather than comply, she drives directly into an ICE officer who opens fire. Watch. No, no. Shame. Shame. Oh, my God. What the. What the. The vehicle crashes right after she shot.
C
Get the.
A
Out of our neighbor. People screaming at ice. There's another angle. Okay, so this is a really important video, especially that first clip that I showed you. It is very, very important that we go over some of the details. What was happening here? Well, this woman was menacing ICE all day, leading groups of left wing activists to try and block them from conducting their official duties. We're already dealing with crimes here as they're obstructing law enforcement. And then she perpendicularly parks her SUV in the middle of the road to try and stop the ICE convoy. And they tell her to move her vehicle. She refuses to do it. Then they get out of their cars and approach her window. And then they tell her to get out of the car. Get out of the car. You hear at least three times that they tell her to get out of the vehicle. She refuses. Instead, she throws the vehicle first into reverse and then throws it forward. Now, is she intentionally trying to strike the officer who's standing in front of her? Is she trying to flee? It's irrelevant, actually, because there is an officer standing in front of her car. And you will see in the slow mo video I'm about to show you that the officer who's standing in front of the vehicle does not draw his weapon at all. He's not intending on shooting this woman. He's not thinking of her as a physical threat up until the moment she begins accelerating the car forward towards him. And it's at that moment where he sees a car coming in his direction, just inches away, accelerating towards him, that he draws his service weapon and fires directly through the front window. Not the side window, the front window. Meaning he was standing in front of that vehicle. Watch the slow mo here. I want to show you some of this slow mo. Take a look at this. This is. This is the car backing up the officer trying to get her out. Then she accelerates forward. Service weapon drawn by the officer in the front. He fires through the front window. Everything here, you talk to law enforcement. I've been talking to law enforcement. This guy did his job correctly. There is no dispute that he was standing in front of that car. She was accelerating towards him. He doesn't draw his weapon until that's beginning. And he stops her. He stops that threat, and he has to make that judgment call in a fraction of a second. Additionally, there's another angle. The officer was struck by the vehicle. He was clearly, as she begins accelerating forward, at the very least pushed by the vehicle. Take a look at this. It's going to be a little grainier for those of you watching the video podcast here, because this is a close up. We're going to close. We're going to close up on the pixels here, but you will see the silhouette of his body shoved forward by the cop car. Take a look at this. That's the beginning. That's a quick clip. We slow it down now and you can see this thing. Let's take a look, fellas, as this guy gets shoved by the suv and then he ends up opening fire as he's being hit by the car. There we go. Look, there he is. That's exactly right. Show that again as this SUV shoves the cop forward. There she goes. She hits him. He opens fire. All right, so what do we got? We got a cop standing in front of the car. We have a woman accelerating towards him. He doesn't draw his service weapon until the acceleration begins. He fires through the front window. He's hit by the vehicle again. What is the evidence here? Well, it's abundant. It is over the top abundant that the cop did the right things, and yet that's not the way the left is reacting to this at all. I'll get to the reaction in a moment, but Kristi Noem gave us more detail yesterday. Here's the DHS secretary explaining exactly what went down. Cut four, Kristi Noem Watch.
D
Because of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow, one of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow. Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle. And when a mob of agitators that were harassing them all day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding law enforcement operations, ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle of the individual in question, who was blocking the officers in with her vehicle. And she had been stalking and impeding their work all throughout the day. ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the car and to stop instructing obstructing law enforcement, but she refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle and attempted to run a law enforcement officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism. The ICE officer, fearing for his life and the other officers around him and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his own life and that of his colleagues.
