Hello and welcome to W.E. my name is Joe Mitiga, and I'm the host of the WE podcast. I want to welcome everybody here tonight. I've got a quick question for you. Have you ever felt stuck in life? I mean, literally, have you ever just felt like life has stopped moving? Like no matter what you do, you can't move forward? No matter what you do, you can't figure stuff out. Have you ever just felt stuck? Well, tonight, that's our topic, and I want to welcome everybody here. You know, I always like to start off by sharing, you know, a little bit about myself. And I want people to know that the truth is, I'm just a guy. I'm a guy like you. I'm not a therapist. I'm not a researcher. I'm certainly not a doctor. I'm none of those things. I'm a guy. I'm a guy just like you, on the same path as you. And the reason the WE podcast is becoming so popular is because, quite honestly, I simply just share from my experience, strength and hope. I'm not going to tell you what to do. I'm going to share with you what I did. And, you know, like, my last episode, that's called why you feel anxious all the time. I have to tell you, it was kind of embarrassing for me to share my stories at the end of that one. Well, I wish I could say today that the stories at the end are less embarrassing, but they are not. It is just my life was not good. It was crazy, quite honestly. And my role here, quite honestly, is not to do things that are comfortable for Joe, but to share my hope that if I can heal, so can you. So if you have ever felt stuck before or you feel stuck right now, the first thing I need you to know is that there is nothing wrong with you. Stuck is all part of the process of the spiritual awakening that's happening around the world and around the globe. Quite honestly, we are growing into a new us, and each one of us have a path that we're on. And sometimes that path rides smoothly, sometimes it rides dark, sometimes it rides great. And sometimes it just feels like it's not going anywhere. Well, today's episode is just that, why you feel stuck and the type of personal growth that it truly requires to move beyond stuck. So I'm glad you're here. Welcome to the WE Podcast. If you're new, welcome. If you're here and have been one of the thousands of people that have supported the We Podcast for the past 150 some odd days, thank you. It's because of all of you we're creating an amazing momentum. And why is momentum important is because the truth is, the more people that can hear podcasts like the we podcast, the more people are waking up. And my goal, my hope, my desire quite honestly, is to simply mirror back to the 67% of society that's identifying themselves as spiritual versus religious and that are on some type of spiritual path. So welcome. And I have to tell you straight up, if you can make it through one of my podcasts, you are absolutely a spiritual warrior. If you made it through my last podcast, and if you haven't listened to my last podcast, it's a good one. Why you feel anxious all the time. That one, I have to tell you, if you haven't listened to it, and if you have, I'm going to suggest that you listen to it several times because there's some nuggets in there that took me years and years and years to learn. But I've having people that kind of connect to things pretty quickly and can shift their life from angst filled to decent to glory in pretty short amounts of time because the world's different, people are waking up faster. The support out there is grander. The intensity of awakening is at a rate that's never happened in mankind ever before. And you and I and people like us, we're on the front side of that awakening. That's why I call each of us a spiritual warrior. You're here because something in you, grander than you, brought you here. I'm glad you're here. I hope you keep bringing people back. I hope you subscribe, of course. I hope you visit wepodcast Global and sign up for our email list. We're going to be doing live events where I want everybody on. I want to meet you, I want people to meet me. I want to get face to face with people over time. But tonight's topic of why are we stuck? I think it's important. And the challenge is not the stuck part. The challenge is what's the solution? I hear so many things out there and I love the people out there that have massive audiences and are doing great things and give wonderful advice. But the challenge is so very often the advice is, go get them, tiger. Get off your fat ass and go do something. And I'm like, yeah, no kidding, Dick Tracy. If somebody could just get off their backside and move forward. Don't you think you'd have already done that? And, you know, I was literally just listening to a podcast the other day briefly. I. I learned the concept of the real. You know, I've said that in other podcasts that I'm probably the only person on the planet that didn't know what a real was. My kids make fun of me. I unmercifully. But I know what reals are now. And you know, I listened to a reel and a particular woman said, you know what? It's time to move your career forward or your life forward. And I went through a period of time not long ago where I had to transcend my career. And I, you know, was confused. And then I just went out and did it. So you need to go do it. I'm thinking to myself now, the problem is these people don't tell the rest of the story. This particular person, she left a multi 789 figure income career. She left a career that had a global audience already. She already had a big support system behind her money more than month. You go on and on. So, yeah, I get it, she had to change her career. But was she ever really stuck? Maybe, But I'm not talking about that kind of stock. I'm talking about the rest of us. I'm talking about the rest of us who look at our life and say, what the hell happened? I'm talking about the rest of us that have been working our entire lives and we've got two months of income in the bank. I'm talking about the rest of us that have been in jobs for 20 years because we're afraid to move on. I'm talking about the rest of us who are confused because we literally believe it should be better. It could be better, it needs to be better. But no matter what we fricking do, we can't make it better. I'm talking to us because that was me. When I started this path, I had nothing. Literally zero. Not a little bit zero. I was as close to homeless as you can be. And I say close to homeless. I lived on a 3 inch mattress, a 3 inch piece of foam in an unfinished basement by the grace of God, because a buddy of mine rented the finish side and let me sneak in. So are most of you starting there? No. But I can guarantee you 99.9999% of you on this podcast today aren't starting at the place where you got more money than month. You're in your mid-50s, you're starting a new career, and you've got the globe behind you. You're not there either. So for all of us in the middle, I want to talk about stuck. And what is stuck? What is the sensation of stuck? And the sensation of stuck, quite honestly, is when we're sitting in a place, when we're standing around, when we're in this energy pattern that no matter what we do, we can't seem to move forward. We seem to be chasing our tail, we seem to be looking at the world, and no matter what we do, we can't change what we're looking at. And the challenge is most people literally believe that the solution to unstuck is change the job I hate, get rid of the wife that nags, make more money. Well, you know, it's just where I live. If I could just move from Atlanta to San Francisco, then everything would be fine. Well, folks, the very first thing we're going to learn today, and I need you to remember, I'm not here to teach you anything. I'm asking you to remember. Remember what's already in you, because that's where your answers are, and that's where your answers to stuck are. The reason people can't get unstuck is because they're looking consciously in the wrong place to fix stuck. Stuck is not sourced by your outside world. It's mirrored in your outside world. Stuck is an internal experience that we have to address, identify, and then figure out what action steps we take so that stuck doesn't dominate us. And that's what we're going to talk about the rest of the title of this particular episode. What personal growth is required to finally move forward? Well, the first personal growth answer I'm giving you right here is the answer to stuck is not outside. The answer to stuck is inside. And as you remember, all answers to anything comfortable are glorious, challenging, are effortless, great and wonderful are dark and dismal. It's all in you. That's where you find your answers. And that's so in turn, if your answers are in there, that means your solutions are in there. So the whole concept of stuck being fixed by our outside world, that's why you feel like you're chasing your tail. You look around and you just say, if I could change A or if I could change B or if I could change her, I could change him. If I could change locations, if I could change my job, I could change my bank account, if I could change my health, if I could change my behaviors, then I would feel unstuck. Answer no, you wouldn't. You'd just be stuck in San Francisco instead of Atlanta. You just feel stuck in another job versus the job you've had. You just feel stuck with a partner that is going to be mirrored the exact same way. So the answers are inside. And unlike most that say, go get them, tiger, you can do it. Just go do do it. Stop being a lazy blank, blank, blank and get off your backside and go do it. I hear that a lot and my blood boils. First off, the hair on the back of my neck raises. Secondly, and I cringe. I literally cringe. Why do I cringe? Because you know what? If it was that freaking easy, everybody would. Nobody would be stuck. Nobody would live in the place of chasing their tail. Nobody would feel hopeless, nobody would feel powerless, nobody would feel dark, nobody would feel dismal. If it was as easy as just get off the coach and go do it, I had to start a new career. 