If you felt lonely, isolated, disconnected, with an empty feeling inside and just yearning for more, knowing something is missing, then this podcast is for you. So here's your host, Joe Mittega. Hello and welcome to W.E. my name is Joe Mitiga and I'm the host of the WE Podcast. Today I'm going to talk about an experience that a lot of people have every day of their life. It's that experience where there's nothing really wrong, but nothing seems right. It's an experience where you can be surrounded by people, but you still feel empty. It's the experience where you don't really know what action step to take or what action step not to take. And there's not really anxiety because your brain isn't racing and you don't really feel stuck because you still can see some movement in your life, but there's still something wrong, there's something missing. And that missing is what we're going to talk about today. And I think the easiest way to really describe the missing is the experience of why do we feel so empty sometimes? And empty is that internal experience where there's like a vacancy in your belly, in your heart, in your world, in your life. And it's happening more and more today for people. And we're going to talk about why. We're going to talk about why we feel empty. We're going to talk about the solutions. A little bit later. I'm going to tell you some different podcasts to listen to so that you can, you know, if you're new here, welcome. And my whole goal with the WE podcast is to guide people through an experience that can truly make some difference in their lives. And. And, you know, I'm not a teacher and I'm not a preacher, and I'm certainly not a doctor or researcher. I'm none of those things. I'm just a guy. I'm a guy like you, and you're like me. I'm on a path. I'm on a spiritual path now. I've been on a path for a long time, praise God. I celebrated 32 years of sobriety a couple days ago, and I'm very blessed with that. And I can tell you the experience of empty. If you're feeling empty today, please know you're okay. Please know there's nothing wrong with you. And I'm going to give you some tips and some techniques to really heal it, to really fill it. And unlike the past, where a lot of people would fill their empty by creating more in their external world, this is not that Answer. Your solutions are not in your outside world. Your outside world mirrors you. It isn't a solution for you. And we're going to talk about different things you truly need to do do to heal and to shift and to grow and to become the best version of yourself, the better you. And that's what the goal is for the we podcast. I've been doing this now a while. We're on our 25th episode, and the success we've had around the globe has been quite amazing. And it just tells me that more and more people are waking up. Because if you can literally make it through a we podcast, you are a true spiritual warrior. And the grace that's happening in the world right now, humanity is waking up to a grander sense of itself from the grander, the feminine side, the spiritual side of itself. And quite honestly, the more humanity wakes up, the more a lot of us wake up any given morning and we feel more empty than we ever have before. And I know that can be really confusing. You say to yourself, what the hell, Joe? I'm doing everything right. You know, I'm praying, I'm meditating, I'm exercising, I see a therapist. I'm in 12 step, I'm doing my work, I'm journaling. But why do I feel so empty? Why do I feel so lost? Well, I'm going to share with you why, and I'm going to share some things you can do that can help fill it. But I think the best way to get started is to kind of tell people how we used to fill it and why it doesn't work, work anymore. Truth of the matter is, most people would fill their internal sense of emptiness by external successes. The entrepreneur goes out there and builds a really big business and are a successful business. And the more success they feel, the more gratitude they feel. The more gratitude they feel, the more success they have. And the more gratitude you have, the fuller your heart feels because you're full of gratitude. Yeah, that fills it up a lot. Or you're the other side of the entrepreneurial world. You invest everything you can. You've got a passion for something, you've got a purpose for it. You know, it's God's mission for you. And you go out there and it fails. Well, the stress of the failure, the stress of the finances, this stress of everything that's going on in your world, that'll fill you up too. Sometimes not necessarily in the way you want it to, but the facts of the matter is it does kind of fill you up. So the whole Idea of filling up from the outside in. That's kind of a yesterday's newspaper approach to the filling concept. And, you know, it doesn't matter anymore if you're feeling empty. It doesn't matter anymore if you have successful business or successful relationships or distractions. You know, you're doing 30 things all day long. Or create the goal list or create the dream list. Why? Because every one of those action steps are action steps of your external. Their action steps that you're pursuing outside yourself, hoping that it would fill something inside you. So let's take a second before I move on and kind of describe the differences over the past couple of podcasts. We talked about being anxious, and if you haven't listened to that podcast, definitely do. It's a good one. Or why we feel so anxious, the brain racing all the time. And I've given some great techniques on that podcast to really help calm those voices. And, you know, I have a podcast about feeling stuck. No matter what you do, you can't move. You feel like you're stuck in the muck, in the mire. Well, you know, another great one because it gives techniques. And