A
What more do we need to know about this? I mean, we can see it as all the video evidence is there. You hear there from the DHS secretary. Is it sad? Yeah, it's completely tragic. It's completely tragic that something like this even happened. But that woman made a series of decisions that led to her life ending. She's the one who decided to menace the police and impede them. She's the one who decided to ignore their orders to get out of the road. She's the one who decided to ignore their orders to get out of the car. And she's the one who decided to accelerate directly into an ICE officer. And now she's dead as a consequence of all of those actions. If she had changed her mind and done the right thing at any point in that sequence of events, she would be alive today. That's just true. So what led her to this state of mind? How did she arrive at the Point that she thought driving through an ICE officer was the appropriate course of action. Well, you can thank leaders on the left for that. I'll tell you how they're reacting to all of this. In a moment we'll go through it because they are staging an insurrection in our country and they are whipping the populace into a frenzy. It's demonic. And I've got the details ahead on this edition of Vince. Hey, you know, winter hits and suddenly you'll be spending so much more time indoors, especially in the bedroom. And honestly, staying comfortable is everything. This is why I'm so glad I switched to a Helix mattress. Before Helix, my nights were a little rough. You know, my back pain worse, my night sweats bad, and every time Allison moved, I felt it. But Helix fixed all of that. You see, we took their sleep quiz and it matched us up perfectly with the mattress that I now love. And man, I sleep so much better now. No guessing, no stress. My sleep has been incredible. Thanks to Helix, a good night's rest really does set you up for a great day. Helix is award winning, it ships free in the US and they give you a 120 night sleep trial plus a lifetime warranty. So look, if you're not happy, their happy with Helix guarantee makes returns so easy. And Helix has a great offer for you. Just go to helixsleep.com Vince get 27% off site wide. That's helixsleep.com Vince and you'll get 27% off site wide. Make sure that you enter our show's name after checkout so they do know that we sent you again. Helixsleep.com Vince Love Helix. That's right, keep still. Alison. Stop ruining my sleep. Thank you. All right. No, we don't have to worry about that anymore. Helix is great. Okay, so terrible event. Terrible event. And judging based on the woman's behavior, it looked like she thought she didn't have to follow the law. She could just do whatever she wanted. And the cops told her to get out of the car. She's like, I'm going to drive away. And she tried to drive directly through an ICE officer. Now she's dead. And by the way, she's a 37 year old lefty. This might not come as a surprise to you. She's a 37 year old lefty. She's got pronouns in her bio. Her wife was standing outside, in fact captured one of the videos of all of this going down, which suggests, of course, they were doing this in order to try and get some sort of social media attention. In order to demonize ice, in order to treat them as Nazi brown shirts, to suggest that they were doing something unethical. When, of course, it's the people who are stopping ICE from doing their jobs who are engaged in horrific behavior. And these. So I played for you. I've showed you a clip from Jacob Fry earlier. I showed you his tweet where before he knew anything, he was demonizing ice. He continued that yesterday when he took to the microphone. Here he is, cut five. Attacking ICE who were just attacked. There's little I can say again that'll.
E
Make this situation better.
B
But I do have a message for.
A
Our community, for a city, and I.
B
Have a message for ICE to ice.
A
Get the fuck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of.
B
Safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite.
A
People are being hurt. Families are being ripped apart. Long term, Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized. And now somebody is dead. That's on you. Okay? So the wayfish loser who runs Minneapolis is telling ICE to get the fuck out of the city. That's. That's his language. And apparently he went on CNN last night, he's like, oh, don't be scandalized by that. You know, that kind of thing. You know something? You're the one who needs to get out of that city. You're the one who should be behind bars. You're the one who's trying to whip up a full blown violent insurrection. Now, if you're the mayor of a city, let me just ask a core question. A core question. It doesn't matter what your politics are, and something dramatic has just happened. And you know that a fuse can be lit based on the way you respond to it. What are you called to do? You're called to bring the temperature down. You're called to settle things out. Let's pretend for a moment that the ICE agent had done something wrong. Mayor Frye's obligation is to try and calm the community, to get the authorities involved and say justice will prevail. That's his obligation. That's not what he did. He didn't rise to the occasion. He stooped to the lowest possible form of commentary, and he's whipping people into a frenzy. How did that help Minneapolis? It didn't. Minneapolis instantly went to rioting last night. That rioting has continued. This morning as we are speaking, ICE officers are still being engaged in shoving matches with left wing lunatics who think that they've got some sort of sacred mission to attack ice. That's because of people like Mayor Jacob Fry who got up there and demonized the men and women of law enforcement. And this is, you know, you wonder, like, what do the cops in Minneapolis think about all this? The guys who actually work in Minnesota, are they cool with this? Are they okay with this? And it looked like some of the guys who were wearing badges were standing near Jacob Frye. They seem to be doing go along to get along in all of this. But this is not the way that Minnesota police feel about this. The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers association released a statement last night condemning these Democrats who continue to inflame this violence. Here's the statement. Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association Interim Executive Director David Titus saying, the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers association stands firmly behind law enforcement, officers accountability under the law and the safety of every Minnesota community. Irresponsible, reckless rhetoric from political leaders attacking law enforcement has real and dangerous consequences for officers on the street. When officers are vilified, demonized, or used as political props, it fuels hostility, emboldens bad actors and puts lives at risk. This agency called on leaders to stop the inflammatory language and respect the legal and investigative process. And they're right. Good for the Minnesota Police association for simply stating the truth. But Jacob Frye is not the only one who's playing this stupid game. Tampon. Tim Walls instantly starts blaming the Trump administration for the violence of left wing radicals that are acting at his behest. Democrats like Tim Walz have spent the last week at least, and for that matter the entire Trump administration, demonizing ice. ICE has ramped up its enforcement in Minnesota, and rightfully so. They've sent 2,000 agents in recently. But Democrats have spent every waking moment attacking them as Nazis and the Gestapo for being there. Here's Tim Walls yesterday blaming Trump for the actions of a radical left wing woman who was misled by Tim Walls.
