Watch what happens. Watch what crap is. Who cares what happens when there's so much happens? Overlimited who cares what happens? But there's so much that happens. Hello and welcome to Watch our Crappin, a podcast about all that crap on Bravo that we just love to talk about. I'm Ben Manker and joining me today here in New York City in the city is the one and only and beautiful Ronnie Caram.
Ben Manker
Hi Ronnie, how are you? Hey, how are you?
Ronnie Caram
Good. I'm so excited to be back for in the City. Go follow us Patreon.com Watch for crappins for ad free video newsletter and bonus episodes. All the good stuff we talked about Bon Love island on the bonus this week and without further ado, let's just like dive right into in yeah, just
Ben Manker
had a really long summer house reunion part three. So in the city how we go buddies.
Ronnie Caram
Yes. The big thing.
Ben Manker
Thank God for Kenny. God, it's nice to have a fresh douchebag to root again, right? Geez, I'm so sick of rooting against the same douchebag. It's nice to have way and now Kenny because West is like a very wussy like villain. He's like why lip biting villain? Whereas Kenny is just like I'm here
Ronnie Caram
to up finance bro villain. It's great.
Ben Manker
Yes. It's like I'm here to everything up with everybody and everybody on this cast will hate me halfway through the season.
Ronnie Caram
Yes. So Whitney has just confronted him about telling people that this there's no spark and that the future is murky because she was told that by Lexi who learned that From Andrea, who learned that from Kyle, who learned that from Kenny. So.
Ben Manker
And to be telling. To be. And then Kenny is just like, yeah. So I said there was no spark, but I didn't mean it in a bad way.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
What does that mean? And also, he's telling her this at Tucci, a restaurant called Tucci. And Stanley Tucci is, like, the ultimate friend zone. Like, that's a friend zone. We're a person at Stanley Tucci. So this is rough. Yeah.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah. So he basically is like. Well, I mean, the conversation I had with Kyle, like, the point that I made to him was that I used to be more in this, like, storybook mindset, and now I feel like I'm in this place where I think about, like, lifelong commitment. I just have a hard time getting excited about it. And, like, where that spark is. I'm, like, just not excited about life. I'm not excited about commitment. So I don't have a spark for commitment, basically. So spark is probably the wrong word. But it wasn't that we have no. It's not that we have no spark. We've got, like, a great, great spark and great energy, and we're super connected. And I. I really feel, like, so much spark. I. I feel it so much.
Ben Manker
I'm just really, you know, look, look, it's not that I don't feel a spark. It's that I feel no excitement about committing to you.
Ronnie Caram
You know what it is? It's like, I don't like to think about you.
Ben Manker
Yeah.
Ronnie Caram
But there's this out.
Ben Manker
It's like, ah, I mean, you're so pretty. But then I think about, like, oh, my God, she's still going to be here tomorrow. And it's like, gross, you know, so you don't take that personally, right?
Ronnie Caram
Crazy.
Ben Manker
Don't be crazy.
Ronnie Caram
You just, you know, you just moved across the country. You brought some little wooden balls. That was cute. And I really feel good about that. And, like, you know, we're not perfect, but, like, we are in a great place, specifically my place that you're in and taking over and other people trying to pull coals in. It just like. It's just noise. And this is why I get so defensive, because I just don't feel like you deserve it. I don't feel like someone I have lukewarm feelings about deserves this much pain.
Ben Manker
You don't deserve to be told that I don't have feelings for you. I was saying that in private to somebody else. How can they try to poke holes in this relationship? Oh, my God. You were trying to get a girlfriend to have on the TV screen.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
Just admit it. And Whitney, you're with this guy for the same reason. I mean, give me a break. It's hard to feel for Whitney when she's just like, oh, okay, so. But, like, you're not saying, like, when you say no spark, you just mean no spark, right? And he's like, yeah. She's like, okay, okay.
Ronnie Caram
I'm like, you're not on fire. It was a very literal thing. When I said there's no spark, I meant, like, you are currently, like, not aflame.
Ben Manker
And so he's like, Well, I spent 10 minutes talking to Kyle about how amazing Whitney was. And we see him being like, wow, God, Whitney just so happy all the time, you know? Get yourself a happy one.
Ronnie Caram
That's good.
Ben Manker
Just smiles all the time. You complain about her wood balls. What does she do? She cries a little bit, but she's back to being happy. Thank God. A woman who was just a smile on her face.
Ronnie Caram
What? So then she says, well, but you also refer to our future as, like, murky or something. He's like, what? Our future is murky. I don't say the M word. That's crazy. Who would have ever said that? So now we cut to Andrea and Lexi, and they're out with Yvonne and Nick the day before. And Andrea's like, well, Kenny described it like, the day. Like a day. Today it's good, but, like, tomorrow, like, it could be murky.
Ben Manker
You know, he's like, I never said the word murky. At least not that I'm aware of.
Ronnie Caram
Sounds like your awareness of murky is a bit murky. Yes, exactly.
Ben Manker
And also the fact that you're like, not. Not that I'm aware. He just said your relationship is murky. I mean, the fact that he's going to go semantics on this is crazy.
Ronnie Caram
Right? But. Well, of course he's going to, because it gets him out of trouble. Because everyone focuses on that. I mean, you just literally said something about, like, I'm in a place where I think about lifelong commitment. I just have a hard time getting excited about it. So would it be fair to say that when you think about this relationship, the outlook is maybe murky for you?
Ben Manker
Yeah. And it's not fair because it's versus Andrea. And he's like, but what? I didn't say the word murky. I just meant. You meant murky. He's like, I did not.
Ronnie Caram
How dare you say murky? I said merkin. So Penny is like, so he's Like,
Ben Manker
I mean, look, the server is like, I'm so sorry for the interruption of your food. So sorry.
Ronnie Caram
Whitney's like, I just, like, want to know that, like, you want this to work. He's like, of course. I can't wait for you to move out. I mean, move in, stay in, but move out. I. I can't wait to throw out all your.
