D
Ms. Quad? Heavenly toya.
E
Toya.
D
Yes. Welcome to Married Tomato Song. So we open with Dr. Jackie in her crazy glasses. I saw someone online called them wicked glasses.
C
And ye that's what Dom was saying. He's like, oh, she's still got her wicked on.
D
So funny. So she is delivering a baby. She's like, it's two in the morning. I'm about to go lie down. Babies need to get some sleep inside the uterus or not. And I need to make sure that this baby does not have a gigantic thyroid. Embarrassing it at parties. Dr. Jackie making sure babies stay thin one baby at a time.
C
Thank you.
D
Jackie out.
C
And angel is talking about what her life is like on her shift. She's saying it's been like another long shift. And her pa, she's like, one of my patients didn't even want to keep his clothes on. And I said, are you single? Because I'm really looking for a man. So Mimi. Then we go to Mimi, who's saying she's had a rough. She's having a rough day because Mr. Sanders is gone and we need all hands on deck at the office. Okay, Pray for me, people. Pray for me. And she shows us her office, which I was amused because she has like a chandelier in her office. She has like a little chandelier light fixture over her desk, which I feel like is kind of a extravagant little, like, decor detail for a therapist's office. Like, please tell me about your decaying marriage under the light of this crystal chandelier. But I know it's supposed to make it feel like more personal at home. I know why it's there. I just thought it was funny. It was like a funny little detail. She's like, I'm putting up a chandelier.
D
So back at Quad's house, she's having an I'm back party. And she's like, I'm back. And they're like, yes, you are. Welcome back, Quad. So tell me about your trip. So then meanwhile, Heavenly's crying.
F
She's like, I miss quad.
E
You look good, girl. I miss you, Quad. I miss you so much, Quad. Hey, Quad. I miss you, Quad.
C
She's got her high pitched Muppet voice on. And Quad is like, well, I'm not pregnant at all. That's what I'm going to tell you all.
E
I'm not pregnant. Heavenly's like, I mean, 15 times a week. I mean, you could be, right?
C
And angel's like, what? 15 times a week. They're like, what? That's crazy. Yeah. Then Contessa shows up. And Contessa's. She shows up and she has this gift. And Quad opens it and says, giant teddy bear. I'm like, contessa, you know that she doesn't have a baby, right? She like, is this. Is this a gift for the eggs? It's just neck retrieval.
D
I brought you some hot sauce for your eggs to celebrate your eggs. Like, what the hell kind of gift is this?
C
Yeah.
D
She's like, oh, I think she wants me to have a boy. Girls don't like bears. And she's like, isn't that cute? It's like an. It's like a Contessa outfit inappropriate for the movie. So she's like, well, you've been on your new plan. Have you been craving anything in particular? Like, any sugar? Since you're not drinking and crying goes, cont, look at my ass. Look at it.
C
Just don't worry about that. It's gonna come right off. You know, I gained 70 pounds when I was pregnant. I was like a whole other person. I mean, I wouldn't even let Scott come in and watch me on the scale. We have a great marriage. It was crazy. Then Contesta's like, yeah, I don't care what people say. Being pregnant is not a beautiful experience. Okay? You have to go to the bathroom all the time and then you just start to pee a little bit. And then you have. It's just like your kid. Just suction cupped on my breast. It's not nice.
D
So they asked what happened in Ghana? And she said that they got four eggs fertilized. And after that long process, it was a huge win. And she's like, and now we just need those eggs to fertilize at a hundred percent. So now she's getting text messages every day telling her about the eggs, you know, and how it's going. And Heavenly is like, oh, cheers baby.
F
Cheers the embryo baby. Cheers the embryo baby.
D
So King Meets up with the guys. Because who doesn a guy scene? And I like that they're doing it in the barber shop.
C
I like it too. Especially I love a good guy in.
D
A barber shop scene.
C
I love. I love Eugene at the barber shop. Cuz I don't think we've ever seen him with hair. I mean, I'm sure there's some hair that grows in that he. They need to shave off. But like, they're having this whole scene and like, Eugene just like, his eyes are like closed and he's getting misted with like, product. And he was just like enjoying like a moment of silence without Toya.
D
Yeah.
C
So King is like. King is like, well, hi everyone. So Sunday, well, this is going well. And Eugene's asking like, when did you get back from Ghana? And he's like, Sunday night, morning. I mean, it was originally supposed to be like one trip, but it turned out to be like five trips, you know what I'm saying? Like, wow, man, that's a lot. That's a lot of going to Ghana. He's like, yeah, it's like, it's taking time away from my work. Taking time away from my daughter who we never see. Taking a lot of going back to Ghana. That's King's way of being like, I'm sick of it. Yeah.
