This week, Emily and her dad, Jeff, sit down to chat about how music runs deep in our blood and how that has shaped our family for generations. Jeff grew up surrounded by music and realized he had the same passion as he got older. He shares his experience about having to make the decision to go from full-time musician to full-time dad. Jeff entered the business realm after his kids were all grown up and realized his passion for science and medicine. Jeff became sick with kidney and liver failure in 2018 and he shares his experiences with hospitalizations, recovery and crazy dreams he had while in the hospital. We take a deep dive into the idea of "un-doing" things that were instilled in us when we were younger and about the generational differences.
