Vince
Hey, everybody. Welcome to events on a Thursday. So good to have you with us. We're just under 24 hours now away from launching the 250th year of our great country's history. Isn't that great? Isn't that wonderful? The 250th year is gonna begin tomorrow, July 4th, Independence Day. I hope you have great Independence Day plans to celebrate the country. And I'm going to get into how the President might spend it, which is to sign into law a big, beautiful bill as we speak this morning on the live show. Rumble.com. vince? Yeah. We are moments away, perhaps, from getting an actual piece of legislation across the finish line and onto the President's desk. We are going to keep an eye on all of this right now as we are launching the show today. Hakeem Jeffries is still wasting everyone's time. Look at it. Look at this guy. Holy cow. He's still yammering on and on and on, just not shutting up, just going.
Hakeem Jeffries
Forever, standing up on behalf of the American people. It should be a hell no vote.
Vince
Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness.
Hakeem Jeffries
Mr. Speaker, these are the words of.
Vince
A slow speaking human being. Those are the words of a very slow speaking human being. He's awful. Anyway, we'll keep an eye on that. Hakeem Jeffries still yammering, and all he's doing is adding votes to the big, beautiful bill, which is wonderful. We've got a big show ahead for you today. Before we get to all of that, I have to thank ExpressVPN for sponsoring the program. You know, what you do online, it's not private. It's not private. I'm telling you, people are watching what you're doing on the Internet, and frankly, it's none of their damn business. They should stay out of it. Data brokers are tracking creating a profile of your online activities, and in the United States are legally allowed to sell that information to whoever wants to buy it. But there's a way to push back and hold onto your values, your autonomy, your freedom. And that's with ExpressVPN. ExpressVPN is so easy to use and so much better in terms of protecting your privacy. 100% of my online activity is rerouted through secure, encrypted servers, which makes it impossible for my Internet provider to know what I'm doing online, because, again, none of your business. ExpressVPN also hides your IP address, so data brokers can't use that number to build a profile on you and then sell that profile. And best of all it's easy to use. It takes just one click. And ExpressVPN works on all of your devices. You can have it on up to eight devices at once. So you can give the gift of privacy and freedom to your whole family. It's pretty great. And it is very easy to use. I just keep it on screen and if I want to turn it on. Boop. Right there. Just hit the on button. You're in right now. You can get an extra four months for free when you use my special link. Go to to expressvpn.com Vince and get four extra months of ExpressVPN. That's E x p r e s s vpn.com Vince he's still going. He's just. He's just yammering it away. How did Hakeem Jeffries become. How, how did that happen? This guy is like a make a wish recipient who ended up as leader of the House for the Democrats. And they never took it away from him. They never told him it was only supposed to be for a day. Here he is. He's still going and going.
Hakeem Jeffries
This bill needs more work across chambers.
Vince
What a goofball. And so. And they replaced him.
Hakeem Jeffries
Ready?
Vince
They've been, sorry, they've been replacing the people behind him because they keep falling asleep during this stupid thing that they're calling a speech. That's the magic minute. He's been going for hours trying to delay the big beautiful bill. And the end result to all of this is he's only accruing more support to the big beautiful bill. That's the actual impact here. Which has been really funny because JD Vance said this morning that he got a text message from a Republican congressman. This was just about an hour ago.
Paula Scanlon
And.
Vince
And he said I was undecided. The congressman said I was undecided on the bill. But then I watched Hakeem Jeffries performance and now I'm a firm yes. Isn't that fun? So. So Hakeem should just keep going because all he's doing is creating yes votes for the big beautiful bill. Thank you to Hakeem. There he is. Let me tell you what happened overnight last night because obviously as we start this morning, the big beautiful bill still getting debate not yet passed. And that's because there was a lot of arm twisting going on all night long with Republicans to get them all fully on board. And here's the good news. There was a test vote on all of this last night to advance the bill. And all of the Republicans, all of them, to include Thomas Massie voted in the end, yes on this thing. So that's great news. In Massie's case, there was definitely some arm twisting going on to get him there. He changed his vote a couple times, but in the end he was a yes to advance the bill overnight. The only person, though, the only person to vote against this thing was a Republican congressman from Pennsylvania. Brian Fitzpatrick voted against it last night. And I don't know if I'm Brian Fitzpatrick, that is not the place you want to be. You really want to be the one Republican to vote against the big beautiful bill right now. And this is what's interesting is Brian Fitzpatrick yesterday was complaining, he was bitching over the fact that the Trump administration decided to protect US Weapons stockpiles instead of emptying them out for Ukraine. That's the big news this week. The media's really bothered by this. They hate that we're slowing down weapons shipments to Ukraine. But the Trump administration said, guys, our stockpiles are running out. We need these weapons for our own defense. It is insanity to continue to dump out our entire supply into Ukraine. We're not doing that. We're gonna slow down the distribution of these weapons. And so Brian Fitzpatrick yesterday started freaking out about this. He thinks this is an awful thing. So he sent a letter to the President of the United States, and he said that he called on the President to address his, quote, serious concern regarding the US Withholding critical defense material pledged to Ukraine. This comes as Russia launches the largest aerial assault since the war began. Yada, yada, yada. He's formally requesting an emergency briefing from the White House. So, Brian Fitzpatrick, this is the Congressman from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is bitching about the fact that we're looking after our own national security here. He becomes the only no vote among Republicans overnight against the agenda that you definitely voted for. And what does he think is going to happen next? Well, I've got bad news for him. Consequences seem to already be on the way. This is what I love about conservatives these days. Everybody's just ready to fight right away when necessary. Here you have Scott Pressler saying in the early hours this morning, yes, I'm aware that the Congressman, Brian Fitzpatrick, just voted no on the big beautiful bill. Message received. CC Bucks County. Scott Pressler, of course, in Pennsylvania, and he did a lot to add alongside a lot of other great conservatives, a lot of great Republicans did a lot to help President Trump win Bucks county, to increase voter registration there. So Brian Fitzpatrick is going to have a real problem on his hands if he ends up being a no Vote on final passage today for the big beautiful bill. Is Hakeem Jeffries still speaking right now? Is he, is he still going at this? Yeah, he's not shutting up. He's still going. He's, he's unreal.