50. You know, I try to be nice, but sometimes it just really angers me. Why? Because this particular host has, I don't know, a bunch of. Bunch of people watch. And a bunch of people are watching this person mega successful and they say, well, she said all I have to do is get off the couch and go do it, Johnny. She said all you have to do is get off the couch and go do it. Go do it, Johnny. When John can't do it, what the hell you think John's feeling? John's feeling shame. John's feeling guilt. John's feeling remorse. Susie, who's trying to change Johnny. Hey, sue, look in the mirror. Why? Because the answers are inside of you. And if it was as easy as just going to do it, like 98% of the quote unquote self help gurus out there, everybody would. So I'm glad you're here because I've got some different answers to that. And I'm going to continue to reference my last podcast, why you feel anxious all the time. Because it's kind of a lead into this one. So listen to it. The other thing I'm going to suggest, you know, my podcasts are not normal. They're not your normal. Hey, let's wake up on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon and listen to an airy fairy podcast by this guy named Joe and get off and learn it all and feel it all and feel great. I'm sorry, folks, that's not my intention here. I'm not trying to help you feel good. I'm not trying to help you feel great. I'm going to help you heal. And if you can heal, then you don't have to try to feel good. The consequence of living as a healed human is a wonderful experience. And I am blessed to say I live as a healed human. So I'm putting my divinity out there on the globe to help people heal. And no, it's not easy. No, it's not. And no, it's not as easy as getting your ass off the couch. Because if it was, everybody would. It's not that easy. And I'm also not the person that says, go get them, tiger. I'm going to tell you what I did. Why? Because 30 some odd years ago, I was on a couch. I was on the floor in an unfinished basement. I lived on less than $3,000 a year. Listen to my podcast, Modern Day Monk. 3,000 a year. I tell my whole story in that podcast. I'm going to do another one here soon. My whole story. And why? Because I'm special. No, the only thing I was special at was being a hardcore addict with a massive codependent freakazoid codependence. That was. My esteem was so low that I had this massive personality. I had to prove all the time every component of mental health. If 1 was the worst you could be and 10 was the greatest, I was a negative 36 in all categories. And am I saying that to blame and shame and guilt myself? No, folks, I'm not. I'm saying it because if I can go from there to where I am today, anybody can. Literally anybody can. And that's why I say all the time, I'm not a teacher, I'm not a researcher, I'm not a that. I hear it all the time off of the research. 4700 people. This, that and the other thing we found. Well, what the hell does that have to do with anything? Unless you were one of the 4700, it don't make a damn to you. Why? Because that information has nothing to do with you. You are on your own path. Another podcast I have, there's only one spiritual path and it's yours. If you haven't watched it, watch that one a couple times. And why am I telling you to re listen to my podcast? Because they're more timeless, quite honestly. You know, you're going to hear things in them and it's going to be confusing. So go back, listen to them several times if you need to. Use it more as a reference, an educational reference tool than an enjoyment tool. Now, I hope on the other side you feel some glory and you say, damn that guy helped me. But in the meantime, you're probably going to cuss me and. And that's okay. It's really okay. Why? Because I don't sugarcoat. It's not easy. And if you're going into the depths, buckle up, because that's not easy. The depths of your emotional pain. Part of the we, the inner part of the we. No, it's not easy. Make sure you have help. Make sure you have support. I've got a life coach. Get one if you don't have one, if you're in a good spot and you're just trying to move your life forward. Dr. Karen Louise is my life coach. I don't really need somebody to support me in the moving forward process, but I love sharing my glory with somebody. I get somebody I can share with freely and she holds this amazing space. When I start having guests, Dr. Louise is going to be somebody I have on here because she's fabulous. I want everybody to meet her. I told her, you know what, when we get our podcast to 100,000 downloads a month, she's going to be one of the first guests. So all of you are helping the We Podcast reach that original goal of 100,000 downloads a month. Then we're going to go to a million. Then we're going to go to 10 million. Then the ultimate goal is a hundred million downloads a month. Why? Because the more people we can help remember the truth, that they're created in God's image and they're a we, human self, divine self, inner self, the more we heal the world. And I'm going to get into all that later on in this podcast. I'm going to give the actual action steps of how you live as the essence of God later in this podcast. So hang around and keep listening. So back to stock. Okay, Joe, so the answers aren't outside of me. They're inside of me. What the heck does that mean? That means that your answers are inside. You're so in turn. Your solutions are inside. So how do we get to the answers is what people need to be asking if you're not. The answers aren't in your voices. The answers are in the reason you have the voices and the reason you're stuck. Fact, the reason you're stuck and you can't move forward is because the guidance system of voices you're listening to consciously or unconsciously are fear based, hurt based, harm based, not letting you move forward based voices. When Johnny's sitting his backside on the couch and motivational people say, johnny, just get your ass off the couch and go do it. And Johnny can't. The reason Johnny can't is not because Johnny doesn't have the desire. There's nothing wrong with Johnny. Johnny has the desire. But Johnny's buried in his own voices that say I can't move, I don't know what to do, blah blah blah. All of the I can't voices, the glass empty voices. So how do we start? What do we do? Well, the very first thing you do is you start get out that piece of paper I always talk about and you need to start writing your voices down. Which voices are that, Joe? The critical voices. The voices that say any voice you hear that when you think about my life is stuck and my solution is outside of me. I want you to write that voice down. I want you to write the statement down. I'm stuck because my job sucks. I'm stuck because I hate where I live. I'm stuck because my wife nags at me. I'm stuck because I don't have enough money. I'm stuck because I don't like my job. I'm stuck because I can't stop drinking. I'm stuck because write it down on a piece of paper. Bullet point, bullet point, bullet point. In my new book that's coming out here in several months, the book called Me to Wear, I talk about this. It's the voices in our head that are the red flag that paralyze us. In the I can't move position, Johnny's on the couch. Even though everybody in the planet's telling him to get up and move, he can't because the only voices he hears says I can't get off the couch. And I'm using Johnny kind of as a scapegoat concept. But there's a tremendous number. Most people, if you're not moving forward in life, you're not moving forward because a, you think the solution of forward is outside you. It's not. And you think the answer to moving forward is change My outside. No, the answer to moving forward is change which guidance system inside you that you follow. The personal growth position of following a glass empty voice versus the glass full voice. Personal awareness is about becoming aware of your glass empty voices. The fear based voices, the voices that say I'm stuck is the start. That's not the fear. So once you have that voice, those voices written down, and there might be five, there might be 500, I don't care how many there are, then you have to ask yourself the question. Then you ask yourself, let's say it's about a job. I'm stuck in life because of my job. Okay, great. I hear you. Fantastic. Now, why don't you change your job and then I want you to listen to the voices. I can't change my job. I won't make enough money if I change my job. I'm afraid to change my job. I've been at my job too long. People will be disappointed in me if I change my job. Foreign. Let's use the idea of I want to move. I live in Atlanta. I want to move to San Francisco. Well, why don't I move to San Francisco? Well, it's too far. It costs too much money. It's the wrong climate. It rains all the time. People will miss me. I'll miss people. So the technique, the personal growth technique that I'm trying to help you understand is the reason you're stuck. A your answer. Most people think the solution to stuck is outside. It's not. It's inside. Okay, now we're inside. Breathe, meditate. Get a piece of paper and I want you to write down every