I want people to hear that my podcasts are here for you. I wish I could take credit for it. I don't. You know, I really do. After 40 years of being on a conscious path, I really do have the capacity to simply listen and let my higher power talk through me. And if you're guided to my podcast, your higher power brought you here for some reason, for some rhyme, for whatever it is going on in your world. And I want you to understand that this podcast is not designed for entertainment, honestly, and it's certainly not designed to heal anybody. And I'm here to more just share my experience, strength and hope with people. And I'm going to tell you, come back and listen to different episodes over and over, because the more you listen to it, the more you're going to get different nuggets that are going to help you in any given circumstance and tell people about it. You know, the reason we're having such a global success is not because there's anything special about Joe. I'm not. I'm just a guy. And I've been doing this path long enough where I've been guided on how to remember a lot of stuff and anything that I've remembered in me about my divinity, about my inner child, about humanity. And that if it's in Joe, it's in you, too. And together we're uncovering all that stuff that's Why I say I'm not a teacher. I'm not here to teach you anything. I'm here to help you remember everything. And the remembering of the everything is in you already. And where consciousness lives, where humanity lives, for most of consciousness, they live in a perspective that says our solutions are outside of ourselves. Well, folks, that probably used to work in the past, but it doesn't work anymore. Your answers aren't a new career or a new relationship or more money or more exercise. That's not where you're going to feel full. And the filling process happens from the inside out. And that's what I'm going to talk to you about today. I'm going to tell you how I kind of did it and the experiences that happened for me which created that sense of internal communion and share a couple stories, of course, at the end, like I always do, and, you know, I kind of poke fun at myself. The story sharing part is a powerful part of my podcast. And like, a lot of times, you know, I just have to be honest. They're kind of embarrassing to share. They are, because the craziness in which I used to live, I don't. But a lot of people, I always say, if I can heal from where I came from, you can definitely heal from where you are. Because 98% of you listening here don't have a crazy life like I used to. The seven years of darkness that I walk through, most people never have to do that. You just won't. And I'm grateful for you that you don't. And I'm grateful that you're here. So what is this sensation of emptiness and why is it happening more and more? Well, the truth of the matter is why it's happening more and more is because we as a humanity are expanding the we that Joe talks about all the time. Each individual self, each individual person. We are a multidimensional being. We are not an isolated ego. We are multidimensional. And the multidimensionalness of ourselves is human self, us. The me, the you, the person talking, your divine self, the part that's connected to all that is and the inner self, which I call the inner child. A lot of my episodes take people into the depths of their wounds and the suppression of the past and emoting and healing and why you have all the crazy voices and all that. Well, this isn't that episode when your inner child is up. It's more loneliness that you're feeling. You're feeling alone or lonely. Emptiness is really caused for several reasons, but the Primary reason emptiness is caused is because the humanity in yourself and the divinity in yourself aren't in some type of conscious connection. And I'm going to give you some techniques to really embrace that concept on how you reconnect with your divine sense of self. And from that sense of connection, that divine sense of self connection, then you fill up from the inside out, not the outside in. And part of the challenge, of course, that the path has people walking through all the time. And I have to caveat before I go on any further. If you're on a podcast like this, I need you to understand you are on the forefront of a humanity waking up in a way that humanity's never woken up before in the past, ever. You know, I talk about the example of 200 years ago here in the States, owning a human was the conscious norm. And you know, fast forward 200 years later. Our democratic societies aren't perfect, but they're a heck of a lot better than where they were. And in the past, the male dominated mind, body, consciousness was a dominating force. It was all there was the new thought movement and positive affirmations and change of mind, all of that. It was the wisdom of the day. Did it work? Sure. Is it still working? I don't know. You tell me. Why are you here if it's still working? And you're here because you're seeking something new, you're seeking something different. And what the we podcast is all about is to help people understand that each individual human being is made up of two basic sides, a male side and a female side. And in the male side is representative. In your being is where your mind and your body is represented metaphorically, in the male side of yourself. Well, the feminine side of yourself is where your emotions lie and your connection to your divinity. And you know, I tell people all the time, it's not Joe's role to tell you what you're calling your divinity. If you're a Christian, you're probably calling it Jesus. If you're Native American, you're probably calling it Great Spirit. I don't know what you're calling your divinity. That's not my job. My job is to ask you and to question and to encourage. Are