Hakeem Jeffries
By Donald Trump's one big ugly bill.
Vince
Oh, he, oh my gosh. And he speaks slowly because he thinks slowly. That's the, that's the issue there with. I call him the dial up Democrat. His brain operates on a 28k modem. Things move very, very slowly for Hakeem Jeffries. Okay, so you get this guy Fitzpatrick voting against the bill last night, and so now consequences are on the way. But even prior to that big beautiful vote that took place last night, the President of the United States was applying all sorts of pressure on these guys to get them across the finish line. Take a look. Here is the President of the United States last night on truth Social saying, guys, these are the largest tax cuts in history and a booming economy versus the biggest tax increase in history. That's what Hakeem Jeffries is standing up for and a failed economy. So what are the Republicans waiting for? What are you trying to prove? Maga's not happy. It's going to cost you votes. That's right. Brian Fitzpatrick, take pay attention to this. The president pushing really hard here. The president also adding for Republicans, this should be an easy yes vote. Ridiculous. Stephen Miller, who's brilliant, he's at the White House, he posted overnight that here we are ten years after that trip down the golden escalator. We've got members who are actually thinking about voting against this bill. It's gonna build the entire border wall. It's gonna fund mass deportations, it's gonna triple the size of ice. Oh, and it includes massive tax cuts and welfare reform. This, this Stephen Miller says this is the kind of opportunity once lost where people look back centuries later and ask them how the moment to save civilization was allowed to pass by. Miller, write about this. This is such an unusual moment. This is a generational opportunity to get something really good done for the American people without Democrats, like the dial up Democrat Hakeem Jeffries even being involved. You know who, again, all he's doing is running his suck as we speak. There he is. Yeah, okay. So that's the pressure that the White House placed on Republicans last night. It paid off. It paid off. These Republicans advancing the big beautiful bill and you know, these Democrats, what I'm showing you, Hakeem Jeffries, it's just absurd how they're trying to cook up any sort of opposition to this whatsoever. And I, and I think it's time for a fun little game. Are you ready to play this chat? Let's play a game here. It's time for America's Cringiest Democrats. Let's do it. That's right. And let's meet our contestants. Of course, we do have the slow talking. Hakeem Jeffries, who as we speak, is doing his ridiculous magic minute. But yesterday he was insisting that everyone is going to die. People are going to die. Take a look. Cut one. Here's ridiculous Hakeem Jeffries.
Hakeem Jeffries
And as a result, people are going to die. Connected to this one big, ugly bill. Tens of thousands of unnecessary American deaths per year. Shame on Republicans for even bringing this bill to the House floor.
Vince
It's ridiculous. The party of death wants you to know that Donald Trump is going to kill everybody. That's. That's Hakeem Jeffries. Hakeem Jeffries, whose party kills a million babies every single year. And they just do that for sport. That's not even. There's no real purpose to that. That's just sport. A million babies every single year. The party of never ending wars. The party of complete chaos. The party of standing up for murderers, the party of standing up for illegal alien gangsters who rape and kill American citizens. That's right. Hakeem Jeffries wants you to know he's very serious about all of this, that if this big, beautiful bill gets passed, everyone, and I mean everyone, is going to die. We're all going to die. That's what Hakeem Jeffries wants you to know. Because obviously that's serious political debate. That's a legitimate policy dispute. That's a sign of when you're winning, when you say that the other side is going to kill everyone, everyone is going to die, says Hakeem Jeffries. So that's. That's hilarious. Also, there was this moment yesterday on Hakeem Jeffries social media. They shared an image of him looking like a microwaved Derek Jeter. Have you seen this? Take a look. Here he is holding a baseball bat. Holding a baseball bat. And the. The message that he posted to Instagram is, House Democrats will keep the pressure on Trump's one big ugly bill. Look at. Speaking of big and ugly. Holy cow. What is this supposed to be? Is it, Is that. Is that a threat, ladies and gentlemen? Hey, Chad, is that a threat? The guy's holding a baseball bat. He's got. What do you got no other options here. How about just present a better vision for the country. How about tell us how Democrats could actually do something for the rest of us instead. Holding a baseball bat, taking a picture and posting it to social media. There he is, microwaved Derek Jeter, just, just covering himself in glory. So that's so Hakeem Jeffries with an early front runner for America's cringiest Democrat. Also, we've got a guy in Congress, a Democrat by the name of Tim McBride. He pretends to be a woman from Delaware. He's the congressman from Delaware. He pretends his name is Sarah and then he insists that everyone call him Sarah McBride. And he gave a big speech yesterday about the big beautiful bill. And again, just to really reemphasize something here, this is a man pretending to be a woman. And he swears, he swears he's telling you the truth this time. Take a Look. Here's Tim McBride. Cut to. Do they even care? Every yes vote shows very clearly that they don't. This, this bill is trickle down cruelty and people will die because of it. Thank. People will die. Thank you, thank you. And I'm definitely telling you the truth this time. Says a man whose entire personality is a lie. It's amazing. It's truly amazing. So Tim McBride, that's his contribution. He was hoping to be considered America's cringiest Democrat. And chat, you know, keep track of this. I want you to tell me who you think the cringiest possible Democrat is here at the end. I'll crown a victor based on audience response. Let's see. Nancy Pelosi would also like to remind you that she's still alive. Shows she was spitting over her dentures yesterday. That fighting back against the big beautiful bill is equivalent to throwing a punch for the children. In fact, I think she meant to say she was throwing back a punch for the children. Here's Nancy Pelosi. Cut three.