Ben Manker
Of course I want you to work. Otherwise you're going to be in my apartment all day with all your boxes. I want kids. I want a family with somebody. I don't know. Name probably doesn't even rhyme with Whitney, let's face it. But, hey, we're shooting for six weeks, so. Welcome.
Ronnie Caram
Look, you literally left all of your friends. You left your entire world to come. Come here and be on a TV show. I mean, to date me. And that's a big deal. And you know it's going to make you emotional, and that's why I've been so protective of you. I'm just protecting you. I do. Oh, and I do think that losing my mom. I underestimate.
Ben Manker
No, no, no, no. Dead sir, you just got called out on saying you have no spark with this lady and possibly that your relationship is murky. You've got to leave your mom passing
Ronnie Caram
away out of this.
Ben Manker
I say you died. The car denied she died, but, you know, hard tonight. She died.
Ronnie Caram
Oh, my God. He's crying a little bit. Like, he's so vulnerable.
Ben Manker
He's like, but it's the first birthday without getting a call from my mom. Kenny, that is disgusting that you are using your mother right now, sir. That's horrible. Who does that?
Ronnie Caram
Kenny? And so she says, Whitney is like. I mean, of course I wish he was, like, not as fearful or had reservations about marriage and future, because obviously I want that. But I see him pinpointing these things, like, trying to work through them, and that's why I really believe in him, in our relationship. The translation is, I'm going to fix it.
Ben Manker
No, Whitney. Oh, my God. So she's like, wow, that really put it in perspective, you know? Like, it's the same with this drama. Like, we know where we are, you know? So, sure, it's a little murky. I never said murky. Sure. You know, But I don't know. This is great. Great conversation. This was great. I love Stanley Tucci. So then we go to Kyle, who's walking the dog, and the dog's trying to run the hell away.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
And is he just sharing custody with the dogs? With Amanda? Because we see him with the he only has one today, right? One dog.
Ronnie Caram
I feel like he doesn't really care about the dogs. I think he's like, happy to give them off to Amanda. So Lindsay arrives with Gemma as. As Amanda's packing.
Ben Manker
And this baby is so cute.
Ronnie Caram
It's a funny baby, full of a lot of personality.
Ben Manker
This is like really cute.
Ronnie Caram
Really good baby.
Ben Manker
Really good.
Ronnie Caram
So Amanda's like, well, guess what? Remember, I'm gonna like, go to that new apartment. There's been like a change of plans. I'm sorry. I'm doing my invitation of Lindsay. She's like, that was really good of you, Amanda. Thank you. So I love the place that we saw together, but the change of plans is that it fell through. So basically I can't afford it. So in my searches, I found like a new building that has like an insane outdoor space and they show like this little like, piece of Astroturf and says outdoor space.
Ben Manker
God, bl. Yeah, it's like this big, the outdoor space. It's insane. And she's like, yeah, like, I had to sign a year long lease, though. She gives that smile like, Amanda, you know you were planning this a whole lot the whole time. Stop being such a wuss. Just leave that man.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, exactly. Ls like a year long, not furnished. She's like, I'm out here thinking that we're packing clothes to like move into like a furnished up lease for like a month, but like, we're back into like, they gave this apartment. This is like a very big change. It's like when Julan closed down, like, what does this even mean?
Ben Manker
So she asked if. If a Matt has told Kyle and she's like, I mean, did I get him to weigh in on it? No, but like, we've talked. Have I talked about it with him? Yes. I think it's very important that I have lots of conversations. It's time for a commercial. It's time for a crappin's commercial.
Ronnie Caram

guys. And then a big thing happens. Katie arrives. It's Katie. Katie friend of friend of Katie arrives. Does Katie know the updates? So now they have to tell Katie everything. And Katie's like, wow. So now Amanda is like, yeah, I haven't really thought about it too much. I just feel like. I mean, this, like, weird limbo where it's like, what am I doing? Like, some of my stuff is back, some of it's not. I'm like, a lot more packing to do because it's, like, empty.
Ben Manker
So they talk about how Katie's been trying to make babies, and Lindsay's like, I've been trying not to make babies. Like, I have a friend coming to town this weekend. And we see pictures of Lindsay and singer Dustin Lynch. He's an old friend. He's maybe supposed to perform at my wedding, but didn't Lindsay. Only Lindsay is like, I'm banging the guy who was supposed to perform at the wedding. I didn't have.
Ronnie Caram
Yes, yes. Seriously. So she's saying how historically, when she's been single, she's had a roster, but, like, now she doesn't really have a roster. She just has the milkman. So she's basically gonna go for this guy. And then Kyle arrives in the middle of this, and they, like, all don't know what to do. They all get silent. He's just, like, around the corner, and
Ben Manker
he just goes to the room. He doesn't even say hi or anything. All right. A bunch of ladies talking about me.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, it's awkward. So now we go to Williamsburg, where Nick is wiping down an Eames chair of some sort. And Yvonne's like, hi, babe. How's it going? What are you working on? He's like, well, the usual. Okay, well, I brought up the tequila and paninis. He's like, cool, I'm starving. So his whole thing is that he restores.
Ben Manker
It's funny watching new people on shows because they actually eat. Like, watching them eat their sandwiches was so uncomfortable. I'm like, you're not supposed to do that. You're on tv. Like, leave it there. Yeah, you're just supposed to move your mouth a little bit like you're in the chorus of Oklahoma. You're not supposed to actually eat this thing. Yeah, but yeah, like you were gonna say, he restores furniture. This guy is a ripoff artist. And, you know, I love my mid century modern stuff. So I just did that in my house. And it was crazy. The people try to get away with. They'll find on the side of the road and, like, shellack it and be like, that is $19,000. And we see some chairs that he's selling ducks, dining chairs. Do ducks. $12,000, girl, what the hell? I could buy a time machine for that much money and go back to the 50s and get some furniture. That's just crazy. So they're talking about babies and stuff. And a little bit we hear about his business that he does this mid mod thing and sells it to a lot of stars and billionaires, people who've performed at the super bowl, you guys.
