The Wall Street Journal released a scoop claiming Trump sent Epstein a bawdy birthday message. It's about as believable as you'd think. Also: The White House addresses Salazar's amnesty bill and the president's health report comes back short of perfect.

Vince
Hey everybody, welcome to Vince on a Friday. And oh my goodness, am I reading this correctly? It's the 88th episode of Vince. You know what that means?
Frank Fugazi
We have to understand the adversary and the threat we're dealing with. And if we don't understand how they think, we'll never understand how to counter them. So it's little things and language and messaging that matters. The President said that we will fly our flags at half master until August 8th. That's eight, eight. Now I'm not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that's being demonstrated by the White house. The numbers 8, 8 are very significant in neo Nazi and white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter h is the eighth letter of the Alphabet. And to them the numbers 8, 8 together stand for Heil Hitler. So we're going to be raising the flag back up at dusk on eight, eight. No one's thinking about this.
Vince
No one's thinking about it. Nobody, nobody thought about that until Frank Fugazi thought about. Does that guy still have a job? Justin? Is he still on NBC? Do we know? I. I think he is. Justin, did you tell me four seconds before air that our guest canceled on us just now? Is that true? Okay. All right. Just verifying that, you know, you weren't trolling me. Our guest told us two minutes before air, and you told me four seconds before air. I'm not blaming you at all. I'm blaming. I'm blaming our guests. But I'm not going to chew the guest out by name because I do hope that that person comes back on the show soon. So we'll see. We'll keep it a secret for now. That's a good idea. Okay. We've got a really hilarious story breaking overnight yesterday. The the Epstein saga was mounting up again. And we saw Mark Halperin and a couple of other journalists say the chatter all around Washington, D.C. and in the media ecosystem is apparently one of the three major American newspapers is working on a barn burner of a story about how President Trump does have this awful, awful, unreported relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And it's gonna come out. It's gonna come out probably today, said Mark Halperin. And so you were wondering when and where would you find this thing? The idea was it was gonna be in one of the three newspapers, the Washington Post, the New York Times, or the Wall Street Journal. And sure enough, it was the last of those, the Wall Street Journal, that published, I think, one of the single most hilarious Trump scandals I have seen yet. The whole thing is completely absurd. I'm calling it doodlegate. It is that funny, what they published about President Trump. They allege, I kid you not, that 22 years ago, President Trump doodled a picture of a naked woman. And now it is the latest Trump scandal. He doodled a picture of a naked lady. This is the scandal we were waiting for. The Wall Street Journal. Let me take you through it really quickly just to give you a sense of how stupid this entire entire thing is. Jeffrey Epstein's friends sent him body letters for a 50th birthday album, one the Wall Street Journal flatly asserts was From Donald Trump. That's right. They say that there was a letter bearing Trump's name sent to Jeffrey Epstein, reviewed by the Journal. Now they say they reviewed it. Let me emphasize something. They don't publish it. There's no image of this, this supposed letter or whatever, this birthday card. There's nothing in the Wall Street Journal whatsoever about this. And they don't even bother to explain to you why they didn't put it in the newspaper. This is what you're supposed to do. If it's, if it's an actual act of journalism, you straight up say, here's the image because we're trying to tell you the truth, or here's why we couldn't publish the image because we're trying to tell you the truth. If you don't say either of those things, what are you trying to say? Exactly. They didn't bother. Here they are. They say the letter that bears Trump's name is body. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman. Do I have a sound effect for this? I think I must have it. I think I do. Here, let's see what this sounds like. How'd that work, Justin? Was that effective? Okay, good. All right. So there was a. There was a naked woman. It was a sketch. It was a sketch of a naked woman which appeared to be hand drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denote the woman's breasts and the future president's signature. And a squiggly Donald below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. Uh huh. Yeah. Okay. All right. So this is really crazy. The letter concludes, happy birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret. The President of the United States says, yeah, this is fake. In fact, this is. This is completely fake, everything about it. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal Tuesday evening, Trump denied writing the letter or drawing the picture. This is not me. The President says this is a fake thing. It's a fake Wall Street Journal story. I never wrote a picture in my life. I don't draw pictures of women. He said. It's not my language, it's not my words. In fact, the Wall Street Journal goes on to say that there was some sort of message that was included. I'm gonna read the message to you and you tell me if this sounds like President Trump at any point in his life ever sounding like this. Here's the message. It's not clear how the letter with Trump's signature was prepared. Inside the outline of the naked woman was a typewritten note styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein written in the third person voiceover. There must be more to life than having everything. The note began. Okay, already. Is there ever a moment where President Trump has tried to present a third person voiceover? Is that voiceover There must be more to life than having everything. DONALD yes, there is. But I won't tell you what it is. JEFFREY Nor will I, since I also know what it is. DONALD we have certain things in common. Jeffrey. JEFFREY yes, we do. Come to think of it, Donald enigmas never age. Have you noticed that? JEFFREY As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you. DONALD A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday. And may every day be another wonderful secret. Huh? So you're telling me that this is. This is Trump's language? Trump himself says in the statement, because this is not even how I speak. I don't write this way, I don't speak this way. Fellas, I think we need to get Sean Farish on the line or something. We got to get Sean, don't you? Don't you? Sean Farish. I want to hear Sean Farish doing a version of this so that we can hear it for ourselves, so we can actually be a judge of this. And because if Sean Farish can deliver this, and it sounds like Trump, it might very well be Trump. But I'm gonna venture a guess that Sean Farish presentation would convince you that this is Horsaki. The whole thing is, as the Vice