F
We've been warning for weeks that the Trump administration's dangerous, sensationalized operations are a threat to our public safety, that someone was going to get hurt. Just yesterday I said exactly that. What we're seeing is the consequences of governance designed to generate fear, headlines and conflict. It's governing by reality tv. And today that recklessness cost someone their life. I've reached out to Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and I'm waiting to hear back. Donald Trump and his administration may not care much about Minnesota. That's been pretty evident. But we love this state. We won't let them tear Us apart. We'll not turn against each other. To Minnesotans, I say this, I feel your anger. I'm angry. They want to show we can't give it to them.
A
You know, everything that comes out of that guy's mouth is a lie. This idea that somehow it's the Trump administration that made things unsafe. No, it was you. It's you. By lying to the populace. I don't know how many Democrats you know in your life or maybe you're connected to them via social media or perhaps you just see the social media commentary. Do you know how many just average Democrat voting Americans right now think that ICE is composed of Nazis? Have you seen any of this? Who truly believe that ICE agents are doing something menacing, unlawful, unconstitutional and evil, as if they're just driving around the streets of America rounding up American citizens and deporting us from our own country? It's vile. And it's led to an 1800% increase in assaults on ICE agents in our country. We've seen assassination attempts repeatedly on ICE agents and Border Patrol agents. We've seen massive percentage increases. I think it's 8,000% increases in death threats against the men and women of federal law enforcement. And that's because of people like Tim Walls. That's because Democrat leaders are irresponsibly fomenting insurrection and they are grooming their voters into believing that the people who are on the side of decency are actually the evildoers. Then that's how you end up with a woman parked in the middle of the street trying to obstruct ICE and then trying to run an ICE officer over is because Tim Walls filled a weak minded woman with that thought and now he's trying to pass the blame for what he did. It is disgusting. And it's my opinion that it is far past time for President Trump to actually invoke the Insurrection act to bring peace to America's cities. The President has this tool at his disposal and he's often talked about it, in fact, that I can do this. I have this available to me. And he should. In fact, invoking the Insurrection act has been a feature in American history almost entirely in the face of recalcitrant Democrat governors. People like Arkansas's Orval Faubus or Alabama's George Wallace. Over and over and over again, Democrats were who refuse to treat people decently, to abide by the law, to respect the people of the United States and the Constitution have had to be stopped by the use of the Insurrection Act. 1943. You get the Detroit race riot. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt has to go in there. That's a Democrat governor at the time. 1957, Little Rock integration crisis. President Dwight Eisenhower has to invoke the Insurrection Act. 1962, at Ole Miss, John F. Kennedy has to invoke the Insurrection Act. 1963, again in Alabama, John F. Kennedy has to invoke the Insurrection act to stop people who were trying to prevent integration. Selma to Montgomery march in 1965, President LBJ invokes the Insurrection Act. In Detroit in 1967, the long, hot summer riot. You get LBJ once again invoking the Insurrection Act. 1968, he does it again in the wake of Martin Luther King's assassination. Riots in our country. Ronald Reagan does it in 1987 in Georgia during an Atlanta prison riot. And in 1992, George H.W. bush invoked the Insurrection act in the wake of the LA riots. In the midst of the LA riots, what are we witnessing now? We're witnessing mob rule that's spurred upon by governors who. Who want it to happen and refuse to stop it. So what are we gonna do about it? The President's got options. Let's see if he uses them. Tim Walls claims that he's terrified that President Trump is gonna use the Insurrection act. And he even knows that his base is violent. Here he is cut 8, saying this yesterday.
F
Minnesotans, don't take the bait. Do not take the bait. Do not allow them to deploy federal troops into here. Do not allow them to invoke the Insurrection Act. Do not allow them to martial law. Do not allow them to lie about the security and the decency of this state. And let's let this investigation play itself out. Let's make sure we protect our neighbors. I encourage you to use your First Amendment rights and all of your constitutional rights, but do so in a peaceful manner.