Ronnie Caram
Well, it's official. He sold a chair to share, so he didn't say which super bowl it was, to be fair. So then he just sold it to one of the trees on Bad Bunny's performance.
Ben Manker
It's Bad Bunny, Joel's, Aaron's. Like, when are you gonna sell a duck's dining chair to some white people?
Ronnie Caram
It felt political. Felt political. I didn't like it. So she's basically talking about how she is trying to sell cookies on the corner street because she's been laid off for the past seven and seven and a half years. I was the vice president, marketing of one of the largest hospitality groups in the world. So I go from, like, people constantly calling me and needing me to, like, getting laid off and, like, it was like, the first time that I could actually just, like, be off my phone and just be like, wow. And he's like, well, you're still.
Ben Manker
You're still on your phone.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
He doesn't have you notice nothing really on his face moves. He has this, like, incredulous look on his face, and he's just like, but you're still on your phone all the time.
Ronnie Caram
They're a very blase couple.
Ben Manker
They are. I like her. I like them both. But he seemed. I can't tell if he's mad at me. I don't know. I wouldn't know how to read this.
Ronnie Caram
He's cheating, right?
Ben Manker
I don't know.
Ronnie Caram
I kind of get that vibe.
Ben Manker
Really? You think it's cheating?
Ronnie Caram
I kind of get the vibe in a weird way.
Ben Manker
H. Well, I guess we'll find out. They're pregnant, though. I saw on, you know what, the Internet.
Ronnie Caram
So I didn't know that she's pregnant, but I saw in a one of her interview looks later, I was like, she's pregnant because her boobs were bigger all of a sudd. And she was, like, a little bit more filled out in a way that, like, yeah, she's pregnant.
Ben Manker
There's posts of her, like, he's, like, rubbing her belly from behind. And we all know that a guy on this show wouldn't cheat on a pregnant lady. Oh, sorry, Georgina's. Guy. The men on the show are pigs. No, I feel bad on these shows.
Ronnie Caram
I guess I should say I feel beyond for posing.
Ben Manker
He's somewhere, like, sitting on a really expensive used Eames chair, like, oh, excuse me. How do you say that?
Ronnie Caram
I do love the boldness of someone coming onto Bravo whose, like, main thing in life is restoring things because nothing ever gets restored on this network. It's just always decline. Everything is declined on Bravo.
Ben Manker
This is the show of restoration. The faces get a restoration every season. That's the whole point of Bravo.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, but it's never quite.
Ben Manker
Kyle Richards gets two restorations a year. I don't even know how she does it. I'm like, how does her face heal that quickly?
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, but it, but no one can ever recapture it, ever. Anyway, now we go back to Lindsay pressing, well, listen, so now we scheduled a necklift.
Ben Manker
So wrong. We're not having this conversation.
Ronnie Caram
That's not restoration. That's corrective. Okay, so then we go to Lindsay's apartment, and Andrea and Lexi are there, and Lindsay's offering them some, you know, rose and stuff. And she's like, well, they always say that man should, like, not drink for three months while they're trying to conceive, because now Andrea really wants to have a baby.
Ben Manker
And so that's not true. I mean, how many men have gotten people pregnant while they're wasted? I mean, that's. Hello. Stop disrupting the order of the bowling alley. That's how I was born. My DNA has Franzia in it.
Ronnie Caram
So Gemma's crying. They go check on Gemma and everything. And basically, basically, Andrea and Lexi are excited to have the baby. Lindsay's excited to have more friends with babies. And then we go back to Nick and Yvonne where Nick is like, baby, no, gross. Now get it away from me.
Ben Manker
It's like, I want a baby, though. He's like, you've wanted a baby since our second date. She's like, no, you mean that we wanted to have the baby. And he's like, I'm still not moving in my face, but I'm horrified.
Ronnie Caram
You know, I, I, I know you're, you know, you said, I know your maternal clock is ticking. And I went into getting married with the intention of the idea that we be building a family. He's like, he's like, I just worry about time, you know, because I know we will be great parents. Like, yeah, well, guess what time is here. Okay. I feel like you're trying to delay
Ben Manker
for the sake of it.
Ronnie Caram
And, like, I think our plans are Right. And. And, like, we're supposed to have a baby together.
Ben Manker
Yeah. He's like. She's like, you're moving the goalposts, so. Oh, guy nervous to have a baby. So now let's go to Danielle's apartment.
Ronnie Caram
Future baby. Baby Haver. Baby. Baby Brewer, I should say.
Ben Manker
We get. We get two. Two scenes of people talking about babies. Cut to Danielle going, these flowers are dead.
Ronnie Caram
So then Owen comes in, and she's like, by the way, I just went shopping, and I'm gonna let you put these in the fridge because I know you like organizing the refrigerator. He's like, oh, yes, my favorite thing to do. Organizing refrigerator. So he's, like, a bit, like, of a neat freak, it turns out. Like, he will make the bed while she's still in it. And he's like, well, that's me kind of saying, you should probably be up.
Ben Manker
Yeah. So she's like, well, I didn't get to download you on what happened, but I had a coffee date with Lindsay. So we see a flashback to that.
Ronnie Caram
They didn't get to download me. Oh, isn't that what your app says to everyone out there in the world?
Ben Manker
Just like my app, I give that conversation one star. So she talks about the meeting with Lindsay, and Lindsay was pretty receptive, and she thinks it's okay because Lindsay invited her to brunch, so that's good.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
Lindsay didn't throw anything at her.
Ronnie Caram
She's like, well, I think she said that you used the word baby steps. So I was just like, okay, baby steps, and I want a baby.
Ben Manker
Me too.
Ronnie Caram
So then Danielle's like. I mean, also, by the way, I'm really mad at Amanda because I feel like Amanda was, like, really instrumental in being mean to me, etc, And. And then there's this whole thing where she's now, like, annoyed at Amanda and Kyle because she feels like they're, like, piling onto. Piling onto her situation with Lindsay and everything. And she's like, I'm not. You know, Amanda's not gonna get a ton of. I'm sorry. For me, at the moment, I'm just like. Just the way she goes about things. She just really grinds my gears.