President of the United States is calling this morning, complete bullshit. Yeah, it's like bad fanfic. It is an anti Trump fever dream written by somebody who was being a little too cute with how they were trying to go after the guy. Yeah, oh yeah, I know we're obsessing over Biden, sorry, Trump art now. But nobody obsessed over Hunter Biden's artwork. Epstein had a. Epstein had a painting inside of his house of Bill Clinton wearing the Monica Lewinsky dress with his legs straddling the side of an easy chair. And the artwork that we're obsessing over today is from Doodlegate. We don't get to see the artwork, we just get a Wall Street Journal subscription of it. I mean, description of it, rather. I need blackout coffee to keep me going here. It's amazing what we're dealing with. Okay, so let's take a look at what the Vice President of the United States is saying about this. Cuz he thinks this is all absurd as well. JD Vance saying the following in reaction to the story. Forgive my language, but this story is complete and utter bullshit. The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed for publishing it. Where is the letter? Would you be shocked to learn that they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe that this sounds like Donald Trump? No. No, I don't honestly. I don't honestly believe. Major. Where's Major, everybody? Come here, Buck, come here. Lie right here. Do you, Major. Do you believe this? Major? Lie down if you don't believe it. Yeah, Major doesn't believe it either. Major's. Major's not on board. He thinks this is. He's not. Major's not getting excited about this. Major thinks the whole thing is completely crazy. J.D. vance says it's bullshit. The President of the United States posting the truth. Social, that it's. It's time to go after the Wall Street Journal here. The Wall Street Journal, it and Rupert Murdoch personally were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter that they just printed was fake. And if they printed it, they will be sued. Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it, but obviously he didn't have the power to do so. The President says, giving him a little bit of grace, saying, sorry, he was just too weak, even though it's his company. The editor of the Wall Street Journal, Emma Tucker, was told directly by Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, and by the President, President Trump, that the letter was fake, but she didn't want to hear that. Instead, you. They went with a false, malicious and defamatory story anyway. So President Trump will be suing the Wall Street Journal, News Corp. And Mr. Murdoch shortly. The President announced the press has to learn to be truthful and not rely on sources that don't even exist. You know, he goes on here to point out that he's had success against George Stephanopoulos and ABC News, who lied about the President. They had to settle a lawsuit with the President of the United States. 60 Minutes in CBS, which just settled a lawsuit with the President of the United States. He's got a great run going here, suing these fake news outlets. And now he's adding News Corps to the list. And the Wall Street Journal saying this is a garbage story that was published by what he's referring to as a disgusting and filthy rag. Disgusting and filthy rag writing defamatory lies. He also says if there was any truth at all on this Epstein hoax as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have already been revealed by James Comey, John Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and so many others. This is yet another example of fake news on this point. This is what we've been saying throughout this saga. Of course, if the left was sitting on actually damaging information about the president, even concocted damaging information about the President while Joe Biden was occupying the Oval Office, they would have published this bad boy. The President said this morning, he added on Truth Social this morning, that if there was a smoking gun on Epstein, then this thing would have been published a long time ago. Why didn't the Dems who controlled the files for four years and had Garland and Comey in charge use it? Because they had nothing. Here's one of the ironies of that Post this morning. The Washington Post agrees, not forget the Wall Street Journal for a second. The Washington Post wholeheartedly agrees with the President this morning. They just ran a piece overnight. Everyone's, Nobody's really talking about the Washington Post piece because everyone's obsessed with doodlegate. But the Washington Post piece says that no credible allegation has yet emerged to even connect President Trump to any of Epstein's crimes. If the full file is ever released, the Washington Post says today, quote, we are confident that no connection would be found. Rest assured, if Trump were prominently mentioned, it would have been leaked by now. I don't know. Ladies and gentlemen, today might be the day to buy a lottery ticket. How did the Washington Post and President Donald Trump end up on the same page on this story today? Both of them, both of them flying in and saying, if there were bad, if there was bad news for Trump in any of this, it would have. I love that the Washington Post. It would have leaked by now. That's the Washington Post admitting that the Deep State. So has it out for Trump that this information would have been leaked probably to the Washington Post by now if it actually existed. I just, I can't get enough of this. I, I did find, I wanna share with you. I did find I have an exclusive of my own this morning that's probably worth knowing about. I did share it to X, so if you'd like to see it there as well, you can. Here it is. Breaking exclusive. I've obtained a message that Donald Trump once sent during a very important business meeting in Trump Tower. It appears that he wrote on a Casio calculator, 80085. Now, I'm not precisely sure what that means, but my understanding is that that is a very specific message. And now that this information is out, it may be very damaging to the President. I really hope he does not sue me for this, but I do feel like my integrity dictates that the world needs to know about this. It's a very big deal. It is. It's a very. It's a very big deal. So just, look, I don't feel good that I have to tell you this, but I feel a sense of duty and obligation to tell you the truth. This is a rough one. This is a rough one. Okay, so the President locking horns with the left again on all of this stupidity. He is suing the Wall Street Journal right now. We have some reaction this morning already from a bunch of these news outlets who think, who are reacting to this. Even they are saying that the Wall Street Journal story is stupid. Here's Chris Cuomo. Cut three. Over on News Nation, Chris Cuomo saying this story is utterly meaningless. Listen to this.
Chris Cuomo
He says he didn't write the birthday letter that they're ascribing to him to Epstein for his 50th birthday. I mean, it's so stupid. Okay, The Epstein story is about abusing kids who didn't have the power or agency to do anything about it. That rich and powerful people may have known it was going on and they.
