Hello and welcome to W.E. my name is Joe Mittega, and I'm the host of the we podcast. Many years ago, I really used to believe that if I just worked hard enough, planned carefully enough, and made the right decisions, that I could create a safe future. And then, you know what happened. Yeah, that's right. Life, the world changed. People I loved got older. Some of them passed away. Relationships that I thought would be around forever, Some stayed, some changed. Uncertainties happened. And the things that I just knew for a fact would be the same weren't. And for the first time in my life, I found myself asking a question. I never thought I would. And I'll never forget when it happened. Now, I am blessed to say it's been a while ago, but I remember the day. It was like I said to myself, what if? What if? I really don't know what's coming? Like, what's going to happen next? And I don't know, maybe you felt like that, too. Maybe you've looked at your world and felt that quiet fear that a lot of us have had. That fear you just can't really explain. And I don't know about you, but if you watch the news, some of us, if we look at our finances, if we look at our health, our kids, our children, our future, and we simply sometimes can just look at humanity itself and start questioning, you know, what's happening. And different times. I've really felt this feeling of, I don't feel safe anymore. Like, really, I don't feel safe. And the truth is, many of us carry that same unlevel of certainty. Of course we do. I mean, it's part of. It's called being human, but part of it's called we were never taught. The reason so many of us feel so uncertain about our tomorrow is because we were never truly taught how to deal with it, how to connect with it, and how to kind of move forward. We were taught, quite honestly, lovingly, how to plan, how to achieve, how to work hard, how to think. But you know what? The truth is, very few of us were really taught how to find peace when the future refuses to give us guarantees. Well, in this episode, I want to share with my own personal and spiritual growth what it taught me, how I learned today, how to live in a real sense of certainty, even when my entire world around me is going through changes and I'm going to share some of that today in my story. A lot of my world is completely different today than it was just literally a couple months ago. And you know what? I'm going to talk about how today I find stability. I live in a place of stability because of the spiritual and emotional process. I went through some very deep and dark times. So, you know, if you're feeling afraid, if you're feeling overwhelmed, if you're just uncertain about what comes next, I'm really glad you're here. This conversation is for you. And I just want to say welcome to we. You know, it's been an amazing journey and I am so excited about the WE podcast and my ability on a week, weekly basis to give back to humanity and to share my experience, strength and hope. And I've got some really cool announcements. The success of the podcast, because of all of you, has just been so tremendous. And I have to tell you, every time I see a level of success, whatever it is, a higher ranking or I witness downloads and all that, my heart just explodes with glory and with overflow. Because truly my gift to the world is to give back. And I always talk about we are the generation of change and how we are going to do it different and we are doing it different. And I've got several very cool stories to back that up and to prove it. And the WE podcast. I'm not one of these guys that says, hey, go get them, tiger, and not give you any advice on what to do and how to do it. I'm the guy that's going to kind of share what I did and how I did it and what people can do to really make their worlds feel better, feel safer. And you know what, if you're feeling fear, welcome quite honestly. If you're not feeling any type of fear and any type of distress and any type of discomfort, quite honestly, you're probably not on this podcast. You're either that minute little minority of human out there that's as close to walking on water as some of us will ever get, or you're just completely closed down and you're not doing any type of spiritual growth. And both those extremes aren't really on a podcast like this. A podcast like the WE podcast is for the folks that consider themselves a spiritual warrior in a sense of you're willing to look at yourself, you're willing to change, you're willing to see where you're doing good and how you can improve that. And you're also willing to look at the challenges. You know, most of life's challenges are not going to be found where everything's working perfect. Most of life's challenges are going to be found in the dark spots, in the blind spots, as they call it. And I applaud each and every person who's willing to be here, willing to be on this podcast and listen. And one of the reasons we rank so high, we're this past week back on the top global 200 charts out of 4 million podcasts. If you think about statistically how impossible that is, but it's very probable because I know it's not Joe doing this. It is definitely a power greater than me that is in control of this entire event. I call it my divinity. And I can pretty much guarantee you if you keep coming back, the part of you, you guiding you to listen to the we podcast is your divinity too. And collectively, we're making a difference. We are. And I owe a hundred percent of the success of this podcast to each and every listener out there. If you're new today, welcome. I love to kind of share my story a little bit. Not to be too redundant for people that have been around a while, but the truth is we have tens of thousands of new people tuning in every week now, and it's very exciting. And I've got some really cool announcements about how we're going to continue to enhance the show. For those of you that are new, just understand, I'm just like you. I'm not a teacher, I'm not a researcher, I'm certainly not a doctor. And believe me, I am not a therapist, although I have. I've worked with each one of those category of professional out there. That's how I live, the way I live today. I had counselors and therapists for, oh, gosh, 25 years, literally three different women. That really helped Joe get to know Joe. And I'm a huge proponent of support from the life coach world, like my life coach, Dr. Karen Louise, to therapies, to 12 step programs. You know what, we're in that era of time that quite honestly, if you need help, just go get it, because it's everywhere. And I tell the story how years ago, when I went through this process, that seven years of darkness, the Internet barely existed. I mean, 1-800-call- somebody didn't exist. So there's a much larger sense of support. There's a global sense of support. And I want to welcome people from around the world because literally the we podcast is now in 14 countries. And welcome to all of you. The first announcement I want to make is in. Come mid July, about three or four weeks now, we're going to add a second episode each week. It's going to be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And the second episode, I'm going to really start integrating in a group of people that I call the Voices of We. They're contributors that are just these wise, spiritual beings that have a passion, like I do, to give back to the world. And I can only share my experience, strength, and hope. But I'm going to gain more and more knowledge from these contributors because these people are just absolutely fabulous. And then over time, in the beginning, I'm going to have conversations with them, and then I'm going to share my interpretations of what we learned. And then over time, we're going to have them actually as guests on the show. So you can hear it from other people, too. And I'm just a huge proponent of connection. And a lot of people are going to connect with the way Joe talks, and some people are going to connect with the way these other people talk. And the bottom line, I want everybody to feel welcome here. I want everybody to feel a part of this. And the truth of the matter is a podcast, like the we podcast, the community we are building. It's really important. It really is, because the world's changing. It is just literally changing. She's waking up to her feminine side of self. So the way you do relationships, the way you do dating, the way you do new business, the way you do your current business, it's all changing. And I want people to hear up front the very first thing I'm going to say to you. If you're feeling fear, please know you're okay. Please know that doesn't mean you're not spiritual and. And all of that. I hear different influencers online. I hear different preachers online. And this whole concept, well, you just have to trust God. And I get it. Yeah, that's true. But trusting God doesn't mean your fear is going to be removed. God's not codependent. Your higher power, power greater than yourself is not going to rescue you out of your challenges, your angst, your emotions, your fears. No, that is not what your higher power's job is. And