Nancy Pelosi
Dr. King nearly 60 years ago said, of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and the most inhuman because it often results in physical death. We come to this floor with a moral force of Dr. King's words in our heart. Let us not, with this bill, turn the American dream. He talked about in a nightmare for America's seniors, the disabled. Our children. Our children. Our children. Let us vote no on this shameful bill and throw a punch for the children.
Vince
Gentlemen's time is expired. I think she, I do, I do. I think she threw back a punch, a spiked punch for the children, you know, and she got, she got up there and she, she just rambled because that's what all the Democrats have been able to do is ramble. They've got nothing. They're totally feckless and limp wristed in this fight. There's no way to stop it. So they say things like, everyone's gonna die. Let's throw a punch for the children. And the rest of us say, you guys are ridiculous and thank God you're not in power right now. That's a, that's a really, a really good thing. So there's Nancy Pelosi, who was inebriated on the House floor yesterday. Of course, no good cringy Democrat competition would exclude this congressman from Maryland, Jamie Raskin. Jamie Raskin chat. You're tracking this, right? The cringiest Democrats. Keep whoever it is that you'd like in your mind right now. Jamie Raskin made up. They don't read the actual Constitution, but Jamie Raskin made up a fake corny preamble to the big beautiful bill yesterday. Here he is, cut for Jamie Raskin, pretending like this is a part of the bill. And he wants you to take him super seriously.
Jamie Raskin
Gentlemen. Mr. Speaker, I found the preamble to this big ugly bill. We the billionaires in our king in order to deform and sicken our union, establish injustice, ensure domestic servility, weaken our people's defenses, undermine the general welfare and reserve to ourselves and our posterity staggering debt servitude for eternity. Do hereby instruct the Republicans in Congress and to strip 17 million people of their health care, increase co pays deductibles and premiums for everyone else, cut 42 million people off of nutritional assistance, increase the national debt by $4 trillion, trash renewable energy systems, increase our electric bills for the carbon kings.
Vince
He's going for it, Jack.
Jamie Raskin
And destroy the constitution of the people of these United States of America.
Vince
He's going for it. By the way, Jamie Raskin. There is no way that he'd ever be able to cite the actual preamble to the Constitution. Not a chance. Not a chance. If I stopped him in the hallway, what's the preamble? He would have no idea. He wouldn't be able to. So he gives you some chat. GPT. Written cringy chat. GPT. Help me attack Republicans by rewriting the preamble to the Constitution as demented preamble to the big beautiful bill. And that's what it pops out. And that's what Jamie Raskin is reading. The only thing I'll say for him is I think that immediately puts him near the front runners for the cringiest possible Democrats here trying to fight back against this bill. Just ridiculous. Jamie Raskin, a clown. Always a clown. He should have wore the do rag. You ever seen Jamie Raskin in the do rag? He should have wore the do rag for that presentation. Just. He looks like Prison Mike. Remember Prison Mike from the office? Yeah. That's what Jamie Raskin looks like in a durag. Like a silly man. Like a very, very silly man. Speaking of silly men, Eric Swalwell has released a series of social media videos in the last 24 hours where he sounds like he's practicing swearing for the first time in his life. Like he's never said a curse word ever, and he's summoning the courage to do it. Let's. Let's go through some of these ridiculous social media videos. Here's Eric Swalwell. Cut five. Again, practicing some cursing.
Eric Swalwell
Hey, Congressman, what's going on?
Vince
What the fuck is up with JD Vance saying losing health care is immaterial?
Eric Swalwell
Immaterial to who? You know, the biggest question is, who would vote for this bill and why?
Vince
That's. By the way, that was take 13. He had to keep walking past that camera. Hey, Congressman, why the fuck is blah, blah, blah. Okay, okay. So they put cursing in the video. And then in some of these other videos, Swalwell himself finally starts cursing. This is big. Here he is. Cut six.
Eric Swalwell
Why would anyone vote for this big bullshit bill? I just got back to D.C. the Senate passed it. It actually took J.D. vance to pass it, who said, by the way, that the cuts are immaterial. Well, we're gonna talk about that in a second. So why the hell did this thing pass? Who wants it? Why in the world?
Vince
All right, so Swalwell, there he is. I don't know.
Eric Swalwell
Crazy idea vote.
Vince
Wearing his silly pink and blue hat. Help. Practicing cursing. That's all right. And I've got one more for you. Here's Swalwell once again in the last 24 hours. Cut 7. Attempting to curse on camera.
Eric Swalwell
Vote right now on big bullshit bill.
Vince
Such a tool, this guy. But he's a tool. He's a total tool. All right, so that's Eric Swalwell's contribution. Guys, I'm telling you. Do we not have the craziest the competition going ever right now? Let's try this one. Pramila Jayapal. She's a ridiculous human being. She claims that random airport strangers have been walking up to her, just walking up to her in the airport. They just walk right up to her and they. They embrace her as if she would allow a random person to touch her, she would. There's no way. And they've been crying on her shoulder. They've. They've been embracing. They've just been crying over the big, beautiful bill. Here's cut eight. Pramila Jal.