Brendan Dilley
Got away with it.
Chris Cuomo
That's the story. Okay?
Vince
Yes.
Chris Cuomo
It's not that Trump liked a scumbag. Okay? Now I get that in the media. This is great because it's bad for Trump and he's going crazy and he's going to pump and move the story for the Wall Street Journal right now by saying it's fake and it's wrong, but it doesn't move the needle in the country. It's going to make you some money, Rupert. Great for you. Just what you need. But this is why we can't get anywhere. The guy says, I didn't write the letter. The letter is meaningless. You put out the piece anyway. And there's no light on what really matters.
Vince
It's true. He's totally right. Let's pause it for a moment. That the letter was authentic like that, that this was something that President Trump wrote again, what would the scandal be in the midst? He sent a birthday card to the guy. Oh, he doodled a naughty sketch. That's really the whole ball of wax, by the way. The letter is, was sent allegedly 22 years ago. That predates any of the legal jeopardy that Jeffrey Epstein rightly found himself in for the abuse of girls. That it. This was years before any of that. And the President, I will remind you, has acquitted himself really nicely in the Epstein saga. What did President Trump do in the midst of all of this? Well, let's see. He kicked him out of Mar A Lago for sexually harassing the daughter of a member of the club. So he banished Epstein. That was back in, let's see, 2007. He banished him. What else? Oh, that's right. The attorneys who represented the victims of Jeffrey Epstein said that no one was more helpful in their case to go after Epstein than President Trump. That Donald Trump was the guy, the one guy who picked up the phone and said, tell me what you need. I, I'll tell you everything. I know the President helped in every way that he possibly could. That's not my words. That's what the Epstein victim attorneys said about the President's contributions here. So, you know, again, like even the Washington Post has arrived at this point where they're like, there's nothing bad out there. If there was, it would have leaked. Even MSNBC was disappointed last night when the Wall Street Journal story broke. And you weren't impressed by it. They were very bummed out. Take a look. Here's cut four.
Major
With this new revelation, going to be certain that Donald Trump was part of the deep state here. Become highly suspicious of him, potentially turn on him. We are just within minutes already getting an indication that that is not the direction that this is going already. I can quote from Megyn Kelly on X right now. This is the dumbest attempted hit piece I've ever seen. Then Elon Musk, someone who's been at odds which with much of this group lately, has said, yeah, the letter sounds bogus.
Vince
Even Elon, Elon says, you know, Elon is not really friendly with President Trump right now. He's like, this letter sounds completely bogus to me. Elon. The media keep gleefully pointing back to. Remember when Elon was spazzing out and he was like, Trump's in the Epstein files. As if he would have any capacity to know something like that. And then he deleted it and said that he regretted his behavior. And so the media keeps pointing out, well, Elon told us he's in the Epstein files. Well then he deleted it, but he probably still believes it. And now Elon saying this whole thing seems like a hoax. Yeah, cuz it is. President Trump fighting back another hoax. I've got some updates for you, including on the transparency that the President is offering because the president, he said, enough with this. In fact, I'm releasing everything I've got details on that coming up in a moment. What a great Friday. So funny those things. So stupid. Hey, do you think about aging at all, about getting older? This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Yes indeed. How we feeling today, Chat? I can't believe, I can't believe we've got, what is it, booby gate going on? Is that what we're calling it? I kind of like doodle gate. I think that's really good. Really? I just, I was belly laughing last night. I called producer Jim like right away. I said, you got to be kidding me. I thought that they were going to come loaded for bear. They. I thought there was going to be something. I mean even if it's a full blown hoax, I thought it was going to be a lot more splashy than this. Oh, he, he doodled a naked lady once. Okay, that's wonderful. That's wonderful stuff. The President announced overnight that not only is he suing the Wall Street Journal now, he's also instructed the Attorney General of the United States to produce the entire grand jury testimony in that anything they can really in the Jeffrey Epstein saga he wrote last night based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein. I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent grand jury testimony subject to court approval. This scam perpetuated by the Democrats should end right now. So, look, this is. So this brings us to the end of a week where there's been all this consideration. What's the President gonna do here? You know, how can he be more transparent on this issue? What can he get out? The President has said all week long to his credit, that anything that's credible within the Epstein files that the government's holding onto should be released and that the Attorney General should do it. And now the President's saying, not only that, I've asked the Attorney General to approach the court today and get as much grand jury testimony out as possible. So to remind you, a grand jury is where all of the initial evidence is presented, and then a grand jury makes a decision about whether or not to bring an indictment against Jeffrey Epstein. So we're talking about really important allegations against Epstein that were presented to this grand jury that have never before been shown to the public. The President is asking the Attorney General, get this stuff unsealed, make that official request to the United States government. And Bondi is responding instantly. She said she is on this thing. President Trump, we are ready to move the court tomorrow. That is today, Friday. She released this last night to unseal the grand jury transcripts. So that's good. That's good news. And it goes back to the point that I've been making throughout all of this, which is, look, this is a guy that I'd vote for a thousand times over if I had the opportunity. I love what we've got here. I love that we've got a roaring economy. I love that the tariffs are bringing in a lot of money to the Treasury. I love that wages are outpacing the rise in prices right now. I love that our border is as dialed in and as secure as we've seen in the entire history of our country. Not overstatement at all in recorded history. Our border is now the tightest it's ever been, which is really great news. And lots of illegals are being deported to