that's part of a lot of confusion, to be completely honest with you. At least it was for me, because I used to say, well, if I believed in God, then everything would be fine. I didn't have a real strong belief in God, so I was kind of sol to be honest with you because my relationship was so tattered, not because the power greater than me was ever not unconditional, but because my belief of what it was. We're going to talk about that more today. We are. And we're going to talk about changes and we're going to talk about the different things you can do to connect inside yourself while your external world is in chaos. And I honor and I applaud and I'm also empathetic for the massive numbers of people, the millions and millions and millions of people that are deeply concerned because of AI and AI coming in and either a replacing your job or replacing what you do and the sense of now what and you know what, that's a real live concern. Now I have to tell you, and I always say this to you, Joe's not the solution of what you're going to do next. Joe's role is to really help you connect within yourself so that you have the strength and courage needed to find your next adventure, whatever that means. And I tend to break the show up into three different categories. The mental part of self, the emotional part of self, and the spiritual sense of self. Because I want people to understand we are truly multi dimensional beings. We are not the egocentric. I as just an infinite eye. We are multi dimensional. And each person has a male side and a female side and both those sides, the male side is your mental sense of self and your physical sense of self. Your. The female side is the emotional side and the emotions and the spiritual. And it's really that feminine side that's waking up so dramatically that people are going through different challenges that five years ago, 10 years ago, you weren't going through. And it didn't mean you were disconnected or anything wrong back then. It just means that you're on a spiritual path and things are waking up. And what I always like to do is I want to, I'm the how to person. And I didn't know this ahead of time. I mean, if you look at, if you look at the we podcast, it's ranked number one on Apple podcast how to. And it just kind of developed that way because that's my personality. I never asked the question about how do I fix the voices in my head, Never asked it ever. I always ask the question, why is the voice there? I never asked the question how do I get rid of this pain? I always ask the question how do I heal the pain? And now, 30 some odd years later, I know why. Because I can share from my own experiences how if I, somebody that was addicted to everything and had every codependent personality trait that there was, and you name it. I did it for years and years and had the biggest ego. I mean, you name it. Any challenging, you put a category one to 10, if 10 is the most aggressive. I was a 12. And I'm not saying that to make fun of myself or to put myself down. I just. I want to be honest, and I want to be honest in such a way that if I can live where I live now based on where I came, based on the lack of support that there was, anybody can. And that's why I say it. You know, it's interesting because the fears of our tomorrow, the uncertainty today, which causes us, the reason we're so uncertain, is not typically about your today unless you're getting evicted and you can't pay your rent. But for the most of us, the uneasiness, the uncertainty of today is because we don't have a clear understanding of our tomorrow. And I'm going to talk about that from the three different positions, how we can kind of work through that, how we can connect to a foundation within yourself that doesn't remove the challenges, doesn't remove the emotion, doesn't remove the expansion and growth, but it gives you a sense of peace, it gives you a sense of stability, a sense of okayness, a foundation of okayness as you're walking through your emotions, as you're going through the changes, as you're expanding into something you didn't even know existed. So one of the things I want to state right from the beginning, if you're on a podcast like this, you are a spiritual warrior. If you're listening to more than one of my podcasts, I applaud you because they're not easy, literally. And I'm going to continue to encourage people. And I'll say this several times, listen to the podcasts over and over, because you're going to hear different things at different times that are going to resonate. And if you get in some spot and what something I said randomly, you get really mad about or you get really sad about, or you just totally disagree or you love every second, whatever the it is, right? It's okay to. If it's super uncomfortable, just stop it right there. Just click, stop, pause, and then come back. Because I'm not here purposely trying to push buttons, but I know buttons are being pushed. Why? Because the parts of you that are wanting, needing, you're in that place, you're in that space. It's time to heal deeper and live grander. Well, folks, neither one of those positions are easy to accomplish the Heal deeper is an emotional journey that if you go too deep, you need support, period. You need to have somebody working with you. Now, a lot of us that isn't totally the case. It just depends on how deep your path is guided. Mine was guided to heal the depths of being sexually abused, neglected and abandoned to the depths of myself. So 30 years later I could have a global podcast. Now, did I know any of that back then? No. Did I? Was I conscious aware of any of that back then? No. All I wanted to do is be able to wake up on a Monday morning or a Thursday afternoon and my elbows be able to lift off the bed because I was in that kind of pain for that kind of long. Most aren't going there. Most, quite honestly, don't need to go there. Most of you don't have the personality like I did. And that's why I want to have other voices on here. I've come across two different females. These are powerhouse women, powerfully, emotionally connected and consciously aware. But their style is just so soft, kind and loving. And I'm here to tell you folks me that's I'm a work in progress in the soft category in the kind. I'm kind and I'm super loving through protective energy. But I'm a work in progress in the soft part. That's why I married my past wife, Elizabeth. Sweetest she can be, and soft all the time. Really. It was really an attraction for me. Well, that's one of the reasons I'm doing the voices of we and having expanded types of voices on the Tuesday episode over time and that's going to be an overtime thing. Thursday episodes will be the same and real excited because my new books are coming out. Write down my my name joe mitiga.com and I'm going to be saying that over and over. Joe mitiga.com if you click on it now, it'll take you to my new TedX. But soon, over this next little bit of period of time, you'll be able to download my books for free. My first book, Filling the Void, is going to be released here soon. So I hope you go get it. I hope you read it. I hope you again, use it more as use it more as a reference than, oh, this is a great story to read on a Saturday afternoon. Well, folks, I'm going to tell you it's not. That is not what it is. It's my story of depth. It's my story of expansion. It's my story of grieving deep. It's my story about becoming aware of emotions and growing into something I didn't even know existed. And no, that was not easy while I did that. It just wasn't. Wasn't easy. But I. It was guided to write it all down. And today, you know, we're talking about uncertainty. I can kind of. I can share with you. This is the first time I was kind of uncertain. This is the first time that I'm not at my desk at my house in Atlanta. I'm visiting family and meeting my new nephew for the first time. And quite honestly, I had no idea how I was going to be able to record a podcast. But I trust in myself that I would figure it out along the way. And that's part of how we find stability, is not the removal of fear, but the trust in our ability to move through challenges. And, you know, part of the issue and part of the reason that life gets a little easier the older you get if you're in a conscious place, because you can remember the good times, even when you're in dark times. You can remember the grandness, even when you're feeling empty. You can remember the feeling of flying, even though today you feel stuck. And so for a lot of you on this podcast, you've been around your own spiritual journey long enough that there's a natural sense that no matter how challenging it is today, tomorrow or the next day or the next day will be easier because you've gone through it a lot. Now, for those of you that are newer to this process, I empathize because I can tell you, in the beginning, I'd have a dark Tuesday, and the only thing my brain was telling me about Wednesday is that it's going to be darker. And then on Wednesday, I made sure because my brain would tell me, Wednesday's darker than Tuesday. And you know what? That's fine because we're