D
And they're like, well, we do see you supporting her. You know, you're getting points for that. It's like, yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot of catering to someone's needs and then neglecting your needs at the same time. No, sir. No, sir. Stop acting like this woman's just begging me for a baby. It's all about her. Does your child too, sir. Okay, and if you don't want to do that, stop phrasing it. Like, you know, I think if he said something like, going back to Ghana is a lot. We need to do this in America. Okay, I think that's a fair request. But phrasing this is like, oh, yes, a lot. Catering to someone's needs and then ignoring your own needs. Oh, no. King continuing to give me the worst vibes. So he's like, yeah, but, you know, like, it's a time that I got to put my own feelings aside and just support you.
C
Yeah. And she's like, but that's not fair. That's not right. He goes, well, it doesn't have to be fair, doesn't have to be right, but it's what's needed and I have to be there for you, to support you and Keep us together. So, I mean, I didn't think that that was that bad that he was like, well, it's not. Yeah, it's not fair to me that I have to, you know, kind of, like, put everything in my life on pause, but that's what's the right thing to do. I thought that was actually a nice thing to say, Ronnie. No. You don't think that was nice?
D
No, not how he's saying it. He's like, oh, yeah, I have to put everything aside just to support you and keep us together and just all this to keep us. No, you're. You're going to have a child together. That's. You're not doing her some huge fucking favor. I don't like that, like, putting the whole thing is like, oh, the woman wants a baby. Never stuck having this baby. I'm just going to do it because I love the woman. And it's like, I'm doing you a huge favor. No one is doing you a favor when they're telling you what a favor they're doing you every five minutes, right?
C
So Cecil is like, well, if you were to bring up what you were needing now, you would look selfish, right? He's like, there you go. And Cecil's like. And that's the thing, you know, you and I know Eugene can relate because, like, you have to learn as a mate that there's a time and a place to have a discussion. I'm like, says Cecil, the time and the place. Who doesn't seem to ever know the time or the place. And that time or place doesn't seem to have ever arrived to have the discussion, right? Of, like, the discussion of being on your wife's side. I don't know what I'm trying to say here. I'm trying to be like. Be on your. I'm like, the point is that Cecil's. When it comes to talk. Discussions of timing, Cecil is not the expert on this.
D
Oh, yeah. And as Cecil, like, trying to be an expert, and when in five minutes, he's about to start, like, losing it in the kitchen for no reason. So he's like, yeah, now's not the time, you know, when Simone's on call. I'm not going to discuss anything that's meaning, you know, because I know, like, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna discuss anything I need to discuss because, like, I know where we're at. You know, am I lying? And Eugene's like, life's too short, man. Just do whatever they want. Just do what they want. So we go back to Quad's house, and she's like, what are you at?
C
What.
D
What was going on while I was gone? Well, I was gone to gala. Well, I was gala. I'm just going to say that I was. I was here, that I was gonna.
C
Cadessa goes, well, we made some handbags. And Quad's like, like, what? She kind of like, laughs, like, that's ridiculous. And then she goes, and it turned into a, you know, feud between Toy and Heavenly. And Quad's like, well, I'm gone. I'm in Ghana and I'm trying to.
E
Get these kids, and you guys are all here acting like a fool.
C
And Heavenly's like, well, she was.
E
I was talking about her husband. And I'm like, you talked about my child?
C
And Angel's like, well, I think anyone would feel some way if they talked about your child.
E
And I was like, yeah, but like, if you. About my child, I think it's time for, you know, it's open for me to talk about anything I want to talk about.
C
So then Angel's like, yeah, I think that's totally right. But then I don't think Toya talked about her child. And in fact, someone even says it at some point, like, toya never talked about your child. Like in this. In this case, at least not as I remember in the group text.
D
No, but Heavenly says that because based on what she's going through right now with her son, that Tori knew that and she talked about her family. So she was hinting that it was her son. So. Right. So she still gets what she got.
F
So Heavenly's like, I mean, she can. She came in me kind of hard. Like, where's all this animosity coming from?
D
And Contest is like, well, you said she was talking about your kid, but I mean, that happened years ago. Why would they even still talk about it?
F
And she's like, I don't know, because it came up in the blogs. It just came up in the blogs.
C
So Contest says like, well, I wonder if Simone looked it up. I mean, I'm just playing. Ha, ha, ha, ha ha. But seriously, I wonder if Simone looked up. You want to talk some shit about.
E
Simone, you should talk.
F
Oh, yeah, she looks up everybody's stuff. She looks up everybody'.
D
And Quad's like, what kind of friend looks up everybody's stuff? Like all of you. I mean, who always has the price of Toria's houses? And yes, keeps track of all the robberies in the neighborhood. Etc.
C
So Evelyn's like, well, she said that.
E
If she had the VIN number. She'd look up that damn car, too.
C
And Angel's like, what?
E
I was like, yeah, the Rolls Royce.
C
So they're like, what? She would look up the. She would look it up. I'm like, I don't think. I mean, maybe Simone would, but I think that I'm assuming she was making a joke. Sequoia's like, she's.
E
She should have known that Heavenly was going to come back and tell me. She should have known that. How do you operate with a person who would go behind your back and start snooping around looking for some.
C
Bravo. This is. Have you seen a reunion? Have you ever seen a manila folder at a reunion?
