Everyone's dying. Everyone's dying. And you know, so it's not just Bernie and aoc. Elizabeth Warren is warbling. It's going to die. No. You know what's dying right now? Any chance that Democrats will ever appeal to voters again. That's the only thing that's dying. Your political ambitions are dying. It's a death by suicide. You guys are an idiotic political party and they're wielding the, the, the Chicken Little talking points, you know, running around with their heads cut off. Everybody's gonna die. The whole sky is falling. Okay, sure, whatever. Nobody believes you. Nobody trusts you. And that's why the American people are siding with President Trump on this one. It's, it's been remarkable. You know, did you see that? That in the midst of all of this, that the, the White House very smartly, they, they posted, they've been posting on all of the government websites that the, all of the, all of the official government websites that the government is shut down because the Democrats have sold out the American people. You know about that? It's pretty great. Take a look at this. Let me see if I can pull this up for you. For those of you watching rumble.com, vince, here is an example. This is the State Department has this up saying due to the Democrat led shutdown, website updates will be limited until full operations resume. We got another one. This is hud Housing and Urban Development. The radical left in Congress shut down the government. HUD will use available resources to help Americans in need. We got another one. The Department of Justice Democrats have shut down the government. Department of justice websites are not currently regularly updated. Please refer to the Department of Justice's contingency plan for more information. And then the Department of Agriculture says, due to the radical left Democrat shutdown, the government website. This government website will not be updated during the funding lapse. President Trump has made it clear he wants to keep the government open and support those who feed fuel and clothe the American people. I love this. Just, just absolutely rub it in their stupid faces that they shut the government down. And I brought this up yesterday. I'm not sure if I brought it up on the podcast or the radio show, but I'll reiterate it here. Regardless that you remember, this is like when Obama shut the government down in 2013. He tried to blame Republicans for it during that government shutdown phase. And the way that he did it was in a very, very cruel way. He was hurting the World War II veterans. And here's how he did it. He shut down the World War II memorial. Do you remember this? 2013, Obama shuts down the World War II memorial. He barricades the whole thing. And then World War II veterans had to sit in their wheelchairs with their World War II veteran hats on outside of the memorial with these barricades up, blocking them from getting access to the memorial built in their honor. So he was hurting them, theatrically hurting World War II veterans. And then. And then. So a bunch of them had to sit outside the memorial for a short time. The end of that story, which ended up being wonderful, is that The World War II vets, they decided, well, to hell with that, they moved the barricades and they went into the memorial anyway. They went in anyway. They're like, no, we're going in. Which was. Which was wonderful news. God bless them for doing that. You know, these are the guys who stormed the beaches of Normandy. I think they can get into their own memorial. Obama's not going to stop them. So, yeah, so that's. That was. That was really nice to see back then, that they did it. Really awful, though, that Obama did that. So compare and contrast, if you will. You get President Trump who points out that the Democrats have shut down the government, just on government websites, saying, hey, you want the government back open? Tell the Democrats to open it back up again. That's who we're waiting on. And then Obama, in order to try and convey some sort of political damage on Republicans. Hurt World War II veterans. Hurt World War II veterans. I think we have a real study in contrasts here. And I know who I prefer. I like President Trump a lot better. I like that he's fighting for us and he's telling the truth. So this is, this is what's going on. We've got, we've got the. The left is just making stuff up, saying that people are going to die due to the shutdown that they, that they started. And then JD Vance now has to explain very carefully, slowly and carefully, so that everybody can understand it. The Democrats are lying through their teeth right now about the fact that they're fighting for illegal aliens. Make no question about this. Democrats are fighting to give your tax dollars to illegal aliens right now. Here's the Vice President of the United States explaining this very carefully yesterday. Cut four.

This is a Democrat talking point. They say we're not actually trying to give health care benefits to illegal aliens. And here's why. It's not true. There are two Biden era programs that explicitly gave the taxpayer health care money to illegal aliens that we turned off when President Trump took over in January. Program number one is there's a lot of emergency health care at hospitals that are provided to illegal aliens that was funded by the federal government. We turned off that funding because, of course, we want American citizens to benefit from those hospital services not to be taxed, and then to have those hospital services go to illegal aliens. The second of which is the Biden administration gave mass parole to millions upon millions of illegal aliens, and then they simultaneously made those parolees eligible for health care benefits funded by taxpayers. So it's not something that we made up. It's not a talking point.