going to make sure that Thursday, Friday, Saturday is even worse. And that's one of the things we're going to talk about here in this in a second. And for those of you that have been around a while, you know, I kind of poke fun because I'm a follower. What I'm really good at, I have to say, I've been become very practiced at hearing a power greater than myself and following that direction. Well, the day after my dad dies in January, I was scheduled to do a podcast. And the podcast is Wayne Dyer quotes Jesus. That's the beginning of it. It's in the beginning of January. I'm grieving most of the time. I'm in A very dark time. I'm in a very difficult time grieving the death of a close family member. But I did the podcast anyways because I wanted people to know it's okay. You can be spiritually connected and grieving at the same time. You can be super aware and in depths of dark at the same time. We're multi dimensional. Well, for any of you, those, any of you that have listened to that podcast, you know, during that time we had several family members and a couple of close friends, all elderly. My father was 90, he had a great life. My sister's father in law was 99. He had a great life. And they passed. But we were talking about the pruning of the old generation and the new generation coming in. And sure enough, I've over these past couple of months, I have a new nephew named Lucas, I have a new niece named Everly. And they are just precious additions to our family. And during the depths of my difficulty back in January, because Lucas wasn't born until the end of January, my dad died. The beginning. But even during those difficult times, I knew it'd get over. I knew I'd move through it. I knew I would and I was looking forward. And now I've got to meet Lucas. And he's just about as precious as a newborn baby can be. So I tell each of you the people that are on a spiritual path and have been for a while, part of the way you find stability isn't by looking at the new job, the new location, the new relationship, the new bank account. It's about looking inside. And when you look inside, I want to kind of teach you what you're looking for because. And that's where we're going to get into a larger conversation here towards the end is what we're looking for. The spiritual guidance. What truly is spiritual growth? What is it like? What does it mean? And more than that, not just what does it mean? Oh, I'm being enlightened. All the bs. How do you use it and how do you do it? How do you literally follow that power greater than yourself? We're going to talk about that in a minute. And I always like to kind of start with the mental side of self and fear. Even though 99.999% of all fear is made up, it is. That's a stat, a fact. Fear is typically made up. But the consequence of fear is not the powerlessness, the uncomfortableness, the very. I don't even know the word fear has a real consequence. It has a true effect on us. So I want you to hear from me straight up, right from the beginning, that if you're afraid about whatever your it is, please know you're okay, know you're okay. And understand that you can be fearful and deeply connected at the same time. You can be fearful and deeply religious at the same time. You can be fearful and be deeply grateful at the same time. And for those of you who are only fearful, I empathize because that's. I'm trying not to cuss, but this would be the sentence right here that if I had to describe it because I lived it. The people that don't have the experience of abundant tomorrow. For those of you that don't have the experience of I made it through deep and dark and then I made it out and I'm on the other side. For those of you that have only kind of known the deep and dark that was me. And the ten years before I went into my seven year journey, I worked seven days a week. So it wasn't like there was that much glory and joy and all of that then either. Drinking, drug and sexing and working out all the time wasn't a whole lot of fun. I was on a constant. I was on the constant hamster wheel. But what I learned when I finally slowed down a little bit, what I learned was the fear you were feeling today about your tomorrow. Where that comes from is the voices in your head. The voices in your head that are telling you your tomorrow's going to be worse than your today. And I share this with you because today for Joe, when I think of my tomorrow, I always think about my tomorrow grander than my today. I'll never forget the first time that happened. Ten, 15 years ago, probably maybe a little longer. I realized I had crossed over something. Because before that, it didn't matter how much money I had in the bank, the person I was with, the job I was doing, how big I was in the gym, none of that mattered. My voices always predicted my tomorrow to be worse, worse than my today. That's why many of you have heard the story about the woman that I've yet to meet, that when I read her document, September of 2022, she was talking about a grander tomorrow in that document. That's what re sparked my divinity after 25 years of kind of being quiet, kind of being super private. So what I want to start with today is the how to is get out that pad of paper and you start thinking about your tomorrow and then start listening to what the voices are saying in your head. Instead of avoiding, instead of trying to change, instead of trying to act like they're not there. I say it a lot and I always have to caveat. If some technique is working for you that I don't necessarily agree with, please keep doing it. I applaud you. If it's working, keep doing it. But quite honestly, this is where I have such a challenging time with the positive affirmation delusion. Because it doesn't work. How do I know? Well, because anybody listening to this podcast, you've all heard about the positive affirmation. And if it worked like people say it would work, then all of us are already walking on water. We're making it wrong. We're making. No, but what I'm telling you to do, instead of trying to change the mind of your glass empty part, your hurt part, your ego part, whatever you're calling it today, instead of trying to change it, I want you to write it. I want you to acknowledge it. I want you to write those voices down, whatever it is. And let's say you're in a job and you can see the writing on the wall and you know, AI's coming in and people are being laid off, and you just don't know what the heck you're going to do. You know? You know, and I want to say this out loud. If you're in that case, of course you're feeling uncertain. Yes, uncertainty is not a bad thing. It's uncomfortable as crap. But the question is, how do we get our feet on stable ground even though our external world is unstable? That's what I'm going to get here today. But. Or you're living somewhere and you need to move. You're. You got hired somewhere else and you're getting ready to move. Your kids are trying to launch and you don't know what the hell you're going to do. Your husband and you and your husband just divorced and you don't know what you're going to do. That's why the divorce and the reinvention, that's one of them. That's somebody I'm hoping to get to be one of the contributors here. I came across the website called Divorce Post that I don't even know these people, but I thought, what the heck? That's exactly what I want to be able to refer that website a thousand times because I want you to be able to go places specifically directly that help on specific topics. Well, that particular website, from what I can see, does. I haven't been able to talk to the owner yet, but I'm planning to. Because divorce rates are higher than ever. The need to reinvent yourself is higher than ever. Why? Well, because we're on a spiritual path. And it's not a right or wrong. It's your growing. If you're on this podcast, you're growing. Now, maybe you're on this podcast and your partner's right next to you and you're both listening, but there's a huge percentage of people that one person's on a path like this that is more sensing themselves to be spiritual versus religious. That 67% stat that I've talked about a lot and others aren't. And quite honestly, if you're in personal relationship, that relationship as an entity itself, there's you, there's your partner, then there's the relationship that the two of you create. That relationship is either growing or it's going. It's either getting stronger or it's getting weaker. It's either getting more connected or the paths are separating. And is that a right or wrong? No. I know there's a lot of religions that tell you you're going to burn in hell because of it. That's just BS in my opinion. It just is. Why? Because God put the spiritual growth in you, okay? God put that spiritual growth in you. And it's not your fault if you out. If you spiritually outgrow your partner, because again, it literally one of the big verses in the Bible, these shall not be unequally yoked. Well, if you're growing and your partner's not, that's called unequally yoked. Now, a lot of times you can manage it. You don't have to go separate ways, but a lot of times you do. So the