you following what your divinity is asking you to do? And I can say that I get to say it because my divinity gets me in front of this mic once a week and shares out into the world. So I'm literally living as the highest me possible in this moment today, April 21st, as I'm recording and I'm Sharing with the world my divinity. Well, that's what I'm guided to do with mine. I don't know what you're guided to do with yours. My question isn't, what is your divinity called? My question is, are you following it? And part of the challenge with following your divinity and, you know, other ways of saying it, you're on a spiritual path. You're spiritually awakening. You're in the empowerment phase. You're going through enlightenment. You put the adjective on the experience, right? They're all the same thing. It's all about becoming aware of a grander you. That's the awareness part of the path. And then living as that new awareness is the awakening part. And the gap between awareness and living, that's the growth part. Let me rephrase that. So you have a spiritual awareness of something new, consciously new, whatever the it might be. You know, 35 years ago, 30 years ago, I had an awareness that I drank every day. You know, I was in my early 30s. I had an awareness that I drank every day, almost every day since I was 15 years old. I'd never gone 90 days. That was a new awareness for me. Well, what did I do about it? So I was on a growth path for seven days, saying, I'm not going to drink. I'm going to change the pattern. Well, thank God, on the 20th day of February, 1994, when I raised my hands and I said, God, if I'm not supposed to drink or drug today, I need your help, I had a literal spiritual awakening. In that moment, rush of energy tear down my eyes and compulsions gone. Doesn't typically work that way for most. And quite honestly, just because my cravings for drugs and alcohol were removed, it didn't mean I knew how to live my new world. That was the growth. That was the spiritual growth path. Well, if you're on a podcast like this, I can pretty much guarantee you're not here for the first time. You're hearing the terms I use interchangeably every day, in every sentence, almost. You've heard it before, spiritual path and spiritual growth and enlightenment and divinity, all of those adjectives. But I just put it into a context, kind of the next level of it all. And quite honestly, one of the larger reasons that so many people are feeling empty today, even if you're on a very powerful spiritual path, is because the you of your yesterday doesn't work anymore. But there hasn't been a new you developed enough to kind of fill in the gaps, to fill in the void. You know, I can Give you an example of something going on in my world, literally. And it happened back in September of 2022, where for the previous 20 years, I had a seven year, you know, 30 years ago at a seven year period of time where my growth is all I did. I lived on less than $3,000 a year. And back then a couple of books came channeled through me. Back then they were called you and Her Child has rights too and 21st century sales from the Soul. Both of those books have been reworked and are getting ready to be launched here soon. So I hope you join. You know, visit my website, wepodcast Global and get on our email list. I want you to be aware when my books come out so I can get you a copy. But then for 20 years, I thought back then I was going to go and be a speaker, a public speaker and share my wisdom and share be a man on the stage connected to his emotion and all that. Well, that wasn't how my path was supposed to be. And for the following 20 years, I had all of my spiritual wisdom and stuff and I empowered my kids, I have two boys, empowered a business, very successful, built a house, had a wife for a decade, you know, all of the things, but it was more a private experience. And then on the 22nd day of September, boom, out of nowhere, I read a story a woman wrote on Facebook. And I could tell she's talking from her divinity because she's talking about a grander tomorrow than her today. And my divinity opened up again. And then I hear this same woman on a podcast and she's sharing from her heart and my heart opened again. So from September 22, 2022 to now, I have been going myself through an awakening process, an awareness process, an expansion process. There are times over these past three years where it wasn't as though I felt lost. I'm pretty practiced at all this. But I expanded in such a way to where I felt empty because the new me hadn't filled in yet. So if you're in transition yourself from an old you, an old job, moving out of a relationship that doesn't work anymore, moving to a new place, let alone the glory things you're launching kids in college, you know, that's all a representation of that. Your old life doesn't work because you've outgrown it. And the emptiness you're feeling, you know, a lot of people say, well, my kids went off to college, so I feel empty. Well, but why? You're not empty because your kids went to college. You're empty. Because all of the energy that you put into your kids that when they still live with you, you don't have to do that anymore. So that whole space where you used to give your overflow to your kids is void, feels empty. Truly does. Now sometimes you go through bigger experiences of true psychic death where literally the old you doesn't work at all. And you go through true transformation. And the psychic death process, it's a painful one. It literally can grieve for days and days and days and literally grieve and feel like you died. You know, not literal human death, but psychic death. And then when you come out the other side, I used to describe it as I used to call my consciousness. I was in a five gallon aquarium right when I was very