the chagrin of the left that desperately wants more illegals to not only stay, but to come to our country. It's just been. It has just been fantastic. It's been a great run so far. And breaking open the transparency of the corrupt. Breaking open the sins, rather, of the. Of the corrupt elite through transparency, it's just a massive deal. So I'm grateful that the President is staying on this case because it matters a great deal. And there you have the Attorney General saying, yeah, we're gonna release this thing. One more thing for you here on Doodlegate. While I'm on the subject. The Wall Street Journal is making a very big deal about what the President says is a complete hoax of a story about President Trump at one point allegedly doodling a naked woman. Again, silly already. Did the Wall Street Journal ever spend any time on Ashley Biden's diary? You know that diary? The diary where she says that Joe Biden, her father, showered with her and caused all sorts of sexual trauma to her as a result of that? Look at this from the the ALX X account today. Sharing this. I thought of it, I punched it and I'm like, yeah, the Ashley Biden diary. And sure enough, this ALX account is sharing it helpfully. And here's what the Ashley Biden diary said. Hypersexualized at a young age, she wrote. At a very young age, she wrote, showers with my dad. Probably not appropriate. She said, this right here is authentic. There is no question about the authenticity of that. That's real, actually. In fact, it's so real that that Snopes, the fact checking operation, the left wing fact checking operation, they eventually had to come out and change their rating. They had previously said that it was unproven. Unproven. Here it is. Fact check posts. Claim contents of Ashley Biden's diary have been verified. Here are the facts. The claim. A diary authored by US President Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley Biden describes showers taken with her father when she was a child is probably not appropriate. Rating true, Snopes says. On April 29th of 2024, Snopes changed the rating of this fact check from unproven to true based on testimony provided by Ashley Biden in an April 8 letter to a New York judge requesting jail time for one of the two people convicted of stealing her diary, Biden wrote, quote, I will forever have to deal with that fact that my personal journal can be viewed online. In other words, that's confirmation that it's real. And it's awful. It's completely awful. And yet crickets from our media on the then President of the United States and what he did to his own daughter. Nary a mention to be found. In fact, the only real coverage of this that we saw was attacks on the people who exposed it, on the people who obtained and shared the contents of that diary. That was it. That was the way the media treated this story. Other than that they didn't want to tell you what the contents of that diary were. That is a far more consequential presidential scandal than whatever hoax the Wall Street Journal is participating in now. And yet nothing. Nothing from the Wall Street Journal. Probably, probably worth remembering exactly how these guys handle these stories and what they do tell you and what they don't. Coming up in a moment. We do have a great guest joining us. I am very excited to have him. He'll be here in a moment. It's not the same guest we expected. Our original guest canceled on us two minutes before the show started. Majors changed positions ever so slightly. He's. He's hanging out. All right, let me see here then. Before we get to our guest, I have. What do we have? Well, I do have Stephen Colbert getting fired. That's kind of fun. Speaking of the media. Yeah, let's do that. So Stephen Colbert just got canned, and he announced it on the show yesterday. Guess who his guest was for the show where he announced that he's getting canned? He's. It was Adam Schiff. Adam Schiff, who has spent his entire career trying to get Trump canceled, succeeded in getting Colbert canceled. I love that. That's one of my favorite details about this story. Here is CNN instantly. Well, let's actually, let's start with Colbert announcing. Let's. Here's Colbert announcing that his show is being canceled. Cut to.
Stephen Colbert
Oh, hey, everybody. We got a great show for you tonight. Senator Adam Schiff was my guest. We harmonized on Seven Bridges Road. What a voice. I cried. But before we start the show, I want to let you know something that I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending the late show in May. Yeah, I share your feelings. It's not just the end of our show. But it's the end of the Late show on cbs. I'm not being replaced. This is all just going away.
Vince
They're just destroyed. They're just getting rid of it. They're scrapping the whole thing. They're like, actually, this was such a disaster. We can't resuscitate this show. It's been so damaged by your presence. We've got to get rid of it. Just imagine. Huh? Weird. Why are they canceling your show? Who is your guest tonight? It must be a huge ratings draw. No, it's Adam Schiff. Okay, well, that would explain it, actually. If it's. If it's Stephen Colbert and Adam Schiff sharing a television screen, it's no wonder they have to cancel the show. CNN is upset. They think it's a political conspiracy. They. They don't think it has anything to do with the bottom line, or at least very little. They think Trump did this. Take a look. Cut 7.
Scott Jennings
This looks to a lot of Colbert's fans like another form of capitulation by CBS to the President United States. If you look at Colbert's Instagram page, already his fans are pouring their hearts out and blaming CBS for this. Here's the reporting that I have just in the past few minutes, Anderson, about this financial explanation. Think back to 2023, when the late Late show with James Corden went off the air. I reported at the time that that show had become unprofitable, that CBS was not able to sell enough ads to make that so profitable. Well, that is now the case for Colbert as well. I'm told by a source close to the network that the Late show that happen is now technically unprofitable. So that does give the company a financial reason to end the show starting in May 2026. However, it's not as if there was given a chance to take a pay cut or maybe change the format of the show or move out of the Ed Sullivan Theater. This seems to chance all at once. And it comes on the merge on the. On the verge of that big Paramount Skydance merger. Who's taking over Skydance? Larry Ellison, a friend of President Trump and his son David.
Vince
Yeah. So you know what that means. It's Trump's fault. Trump did this. Trump ruined Colbert's career. It couldn't have been that his ratings were in the toilet and that he thought Adam Schiff was going to be a big ratings and revenue draw. No, it has to be Trump's fault. It's Trump's fault.
Cory Booker
Trump.