first exercise I want people to do and to understand is a uncertainty is all part of life, but how we connect. And uncertainty is all part of life because you don't really know what tomorrow is going to bring. We don't. And that's a natural state of uncertainty. Of course it is. But what makes it worse are the voices. So the very first thing I'm going to ask you to do is to start writing those voices down. Start thinking about whatever the challenge is in your world, and then listen and write. I always go to AI because it's a big issue. It is. AI is moving humanity in a direction of intellectual and knowledge faster than ever before. Now, the one thing about AI, it can never replace human connection. It can never replace human empathy. It can never replace human compassion. The humanity of us, where we emotionally and spiritually connect. AI can never replace. Now, AI can tell you how to spell all those things. AI could write you a book on all those things, things AI could tell you exercises to get your physical body better. But it can't replace the emotional side of self. It can't. Now it's going to enhance the mental side of self. And it is. So if you're in that world and things are changing and you just don't know what's up and what's down, write that down. AI is taking over my job. And then listen. And then listen and write down every glass empty fear based voice you have about your job. And because it's probably going to say something about something. Glass empty. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'll never find another job. I can't make enough money, I'm not smart enough to do something else. I don't know what your voices are, but I'm telling you, if you keep avoiding them, they bury you. If you keep trying to change their mind, they bury you. If you keep acting as if the voices aren't there, your uncertainty will double, triple, and then quad itself. Why? Because the voices left unchecked get bigger, bigger, bigger. And the more voices there are, the more you believe the voices. As if the voices are the truth. They're not the voices in your head predicting a glass empty tomorrow. That's not the truth. The truth is there's an abundance waiting for you in your tomorrow. We just have to get you there again. When I'm grieving the death of my dad, I knew that when I was doing it, that the abundance of new life, of a new nephew, of a new niece was coming. Now, did that, did I use that to stay out of my depths of difficulty? No. I grieved it. Listen to that episode, you'll see. Wayne Dyer quotes Jesus, I cry most of the time. Through it I tell my story literally so. But when you write the voices down and tell somebody else, you're moving more into a multi dimensional position of yourself. If you're only you with your glass empty voices, the voices that repeatedly beat you up saying, you can't, you won't, you never will, you're not good enough, blah, blah, blah, it's never going to happen. It works for everybody else if you're left alone. To those voices, uncertainty not only gets bigger and worse, but misery then starts kicking in too. Darkness then takes over. Why? Because if the only thought you have is something of your today's already horrible, but your tomorrow is going to Be worse. What the heck. No wonder that's such a challenging place to live from. But what happens as you start writing them down and then you have the courage to tell somebody else that list? Then the part doing the writing is the part that can literally start helping you hear a different you. So how we change our world, our literal external world, is we have to change the internal guidance system we're following. Let me repeat that. The way you change your external world. So many people, and I'm not kidding, especially spiritual, religious, whatever they say. Well, all you do have to do is believe in God and everything's going to be okay. No, it's not. You can believe in God all you want, but God is not the one taking your actions. You believe in God, but what are you believing in God for? What is God's role? What is your higher power's role? What's Jesus's role to give you the strength and courage to take different actions? Well, Joe, how do I know if I need to take different actions? That's why you do the first step, because here's the facts. If you continue. I've had different friends of mine that I bet I'm a quarter of. Whatever the issue is to predict somebody's tomorrow, literally 99% of the time to predict somebody's behavior of tomorrow, all you have to do is look at their action step of their yesterday. And if they've changed nothing today, their behaviors tomorrow will be identical to the action steps of their yesterday. Why? Because they've got the same voices in their head that guided them yesterday are guiding them tomorrow. Now, if that's taking you to a wonderful place and you're on top of the world and you're writing books and you feel great and you're full of love and you're giving overflow, keep following that voice. But for the other 99%, the voices of your yesterday are taking you into a place of today. That uncertainty is your common fear is your normal and you're just scared of tomorrow. Well, that's why we want to shift and help you become aware, awareness to the different you. And from that position right then over time, we change. We don't change the glass empty voices, we cut the power of them in half. And then we start adding glass full voices and you start discerning. Am I going to listen to and take action steps on the glass full full voice or the glass empty voice? It's where life coach comes into play. Life coach helps sort all that out. Now the emotional component of all of this is Hard. You know the bottom line. Uncertainty means the only reason you're uncertain right now or have any level of fear of uncertainty right now and you don't feel safe. I don't feel safe with the future right now is because something is changing in your today which causes you angst to think about your tomorrow. If everything was stable today, there would be no fear of tomorrow. If everything. If you'd already gone through the growth, if you've already gone through the awareness, if you already shifted into the new job, the new relationships, the whatever the it is, if you're already there and you're listening, a lot of this is redundant because you're doing it already, yourself, intuitively, if no other way. But for most of us, we're in the center of that change. And I don't care what the change is. There's an emotional component to the change. There is. And it's that emotional component to the change that the influencers of yesterday don't help you embrace. More and more, I'm hearing them more and more. I'm hearing people say, you got to feel your feelings a little bit. I heard a couple of men talking. There was just beautiful little survey a woman did and everything she wants from a man. And these guys are like, oh, wow, that touched me at this, at that. But no one left that podcast knowing how the heck to do what that woman wanted. No one did. So those guys thought it was great. They went home and treated their wives the exact same way. And I'm not saying it good or bad, right or wrong, I'm just saying that's what happens. Well, as life changes, as humanity wakes up more and more, as the emotional side of you, as the feminine side of you wakes up more and more and more every day, the feminine side of you cannot wake up without the emotional component of you being more integrated into your world, which is the exact opposite of the New Thought movement that started 40 years ago. Now, the New Thought movement was a heck of a lot better than what was before that, because what was before that was zero. Completely unconsciousness. That's the era I grew up in. I literally was in a conversation with my older sister, who's a few years older, and her daughter, who's the mother of my nephew. And we were talking about it just in conversation, and I was. You know, we were saying how with our parents, they never told us they loved us. Never. And they weren't doing it purposely. We weren't raised that way. They weren't raised that way. Well, my sister told her kids she loved them every day of their lives. And now my niece, who's in her upper 20s, almost 30, but upper 20s with a newborn baby, she was talking about it. Oh, yeah, you know, I got it all the time. That's a literal example of we are the generation of change. My sister gave to her daughter something that was not given to her. That's us, folks. We are that generation. And now her daughter, who's got the newborn baby, has a whole new awareness of what his needs are emotionally. Because Lucas is born in the era of time where emotional support and empowerment and all that is becoming more of a normal. In this exact circumstance, the dad of Lucas has made comments to the wife about how saying I love you is harder for him because he never got it. Now he's doing it. He's kind of pushing himself. He knows he needs to, and he's doing. And I applaud him. It's not freaking comfortable. It's not. But the change. And when you go through change, whatever the change is, from a new job to a new