Well, we got him. We got him. They caught this dude. The. The pipe bomber. The suspected pipe bomber. Guy called Brian Cole caught in Woodbridge, Virginia, yesterday morning just ahead of our live broadcast. His name wasn't even out as we began the show. Yesterday, but we know a lot more about him as of today with a lot more biographical information to come, including his fundamental motivations. More on that in a moment. But first, here's the Attorney General of the United States yesterday announcing the good news from the Justice Department.
Early this morning. Brian Cole Jr. Was arrested and charged with placing the pipe bombs at the RNC and the DNC on January 5, 2021. He has been charged with violating 18 USC 844, which is use of an explosive device. This investigation is ongoing. As we speak, search warrants are being executed and. And there could be more charges to come. I'm going to let our U.S. attorney discuss that shortly. This was the work of multiple agencies working together. This morning's operation was carried out safely and successfully.
Safely and successfully. So as she was talking yesterday, this was in the 2 o' clock hour Eastern time yesterday afternoon. They had to wait for the President to finish another peace deal that he had worked out. And as soon as his peace deal conference was over, they started talking about, hey, we caught this pipe bomber today and we're in the midst of investigative action right now. That's because the FBI was continuing to search the home, the car, everything of this guy, Brian Cole Jr. They had taken him, taken him into custody. They interviewed him yesterday. There's a lot of activity going on. Police helicopters circling above Woodbridge, Virginia, the whole road, lockdown. They finally catch this guy after nearly five years of hunting for him, or at least a couple months of hunting for him. We'll get to what the old FBI was doing in a moment. And Pam Bondi said, this is not based on any new information. Remember when the FBI put out a request for assistance in October when they said, hey, if you got any more information, let us know. Get to us. We got a $500,000 reward. Here's this high quality video footage. We want help. We need some help to put the final pieces together here. And Pam Bondi says the truth is nobody came forward or if they did, nothing of value. This was based on no new tips. This was based on no new witnesses. It was just based on the stuff they already had at the FBI. Cut to. Take a look at the Attorney General here. Four long years. Let me be clear. There was no new tip, There was no new witness. Just good diligent police work and prosecutorial work. Working as a team along with atf, Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of course, the FBI. We are working every day to restore the public's trust. We hope that today is a significant step to towards that progress. We'll share more information when. When we can and when it unfolds. I cannot stress enough how hard Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino have worked for months to make our nation's capital safer and to make our country safer. Man, what a great day. It's funny. It's. You know, you watch these guys and they all look like they had a deep sense of. Of well deserved satisfaction, relief, joy, that they could finally bring this coveted capture to public attention. And, you know, there was. I know there's been so much concern and back and forth and chatter and allegations and guesses, and that person did it. That person did it. And so just imagine being the guys like Cash and Dan who are fully dedicated. I don't know who the hell's still questioning these guys, who are fully dedicated to the mission of bringing justice, accountability, going after the bad guys, capturing them, and making our country safer. Duh. These guys have to keep toiling away, toiling away, toiling away, and then hearing all the horseshit that's constantly directed at them and trying to, as best they can, to keep their heads down and just do the job until they can actually demonstrate results. Right. What is. What did Dan say? Forever is like, you don't got to trust me. Just watch. You don't have to trust me. I got to prove it through my actions. Well, the action is they take this guy into custody yesterday. And here's Cash talking a little bit more about how they basically just sifted through the available data that the FBI had for going on five years in order to establish. Whoa. Found our guy. We know exactly who it is. Here's cut three. The FBI director watch. The Attorney General said we did not discover any new information. What we did an investigation spearheaded by the deputy Director and the ADIC of our Washington field office, brought in a new team of investigators and experts, reexamined every piece of evidence, sifted through all the data, something that the prior administration refused and failed to do. As a result of that, we generated numerous investigative leads, executed multiple legal process with their U.S. attorney partners, and came to this conclusion today. And that is why we were able to safely secure this individual into custody.
Yeah, so they just got. They just had the data already. They had all this stuff. I'll get to that data in a moment because since the press conference yesterday, we get an affidavit, basically a government document, containing all the ways they tracked this guy down. And then you read through this thing like, holy crap, they had this guy dead to rights. And you also Wonder, wait a second. They had this guy dead to rights for a long time. This data has been sitting at the FBI forever. How is it that it took this team, it took Cash and Dan and the guys were at the FBI now, to finally settle this thing up? We'll get to that in a moment. And the implications for the future, too. But as you heard Cash say, and you don't even need to hear Cash say this, you know that. Well, first of all, this audience in a big way knows this. This thing's Dan's baby. It is very unusual for the Deputy Director of the FBI to be involved in an investigative announcement at the United States Department of Justice. Why would you include the deputy director? It almost never happens. Despite their role in getting to the bottom of any particular case, you don't really hear from the deputy director. There's a reason we haven't really heard from Dan Bongino at a lot of these statements and various press events over the course of the last year. Because by and large, the tradition is you just have the principal do it. You have the guy who's at the very top of the food chain do it. In this case, that would be Cash Patel or the Attorney General of the United States or perhaps a US Attorney whose jurisdiction is responsible for the prosecution. You don't usually bring anybody lower down the totem pole up to the microphone to talk, even if they do a lot of work. But there have been a couple of events this year that Dan was very heavily involved in where his participation has been very highlighted. One of them was Operation Summer Heat. That was the effort to take all these violent criminals off the streets of America's cities. And Cash Patel just went out of his way to say, guys, look, everyone talks about the FBI. That's great. It is a team effort. But I gotta tell you, this thing was the brainchild of Dan Bongino. He was able to bring down violent crime across the country by how hard he was working with all of our various field offices to do that. And he deserves credit for that. Wonderful news. Great, Great to hear. But then yesterday, the Attorney General of the United States, who you'll remember earlier this year, there were all these reports that Dan and Bondi were butting heads. Well, whatever that was, that at least seems to be water under the bridge, because yesterday, Pam Bondi and Cash Patel said, dan, get up here and talk to us a bit about what just went down and your role in it. And here is our buddy, dan bongino. Watch Cup 4, folks.