It's preposterous. Okay, let me put a finer point on what you just heard the Vice President so eloquently explain. One, emergency room usage by illegal aliens involves taking Medicaid dollars. Two, parolees. These are people who illegally crossed our border. And then the Biden administration said, well, well, you're welcome. Anyway, now you have parole status in the United States of America. They have been taking Medicaid money. The left are lying about this. This detail. They've millions upon millions of people imported by Biden who came into the country, crossed our border illegally and then claimed, I need asylum, I need to stay here. Okay, fine. You're being granted parole. They're being given millions. They've been given Medicaid funding. That's just true. That's around 3 million people who've been given that status. That's illegal immigrant health care, illegal alien health care paid for by these Democrats. That's what Democrats are fighting for and then paying for by taxpayers. And then finally, there's one more detail that J.D. vance did not lay out in that Fox News appearance, but he did add to this morning. This is what I told you yesterday. There's a concept with money called fungibility. Right? Fungibility. In other words, if I give you money for a specific purpose, that frees up the money, you already have to spend it on something else. That makes sense. So here's how JD Vance describes it this morning. He describes it really well on X this morning. He said it's important. Money is fungible, he writes, and it's why the Democrat and the Democrats and the media are lying that health care is not going to illegals. And it's so preposterous. He said, consider, for instance, two state Medicaid programs, Ohio and New York. New York gives Medicaid to illegals. Ohio does not. New York's a blue state. Ohio's a red state. When the government gives billions of dollars to New York for Medicaid, this frees up state money in New York that can't. That can now be spent on illegals. It's like if you give a mobster 100 bucks and he promises he's not going to spend the money to buy a gun and commit a crime, but he takes the hundred dollars you gave him and he buys food, and then he takes the money that he would have spent on food and uses that money on the gun instead. This is what money is fungible means. By the way, this is the same argument that we use against Planned Parenthood. It's like, why we give taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood. They're like, we're not spending it on abortion. We just spend it on all of our other operating costs. Wait a second. If we're giving you money for operating costs, that frees up all the money you have to kill babies. Why are we subsidizing that? Money is fungible. The vice president is pointing out. Additionally, the vice president says because medical services are limited in supply, when an illegal access is health care, it drives up the cost for everybody. So New Yorkers are paying a higher price for medical services and the federal government is subsidizing those Higher prices. So everybody in the media, from George Stephanopoulos to Jake Tapper, are repeating these same Democrat talking points and they're engaged in a Democrat propaganda war. Democrats shut down the government to give health care money to illegal aliens. It's really that simple. That's the Vice President of the United States this morning pointing this all out. So we get. So illegals get money in three ways. From, from the feds, from, stolen from you, from Democrats, emergency room services, parolees who were improperly given a legal status by the Biden administration even though they are illegal aliens. They came into our country illegally. And then the third way is because money is fungible. The more money we give to the blue states, the more they can then take from their state taxpayers and give it to illegals and they'll drive up health care costs in the states. Now, as I said yesterday, I'll reiterate now, today, this is a blue state bailout is what they're fighting for. They shut our government down fighting for a blue state bailout. They loaded up their healthcare rolls with illegal aliens. Donald Trump cut off the spigot and said, no, no more money for you. And now they're trying to figure out a way to pay for the disaster they've created in their own communities. So they're trying to fleece you, the federal taxpayer, in order to bail out their out of control blue states. That's what's happening. I've got a lot more ahead on the program. All right, so I just told you all the ways that illegals are taking your money and the way that Democrats are trying