partnership to a new location, whatever the change is you're going through, there's an emotional component to it. The psychic death, the grieving process. And most people just act like it's not there. And then they wonder why, years later, they're in a new job with a new house, with a cool wife and plenty of money, but they still feel heavy, they still feel dark. They feel like a wet blanket over their head. Well, yes, because you went from one reality into a new reality and you didn't grieve the process of the old reality, of shifting out of the old reality. Now, does it have to be some long, drawn out take forever? No. Sometimes, yes. All the times, no. Sometimes it's just a recanting, a reclaiming of the yesterday. You talk about it a little bit and you reminisce a little bit. And it's okay to be sad. Even though you're leaving a job you hated. It's okay to feel sad. Two, deeply okay to feel sad. If your partnership of 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, went two different directions. And even though you knew it's the right thing, of course there's a grieving process, the emotional process of grieving the old, it's like a cleansing process of grieving the old. Now, for me, I did that a lot. I still do it. I really do. I put music, I put headphones on my ears. I lock myself in a room so I'm safe and quiet. And I grieve, quite honestly, until I'M done. And in that whole world of grieving, my yesterday, in my today, it allows my tomorrow to be different. So literally, as I was grieving the death of my father, Lucas wasn't even born yet. By the time I'm here Now in June, 90% of the grief of my dad being gone is gone. It doesn't affect my new relationship with Lucas at all. If I hadn't done all that grieving because my father passes and Lucas was born all within a two or three week period of time, literally, the grieving process or the lack thereof, you can create, you can project your own grief of a parent onto a newborn baby. And every time that baby triggers the grief of your parent, the loss of the parent. And that's the type of stuff that as humanity wakes up more and more and more, we have to be aware that there's an emotional component. When my past wife and I went our separate directions, we just outgrew each other. Bottom line, she needed things from me in a marriage. I just didn't have the ability to give her. I didn't. Did it make me right or wrong? No. Did it make her right or wrong? No. Just made us two people. And our paths didn't continue to grow. The relationship called us didn't continue to grow. And literally, I remember that whole process. And we had our challenges and we sought therapy and we tried to make it through different times. Neither one of us really wanted a divorce. We had two young kids. But one day she walked in, she tells me on a Tuesday, I've got something to tell you on Saturday. I'm like, oh crap, I know it's coming. One or two things. Well, one of the issues I knew wasn't at all. And she said it. She said, joe, I've divorced you. That wasn't what made me leave. It was the second statement that she said, and I don't love you anymore. Well, I have enough self esteem and enough self worth that I'm not going to be partnered with a woman who has the courage to tell me her truth, that she didn't love me anymore. And that was hard. But a week later I was out. A week later I had to move on. Now, how did I do? It was. There was. As I was moving on, did I know I was okay? Yes. I've been on a spiritual path at that point over 20 years. Did I know everything was going to work out? Yes, I did. Why? Because I have faith. Yes. But faith in what? Not faith in God, faith in myself. How do I have faith in myself? Because I know God or my higher power is going to give me the strength and courage I need to keep moving forward. Even when I'm emotionally distraught, feeling hurt, blinded by darkness. I knew that the power greater than me was going to give me the strength and courage I needed for Joe to keep taking the action steps necessary to keep moving forward. And I did. Now was it easy? No, it wasn't. I left with everything that I could fit in the front seat of my car again. I wish I knew about this divorce post concept, this website, because in my world all I wanted was my kids clothes and I knew I could rebuild it again. That was the third time I was going to have to do it and I did. Hence now 10 years later, I could go on and on about the abundance in my world that I want it to happen then. No. And as it was happening, did I know I was okay? Yes. And knowing I was okay does not mean there's an absence of emotion. No. The reason I felt stable and I felt secure is because I trusted myself that I could pray, ask for spiritual guidance, ask for the strength and courage needed to keep moving forward, moving out of the house, finding a new place, getting new furniture, creating a whole new life. And I had to grieve. I had to grieve my location, I had to grieve the city I lived in. I had to grieve the house I bought. I had to grieve the structure of my home. You know, up until that point, my oldest son, I had only been away from him four days his entire life. Well now all of that was changing. So I had to grieve all of that old so that I could move forward into the new. But you don't sit there, you're moving forward while you're grieving the old. And that's the part. Some of us grieve quickly, some of us grieve slowly, some of us grieve super deep. Some people don't need to. But what I want you to become aware of is how you handle things in your today are going to be different than how you handled them in the past. Because the spiritual process, the spiritual awakening that's happening for you is also bringing up emotional. It also is bringing up your communion to your emotions. I've got a website, I've got an episode out there called why you feel stuck. And I can tell you that I don't really feel that experience anymore. I don't feel stuck. Why? Because I don't call being in a week or two or three or four or in this case, even longer of grief. I don't call that stuck. I call that the grieving process. I call that waking up to my emotional sense of self. I call that honoring the totality of me. And a lot of times, people, if you're grieving more than one hour or two hours, you define that. Because society says, well, just change your mind. Or you have. You don't have control of the outcome, but you have control of your reaction to the outcome. I love it. I love the concept. I wish it worked. I love that. The problem is, anybody that is that analytical in these days, good luck. Because when the end result of something happens in your world that isn't something you wanted, even if it is something you wanted, to just automatically think you can stay out of your heart and into your head. Because I can control the reaction. The word control is the issue. The word control is the issue. We are moving into an era of time. You can't call yourself surrendered to a power greater than yourself, but controlling your emotions and your reactions and your thoughts, those are not in the same sentence. You're either in surrender or pursuing it or you're not. And I'm not saying either is right or wrong. I'm telling you. In this next section, I'm going to talk about the spiritual awakening process, the surrendering process, and understand, you know, there's an emotional component to every interaction you have in life. The letting go process. People talk like it's a fricking light switch on and off. Just let it go and move on. If I hear, if I. Every time I heard that online, if I had five cents, I'd be a millionaire. It's not true. Falsehood. I don't know what else to say. Again, if I was cussing, I would have 47 ugly adjectives to say right here, folks. Letting go is not an action step. It's not. Letting go happens as the consequence of grieving, the reason you're holding on in the first place. Let me say that again. Letting go is the consequence. It's the end result. It's the experiential reward after the fact. You have to ask yourself the question, if I can't let go, the search, the discovery isn't in the I can't let go. The question has to be, why am I holding on? Why am I holding on? Answer is always pain. Period. Pain. So if you heal the pain and you grieve the pain, and I'm sorry to tell you, I'm the bearer of bad news a lot around here on this podcast yeah, it might take more than four freaking minutes. It might take more than four days. And I try to be empathetic. I really do. I went through the period of process I really did for. I'm not suggesting anyone has to go seven years like I did, but it's a process, folks. It takes time. And when you're moving on and you're shifting and you're growing and everything's changing, I had to. I didn't feel myself holding on to the life structure I had. I had a structure prior to while I was married, of a mom and dad and two kids, and my kids saw me every day. That was the structure. And that wasn't easy to just go poof out. Nope, don't give a crap about that anymore. No, I'd aggrieve that. That my kids couldn't come home every day and see me now, interestingly enough, came