This is what it's like when you work for a president who tells you to go get the bad guys and stop focusing on other extraneous things not related to law enforcement. This is what happens. We had a great team. I know it's said a lot in this business. It was a team effort. Becomes cliche. But cliches are useful for a reason because they matter. Was a team effort. The director and the Attorney General emphasized that it was not a new public tip. This came from. This was our internal work at the FBI. And I want to just really express my sincere gratitude to this attorney general and this president for allowing us the latitude. I spoke with Ms. Bondi very early when we maybe day two. And I said we're going to get this guy. And she said yes you are. And we did. I want to also thank. He's not here. But Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche who we deal with often as well who could not have been more supportive. Whatever process we need. Judge Jeanine Todd and Attorney General Bondi. They were there. All you had to do. They were a phone call away and their team was amazing. We actually never had to make that phone call because they were always responsive. Thank you Judge as well. You were amazing. Folks. You're not going to walk into our capital city, put down two explosive devices and walk off in the sunset. Not going to happen. We were going to track this person to the end of the earth. There was no way he was getting away. Well, we didn't have to track him to the end of the earth. It wound up in Woodbridge, Virginia. I want to thank the team. They were amazing. They never let this go again. Attorney General Bondi, for your incredible support. Director Patel. Judge, I know they're giving me a lot of unnecessary credit but make no mistake, they were intimately involved in this and were there for all of those supportive mechanisms. And I deeply appreciate it.

A lot of props in the chat for Dan. A lot of birthday wishes for the guy. It was his birthday yesterday. So that was pretty cool that they could catch this dude on his birthday. But I do see I want to point to and at least one message. I've seen a couple of like this. So I just want to address it fundamentally. There's a guy called Count Gout. He's got gout or something. Who's in our chat who said Vince? Don't you mean it looks like they caught a theatrical cast member. A made up bomber. What a joke. No, the joke is you. Count Gout. You're the joke. You're the idiot here. You're the rube. Because think about what's going on. Let me. Let me just point out the obvious. You think Dan Bongino is orchestrating a cover up, but come on, really? You think he's gonna show up to a microphone and be like, yeah, we caught the guy in order to pull a fast one on you, that he's like some deep state op? Come on. The whole thing is so stupid. How hard did you hit your head before you came up with this assessment? And you're not the only one. I'm just picking on you because you're in the chat, showing up and running your mouth. But Count Gout says that it's not the only one. I'm seeing this all over the place and I'm convinced. These are like bots. These people are psychopaths. At some point, if you don't trust anybody, you're done with everything. If you don't trust anybody, you're just done with everything. You're leading a sad life at this point. Is it true that Dan and Cash have inherited a shitty reputation at the FBI where we've instinctively developed reaction to the things that come out of the government, we say, you know, we don't trust this agency. Yes, that's the reason Cash and Dan were chosen to go into that job in the first place. Because it was an agency with such a shitty reputation, you had to send people in with a good reputation for criticizing and detecting the problems. So they go in, they keep their heads down, they do their work, and they demonstrate results. So when they give you results and you tell them to fuck off. No, you're the idiot. They're the guys who went in there. They put their asses on the line. They actually produce results for you. And now you should demonstrate, I think a little bit of gratitude instead of this ridiculous attitude that is based on literally nothing.
So good for these guys. They deserve a victory lap. They deserve to come out and say, look, we finally did this thing. It's great.
So not only is this Bongino's baby, which he deserves a lot of credit for, you know, he was doing an interview.
Last night with.
With Sean Hannity, and he was recalling what it was like just arriving at the FBI, like the world that he was arriving at, into. And here's what he had to say on that subject. Watch.

First meeting. My first meeting, I swore in, and I kid you not, probably 15 minutes later, and the people who are in the meeting know, I said, when I get in there, I want a full brief on this pipe bomber case on day one. And I looked at the case agent after getting a full brief on what they'd done, and they had done some, a pretty extensive amount of work. They had chased down, I think, thousands of leads, 6,000 plus interviews had been conducted, hundreds of tips, and it still was relatively stale, the case. And I grabbed the case agent on the way out and I said, you're going to get me this guy. You're going to track this guy down and you're going to find him. You're going to get me this guy. I want him. And that started what's been almost a nine month operation right now to make sure that we could get full accountability and transparency to the American public and find this guy. And today, today we did.