A
So he knows, you see, he knows how violent his base is. So rather than calm down their passions, rather than tell them the truth, rather than stand with law enforcement, Tim Walls instead spreads the lie and then crosses his fingers that maybe violence won't happen because it could be a predicate to the Insurrection Act. He is an absolute dumpster fire. This guy is garbage. He's utter garbage. And yet he's the governor of that state, and that's why that state's in complete disarray. I've got more on that subject coming up. We'll talk about that, but Julie Kelly is just moments away. I have to chat with her as well, get her reaction to everything that's going on. Happy New Year to you. Let me just get your reaction first and foremost to what we just saw yesterday in Minneapolis and the way the Democrats, rather than calm things down, are trying to stoke to a greater extent the ongoing insurrection at the hands of the American left.
C
It's just stunning, the reversal within a 24 hour period, Vince, you had Democrats spending the entire Day on January 6, on Tuesday, holding hearings, talking about domestic terrorists who were J6ers, most of whom almost nearly all of them peacefully protesting at the Capitol, entering a public building on a Wednesday afternoon, nonetheless hunted down BY THE Biden, DOJ and FBI, more than at least 1600 arrested and charged before, of course, the president took office. You had a candlelight vigil held by Democratic leaders on the steps of the Capitol Tuesday night promoting the lie that police officers were killed as a result of January 6th. We already know that that's one of the biggest lies. And then less than 24 hours later, they are defending a woman, an obviously deranged woman who tried to use her suv, appears to have out of state plates, darkened windows, is leading an effort to obstruct an ICE operation, then uses her car to drive into a federal officer who then shoots and kills her. Now, the Democrats call that a murder. Of course, since that didn't apply to Ashley Babbitt, she wasn't murdered. Sheep. That was justified according to Democrats. And now, yes, to your point, stoking more potential violence, endangering the lives of ICE officers and others involved in the removal of illegal aliens from our country. None of this makes sense except the Democrats have nothing else to run on and they continue to escalate this very dangerous political climate in our country.
A
So you mentioned Ashley Babbitt and Ashley Babbitt had no weapon in her hands. Correct. When she was inside the Capitol building And gunned down by Michael Byrd, the woman who was driving that vehicle yesterday, she drove it directly into an ICE officer. And I think you would agree driving a vehicle, a vehicle is a deadly weapon when used in that way. Correct?
C
Correct.
A
Okay. So one of the headlines I'm seeing today, I'm seeing a lot of is that ICE killed an unarmed woman, Julie. Yesterday. They're claiming that an unarmed woman was just killed by a federal immigration officer. That's designed to both, I think, lie to the audience and to prejudice their judgments towards what just took place.
C
Correct. I mean, of course, an SUV of that nature, any vehicle is a potential deadly weapon. So how can you call her unarmed? I mean, most Americans who saw that video, who hear Democrats and others in the media saying that she was unarmed, this innocent 37 year old woman who's a mother of three. Well then why are you endangering your life, the life of your children, the well being of your children to interfere in this ICE operation?
A
Yes.
C
So, yes, Ashley Babbitt, 5 foot 2, tiny little thing, climbing or attempting to go through a window because a mob was behind her. Executed at near point blank range by Michael Byrd. And then remember, Vince, as the doxing of this ICE agent continues in his, his face is flashed all over social media. Michael Byrd was allowed to hide out for months at the expense of taxpayers and allowed him to hide his identity and take responsibility for what he did.
A
Yeah, Michael Byrd, wasn't he give some sort of like congressional commendation or something too? I mean like they, the Democrats. Yeah, Democrats treated him like he was a hero. And meanwhile they're demonizing this ICE agent, Mayor Jacob Fry of Minneapolis. Yesterday, before we saw any evidence of anything, said that ICE needed to get out of Minneapolis. It was ice's fault. He knew nothing about it and he said it was ice's fault. And then he saw the video and then he would subsequently say that ICE needs to get the F out of Minnesota, which the scumbag Jimmy Kimmel then promoted last night on his little watched television show. And then the governor of the state, Tim Walls is blaming Donald Trump for the actions of violent radical left wing agitators. They seem pretty wedded to the insurrection. Julie, what can we do about this?