full circle. My boys have lived with me full time now, almost nine years. Did I know that at the time? No, I didn't. But the whole idea of moving forward and understanding that the way you become stable inside while your external world is so chaotic is not in the pursuit of removing emotion. It is okay to be afraid if you are afraid. It's not okay to let your fears run your life. No. But if you're afraid, if you spend all your time trying to pray to remove the fear, then you're sitting still, becoming more and more unstable. And that's where so many influencers, whatever, they're focused on the act of dismissal. Act like those voices aren't there, act like that fear is not there, and just keep moving on anyway. Get your backside off the couch and just go do it. Just go do it. I hear that one a lot on a couple pretty big influencers. And I'm like, you know what? If they could have done that already, they would have, whoever the person is on the couch, why can't they? 10,000 voices telling them to sit their backside on that couch. What do we do with those 10,000 voices? Well, around here, if you're on my podcast or one of my workshops, I'd buy you three pads of paper. Because if you have so many voices that you literally cannot get off the couch, which there are people like that, then you got to start writing the voices. The voices. The voices. You'll have ten, you'll have a hundred of them. I had 112 pages work, literally. And once you get the voices out and you tell somebody else, you start feeling lighter. A grander part of you starts Guiding. Instead of always the glass empty part. Well, in the emotional part, how do we gain stability? A. Understand that emotion is part of your world. It is. And for the male listeners out here, you're going to see, watch your female partner. They get this a lot easier than a lot of men do. They do Women. Women have this. A lot of women have this innate ability to commune with their emotion. And it's not that I don't want to. I don't want to put words. It's not like it's not. It seems natural and normal. Now, is that the case for everybody? No. But for men, and I can talk for me, big boys do not cry. Up until my mid-30s, and I'll never forget the period of time when my feminine side started really kicking in. I thought I had lost my mind. And my therapist said, well, Joe, you have lost your mind. You lost your mind, Joe, but you found your heart. And I thought, wow, that's really cool. I thought I was done. I thought I was done. No, the grieving process just started when I found my heart. So understanding that a huge component of your instability and the reason there is a feeling of unsafe, the feeling of not okay, of our future isn't necessarily because you don't know the. The end result of where you're going to end up, but the feeling of unsafe is your inner essence saying to us, I'm sad. Is he gonna. Is he gonna. Is he gonna embrace my fear or no, I'm sad. Is he gonna embrace my grief or no, I'm afraid. Is he gonna let. Give a voice to my deeper fears or not? The lack of safety you're feeling, folks, is not because you don't know what job you're gonna get. The lack of safety is intuitively parts of you are concerned that you're not going to embrace the emotions that are coming up because of the job change, because of the location change, because of the relationship change. Now, I will tell you, as I went through my divorce, as I started a new business, as I started the business I'm doing now, I don't feel unstable ever. Even though everything in my world is changing, literally. Why? Because I have 100% confidence in myself that whatever emotion comes up based on the circumstance of my life, I will embrace it. I will give a voice to it, and I will feel whatever I need to feel. So my external world can be completely chaotic. It's like that. Now. My oldest son just graduated college literally a month ago. He was going to go to Indiana and be an elite athlete in The Big Ten. All that changed. And in two weeks, he's moving into. Now everything is different. You have to get a name, apartment. He's going to a whole new school. Everything has changed at the exact same time. My. My youngest is no longer a high school. He's a high school student, and everything is changing with him. I go on and on, but do I feel insecure? No. Do I feel unstable? No. Why? Because I know whatever emotion comes up, I'm going to address the emotion. I have confidence that I can address the emotion. So how do you really gain a sense of stability in an unstable external world? Commit to yourself that you are going to embrace any emotional consequence of something that happens in your world as a. As the consequence of your external world changing. And what that. Does that make the emotion any easier? No. Does that make the darkness and the fear go away? No, but it gives us a sense of my feet on the ground. Because I'm going to address whatever emotion comes up as I can't find a job, I'm going to get support with my emotions. When my partner leaves and finds another, I'm gonna. I'm gonna make sure that I'm emotionally connected to the mad, glad, sad, and scared as my bank account continues to dwindle. Now, is God going to put money in your bank account? No. God's going to give you the strength and courage to go get a job you need and show up every day to go make money to put money back in your bank account while you're feeling fear, while you're grieving every day. Why? While you're in emotional challenge. And that's where people get so freaking confused. They literally believe that, well, if I believe in God, all the emotional part goes away. No, it doesn't at all. Zero. I said in the workshop, not longer. Love does not heal. Hear me, folks, Love does not heal. It doesn't. Love creates a safe environment so you can heal. Strength comes from the same place love does. Love doesn't heal. It doesn't. Love creates the environment so you can heal. And that's where you pray for strength if you're in an emotional place. So truly, stability comes from your commitment to address, embrace, and get help around any emotional reaction or emotional consequence of your external world. And you watch when you make that commitment to yourself emotionally, how much more secure you feel while you're grieving at your depths, how much more secure you feel as you're terrified because you got to get a whole new career because of AI or whatever the it is, truly. And that Sense of wholeness does not mean the removal of the difficult times. It doesn't. Ye who travels through the valley of dark, whatever that biblical phrase is, they come out the other side stronger. That's a real life thing. But how? Well, because what happens is as you go through dark times enough, and you come out the other side, and that's more for the people that have been on a path longer, spiritual, emotional path. There's a lot of people in challenging times, but they've got a sense of confidence in themselves that they can do the it again. When I left my past marriage, I knew for a fact I could rebuild everything I'd built before I knew I could. And that wasn't cocky. That was just confidence. Why? Because I'd done it before. So if you're on this side of the path, it's a little easier. Things don't feel as uncertain because you trust yourself. And that's where certainty comes from, is the trust of self. Trust of self emotionally, trust of self in the setting of action steps. Truly that gives stability while the external world and everything outside side of you is so crazy. And quite honestly, that was the emotional growth component when I really got that. And it's been a while ago, it's how I really could feel more and more stable when everything outside of myself, everything outside of my world felt unstable. Now, the last part I want to talk about here is the spiritual part position here. I want to talk about what spiritual growth is, what spiritual faith is, and our spiritual path is. So many people will say it. And you have huge religions across the globe that I support, all of them. Just trust in God and put your faith in Christ and put your faith in Buddha. Yes, yes. Does that get you a job? No. No, it doesn't. Not Jesus's job to get you a job, folks. Not God's job to get you a job. Yours it is. And where. I guess that's just why I'm the how to guy. That's why my podcast is exploding. I'm going to go through these next 15, 20 minutes and help people understand. How do you follow Jesus? How do you follow your higher power? How? Well, it's simple. Inside of self. We do all these different exercises in the glass empty voices in your. In you. The glass empty voices. Because those glass empty voices are the opposite of your higher sense of self. If you remember that. I describe each human as a we. Human self, higher self, emotional self. We. The we. It's where the we podcast came from. Each person has a we, and then collectively the Bigger consciousness. Collectively, we are becoming a. We are. The we community is becoming very. Is global, quite honestly. And the power of that is such because the essence in you that's guiding you here is identical to the essence in me that's