A
Yeah, good for him. You know, we had Ed Martin on early this year. Remember him? He's the weaponization czar, the guy who handles pardons in the Justice Department for the Trump administration. And he was one of the first guys who told us, as we, we sat him down on our set, he starts talking about, he's like, Vince, he goes, the whole thing. This is like Dan's whole like mo. He gets in there, the pipe bomber is like story number one, every sing. The guy's like waking up each morning trying to get updates on the pipe bomber. What's going on with the pipe bomber case, who's working on the pipe bomber case? Every single freaking day they're doing this. And so were they. They were letting it fall by the wayside. Hell no. The whole thing was about solving it and in fact, you know, getting this guy. The left never thought it would happen. They never thought it would happen. They're pissed off that it happened. The Virginia senator Mark Warner, awful human being, he got on television yesterday. He was annoyed by the celebratory nature of the Justice Department's announcement yesterday. Watch Mark Warner cut 6. Watch the Democrats upset that we caught the pipe bomber. Look, I got to tell you, it kind of makes me looking at this crowd doing a victory lap when all the senior FBI officials across all key divisions have been fired for political purposes. When in some field offices, up to 45% of the FBI officers who were doing things like counter espionage and cyber have been assigned to do immigration cases. It's a little rich that they're saying they're American safer. How much earlier could we have caught this guy if resources hadn't been diverted? And I hope it would also remind folks that on January 6th, I was here at the Capitol. On January 6th, it was an ugly, awful day. And this administration and this President basically pardoned all the perpetrators. You know, it's that kind of.
Picking and choosing of facts from this crowd that makes me a little bit crazy. So. So that dork just inverted literally everything. But he's. He's revealing something. He's. He's. He's tapping into something super important. You hear what he said? He's like, these guys have fired all sorts of FBI people. True. They have fired FBI people. They're getting rid of the political operatives now. He inverted this thing. He was like, they're turning into something political. No, they're depoliticizing the FBI. They're turning it into a functional agency that actually goes after criminals and finds even guys in cold cases. And why was this case cold, by the way? We'll get to that. They go after guys in cold cases, catch pipe bombers. That's because they're actually doing investigative work as Cash. Patel keeps saying, like, good cops be good cops. That's what they're doing with the FBI. It's fundamentally working. And then he said. Did you hear what he said? They're taking FBI guys off of national security cases and then putting them on things like immigration.
It is true. The FBI is very focused on our border mission right now. That's because the President is very focused on our border mission right now. He said, hey, guys, FBI, I need your help. Do this. It's been a massive success. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has intervened in helping with the border mission. And as a result, we've been able to hustle nearly 3 million people out of the country, whether it's through self deportation or physical deportation from our country. These are massive numbers. Way more to go. You and I are demanding more. More, more obviously. And the border's sealed up and they're getting violent criminals off the streets, and they're bringing crime down to record lows, and they're dropping the homicide rates. This is all phenomenal news, actually. And Mark Warner's upset about it because he's a merchant of chaos. That's what he'd prefer. He doesn't like that things are settling down thanks to President Trump and the FBI. But the other thing is, he said they took the FBI guys off of national security missions. You know what a national security mission is in the eyes of the left and in the eyes of the old FBI run by Christopher Wray, national security mission is crushing grandmothers who go inside the United States Capitol building, their own Capitol building. That's a national security priority. According to the left, destroying thousands of people's lives as a Matter of national security. That's what he's talking about.
And so he's upset that they caught the pipe bomber. He's upset that this thing is now closer to being solved. We've got the suspect now let's find out more. More ahead on how they caught this guy and the lingering questions that Dan and Cash are promising answers are coming for all ahead on this edition of Vince, great to have you with us. So how'd they catch this guy? How did that happen? Well, I'm glad you asked. We got an affidavit on the subject, government document saying that this was a combo of things. They had videos. First of all, as you know, they had video surveillance of the guy, which we like a lot of video surveillance of the guy. And they established that the dude is. They said five foot seven was the estimate. Five foot seven. And they ended up clocking this dude in at five foot six. He's five foot Six. So. And they said that's, that's well within the margin of error for the type of assessment that they were making.
