Jan 3000:48:03Tap to summarizeWe are going to step back to the mid 1990s in Tucson, Arizona, to examine two cases that have haunted the city’s south side for three decades. In December 1994, 6-year-old Lizette went missing from her apartment complex. About 13 months later, 7-year-old Karen Grajeda went missing from her apartment complex just 8 miles away. On the surface, these might seem like isolated incidents, but as local investigators and the FBI began to look deeper, they discovered a disturbing pattern, and they were soon linked to three additional abductions of young girls in the same area between 1993 and 1994. Anyone with information in either of these cases is asked to call the Tucson Police Department at 520-791-4444. There is a $20,000 reward being offered in each case. Jan 2200:39:16Tap to summarizeOn March 14, 1998, at a farmhouse in Strong City, Oklahoma, 39-year-old Leonard Dirickson sat down for breakfast with his teenage son. As they were cleaning up, they were interrupted by a mysterious stranger in a truck, inquiring about a horse for sale. It had been a tough few years for their family farm, so Leonard told his son he was going to leave with the man in hopes of selling one of their horses on another property and that he’d be back that afternoon. But Leonard remains missing to this day in one of the most puzzling cases in Oklahoma history. Leonard Neal Dirickson was 39 years old when he was last seenon March 14, 1998, at his home in Strong City, Oklahoma. He was seen getting into a newer or possibly a 1994 white Ford F150 pickup truck with an unknown man. He told his son that they were headed to Mobeetie, Texas, and Elk City, Oklahoma, to look at horses. Leonard is white, about 6 feet tall, and weighed approximately 200 pounds at the time of his disappearance, with brown hair and a red handlebar mustache. He has grey eyes and a small scar under one eye. He was last seen wearing a brown cap with a green bill and an ACCO feeds logo, a faded black Carhartt brand coat, green jeans, and black and brown shoes or boots. The unidentified man Leonard was last seen with has been described as white, about 6’2”, around 40 years old, and approximately 210lbs with a reddish-brown beard, a long nose, dark eyes, and a thick, round face. He was seen wearing blue jeans, a striped western shirt, a blue jacket, and a cap with the words “No Fear” on the front. He may be right-handed and smokes cigarettes, possibly Marlboro Lights. Christie Farni

Just hours later, she was reported missing to the Medford, Oregon, police department. Her case is now the oldest unsolved case of a missing child in the entire county. Christie is white with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was 3’8” and weighed approximately 50lbs. She also spoke with a slight speech impediment, has a burn scar on her chest, and her ears are pierced. As of the recording of this episode, she would be 53 years old. Amber was last seen reading a magazine and watching TV around 10:35 p.m., but by 1:00 a.m., she was gone. Her family quickly suspected foul play. Suspicion immediately focused on Keith "Mark" Hescock, a disgruntled former employee of Amber's grandfather. Amber is white, about 5’5”, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighed approximately 140 pounds when she disappeared. She also has vitiligo with some white colored spots on her upper left arm and left leg. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray boxer shorts, and her knee-length terry cloth robe. She says she left her 2-year-old son, Sky, asleep in the vehicle while she took her 4-year-old daughter to get help. When she returned, Sky was gone. What followed was a case that has continued to stun the local community and, really, the nation for nearly 15 years. 2-year-old Sky Metalwala was reported missing from Bellevue, Washington, on November 6, 2011. At that time, he was 2’10” tall and weighed approximately 30lbs. He is biracial with black hair and brown eyes. She was on her way to what she believed would be a promising babysitting job — a chance to earn a little money and take one more step toward independence, but Margaret never came home. Fourteen-year-old Margaret Ellen Fox was last seen boarding a bus on June 24, 1974, in Burlington, NJ. She has blue eyes and brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5’2” and weighed approximately 105 lbs. Two of her top right teeth were missing, and she wore eyeglasses. She was last seen wearing jeans with a yellow patch on the knee, a blue blouse, a white and black checkered jacket, and brown sandals with a heel strap. She was also wearing a gold necklace with flowers and a blue stone, and a gold charm bracelet with a blue stone. Margaret was carrying an eyeglass case with a Huckleberry Hound design on it.