Pramila Jayapal
I just can't emphasize how. I mean, I'm getting calls and in the airports, people come up to me when they recognize me and they're sobbing on my shoulder because they know that so many people, whether it's people who are delivering babies, 60% of births in Mike Johnson's home state of Louisiana paid for by Medicaid, or whether it's, you know, seniors in nursing homes or whether it's folks with disabilities, those are the people that are going to be so incredibly hurt by this cruel betrayal of a bill.
Vince
Yeah, she's. She's a scumbag like the rest of them. Oh, yeah, no, I totally believe you. Yes. That. That's happening all the time. People are coming up to you and then asking you to bless them. You know, and it's so patently absurd. Nobody's crying on her shoulder in an airport. Nobody's crying. I think very few people would even recognize her, honestly. I mean, even for those of us who are pretty politically locked in and we see her in all sorts of video clips. I've seen her a million times. If I walk past her in an airport, I wouldn't even realize it. There's no way. Unless there were people all over hugging and crying. Who's that in the middle? Oh, that's Pramila Jayapal. Oh, she was telling the truth. She wasn't. She wasn't telling the truth. Nobody's crying on her shoulder. Nobody. Okay. And then finally, the final contribution here to this, this big, beautiful contest for the cringiest possible Democrat. There were. There was a group of Democrat doctors yesterday. These are elected officials. These are all congressmen who are allegedly also medical doctors. Republicans have a bunch of those, too in the House. And these Democrats decided to hold a hilariously incomprehensible press conference among throngs of disinterested tourists yesterday. Take a look at their decision to hold an idiotic press conference in the middle of a busy hallway where no one can understand a word that they're saying and no one really gives a shit. Here they are. Yesterday, the Democrat doctors.
Pramila Jayapal
Cut nine doctors, Democratic doctors, Congress, please.
Vince
Have care for the sickest patients in. Are you seeing this?
Pramila Jayapal
If someone was a Democrat or a.
Vince
Republican, people are walking past them. Nobody cares what they're Saying nobody can hear them. At one point, some other lawmaker walks by with a huge gaggle of press around them, probably a Republican, because they're the only ones who have any influence in this conversation whatsoever. And the Democrats have to stop talking because there's just. There's no way that they can even see the people across from them. What a stupid event. Who was planning this? Is there anybody who even does the planning for these press conferences? Anybody who sits back and is like, hey, that would be a bad idea. Maybe we shouldn't hold a press conference in a busy hallway with a bunch of tourists where nobody cares whatsoever about what we say and the cameras aren't even gonna be able to see us. So there we go. Those are the. The contributions of the. The idiotic Democrats. How do we feel, guys? Who wins the cringiest Democrat out of all of those chat. As we await the chat here, I just have to once again thank the Democrats for helping drive more votes for the big beautiful bill. Because if you're looking to, you know, who's going to stop this thing, you would think it'd be the loyal opposition is going to offer a good argument here. They have no good arguments. Everyone is going to die, and we don't know how to plan a press conference. We are learning to curse for the first time. We wield baseball bats and we make up stories about people crying on our shoulder. Jamie Raskin is getting a lot of action in the chat right now for his fake preamble to this thing. Fang Fang's name appeared in the chat. Although Fang Fang was not among the cringiest Democrats, Fang Fang did sleep with Eric Swalwell as a sacrifice on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party. I don't know how Fang Fang drew the short straw there. The doctors getting that's a ties is living in America. They're all cringe. No, they are all cringe. But I really want to pick somebody here. Jamie Raskin. Raskin, Swalwell. Lots of nicknames for Swalwell. Everyone's got that rat skin, says Rob McGroin, which I believe is Raskin we're talking about. All right, that's it. I think it's official. I honestly, based on this, Jamie Raskin is going to have to be the winner today of the cringiest possible Democrat to go after the big beautiful bill. Guys, one more time. Just so we get a reminder here. Here's cut four. Jamie Raskin with his stupid fake preamble to the big beautiful bill as written by chat speaker.
Jamie Raskin
I found the preamble to this big ugly bill. We, the billionaires in our king, in order to deform and sicken our union, establish injustice, ensure domestic servility, weaken our people's defenses, undermine the general welfare and reserve to ourselves and our posterity staggering debt, servitude for eternity. Do hereby instruct the Republicans in Congress to strip 17 million people of their health care increase.
Vince
All right, that's enough. I don't need it anymore. Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, America's Cringiest Democrats. Wonderful work, Jamie. You did it, sir. You did it. You finally achieved something in your life. So there's Jamie Raskin. Chat somebody let him know that he's America's cringiest Democrat as popularly elected by the. The best damn audience in media. Thank you for that. Congratulations to Jamie Raskin for, for achieving something at all, literally anything. You did it, buddy. You did it. All right, coming up, we keep our eyes on what the hell's going on. Also, is Hakeem Jeffrey still speaking? Is he, Is he still going right now? I think, honestly, I think he is. Here he is.
Hakeem Jeffries
Small business entrepreneur.
Vince
He's still running his sock here in.
Hakeem Jeffries
The United States of America.
Vince
He's still doing it. Did they replace someone else behind him?
Hakeem Jeffries
Mercedes lives in the great state of Colorado.