Here. They reviewed video footage from January 5th of 2021, and they said it showed that the guy was planting pipe bombs at the RNC and the dnc, Same individual. And we saw this video footage. He was observed on video surveillance footage at various locations in the surrounding neighborhood between approximately 7:34 at night and 8:18 at night. They describe what he was wearing. He had the gray sweatshirt and the dark pants, the Nike Air Max Speed turf shoes, the famous shoes, and a face mask that obscured his face. The video surveillance footage showed him adjusting eyeglasses at the time. That's an important detail here, that he was adjusting his eyeglasses and that he was carrying a backpack. So they do. This is a fancy name for this. But they did what they call the reverse projection photogrammetry examination, which is a very fancy way of saying a height analysis. They did a height analysis of him and they, they determined that he's 5 foot 7, 5 foot 7 inches with an error rate of plus or minus 1.1 inches. That's pretty dialed in on the error rate. And then they catch this guy. They say he's 30 years old, Brian J. Cole Jr. He's 5 foot 6. So it's within the error rate. And he wears corrective eyeglasses. Okay, so those are two data points. He lives in a single family house with his mother and other family members. He works in an office of a bail bondsman in Northern Virginia. They ran down his bank accounts. They got his checking account, they got credit cards. And they were looking through his records dating back to January of 2018. And what they determined by looking at his purchase records was that he spent a lot of time at a lot of home improvement stores buying the very materials that were found as a part of the pipe bombs. He was at Home Depots all across Northern Virginia buying the materials that would eventually be found outside of the RNC and the dnc. So they were able to run down these records. They also found all sorts of bomb making type equipment that was consistent with what they've, my guess has surely been finding as they search the house, whether it's the safety glasses, the wire stripping tool, the wire nuts that they found, sandpaper, a machinist's file, and protective gloves and disinfecting wipes as well.
They, they said the bomb making was occurring and the purchasing was occurring well before the 2020 election. They said that the, the actual construction of this thing, again, the purchasing at Home Depot, this was happening back in 2019. So, remember, just. Just in terms of whatever context we can establish from all of this, President Trump is obviously in office in 2019, arrives in 2017 as president of the United States all the way through the beginning of 2021. And so 2019, President Trump is definitely the President of the United States. And this guy is going to Home Depots, he's going to somewhere called Micro center, he's going to Lowe's, he's going to Walmart, and he's buying all of the various supplies that are involved in making these bombs. The affidavit lays out. And he began building all of this in the fall of 2019. And he's doing this throughout 2020, well before the election. So obviously, this is happening coming into what one would expect to be a Biden presidency. Right. This is January of 2021. That the guy's laying the pipe bombs down, and yet he'd been building them throughout the last year. That's just a piece of data I think, that you can sit on and hold on to in the days ahead. Is. You're like, okay, well, it's worth thinking about. It wasn't merely a reaction to the election. It was clearly this guy's. I don't know, he's a bomb obsessive. Whatever it is, he's building it well ahead of the election.
The affidavit continues and points out that they also had this guy's cell phone records. They were able to. So remember, weren't we told at one point that the cell phone data was corrupted, that they didn't have, that the FBI couldn't give us cell phone data? Well, sure enough, they have cell phone data since at least as early as January 5, 2021. Cole has been the user of a specific telephone number with a cellular phone call. Cell phone is how it's referred in the affidavit.
And here they. They basically run through that. His cell phone kept popping up next to all of the cell towers that were directed near Capitol Hill in the locations of the RNC and the dnc. So as he was traversing and being captured on video footage near these party headquarters, his cell phone was pinging at the exact moments that he was walking by some of these cameras. So they definitely knew who this guy was. And let me tell you, as somebody who's been. I've been in the Washington, D.C. area in and around the city for 15 years now. And with that in mind, that area in the evening, by The Capitol building at the RNC and the dnc. It's not a highly trafficked area. There's not a ton of people. There's not a ton of foot traffic going past anything. There's obviously a lot of row homes there, a lot of townhomes that you're walking by, and a couple of, you know, basically the party headquarters and various buildings. But it's just a very lightly trafficked area at night at that time. And you can even see it in the video footage as you watch this guy meandering around past all of these locations. There's really not that many human beings in the shot. In other words, this. If you had cell phone data about a guy who's in the vicinity of these buildings and they. For that exact amount of time, you'd be able to stitch this together pretty easily, actually, relatively. Additionally, they've got video footage of the guy's car. They said they've got footage of his car arriving. He's the registered owner of a 2017 Nissan Sentra with a Virginia license plate. And on January 5, at approximately 7:10pm Is Nissan Sentra was observed driving past a license plate reader at the South Capitol street exit from Interstate 395 South. I395 south, which is less than 1/2 mile from the location where the individual placed the devices was first observed on foot near North Carolina and New Jersey Avenue. In other words, and this is. This is all over Washington, D.C. major metropolitan areas, they've got license plate readers everywhere. So if you drive into a city, you drive into the nation's capital, your license plate is going to get picked up as you drive past cop cars and various license plate readers that are just rampantly collecting data on the vehicles that drive past them. They caught this guy. They had it. And so if, like, you know, for anybody out there who's still doing the like, oh, he's a patsy. He's a patsy. The fricking car is registered to him. He was there at that time. The cell phone pings match up entirely. His. His biographical details down to the inch match up with the guy they were looking for.
So, I mean, come on. So in other words, they've got this guy dead to rights. When you hear Dan Bongino be like, wait, we've got our guy. They've got their guy. This is the guy.