Ben Manker
Yeah, I really. Yeah. Really grinds my gears. And I like that she was like, amanda and I have always hated each other. Like, yeah, I don't like Amanda. Why would I apologize to Amanda?
Ronnie Caram
Yeah. So basically, the gossip got out that Danielle was with Owen, and the gossip was sort of like, oh, Danielle's with a married man. And then there was a screenshot of this that, like, circulated into, like, a group text with, like, Kyle and Amanda, and they were, like, laughing, and she found out because of Katie's husband, Matt. And so now Danielle was, like, really unhappy with them.
Ben Manker
Yeah, well, Ian's like, well, what are there, like, 10 people at the brunch or something? I'm assuming that probably wasn't the best. The best little scenari to discuss. And she's like, yeah, well, I started dating Owen four months after he was separated from his ex. And then an article came out spreading rumors that I'm a home wrecker.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah. So she's like, to hear all these things that are said behind my back while I'm possibly on the lirr is just very frustrating. But you know what? Have the balls to tell me to my face as well, because we have enough going on. There's a refrigerator that needs to be organized. Okay, so. And Amanda has enough going on, so. And Kyle too, so say it to my face, everyone.
Ben Manker
That is pretty quick. Four months. I could see how the. If you just get divorced, someone would be like, how dare you? You're already dating somebody.
Ronnie Caram
I think four months is actually. Is totally fine. Believe it or not. I do think it's fine.
Ben Manker
I can just see how the ex would be like, what the.
Ronnie Caram
So the ex is probably happy. Like, get him out of my face. He's occupied. Give him a new play thing.
Ben Manker
I mean, but I'm just like, that I can see somebody, like, online that I've dated years ago who's like, oh, my God, look, I'm. I'm. I'm happily, you know, with somebody now. I'm like, oh, really?
Ronnie Caram
Well, yeah.
Ben Manker
I gave you my 16th year.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah. How dare you?
Ben Manker
I learned to drive that year.
Ronnie Caram
Well, yeah, no, the ex would probably be annoyed, but I don't know. I. I have no. I don't know. I really don't have a opinion on this either way. I think whatever works, works.
Ben Manker
Just saying it's quick.
Ronnie Caram
Just saying it's best.
Ben Manker
I'm not saying Daniel's a cheetah. Just saying. Seems a little quick. Yeah. And oh, and I depends a cheater because Owen wears an ascot.
Ronnie Caram
Oh.
Ben Manker
Yeah. So no matter what I put, you know what I would think Danielle would or wouldn't do. I think Owen would do it.
Ronnie Caram
I do think getting into a super serious relationship that quickly might be a little dangerous, but whatever. So speaking of dating after a breakup, it's time for Lindsay, and she is now. She's now on a date with Dustin. Country singer Dustin Lynch. Does he have any. Does he. Does he have any sort of repute? I will look this up right now.
Ben Manker
I don't know. He's sure a smiley guy, though.
Ronnie Caram
He's like, have you met my mom, Meryl? God.
Ben Manker
So she's like, wow, what about this video? He's like, this is so cool. She's like, am I different in New York than I am in Nashville? Because Nashville is where she has her Airbnb thing that she bought, like, her girlfriend, bachelorette party house type thing.
Ronnie Caram
So I guess he has 1.2 million followers.
Ben Manker
It's a lot of people.
Ronnie Caram
That's a lot of people.
Ben Manker
It's a lot of people.
Ronnie Caram
Look at all those people.
Ben Manker
I don't understand. Oh, you know what?
Ronnie Caram
This guy. I remember this guy, like, 10. Yeah, he. He busted out on the scene, like, 12 years ago. I don't remember his music, but he busted out, I think, on the scene because when he, like, arrived, he was, like, super hot. Like, super super. I mean, he's hot still, but, like, he was exceptionally, like, this young. Young and hot country star, I seem to remember.
Ben Manker
Well, there you go. So she's like, am I different than Nashville? He's like, I don't know. I've not hung out with you in New York till just now. So I guess we'll see. We'll see how the knot goes. It's like, that was hilarious. Oh, my God.
Ronnie Caram
He was supposed to perform at my wedding to Carl, but, like, footage not found. Am I right, guys? So, like, I never met him until.
Ben Manker
That was funny. When she's like, he was supposed to perform at my wedding to Kyle, and they just cut to a screen and it's like, footage not found.
Ronnie Caram
Oh, boy. So she's like, no, I went to his concert and I met him at his. Hell, yeah. And then a month later, we went on it. So, yeah, she's saying, like. Like, trapping you for a night is, like, really so hard. He's like, look, he's talking. That's a reference to you having a baby. But, yeah, you're right. I go out for a living. You know what I mean?
Ben Manker
Loud noises and partying. That's not what I want to do when I'm home. Loud noises. You're with Lindsay. What do you think it's going to be like at home? You think it's going to be a nice, quiet evening? Hi. Meet Lindsay Hubbard. Yeah, you're never going to have another quiet life night in your life, sir.
Ronnie Caram
Okay, so they just flirt and flirt and flirt, and then now we go To Kyle and Amanda. Walk. And they go to. They go. They're. I think they're in the financial district. And I say this because I once went to this. This place that they sat at with Taylor Strecker, our friend Taylor Strecker. And I was like, oh, Taylor. So they sit down and they're going on one of their little dates because they're gonna. We're gonna date each other again.
Ben Manker
They're in Five eye.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, they're in Fidai. We're gonna.
Ben Manker
How do you say that? Five day.
Ronnie Caram
I think it's. Bye. Bye. Okay. Our producer. Our producer confirms.
Ben Manker
I've never heard it called that. I heard it called the Wall Street. Oh, like Wall Street.
Ronnie Caram
Our producer's giving you eyes. Like. No, it's called that.
Ben Manker
I don't know. Back in the day we didn't have
Ronnie Caram
a fidi Fi die.