F
Well, am I not a good friend for telling her? Because I don't know, maybe I'm up.
D
I don't know.
F
Maybe I'm the bad one here.
D
And contest is like, no, you need to know where you stand with me, people. So then we go to Mimi's house with Stevie, and Stevie's not having a.
C
Good day.
D
And he's, you know, like, having a temper tantrum. He's like, he wants his sister and he wants his dad. And she's like, we sent the sister away because sometimes she needs. You know, she needs to just be a normal kid and not deal with all this stress.
C
Because the. Because Stevie, you know, we saw it when he acts out, like, he punched his sister and everything. It is just. Man, my heart really goes out to this family because this is very difficult. Like, they have a whole conversation about it, and she's basically like, I'm depleted. I'm emotionally drained from my patients because they come in and they tell me about their lives, and it's hard. It's hard on me, and I'm drained, and I just can't sit here and make dinner. And I. I don't know. Am I crazy? This is. Might be one of those things where Ben believes in good, in people and Ronnie doesn't. But it seems like Steve is, like, pretty awesome. He's like, it's all good.
D
He's like, yeah, I think they deal with the kid really well, you know?
C
Yeah, he's, like, really supportive. It was also funny when. When they're like. Like, oh, what do you mean?
D
Ronnie's what? Ronnie doesn't believe. Like, what am I gonna say? Yeah, Steve's a whole conversation.
C
Well, I was. Well, I never know. I never know. You're gonna be like, ben, don't fall for it. He's just doing this to look nice. And afterwards, he's gonna go no, Come on.
D
Jeez.
C
But he. No, it's more just like. It's. It's more that he's. He's also really supportive of Mimi, that. I really appreciate that. Like, I. I think their vibe is so loving, and watching them dealing with the situation is actually pretty fascinating.
D
And.
C
But it was. I was like, God, this is. This is a lot when they have to be. When they're having a conversation, and then they have to say, oh, Stevie's got the lamp. I'm like, oh, man, the lamp. Like, these parents are. They're, like, on guard at all times. I mean, she even says at one point, like, sometimes it's just hard. I'm just driving back from work, and I've got Stevie in the backseat, and I never know if he's gonna throw something at my head while I'm driving. It's like, wow. Like, oh, my God. My heart really goes out to them. Just because it's. It's. It must be totally draining. You have to be. You have to be ready at all times. You're on alert, and it's hard.
D
It's time for a commercial. It's time for a crappin's commercial.

E
Wayfair. Every style, every home.
D
So now Heavenly goes to meet her brother Travis for lunch. Her brother, you say? Her brother, I say. I was like, what?
F
So she's like, I've got news. There's a new man in my life. I have a brother. My brother came to my office. My front desk said, my brother was there. And honestly, I didn't believe them because I don't have a brother, but he knew my grandma's name. So now I have a brother.
D
What?
C
I would love it if this was just a total stranger and she's just really excited to have a brother. She's like, I don't really care. I'll take the brother. It works for me. They really did a big tee up. Also, like, as he was walking, they show his. His shoes and, like, the bottom of his legs, and it's like, oh, is this her son? Is it a reunion? Like, no, it's a stranger. So, yeah, she has a new brother now, and it turns out she never knew about the brother. So they're talking about it based on.
F
What he knows and the way he looks and the way he moves, it reminds me of my father. So now I have a brother.
D
I was just thinking, well, that was a head. That would be the craziest trick of all to, like, pretend to be Heavenly's brother. Of all the people that you could choose in the world to be like, you know what? That one, the lady who's always in trouble. I'm married to medicine. I'm gonna make her sister. Yeah.
C
So she's like, okay, let's do a.
E
Little bit of math. So how old are you? You're 59. I'm 54. And then my mommy and my dad were married, so. Wow.
C
She's like. She's like, oh, my God. He was like, this was this. This child was born out of an affair. I'm like, what part of a heaven of a brother that you never knew about that suddenly shows up, says he was born not from an affair. Like, of course he's from an affair. Isn't that, like, the first rule of, like, a surprise sibling?
D
Yeah.
F
So she's like, well, I didn't think my dad was a cheater. I mean, he was in the service and he always traveled, so we never really got to know my dad's side of the family. Maybe now I see why. Because. Because dad has secrets. Dad had secrets?
C
Yeah. The traveling. Not a good Sign. So Evelyn's like, so, did you ever meet my father?
E
Did you ever meet him?
C
And he's like, I did.
E
And she's like, when did you met him?
C
And she's like, he's like, when I was little. And he was like, really nice and stuff. And he was good. And, you know. You know, he. He was really, like. He was really friendly. And he'd be like, oh, I'm going. I'm going in a minute. But it was nice.
E
I was like, oh, and your mom, what did she say about my father? Was it negative?
C
Was it negative? Did she say something negative?
E
And like, with daddy never cared about y'. All. So I'm like, tell me about daddy.
C
And he's like, when you say, tell me about daddy, are you talking about your husband or are you talking about our father? I just need to get some clarification before I proceed.