voice that you hear. I'm stuck because something outside. I'm stuck because something outside. I'm stuck because something outside. Great. That's the first list. The second list I want you to write down is let's say your job is where you feel stuck. I can't change my job because. And what you're going to hear in the because is fear after fear after fear after fear. And what is fear in Joe's definition? Any absolute statement of glass empty proportion. I can't change my job because I won't make enough money. I can't change my job because I've been here too long. I can't change my job because no one else will hire me. I can't change my job because I'm too old. I can't change my job because I'm too young. So you use the I can't change my job as the I'm the stuck voice. And then you start listening for the voices of why you can't change your job. The why voices of okay, and the why voices are the real source of why you're stuck. So the true source of stuck is not in your head, it's in your heart. Because the why voices are based in fear not glory, fear not overflow. What would look differently? Here's a difference. If somebody would say, you know, I feel I've outgrown my job, I'm going to look for a new job, I'd say Great. What do you plan to do? I'm not sure yet. I'm going to look around, I'm going to keep my options open, I'm going to start discovering possibilities and I'm going to let God kind of guide me into my new job. Now, can you hear the difference from getting a new job from a glass full position? All possibility, all, all potential in God's time, over time, a flowful glass full approach to changing a stuck or something. You've outgrown concept. Most people don't live there. Most people have never been taught to go into the discovery position of their fear based voice. And why is that? Because most people, and I see it again all the time online, I see people doing it and it drives me nuts. It drives me nuts because they'll say, well, you hear the voice, the negative voice, they say, just change the thought. Yeah, no kidding, Dick Tracy again, if we could just change the thought, everybody would just change the thought and then everybody'd be fine. Well, if you're here on this podcast and you're 25 minutes into my podcast, you've already realized that the changing of the thought concept doesn't freaking work. It might sound good in the press clippings, right? But it doesn't work. Why? Because the source of the glass empty voice, the source of the quote unquote negative voice is not in your head. So trying to change the negative thought doesn't work. Why? Because the source, the reason you have the glass empty voice, it's not from your head, it's in your heart. And what is the source? What's the emotion? And in your heart, mad, glad, sad or scared? It's scared. Fear. I can't change my job because I'm afraid of the money. I'm afraid of the change. I'm afraid people will be disappointed. I'm afraid, frayed, afraid I can't move because of I'm afraid to move. I'm afraid I can't do it. And the fear is the true reason you can't get off the couch. The emotional source of the voice is in your heart, in your belly, not the voice itself. That's why the positive affirmation concept, it doesn't heal anything, Nada things. If you haven't listened to my podcast, I can't let go of my pain or whatever. That one is what forgiveness really means. Look that one up, listen to that one. It's one of my favorites. In that particular one, it's when I first learned about reels, literally the first reel I ever watched. I see somebody I just have all the respect to and a new thought leader was shaming the crap out of this person. Well, you just want to hang on to that forgiveness. You just want to hang on and not forgive. And the host is like looking at her bewildered as crap. Folks, forgiveness is not an action step. Anyone that tells you is hasn't done it and hasn't grown. Those are absolute statements. Listen to that podcast because it walks you right through the process of how you heal. Forgiveness is the consequence of healing the hurt that caused the pain in the first place. Not an action step. It's the consequence. Forgiveness happens as a consequence of action steps. Well, it's the same thing when you're stuck. We feel stuck. Typically, the reason people feel lost when they're stuck are they feel hopeless when they're stuck or they feel powerless when they're stuck or just plain pissed off when you're stuck. It's because you're looking for the answer to stuck in the wrong place. You're looking outside for the solution for an inside situation. The feeling of stuck is in you. The answer is not outside. Now that you're in yourself. How do we get to the source of stuck? The head is saying, I'm stuck because of something outside. My job, my wife, my family, my emotions, my fears, my drinking, my this. Use it, write it down. And then once you write that down why you believe you're stuck, then ask yourself the reason. Why can't you change? Why can't I change something? Then you're going to hear the voices. I'm afraid of this. I can't because of that. I'm fearful of this. I'm fearful of that. When you get into the fear based voices, when you're literally hearing the fear based voice, which is the second set of writing, that's where you're getting closer to the source. That's where you're truly healing and becoming aware of the reason you're stuck. And it's fear, nothing else. Now the last part of that experience is the way you literally cut the power of those voices in half. You have to share them with somebody else. And that's the part everybody hates. Getting ready to do workshops and you know, have people do these types of things one on one, one on group. And the most challenging part is you have to share that stuff with somebody else. And why? Well, because as soon as you start sharing, you're literally living as a multi dimensional you in the moment you're sharing, there's a part that's sharing all of the fear based voices and the part it's sharing about, which is the source of the voice. There's two of you talking to a third person, to a third party. And that's why if it's deep and it's painful and it's hurtful and it's angst filled, you need to do it with a therapist. You do. You need to have help. You do. Why? Because the source of all that fear is a wound underneath it. Period. The source, the reason you have so much fear is a wound underneath. And I have people say, I don't have any fear. Oh, great, then you're not stuck, right? Well, no, I'm stuck, but I don't have any fear. Well, you're stuck and you feel like you don't have any fear because you're in your head, hence stuck in your head. Well, how do we get unstuck from our head? Write the voices down in your head. Write the fear. That is the reason why you can't take action. You write the fear, not do any action, just write it out and then tell somebody else. And that's where, quite honestly, when you where the divinity part of the we, remember we live as a we, human self, divine self, inner self. It's in the sharing right there. The way you bridge and get the courage you need to share your darker stuff. That's where you have to call on a power greater than yourself. You need to pray for strength and courage. My mantra, my entire dark years, my entire original decade of discovery. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. Dear God, give me the strength and courage. And then I moved to Dear God, give me the strength and courage to feel what I need to heal. Feel what I need to heal. And why do I say that? For most of you, do you have to actually feel the depths of your pain to get unstuck? No, you don't. How do you get unstuck? You learn how to be guided by glass full voices instead of glass empty voices. How do we do that? Well, the way you do that is through the process I just mentioned. And if you need it repeated, start the podcast over, listen to what I'm saying several times. If you have to, it's okay. This is an educational podcast. It will help you. So the way you move from fear based voices to glass full voices, you have to identify the glass, the fear based glass empty voices first. And as you share those voices with somebody else in the sharing, there's a humility that happens. You walk through the Fear when you're buried in your own voices. That's Johnny who's stuck on the couch. That's Mrs. Jones who's stuck in her 30 year career, she can't leave. That's Susan who's stuck in a marriage that's abusive. That's Fred who's stuck on drugs. That's John who's stuck in the restaurant, can't stop eating. The reason you're stuck is because the voices aren't the source. The voices are the mirror that, that will bring you to the source. And the source is a fear underneath the voices. Deeper, deeper, deeper. That's why this is a personal growth. You're getting to know yourself deeper and deeper and deeper. That's what personal growth is, growing deeper so you can live grander. Growing deeper so you can live grander. And I'm going to share the grander part of how to live, which ends up moving into the spiritual side of things here in a minute. But basically, as we share the deeper voices, the fear based voices, and share them all, I'm stuck with my job, I'm stuck, blah, blah, blah, and share it all with somebody else. When you share it, the power of the voice cuts in half. You do multiple first steps every time you share a first step with somebody else, the power, the control, the domination of your own fear based voices get cut in half. And for most of you, moving forward and changing your world from the inside out, it is as simple as on a Monday, write