first brand new and I started to have awarenesses, I considered myself a five gallon aquarium. And then as I would have more awarenesses and my capacities and I was a five gallon aquarium with only a gallon of water. So my capacity to live, my new awarenesses were minimal. Well, with practice and overflow and support and counseling and 12 step and everything I did, I would grow, I would emote, I would grow and I'd become more aware, I'd become more awake and eventually I'd reached that place where I had more water, more awareness than my consciousness would allow. And then I'd go through this period of time where it was like literally I felt like I was dying. And my counselor at the time, Nancy, explained it like a snake outgrowing its skin, where you're literally shedding the skin of your yesterday and growing into something new. Well, as you're growing into that something new, the energetic experience of expansion is the energy part. Well, you also, there's an emotional part which is the grieving and the loss of the old. And as you do that grieving and loss, that's the psychic death. Well, on the other side of psychic death right now. And I would explain it like I would just be so lost because I used to have a parameter. I used to know who I was, I used to know, you know, where I was going. I could feel, feel my abilities and my boundaries. And then poofo. In a two day period of time, the boundary in which I called Joe was no longer there. And in the beginning it was so confusing because I would spin, I would be scared. I didn't know what was going on, I'd be lost. And then I realized, well, I went from a five gallon tank to a 50 gallon tank. Now think about if you're a little guppy You're a little fish, a little goldfish in a five gallon tank, right? And so you got a five gallon tank with five gallons of water, but your consciousness expands into a 50 gallon tank. Wow, that's fantastic. You should feel great. Oh, but the problem is you're in that 50 gallon tank, but you only brought 5 gallons of water with you. So here you got this little goldfish swimming around in the bottom, barely making it. Well, the five gallons of water is your current awareness. The 50 gallons of tank is your potential, is your possibility, is your grandness, is your expansion. The 44, 45 gallons of space that's not filled with water is your emptiness. And from a place of spiritual growth, that emptiness happens because you've expanded. And when we expand, there's that space where our old technique to fill inner void was start a new business, get a new relationship. How about, let's have a third child if I just make more money, it's the city, time to move. And quite honestly, for years, I'm sure for most of you, every time you felt void inside, you were able to do enough external behaviors, enough external actions to fill the void. Were you truly filling it with awareness? No. You were filling it with activity. But was it full regardless? Yes. And if you're feeling empty today and you're trying all that stuff and it doesn't work, now I get it. Why? Because you're not the same. You're not. You are going through, like all of us that are on a path like this, the warriors out there that are on a path, you're going through spiritual expansion, period. I don't care if you understand it or you don't, it's happening for you. How do I know? Because you're listening to my voice. Anybody that can go 24 minutes into a podcast like this and not click off in the first 24 seconds, you're a spiritual warrior. You truly are. And if you made it this far, right, and you're in that experience, you know, I've got some other podcasts I suggest. There's one of my podcasts that says why love requires emotional growth. Love and emotional growth. Wonder what that's about. Listen to that podcast. It's a really good one. It helps. I'm not one of these people that say, go get them, tiger. You can do it. That's a load of crap. It's not because it's not easy. None of this is easy, by the way, but I try to. On every podcast, I do give a step by step, action by action, and tell you the truth. And the truth is it's not easy. The truth is it can be hard. It can be painful. It can be difficult. And that doesn't mean it's not working. In fact, a lot of times, it means it's working. I was literally just talking to a friend earlier today, and his experience was he was saying, you know, Joe, sometimes it's just, I'm flying high and everything is easy, and I'm so this and I'm so that, and it's so easy. But other times, it's so hard. And I said, john, I said, please understand, the measurement of your spiritual communion is not measured by how easy things can be for you. No, Dick Tracy, if it was easy, everybody would do it all the time, effortlessly. It's not your true measure of spiritual fortitude. Spiritual communion, spiritual strength is when you keep moving forward, when you're doing it in faith, when you don't know what's going on, when the pain is greater than the day, when the dark is deeper than the light, when you literally feel like you're hugging a cactus and then you have to take the cactus with you, but you keep going anyways. That's the measurement of your true spiritual growth, your true spiritual fortitude. So if you're on this podcast today and you're having a tough day, I'm sorry, I empathize with you. But please understand, since you keep going even though it's hard, that's the measure of your spiritual growth, the keep going part, not the harder, easy part. That's why I listen to so many people on. I can't even listen to it anymore, that say, oh, God, if you were truly connected to God, it would all be loving, dovey, and I scream. I say, you're full of blank, blank, blank. And you haven't done it yourself, period. Because that's a line, excuse my French. God's not here to rescue you. God's