Ben Manker
I said downtown. So we talked about it back in the day. Like, no one goes down there.
Ronnie Caram
I wish it was called Phi Diane. It's just a little bit more elegant. I live in Phi, Diane.
Ben Manker
So Feinstein Diane. So we go to fi die. And let's see, who are we with there? Oh, Amanda. Oh, God.
Ronnie Caram
Attempting to reinvigorate their relationship.
Ben Manker
You know, like, I wanted somewhere that was like furnished in month to month, but it's just so hard finding a sublet in New York. Like, who do you. Who are you kidding, Amanda? It's like the city of sublets. It's like, whoops, I could only find a year long lease.
Ronnie Caram
Lies.
Ben Manker
The lies.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah. So she's like, she starts talking about. They start figuring out, like, what's the deal with our apartment situation? He's like, do I get a key? And she's like, no, you don't get a key. Even though I get a key of your place. You just tell the front desk and then I'll. You just come up. So you don't even need a key. He's like, but you keep your key. She's like, yeah, well, I mean, I'll call you on your way over. He's like, I just don't want to be like jerking off in the bathroom when you come over.
Ben Manker
It's like, Kyle. So she's overwhelmed and stuck. So she can't be stuck in this cycle. And he's like, okay. It's like, let's talk about the apartment. And then, like, how it's gonna actually work. So she starts laying down the rules, like the key thing. And she's like, I mean, I'll call you before I. He's like, this is unchartered territory. Yeah, but just don't jerk into the bathroom, Kyle. All right? Just, you know, don't speak to me like we're making, you know, speak to me like we're making decisions together. Not that you've already made up your mind. She's like, I've already made up my mind. Kyle. Kyle, what part of this are you not getting? Yeah, she's leaving. She got an apartment. She didn't tell you it was going to be a year long lease. She did it anyway. She didn't ask you. And now she's not giving you. What are you not getting? You don't get a say in this, Kyle.
Ronnie Caram
And then he. Then she's like, oh, and by the way, you're not single. He's like, I know. And she goes like, and I'm not single. And she like raises her hands, but she says that. He's like, you don't have your wedding band on.
Ben Manker
Yeah, I've got my wedding band. Where's yours?
Ronnie Caram
She goes, well, I don't have any jewelry on. Okay? Like the fact that she keeps on saying like, oh, it's just gonna be like a month. But I signed a year long lease. You're not single, but we're still together. But I'm not wearing my wedding band.
Ben Manker
It's like, and I'm probably fucking west by this point.
Ronnie Caram
The lies you're telling yourself. At the very least.
Ben Manker
Yeah, commercials.
Ronnie Caram

Ronnie Caram
So then she says that, like, we're still gonna go to therapy, okay, Even though we missed the past two weeks, but we're gonna get back to it. Because my biggest fear is losing you. And that's scary. And I get frustrated with how badly I want it to work with your no wedding ring.
Ben Manker
This is crazy watching right after this summer house reunion. It really is whiplash. And he's like, well, can I ask you a question? Do you feel like you're in love with me? She's like, yes, that's why I'm doing this. Are you still in love with me? And he's like, well, I mean, we both want to, but are you in love with me, Kyle? He's like, of course. He starts cracking up. He's like, yeah, I love you.
Ronnie Caram
She's like, oh, well, you're. Stop lying. You're the worst liar. No, I love you. Yeah, I really. She's like, because I'm a cat. She's like. He's like, yeah, yeah, you're. Yeah. Oh, yeah, you're a catch. So, yeah, that's pretty cool.
Ben Manker
I want you to treat me like a cat.
Ronnie Caram
So now we go over to Hotel Hugo where Lindsay and Dustin lynch are there, and the whole gang starts to show up. And so they're all meeting Dustin and everything, and Georgina is there. George's like, whoa. And on there, everyone's saying hello. And so they're checking in on Georgina, how she's been, etc and like, does she have a band aid on her face? She's like, I gave myself too much. She what she gave her.
Ben Manker
That's so dangerous to be giving yourself the boat. To be in charge of the Botox keys is scary. She's like, yeah. I was like, you guys, I look like I'm what's her face's husband. I look like Dustin. No, what's the Yvonne's husband? What's his name? I still don't know people's names on this show.
Ronnie Caram
Doug.
Ben Manker
No, Dustin's the new country singer guy. So Andrea sees Dustin, he's like, oh, good looking guy, just a friend. I mean, I don't want to put you right in the spot. It's a very murky place to be.
Ronnie Caram
So Yvonne's like, so Dustin, are you guys having fun together? And he's like, oh my God, so fun. So much fun. Like when there's a window, I'm not touring. I'm gonna come back because I'm a nerd. I'm a science nerd. Except for evolution. But you know what? I want to go see like all the super cool museums. And Yvonne's like, yeah, Lindsay's really into science too. She'll take you to all the museums. Phrases I never thought I would hear. Lindsay is really into science and she'll take you to all the museums.
Ben Manker
Jake. You guys are so cute. You guys together? You having fun together? Are you getting married? It's like, well, you know, I mean, I'm just touring all the time. So she's like, yeah, Lindsay doesn't like science, but I had to just kind of, you know, you do that for your girlfriend sometimes. That's not, not very helpful.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
You know, lying about somebody liking science because now he's going to start buying her dinosaurs.
Ronnie Caram
And so then Kenny shows up without Whitney.
Ben Manker
That's my only, that's my only grasp on science. Dinosaurs.
Ronnie Caram
Dinosaurs. So Kenny shows up without Kenny and Gavin show up, but there's no Whitney. And they're like, well, where's, where is she? And so Kenny is like, oh, yeah, she had an event, she couldn't make it tonight. And it turns out she's actually at her apartment shooting content. And she's like, hey guys, it's been like really hard finding gluten free bread, but I found some and I put in the toaster and look, it comes out looking like this. It's just like a lightly toasted piece of bread with butter on it. She's like revolutionizing food media.