down the I'm stuck voices. On a Tuesday, write down the fear of why you can't take the action based on the unstuck. And on a Thursday, share it with somebody else. Literally by Friday, Saturday, Sunday, you might have an idea that just magically pops up that you can take action on that you couldn't take action on for the past 10 years. Why? Because the dominating control that causes stuck is surrendered. Surrendered how? Well, it's surrendered because humility and fear can't be in the same space at the same time. Hear me? Humility and fear can't be in the same space at the same time. What's fear? Isolated domination and keeping your voices a secret. I'll never forget the first time I heard. You're only as sick as your secrets. I didn't know what the hell I was talking about back then. I thought I'm not afraid of anything. Truth is I was afraid of everything and I didn't have any secrets. But the truth is it isn't that I had secrets, it's just I had so much I wasn't aware of. I didn't even know that. I didn't even know that. I didn't even know. And that's why podcasts like this are so powerful, because I'm going to bring you into an awareness process that brings you deeper and deeper and deeper into yourself, so that you can become aware of deeper parts of you. And how we heal the deeper parts is we bring light to the different parts. That's what enlightenment is, bringing light, bringing awareness to deeper aspects of you. Well, the fear based voices, which is the emotional component of the glass empty belief, the fear based emotion, when you share it with somebody else, you're cutting the power of that fear in half. By sharing it with somebody else, you're moving out of the shame of being powerless to the fear and getting support from an outside person. We bring light to our darkest parts, to our deepest, darker parts. And that's when we start healing. Literally now most will do it and they'll be able to start taking action steps in a way that they haven't been able to before. Little by little by little. Yes. Perfect. Now for that percentile of you that realizes that every fear based voice you have has an inner wound that is the creation of that voice. If you're that person, you better have help. And I'm not kidding, if you don't, you need it. I had a therapist for 20 years, Marion Nancy Perla. Over a 20 year period of time, I was almost never without a therapist. Why not? Because I chose it. But I was constantly pushed deeper, deeper, deeper, deeper awareness, which is deeper emotion, which is deeper pain, which needed to be experienced and expressed. But that was Joe's path. Most, I don't think most go there. I don't. I'm not telling you where to go or where not to go, but most people will be able to move forward in their life, remove the experience of feeling stuck by simply becoming aware of the emotional source of the belief. The belief is if I change something else, I'll be okay. That's the belief, the fear of not being able to do it, that's the fear underneath the belief. Once you share that fear with somebody else, the power of the fear cuts in half. And when the power of the fear isn't dominating you because the power gets cut in half, the controlling nature gets cut in half. Your shame, shame based, guilt based, I'm not good enough based beliefs get cut in half, you'll be able to move forward. And quite honestly, that's why I feel angry sometimes, to be honest. With you, I feel defensive. I've got this massive protector part when I see the Johns of the world who simply are the Susie or the Freddie who simply can't do it. And then I hear these motivational speakers with these million followers saying, just go do it anyways. Well, no kidding. All that does is spin John and his shame even more. Because John said, well, what the hell, the entire world, a million followers can do it. I'm the only one that can. It's not true. And if you're that person, no, there's nothing wrong with you, period. The answer isn't in the action. The answer to stuck is to become aware of the fear that's causing the inaction, share the fear with somebody else. And you watch how everything happens, moves and moves forward. If you're the person that says, why do I have all this fear? Again, that was me. I never stopped at the belief. I never stopped at the fear. I always was pursuing. Why do I have the fear? Well, for Joe, the why I had the fear was a wounded little kid. Why is all of this important? And why is all of this happening so rapidly now? Now it's all happening so rapidly now. The awareness. For you to make it 40 minutes into a podcast like this, you are an absolute spiritual warrior. I want to keep telling you different episodes to listen to because they help, they build on each other. Why you feel so anxious? I'm telling you, you listen to that one, you're going to hear things that you didn't hear here. And it's really going to help. It really will. Well, why is it all happening so much faster? Why is a podcast like the we podcast exploding? Exploding. Literally an independent. I started off with zero listeners, none with no money. I'm a guy, I'm you, you're me. I'm not some big career person. What the hell? Right now, 98 of you have listened to my podcast, you don't know my last name now, and you might have listened to 10 of my podcasts. Why do I say that? Because I started with zero. All I started with was an inspiration to share my overflow with the globe. And in 150 days, the we podcast is ranked top 20 on a couple different charts. Why? Because of you. All of you. And there's an awareness and an awakening that's happening. Not the awakening isn't happening because of Joe, that's for damn sure. The awakening is happening because it's a spiritual transformation that the globe is going through. Literally. We are waking up as a humanity more and more Waking up to what? The feminine side itself. Well, fantastic, Joe. Well, what's in the feminine side of self that it's so special? Well, that's where your divinity lives. The whole idea of being created in God's image. Well, that's the fun part. The other part though is the emotional side of self. And it's great as long as you don't have any buried, pent up, unresolved emotion. You got any of that? Well, that's where it can be challenging, truly. Well, all of your fear based voices are sourced by a wounded little kid. Each person's on their own path. I'm not here to tell you what your path looks like. I'm here to tell you what my path looked like. And I always say if I can do it, anybody can freaking do it. That's for damn sure. And I'm not kidding. Literally, I wasn't pursuing God. You can tell it in my voice now. I'm not. I'm passionate, but I can't say I'm the most gentle. I'm not. I called my inner child, a childlike little kid, a little blanker. I'm not going to use the word, but F and blank are together. You can probably figure out what I called myself 13 years sober. So I'm the last thing than gentle. Last thing, but passionate. And I did the work and I'm living on the other side. What the hell? I'm creating a global podcast, sharing my overflow, my divinity. Why is that important? Because if I can, you can. That's the truth and what I need you to understand. And I'm going to get into how so we're created in God's image. That's freaking fantastic, Joe. What the hell does that mean? And if we're so empowered in God, then why aren't we living it? Well, I'm going to tell you in a minute why you're not living it and how do you live it versus just think about it. How do you commune with the power greater than yourself, with a God? What's the difference between connection and communion? Connection is as if you're holding hands with your higher power. Communion is the experience of becoming one with your higher power. I talk about that in one of my podcasts. Gratitude to grace. Well, that becoming one is happening more and more and more and more for people. People are literally just waking up to a oneness they didn't know exists. On Monday it wasn't there. On Wednesday it's there. And on Friday they're going nuts because they don't know how to deal with it. Well, that's why podcasts like this are developed. And the challenge is as you open up, as your humanity is opening up to your feminine side of self, there's the emotional component. There is. Well, the emotional component is the source of the fear. The fear is the source of the belief. The belief is the reason you're stuck. And all of that's inside you, not outside of you. I'll say it the opposite. Most people think stuck is because of their outside world. It's not. Stuck is because of the beliefs in your head which are sourced out of fear, which is caused by a wound. Deeper, deeper, deeper. I don't know where you as the listener are spiritually going to be guided in that depth cycle. I don't know. That's not Joe's role to tell you where. I don't know. It's my role to tell you. Get help. There's more help, more support than ever before. 98% of the reason my path was so challenging. I did all this in the 90s. Pre Internet. I got sober 1994. This podcast is going to be publicized on my 32nd year of sobriety. April 16, 1994. 32nd year will be the day this podcast is published. Pre Internet, I didn't have a cell phone. Texting didn't exist. Email, communicate. It didn't exist. That was then. We're now here. There's support everywhere. I'm going to be a keynote speaker at an organization that Dr. Karen is putting together called a live collective. That type of event, that type of environment is popping up everywhere. Get involved, find it, go online. 1-800-help 1-800-spiritual groups. 