Vince
Oh, my gosh. He speaks slow because he thinks slow. Say again, Justin. The guy in the black jacket, so right behind Hakeem Jeffries. The guy just behind him was a woman as of recently. In fact, you know, did you see that? Everyone was falling asleep behind him. It was a great. This is hilarious. There was a. It was Marcy Captor who was caught on camera falling asleep behind Hakeem Jeffries. Let me see if I can show this to you. Here it is. Yeah, here's Marcy Captor. Look at her. She's zonking out. They had to. They practically had to drag her out of there. They had to pick her up, bring her out and replace her. Because these Democrats keep falling, falling asleep. So that's, that's really funny stuff. So there they are. Hey, we got to thank the sponsors that keep this program going, including providing all of the prizes for America's Cringiest Democrats. If there's something all of us can believe in, it's hard work and self reliance and showing up for the people who actually count on us. But a while back, I hit a wall. I was like Marcy Kaptor. I wasn't able to move on. I was falling asleep. I was getting terrible sleep. And then I'd have to drag myself through the next day on fumes. I knew I had to find something to break me out of that cycle. That's when I found Beam's Dream Powder. Beam is proudly founded in America and run by people who share our values, hard work, integrity and delivering results. It's a nighttime blend packed with science backed ingredients shown to improve sleep so you can wake up refreshed and ready to take on each new day. Our thanks once again to Beam for being a great sponsor of the program. Yeah, these guys, these guys really, really funny. And it is crazy that Hakeem Jeffries is still somehow the leader of the Democrats. For what reason? You know the reason. You know the reason. Because he's a puppet of Nancy Pelosi. He's an easily controlled puppet of Nancy Pelosi. And so he takes the job and Pelosi keeps, you know, spitting out orders, drenching you with her spit as she tells you what she wants you to do. That's, that's the life that Hakeem Jeffries has to leave now lead. Now say that, Justin, you have a fact check. What does that mean? It was a woman behind him at one point. Behind Hakeem Jeffries. Yeah, yeah, they're using, they're using seat fillers. You know, this is like, you know at the Oscars when the celebrities have to use the bathroom, they have, they put, they bring in seat fillers, they bring randos in because the, the actual people can't do it. They can't be there. So the Democrats here, they keep falling out, falling out. Anyway, that's what's happening. Hey, we've got some other good news this morning that I need to get to as well as we keep an eye on the big beautiful bill and whether or not this thing is going to pass just yet. We got economic data this morning that the economy is gangbusters right now. The June jobs report is absolutely phenomenal. Take a listen to CNN's interpretation of events this Morning. Here we go. Watch this. You expected some of this, but this is better than expected.
CNN Reporter
Yeah, Sarah, it is. Look, this jobs market is like the Energizer bunny. Every single time we expect it to run out of steam, it just keeps going and going. So these new numbers show that the U.S. economy added 147,000 jobs in June. That was well ahead of the expectation of about 118,000, well ahead of some whispers that we heard on Wall street of a sub 100,000 number. So this is indeed beating expectations. We were also expecting a slowdown. We did not get that. This is basically in line with May, which was revised higher. It's also good news. The unemployment rate was expected to go up. It didn't. It went down to 4.1%. That is a very healthy number. This is still relatively historically low. And again, it's below the 4.3% that we had expected.
Vince
Yeah. So the number is phenomenal. The United states economy adding 147,000 jobs just in the month of June and the expectations were that unemployment would go up and once again actually goes down. So that's phenomenal. We're adding jobs. Unemployment is going down. At the same time, the Trump economy is humming along. Baby. This is great news. Just imagine what it's going to look like with the big beautiful bill finally achieving its big beautiful passage. That's going to be a massive, massive thing. Also here's something really fun in this jobs report. We actually got some excellent news in that the United States had native born workers gain all of the jobs. 830,000 jobs were gained by native born workers. Foreign born lost 348,000 jobs. Now I should remind you there's a lot of people who are either being deported right now or who are self deporting. Some estimates are in the vicinity of about a million people have already self deported out of the United States while President Trump has been in office. So this could be, it certainly does play a role in this phenomenon. And then there's this aspect that comes to us from our In House economist E.J. antoni this morning. He says what a difference a President makes. Last November, the 12 month change in jobs among native born Americans was negative 1.1 million. In other words, as of last November, the prior 12 months, over a million native born Americans had lost their job in the United States of America. That was the Biden economy. But for June, right now, just going back 12 months, we have added over 1.7 million jobs to the American economy. For native born Americans, economists would do well to be like E.J. antony, the rest of them, and focus on native born versus foreign born, native born versus foreign born, native born jobs. Dramatically added. Dramatically added here. So this is very, very good news this morning that the Trump administration can be very, very proud of, and I'm super excited to bring that to you again. We await the House vote on the big, beautiful bill. Is Hakeem Jeffries still running his suck? Yes, he is. He's still going. He's still going. You know, he speaks so slowly that if you were to take a transcript of his every utterance, which some unfortunate soul does have to do in the House, they have to write down every word he's saying. I think it would probably be maybe five minutes of total text. That's how slowly this guy speaks. He's very. He's very, very slow.

Joining me right now is an amazing person, a woman who has just been in the fight for so long on behalf of women, Paula Scanlon, who at one time was swimming against, on the same team, William Thomas, the guy who called himself Leah Thomas, dressed in a women's swimsuit. Now she's with the American Principles Project. Paula Scanlon joins us now. Paula, thank you so much for doing this.
Paula Scanlon
Yeah, of course.