Ben Manker
The fat, I mean, it's just so Whitney. It's like, here, cut the Whitney, this is toast. The dog's licking its nuts. Like pretty much that's it.
Ronnie Caram
I found this revolutionary new cooking technique. It's called toasting things. You put bread in a toast or it comes out a little browner. It's amazing. You should all try it.
Ben Manker
Guys, this is gluten free toast. You're gonna feel a spark for it.
Ronnie Caram
It's a little bit murky. So everyone's saying hi to Kenny and everything. Everything. And, and he's talking about how he met. He met what's her face, Whitney on Raya, you know, and they're sort of talking about their love story, etc. And of course this then starts to move into the big controversy of the week.
Ben Manker
Yeah. So Kenny is trying to solidify. It's like, yeah, I mean, our one year first date was this past week. So basically been together for a year. Gavin's like, okay, now we're getting somewhere. Now we're getting somewhere. And Georgina's like, yeah, well that also correlates with her move your birthday. So that's a happy time for you guys, right? A year. And he's like, oh, yeah. But you know, people are all talking shit, you know, but it correlates. And the dinner was really great last because the girls are hinting like, how was dinner? You know, because they all know what's going on. He's like, oh, it's great. It ended up on a good note. But you know, she's coming in a little hot in the beginning with some kind of random noise came up, you know, she's being fed a little, you know, I mean the level of drama and nonsense is just baffling. It's baffling, especially for someone new that's moving here. It's like, what are we doing, guys? What are we doing?
Ronnie Caram
So Lexi's like, well, I would love to talk to you about it. Lexi, I am actually really enjoying because she is very self possessed and she seems to have.
Ben Manker
She's not afraid of him because he's clearly talking to her and he's like, someone's in her ear.
Ronnie Caram
And she's like very self possessed. She has no problem being direct and also standing up for her man. I was, I loved her.
Ben Manker
Unlike this guy who's like trying to hint around and she's like, I'll talk to you about it. And Gavin's like, oh, wait, so you know about it? Because Gavin's not caught up on all this yet. So she's like, yeah, we went to Washington Square Park, Georgina, Whitney and I, and brought some stuff up I'm hearing, and something about, you know, I thought being her friend, I should let her know. And Gavin's like, oh, my God, did you know she's behind this? Gavin's loving. I love messy Gavin.
Ronnie Caram
He's so messy. And so Kenny's like, look, I'm not trying to shoot the messenger. She's communicating something to Whitney that I think is understandable, but the real issue is two or three guys run their mouths about my relationship. And then Georgina's like, yeah. And I guess. I guess Lexi was like, kenny said that maybe the future is murky with Whitney. And she didn't get. Gavin's like, wait, who said the murky comment? Wait, what about murky? Murky. Murky.
Ben Manker
Murky's a bad word. Murky. Lexi said it. And Lexi's like, but I heard it from Andrea. And Gavin's like, oh, now we get down to it. He's, like, cheering in the corner.
Ronnie Caram
And. And then Kenny is like, oh, well, you know what? He needs to talk to me, man to man, of being gossipy and gossiping. And she's like, he not gossiping.
Ben Manker
Where.
Ronnie Caram
He's my husband. He tells me everything, and I tell him everything. He's like, it's gossiping.
Ben Manker
Well, like you're doing. Why don't you just go up to Andrea instead of talking to his wife? Literally.
Ronnie Caram
Been every episode. Is you, like, complaining to Whitney about Lindsay?
Ben Manker
Yes. So now Andrea comes up, and Kenny's like, okay, what point. At what point did I say my future with Whitney was murky? Did that word come out of my mouth? He's like, no, I was.
Ronnie Caram
But.
Ben Manker
And he's. And Gavin's like, wow. Wow. Murky Denied.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah, this is a game of telethon. I can't believe it. And Andrea's like, well, you know. Yeah, I don't know what you guys are, but, like, I brought up to me that you're complaining about lack of spark and so murky. I used the word. I said it was like, murky because, like, the future seemed murky to you?
Ben Manker
Listen, all I know is I had a birthday dinner and my girlfriend was upset because of the word murky because I said our future is murky. And that is bullshit. I never said murky. He's like. Like murky. It's my. It's my perception of what Kyle said. Yeah, it's murky.
Ronnie Caram
You retort about it. You're not ready to commit Right now, that's even murky. It's like, well, she just moved in yesterday. I'm not ready to get married today. Okay? Whitney and I are on the same page, and we've had this conversation. I haven't told you or Kyle or anybody in this place anything that I have not told Whitney. Although I did tell Whitney about how to use the toaster, and she's very excited about it. The only time it becomes an issue is when people cherry pick certain buzzwords out of a conversation and then go start running their mouth. Mouth about it.
Ben Manker
Oh, God. So Andrea's like, but, okay, wrong usage in the situation. As I said, it's wrong. I apologize for that. But what it really. What's caught me off guard. You're doubting the spark that you had with Whitney, which is murky, Right?
Ronnie Caram
He's like, what? What was murky that I told you? What did I say that was murky? He's like, well, murky with the whole situation, like, not being there. Yeah. It's like, but what about murky? That's not murky.
Ben Manker
Murky, murky, murky. And he goes, well, Kyle said that you had told him that there wasn't a spark. So that's what we're talking about. Yes, spark. He brought up spark that caught me off guards in a murky way.
Ronnie Caram
Is it possible that he was talking about Angela Merkel? Yes. My murky word was. It was a consequence of what God said about this spark. And, you know, and then Kenny's like, but did he say the same thing? Like, Andrea is just trying to say. I was just trying to summarize what Kyle said. So I said, murky. Oh, my God.
Ben Manker
And Kenny just keeps trying to turn it to, no, you. I never said the word murky. How dare you say the word murky?
Ronnie Caram
And Lindsay, by the way, must really like this guy that this country singer, because she does not get up from the sofa. She's like, wow, they're getting feisty in there. And she does not feel the need to step in and be like, what's
Ben Manker
going on in here? I know. She's like, I've never seen Andrea like this. But she just stays and watches, which is crazy. So Andre is like, you're not understanding. He's like, oh, no, this is important. You guys don't understand. And he's like, no, you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. He's like, how dare you? And Andrea's like, I can't take it. He's like, why are you running your mouth? I'm not running my mouth.