doing the podcast. I call it divinity. And how do I know that? Because when I went through my experience four years ago and came back out into the world, I started hearing these biblical phrases and I had the thought of, I wonder what the very last thing Jesus said and the way. And since I'm not a Bible reader and I believe that the deities of the past and whole religions, I am supportive of all of them, but this one human. The whole the way my brain worked, I said, you know, today is June 9, 2026, because of one date, one man, ADBC after death before Christ. So I figured, doesn't it make sense I should at least listen to what the guy's got to say? I'm being very candid, right? And I asked AI what was the last thing Jesus said? And one of the quotes, along with several other quotes, is, Jesus said, I have to go sit by my father, so my father by the side of my father, so my father can put the same spirit that has guided me in you. In you. So I want to start right there, folks. So many different social environments for millennia have described your God essence, your Christ essence, your Buddha essence as something outside of you. Well, God's in the tree, but God's also inside of you. How do I know? 40 go to chat if you're not a Bible reader, how many times does the Bible reference Christ consciousness in you. In you. And people wonder why it's so hard to follow God. People wonder why I've got all this faith. I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I believe that Buddha was a powerful man. I believe that God is all good. I believe it all. But I'm blind. Like, why can't I follow it? How do you follow the belief? How do you make. How do you bring that belief into your Tuesday morning action steps? Well, first off, you have to understand that power is in you. It's inside of you and everywhere else also. But it's inside of you. Because if you don't understand that, how are you going to be guided by something if you can't hear it, if you can't feel it, if you can't sense it, how else are you going to be guided? Well, you're not. And that's why people walk around bewildered and dumbfounded because they have all this faith. They go to church every day. They have all this faith in God that God's going to take care of, God's going to take care of, God's going to take care of. As if they don't have to do anything or they're not part of the equation. Well, the phrase God can only do for you what God can do through you fits right here. And when you truly understand that the spiritual essence of a power grander than yourself is inside of you, it starts making more sense. So when Joe talks about glass empty voices that are the hurtful, hateful, I'm not good enough, I'm too fat, I'm too ugly, I'm too skinny, I'm too black, white, purple, green, whatever, right? Those voices, those are the voices of our wounded ego. Your glass full voices are the voices of a power greater than you. Hear me. The glass full voices that you hear, the all possibility voice you hear in your head, you feel in your heart. Are you sense in your belly, which are different guidance systems for different people. Literally I hear God talk to me. I can feel the presence of wonderment and overflow in my heart. And literally in the past 60 days, I can feel my stomach chakra open for the first time. I've been on a spiritual path since I'm 26. I can feel my chakra, my, my, my stomach chakra open and I'm sensing things I didn't even know existed before. So however it works for you, when you really understand that power is in, in you. Now the question is how do you make sure that's the voice you're being guided by? And sometimes it's hit and miss, but that's truly what spiritual enlightenment is. Bringing light, bringing awareness to the higher sense of yourself in you. And then as you become aware of it, that's the beginning. You have to understand it's there. But then learning how to follow that voice is the key. Truly, that's the key. So what is spiritual surrender? What is it? Well, it's simple, not easy to do. But simple spiritual surrender is when you have a conscious awakening. You become consciously aware that I'm going to do the best I can to follow the glass full voices in my head. Instead of the glass empty voices in my head. I'm going to surrender the guidance system that I take action upon to the voices that the glass full voices versus the glass empty voices. When you surrender the need to be in control, which are your glass empty voices? The I'm this and I know and I'm in control and I get to decide and all of that, that's the I, the ego I. When you really start becoming aware that there's a grander you guiding you and helping you go in a direction that's going to be for a grander you, and you start following that, that process is called surrender. Now, is surrender in actions? Is surrender a light switch? No. That's why it's called enlightenment. That's why we call it spiritual awakening. Not spiritual one action step awake. But spiritual awakening, you're spiritually awakening. And literally years and years and years and years ago, the only way I was ever guided by that was I would stand at a sobstein and whatever my old addictive voices wanted to do, if my old addicted voices wanted me to go left, I would just go right. Literally, I would do the opposite of whatever one of my addictive voices wanted me to do. Now, was I guided? Could I hear it? Could I feel it? No, I couldn't do anything. I was blind to all of that. And. But I just knew that going the old way always kept me in trouble, always kept me in the dark, always kept me in a life I hated. So I just made that decision. I was going to go the other way. And then I became more and more practiced to that and the whole concept of spiritual growth. The more practiced you become at following your gut instincts, at following your intuition by following your glass full you. The more practiced you become, the more spiritually you grow. The growth component is layer. Adding a layer and adding a new layer and a new layer and a new layer of awareness to a grander you guiding you. Now, again, the grander you can't pick up the pencil, but the grander you can tell you to pick up the pencil. The day after my dad died, I did not want to do that podcast. I didn't. But I was guided. Joe, sit down and talk. Get behind that mic and share with the world. It's okay to be in grief and be consciously awake, because I am both literally and from that position. Right. That I want to necessarily. I can't say that I didn't really want to, but it was not easy. It wasn't comfortable, and I need people to understand. Just because you're guided by a power greater than yourself, does that remove emotion? No, it doesn't. In fact, it might amp up emotion if you're going to be quite honest. You might feel more emotional, you might feel more of the mad, the sads and the scared. You might. Why? Because a power greater than you knows you got to get all that stuff out to truly have freedom. You have to get all that emote stuffed emotion out to truly feel light. Because all emotion that's suppressed inside of you causes a wet blanket. It causes suppression, it causes depression eventually. And it causes all the crazy voices, heal all the emotion, those voices that positive affirmations are trying to change you heal the emotion. Because every glass empty voice has an emotional source in your heart or in your belly. That's why trying to change your mind in your mind does nothing. Because the source of the voice is not in your mind. The source of the voice is a hurt in your heart, in your belly. That's why the dual hand journaling and all of that. Well, when you go through spiritual growth, the grieving process that happens is a lot of times you have to grieve the old to be able to expand into the new. It's like the snake. The snake sheds its old skin. I don't know if a snake is literally grieving the old skin, but humanity needs to grieve the emotional consequence called the old you, the old skin. So as you're awakening more and more and more and you're growing more and more and more, basically what it means is that you're becoming more connected consciously to a grander you in the driver's seat. And that's where in the program, in the 12 step programs, you'll hear people say, I'm a grateful recovering alcoholic. I remember the first time I heard that word grateful. I just thought that person was completely nuts. I mean, talk about a showboat and this and that. I mean, of course my critical voices were horrible. But what happens? Quite honestly, what is a 12 step program? All of them. AA, Al, Anon, you know, food addiction, drug addiction, all of them. The 12 steps are 12 action steps to get you closer to a power greater than yourself. That's what the 12 steps are. And the service step, which is the 12 step giving back in an AA program is you help other alcoholics go through the same process. Well, you walk through that process long enough for a long enough period of time, eventually you create a relationship with a power greater than yourself. And each person has their own relationship. There's no right or wrong. It's each person has their