1,800-something. Why? Because the more you're around where two or more are gathered, the God inside of you is going to live. So for Joe, what happened and how you truly heal the depths of yourself and how you truly move from stuck to unstuck is you have to learn what voices are keeping you stuck. Okay. We embrace the voice by writing it down. We kind of take the power of the voice in half by telling it to somebody else. But then once you are telling it to somebody else, then you have to learn from a spiritual awakening position, a new set of voices to guide you. And that's where I learned way back when, fear based voices are absolutes. I can't. I won't. I never. It'll never happen. I'm not good enough. I'm this. I'm too fat. I'm too old. I'm too ugly. I'M too boy, I'm too white. I'm too. I'm too something. The glass empty absolute voices versus the all possibility voices. Maybe I can. I think I can. I wonder if I can. I hope I can. I wonder if I can get support. Maybe people help me. Maybe people will love me. Maybe I'll find a new job. When you can move from the I, from the listening and hearing and then learn how to follow. In other words, be guided, your actions, your literal brushing your teeth. What action step am I going to take after I brush my teeth? If you learn how to be guided internally and remember that the divinity in you speaks in all inclusive voices, you want to live as the grandest you, you have to follow the voice of the grandest you. You. You want your external world to mirror the grandest you, you have to be guided by the grander you. Which voice is which? The all or nothing voice is the glass empty. The all inclusive voice is the glass full. And that's why there's groups out there that you can get involved with that'll help you identify those voices. So I'm going to tell you what I did way back when, right? So I mean, literally, it's 30 years ago, 32 years ago. So 31 years ago, I am lost. I'm not drinking, so. And I'm not drugging. So every environment that I went into had drugs and alcohol in it, all of them. So I didn't know what the hell to do. And all of this that I'm teaching and putting words to for you to learn and I'm going to continue to encourage you. Listen again, don't use the we podcast as a one and done. Why there's an every time you listen, there's something that's coming through my divinity that's going to connect to yours. So you've listened to different podcasts, listen to them over and over to see what new awareness might come forward. Folks, please understand the person talking here, the voice God can only do for me what God can do through me, right? Believe me, this is not the human talking. This is divinity talking through me. How do I know? Because if it was Joe's Choice at 9:45 at night, I don't be in bed, my kids are in finals, been working all day. But my divinity said, hey, get in front of that microphone and talk. And here we are. So you're only here, you only have the courage and strength to last 50 minutes into a podcast like this. That for some of you, it's blowing your brain for us Others of you, you're saying, I get it. I hear everything this man is saying. But for all of you, if you listen to different podcasts over and over and tell people about it, they're going to help because you're going to hear things differently as you wake up and you become more and more aware, you're going to get a different benefit and then tell people about it so other people can grow from that benefit, too. Well, back in the day, right, I had no money and a place to go. I couldn't go where I was comfortable. That was bars, because there was alcohol. I couldn't do what I loved to do. That was shoot pool, because pool tables were in bars and bars had alcohol. And I couldn't do what I really loved to do, and that was connect with girls, because the only way we'd connect with girls is in the bars that were drinking. So I literally talk about lost. And I remember thinking, now this is coming from a non God guy. Zero God guy. Like, literally, at this point, I can't really say I effing hated God. Not in my early 30s, but my 20s, I did. I did. Why? Because I was taught that you do it one way or God's going to punish in hell the rest of your life. I said, f you, F that, F this, that. If that's what God's all about, I want anything to do with it. That was my mantra in our 20s. And to be quite honest with you, I just had a big enough personality that I could pull it off. Now I will tell you, my Catholic priest, Father Cam, he saved my life. Did I believe anything the man was saying from the pulpit? No. But did I believe the mannerism in which the man lived? Yes. What was that? One God in love. One God in love. All religion, one God in love. That's why when people say, well, Joe, what's your religion? I say all of them. Why one God in love? What deity you put the adjective to? That's up to you. That's up to you and your family and your environment, not Joe. So my Catholic priest, Father Cam, God rest his soul, I know that man's in heaven. He saved my life. And I'm not kidding. Eighth grade, I didn't have anybody, Kim. And the whole God thing, it wasn't Joe. I didn't do the God thing. I didn't. Well, now I can't do the drug thing. I can't do the alcohol thing. I can't do my friend thing. I don't have a God thing. I'm freaking lost, early 30s. But I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to go. I didn't know what to do. So here's how I would guide myself. I'd get to a stoplight and I'd say, if I used to turn left, turn right now. This was the wisdom of the day. I didn't have any other way to do it. I didn't, I wasn't taught back then. Well, you follow the glass full voices. Because I didn't have any glass full voices. All I heard was the nasty, hate filled, nasty voices. Well, that's why when you write all that nasty stuff down and folks, it's not a one and done. I still do first steps. You might have to do it five times, 10 times, 20 times, 30 times over the next year or two. Do I care? No. You want to feel better? Yes. Then write your voices down and tell somebody else. Just get in the habit. Why? Because every time you have a fear based voice guiding your life, you're going to have a glass empty result in your external world. Fact fear based voice guiding your life. Glass empty result in your external world. That's just how it works. Works. So what Joe would do. And then one day I said, you know what I'm gonna do? What I think Jesus would do. Now where the hell that came from, I have no idea. And I said, well, would Jesus go to the strip bars? Nope, he wouldn't. Would Jesus go whatever? Nope, it wouldn't. So I'm gonna go wherever. Now where that came from, I have no idea. None. Was I a Jesus guy? No, I wasn't, but. And it was, oh, at least 20 years later, thank God, it was 20 years later where I shared that story. And that's when I learned that Jesus hung out with the beggars, the prostitutes, the lowlifes of the communities. Jesus would see these people as humans, as children of God. I remember thinking, oh my gosh, I am so grateful I didn't know that about Jesus back then. When I was in those first months of just completely lost. This is my spiritual experience. The 20th day of February removed all addiction big awarenesses. April 15th, two days from now, right now is April 13th. In two days I'll be going on 32 years of having memories of being sexually abused as a kid. My sobriety day, my Official sobriety day. April 16th. And from April 16th, Joe has had no substance in my body since. So I had to learn how to do the it different because every place that was my normal had drugs and alcohol around. And I didn't know how to do it. So I figured out a plan of do the opposite of what I used to do. I wasn't guided and I didn't have much to do. And that's where I started being guided to nature. Instead of in bars, I was outside in nature. Instead of making friends with a new female, I made friends with trees. Stone Mountain here in Georgia, the largest outcropping of granite I think in the world. Don't quote me, but it's freaking beautiful. Come to Georgia, go to Stone Mountain. I promise you'll love it. Stone Mountain became my friend. Inanimate things that have energy of God in them became my friends, literally. There was an era of time where the veil between me and my awareness and the consciousness of trees, it was removed for a long time and I lived in that place. That's where I talk about the idea of sacred silence. And sacred silence doesn't mean truly no talking. Sacred silence means no giving of your energy to somebody else. Well, I spent that period of time where sacred silence was my everyday. And over time, the silence of my external world would silence my voices and my big critical voices. Because I wasn't living the critical, the glass empty voices. So I would get into the fear and then I would get into the emotion. That's why I did inner child work for so many years. My first book, your inner child has rights too. That's why I wrote it. It channeled through me 2 years, 22 months, 106,800 some odd words channeled through. I didn't write any of it. God wrote it through me. And back in the day, I didn't understand that. I didn't. But I'll tell you what, read the book. It's coming out here soon called Filling the Void. Read it. Read the end. I wrote that 20, almost over 30 years ago. I wrote the end 30 years ago. How I live today. Somebody tell me how the hell I did that 30 years ago. No idea. Well, I do know wasn't me doing the writing. It was me. It was a higher power writing through me. Literally talking in a book written 30 years ago, the life I live today. You read it? Yeah, you can see