Vince
Trump just snapped his fingers and he got him canned. Really? If Trump could do that, why hasn't CNN been shuttered entirely? Why isn't MSNBC just been completely shut down? If that's. If Trump has this magic power, it can't be that you're just an abysmal failure who roots on left wing garbage and is not funny. That that infamous clip of Stephen Colbert dancing around with COVID jabs in order to convince you that you should get one. There was nothing amusing about it. It was just sort of pathetic. Lick spittle, state controlled media, water carrying. So people tuned out. And when you tune out, you don't get the advertising revenue and we don't get the advertising revenue. You, you really shouldn't exist anymore. You go the way of PBS and NPR panhandlers begging for taxpayer assistance. Luckily, President Trump ended that this week too. That ended overnight. That ended npr, PBS being defunded overnight as the House finally passed the rescissions bill just in the nick of time. It had to be done by today and they pulled it off. I'm grateful for that. All right. I'm also grateful that our next guest is pinch hitting today and he's great. It's been a while since I've seen him and I'm glad he's here on the 88th episode of Vince, which of course means it's Frank Fugazi Day. Brendan Dilley joins us right now, the host of the Dilley show on Rumble. Great guy. Hello, Brendan. Good to have you with us, sir.
Brendan Dilley
Hey, how you doing, Vince? I'm, it's an honor to be here with you.
Vince
It's cool to have you on Fugazi Day 2 of all days. It's amazing that, that you could be here for this. Actually, the last time you and I saw each other was in the Silverlock Studios, the Dan Bongino studio, as we were doing the big handoff special and Dan was just announced that he was heading off to the FBI. That was a, that was a big day. And I still, I think a lot about that day.
Brendan Dilley
Yeah, it was a, it was really a special day because we knew he was heading off for a totally new adventure. And I would say that the first four or five months has definitely been an adventure.
Vince
Yes, yes. So we saw this Staga play out in the media like a week or so ago where, oh, Dan is squaring off with Pam Bondi and there's an ultimatum that's been issued and he may leave if she doesn't. And yet the way it settled up in the end is Dan is clearly back at work. He's plugging away. He's doing the job. Brendan, give me your thoughts on what do you think Dan is up to. If he's, you know, he's not doing this right now, why is he doing that?
Brendan Dilley
Yeah, well, I think he's. He's working really hard on some. Some very important things, and it's probably not the thing that most people are focused on, which is a lot of this Epstein stuff. I think that. I think, you know, it's kind of a side conversation from the reality inside of the FBI and the doj. There's far more important cases. Certainly anything involving James Comey, John Brennan, anything involving the 2020 election and in election fraud in general are going to take, you know, extreme precedent over this sort of side conversation. I think this one just happens to be the thing that is most interesting because it had the most probably conspiratorial interest over the last 10 years. And some of it's probably very true, and some of it's probably complete fabrication. And the sad part is, given that whatever our FBI got their hands on was inherited from the Biden FBI, I sincerely doubt there's going to be much of anything that actually comes of it just. Just because of that. Like, if there was anything there on the president, obviously they would have already pursued it and released it to the public. And I doubt that they're going to allow anything to stay in those files that would implicate any of their own people. So I think it's a big nothing burger, frankly.
Vince
Yeah, the old. The old work from the Biden era. FBI is gonna. Has to be immediately suspect anything that they have in their possession or don't have in their possession. It's just. It's gotta be a complete mess. So what they're dealing with now is what do they do going forward? So I have a. I have a hunch about this, and you mentioned Brennan and Comey. I'm in the same space as you are on this thing. Look, I just wanna reiterate a point and get your reaction to it. Dan Bongino does not leave this gig to go to the FBI for any personal advantage whatsoever. There's no resume enhancement that comes from this. There's no pay raise that comes from this. There's no great quality of life that comes from this. There's nothing glamorous about this job. That job is a hard and relentless job, actually. So the only reason a man like Dan does that job is because he thinks he can achieve some sort of measurable and detectable success from the rest of us. When you say going after John Brennan and James Comey now you've got my appetite going. I, I feel like it could be that very much.
Brendan Dilley
Yeah. No, and you're absolutely correct, Vince. This was a man who sacrificed. He. He made a legitimate sacrifice by every measurement. Right. Sacrificed time with his family, sacrificed financially, sacrificed fame, because he's no longer in front of the public every single day doing what he loves. So this was someone who, who felt called to serve and, and went and did just that and is trying to get to the bottom of the weaponization of our FBI and other intelligence agencies. Obviously, John Brennan is extremely suspect. And, you know, these guys aren't going to stop until they get to the bottom of things. And it doesn't mean that it's going to be what maybe all Trump supporters hope it is. It could be something totally different. But that's really all you can ask for is, is get to the bottom of it. Find the truth of whatever the issue is so we can begin addressing it and making sure it never happens again. And I can live with that. Whether it means somebody like James Comey ends up finding himself, you know, being criminally investigated and, and actually being put behind bars, or if it's discovered that he did some things that are inappropriate, but he. It's not illegal, I'm okay with that, too. I just want to know what the truth of it is so we can remedy the situation and make sure it never happens again. And I think Dan's going to do that. And, and he has been doing that. I mean, it's. It's absurd to watch people think that there's some gigantic boogeyman that when a person like Dan or Cash or President Trump gets into power, somehow pulls them aside and says, you're not allowed to do what you came here to do. It's absurd. And the President proves that every single day, and so do. So do Cash and Dan, frankly.