Vince
Really appreciate having you here. Okay, so take us back in time just to give people the cliff notes versions of events. This is the 2021, 2022 season. You're on the University of Pennsylvania swim team at the same time as a guy called William Thomas, who is posing as Leah Thomas and wearing a women's swimsuit. What happened? What was it even like when you found out that he would be a part of the swim team?
Paula Scanlon
Well, actually, we found out back in 2019. So my freshman year of college, I was swimming, and there was a member of the men's team by the name of William Thomas that was a man competing on the men's team wearing a men's swimsuit and in the men's locker room. And then at the beginning of the 2019 season, which was my sophomore year, he announced to the entire team that he now identified as a woman and would be joining our team the following season. He wanted to now be referring to. Referred to as she, her pronouns. And he told us he was. He was going to announce a new name change very soon. That's. That's how we were told this entire situation. And now flash forward to two years later. We lost the season because of COVID It is now the year of 2021. I'm now a senior, and he is now competing on the women's team. He had changed his name to Leah, and he was undressing in our locker room 18 times per week. And anytime someone would try to raise concerns about the situation, we were told by the administration that we were bigoted and hateful. We were told that if we did not want to undress in a locker room with a fully grown man, that we were the problem and we should seek psychological services to fix ourselves. And then they gave us the number for an on campus counselor.
Vince
It's so crazy. I mean, and you've told this story before. I'm so grateful that you're out there doing that. But. But just on that locker room issue, again, William Thomas had made no changes cosmetically to himself. Right. He was just a dude changing in the women's locker room.
Paula Scanlon
Exactly.
Vince
Okay. Crazy. So at the outset of that, when you find out that news, were any of the women on the team outraged about this? Did the word go around quickly? Were people like, this is crazy, this shouldn't happen, or did people sort of cow to it right away?
Paula Scanlon
So when we first announced, I first honestly thought it was a joke. I sat there and I was, am I supposed to laugh? Am I waiting for the candid cameras to come out and say pranked? Yeah, I mean, that's truly how I felt. I turned around, I was sitting towards the front of the room. I turn around and I looked at my teammates and they're clapping, they're applauding, they're saying, we're so proud of you for being your authentic self. And I thought to myself, am I crazy? Am I the only one here that doesn't think that this is acceptable? And so after this happened, everyone just tried to pretend like they were so supportive. And then you started having one on one conversations with people. And even the furthest left leaning people that I knew on my team, they told me privately, one on one at the time when it was first announced, that they even were like, this is insane, this is nonsense. Like, this is not matching biological reality. That was something actually one of my teammates who was very left leaning had actually said to me privately, one on one. So it was really interesting because people would have their private opinions and then those were very different.
Vince
Okay, so all these many years later, the Trump administration has finally scored a victory over the University of Pennsylvania by getting them to agree to a number of really important things here. They're gonna restore to all of the female athletes, all of the individual titles, records, titles, everything that University of Pennsylvania swimmers have had in the past that were supplanted by a male swimming in the prison program. They're also supposed to issue a public statement to the university community saying that they will finally comply with Title 9, which is again, explicitly designed to protect women, and they're going to go with the biological definitions of male and female. They're going to post a statement, basically a statement of shame, to their own website declaring what they're doing here, and they're rescinding any guidance that violates Title ix. And then finally, and I know this is one that you're fascinated by, the University of Pennsylvania is going to send a personalized letter of apology to each impacted female swimmer. Have you received your letter yet?
Paula Scanlon
I have not received my letter. And I'm honestly wondering what it's going to say, what it will be. I mean, I Could see them also. I was just actually thinking about this this morning. I was just wondering if I'm even going to get one. Maybe they're only issuing them to the girls that lost records. Maybe they're only issuing it to a handful of swimmers. I mean, it's really unclear who. Who they actually intend to apologize to here. I have seen this community letter that they sent out. I received an email from the athletic community. I think it was sent to all student athletes at the time. And then also a widespread sort of community note, just saying, hey, wanted to update you guys on the situation. And it was. I mean, I've posted it online already at this point and people did not seem to be very happy with the way that they've approached it. But again, they just simply say we were following the rules, then we're trying to follow the rules.
Vince
Don't be mad at us.
Paula Scanlon
And that's the message.
Vince
Okay. Is it true? I think I saw you post on social media that there were other female swimmers, actual female swimmers, who were attacking you for speaking the truth and for standing up for women. And I believe that you think you're of the opinion that they too will receive letters of apology now despite the fact that they were a part of the dogpile to attack you.
Paula Scanlon
Exactly. That's what's so funny about it, is that they're going to. Right. We think they're issuing apologies to the impacted swimmers. Right. I don't know how they're even going to gauge that. I hope it's the entire team. It should be the entire team, but that includes people who were very supportive of Thomas competing that cheered him on while they took their rightful spot on realize while they. They took a. While Thomas took away their opportunities to compete. I mean, there were women who actually cheered this on. And that's exactly why we're in this situation, because people that should have been speaking out against it were actually so supportive of it. So I'm very curious to see their reaction. I mean, I'm sure I won't ever find out. But them receiving a letter of apology over something that they rallied behind and truly believed in, it's a little bit humorous to me.
Vince
How big of a deal do you think it is for the women who are having their records officially restored by the University of Pennsylvania now?