Ronnie Caram
So Andrea's, like, losing his mind. Because they're kind of, like, not. They're just not listening to him, what he's saying. Like, he's like, this was my interpretation of it, that it seemed murky or whatever. So he just finally storms off. And Kenya's like, well, what the is he talking about? Why don't you listen to him? Instead of keeping saying, why'd you say murky? Why'd you say murky?
Ben Manker
Andrea says, I was talking to my night, to my wife. And Kenny goes, that's the definition of running your mouth, and you need to own it.
Ronnie Caram
No, it's the definition of having a partner that you love. Yes. What a loser. So he just goes. He goes off. So then we go to. Now, like, the ladies go. And they start playing, like, what that sporting place. The. They're playing lawn pong. Whatever they're throwing. They're doing this big, like, pong game. And they're talking. This is the next day. And they're taking pictures of Georgina on the ground with all the balls. And they're like, we're putting on Raya. Etc.
Ben Manker
She's like, they're taking pictures of me like one of those dead people. And they make an outline of.
Ronnie Caram
So they're asking Lindsay, like, what's going on with Dustin? And she's like, well, we're just, like, friends, or, like, friends who, like, make
Ben Manker
out at the end of the night. So she still hasn't gotten laid because he did. They did not do it last night. And she's like, oh, my God. Like, oh, my God. You're like the man in a movie. And Georgina's like, oh, my God, you guys, I'm sorry I'm not reacting, but I put my own Botox in. I can't move my face.
Ronnie Caram
Yeah.
Ben Manker
So Lindsay's talking about how she, you know, wants to keep dating, but she can't get laid to save her life.
Ronnie Caram
And.
Ben Manker
What do you mean? Yvonne's like, she deserves her fairy tale.
Ronnie Caram
Is she the princess in the fairy tale, or she. Is she maleficent?
Ben Manker
She's like, I'm a princess now. Solve this riddle or you're gonna die.
Ronnie Caram
So then we go over to the West Village. We're at Gavin's bar. It's called Bandits. And Kenny and Whitney are there, and they're gonna, like, have, like, a postgame report over everything that happened.
Ben Manker
And so the scene is great. So Whitney and Kenny think they're gonna sit down with messy Gavin, and it's just gonna be like, bitching about how everybody's so mean to poor Kenny after what Kenny's been through. And can't. Can't Gavin understand, like, how hard it is being in this relationship when everybody is against you?
Ronnie Caram
Oh, so good. So Whitney's asking, what happened? And she's like, what's going on?
Ben Manker
And Kenny's like, well, she's like, I was making toast.
Ronnie Caram
Have you ever seen bread turt brown? It actually can happen.
Ben Manker
It was really hard.
Ronnie Caram
So Kenny is.
Ben Manker
Big night for me. Kenny shooting.
Ronnie Caram
Kenny's like, well, Andrea and Lexi, I actually like them. So I'm, like, hoping that there's a way to figure this out, to get the bottom of it. But, like, Andrea, whatever we talked about was manipulated into, like, you know, now, like, oh, my God, Kenny thinks the future's murky. He's been totally manipulated.
Ben Manker
Gavin's like, your future is uncertain, as everyone's is. They wouldn't listen to that, though. Is that what you're saying? They wouldn't listen? He's like, no, Kenny said the futures. I never said the future's murky. And I guess Kyle started that. And I still haven't had a chance to talk to Kyle. And Gavin's like, kyle's in the wind. This is the wind. Is that what I'm getting here?
Ronnie Caram
Whitney's like, wait, Kyle wasn't there. Was he making toast also? And he's like, no, Kyle was not there. Gavin's like, well, murky and spark. I don't know where this all came from anyway. And Kenny's like, well, I mean, I said the spark comment because obviously, I mean, look at this one. Like, this is not chemistry, but seriously. Oh, she didn't hear that. Don't. Don't story.
Ben Manker
But Gavin goes, wait, you did say the spark comment. When he's like, whoa. But, like, he didn't say it in the way that you said he did. He meant, like, spark is in. Like, there's no spark. Not like there's no spark. I mean, it was, like, completely different. And Gavin goes, oh, yeah, I didn't know that you actually said the spark comment. So that actually changed. Yeah, but it was out of context. It wasn't about us not having a spark. It was about us not having a spark.
Ronnie Caram
Kenny's like, like, I just feel a little numb to marriage, being with someone forever, and I'm just, like, a little jaded on that. I'm wounded is what I'm trying to say. I need to be fixed. It's a me thing. I've got things to Work on. And Gavin's like, I think we gotta get deeper. I think it's more than that because, like the spark comment, now that I know that you said it, I think you just want more passion from her and you just want, like, you just want something from Whitney. I mean, look at her. She's still thinking about toast and how it happens.
Ben Manker
Whitney can't even make toast fun. I have TikTok. You're saying, light a fire under that ass. Whitney, give me something. Whitney, are you there? I think what you really want to do is to a little tiny mirror and put it under Whitney's nose and see if there's breath coming out. Is that right?
Ronnie Caram
He's like, by the way, Whitney, this is Donna to get you. She's like, what's happening?
Ben Manker
It's like, what the hell? This was cracking me up. And Kenny's like, no, I mean, it's just that, you know. Well, Gavin tells us, I'm the Kenny relationship expert. I've seen all his relationships. So saying there's no spark, that means he's insecure about his relationship. And Kenny's like, no, our relationship's been non stop. Like, it's excitement, it's travel. He goes, sounds perfect. But guess what? Just perfect. It's kind of boring, right, Kenny? Right? Am I right?
Ronnie Caram
Whitney's like, well, maybe it's boring to you because you. You're used to such a crazy kind of like toxic environment. Kevin's like, yeah, yep, yep, you're right. I mean, I know this. I know I sound like I'm jabbing you, but like, I like. By the way, I like that from you wit. I like that you're getting. Okay, now you're coming to life.