F
Well, I guess I've really never thought about how creepy that was until right now. But, yeah, tell me about daddy.
D
And he's like, no, no, she never said anything bad about dad.
F
And she said, well, my father was the deacon at church. I mean, you never would have thought that he had outside kids.
D
The deacon at church, having outdoors.
B
Who would have thought?
D
Come on, man.
C
Has she never read, like, a romance novel? Hello. So Heavenly is like. She's saying that she can't wait for him to meet daddy.
D
My daddy was a good man. From what I could see, he was a provider. What is this about parents dying and then suddenly everything they do is okay? What do you mean? He was a good man. He just had a family outside of your mom. In secret. She's like, my dad, What a good man. God, that was a good guy.
C
He provided a brother. So Heavenly is talking about her kids.
E
And she goes, well, Damon Jr. I haven't seen him in a minute.
C
And he's like, why not?
E
He got arrested and he just got.
C
His and left after you cursed him out and probably said, you're worthless piece of. Why you're disappointment to this family. Why would you. How could you do this to me? I'm running for office and I put a roof over your head. Like, she went. She went in on him so hard.
F
We know.
E
Because she's like, well, fessed him out.
D
Yeah, Heavenly. Just leaving. Just leaving all the story out.
F
Yeah, he got arrested and then he got his and left.
D
There needs to be at least a dot, dot, dot in that sentence somewhere. Come on. And he's like, well, that's not good.
F
And she goes, yeah, it's really Rough for me and Daddy. Well, not your daddy. My daddy. Not my daddy, My husband Daddy. Do I have to come up with a different nickname for Daddy? Can we just start calling Daddy Father? Can we please just start calling Daddy Father? Deacon. Father Deacon Father. That's what we're calling him now.
E
Mine is Big Dick Daddy and ours is just Regular Daddy.
C
So he is like, actually, that's happening with my son too.
E
She's like, oh.
C
And they're basically like, yeah. He's like, it just, it's, it's hard because they need to know that, like, there's other family out there. So, like, I know you might be mad at me, but you can still be around the family and take the village and everything. And so she's like, well, guess what?
E
I'm gonna have a family reunion and I'm gonna invite all my friends and none of my family. So it'll be great. You want to come?
D
He's like, yeah, I'll come. I'll bring everybody to that. So just, just a question, and this is no pressure, but will you be doing free dental care at this thing? Because I just thought of the real. I was like, why would anybody lie about Heavenly being their sister? But then I realized, caps. Yeah, free caps. Crowns.
C
Because dental insurance does nothing.
D
So that does nothing. I wonder how many dentists have had, like, long lost brothers showing up being like, I know you have a sibling. Okay, get a family discount, right? For free. Okay, wire me up.
C
So as part of this family reunion, there's going to be a Mac and cheese off. Everyone's going to make their own Mac and cheese. There's gonna be a thing. So now after the scene, we go to, we're gonna go all around the city and we start with Heavenly. And she doesn't know how to make Mac and cheese because Heavenly doesn't cook. And we see this, she like, pulls pots and pans. They like all clatter on the floor. And so since she doesn't know how to make Mac and cheese, she calls up the person that one would always call for a Mac and cheese recipe. Dr. Jackie.
D
Who the hell is calling Dr. Jackie to find out how to make a roux? You understand that? That is butter. Jackie's a no. That is flour. Jackie is a no. That is cheese. Jackie is a no. Why? Unless you're calling to find out, you know when we're going to give the animals rights in awe, don't call Jackie.
C
She's like, okay, Mac and cheese. What you do is you get a Mack truck, you put all the cheese in the Mack truck, and you drive it off a cliff. Mac and cheese.
D
So no one ever gets large.
C
And she has no idea, by the way. She has no idea because she's like.
F
Okay, listen, bitch, I want to know if you know how to make macaroni and cheese. Because I'm trying to make it and I got the macaroni. So how do you make macaroni and cheese? How do you make it?
D
Like. Okay, well, first off, you're going to need to boil the pasta.
F
She's like, I know that. She actually goes, okay, no doy. No doy.
D
Which I love. Nice 90s reference.
C
And then she's like, okay. And you're going to cook it for 40 minutes and bring it back down.
E
It says 46 minutes. 40 minutes, Jackie. We are about to burn some ship. Just stick to vaginas.
D
Jackie has no idea. She's like, well, okay, you're gonna boil the pasta, and there's also cheeses in that. So you're gonna need to get lots. Lots of cheeses. Different kinds of cheese, Jackie. It's cheddar cheese, Jackie. Right? Just get whatever kinds of cheeses that they have. And then you'll need to put that in there with some Popsicle.
F
No, not Popsicles.
C
Okay? What you do is you get some collagen.
E
No, no. No collagen in there.
C
Do you think when she said 40 minutes, she meant put it in the oven for 40 minutes? Because there's. I just can't imagine anyone would cook pasta, boil pasta for 40 minutes. Unless she wants to turn the pasta into its own sauce.