Paula Scanlon
I think it's a great thing. And I had looked at it, one of the girls who's going to have a record restored was competing at the time, same, same season as Thomas in the same events. And so I imagine that she probably feels pretty vindicated. And some records were longer standing, so there's some people that I didn't even overlap with. There's a few girls, actually, that were currently on the team, I think, that are now going to have a record on the board. So it's very interesting to watch that. But it is interesting to note that there is a relay that is staying on the record board. Thomas was part of the relay. I have a really hard time wrapping my head around how to feel about that. I mean, it's, it's really challenging to, to. I swam, many realize in my life, to, to feel like you have this relay record, but a man was on it and he's staying there on the record board because they can't take it away from the other girls. But also, who's to say how fast they would have gone if he wasn't on that relay and it had been replaced with a different female swimmer. So the whole thing is sticky and challenging and it could have been avoided if he was just told no.
Vince
And that awful thing, that awful asterisk that'll forever be affixed to that record, that was done because of the University of Pennsylvania's decisions. And so now the Trump administration has successfully intervened here by threatening access to $175 million in federal funding. So the University of Pennsylvania, obviously surrendering because it wants the money. But doesn't it strike you as kind of pathetic that the only way that the University of Pennsylvania would come to its senses is because they're desperate for cash?
Paula Scanlon
I mean, sure, you can call it pathetic, but they allowed a man on a woman's swim team. Are we really holding them to a high standard? Are we really believing that they're this wonderful institution that's there to better the society and better student lives? I mean, look what they've already done. I mean, of course I share your sentiment there, but this is who they are. And I think if this is the way to get them to come to the negotiation table and say please, please, please, we're trying to, trying to follow the rules here. I'm grateful for the Trump administration for doing this. I'm grateful for the way that they've handled the situation by putting the pressure on them. So, I mean, that's the, that's the way you look at it. And I think we're really starting to see the Ivy Leagues realize they're not the masters of the universe, that they do have rules that they need to follow. And this woke ideology that they've been pushing for so long has to Go.
Vince
It's just a soulless decision making process, though. It's so sad. Do you think other universities are going to get the message here and, and quickly start following suit?
Paula Scanlon
You know, I really hope so. We're seeing really the tale of two Ivy League schools here, right? We have Harvard that's pushed back against the Trump administration. We have Penn that's just gone to the negotiation table. I mean, two different issues. But funny enough, Lia Thomas actually has three records at the Harvard pool. I would love to see Thomas taken off the record board there. And I would love to see Harvard come to the negotiation table and also issue an apology. You know, the girls at Harvard were actually sent a letter in writing saying that if they spoke out against Lia Thomas, competing against them, that they would contribute to someone committing suicide. I mean, that is the blackmail that these students were put through during the season. Harvard should also apologize to their student athletes for their actions in handling the Lia Thomas situation. Even if it wasn't their own teammate, they were still very responsive in supporting a man competing in women's sports.
Vince
It is amazing. Okay, so. And as I mentioned, and as you know, the reason any of this could get done right now is obviously through the steady work of women like you. But thanks to having President Trump in place to actually see this through. What do you think of President Trump's involvement in all of this and how exceptional has that been?
Paula Scanlon
I mean, I'm getting exactly what I voted for, truly. I mean, he campaigned on this. And it's one thing to campaign on this and get voters over and get people riled up on this issue, which absolutely, that alone I'm so grateful for. But they're delivering on their promises. I mean, I remember when Trump got into office, I said, okay, I imagine he's going to sign some executive order about men and women's sports. He did it in his first couple weeks in office. There's so many issues he had to come in and clean up after a Joe Biden presidency. And he took attention to do this. I was so grateful to be invited to stand behind the President when he signed this executive order back in February. And now this immediately starting to pull the federal funding from the University of Pennsylvania. He did that in March, only his second month in office. And again now getting Penn to come to the negotiation table only six months into his administration, I mean, it just shows they don't just deliver on their promises, but they're also strong leaders and are able to just get things done, which is exactly why people should support him as a President, he is a doer and he keeps his promises.
Vince
But the way the media and the left describe him, he's a menace to women. He's a terrible person. Person. He hates women. And in fact, it's the Democrat Party who stands up for women, that they've been the ones who are always fighting for the rights of women. How do you square their presentation with reality?
Paula Scanlon
I mean, it's so funny how they tried to perpetuate this lie for so many years. And I dare you guys to go look up anyone who's objecting to us. Dare you to go look up the photo of Trump signing the executive order. I mean, there were young girls standing behind him, and every single one of those girls understood the importance of why it was being signed. They weren't just there because their moms asked them to be there. They were there because they supported Trump being president. They supported his action in protecting women, and they were grateful that he was president and grateful to be there. And that's something I think the leftist media is trying to ignore and can't really wrap their heads around. And I find it so funny because to me, this is the greatest women's rights movement that's happened in the last several decades. To be honest, once they accomplished Title nine and got all these rights for women, there hasn't been much progress on the women's rights. And this is a huge win. And President Trump was the one to deliver. I would love to see the leftist media continue to try to spin this.
Vince
How have you seen the culture change since you've been engaged in this fight? Because it does seem like so many more people are willing to tell the truth. It's kind of an emperor has no clothes story. People are, are finally admitting it. And even we see fights like J.K. rowling, the Harry Potter lady who's a lefty, on, I think, everything. And on this issue, she's standing up for women and saying, no, men can't be women. That's insane. And she's taken a lot of arrows.