So, useful data inside the affidavit as. As we take a look at exactly what went down here now. What else is there to know? A lot. There's a lot to know. I'll get to that. But let me, let me dwell on something else first. Just the fact that they had all this data. They have all this data, and yet the Biden FBI didn't take this guy into custody. You're telling me you had cell phone data? They had cell phone data. You had license plate scanner data. They had license plate scanner data. They had this guy on camera. They had him. They, they easily identified his height. They knew that he weared prescription glasses. They had all of it and they didn't act on it. Now what is that? What is that? Let's play the game. Is it moron or is it malice? Moron or malice? You dwell on that for a moment and I'll give you my answer in just a moment. Hey. This Christmas, as we celebrate the gift of life. It's like, we could really use some cash over here. That's hilarious. I. No, I'm. I'm ready to donate to the FBI. I'm very happy with what they're up to. Very happy with what. What they're up to.
But this is. So they, they have all this data that they've been sitting on for years. And Dan Bongino, Cash Patel, they finally pull this thing together and you, you're like, well, what happened here? Well, let me give you what happened. Check this out. This is 2023. And Christopher Ray, the old terrible FBI Director, was testifying before Congress, and he was being questioned by Hans Gruber of the Die Hard movies. I'm just kidding. It's Congressman Eli Crane. Watch this. As, as Chris Wray says, we tried everything. We just can't catch this guy. Okay, so you were able to arrest hundreds of individuals who are allowed into the Capitol, walked around, took selfies. But we can't find the individual who committed the most dangerous crime and attempted to cause multiple mass casualty events at the Capitol or around the Capitol. Congressman, we have an entire dedicated team focused specifically on this Investigation. We've done thousands of interviews, visited, again just in the pipe bomb investigation. Thousands of interviews, visited thousands of residents and businesses, reviewed millions of pieces of data. There's something like 39,000 video files. We've assessed like 500 or something tips. We've done extensive public publicity. We've increased the reward money. We've got our lab working on it. We've got our WMD directorate working on it. We've got our Office of Technology division, our cellular analysis team. So the folks that we have working on this investigation are working very aggressively on. Very aggressively. And I, as much as anybody, would like to see it solved. Yeah, right. They're like, we did everything we could. It's just, you know, it's like impossible to get to the bottom of this. Impossible. You had all the fricking data. You had everything.
You had everything. It's almost like you were intentionally trying to keep this case from being solved. It's almost like. Well, here, cut eight. Here's Dan explaining that very thing. Watch.
B
Sean.
A
I don't know.
B
I don't know what the hell this prior leadership team was doing outside of, you know, targeting political opponents, weaponizing the FBI, destroying its reputation, and embarrassing agents that are doing really good work out there, catching terrorists, CCP spies, and everyone else. It's almost like they were intentionally trying to decimate faith and institutions. It's horrifying. I don't know what they were doing.
A
It's horrifying. Like they were trying to destroy faith in our institutions. Kind of seems like what they were up to. So that's the current deputy director of the FBI. That's the guy we can trust. Saying that the people we can't trust were working to destroy your faith in these institutions, were abusing their power. Now, we know that. We've seen that pattern through the years. Dan has seen that pattern through the years, and now he's seeing it up close and personal. It's like, holy crap, we had all this. We had all this, and they didn't do anything with it. Well, I'm gonna do something with it. So they did.
Now I am interested in. To see what happens next in a million different ways. One, I want to know more about the guy who actually planted the bombs, Brian Cole Jr. I want to know more about this guy's bio. Now, perhaps you saw, but they. They put a photo of the dude out, and he's a. He's. The guy's a black suspect. And this is breaking the minds of the media. They don't know what to do they have no idea? So he's a, he's a black dude. That's the suspect. And last night on cnn, cnn, Jake Tapper out of processing error. He couldn't even understand that, that this guy was, was a black dude. He straight up said he's white. He goes, he just presented him last night as a white suspect. Watch this. This is Jake Tapper on cnn. And overlaid on the screen you'll see what the photo, what the suspect actually looks like. Welcome to the lead on Jake Tapper. After nearly five years of investigation, the FBI, FBI finally announced that they had arrested a suspect. A suspect accused of planting pipe bombs near the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters the night before the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack. Brian Cole Jr. A 30 year old white man from the D.C. suburbs is charged with transporting an explosive device in interstate commerce and with malicious destruction by means of explosions. CNN observed local and federal law enforcement outside his home in Woodbridge, Virginia. This morning. Attorney General Bam. Pam Bondi gave very few details about.
This is, that's the blackest white man I've ever seen. That's unreal. That's, that's man, this late in the winter, hell of a tan. That's.
I love how I love. Maybe he didn't see a photo. Like I don't know if you want to give him the benefit of the doubt for four seconds but like even if you. He didn't see the photo, he just arrived at a conclusion based on what, what, what did he, what. His name is Brian Cole Jr. He must be white. Like where, what.