D
No, I'm guessing she means in the oven, but I don't. She doesn't know how to make it.
C
I don't know. She doesn't know.
D
Yeah, she doesn't know how to make it. So now we go to Simone's house where Cecil is making his Mac. And she's like, how do you feel about this Mac and cheese? Cook off. And he's like, well, I know that my Mac and cheese is great, so, you know, I know what mine's gonna do. And she's like, you are the Mac to the cheese. Isn't this a fun scene? Now? Let's fight.
C
I know. So they're talking about how, like, Eugene thinks he's gonna kick some ass, but Cecil's really gonna be the one to do. He's gonna be really good. But before we actually get to the fight, we then go over to Toya's house where actually Ashton the son is cooking and he's really cute. He's like. He's like, well, I'm making a roux, and then I'm gonna be making a bechamel. Did you mean to put snow salt in your bechamel sauce? Sorry, Gosa Padma doesn't care who she haunts. If you're cooking and you're not famous, I'm there.
D
He's like, well, when did you go to the Cordon Bleu and learn how to cook, son? And she's like, well, we definitely have this Mac and cheese competition in the bag. Because Ashton has taken on Eugene's style of cooking, and he enjoys making things difficult. No matter what, everything's got to be difficult. They don't use the microwave.
C
His plan is to cook the Mac and cheese in one green egg and then transfer it to a second green egg and finish it there.
D
I'm like, where's the ham? Where's the ham?
C
So then we go back to Simone's, and she's like, they're talking about the Mac and cheese, and she's talking about what? She's like, I used to make Mac and cheese. And he's like, well, you mean Kraft Mac and Cheese. And she's like, the box. Mac and ch. Here's the thing. I have my staples. I got spaghetti. I've got barbecue baked chicken and chili. And everyone loves my chili. Bet you can't believe this is about to turn into a real fight.
D
She's like, wait a minute. Why are you laughing about my chili? And he goes, well, I'm just laughing, babe, because the chili you're making is the one that's out of the package. And she goes, that is why I stopped cooking, because you're hating on me. You, Miles and Michael, you are not appreciative. Me opening the box and pouring the things into a pan.
C
So here it is. You don't respect me. Which, by the way, they don't. So she's like, this has been a year of realization. Nobody appreciates the doctor. And it has weighed on me heavily that you and the boys, no one has ever said to me, what can I do to take something else off your plate? What can I do to make life easier for you? You know, Cecil's like, you see, I'm the one making the Mac and cheese right now, right? For your show. But she's right, though, you know, because he now he gets mad.
E
He's like, what do you mean I don't ever do anything for you? Of course I do anything. Of course I do stuff for you.
C
She's like, well, I mean, with the boys. Why not with the boys?
D
And he's like, no, I see it, but do you see where I'm coming from? A minute ago, after you said, I've never done anything to take stress off, like, is he so good? Gets way worked up in this. And he's like, and if you can say something that hurts feelings and then apologize, then I can say something that hurts feelings and apologize and we should be able to move on. And that's what people are supposed to do. And she's like, okay, that would be amazing. I'm going to discontinue this mad at my husband scene because my husband is too worked up and has seen that I'm supposed to be worked up up. I'm going to smile and laugh and blow this conversation off now. Thank you, thank you.
C
And he's like. He's like, you know, I. I could have picked some soft, quiet woman to fall in love with because I'm soft spoken. And then they wind up laughing and.
D
He says, yeah, you're soft spoken when you sleep. And they start cracking up. Meanwhile, at Toya's house, she's like, oh, oh, Ashton, I don't know what you're doing with your rule or whatever. And he's like, actually, I'm turning it into a bechamel. And she's like, okay, but that better be damn good. People better say the tasty original rule. Whatever you make it over there.
C
It's like, oh my God, get out.
D
Of my kitchen, mother.
C
So now it's a family reunion. It's like a rec center kind of place and gathering, community hall, whatever. And so heavenly is setting up. And so, you know, she's saying how Contessa's not coming, they don't have to worry about her food. And no, she says, contessa.
D
She says, contessa is not coming so we don't have to worry about her taking all the damn food home.
C
Oh, So. So she's like, people coming in.
E
She's like, there's daddy. Daddy. You made a daddy Daddy. Get over your daddy.
C
So she's really happy. And. And then Zach comes and she's like.
F
Oh, is your brother coming, Zach?
D
And he goes, I don't know. Did you tell him?
F
She goes, have you spoke to him?
D
Zach goes, did you call him?
F
And she goes, well, I mean, I texted him and told him, but have you spoken to him?
D
And he's like, well, I'm maybe two weeks ago.
F
She's like, for real? I didn't know that you Spoke to him. Okay, well, that's good.
D
That's good.
C
Zach is like, leave me out of this, please.
D
Yeah.
C
And then Simone and her family show up and everything, and then Toya and her family arrive, and there's a lot of like, oh, my God, Hi. And everyone's in different colors because they're like, different teams and stuff. So it's a lot of people just arriving. For a while, it felt like real houses of Beverly Hills, except instead of people wowing fashion, they were just kind of like, wowing like tins of Mac and cheese instead.