it. And from that position, right? I said to myself, like, well, if we're created in God's image, that was one of the most confusing things in the world to me. I used to look around, I said, I'm a white guy, big, you know, I'm 226 foot. 220 actually, praise God, I'm 6 foot 210, I've been on a diet. My best buddy was a black guy, Lawrence. My female friend was this tiny little female, you know, 5, 905 pounds, beautiful, from Connecticut. I said, God's image, we don't look anything like each other. How can God look like all of us? 10, 12 years later, I realized we're not created in God's image from our physical. We're created from God's image, from our spiritual, the inner essence, the divinity in us. That's where the we comes. All of us are multi dimensional beings, human self, divine self, inner self, the inner emotional self. The inner emotional self is the emotional side of you, which is in the feminine side of self, which is also the spiritual side of self. Why do we have to go through the depths of our emotional self? Because to truly become one with your divinity, the answers to your divinity are not avoiding your emotions. They're not negating your emotions. They're not. They're not trying to eliminate your emotions. The communion you're searching for is on the other side of your emotions. I'll never forget, I was in a. I had a metaphor of. I was like. I was in the ocean and I would swim and swim and swim and swim. And no matter how far I'd swim, I couldn't reach it, I couldn't solve it, I couldn't whatever. I was fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting. Always trying to do better and be better and be better. And then one day I woke up and God said, joe, your answers aren't on the other side of the ocean. Your answers are at the bottom of the ocean. Stop fighting. Surrender into the depths of yourself. Live the impossible. Well, the metaphor of Joe surrendering, I'll never forget it. I just stopped moving and I surrendered into a true experience of floating deeper and deeper and deeper into the ocean. And then I got scared and I could feel myself fighting, fighting, fighting, fighting to get back to the top of the ocean. And then God said, no, Joe, just open your mouth and breathe. You can live the impossible, Joe, by going through the depths of you. Well, that's how I did it. That's what happened. Now you have to understand, I was many years practiced at going and embracing the depths of my emotional self. Most of you are already there now. You don't have to go through everything I went through. You're already there. A woman that I heard online back in September that awakened all this in me. This woman lives connected to her divinity. She speaks it all the time. I've never even met her yet. And as she talks. She talks from her heart. How about I know in random. I've listened to two or three different podcasts. This woman did every podcast. She does some spot. She's emoting and grieving out of glory one time, out of sadness another time. She's totally connected to her heart already. Now, it just tells me she's done a lot of work, but for most of you, you're already there now. Now the idea is, how do you live it? So if we're all created in God's image, how do we live it? And the answer to living the grander you is dream big dreams. Dream big dreams. Dream big dreams for yourself and dream big dreams for your family. Dream big dreams for the community around you. Let yourself dream again. The opposite of stuck is dreaming. I didn't say take action yet. I said the opposite of stuck is dreaming. And as you let yourself dream and you let that part of yourself start expanding, eventually dreams turn into your imagination. And your imagination is the vibrational sense of you that has all limitless possibilities. Your imagination is your humanity's closest thing to limitless. It's your imagination. Why? Because your humanity is only limited by its physicality. But in your imagination, there's no limitation. None. So as you let yourself dream, then let yourself, your imagination, start to really, really start moving and start flowing and see it and hear it and allow it to really fly. And as you're dreaming and as you're hearing your imagination, every time you have an imagination, you imagine yourself traveling to Europe. When you hear the voice that says, I can't travel to Europe. I could never have the money, I want you to write those voices down. I want you to write down the I can't voices. Why? Because it's the I can't voices that are covering up your ability to go to Europe with the imagination. We want to write down the I can't voices. So you're going to start dreaming again. You're going to start letting yourself imagine again. And as you let yourself imagine, write them down. They call them dream lists, they call them dream boards, all of that. It's all fantastic. Does that help? Yeah, it's kind of fun. Does it do anything? No, it doesn't. Why? Because that's still of your humanity. And we're waking up. We're trying to live as an image of God. How do we live as our higher sense of self? How do we live as our image of God? Well, eventually what happens is, over time, you might have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of imaginative things and dreams eventually, those hundred different things turn into two or three different things that just stick with you. And those two or three different things are your inspirations. And I'll give you an example of one of my dreams. I used to. I'm a big Brad Pitt fan. I. I just think he's fabulous. And way back when I heard, and I don't know if this is true, but I heard that he had bikes in every place where he lived. And I don't know how many places he lived, but he had a bike there. And I remember thinking, one of my dreams, I want to have 50 bikes in 50 different countries. When I thought that just felt so freaking cool and awesome and wonderful. Well, then about, I don't know, six, eight weeks later, I said to myself, you know, that's kind of a cool idea, but I don't really like riding bikes that much. So that imagination that turned into a dream, that's all it was. It was fun in the moment, but did it stick with me as an inspiration? No, it didn't. Well, the process of going from imagination to inspiration, your inspirations stick with you. They're there in the highs, they're there in the lows. They're there when you're emotionally on fire. They're there when you're emotional, in the depths. They're there when everything else feels dismal. They're there when everything feels grand. How do they stick with you so intensely, these things called inspiration? Because your inspirations are not of you. Your inspirations are from the divinity in you. Hear me? Your inspirations, those two or three things that kind of sift down out of all the imaginative things you might want to do. Your inspirations aren't of the human you. Your inspirations are of the divine you. Well, we want to write those inspirations down. And how do we know their inspirations? Because it sticks with you. It sticks with you. In my world, 30 years ago, 30 years ago, I literally thought I was going to be a published author. I was going to follow in the footsteps of John Bradshaw. I was going to be the next Wayne Dyer. And there was this new young stud out there. I was going to mirror him. His name's Tony Robbins. Now, that was 30 years ago. John Bradshaw's passed away. Wayne Dyer's passed away. But both of them wrote, had millions of books sold, and Mr. Robbins is an icon. Well, that was 30 years ago. But those inspirations never left me. They never left. Literally. They stuck with Joe. That's Joe's path. And it wasn't until September 20, 2022. September 22, 2022, where I'm listening to a woman online talk about a grander tomorrow, where my divinity Woke up after 20 years of being dormant and private. My divinity was lived in my family life, not my public life. Then I listened to the same woman share online sharing in a podcast. At the time, I didn't know what a podcast was. She says her only failure in life was her marriage with a tear in her voice. And my heart opened, literally. And from that moment forward, September 22, 2022, my divinity and my heart has been open to share with the world. And that's what I've been doing after that opening. The inspirations that stuck with me for 25 years, had I been living them? No, I hadn't. They've been dormant. Had I been living my higher sense of self in the raising of my kids? Yes. In building a house? Yes. And having a community around me? Yes. But was I sharing my divinity with the world? No, I wasn't. Why? Because it wasn't time. But the inspirations were there, and it just wasn't time for them to unfold. What's the difference between your imagination and your inspiration? Your imagination is of your humanity. Your inspirations are of your divinity. Now, your inspirations might be to start a school, to teach people on class, to train dogs to give back, to volunteer, to have a bake sale. I don't know what your inspirations are, but they're yours. And inspirations are whatever that thing is that sticks with you and stays with you all the time, that's your inspiration. Now, does that change anything, having an inspiration? No, it doesn't. Doesn't change anything. How do you change then, Joe? Well, you move from inspiration to creation, and it's in that spot that most people never succeed. Les Brown, I listened to him 30 years ago. Another fabulous, amazing speaker I'll never forget. He said, the cemeteries of the world are the wealthiest place on the planet because people are live. They're born, they live and they die, and