to make that happen right now, they shut down the whole government to make that happen. Here's Jake Tapper yesterday on cnn, trying to gently and dishonestly ask Hakeem Jeffries about this. And Jake knows the truth here. Pay attention in this audio. Jake knows what the truth is that illegals are have been taking your money. And he's still trying to suck up the Hakeem Jeffries. Listen to the weird exchange that these two men have. But they talk about the provisions and it's right here. Subtitle E. And this has to do with the repeal of health care subtitle changes. And specifically, what it is, how they characterize it, is you want to give health insurance to undocumented immigrants. I understand that's not really an accurate depiction, but what it does do is it's a lie. It's a lie. But what you support does bring back funding for emergency Medicaid to hospitals, some of which does pay for undocumented immigrants and people who don't have health insurance. Did you hear that little exchange? So Tapper starts telling him like, hey, why are you paying for illegal aliens? And. And then Hakeem Jeffries, the dial up Democrat, goes, that's a lie. And then Tapper responds, yes, it's a lie, but it's not a lie. You are trying to give money to illegals. And Hakeem, for those of you not watching, he nods along. What in the hell was that exchange? It's not a lie. It's true. You are trying to give our money to illegals. And Tapper just laid out at least one of the details supporting that and then pretended. And then to suck up the Hakeem Jeffries was like, oh, yeah, no, totally. The Republicans are lying, dude. Jake, just try telling the truth. It's refreshing, man. It's. It's infectious. You start doing that, maybe you'll start doing it more. It's going to be great. It's going to be really great. Give it a whirl. Because you got. You had that guy dead to rights and you let him off the hook. That was embarrassing. Don't do that. What else do we have here? Oh, Hakeem Jeffries. Dude, Hakeem Jeffries is like, he's such a ridiculous human being. No wonder that he got the sombrero treatment this week. He was asked yesterday during a congressional briefing, press briefing, hey, you know, a lot of people are not getting paychecks right now because of. Because of your government shutdown. The troops are not getting paychecks right now. Guys. Air traffic controllers are not getting paychecks right now. Your own congressional staff are not receiving paychecks right now. So will you, Hakeem Jeffries, as you. As you listen to this, the question might be a little hard to hear. The first question is, are members of Congress going to forego their paychecks during this period? Are they going to stop taking pay, you know, in solidarity with all these other federal government employees who are not receiving money right now? Are you going to stop taking pay? And then the reporter specifically says, you, Hakeem Jeffries, are you going to stop taking pay? Listen to his squirrelly little answer as he refuses to stop taking your money during this period that he caused. So there's been several members of Congress that have asked Phil Keith withheld, if his shutdown expense. Do you advise Democratic members to do that, or is it up to them? Yeah, that's a question that every individual member is going to have to make on their own, as has always been the case in the past. Will you withhold yours? First of all, that question is not even a ripe one because we're anticipating that this shutdown issue will be resolved. That's not a ripe one. That's not a ripe. The last question was, are you going to give up your pay during this period? No. No, I'm gonna keep taking 174,000, whatever the number is. I don't know what he gets specifically as the leader of the Democrats, but these. These members of Congress, they get $174,000 a year, you know, on top of whatever sort of insider trading deals the rest of them are all engaged in. Not all of them, but enough of them that they become, you know, Nancy Pelosi rich over that time period. It's amazing how rich these guys become as. As public servants. But Hakeem Jeffries. Oh, no, I don't want to talk about that. I don't want to talk about giving up my paycheck. What? Dude, you're forcing the troops to not get paid right now. Screw you. Drop your pay. We should drop your pay. However that can be done. It's ridiculous. A ripe question. Yeah, so. So, yeah, no, he's not giving up his pay. Is the is the summary to that? Not going to do that. What's going on there? To what extent are Gavin Newsom's political ambitions taking his focus off of Actually helping your state become better in any way.