here to give you the strength and courage to rescue yourself. That's called autonomy. God isn't here to make it easier. God's here to give you the strength, the courage. Courage, the fortitude, the ability, when it's so hard you can't breathe, but you move forward anyways. That's what God does for you. And why do I say that with such passion today? Because, folks, I would spin for months saying, what the hell is wrong with me? I'm doing it all right, and I must be missing something because I'm in so much pain or I'm so lost, or I'm so Much hurting. And then one day I realized your higher power. I would say, well, if God loved me, I wouldn't be in so much pain. And that's when I realized one day, you know, if I had a higher power, my higher power would help me. And then I realized, you know, your higher power's greatest gift is free will. Higher power is not here to rescue. Your higher power is here to support. Higher power is here to be here with you, not for you. And when that shift happened for me is when I truly realized is when I truly started reaching out to a power greater than myself. During those most difficult times, I would say my prayer over and over. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. Did I say that enough? No, because I only said it three times. I would say it 150 times a day. I might say it 150 times an hour sometimes that's how dark and difficult my path was. So if you're in a challenging spot, take on the mantra, Understand, your higher power is right there with you right now. Higher power is not there to rescue. Your higher power is to give you the strength to keep moving forward even when it feels like you can't. The strength to keep moving forward even though you don't know what direction you're walking. The strength and the courage to keep moving forward even though every step feels more painful. But you keep taking the steps. Because on the other side of it all, you know, the whole quote, ye who walks through the valley of death, all of that, basically, it's the person that can continue to move forward through the difficult times, turning to a power greater than yourself for that support. The spiritual muscle, the spiritual fortitude, the spiritual courage to keep moving forward. And as you get on the other side of your difficulties, there's a relationship created between you and a power greater than yourself. Now, for the rest of us who aren't in those difficult spots, right? It's when I realized, and I did a TED Talk down in South Africa. I've got a new TED Talk coming up here soon. And I realized that what most people do, most people truly have no problem if their kids in a car wreck saying, dear God, help my child, or if somebody's close to, you know, passing away, an elder person or whatever it is, most people have no problem asking God's help. Our higher powers help when there's trauma, when there's angst, when there's difficulty, when there's fear. But what people don't realize is that you can ask for your divinity's guidance and support anytime, any place, for anything. Not just fear based events, but glory based events. Not just hospital visits, but grocery store visits. You can literally create a conscious communion with your divinity every moment of every second of every day if you so choose. You can, you can do it right now. And that is becoming more and more necessary. Because the way you fill the emptiness inside of yourself isn't by external action steps, it's by internal communion. If you were lonely, I would be saying, get with your little kid. One of the dimensional parts of your inner child has an emotional angst. Empty isn't lonely. Empty is a vacant space that nothing seems to fill. It's uncomfortable as all get out. It is. It's not easy. And the answer to filling it is not with activity, it's with communion. Well, how do you do it? Ask. Ask and ye shall receive. Okay, this is one of those times I'm telling on myself forever. I thought, I'm gonna do it. Just ask and you'll get it. I asked for a pretty girl. Well, I had a couple of those, but none of them like me. I asked for money, I asked for a new car, and I asked for some tools. Ask and you shall receive, they said. It never worked. Then I said, well, that whole God thinks a load of crap I asked. I didn't get it. Well, what I realized was ask and ye shall receive is not ask for something external and poofo, an object shows up. That's not what ask and you shall receive means. Ask and you shall receive is an internal experience of energetic expression. Ask for strength and your higher power will give you the strength to move forward and Ask for love and your higher power will give you the overflow to share with another. Ask for patience and your higher power will calm you so that you can address why you're scared. Ask and ye shall receive is not the asking of an external object. And receiving an external human object. Ask and ye shall receive is ask your internal, higher sense of self to guide you and you'll be guided. And why it's becoming more and more prevalent now is because humanity, as a consciousness, vibrationally, as a consciousness, is waking up more and more every day. So your access to the feminine side of yourself, not just for you, but everybody around you, the consciousness is shifting, similar to consciousness being completely dead. Owning a human 200 years ago, what's the difference? Conscious shifting, awakening, transformation over the past 200 years, well, now it's happening at a faster and faster Rate, an exponential rate on the feminine side of yourself. In the past, the awakening was more on the mental and physical side of self. Our mental capacities grew, our physical endurance grew. The four minute mile. Remember that? For decades it was impossible. One guy breaks it. Roger Maris, maybe don't quote me. Seems