they never share their inspirations with the world. They take all that value, all that wonderment, all that glory, and they never share it with the world. They take it to their grave. I remember hearing that 30 years ago and said, that is the most powerful thing I've ever heard. Never thought of it like that. And I said, so why? Well, what happens when you move from inspiration to creation? That's where your divinity and your humanity come together as one. Living your inspiration out into the world, creating it out into the world is where the concept of God can only do for you what God can do through you. So that in the creation phase, there's a God part, the divinity and the human part, which is the through part. And it's in that communion right there where creation starts. Well, Joe, that sounds simple. Why don't people do it? They don't do it because all the fear based voices, period, the reason people don't do it is because of the fear based voices. No one's going to read my book who would come to my presentations. I'm not smart enough. I'm not good enough. I'm too fat, I'm too skinny, I'm too old, I'm too white, I'm too something. When that's where, when you get to that place of where creation, it's time to start creating. That's where your humanity has to ask for strength and courage from your divinity to start taking action. Please understand that your divinity is there to support you in the creation of something that's going to change your life and change the world. Everybody. It's real comfortable and real common for people to pray for support. When somebody has an accident or somebody's hurt or your child's sick or you're not feeling good, it's easy to say, dear God, make sure, you know, help my kid feel better. That's easy. People do it all the time. But what people don't understand is that that same divinity, that same God in you is there to support you. Every action step you take the small ones and the big ones. So the creation phase, this is in the program where the sixth and seventh step, the sixth step says, we're willing to change. The seventh step says, humbly ask the change. It's in the creation phase of your life where your external world actually starts changing. But it's changing because you're taking action from your divinity, not your ego. You're taking action from your glass full, not your glass empty. And the fear that typically paralyzes us and keeps us from doing it is the fear based voice. And hear me here, your creation of divinity may or may not have an income component to it. May or may not. I'm going to share a story here in a minute of an inspiration I took into full manifestation. I didn't make a penny, not a dime. But the glory I feel as a consequence is amazing. I'm going to tell that story here in a minute. So from that place of creation, right, it's in that spot where most people never move out of their inspiration because they don't know their inspirations are of a higher self. And when those two or three kind of separate from the hundreds and down to two or three, whatever your two or three things are, I can't tell you what yours are. I tell you what mine were. Those two or three things, right? And then moving those two or three things out of your inspiration, which is an internal experience out into the world, that's the creation phase. And what Joe does. I'm a guy with paper and pencil. That's what I start. That's what I do and what I tell people to do. When you have an inspiration, write it down on a piece of paper and then write bullet points. Like, for Joe, in the beginning, I'd write bullet points. I wrote a poem, I just wrote bullet point, bullet point. And every time I had a new inspiration around books, around presentations, around public speaking or whatever, I'd have a different piece of paper. Eventually my papers got so many, I had to get manila folders. So if you've got multiple inspirations, get multiple manila folders. And in the beginning, don't try to make sense of it. Just let it flow through. Bullet point, bullet point, bullet point. Why? Because every time you bullet point your creation, just like when you bullet point your fears, it cuts the power in half. When you bullet point your inspirations, you. You double the power, and then you triple the power. Then you three times the power. The power of what? The power of creation. The more you write, the more there's space for you to write. The more you create, there's more space to create. The more you do it, the bigger you get. The bigger you get, the more you do it. And the more you do it, the grander it feels. The grander you feel, the more you want to put out there. Literally, that's the creation phase. And then eventually what happens? You have enough stuff in creation, then move to the next phase, which you put it all together, and then you implement whatever the it is. Implementation is the manifestation stage of the process. So how do we live? As you know, as an image of God, it starts with dreaming big dreams. Those dreams move into your imagination. You'll have thousands, hundreds of imaginations that will whittle down into two or three inspirations. Understand, your imagination is of your humanity. Your inspirations, those things that stay with you, highs and lows, their emotional challenges or greatness, Whatever, the inspiration stays. Understand? That's how you identify the difference. That's your divinity. When divinity and humanity come together, that's how creation happens. God can only do for you What God can do through you. That's what that phrase means, where creation starts. The reason creation typically never happens and people die with their inspirations is fear. Glass empty voices. How do we get over the glass empty voices? We ask the divinity who gave us the inspiration in the first place for the emotional strength and courage to move forward. As you put enough creation down on pieces of paper and you put them in manila folders, and eventually there's enough data where you move it into manifestation. Manifestation is where you're living whatever it is you've created. And when you remove time frames from the living of your manifestation, you're truly in flow. When you remove the need to create income based on your manifestation, you truly are in flow. Hear me. It is not your inspiration's responsibility to pay your bills. It's your, your job. That's why for the past 15 years, my business, we've got a beautiful business. My partner, Gemini, it's called Avion Energy. Avion pays all my bills. I don't make a dime from these podcasts, None. I share my overflow because it feels good. And then as you're manifesting whatever it is, building a park, tutoring kids, being a baker, helping the elderly, I don't know what your it is, but as you're doing it out in the world, then to truly live in God's image, you have to commit to being very good at what you love to do. Commit to being very good at what you love to do. And one of the qualifications of the manifestation stage, you have to love it. Because if you don't love it, it's not God. How do I know? Let's think about it. What is God? If you were to put one word, one adjective on the thing called God, what is it? What did I say? Religion is one God, in what love? One God love, all religion, all modern day religion, one God love, monolithic God love. So if God is love and love is an emotion and emotions are in your heart, when you're taking actions on something you love, when you're doing what you love, then you're doing God. Doing God. So how do you truly live in the image of God? You allow your inspirations to connect with your humanity in creation. You put it together enough, you put it into manifestation, you start putting it out there into the world. Whatever you're manifesting, you're doing something you love. And then you commit to being very good at that which you love. And in that very good composition, right? The better you get, the better it is, the more you do it, the more you love it, the more you love it, the more full you have. The more full you have, the more you have to give. That's what I do on these podcasts all the time. I'm going to end with my last story and it's about how me, little old me, created a manifestation miracle that happened last year and it just recently manifested here. Recently I was down in South Africa because again, I'm out in the world. A guy says, hey, you want to do a TEDx? I'm like, sure. He's like, great, meet me in South Africa. I'll never forget. I said, south Africa the country? Yeah, South Africa the country. I said, great, I'll do it. So I had a Big Gulp moment and beautiful people and beautiful place and did my TEDx. If you haven't listened to my TEDx, find me Joe Mitiga TEDx. 750 some odd thousand people have graced those pages for me and you know, I just love it. But I'm coming back. And while I was there I learned that over 400 million people don't have water, don't have running water in Africa. I say to people all the time, I think I was the only middle aged white guy on the planet that didn't know that. I had no idea. I certainly had no idea that water, that dirty water and illnesses and dirty water are the one thing that fill most the hospital beds on the planet. No idea. I just didn't know. Coming back, I said, you know what, I'm gonna do something about it, have an inspiration. And I started imagining what it would look like. And if you've ever flown to South Africa from Atlanta on Delta, it's a 15 hour flight there and a 16, 17 hour flight back. I'm not sure how it gets more coming back, but it does, thank God, because I needed that time. Why? Because I started writing down all