Well, he's making everything worse. So apart from the obvious things that everyone can see, right, the squalor, the chaos on the streets, the that, the homelessness that's so out of control and not getting better, you've got behind that things that aren't so visible if you don't live here. Unemployment rate in America, in California, can't afford basic needs, the highest cost for everything that matters for housing, electricity bills, gas prices, water, all the most expensive in America. The worst business climate, you know, it's just a total failure. He's the most useless governor in America. I've used this term. I saw it as an event, a MAGA event, and I just saw a big MAGA sign there. And it occurred to me that the right acronym for Newsom is Mugger. The most useless governor in America. He starts running for president for real. I will be the governor of California and I'm going to make sure as I'm clearing up the mess that he's made, the whole country knows what a total disaster Newsom is. And don't let him anywhere near the White House to make America as bad as California is now in terms of outcomes.

Let me ask you about the crime problem in your state. Right now we're witnessing a massive discrepancy in a lot of ways between the Republican led states and the Democratic Democrat led states. The Democrats by and large are refusing to cooperate with the President of the United States to bring about a peace in their cities. Places like Los Angeles continue to have a violence problem where the President has tried to intervene, but Democrats, including the mayor and the governor, have resisted him. Places like Chicago, in Illinois, a Democrat mayor, Democrat governor, they're resisting the President. They're trying to stop him from helping that community. But then you look at a place like Tennessee, where in Memphis right now, the Governor there, Governor Lee is welcoming the President of the United States in. They're making arrests in Memphis. The community of Memphis is very grateful to have the President helping them out. What will it look like? So should you be victorious here? What's your plan to try and bring about a peace in cities like la? And to what extent would you cooperate with President Trump to do that?

100%, including on immigration enforcement as well, which is one of the great scandals where you've got, you know, again, we have the worst problem in terms of the scale of illegal immigrant, illegal immigration in the state, you know, and it relates obviously to the healthcare issue. That's related to the government. Shutdown but in terms of crime, what you're seeing is a model, actually, for how I would deal with it here in California, because we've got the same principle. We've got local law enforcement and leaders not doing their job, like Karen Bass in Los Angeles, who I saw last night outrageously gaslighting everyone, saying, oh, in Los Angeles, crime is dramatically lower. That's her word. Dramatic. It's a joke. No one thinks that everyone can see it. It's just getting worse and worse. So I would not only work with the federal government and take advantage of any resources there, but use state law enforcement resources in order to step in and deal with crime when it's not being dealt with by local leaders like Karen Bass in Los Angeles. The other point is, as governor, I would reverse Newsom's closure of state prisons, which has released tens of thousands of dangerous, violent criminals into the community, or into local county jails that are completely overcrowded. So you don't have. You have basically catch and release at the local level. All that I will reverse through increasing prison capacity. So it's going to be a massive change when I'm governor. We're going to have tough on crime, just as we're seeing at the federal level. And what the administration is showing, as with the border and all these actions, if you just have common sense, strong leadership, you can make a difference. Very quickly.

Yeah, yeah. Okay. Talk to me about the government shutdown, would you? Because what we're witnessing right now is Democrats have shut the government down. They're trying to. They're trying to fight to restore medical expenditures for illegal aliens. They want to take American taxpayer money and give it to illegal aliens. They're claiming that that's not happening. But you live in a state where this is a very real experience. So you live in a state where there's a lot of illegal aliens who are taking taxpayer money. And it seems to me that California Democrats, including and especially Gavin Newsom, want more Medicaid dollars coming to the state in order to subsidize all of these illegal aliens. What am I getting wrong about that?

You're 100% right. And just let's just note yet again, the Democrats, I don't know what's wrong with them. They keep taking these positions that are so obviously insane and indefensible. Just not that long ago, they were siding with that wife beater, sticking up for the wife beater, illegal immigrant criminal. And that's. That's supposed to be, you know, the great stand.

And here they are again now defending something that the vast majority of Americans thinks is outrageous, which is their money going towards people who shouldn't even be here in the first place. California is an example of why they're lying. They say they don't want this, and it's all made up. No, Gavin Newsom in California has officially introduced, not even hidden. He put a line item in the budget. And even this year in his budget, where there was blowback even from Democrats about the scale of this, he pretended to, to limit the benefits that illegal immigrants get in terms of health care in California through our version of Medicaid. He increased the budget. And here's the number. It's over $12 billion in California spent on free health care for illegal immigrants. And so the idea that they're not for this is a joke. We can see they are. And also it's the point about, they keep going on Democrats about, oh, community hospitals closing. Why are they closing? Because they are overrun by, with illegal immigrants taking the, the getting in the.