Vince
Yes. And actually, on that, on that front, if you're interested in pedophiles getting busted and thrown behind bars, this FBI has arrested hundreds of them, and they've saved hundreds of kids, too, in the process, and that continues to happen. And they deserve credit for that, because if that's your issue, boy, they're delivering for you. No question. Let me get your reaction to the Wall Street Journal doodle gate thing from overnight. I just went through it for the audience. But as I understand it, the Wall Street Journal piece is that 22 years ago, President Trump is alleged to have Doodled a picture of a naked woman. Brendan, your reaction to this breaking news?
Brendan Dilley
Vince, I. I made my own doodle last night, like, being funny, and then it went, like, super viral, and then these other big accounts were sharing it, and I was like. I was, like, cutting and pasting and drawing because it's such a ridiculous story, the entire thing. It's actually incredible to me that somebody hit send and publish on that article knowing. Knowing, like, Trump's gonna own you, man. There's easier ways to sell Donald Trump the Wall Street Journal than simply giving it to him by defaming him with the most absurd story I have probably ever seen. And. And yet they did it. And. And then. And now they're saying today that they don't even actually have the letter in question in their possession. So this is looking like secondhand information that they didn't even actually possess. And then they published it. And I'm stunned.
Vince
I can't wait for part two when we find out that President Trump used a Sharpie and wrote inside of a bathroom stall. Call Rosie for a good time. You know, that's gonna be a real barn burner. Unreal that they've even published that. I saw this morning. Susan Crabtree had a really fascinating connection in all of this, too. She said, and, fellas, if you don't mind taking me full screen on this so I can. To show everybody. Susan Crabtree said the following. Trump's the Wall Street Journal. One of the Wall Street Journal reporters who broke the story alleging that Trump wrote this letter to Epstein for his 50th birthday. The reporter worked for an outlet called Main justice before he worked at the Wall Street Journal. Main justice was Glenn Simpson's wife's publication. Glenn Simpson founded Fusion gps. That's the group that was paid by Hillary Clinton and the DNC to make the Steele dossier. And so, just to compound all of this, Brendan, like what. What we have now is Susan Crabtree has dug up really quickly that this is connected to Fusion gps, too. There's a Fusion GPS connection to this stupid story.
Brendan Dilley
You literally couldn't make this up if you tried, Vince. It's so poorly executed. And then the fact that it all leads back to the same places that came up with the same ridiculous stuff we've heard for nine years. Eight. Nine years now, and they're still pushing it. And it's. It's really odd to see two, Vince, because the people that are involved in this, this sort of effort to smear the president haven't evolved at all. And yet the public has so what? A smear that used to maybe kind of catch some, get some, you know, legs in 2016, in 2017, in 2025. It's debunked within hours. And you're being mocked relentlessly.
Vince
Yes. We're all so much more literate now, aren't we? I mean, in terms of media literacy, like, we're all dialed in. It was like, I. I can smell the BS coming off of this thing a mile away. The second you see things like he's using the word annoying enigma to describe whatever. And like. And just the poetry of it. It's like, Trump doesn't talk this way. I don't know about you, Bren. In fact, I do know about you. You and I have spent so long watching this guy speak. We've spent so long listening to him speak. I've read so many transcripts with his words. Never once did they ever appear in a sequence that looked like the stuff that the Wall Street Journal just published.
Brendan Dilley
No. And you know what's interesting about that, Vince? To your point, language is like a fingerprint. A lot of people don't realize that is there. You're not going to have that much variance in your life, over the course of your life in how you phonetically put words together and how you describe things and how you lay them out. This letter that they're asserting was written by President Trump is a total outlier from thousands, hundreds of thousands of notes and letters. We all have access to view, including me. I have one. I have three different letters from President Trump, and none of them even remotely resemble what this. This letter looks like. And. And I've. I know several other people that have received notes and letters from him. This is not how he speaks at all. It's not even in the same realm. And I, again, I sit back and I'm astonished that somebody actually said, let's publish this.
Vince
Yes.
Brendan Dilley
Knowing what the consequences of that were going to be.
Vince
Yeah. So you will. You alluded earlier in the conversation, Brendan, to the fact that there's been some division on the right about, you know, getting Epstein files out. And this is the. Since this. The intensity with which we should be focused on that issue. And so there's been a fight within the family. People have been talking about. Are they taking different positions on it? That's fine. But I wonder if you think the left has overplayed its hand in the midst of all of this, because you got a bunch of Democrat congressmen all of a sudden, for the first time in their lives, pretending like they're interested in the Epstein files. Pramila, Jaya, Paul and Jamie Raskin going on television going, we want the Epstein files. And then even CNN is asking them, are you serious? MSNBC is asking, are you, are you serious? You've never mentioned this before, ever. And they're like, oh, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, we're, we're totally serious now. And my sense of what just happened, Brendan, is the left, rather than letting the right fight it out, they so overplayed their hand that now the right is once again closing ranks. And they're like, we know who our real enemies are. We're going to fight the left again. We're done with this infighting.
Brendan Dilley
Correct. And this is what the left always does. They're, they're the absolute kings of overplaying their hand and totally destroying themselves. And they did it yet again. All they had to do was really sit back and leave it alone. They have no wins. You know, they're pulling 19% among Americans or something really crazy low. You know, they have nothing to, to hang their hat on. They've got Cory Booker crying and storming out of hearings yesterday, like, there's really not any energy for that, that party or that movement. And what happened was, and I, and I figured this out fairly quickly the last three days is they were taking Trump supporters posts and then they were dropping them onto Blue sky. And then what they were doing is they were having all those Blue sky accounts come back over to Twitter or X and they're pretending to be Trump supporters that are saying, we want this and they're demanding and they're unhinged and they're weird. And so in their minds they're thinking, yeah, we're going to pile on, we're totally going to get Trump and we're going to pretend to be. And it just completely backfired yet again. And now here we are.