my ideas of how I would change it. And I thought, you know, what if the awareness of the community because their means, they financially don't have a whole lot of means so their education is going to be limited. Well, if the education of the grandparents is the same as the parents, same as the kids, nothing changes. So I came up with this idea called ProjectSmile World. And Project Smile basically offers free education to the globe. Visit it ProjectSmile World. I've had over 80,000 people download stuff on that page. 80,000. Does anyone pay? No. Is there an income component to Project Smile? No, there's not. Do I feel good? Because I'm doing it Yeah, I feel great. Well, as I get back, I learned and I said, you know what? I'm going to do something. I don't know what. So I would go on LinkedIn, I meet a guy and he asked for $50. And I said, okay, great, 50 bucks. And people say, well, you can't do that, Joe. There's scams, there's this, there's the other thing. I said, you know what? I don't care. I'm doing it. And I did. And lo and behold, I give this man $50. And I learned that technology allows money to move around the planet very quickly. So I learned that there's more money that moves through the globe today in an hour, let alone a day, than there used to be. All money that existed 100 years ago. In other words, we have a very wealthy planet. And the only difference is people that don't have water, don't have wealth. So I'm going to help change that. So anyways, long story short, within two hours, I get a video back of 17, 18 kids, orphans in Uganda who have this big picture with my picture on it saying, thank you, Mr. Joe, for helping us. $50. My heart just expanded. I couldn't believe it. I get another message from this gentleman. Young girl broke her arm. Now this is a precious little girl. Her name is Patricia. She broke her arm and they have no money, so they have no medicine. They can't take her to a doctor. He says, can you help? I'm like, sure, how much? 60 bucks. Sent her $60. So later I asked, I said, so what would have happened if I wanted to give anything the money? He says, well, unfortunately, the arm would have gotten infected. They tourniquet at the elbow or higher, then they just cut it off. $60 saved a girl's arm. $60 saved her arm. Patricia. I did a live stream, started doing a live stream to create awareness to all this. I meet Patricia and in that moment, the veil was gone. Just like 30 years ago. Me and the veil with the trees, nature gone. Well, the veil now between me and these kids is gone. So I can feel her divinity, literally. And the experience I had was grace. That's why the episode Gratitude to Grace is a powerful one. I hope you listen to it. Because one of my original episodes, because the experience of grace, this all happened where I gave the $50 to Patricia back last May. And a year later, nine, 10, 12 months later, whatever it's been, I still have the same experience of grace in my heart because of that $60. What's the difference? Between gratitude and grace. Gratitude is the accomplishment of the experience you feel by accomplishing things and bringing wonderment into your world. It's a great thing. It's the launch point, though it's not the end point. The launch point to moving from gratitude to grace. And grace is the experience you feel inside. You experience inside by helping somebody else. Well, this whole concept continues on. I do a live stream. We get up to 50,000 people on a live stream. And because of that, I'm introduced to a gentleman who's a millionaire out of Dubai. And come to find out that this man several years ago had a spiritual experience. And as he rebuilt his development company, slash real estate development company, he committed to give back to the globe 10 to 15% of all of his company's profits. Fabulous. So because of my project Smile, I introduce this company called Revo and Farhan, who's the owner of Revo, to my caregivers. I have two of them now. One group has 16, 17 more teenage kids. The other has 44 children under the age of 12. Anyway, long story short, I hook them up, don't hear much about it. Four months later, I get. Because I communicate with my caregivers through WhatsApp. Revo's coming. Wow, it's fantastic. Revo's here. Wow, it's fantastic. Revo and this company, he brought himself and five staff to Uganda. And my young kids got beds, got supplies, got rent paid and got food for a very long time because this man gave back to them. I get a video of children who slept on the floor. They've never seen a bed before. The people from Revo give them beds. My other group, I don't hear from other group for a while. I'm thinking, I wonder what happened. We'll come to. My caregiver loses his phone. Phone stopped working. Well, long story short, Revo goes there. I say, you know, if you can build them, if you can get them a system for water. And the rebel guy says, no, no, no, Joe, that we decided we're going to put a bore well in. Like a bore well. A well. So they go to the second group. They've invested in a well for a community of a hundred. All of my kids have beds and building a school and got him food. Now think about that. Now, let me tell you the divinity of all of this. Here's Joe in Atlanta. I'm introduced to my second caregivers in Uganda by a guy in Australia. So Joe's talking to Australia, who introduces me to brother Allen, who's in Uganda. Another gentleman in India introduces me to the men in Dubai. The men in Dubai then go to Uganda and have a hundred. A bore well for 100 and a school for the kids. Where did all that come from when Joe's coming back from South Africa? My imagination. I just let my imagination fly. And then eventually the imagination turned into inspiration. It was called Project Smile. And then my project's mom moved into creation. And because of creation, I put it out there in the world. Because I put it out there in the world, I was introduced to Revo because Revo was introduced to me through my divinity. Revo goes to Uganda. And because of my imagination that I allowed to fly coming back from South Africa last year. Today, as we're speaking, the 13th day of April, 70 kids have died. Beds that never have seen beds before. A community of a hundred have water. They had to go to a stream. They would walk 45 minutes every day. All because I had the ability to allow my imagination to flow. Does it work? Yes. Now, how much money does Joe make on that? Nothing. Zero. That's why I say to you, your inspirations may or may not have an income creation component time. Did all that happen overnight? No. I introduced Revo to my guys in September, October. That's when I started the podcast. In November. But in September, October, they didn't get there until March, five months. So when you let go of time frames, right, and you let go of the idea, you have to make money. Right. Everything flows even better. So how do we live? As a creation of God's image? It starts in your imagination. And that starts by dreaming big dreams. You allow your inspirations to develop into. It starts in your imagination. You allow your imagination to move into inspirations from inspirations. You're going to have the ability to create. That in creation is where humanity and divinity come together. And as humanity and divinity come together, you put it out there in the world because you've asked for the strength and courage from the divinity who gave you the inspiration in the first place. That same divinity will give you the strength and the courage and the ability to create it. God can only do for you what God can do through you. It's the through you part where there's a communion between you and your higher sense of self. Put it out there in the world, and as you're manifesting, commit to becoming very good at what you love to do. Why? Because when you're doing what you love, since God is love, when you're doing what you love, you're truly doing God and the More you do God, the more your world is going to just feel better. Podcast: WE!
Host: Joe Mittiga
Date: April 16, 2026
In this heartfelt and candid solo episode, Joe Mittiga dives into the universal experience of feeling “stuck” in life—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. This session isn’t just about identifying that as a shared human condition, but digging into why we get stuck, why mainstream “just do it” advice rarely works, and what truly transformative personal and spiritual growth require. Joe blends his own raw journey—from addiction and near-homelessness to emotional healing and spiritual awakening—with actionable insights and practices you can use. He invites listeners to see the feeling of stuckness not as a flaw, but as an inevitable, valuable stage in awakening to a fuller life.
Monday: Write down “I’m stuck” voices
Tuesday: Write down the fears behind the stuckness
Thursday: Share with another person
Result: By the weekend, new possibilities often emerge.
Joe shares how his process led from imagination, to inspiration (Project Smile—free education and clean water for African communities), to the actual creation of change (beds, food, and a bore well for a hundred people in Uganda).
Joe closes by reiterating the potency of the “WE”—healing, growing, and awakening can’t be done alone. The process of moving from stuckness to living as an image of God involves deep self-awareness, courage to face and share fears, and commitment to meaningful action inspired by love. Through honest storytelling and practical tools, he invites listeners to listen repeatedly, let the message “work on you,” and join the movement from anxiety and disconnection to healing and grace.