So they're, they're undergoing a processing error right now. They, they, they have no idea what to do with all this. And you know, it's suspect, it's, it's amazing. In addition to that idiocy, which there's, there's been quite a bit of, we also have some flashbacks to the way the media has treated all of this in the lead up to the findings yesterday. Here is this, this guy, what's his name? Some medi. Mehdi Hassan. Here's Mehdi Hassan saying a couple of years ago, January of 2022, Maze More captured this, that obviously the pipe bomber has to be a white dude, which is the reason he hasn't been caught by now. Jelani, you're a black man. I'm a Muslim. When you consider how black criminals and Muslim terrorists are treated both by the legal system and media. And yet the January 6th pipe bomber who laid explosives in front of the RNC and DNC headquarters still walks free. We just learned today that then Vice President Elect Harris was inside the DNC when the bomb was found there. We still don't take domestic terrorism of the far right, white variety seriously in this country, do we? No, we don't. We've seen this since the Obama administration where they pointed out that there was this rise of white nationalist terror and that was promptly squashed and jumped upon by the Republicans in Congress. And so great cries of outrage in response to that. And this has been what we've seen since then. Nowhere near the level of alarm that we've had around the. What was the phrase they used? Islamic terror. That they were trying to make Barack Obama say all the time. Yeah, it's just so depressing. The double standards. I don't know how many times you can draw attention to. Is a Muslim. Keep drawing attention to. It's so stupid. It's so poisonous, but it's so stupid. Like, I just can't believe they haven't caught this white pipe bomber. Guy's black. He's a black dude. I didn't know what color he was, but it turns out he's black. And. And Mehdi Hassan to just jump to a conclusion that he was. He was white and that other guy he was talking to because they're racist. I don't care what color the guy is. I just want them to catch the pipe bomber. Which. Which they did. So that's great news. That's wonderful. So that. It really is. It is funny to rub their faces in that, though. That's really. That's really amazing.
So here's the thing. Let's. Let's talk about the fact that they had this data. They never caught this guy. So here's what I'm hoping for. Chat. I want more criminal charges for the people who covered this up. Like they had everything laying out in front of them. So why don't we just prosecute all of the people who've been screwing us over by not actually holding this guy accountable, not actually hauling him in and deciding they're just going to ignore him outright. They're just going to let him go. Because that's what they did. They just let him go. They just let him go. Dan and Cash didn't let him go. They caught him. But how about charges for these idiots? How about charges for these cruel people? It's enough already. And when it comes to charges going after all of these people.
You should know that Cash Patel just said last night that we are nowhere near done. Now this is a very encouraging clip. I really like this clip. Watch this. This is cut. 10 years cash patel last night on media saying not only are we barreling forward, we're going after people. And he names names. Listen to the names he puts out. Go ahead. Justice. There has to be full accountability, not just with transparency, but also with people being held to justice in a court of law. And we're going to continue to do that. Look, they built this diseased temple over the course of decades, and in 10 months, we've already taken a sledgehammer to it. But that doesn't mean we're done, and that doesn't mean we're not doing the work. It just takes a little bit of time to unravel the deep state that they built here. And we're doing it. And the Jan6 pipe bomber is a piece of it. You're right. But it's not all of it. But I want the American public to know the Jan6 pipe bomber is a piece of it. You're right. We keep speaking in court when we can. We're gonna continue to show up to court and we're gonna continue to make people like Comey and Brennan and Clapper and Page and Strzok and so many others answer for what I believe are their acts of criminal conduct. There you go. Because that's exactly what they did. There you go. When they weaponized law enforcement, went overseas, borrowed information from some hack in England about Russia, and infiltrated our FISA court, lied to a federal officer, and illegally surveilled your father during a presidential candidacy. You think I'm going to let that go? Yeah. Well. And that's it. That's it. That's it. That's the Director of the freaking FBI saying these names. This is not. Oh, it's a random political comment. No, that's it. That's Brennan, that's Comey, that's Clapper, that's Page. That's struck. That's them going overseas. He mentions Christopher Steele there. That's. That's it. That's what I'm talking about. And you heard earlier in that clip, he said something really important. He said, this is not just about transparency. There's a thing, you know, we. We, of course, we want answers. That's. But we've been getting answers for years. One of the things that we've become frustrated by is we keep learning. We keep learning things, and then every time we learn something, it kind of confirms our priors nowadays, which is like, hey, our government's, like, totally corrupt. It's been out of control. It's been abusing the American people. We know that now. And so additional updates on that, like an Arctic frost where we find out that, oh, yeah, Jack Smith was spying on sitting members of Congress. Yeah, yeah, okay. It's not shocking, though. It is appalling, but it's not shocking. We, we know this stuff, this, that. We know that they were violating the oaths of office and trampling all over Americans. What we want is some freaking arrests. We want prosecutions, we want convictions, we want jail time, we want sentences for people. So what Cash Patel said in that clip is two things he told Don Jr. Two things. One, we've been as transparent as any FBI has ever been. We've produced more documents than anybody's ever produced out of the Hoover Building. That's one. And that's great. That's wonderful. But he said it's not enough to be transparent. We need to arrest people. We need prosecutions. And then he named a bunch of really important names. Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Page and Strzok. And he said, that's the kinds of people I'm talking about. God bless him for that.