Vince
Wait, so, wait, so they were astroturfing responses?
Brendan Dilley
Yes.
Vince
In order to inflame the debate. I'm sorry, isn't that what they said the Russia collusion hoax was? Yes, that there were AstroTurf interjections in order to screw up the American debate. Gosh, it feels, it's so crazy.
Brendan Dilley
No, and that's what they do, Vince. It's such a small minority now that you figure they're dropping it into these, you know, these chat rooms or whatever on, or, you know, these forums where, where it's, it's a few thousand people. It's not millions, it's a few thousand people. And they hang out all day on social media. And they're like, okay, we're just going to AstroTurf and make it look like there's this huge Trump division. And, you know, the dead giveaway is, Vince, is when the public perception, if you just use social media, is, wow, there must be some kind of schism going on. And then the polling comes out, and the reality is America is supporting President Trump more than ever, and he's up in the polls in the last week. And that's where you have that, that split, where you go, okay, this is an astroturf campaign because the polling is reflecting what real Americans are saying. And social media has now diverged because they are astroturfing and trying to skew public opinion.
Vince
Yeah, that's right. And also, like, it's so low IQ to say that just because somebody disagrees with the President on one issue means that they're abandoning him entirely. It's like, no, it's not at all. In fact, one of the things I like about the right is that we engaged in much more nuanced debates than the left does. They're like, they're so cultish on the left. Meanwhile, like, a lot of people that I know, like, yeah, they want full transparency on Epstein, but they love Trump. They love what Trump has done, and they still support him wholeheartedly.
Brendan Dilley
Well, you know what, the dead giveaways to Vince for that. In that regard, I think you can always tell somebody that is genuine in their support of President Trump, but maybe wants more information or is pushing back slightly on certain issues, because the way they go about it is very respectful and inquisitive versus the ones that you can tell are sort of gritting their teeth and don't like him. They become, I think that they get very vitriolic very fast. And. And they are. It's just a different approach. And it's, it's, it's nuanced, but you can recognize it. You can tell who is genuinely trying to get to the bottom of something or find out a solution versus people who are really trying to play nice with MAGA because they know that they don't have a brand without it. And, and there is a lot of those people as well. They're gritting their teeth and they're just hoping he goes away eventually because. Platform back.
Vince
Yeah, no, I, I'm on guard for that. People who hold their nose have contempt for maga, but sort of sing the hymn just because they want to pretend like 100. Pretend like they're a part of it. I don't like that. Brandon Dilly, you're a good man and it's great to see you again. I hope I get to do that again sometime soon.
Brendan Dilley
You as well, Vince. Thank you for having me, man.
Vince
There. There he is, Brendan Dilly, the Dilly show, the Dilly Meme team, They're, they're staying busy, grateful that he's, he's with me today, you know, on this, on this point that everything is that the numbers are good for President Trump. Here is Scott Jennings on CNN last night. Scott Jennings, who always is in a room full of poisonous air. He is the breath of fresh air here. He is saying, look, Trump's approval rating is only going up. Take a look. Cut.
J.D. Vance
Five facts of Donald Trump's base are this, and we reported on this this morning here on cnn. Since the Epstein business started, his job approval among Republicans has gone up. He's over 90% with Republicans. It's not hurting him with his base. I know you're a Democratic strategist, maybe not an expert on the MAGA base, but look what's happening. He's gone up. Why? Because while we're all sitting here dealing with this nonsense out in real America, he's signing legislation on fentanyl. He's talking about the AI future in Pennsylvania. He's securing the border.
Vince
Big beautiful.
J.D. Vance
So his numbers are going up with Republicans. This is a fantasy that Democrats have been engaging in since January that Republicans would abandon Trump.
Major
It's not happening on Democrats.
J.D. Vance
Everybody listen to a Democrat tell me Republicans don't support Trump.
Vince
And they do, and they do. Isn't it nice to hear some truth break out on one of those panels from time to time? Scott Jennings, I just, we were talking, as always here on the team, we were talking about, you know, guests for shows coming up. And I said, you know, I want, I want Scott Jennings to come on the show. We'll have to talk to Scott so hopefully he can do it and hopefully CNN doesn't throw shit if we have him on, which it would be good. It would be nice to talk to Scott because I don't know how he goes in there and does that all the time. Yet he does and he stays cheerful. Scott has executed a move that is rare in television, by the way. He knows how to work the camera. A lot of people go on these TV sets and they don't, they don't know, you know, that like when you're sitting in a panel environment that you can actually draw the audience in, like instantly by just taking your, taking your shot and then Looking directly at them and being like, look what I'm dealing with. Look what I'm dealing with over here. Scott does this flawlessly. It is. It's. It's a real talent that the guy's got. But, yeah, I think he'd be good. You want him on the show? Chat Scott Jennings. Yeah. Getting some positive feedback on that. I think that'd be good. He would be an awesome guest. He seems like a good dude. I've never met him, but I'd be grateful to talk to him. That would be good. You heard Brendan Dilley a moment ago talking about how meanwhile, in the midst of doodlegate and everything else, the President's agenda is moving forward really nicely. In fact, the president yesterday just got a one of his judicial nominees advancing through the Senate not all the way to a final vote yet, but it created rage inside of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday by the Democrats as they were completely feckless, they were completely impotent to try and stop this. So instead they stomped their feet in anger and they stormed out of the room. And they left Spartacus behind to try and interrupt the whole process. Take a look. Cut six as there's chaos in the Senate yesterday. Democrats can't stop this train, sir.