own. But eventually what happens is somebody does it long enough, they move into that place to where in the beginning they have no relationship with God and they're 99.99% ego. Well, eventually they move in that position where they've got a relationship with a power greater than himself that reaches that 51% mark. And then 53 and then 60, and then 72. And somewhere when the power greater than you, making most of your decisions for you, that's where you become that grateful recovering alcoholic. Why? Because with no alcoholism as a disease, no meetings, no relationship with the power greater, and it's the same in the awakening sense. What's the difference between religion and spirituality? I've got a whole podcast that. Spirituality versus religious. Is either one right or wrong? No. But 67% of society considers themselves more spiritual than religious. But I kind of describe religion more is as creating a relationship with a power greater. If you're a Christian, a relationship with Jesus, where it's kind of you and Jesus walking hand in hand. Now, how do you do it? Is a different topic, but I'm going to get to that in a second. It's more like hand in hand, where the spiritual awakening process is you becoming one with a power greater than you, not a separate entity than a power greater than you. You and your divinity become one. And that's where oneness comes from. And the whole awakening process, right, we grow, we continue to add new awakening after new awakening after new awakening. Over time, it just becomes more comfortable. Over time, it just becomes a natural part of who we are. Every. Every new item, whatever. It was on a Monday, it didn't exist. On a Tuesday, it was there. I have a whole podcast about that. Ye shall do what I've Done in Grander Things. That podcast, it's one of my earlier ones. Where did the idea of a computer come from in the 80s, 90s? Where'd it come from? Where'd the idea of flight come from? Prior to the Wright Brothers, no one had ever flown. Well, the Wright Brothers didn't think about flying when they were six at some spot. On a Tuesday, it wasn't there. On a Wednesday, it was. I believe that's their divinity inside of them, giving them those ideas. And then they took action. And now look at how the world flies now. So the whole idea of waking up and how our spiritual sense of self is where you can gain a sense of stability, a sense of safeness, even though you have no idea what your tomorrow is going to be. Why? Because when you really understand that a power greater than you, the God of our understanding, looks at us like a child, looks at us like his children, God's children. And a father, a loving father, only wants great things for you. It does. And when I really understood that, right, it just made sense to me that I was so angry at God forever because I said, if God Loved me, I wouldn't be in so much pain. One day I realized it wasn't God that caused my pain, it was me. It was my unconscious parents. It was the environment I grew up, not God. God didn't cause any pain. God was the one giving me the strength and courage to heal my pain. God was the one giving me the strength and courage to have the wisdom to even know I was in pain. The awakening process, I didn't even know that. I didn't even know forever in my younger years. Well, it's the same now. When you truly understand. And where stability comes now in today is when you commit to truly follow the grander you. How do you follow it? You listen for the glass full voices. That's how you do it. It's not easy. You can have all the faith in Jesus you want, but if you think Jesus is outside of you, even though the Bible says Christ consciousness in you a dozen times now, of course no one's going to tell you that from the pulpit because that isn't the belief. And I'm not making any religion right or wrong, folks. I'm not. If it's working for you, how it is, great. But for you, 70% that are waking up around the globe knowing there's something different, that something different is the communion in you. What is your true life purpose is to connect with that grander you and then live through it. Why do I call us the generation of change? Because more and more of us are waking up to the understanding that we are a multidimensional being. We're waking up to the understanding that the grander sense of self in us, the divinity in us, is wanting to guide our lives. And the natural action step of your divinity is to give back. The natural action step and loving action step of your humanity is to create gratitude. You go produce, you receive, you feel grateful. You go produce, you receive, you feel grateful. You produce, you receive, you feel grateful. You have a job. That's exactly what's happening. You're building a business. That's exactly what's happening. It's a beautiful thing. But folks, it's the launch, not the end. It's the launch point, not the end point. The end point is then in that next adventure, the next thing to do is to listen to the grander you, the divinity you. And that's a part that's going to have a passion. It's going to be true intention. And as you follow it, it's going to be about giving back. And as you live in that place of Giving back. You're living from a place of your divinity. And that's why I believe, that's why my goal here at the We Podcast is 100 million downloads a month. Why? Because if I can help 1%, 100 million people, folks, it's only 1% of the globe, but if we can get 1% of the globe all living through our divinity and that 1% giving back into the world from a place of divinity, that's how we heal the world. I hope you visit my website and get my books. All of my books are written literature around everything I talk about. Joe mitiga.com write it down. It's not available yet, but it will be for free. You know, and I say that they'll always be for free. And of course, if you go there and you don't want to just download it and you want to buy it, of course you can buy hardback, whatever you want, but it will always be available for free. Why? Because I want people to be able, in the middle of the night, read something that connects. Why? Because you're changing. Why? Because humanity's waking up. It is. And as humanity wakes up more and more, our external world is going to feel more and more chaotic. It is. It's going to feel more and more unsafe. Why? Because what used to be the 30 year career in the Gold watch doesn't even exist anymore. So as our external world, as our internal world is changing spiritually, as humanity is changing spiritually, our external world, it's in chaos. It is politics and money and stock markets and travel. You name it, it's in chaos all over. How do you gain a sense of stability? Write down the voices in your head that are glass empty. Write them down, share them with somebody else. Commit emotionally that you're willing to embrace whatever emotion comes up as you're going through your external world. And understand that spiritually, God is not here to rescue. God is here to give you the strength and courage, courage to walk forward, the strength and courage to heal if need be, the strength and courage to find that new job, the strength and courage to empower a community, the strength and courage to find your give back higher purpose, whatever it is. But you have to ask and you have to follow. And as you do that, as you write down the voices, as you commit to embrace the emotion inside, as the world spins around you, and as you commit to follow your glassful voices and learn how to do it more and more, that's the awakening process, the spiritual awakening process. And trust me, the more you do it the easier it gets. The easier it gets, the more you do it. And, folks, we are a living example. On the we podcast, we got up to 149th ranked 149th on the globe of 4 million a man and a microphone. Now, if you knew me, you would know it isn't Joe doing the talking. It's the divine part of Joe doing the talking. Talking to your divinity. And collectively, we're coming together. That's what the we community is. Collectively, we're coming together. And together, we're making a difference. Together, we're growing. Together, we're waking up. Together, we're supporting each other. And together, we're healing humanity one smile at a time. Thank you so much for your support. I really appreciate you being here.

Joe Mittiga’s tone is warm, candid, and gently provocative—equal parts empathetic and challenging. He openly shares personal vulnerabilities and hard-won wisdom, insisting on emotional and spiritual honesty over superficial positivity. The episode is inviting, direct, and deeply reassuring for anyone grappling with anxiety about an uncertain future.
Joe’s message is clear: Stability and safety are not found by controlling the future, but by learning to be present with our own thoughts and emotions—and by cultivating an inner connection to our highest, divinely inspired self. Community, support, and honesty with others are crucial. The WE Podcast aims to be a compass, guiding listeners home to themselves and reminding us all that “healing doesn’t happen alone. It happens when we remember WE.”