Ben Manker
I feel like if I. I threw keys at you, you might actually try to catch them. Whitney. Wow, that is amazing.
Ronnie Caram
It's almost like you've been put into some sort of delonghi product and come out a little browner.
Ben Manker
It's amazing. If I had a little tiny hammer and knocked you right on your knee, your leg might even pop up.
Ronnie Caram
I might want to spread some jelly on you. You've been toasted with me. So Gavin's. Kenny's like, this is not constructive. And so then Gavin's like, oh, like, feel like, like, listen, I know you feel like I'm coming at you, Kenny. I'm just like, these are just questions I would ask you even if Whitney weren't there. I'm just, like, curious.
Ben Manker
He's like, I'm sick of this. This. I can't take this anymore. I am attacked by everyone.
Ronnie Caram
How dare you? You're my best friend. You should know better than this. I gotta walk away.
Ben Manker
And he walks out and leaves Whitney there. And Whitney is just like, duh. She's like, thanks a lot, Gavin. And Gavin's like, oh, Whitney. And then he just grabs her head and kisses her.
Ronnie Caram
I don't like this Richard Lawson kissing he's doing.
Ben Manker
He's like, oh, Whitney, you're just so pretty. And then that's it.
Ronnie Caram
And yeah. Oh, my gosh. Oh, God bless her heart. Can't. Can't wait to see how our toast journey goes. But for now, we are done. Thank you everyone for being here. And we will see more miserable, miserable people tomorrow with the Valley.

Hosts: Ben Mandelker & Ronnie Karam
Episode Focus: Recapping “In the City” S1E4 — relationships, drama, and hilarious shade around the cast’s rapidly shifting romantic and social situations.
Ben and Ronnie, in their signature irreverent and loving-mocking Bravo superfan style, break down episode 4 of “In the City,” focusing on fresh relationship drama, cast friend-roasting, and a particularly murky (or “murk it”) debacle regarding the meaning of “spark” and “future” in one central couple. The hosts take hilarious aim at Bravo tropes, update listeners on cast intrigue, and dissect the viral arguments and side-eye.
Ronnie and Ben open with praise (and shade) for the casting of finance-bro villain Kenny, contrasting him with the “wussy” West. The big theme is how relationship rumors—especially about lack of “spark” and “murky” futures—spread through the group, sparking confrontations and Bravo-style chaos.
Whisper Down the Lane:
Ben (03:58):
“I’m just really, you know, look, look, it’s not that I don’t feel a spark. It’s that I feel no excitement about committing to you.”
Ronnie (04:04):
“You know what it is? It’s like, I don’t like to think about you.”
Stanley Tucci & Friend Zone Analogy:
Kenny Tries Excuses:
Amanda tells Lindsay and friends she’s moving to a new apartment with a yearlong lease—without fully cluing in Kyle. Ben and Ronnie needle Amanda for being passive, and Kyle for being obtuse.
Amanda’s Evasions:
Ronnie (10:09):
“Amanda, you know you were planning this a whole lot the whole time. Stop being such a wuss. Just leave that man.”
Kyle’s Confusion:
“What part of this are you not getting? You don’t get a say in this, Kyle.”
Wedding Bands as Symbol:
Nick, the “mid-mod” furniture restorer, and Yvonne, marketing exec-turned-cookie-seller, are framed as a “blase couple” who eat on camera (“new people actually eat!”)
Furniture Restoration Snark:
“They’ll find [a chair] on the side of the road and, like, shellack it and be like, that is $19,000.”
Yvonne on Career Change:
Relationship & Baby Tensions:
Danielle recounts her tension with Amanda (accused of spreading “homewrecker” rumors about her dating Owen, recently separated from his ex).
Four Months = “Too Quick”?
Amanda and Kyle Labeled “Mean Girls/Boys”:
Lindsay’s single life updates feature her “roster” dwindling and a new flirtation with country singer Dustin Lynch (whose fame the hosts Google mid-episode).
The group dinner turns into a full Bravo semantic showdown about who said what regarding “spark” and “murky” relationships. Gavin acts as a messy agent, fanning the flames.
Lexi’s Directness Stands Out:
“Lexi, I am actually really enjoying because she is very self-possessed and she seems to have… no problem being direct and standing up for her man.”
Kenny Calls Out Gossipy Wives:
Andrea “Murky Denied”:
Ben on Kenny’s Evasiveness (03:58):
“It’s not that I don’t feel a spark. It’s that I feel no excitement about committing to you.”
Whitney’s Domestic Content Mocked (35:28):
“It’s just so Whitney. It’s like, here, cut the Whitney, this is toast. The dog’s licking its nuts. Like, pretty much that’s it.” – Ben
Andrea’s “Murky” Breakdown (40:13):
“What was murky that I told you? What did I say that was murky?” – Andrea
Lexi’s Clarity (38:34):
“He’s my husband. He tells me everything, and I tell him everything. That’s not gossiping.” – Lexi
Gavin on Whitney’s Lack of Spark (45:37):
“I think what you really want to do is to a little tiny mirror and put it under Whitney’s nose and see if there’s breath coming out. Is that right?”
The episode brims with Ben and Ronnie’s signature snark, campy Bravo expertise, and playful (but cutting) humor. Their commentary mixes sharp analysis, affection for the foibles of Bravo stars, and relentless teasing—especially about semantics (“murky”), the casting of villains, and Bravo’s endless supply of relationship blunders.
This episode of Watch What Crappens delivers a masterclass in comedic Bravo recapping, roasting the cast of “In the City” as they spiral over rumors, semantics, and the existential dread of commitment. With running jokes about toast, friend-zoning at “Tucci”, and the infamous “murky” word, Ben and Ronnie highlight how a single misused descriptor can snowball into full-cast drama—while keeping the laughs and shade coming thick and fast.
Essential listening for Bravo fans, shade aficionados, and anyone who’s ever wondered if making toast counts as content.