like that's the name. And then like 56 people broke the four minute mile. The next year our physical capacities got better, bigger, stronger. Now I think the miles been running three and a half minutes or something. I don't know, something like that. That. Why? Because our physical capacities have been continually getting grander. Our mental IQ higher, well over this generation. Now it's the feminine side. Your emotional self, your gut instincts, your capacity to love, your capacity to emote, your capacity to feel mad, glad, sad and scared. And your intuition, your ability to be guided by something grander than you, your divinity is on the feminine side of yourself. So I say that because you have more and more access to your divine sense of self than you're aware of. And how do you gain the access? Well, you gain the access by asking. Literally you gain the access, the access by asking, ye shall receive. Ask and ye shall receive. Your divinity is sitting right there ready to give to you. Well, how do we do it? What action steps do we do? I've got a whole podcast on this called Gratitude to Grace. I would suggest you listen to that because there's a process of finding your inspirations. It starts with dream big dreams. Dreams move into your imagination. Your imagination can be limitless, things that you have a visual on. But over time there's going to be two or three things that, that just stick with you. They're that two or three things that when you think about it, you get excited. When you talk about it, you get excited. You wake up in the morning, even on your darkest days, when you wake up thinking about it, you feel a little bit better. Those inspirations, when people truly understand. How do you define the difference between an imagination and an inspiration? Is the inspiration just sticks with you. Literally. For me, I was inspired 25, 30 years ago. I wrote two books and it stuck with me all these years. Now it wasn't time to implement until September 22nd. And I mirror this woman's divinity and heart and my whole spiritual awakening to share my spiritual flow with publicly unfolded. In a moment, a book called Unequally Yoke came pouring through me, which through that book process is where I came up with the concept of the we, higher self, human self, inner self. Well, that whole idea. And when you understand that Your inspirations are not of the human you like your imagination. Your imagination is of the human you in the we. Your inspirations are from the divinity you. And I can't tell you what your divinity is, what your inspirations are. I don't know what yours are. Mine were to write books and to share it with the world to get a higher vibrational message out to the globe to heal humanity. I'm now supporting two caregivers in Uganda. Those are Joe's inspirations. Well, you know, when I do public speaking, and the reason most people don't move their inspirations out into the world is because they're glass empty voices. Their humanity voices say, well, you're too old or you're too this or you're too fat or you're too white or you're too black. You're to this or that. The you can't do it voices are of your humanity, not your divinity. And this is the key right here. This next sentence is the key. This is where. When you know what your inspiration is and before I tell you the answer, please know inspiration. It's not your inspiration's responsibility to pay your bill. Bills. So many people get so lost because they have such a passion for their inspiration that I think they're going to put it out in the world and make a million dollars. Maybe most, no, some, yes. And moving your inspiration into an income creation. That's a completely different topic than what I'm talking about. I'm talking about simply living your inspiration. And this is the key. The same part of you that gave you the inspiration in the first place, which I call divinity, you might call Jesus, you might call a higher power, you might call Great Spirit. Whatever you call the part of you that gave you the inspiration, that part of you will also give you the strength and courage to act on the inspiration. But here's the trick. Here's the caveat. You have to ask. You have to ask for strength and courage to take action. Why the act of asking when you're in the place of asking for strength, asking for help? You're in the spiritual experience of humility. Humility and fear cannot coincide in the same space. They can't. Humility and fear doesn't mean you're not going to be afraid. But when you humbly ask for strength and courage, you will receive the strength and courage needed to take the action steps needed to move your inspirations from inside yourself into the creation phase. And the more you live in the creation phase, the more you're living from your divinity. The more you're in creation phase and the more you put that overflow into yourself, into that creation, the fuller you're going to feel. So how do we fill emptiness? We move from living from our humanity to living to our divinity. How do we start? We have to ask, who's the we doing the asking? Who's the part doing the asking? Your humanity, The Joe, the me. Literally. Folks, before I get and get in front of this mic, I sit at my desk where I'm at right now and I say, dear God, give me the words that you want the globe to hear. I don't say to God, hey God, I got this handled. I'm gonna handle it. I'll talk to you later. I'll pray later. No, every time. I do it all day, every day. Hey, great spirit, where's my keys? Where are my keys? Yeah, I'm going to the grocery store. Spirit, what should I buy? Should I buy the frosted Flakes? Now here's how I know if spirit is guiding me. If spirit is guiding me, we don't go down the cereal aisle at 63. I don't need frosted flesh. When my ego or little kid is guiding me