C
I mean, Tim Walls said that basically his state was at war with the federal government. I mean these sort of comments cannot go without consequence by this DOJ and the Department of Homeland Security. I posted this yesterday, Vince. The Biden DOJ and its lawfare against the President and against J6ers created new case law for Statutes like seditious conspiracy, which two dozen J6ers, members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, who are former veterans, who are veterans and former police officers, and in some instances helped police on January 6, didn't try to run them over, tried to help them, nonetheless, charged with this Civil War era statute, updated it and allowed it to apply to American citizens who they say were using force to try to interfere and impede a government function. Well, if we can apply what the Biden DOJ did to J6ers for seditious conspiracy, believe me, after covering those cases, the jury instructions and what the judges said, this more than applies to people who are interfering with ICE operations, using their vehicles to do so, and high ranking elected officials who are stoking that sort of violence even if they didn't participate in it. Enrique Tarrio wasn't even in Washington D.C. nonetheless, he was charged with seditious conspiracy and got sentenced to 22 years in prison.
A
You're exactly right. And there's one other element here that I think is directly correlated. The left has been trying to blame Donald Trump for the events of January 6, claiming that he incited a riot in the building. He incited an attack on, on the Capitol. That was the frame up. And in fact, it went so far as Jack Smith leading an entire prosecution against President Trump on this basis. So if it's good enough to try and go after President Trump on the thinnest of pretexts, by the way, when he says people should go patriotic and peacefully to the Capitol, then why isn't it good enough to go after people like Tim Walls or Jacob Frey who straight up lie about ISIS activities in the service of whipping up violence against them.
C
It'S hard to see how it does not apply. You are correct. Not only did they use the President's comments at the or ignore the President's comments at the Ellipse, go peacefully and patriotically. When I covered the Proud Boys trial during closing arguments, the lead prosecutor used President Trump's offhanded comments in a debate against Joe Biden in October of 2020. Remember where he said after he was prompted by Chris Wallace, okay, Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. The government repeatedly used that comment, that offhanded comment as proof again that the President directed the Proud Boys to organize.
A
Just idiocy. I mean, remember the question was, do you want the Proud Boys to stand down? Will you order them to stand down? And he goes, stand back, stand by. It's literally, settle down, don't do anything violent. And by the way, Wait until I'm president. It's gonna be great. That's obvious what he's saying. And yet that was turned into, oh, he's calling for violence. These people are disgusting, Julie.
C
They are. And so what I'm arguing is that the rules that the Biden DOJ established now need to be turned around and applied in the same manner to the people who are creating a far more dangerous situation in this country over a period of months. So they need to be held accountable. We are really at an escalation point here when you have Tim Walls, and no one's happier about what happened on Wednesday than Tim Walls, because they were holding hearings in Washington on Wednesday about the Somali fraud in his state. He had to pull out of the race for reelection because of that. And now he and the mayor, Jacob Fry, said, see an opportunity to pivot away from that scandal, that $19 billion scandal in his state, and now use this to re energize themselves, reestablish themselves, and then, of course, attack Donald Trump and his administration.
A
In 2020, we saw a similar conflagration in Minneapolis in the nature of the George Floyd riots, and they were used as a political tool to try and sow chaos and so that the populace would vote against Trump. It's just as simple as that. If people feel like their lives are unstable, they oftentimes will hold the person who's ultimately in charge accountable. It's a presidential election. The left used chaos in the United States as an election rigging scheme against Trump. Do you anticipate that this is what we could get more of this year going into the midterms? Like, in other words, as we speak right now, Julie, there's riding going on in Minneapolis. You have people, left wingers, who are shoving ICE agents, trying to impede them from doing their jobs. Do you think it's possible or even likely that we'll see a lot more of this going into the summer?
C
I mean, it's hard to see where this doesn't continue. The President and Kristi Noem are not going to back down from following federal law to remove illegal aliens. Vince, there's a much bigger question here at play. Why do these Democrats and the media who so sympathetically cover these illegals like Kilmer, Abrego, Garcia, and the people here who are promoting the Palestinian terrorists, who are on campuses organizing the same sort of terror activities, but why do they want illegal immigrants in our country? We know why. So they can get IDs and so they can vote and so they can help feather the Nest of the Democratic Party Party, including Tim Walls. But no one seems to want to answer that question. How else do you remove illegal aliens? This is the only way to do it, unfortunately, especially if they are not showing up for court appearances. The president has given them multiple opportunities to leave voluntarily, to pay them to leave. So why do they want to keep at least 10, 12 illegal immigrants in. In our country? It just defies common sense. So that's a much bigger question that I hope Republicans will keep pushing this year. Not just the ICE operations, but why do they want illegal immigrants in this country costing us money, committing crimes and avoiding responsibility and accountability as the rest of us have to face?