A

C
Love y'.
F
All.
D
So Cecil is like, well, hello, Harris family. You all came out here strong in the yellow. And Toya is like, did you see the buzzards taller than me?
F
And Evelyn goes, yeah, both of them. They're taller than Eugene, too.
D
And she goes, nuh. And he's like, no, they're not. Where he goes, oh, yeah, well, your other son. So he's the only one that shows up today. Call.
C
Yeah.
D
Come on.
C
That was so low. Right in front of Zach, too. It was so low. And he's like, well, this is a.
E
Family reunion, so don't start any.
C
And Toy was like, no, I'm just waiting for the rest of the family. So go. And Toy just starts cracking up. She's, like, so proud of her. Her dig and, you know, like, heavenly's.
E
Like this if there weren't children here right now.
C
So Mimi comes up and everything, and then. And then king and quad show up in, like, a Ferrari, which is so extra for this this cute, like, family reunion kind of activity where people making Mac and cheese or bringing Mac and cheese.
D
Today we're showing off the rari. Yeah, Come on, baby. So Toya's like, okay, they traded their Rolls Royce for a Ferrari or what? And new jeans. Like, oh, yeah, King King's T shirt says web. And Simone's like, they are not married.
C
Need.
F
Well, quad and a Ferrari and I mean, wait, wait a minute. Why do you need all those damn shirts?
D
Quad has like a hundred shirts. And she's like, you know, we brought people. We've got family, 20 people. I love it.
C
Yeah, she brought like a giant. Giant squad. You can't spell squad without quad. So then angel and a guy arrives and everyone's like, wait a second, who's that? I thought she said she was single and everything. And Toya's Angel. Who's this person? Angel? You know, angel has asked me on multiple occasions. Introduced her to one of Eugene's friends, preferably a doctor. And I thought your hot girl season was over, but she's like, mad that angel actually found someone outside of Toya's purview.
D
Yeah. So Quad and Jackie are talking about the egg retrieval and that they got four. And Jackie's like, you can do this. You can do this. Now how do you make Mac and cheese? Someone needs to tell me. So Heavenly gets on the mic and.
F
She'S like, alright, can I get your attention? We just want to thank everybody for coming. It means so much to me this year made us realize how important family is and how important. How important real purses are not to a family. To a family. They can't eat the purses. Toya, I'm just saying. Toya, I'm just saying. Now I don't show many emotions, but.
E
When I do, I start to talk like this. So I just wanted to thank my.
F
Brother for reaching out to us. And he does already have a whole rack of new teeth, so congratulations to him.
D
Congratulations.
C
Heavenly saying she doesn't show a lot of emotions when she cursed out her son so badly that he has left the house and refuses to talk to his parents.
E
I'm not a very emotional person, though.
C
So now it's time for the Mac and cheese thing. And so Toya goes and stands by the vote box and she's like monitoring every vote that goes in there. And, like, she's like putting yellow votes because yellow's her color. And people like, wait a second. No, no, no.
D
I didn't.
C
I didn't vote for yellow. Oh, really?
A
Sorry.
C
I was like, wow. If there's ever been a metaph metaphor for 2026, it's toya and the voting box.
D
Oh, gosh.
C
Yeah.
D
She's like, oh, you said yellow. They're like, no, I said five for red. Okay.
C
It's like, we can't trust any systems anymore, Jack.
D
Like, Toya tricked me and had me vote pink, and it wasn't even my macaroni.
F
And Evan's like, she is cheating.
C
So then starts, you know, there's a thunderstorm and Toya. Toya is still pushing yellow very, very hard. And now they're all suspicious of Toya. He's like, why are you okay?
E
Why do you get to be a George? This is my.
C
She's like, well, I just want to make sure everyone has a chance to vote. Right. Everyone vote. Vote.
D
All. All.
C
All. All ballots are accepted, but only the yellow ones. Thank you very much, everyone.
D
Yeah. And Toya's like, oh, Ashton won. Ashton won. I'm like, you cheated. That's why she a quad. It's okay. We won't see. Sassy. Sassy ass. It's like, you cheated.
C
You cheated.
D
It's like, it's okay. You. Are you going to tell that child that he didn't win? Go ahead, y'. All. Just so you know, Ashton won. Ashton won. Like, cheater.
C
I wish.
D
Much better for a child's self confidence to leave a party with like 50 people yelling cheater at him.
C
I know, right? I wish we could have seen more of the Mac and cheese. I think if anything, they should have done like a parody Top Chef moment where we saw, like, the plates of Mac and cheese and we could have, like, judged because I would have liked to have weighed in, but I didn't have enough to go on. I assumed that quads was going to be the best. And I did notice that her Cooking with quad cookbook was still prominently displayed on her shelf in her kitchen.
D
Yeah, good for her. She's had a couple of cookbooks, hasn't she? She should.
C
I trust her cooking. Yeah.