right to the frosted Flakes. When my higher power is guiding me. No Frosted Flakes, literally. I ask constantly and so can you. Why? Same divinity in me is in you. People don't do it. People have no problem asking for help when they're in fear. Well, you've got four emotions, folks. Mad, glad, sad and scared. Well, you can ask for your divinity's guidance in your joy just as easy as you can ask for support when you're in the fear. And it's when you are moving from imagination to inspiration. Inspiration is that thing that you have internal in you, a passion in you that you want to do. It's in you. How do you get it from in you out into the world? In you is great cause and effect. Happens when it comes out in the world. That's the creation phase for me. I would write stuff down on a piece of paper. I have, you know, legal sized pieces of paper. So whatever your creative ideas are, write them down on piece of paper first. And the more you write, the more you're going to see it. The more you see it, the more you're going to write. And then you're going to hear the voices. Write those fear based voices down on another piece of paper. I can't do it. Now think about this. I was two years, three years sober when my first book started coming through Me, literally, I could barely stand up. I was making less than $3,000 a year. A year. Living on 250amonth. And I'm writing a book. You can imagine the voices that came through me. No one cares about your book, Joe. No one's going to listen to your book, Joe. Your book sucks, Joe. No one cares about you. No one cares about the book. My voices plagued me. Now, did I have anyone tell me, write the voices down 30 years ago? No, I learned that later. You're going to have the same voices, folks. Listen to me as clearly as I can make it. I don't care what your voices are. Write them down. Why? All of them? Why? Well, if I just act like they're not there, Joe, New Thought Movement says I can just change my mind. That's a load of crap. If you could just change your mind, you'd have already done it and you would not be on my podcast. Load of crap. Why do I say it? I've never heard anywhere else say that you. Except here. If you can change your mind, great. Go do it. In the meantime, for the rest of us, write them down. Why? Why can't you change your mind? Well, I've got a podcast on that. When you really realize that your mind can't heal your heart, listen to that podcast. Why? Because it goes through the entire process. The voices that are unloving voices. The source of the voice is not in your mind. It's in your heart. So you can try to change the voice in your mind all you want, but the wound is in your heart. We're not talking about that here. That's a different topic for a different day. Listen to that podcast. Your mind can't heal your heart. What I'm talking about here, right now, how do you fill your emptiness? One of the ways to fill your emptiness is to start living your inspiration. How you get it out of yourself and into creation. How? Start writing it down. The inspiration itself, the bullet points of the inspiration. And on one pad of paper, write down your ideas as soon as it goes to paper. It's in the creation phase, literally out of inspiration that's solely in you. Into the creation phase, that's outside of you. And the voice that's going to keep you, to try to keep it in you, is that ego hurt? Glass, empty voices. Write them down. Why do we write them down? Because every glass empty voice you write down, you might have one, you might have a thousand. It doesn't matter. Write them down. Write them down. Write them down. Bullet point, bullet point. I can't. I can't. I'm not good enough. I'm not this. I'm too. All the shame, all the guilt, all the. Write it down. Why? Because every time you write it down, it cuts the power of it in half. It does. Now, in a different podcast in the future, we're going to go through the process of moving from creation to manifestation, but to fill the empty space that's in you, the emptiness. You do it by living your divinity. How do you live your divinity? You live your divinity by allowing your divinity to be your guide. How does your divinity guide you? Your divinity guides you through your inspirations. Now, you might be inspired to build a new house. You might be inspired to move to San Francisco from Georgia. You might be inspired to write a book. You might be inspired to adopt a child. I don't know what your inspiration is, but the way it starts to get out of you as you write it down, the more you write it down, the bigger it gets. The more it becomes real, the more it becomes energetically you. The more you see it, the more you see it, the more you feel it. The more you feel it, the more you see it, and the more you feel your inspirations, the emptiness starts to fill from the inside out, not the outside in. You're filling it from the inside out. Now, this exercise I'm talking about, you haven't even told anybody your inspiration yet. That's you with you. This is a sacred path. And the living of that inspiration is the next phase in manifestation where we move from gratitude to grace, which, again, I'll talk about. And I've got a great podcast on that. Listen to it. But the whole process of filling the void, how do we fill? How do we go from empty to full? We go from empty to full by first realizing that to fill empty is not to create a new external. To fill empty is to create a grander relationship with a power grander than yourself. Why are you feeling more empty today than you've ever felt before? Because you're expanding. Why are you expanding? Because quite honestly, folks, you're doing it all spiritually, right? You're doing it all spiritually perfect. Now the challenge is you can do it perfect and still feels like crap. You can do it perfect and it feel. Still