A
Okay, two, two final questions for you. The first is I think it's time for President Trump to invoke the Insurrection act for real. I know he's talked about it a lot. It is available to him under the law. It's a longstanding law in the United States of America, has been used many times by presidents. I think it's long overdue for him just to fully exercise his constitutional power here because I'm not really sure what other recourse we have. Julie, do you think now is the time?
C
I think it's definitely something that should be on the table. Absolutely. I mean, I know the President talked about that in 2020. He was talked out of it by Attorney General Bill Barr and others in the military. So I'm sure no one around him now is trying to talk him out of it. However, Vince, keep in mind the weakness of the Republican party in Washington, D.C. how many senators and House members spoke up about what happened yesterday? I did not see a lot of reaction. I did not see a lot of our Republican senators and congressmen come to the defense of this ICE agent and these operations in general. Maybe I missed it. I sure saw a lot of Democrats posting about it. But the. The weakness of the Republicans in Washington are. Are hindering the President from moving forward on a lot of these measures. And so I think that they will be the ones trying to talk him out of it because it is a drastic step. Is it necessary? It appears that there really is no other alternative at this point.
A
Point, yeah. By the way, J.D. vance has been a standout in the last 24 hours coming to the defense of ICE agents. And remember, I just want to remind people of something really clear in terms of a comparison. In the Biden era, remember when Border Patrol agents were being wrongly accused of whipping Haitian migrants on the border? Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas, Kamala Harris, they all jumped in on the side of the lie. They said. They said echoes of slavery. Look, you have a person on horseback whipping a black person. It was disgusting. It was all a lie. And they didn't side with law enforcement, who was just doing their job, by the way, not whipping anybody. And then now you get Democrats once again rooting against law enforcement and the Trump administration. J.D. vance instantly saying, no, no, no. There's abundant evidence that this officer did the right thing. And we stand with him and we stand with ice. Just great to see. What a breath of fresh air. Before we let you go, Jolie, one last thing. A big news in our world. Dan Bongino is returning to his podcast. I know you've been friends with Dan for for many years. What are you looking forward to as Dan starts doing two hours a day beginning in early February?
C
Well, first of all, I love being on your show and I you are just one of the best in the business. I've always said this to you, even when we were chatting on wmal. So I know that you are excited to have Dan back as well. Obviously, I think like most people, we want to hear the inside scoop about what's been happening at the FBI. What he discovered, what he tried to accomplish and couldn't because of this institutional corruption at the FBI, what he thinks needs to be done. Because I'll tell you, Vince, despite the really hard efforts of Dan and Cash Patel, it is hard to see how this FBI is salvageable at this point. And we had new documents posted this week by Senator Rand Paul, 70 pages of records related to an investigation into a completely innocent woman. You and I talked about this on the radio the other day.
A
Yes.
C
I mean, what this FBI was up to for four years, it's hard to see how it can be significantly reformed in a way that can earn back the trust of the American people, especially the political right. So that's what I would like to hear from Dan. And I'm sure he will have a lot of juicy tidbits for us to nibble on and also just hear about his experience there.
A
Yes. No, he had a big task that he undertook there, and he'll be able to give us a real perspective of what it's like on the inside. Hey, Julie, thank you, as always. You're great. Really appreciate your time today.
C
You, too, Vince. Thanks.
A
All right. There's Julie Kelly. And I am looking forward to what's going on with Dan. All right. And for those of you if you're joining us live late here in the program, if you're Wondering if, like what's gonna happen to Vince. Never fear, I'm with you. We'll give you more details on that that's coming. But we're here to stay. I promise you that. Okay, let's see here. I need to tell you some other Minnesota news. You heard Julie just mention a moment ago that there was a big hearing in Congress yesterday, a big hearing in Congress yesterday about all the fraud that's been going on in Minnesota. And one of the absolute standouts in Congress, we spent a lot of time picking on everybody who deserves to be picked on in Congress. One of the absolute standouts is a young Texas congressman by the name of Brandon Gill. We've had him here on this program, we've had him on the radio show a bunch of times. He's great. And yesterday he very effectively used his time to demonstrate that the United States should have never opened its arms and for that matter, our checkbooks, whether we knew it or not, to Somalis who came into the country and robbed us blind. And Brandon Gill yesterday asked one of the experts who was sitting there, let me just ask you a core question. Has the Somali population in Minnesota made Minnesota stronger or made it weaker? Watch this exchange.