So here's paid for it. Here's my impression of this. And I said this earlier in the show. I've been, I've been saying this, and the vice President's been expressing this as well. It seems what's happened here is that Democrats, especially in a state like California, they imported a lot of illegal aliens. They just brought a lot of people into the state. And up until the Trump administration, they were using federal taxpayer resources to subsidize what they did to our country. And then when Trump cut them off, now they've got massive expenditures that they don't know how to pay for without fleecing federal taxpayers. So what we're witnessing right now is a blue state bailout. That's what they're attempting to push for. Because your state is overrun with illegal aliens now you have massive expenditures piling up. And if, and if federal taxpayers aren't going to shoulder it, it's going to be stuck onto state taxpayers, which California, you're already paying ridiculous taxes to begin with. So it just looks like they created this disaster and now they're asking the rest of us to pay for it.

100%. Correct. And in fact, there's even more They've created all these ridiculous taxes. There's a provider tax, which is all a completely manufactured gimmick in order to extract more federal money for the bailout. Exactly, as you put it, for the massive expansion of all sorts of services, not just health care. You look at the schools as well, public schools. I mean, I'm on the road the whole time in California and you just hear story after story in communities where everything is overwhelmed by the scale of the illegal immigration, that they're not just allowed, but encouraged. And it's just people have had enough of it, including in California. And so this is a very, very strong argument as part of my campaign that we're just going to stop this kind of ridiculous spending that means that Californians just don't get the services they need. And as you say, we have, as a result, the highest taxes in the country.

Let me end on one other element of illegal immigration that we probably need to spend more time on. But I know California is afflicted by this. Gang problems in California are immense. There's huge problems with illegal alien gangs in California, and there's also huge problems with the drug cartels operating in in California practically with impunity and without any meaningful consequence. You have grow operations for drugs in California that are just getting away with literal murder in a lot of cases. How big of a deal is this for your state?

And I see it all the time. A couple of weeks ago, I was up in the northern part of the state where it's a massive issue with the cartels, both Mexican, and you've got Chinese operations there as well, stealing water to grow illegal weed. And as you say, there's the massive explosion of crime. I'm in Los Angeles right now. I was just speaking with a pastor last night who's working on the streets in what he describes as the world's center for human trafficking in Los Angeles, where you've got a three mile stretch of a street where every night you've got the gangs trafficking young girls. Nothing's being done about it because the California legislature passed a law that meant that LAPD can't actually do anything. So you're resorting to church leaders trying to do something about it. It's disgusting what they've allowed to happen. And at the same time, these Democrats lecture us about compassion and social justice and all the rest of it. I mean, they are totally out of control. That's why I'm very confident, despite people thinking, oh, California's never going to change, I'm very confident that we will Win this election next year when people see that we just can't go on like this in California.

Okay, let me, the chat is asking a couple of questions and that came to mind. And I just, I'll finish with this then. I said I would finish now. Now I really finish with this one. California has ballot harvesting in its elections. Will you be using that to your advantage in order to win this race? And then, and then two, and of course, will you, will you try and get that changed? And then, and then two, if you don't win the primary, will you be committing to support the Republican, whoever that is?

Oh, 100%. I mean, we got to have change in whatever capacity. We have to have change in Ghana. I love this state. I raised my family here. I've started a business here. I'm not giving up on California. One way or another, we're going to bring about the change. I'll be there fighting that. In terms of ballot harvesting. Yes, we've got to, whatever we think of these things, if they are the rules and we got to use the rules to win. One important thing though, that I want to highlight to everyone, there's a ballot initiative about to start collecting signatures for voter ID in California that is going to be huge. If we get that on the ballot for next year, it's going to help us massively flip the state because it'll help us with the turnout we need because there are enough Republican voters in California for me to win next year. We just got to get them out. And voter ID is going to be a big part of motivating people to come out next year and vote for change.