feels painful or scary or angst filled or dark. Yes. That means you're doing it right now. If it feels dark and scary and painful, that means it's time for your humanity to create a relationship with your divinity so your divinity can support you. Just like you had asked God to help your child if they were in the hospital. You can ask your divinity to help you walk through dark times. And all of this, folks, is sacred silence. You with you, you with the grander sense of you, you becoming consciously connected to the we, higher you, human you, inner you, inner child, emotion, divinity, enlightenment. And as that all comes together, the we becomes a oneness of communion. How do we go from empty to full? The answer is in the relationship that you create with a power greater than yourself. I can tell you folks, I've done this for years and the fullness I feel today is amazing. It's truly amazing. A global podcast is being created. I could go on and on and on. The abundance I have in my world, it's amazing. Because Joe's that special? No, because I was just too fricking hard headed to quit years ago. I couldn't call me strength and wonderful. That was a load. I was just too hard headed to stop. It was years, years before I was walked through my literal first step. It was years later that I realized the seventh step in every 12 step program is humbly ask for strength and courage. Humbly ask for courage. Why? Because when you ask for courage, asking for courage to live the new you, to live the higher you. Because as you live a higher you, you're living the new you, which is outgrowing the old you. One of the reasons we go through psychic death is because the old you doesn't work anymore. Okay, great job. Been going through a lot of psychic death. How do I implement the new me? Find your inspirations and allow that voice to guide you. Find your glass full voices and allow those voices to guide you. How do you determine? How do you hear the glass full voices? Clearly write down all the glass empty voices and tell somebody else. Now, of course, if you're guided to find out why you have all those glass empty voices, buckle up. That's an inner child. Go into the deep emotion. 99% of you are not going to ever need to go into the deep emotion to heal, period, to move forward. You're just not. Because if you were, you'd be already probably doing that like I did years ago. How do you hear the glass full voices? You have to get the glass empty voices out of the way first. Write them down as it happens. And as you start hearing glass full voices. What's a glass full voice sound like? All possibility, the maybes, the I think I can, the encouraging voice. And it takes you one step at a time. And the more we do that, the More we follow that and the more we start following our inspirations. The difference between imagination and inspiration, inspirations are those two or three cool ideas that stick with you through the highs, through the lows, through the dark, through the light. They stick with you and it's just in you all the time. And the same divinity that gave you the inspiration will also give you the strength and courage to act on the inspiration. The acting on the inspiration moves inspiration from in you to out on paper. That's the creation phase, out on paper. And the more you do it, the more it gets on paper. And the more you read it, the more you see it, the more that you'll fill. The more you fill, the better you'll fill up. The more you fill up, the more connection you're going to have with your divinity. The more divinity you have, the more you're going to be able to share. And the more that cycle then fills the empty space with a spiritual energy. So that which used to be empty, the 50 gallon tank that started with 5 gallons, the 45 gallons of water fills up, but it fills up with spiritual awareness, spiritual awakening, spiritual flow. And as more and more of us wake up to that spiritual flow and more and more of us are living from that divinity, sense of self. Because divinity seeks grace as the experiential day to day moment. And grace happens as the act of giving back. Gratitude happens as the act of doing wonderful things and receiving. We're grateful for the receiving. Your divinity creates grace in its giving. And as more and more of us wake up to this cycle of giving back and the cycle of living in grace, that's how we heal humanity together. And that's why the we podcast was created. So thanks for being here, everybody. If you're feeling empty today, know that you're okay. Know that it's probably happening because you're expanding. Know that that's the red flag that says, you know what time to create a grander, conscious communion with a power greater than yourself. As you do it, write down the voices. All the time, every day, write down your glass empty voices, your fear based voices. Get them out of your head, write them down, tell them to somebody else so they're just out of the way so you can hear the glass full voices more grandly. And as you do that rhythm and you hear the glassful voices, the glassful voices are going to take you on a path different than your yesterday. And that's why your glassful voices create a grander tomorrow than your yesterday. That's the key. And that's what you're wanting. And from that place, the more you live from full, the fuller you get. The fuller you get, the more you live from full as you live from full, the natural consequences. Living from divinity Divinity seeks grace. Grace happens by giving back. As there's more and more of us giving back into the world. That's how we as humanity heal the world. And together it's happening. Together, we're filling up. Together, we're moving from gratitude to grace. And together we're healing humanity one smile at a time. Thank you for being here, everybody.