E
Cut seven large scale Somali immigration make Minnesota stronger or weaker. Certainly stronger. Certainly stronger. Do you know what percentage of Somali headed households in Minnesota are on food stamps?
A
No.
E
54%. Do you know what that number is for native Minnesota headed households? Well, to be clear, a majority of the seven, it's 7%. There's a big difference between 54% and 7%, is there not? Excuse me, sir, could I, could I answer the question? Let me move on. We've got a lot of questions here. What percentage of Somali headed households in Minnesota are on Medicaid?
A
I don't know.
E
It's 73%. Do you know what that number is for Minnesota native households? Again, you're using the phrase Minnesota native households, but the majority, the number is 18%. That's a quite an astounding difference. I think we would. Can I answer the question, please? Let me ask you one more and then we can go on to that. What percentage of Somali headed households are on welfare in general?
A
I don't know.
E
It's 81%.
A
And that just continued, by the way. That's only a small fraction of the beatdown that Brandon Gill gave that guy yesterday in the hearing. And as Brandon Gill points out correctly, Somali immigration into Minnesota or for that matter any other state has not improved. The United States hasn't made Minnesota stronger. This is A bumper sticker expression that's been wielded by the American left and ingested by too many Americans for way too long. This idea that diversity is our strength or immigration is our strength, or immigration makes us stronger, or diversity makes us stronger, none of that is true, not on its face. Are those things tools towards a greater end? Yeah. Potentially wise immigration policy can make our country stronger. Diverse opinions and different ways of thinking can make our country stronger. But fundamentally, the thing that makes us stronger is a shared sense of purpose and appreciation for the country. Assimilation into the mission, pride in country. Those are the things that make us stronger. Focusing on caring for the people who live here instead of just treating them like garbage and then importing new populations. That makes us weaker, actually. And it makes us sad and hollowed out, which is why so many Americans keep voting for Donald Trump with each passing election. Because we are done with that shit. As Pete Hegseth would say. We're done with that. No more of that.
B
We're done with that shit.
A
Yeah, that's right. So Brandon Gill gets up there yesterday and he asks some really basic questions, just really fundamental. This is like a Socratic exercise where he just asks, has it made us stronger? Yes, it has, says the person whose mind is still locked in the matrix. And then he goes, okay, let's explore that. How many are on welfare? How many are on Medicaid? How many are drawing public benefits and not on net providing to the state of Minnesota? And the answer is, almost everybody, almost everybody is taking and not giving. And not only are they legally taking in the form of welfare programs that do go to legal immigrants or American citizens, like many of the Somalis who are now in Minnesota, but they're also illegally taking in the form of the immense fraud that Keith Ellison and Tim Walls and Jacob Frey let happen to their state. You know, yesterday on the radio program, I was playing audio of Keith Ellison. There's audio from last year, audio from early last year of Keith Ellison caught on tape telling soon to be political donors that he would work to relieve the investigations into Somali fraudsters. Those political donors would go on to become convicted in the Feed Our Future fraud, which is the state feeding program that was stealing the food program that was just really, in the end, a theft operation, stealing from taxpayers and not feeding hungry people. Keith Ellison was working to protect them. And in the audio he says, Tim Walls shares my view, in other words, that Somalis are being needlessly hassled by investigators who are looking into any of this. And I'm going to make it go away, says Keith Ellison as he declares that even just a phone call from the attorney general's office is enough to scare people away from what they're up to in this case, investigating the Somalis. And what do they say in the conversation? Well, we're prepared to make a big contribution to you. And Keith Ellison responds. Money is freedom. Money is freedom. What does that mean when the attorney General of the state in his own offices is meeting with political donors and they're trying to get pressure relieved on them because there's a well predicated investigation into their activities? And the attorney general goes, well, money is freedom. What he's telling them is, you give me money and I will make your problems go away. He's a mobster is what he is, and he implicated Tim Walls in it. In other words, what should happen is these guys should be treated like they're a part of a criminal conspiracy because we have evidence that they're a part of a criminal conspiracy. Slam them with rico. Go after these guys, whatever it takes. There's a reason Tim Walls is freaking out about the U.S. attorney right now in Minnesota who keeps digging into all of this fraud. And I don't think it's just because they're convicting Somalis. Tim Walls says it's white supremacy to go after all of this. I have a fun way to prove it's not white supremacy. Put Tim Walls in handcuffs. He's the whitest person I've ever seen. It's an amazing story. We'll keep tracking him. We got the big national radio show today. TheVinchShow.com is where you can get your local listings. And then I'll be back tomorrow for another exciting edition of Vince. Yes. We've got all sorts of plans in the works. All sorts of fun things are happening. We'll give you updates as we can. Big press release coming from Dan and his future coming up on Monday. A lot to look forward to. Glad to have you with us. The best audience anywhere. I'll be back with you soon.