Paula Scanlon
For that, you know, Definitely. I think the one thing I've learned about this issue is actually how unifying it is. I mean, the University of Pennsylvania wanted us to believe that we were isolated and alone and this issue was controversial. But in reality, all I've seen is how many different people have come together and supported this. I mean, we have people from the left side of the aisle, we have people from the right side of the aisle. I mean, actually, just this week, I had a friend who is a self identified Democrat confided in me that she voted for Kamala Harris, but she was an athlete. She texted me and said, hey, I wanted to congratulate you. And I wanted to also say that I 100% support the Trump administration and their action against the University of Pennsylvania. I think really what that shows us about this issue is it's not left versus right and it's common sense versus crazy. And common sense has really won, and that's where we are right now. And I think if the Democrats want to double down on this, they're going to have a hard time considering even their own voter base. The majority of Democrats at this point in time do not even agree with the Democrat Party stance on this.
Vince
Yes. Do you think the Democrats abandon this stance or do they cling to it to their own peril?
Paula Scanlon
You know, I never know what they're doing. I wish I could get into their minds because half the things they believe I can't even rationalize. So I would hope and if I'm a smart strategist, that they're just going to pretend it never happened. They're going to ignore it. They're going to say, we never said that, because that's what they tend to do. But if they do choose to double down on this, I say let them, because they're going to have a very hard time winning any of other major elections if they continue to cling on to this ideology.
Vince
I hope you're right. Yeah. Paula Scanlan, thank you very much. And thank you for standing up for women. And I, and I say that personally as a father of a young daughter who swims and loves it, and thank you for protecting her sport by doing that. I'm appreciative of you very much for.
Paula Scanlon
Your attention and help and just spreading the message on this. So I appreciate you, too.
Vince
Thank you, Paul. Thank you. Yeah. So good. So good. All right. Speaking of that, Paula has just mentioned that we've got that image. Remember that image of President Trump standing alongside all of the girls as he signed that executive order. I, I, I just want to remind you of what that looked like as the president brought all those girls in.
Donald Trump
You know, if you'd like to gather around me, I think I'm going to be okay.
Vince
What a great image. Services.
Donald Trump
Worried about them? Do we have to worry about them? We have big problems. Okay, do you want to have a.
Vince
You want to do this?
Donald Trump
Watch, watch what I do, and then I'm going to give you some pens.
Vince
Okay?
Donald Trump
You ready? What a nice picture this is, huh? Governor, you ready? We'll do a good job. Wait, let me press that.
Vince
It was so cool to see.
Donald Trump
I want to make this a really good signature. All these girls, you know, this is a big one, right?
Vince
Just all there supporting the president. The president supporting them.
Donald Trump
Oh, I think we have a 10. We have a 10.
Paula Scanlon
God bless you, Mr. President.
Vince
A great scene, just a wonderful, wonderful scene as the president of the United States looks out for the women of our country, the girls of our country. And now the fruits of that are obviously found now in paying off in what he just accomplished by getting the University of Pennsylvania to be brought to heel. What, what amazing news this weekend. God bless Paula Scanlon for that now again, as you are watching us live this morning. For those of you on rumble.com rumble.com Vince, thank you as always for being here. Chad, we've got this. The dial up Democrat is still going. That's the, that's the update on this. He's still running to suck. Still taking forever to speak.
Hakeem Jeffries
So two year old girl, an American citizen.
Vince
Oh, my goodness. He just can't stop. He can't stop. Removed.
Hakeem Jeffries
From her homeland.
Vince
Oh, my goodness.
Hakeem Jeffries
So slow, but can't get legal status.
Vince
All right. Anyway, that's, that's Hakeem Jeffries. He's, he's still going at this hour. So really the only thing slowing down the big beautiful bill at this moment is a guy who's got a room temperature IQ who they pushed out in front of a microphone. That's really, that's all that's left. So as soon as that guy peters out, we're on our way. We'll have a big beautiful vote and then the president is set for a bill signing. The report is at 9am Friday, Independence Day at the White House to celebrate the big beautiful bill and make it a big beautiful law. So that'll be a really nice thing. Also, speaking of victories this week for the president of the United States, we do have an update here comes to us from the New York Times. But illegal border crossings have plunged now to the lowest level in decades. They're very excited about this at the White House. The number of people crossing the southern border illegally has now dropped to levels that haven't been seen in, they say, decades. I think the president says literally ever. A sign that President Trump's message of deterrence and his hardline immigration policies are definitely working to keep people out. Border Patrol agents made just over 6,000 total arrests in June. 6,000 of them. That brings us down to the numbers of people who are crossing each day during the Biden administration. Now 6,000 detained in June and they're not releasing them. They're deporting them. They're deporting them. So big, big news. All right. Hey, chat. Thank you, as always. God bless you, too. I'm getting nice messages in the chat. Everyone's excited for Independence Day. Yeah, I've got my Independence Day American flag shirt on a couple times a year. Like to take this thing out, you know, Memorial Day, Independence Day just seems fitting. Gotta hang the bunting on the house to compliment the American flag. It's a great weekend. It's a great celebration. And here's the thing. It is. I saw some people disputing over. They were trying figuring out. Okay, what do you mean by the 250th anniversary? When does it start? It does start officially tomorrow. We begin that year, you know, just like when you were born. Even though you're not yet one year old. We measure you in months. That's still the first year of your life. So in other words, this is the 250th year of the life of the United States of America. Beginning tomorrow, Independence Day. I hope you have amazing, amazing celebrations with your loved ones to honor our great country and can look with appreciation on the fact that we have good leadership in charge right now. Thank God it's President Trump and he's hoping to sign that big, beautiful law tomorrow Friday, which would be really, really nice. It is Independence Day. We are going to have content for you on Independence Day. So if you'd like to join us live, you can do that. Rumble.com Vince, you can do that or just listen to the podcast as always today.