That's it. That's it. That's it. That's what we want. Dan Bongino says a lot more detail is coming on this bomber that they've just taken into custody. And in fact, depending on when you hear this podcast, you may know more than I currently do. That's how the passage of time works. But here is Dan saying that on Friday, December 5, we may get a lot more information about the bomber and in the days to come. Listen, cut seven. Here's Dan.
B
This was a lengthy investigation. This did not just happen yesterday. We've been doing this for a while. As legal process starts to come out and filter out into the public space, you may see some more stuff tomorrow. I don't want to get ahead of it, but you'll see more. And I want to be very clear with the public. This is chapter one of a 1020 chapter book. This investigation is not over at all. The investigation has just begun. We've interviewed the subject at length. We are still going through an enormous amount of process accounts. So it would be very early for me to get out ahead of that. On. On, on motive. I mean, obviously the motive was to drop a couple bombs and you know, that could have killed people. But what the actual ideology and motivation. I want to be cautious to get this gets done correctly. And sometimes smooth is fast.
A
I've heard him say that before. Sometimes smooth is fast. We'll get you answers as we can get them to you. This is a, this is a real deal criminal investigation. We're going to handle this the proper way and they've got the guy in custody and we're going to get more information out. But here's he said, I think he said it was part one of like a 20 part thing. Here's what I am interested in in those 20 parts. Here's what I think might be coming. If you've got people inside of the FBI who were criminally suppressing an effort to get to the bottom of this, to take this guy into custody for whatever that reason is and God willing, we find out all of it.
You wonder, will the grand conspiracy charges, which I am praying for and we've seen some reports are going to occur coming up in January, Will the grand conspiracy charges include anything related to the pipe bomber case? It's worth thinking about. It's worth thinking about because as you've heard from the attorney general of the United States, from the director of the FBI, the deputy director of the FBI, each of these officials keeps saying that administration had this data. They refused to act on it. That certainly seems to me like there's a criminal intent behind that. So I'm going to, I'm going to hold on for that. But sometimes smooth is fast. As, as somebody once said, that's Dan, Dan just said that moments ago. So a lot of, a lot of really interesting developments again, a lot, a lot worth celebrating here. A lot worth celebrating here. But also a lot more answers to come and I'm really eager for that one more thing on this. And then I want to move on to some other hilarious features in the news that have me cracking up. To close out the week, Shawn Davis has a fantastic tweet as usual, because Shawn Davis is a fantastic person. He says pretty wild that Christopher Ray was able to hunt down Granny McMemaw using nothing but a pixelated photo of a partial shoe print and DNA analysis of a single strand of fiber from her hand knit scarf found on the Capitol steps. But he couldn't find the J6 pipe bomber despite having his license plate, cell phone tower pings, purchase history or video of him walking right by the RNC and the dnc.
Yeah, good point, Sean.
Retweet, repost. We reposted it on X. Good point. Granny McMe Ma.
Biden hates Granny McNeemaw because she's a Trump voter. He hates her. He hates her. Speaking of Donald Trump and, and how wonderful he is, do you see this week that, that Tim Walls, who the president referred to as retarded, is not, not that happy about it because now random patriotic Americans are driving by his house and they're calling him retarded. Have you seen.
Justin, have you seen this at all? This is, this is one of the all time great clips of the week. Justin says no. Here's the, the, the Elmer Fudd of Minnesota. This is Governor Tim Walls complaining that patriotic Americans keep driving by his house with a message. Are you okay with the, the President calling our neighbors garbage? Are you okay with him referring to Minnesota as a hellhole? Unfactly untrue. This creates danger. And I'll tell you what, in my time on this, I'd never seen this before. People driving my house by my house and using the R word in front of people. This is shameful. And I have yet to see an elected official, a Republican elected official say, you're right, that's shameful. He should not say it. So look, I'm worried. We know how these things go. They start with taunts, they turn to violence. So deeply concerned.
They start with taunts, they turn to violence. He says of course that that phenomenon is only, only on the left. Is that the case where they, they start with taunts, they turn to violence. That's a whole, that's a left wing phenomenon. He's wrongfully ascribing that to us. Are you serious? So I, I, I wrote, I really want to see some of the surveillance footage of this. Would I, Tim Walls, we here on behalf of the entire Vince audience. I'm putting a public records request in today to the state of Minnesota. We need the security footage of the people who have been shouting the R word at you as they, as they drive past your house.
Merry Christmas, you filthy animal. That's, that's Tim Walls. He is something. He's not the only Democrat that has me cracking up today. You guys know about this guy, Sri Tendahar, the, the, the funniest, the single funniest Democrat congressman he is, I think he's competing with Al Green to try and impeach Donald Trump the most. To constantly submit articles of impeachment against Donald Trump. This week he wants to impeach the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. And because he's got the funniest look and accent of every, of any single member of Congress, I have to show you. This is so funny. By the way, as this video starts, you will hear, and hopefully you can hear this in all the audio. You're going to hear a guy, an aide to Congressman Sri Tendahar. What's that, Justin?