Host: Vince Coglianese
Guest: Julie Kelly (Declassified with Julie Kelly, American Greatness contributor)
Date: January 8, 2026
This episode of VINCE centers on the high-profile ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis, dissecting the incident, its aftermath, political reactions, and broader issues of law enforcement, political insurrection rhetoric, and immigration policy. Vince brings his signature rapid-fire analysis and no-nonsense tone to the unfolding narrative, joined by political commentator Julie Kelly, for a critical unpacking of the event, its media framing, and its implications amid America’s ongoing political polarization.
“We will put out a press release with Westwood One and Rumble… It’s gonna be early February and we’re gonna be ready to roll that first show… I’ve got so much content bottled up in my head.” (Dan Bongino, 03:37)
“She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle and attempted to run a law enforcement officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism… The ICE officer, fearing for his life… fired defensive shots.” (Kristi Noem, 16:26)
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey ([11:54AM Tweet] & [21:32]): Immediate condemnation of ICE, demands federal agents leave Minneapolis.
“ICE… get the fuck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here.” (Jacob Frey, 21:32)
Vince’s Critique: Attacks Frey for stoking tensions, demonizing law enforcement, and using inflammatory rhetoric.
“You’re the one who needs to get out of that city. You’re the one who should be behind bars.” (Vince, 21:50)
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz ([25:48 - 31:03]):
“We’ve been warning for weeks… that the Trump administration’s dangerous, sensationalized operations are a threat… And today that recklessness cost someone their life.” (Tim Walz, 25:48)
Police Union Response: Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association condemns political leaders’ “irresponsible, reckless rhetoric,” warning it “fuels hostility, emboldens bad actors and puts lives at risk.” (Statement paraphrased, 23:00)
“Now the Democrats call that a murder. Of course, since that didn’t apply to Ashley Babbitt… And now, yes… stoking more potential violence, endangering the lives of ICE officers…” (Julie Kelly, 34:54)
“They’re claiming that an unarmed woman was just killed by a federal immigration officer. That’s designed to both, I think, lie to the audience and to prejudice their judgments towards what just took place.” (Vince, 37:04)
“What percentage of Somali headed households in Minnesota are on food stamps?”
“54%...” (Rep. Brandon Gill, 51:41) “What percentage… on Medicaid? It’s 73%... on welfare in general? 81%.”
“It's on my phone, folks, weeks ahead of time. I took so many notes. I mean, obviously, I can't talk about classified stuff… but there's a lot of stuff we can talk about and provide context and color and, you know, crush a lot of the black pill bullshit out there.” — Dan Bongino [04:07]
“ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here.” — Jacob Frey [21:32] “You demonize ICE right away. When anybody with two brain cells to rub together knows that if there's an ICE involved shooting, it is very likely because ICE was in the right.” — Vince [11:00]
“Ashley Babbitt… climbing or attempting to go through a window because a mob was behind her. Executed at near point blank range by Michael Byrd… And then remember, Vince, as the doxing of this ICE agent continues… Michael Byrd was allowed to hide out for months at the expense of taxpayers.” — Julie Kelly [37:58]
“Do not allow them to invoke the Insurrection Act… To Minnesotans, I say this, I feel your anger. I’m angry. They want a show, we can’t give it to them.” — Tim Walz [30:33]
“54%. There’s a big difference between 54% and 7%, is there not? ... 81% [on welfare].” — Brandon Gill [51:41 - 52:26]
“Assimilation into the mission, pride in country. Those are the things that make us stronger. Focusing on caring for the people who live here… importing new populations… makes us weaker, actually.” — Vince [53:55]
Vince leads with unfiltered commentary, rapid-fire analysis, and a combative tone—challenging left-wing narratives, railing against “insurrectionist” Democrats, and emphasizing law & order. Julie Kelly brings corroborative insight on DOJ double standards, January 6th, and the weaponization of political language. The episode is rich in concrete incident analysis, historical context, and a crusading, high-energy talk-radio style.