Cory Booker
With all appeals to your decency, with all appeals to your integrity, with all appeals to past jurisdiction and pass precedent. Why are you doing this? This is outrageous.
Vince
This is a kangaroo court. That's what we have here. This is wrong.
Cory Booker
To violate your own rules without going by the mandates of the parliamentarian. This is unbelievable. There's a way to do this. If you want to force this through, if you want to ram this through, there's a way to. In accordance to the rules as spelled out.
Vince
Theatrical walkout.
Cory Booker
It is simple. It is clear. There's a pathway to achieve what you're trying to achieve.
Vince
Speaking of cult like behavior.
Cory Booker
But sir, this lacks decency. It lacks decorum. It shows that you do not want to simply hear from your colleagues. This is absolutely wrong.
Vince
Unreal. Well, it's typical. It's typical. The Democrats all storm out, you see crazy Maisie Hirono get up and just yell something into the microphone. This is unfair. This is awful. No, it's not. This is the way it works, sweetheart. You lost. You don't have the power. You can't run this thing. Shit. Yeah, we are. We're completely done with it. And here's the other thing to remember. It didn't have to be this way. Guess who blew up the filibuster in order to make it so that judicial nominees could be put through on a simple majority. Who did that? Who did that? Oh, that was Harry Reid, Senate Democrat, who blew up the filibuster for that, invoked the nuclear option to say that you only need a simple majority vote to get these judicial nominees through. Thanks, Harry. President Trump is doing it. He's doing it. And now crazy Maze Arono and company is storming out of the room incensed that the President of the United States has this power. Who gave it to us Democrats. Thanks. Thanks a lot, fellas. How you doing? Worked out great, man. I hope you have the greatest fricking weekend ever. And I appreciate you all being here. We've got a big radio show coming up today. It's the Vince show, we call it. This one's called Vince. That one's called the Vince Show. It's not the most creative thing in the world, but it's easy to remember. It's easier than my last name, the VIN Show. And if you want to find out more information about your local listings, you can do that atthevinceshow.com. find out where to listen there. Or really simply, if you want to join me live with a video camera. And perhaps Major, who is. He's still in the room somewhere. Oh, he's changed positions. He's not on camera anymore. You can kind of see him in the. The lower right corner of my screen here. Let me see. There he is. He's. He's down. He's down there. There he is. Major's having a good time. You can join me live on the radio show rumble.com Vince as well. Again, I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Such a blast. Thanks again to Brendan Dilly for pinch hitting today. It was great to talk to him. And it would be great to talk to you again next week on Vince. Have a fantastic weekend.
VINCE Episode 88 Summary: "The Media's Hoax On Epstein, Trump, And A Birthday Card?"
Release Date: July 18, 2025
In the 88th episode of VINCE, host Vince Coglianese delves deep into the controversial intersections between media narratives, political figures, and unsolved mysteries surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and former President Donald Trump. This episode, titled "The Media's Hoax On Epstein, Trump, And A Birthday Card," offers listeners a comprehensive analysis of recent developments, media critiques, and political maneuvers.
The episode kicks off with Vince acknowledging the milestone of the 88th episode. He references Frank Fugazi's provocative statement regarding the significance of the number "8,8," suggesting it symbolizes "Heil Hitler" within neo-Nazi circles.
Vince expresses skepticism about Fugazi's credibility, questioning his employment status and the validity of his claims.
A significant portion of the discussion centers around the Wall Street Journal's alleged story connecting Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein through a dubious "birthday card." Termed by Vince as "Doodlegate," the story claims Trump drew a naked woman in a letter to Epstein.
Trump vehemently denies these allegations, labeling the story as fake and defaming.
Vince critiques the Wall Street Journal for not providing tangible evidence of the alleged letter, emphasizing the lack of transparency and accountability in their reporting.
The episode highlights various reactions to the "Doodlegate" scandal, showcasing skepticism from both political allies and media personalities.
Vince underscores the absurdity of the allegations, comparing them to past media conspiracies and emphasizing the media's tendency to perpetuate unfounded stories.
Vince shifts focus to a more substantial media oversight by highlighting the lack of coverage on Ashley Biden's diary, which contains sensitive allegations against President Joe Biden.
He criticizes the media for ignoring significant stories while fixating on trivial or fabricated scandals.
In a surprising turn, Vince discusses Stephen Colbert's abrupt announcement of his show's cancellation during a guest appearance by Adam Schiff, insinuating political interference.
Vince interprets this move as retaliation against Colbert's political affiliations, drawing parallels to perceived suppressions by political adversaries.
Brendan Dilley, host of the Dilley Show on Rumble, joins Vince to discuss the broader implications of the Epstein files and internal right-wing dynamics.
They debate the legitimacy and impact of the Epstein-related investigations, with Dilley expressing skepticism about the depth and authenticity of the allegations being circulated.
Vince and Dilley also touch upon the internal strategies of the left, suggesting orchestrated efforts to sow division within conservative ranks.
As the episode wraps up, Vince reflects on the resilience of Trump's support base despite ongoing scandals and media scrutiny. He emphasizes the importance of media literacy and vigilance against unfounded allegations.
He concludes by highlighting the administration's continued legislative successes and the commitment to transparency in unfolding investigations.