Oh, it's enhanced. You're gonna. Okay, you'll hear an aide subtly say it, and then we'll show you some more. We'll emphasize it, saying, go. The dude whispers, go. And then Sri Tendahar produces this hilarious piece of footage. Watch.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hexseth is uniquely unqualified for his role. Every day it becomes clearer that he is engaging in unlawful illegal activity. That is why today I am preparing two articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hexseth. One for murder and conspiracy to murder, and another for reckless and unlawful mishandling of classified information. Recently, Pete Hexseth has been under increased scrutiny for his direct orders to kill everybody on a small civilian boat off the coast of Venezuela. Okay, so funny.
First of all, fellas, do we have a room in the budget to get a wig? I need one of those wigs.
B
I need.
A
I need a street.
He's. By the way, I pretty. Can we get the same wig that he's wearing? That's what I want. I want. Exactly. I gotta find out who his wig maker is. We'll have to ask Rock who that is. That's. That's street tender. But that. That video is amazing for a million reasons. One of them is the aide who. Who whispers to him at the beginning.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hexag is uniquely unqualified. They didn't even take the. Cut it out of the video.
And then he does this spiel. It's the same time. It's the same thing every time, too. It's like I can't even understand what he's really saying. I have no idea, like, what his rationale is. The Secretary of Defense Pete Egg need to be impeached because he is hurting my feelings and he's a bad man, and I don't like him. And I want people to know that he needs to be impeached. And like, go.
Sri Tendahar. You are an SNL character. You are the single funniest member of Congress. Thank you for your service to our country. You're ridiculous. You shouldn't be in Congress. But as long as you're going to be there, at least you're making us laugh. Thank you for that. I've got the big national radio show coming up today, the VIN Show.com youm can find your local listings and. Yeah, we've got the local radio listings there. You can watch us rumble dot com. Vince. We're always doing it live. And you can join us in the chat. You're awesome. Truly the best audience anywhere. I hope you have a fantastic weekend. We live in a great country. Thanks for constantly making it even better. I can't wait to talk to you again on Monday. We're gonna have a big show then too.
Episode Title: The Boys At The Bureau Got The Bomber (Episode 182)
Host: Vince Coglianese
Release Date: December 5, 2025
This episode of VINCE is a triumphant yet introspective breakdown of the recent capture of the January 6th pipe bomber, Brian Cole Jr. Host Vince Coglianese dives into the inside story of how the FBI, now under the leadership of Deputy Director Dan Bongino and Director Cash Patel, finally cracked a case that had eluded federal law enforcement for nearly five years. The episode highlights both the investigation's successes and the failures of prior FBI leadership, emphasizing themes of institutional accountability, political reform, and media narrative missteps.
“You’re not going to walk into our capital city, put down two explosive devices and walk off in the sunset. Not going to happen. We were going to track this person to the end of the earth.” (11:41)
“The fricking car is registered to him. He was there at that time. The cell phone pings match up entirely. His biographical details down to the inch match up with the guy they were looking for.” (29:56)
“I don't know what the hell this prior leadership team was doing outside of, you know, targeting political opponents, weaponizing the FBI, destroying its reputation, and embarrassing agents... It’s almost like they were intentionally trying to decimate faith in institutions.” (36:24)
“This is, that's the blackest white man I've ever seen. That's unreal.” (39:00)
“We keep speaking in court when we can. We're gonna continue to show up to court and we're gonna continue to make people like Comey and Brennan and Clapper and Page and Strzok and so many others answer for what I believe are their acts of criminal conduct.” (43:23)
“This is chapter one of a 10-20 chapter book. This investigation is not over at all.” (46:29)
Vince, on skeptics:
“At some point, if you don't trust anybody, you're done with everything. If you don't trust anybody, you're just done with everything. You're leading a sad life at this point.” (13:14)
Dan Bongino:
“We were going to track this person to the end of the earth. There was no way he was getting away.” (11:41)
Dan Bongino, on FBI’s past failures:
“I don't know what the hell this prior leadership team was doing... It’s almost like they were intentionally trying to decimate faith in institutions.” (36:24)
Vince, mocking CNN’s Jake Tapper's reporting:
“That's the blackest white man I've ever seen. That's unreal.” (39:00)
Cash Patel, on prosecuting former officials:
“We’re gonna continue to make people like Comey and Brennan and Clapper and Page and Strzok and so many others answer for what I believe are their acts of criminal conduct.” (43:23)
Dan Bongino, teasing future revelations:
“This is a real deal criminal investigation. We're going to handle this the proper way... This is chapter one of a 10-20 chapter book.” (46:29)
Vince maintains a populist, combative, and sarcastic tone throughout, blending hard-hitting analysis with humor, media criticism, and audience engagement. He is particularly unsparing toward critics, the former FBI leadership, and political/media adversaries. The language is direct and often colorful, especially during rants and when skewering opponents.
This episode is as much a celebration of law enforcement (under new leadership) as it is a scathing indictment of political and media narratives that have framed major FBI failures as inevitabilities or partisan maneuvers. Vince calls for further investigation and accountability, promising more details to come as the wider investigation unfolds.
Listeners walk away with:
Useful for those who want to follow major federal investigations, understand power dynamics at federal agencies, and see how partisanship and media narratives collide in real time.