Glad to have him here. We were, we were just talking a moment ago about what's going on in Memphis, Tennessee. And that's where I want to take you next because we've got a success story that's worth dwelling on here. Memphis is a very violent place. Very, very violent place. And as, as I've been advocating here on this program, I was looking for the president to not just try and go into these blue states but instead to go into red states with these violent Democrat run cities. And he did that. The president announced recently that he was going into Memphis and this week we are seeing the fruits of that Labor. In the first few 48 hours of the Trump administration's presence in Memphis, we already get these results. There's Todd Blanche from the United States Department of Justice saying on X that, quote, memphis has the highest violent crime rate in America, and already more than 150 murders this year. Broken bail and failed local leadership have fueled the crisis. In just two days, at the president's direction, the Memphis Safe task Force made 53 arrests, including 12 illegal aliens, and seized illegal guns. This is how we make Memphis safe again, and we won't stop until every community in America is safe. All right, so that's just in 48 hours, 53 arrests. There's a lot more to do, of course, in a place like Memphis, but it is underway. And as proof of the Trump administration's commitment to Memphis, we get a big press conference yesterday that included the Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, as well as a bunch of top Trump administration officials. Here is Governor Bill Lee doing what every single one of these Democrat governors should be doing, which is thanking the President of the United States for the offer of help, accepting it and cleaning up their cities. It's not every day that you get the Secretary of War showing up in your community, but it's a sign of the seriousness of the Trump administration. He was standing alongside the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi, who was there, and he was also standing next to Stephen Miller, one of the top officials in the Trump White House, who. That guy's electric. He's. He wakes up every day, his wife just said recently, obsessed about America and trying to save her. And here's Stephen Miller giving, I think, one of the speeches of the week. We've had a couple of them. Earlier this week, Pete Hegseth gave an amazing speech to all the generals and the admirals, which I think is phenomenal. The officers that see sitting in front of me, we are about to provide you with a level of support you cannot even imagine. This isn't just a task force. We are sending in real cops with guns and badges to go out with you on the street every single night making arrests. These are people who have taken down drugs kingpins, the worst criminal offenders in the United States, standing with you shoulder to shoulder to shoulder. All we ask from you is to show up at roll call every single night with your brothers and sisters in the federal government and to go out and get the criminals off the street. And if you do that, I pledge to you, we will liberate this city from the criminal element that has plagued it for generations. This is not just a strategy shift. This is an attitude shift. So you get that gentleman standing there with his dark MAGA hat, Democrats destroyed Memphis. And then the CNN reporter, which, you know, he was trying to figure out, what do I do about this? This guy's in my camera frame. So I was like, all right, well, let's just talk about that. He's here. Here's one guy who thinks that it's great. We turn your sign around. Go ahead. And when he does, he turns his sign around and says, thank you, President Trump. Thank you, President Trump. Now, it didn't have to be this way. It didn't have to be this way. You know, you could have a sensible bail program in that state. You don't have to release all these criminals back onto the streets in no time where they can inflict more damage. You can actually defend the people of your state. You could demonstrate that if someone calls 91 1, that the cops will actually show up, place the bad guy under arrest, and then that person is not back out on the street in no time. You could do that. It would make the city safer. But Democrats didn't. Democrats have sold out the people of Memphis. They've sold out the people of la. And it was, I think, in the moment we were in, in preparing for that. And quite honestly, we did not prepare for him to be more cordial. The expect he wasn't read was that he would do the false attacks and do some of that, and they didn't. So I'll give them this. They were well prepared, but my goal was try and find, you know, getting there. And I'm saying, you know, we all want to fix immigration, but you're doing, you know, you're doing the dogs and cats stuff. What we're talking about is fixing the system, adjudicating, you know, asylum claims faster. That was viewed as me trying to find common ground and, and the teacher in me. And this is nervous tick or habit that we have. When you're a teacher, when someone else is speaking next to you, you instinctively listen and try and listen. And that was viewed as, and the Vice President took it, took it that I was agreeing on some of the things that were a personal attack on her. And it wasn't that at all. Because when the teachers are in any other ones, like, that's really interesting. It's dumb as hell, but it's very interesting. And, you know, I was doing that.