D
Yeah. So Toya cheated to get her kid the win. Congratulations, Ashton. So now she goes up Angel. Toya is just in a destroyer mood. So she sees angel sitting there with her new guy and she comes over and she's like, so what part of the family are you in? And she's like, that's my. It's my friend. That's my friend. She's like, you're what? You're stuttering? And he's like, he's a close friend. Very close. How long you all been talking. And he's like, oh, about a decade. She's like, a decade? A decade.
C
Angel's like, well, Toya's very inquisitive. Sorry about this. Did I mention he's a doctor? And Toya's like, so this is the woman? He's like, she's like, well, we used to date Toya. And he's. She's like, oh, really? Really? And Bernard, this guy Bernard's like, well, we'll see. We'll see. Oh, really? Because I. You found out that I was gonna hook her up, right? Because she told me she wanted me to hook her up, right? She's. She's looking at the guys. I'm like, toya, why are you being such a blocker right now?
D
Toya is such an. And this guy's like, damn. And she's like, tori, oh, wait a minute. No, no, tell me a bit more. Tell me more. She goes, no, I did say you have a nice husband, and I wish I had a man like that. And do you and Eugene have friends? I did say that. Okay. I did say that. It's like, okay, well, what do you want to be, Bernard? Do you want to be with her? And he's like, well, I mean, that's why I'm here. I'm here for a reason. She goes, okay, so what's the problem then? The why she's looking for other man. I don't know.
C
Maybe like, we should resurrect Millionaire Matchmaker with Toya. Okay, do you like her? Do you like her? So why aren't you married? What's going on? And she just could break up everything that seems like it's going well. So Toya goes, so how is she in bed? And she's like, what? This is. Okay, enough. Bye. Bye, Toya. Toya is such an. This season, every episode, she is such an.
D
I know, but she's funny, so I don't know. I forgive it. I forgive it. But yeah, she really so heavenly is like. She calls everyone for a dance off, and she's like, I've never had a.
F
Big family before, so this is amazing. And next year, the Times Family reunion will have all the children. Angel will be married to Bernard. Toya won't ask any more damn messy questions. Her. Her child will be in prison for cheating.
E
Mac and cheese. Cheating.
C
That is so. It's cute. Everyone's dancing, and it's a fun time.
D
We don't know a lot about this because, like, we just saw people, you know, kind of having fun or dancing or Whatever. We didn't get into, like, a lot of nitty gritty details. But there's one thing I can promise you. There were a lot of farts at this family reunion. A lot of farts.
C
Yeah, this was. It was a very sweet, lovely scene and a little bit boring. So then we go to Quad's house, and this is a typical Quad and King banter that he's, like, in one room, and he gets a call from Quad, and he's like, why are you calling me? You're right next door.
E
It's just easier to call you. And I'm nervous.
C
I just got a text message from Mary at the hospital.
E
I also got a text message saying, we're running out of time. The Democrats are losing. And it was all in caps. It was very true. Triggering for me.
C
So please just come up in here. Please help me out.
D
And he's like, okay, I'm on my way. So we got. Do we have good news? Four boys. What, you're gonna solidify the throne? Give me an heir, Masculine child. Come on. What is it? She's like, we know you're all about your masculinity. We got it, King. We got it. So she's like, should I read it? Should you read it? And he's like, just sit down and read it. So she gets a message from them saying that she had four embryos initially. One reached the marula stage by day six, but that's slow in terms of development. And the other three are still at a cleavage stage. And he's like, well, at least they got cleavage. She's like, that's not what it means.
F
That's not. It's not a good thing.
C
I said I wanted masculine babies. Now they already got tits.
E
No, stop saying that. And Ronnie hates that word.
C
So. So rude. Rude. But basically, this is how we say.
F
It in the medical community.
D
Boobies only, please.
C
Or breasticles.
F
Thank you.
C
But basically, it's not the news that she wanted.
D
It's.
C
It's. It's. It sounds like this is not taking. And King says it very eloquently. So basically, it didn't work.
E
She goes, oh, I feel like a failure. That's how I really feel.
C
And then there's, like, a very long beat. And then King realizes he's supposed to say something. He goes, you're not a failure. Come here. Come. Come here. Into my cleavage. And so then she's like, it's just so tough. And she's, like, really distraught. It's. It's hard, obviously.
D
Yeah.
C
You know, it's really. You know, you pin a lot of hopes and dreams in this process, and it's. It's a long and difficult process, and it's everything we've heard from our friends who've gone through it or people we've seen, that's like an emotional roller coaster that takes a toll. So she's really. She's like, oh, God, I thought. I thought this would be it. I thought I was over having to stick. They all. They also thought they were going to be able to do it in one round, and now here they are going to another one, and another one fails. And King decides that this is a great time to be like, well, maybe. I don't know, maybe it's taking too much of a toll on you and it's going to weigh on you. And football season's coming up and I don't really want to miss the playoffs, so maybe we do something else.
D
I was like, you gotta. Yeah. He's like, you gotta think about your mental health.
C
Health.
D
Yeah. It's not. Yeah. She's like, sobbing right now. Maybe now's not the time. And so she cries more and she's like, so are you saying you don't want to do this? And he says, well, I'm not saying I don't want to, but, like, let's be a realistic. You know, I'm okay with not having any more kids, but I decided to take this journey with you because I want to support you and do it for you, but it's a very expensive process, you know?
C
She's like. And she's like, we knew that. Like, don't throw that back in my face. And he's like, no, no. He's like, oh, no. I just. I knew it was expensive, but we thought we were going to get it done in one room around. I was like, king, I hate. Like, that would be nice, but I feel like it's also very optimistic, you know? And so she's just like, she. She feels like. I feel like at this moment, he needs to be like, I've got you. I love you. I'm there for you. This is not the moment to have, like, let's have a reality check when she's, like, very distraught about it. Like, just. Just be there for her emotionally and discuss this the next day, you know? But instead he's like, well, maybe. Maybe. Maybe this is the end of the line for this process, and that's really not what she wants to hear.
D
Yeah. And she's like, well, then why don't we just Say that I'll just keep doing this and you won't have to spend another dime. And he's like, well, it's not about the money. And she's like, but you just brought up money. Yeah, after you took me to a family barbecue in a Ferrari. You brought up the money, by the way, and.
C
But then he's like, well, take the money out of it. He basically says, take the money out of it. It's still like, there's the hormones, there's the travel time. What. Where does it end? Which is also kind of like, don't put the harm. Like, don't throw the hormones back at her, you know? And, I mean, the travel time, I think is fair, but I think that's where you say, why don't we move this process to America? Let's. Because it seems like we may have to do this for a few more rounds, and let's not add travel to the process. Yada, yada, yada. I don't know.
D
Yeah, this sucks, because she's going to be having a baby with someone who just doesn't seem to want to be having a baby. I mean, if you're. If you're having a baby with a guy who's like, I don't want a baby. I'm just doing this for you. I mean, I know that that probably happens in a lot of relationships where someone wants another one, the other person isn't that excited. And it's like, the other person doesn't necessarily need to be vilified forever for not wanting a kid. Like, that's fair, too. That one doesn't want one as bad as the other. But I don't know, man. It's like, you see how bad she wants this, and your response is.
C
I just think it. Yeah, I just think it. Like, the timing could be a little bit better on his part. She's really upset. And I think what you do is if. If this is how he genuinely feels, I think what you just say is, we're gonna. We'll figure something out. We'll figure something out. And then the next day or two, then you sort of come back to and be like, it broke my heart to see how upset you were. I don't want to see you upset. Like, we can be happy without children, yada, yada. But, like, I think right there in that moment to, like, force that conversation. Not force it, but just to, like, have that conversation. When really the.
D
The.
C
The energy should be about making sure the love of your life is feeling supported and loved and comforted So I didn't. I didn't like his timing on this.
D
Yeah. Oh, what a bummer.
C
Well, that was a great way to.
D
End the episode was a shorter recap, but this. A lot of it was that family reunion. It was just. A lot of it was that family reunion of people just. It was going to be going back.
F
And forth and being.
C
Hi.
F
Do you love your mom?
D
I love my mom.
F
That's great. You like Mac and cheese? I love Mac and cheese.
C
Yeah. We really can't emphasize how. How much airtime is dedicated to people entering into this reunion. I mean, it was really a very long time. I mean, it's like. And it was like. And when it wasn't the reunion, it was like little Stevie and Mimi is exhausted. I'm like, oh, my God, let's do 10 minutes on that. Making fun of the them. So it wasn't really an episode that was full of super funny moments, but it was still actually an entertaining episode. I actually enjoyed it. You know, I don't normally like these episodes where it's just like, here's a slice of life and people having fun, but I actually enjoyed it. I just didn't have anything to say about it.

Hosts: Ben Mandelker & Ronnie Karam
Air Date: January 12, 2026
Ben and Ronnie recap Season 12, Episode 6 of "Married to Medicine," focusing on the episode's blend of lighthearted family reunions, relationship dramas, and the ongoing IVF storyline. The hosts revel in the Bravo chaos, dishing out praise and shade in their trademark playful, sarcastic tone. This episode features hilarious Mac and cheese competitions, surprising new family members, emotionally charged fertility struggles, and plenty of character-driven banter.
The episode strikes a balance between Bravo-style hijinks and genuine emotional vulnerability. Ben and Ronnie’s affectionate mockery, quick banter, and sharp observations make even the most mundane scenes engaging for listeners. While much of the episode is devoted to watching the cast enjoy a reunion and dance-off, the central emotional weight comes from Quad’s IVF struggles and the mixed support she receives from King. The hosts criticize King’s lack of timing, highlight the endless cycles of petty drama, and ultimately celebrate the comedic gold of Bravo’s family dysfunction.
Final Thought:
Fun family messes, food competitions, and real moments of struggle—classic "Married To Medicine," filtered through Ben and Ronnie’s hilarious (and sometimes heartfelt) lens.
