Charlie Ford
I have to go at 12:30.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's okay. Aussie porn star Charlie Ford has an emergency.
Charlie Ford
It's just we're having a makeup and hair drama. So Lily needs to pick up her extensions and she didn't have enough time to get them before, so we're having to swap times.
Interviewer / Narrator
So instead of she's rushing around the living room of her friend's townhouse in a suburban Las Vegas estate, tossing accessories in a handbag and searching for her car keys among an explosion of clothing, her appointment with a hairstylist has been bumped forward. The countdown is on for the Oscars of porn. The week long X rated convention is winding up and the awards are just a few hours away.
Charlie Ford
I'm wearing a really pretty handmade, very ball gowny, actually. It looks like flower petals basically. And very sparkly and not very revealing. I cover up a little bit for awards because I, I like to, I don't know, like, my fashion sense is not super risque or anything like that. I think a lot of porn girls actually aren't designer girlies as well because we have to buy so much stuff for work that if we're buying designer, then we can't keep up our wardrobes because the girls often will be providing the wardrobe for companies. It's not usually styled by someone. There are only a couple of companies that provide styling. And I also don't pay attention to price tags. And like, I don't hold in my head what my clothes are worth because other things in my life are worth so much more than my clothing. Yeah. By the time you get to this last day, everyone's got the bags coming out and everyone looks like they need a drip of coffee.
Interviewer / Narrator
And yeah, she's nominated in an impressive list of categories tonight, including best international group scene and best double penetration. But there's one particular gong she has her eye on. Best gang bang.
Charlie Ford
There were five or six guys. Oh, no, wait, sorry, no. There were eight guys, two girls, eight guys. And it was a lot of fun. It was very intense. So my butthole deserves to win that one for sure. I really hope that I get that one.
Interviewer / Narrator
What's the difference between a gangbang like that and then like a world record challenge like the one we've seen Bonnie.
Charlie Ford
Do in the last week, what Bonnie Blue did. And the people who are doing the like thousand people. It's usually one guy after another. It's like a train versus a gang bang. Is everyone in the room at the same time interacting? I think there are differences, but I don't think that it makes one more exciting or less exciting than another. It's still an insane amount of people, you know, together.
Interviewer / Narrator
There's an even bigger difference. The average everyday person has never heard about Charlie Ford's gang bang. But a lot of them have read about Bonnies in the news headlines. Charlie checks the time on her phone. She's running late.
Charlie Ford
I don't think I need to bring anything. I'm just thinking, I think she has everything for my hair and makeup.
Interviewer / Narrator
She finally locates her car keys and says goodbye to her two beagles now named Lola and Tammy who are staring up at her from the pull out sofa bed.
Charlie Ford
I'll see you later.
Lily Phillips
I'll come back.
Charlie Ford
I can't wait for today to be over.
Interviewer / Narrator
It's a lot. Okay.
Lily Phillips
Off we go.
Interviewer / Narrator
Describe how you're feeling at the end of this week.
Charlie Ford
I'm just sleepy. Like grateful happy.
Interviewer / Narrator
Charlie may be sleepy and happy, but me, I'm bracing for impact. I've spent the past week at the centre of an industry that's at war with itself. Tonight the two sides tides will collide. I'm still waiting to hear back from Bonnie's team about what time I can go to the mansion to watch her get ready. After all, Bonnie is convinced that this will be her time to shine.
Charlie Ford
I've been nominated every year ever since I started working in porn. But I haven't won one. So we'll see what happens tonight. I think it will come eventually. I mean I must be doing something right so I think it's just a matter of time for me. But honestly like here's the way I look at these awards as well por a type of art and art is subjective and so I never get upset or feel weird about other people winning because at the end of the day we're all doing the same thing. We're all taking dick for money. We're not creating Oscars. But we still put a lot of pride into our work.
Interviewer / Narrator
Do you feel pressured to get media attention or stay in the news?
Charlie Ford
I think everyone has very different marketing tactics and I steer clear of that. For me I try to focus on my personality more because that's what I think makes me different to other people in the industry. That's my, that's my edge I guess. And so the other thing that I'm always conscious of is Instagram and Twitter or X and all of those platforms, TikTok, they're all becoming more and more strict. You could potentially have your entire account wiped.
Interviewer / Narrator
Charlie loves porn, but it's not her whole world. This qualified animal vet says there are some things in her life that stop her competing in what has become a cutthroat battle for eyeballs.
Charlie Ford
For me, there's a fine line because I am a doctor and I want to be able to still do that. And because I'm working on a mainstream acting career as well, I have to toe the line a little bit more than a lot of content creators where other people can be a lot more salacious. I have to strip back a little bit because I'm conscious of the fact that I want to keep particular doors open, that those would potentially close.
Interviewer / Narrator
Over the last few days when I've interviewed Charlie, she has been hesitant to talk about the rise of rebel amateur creat like Bonnie Blue and Lily Phillips. She doesn't want to speak disparagingly about other women in the business, but it's clear she's agitated by it and she has fraught feelings that are at odds with what's playing out in the industry today. As she speeds along the highway in her RAV4, those unfiltered thoughts spill out.
Charlie Ford
My personal opinion when I look at porn and content creat. If we are making a film that we're going to go on and sell to anyone and we are involving someone else in it, I think that other person should either be paid for being in the video or they should receive the content to be able to sell themselves. The biggest problem I have with a lot of the people who are doing these large gang bangs or you know, releasing content with like everyday people is that they're getting consent forms signed but they're not giving them the content and they're not paying them. And when you're 25 or 30 year old man and you're making that active decision and your frontal lobe is developed and you can understand what you're signing up for and know that you could get more but you're not, then that's fine, that's your decision that you make. But when you're 18 and your frontal lobe isn't developed and you don't have the ability to understand that you should be getting paid or you should be receiving the content, then I have a problem with it. Like if you look at, for example, a young girl comes into the professional porn industry, there's been this argument that, well, you know, we profit off young girls having sex with people, so why wouldn't we allow young guys to do the same? But the difference is that those young girls that are working for companies are getting paid to be in that video and then it creates a brand that they can then go on to create a career with. But these men, they're ending up in porn and it's not contributing to the rest of their life in any greater sense. They're just in a porno suddenly. And a lot of them think that masks protect them and masks don't. It's very easy to tell what someone looks like even if you cover your face. And so I think that we're in this era where I think a lot of younger people are being taken advantage of as far as their naivety as to how the industry works. And I think we in the industry have a responsibility to make sure that we protect those people. So I don't have a problem with filming with young people. I don't have a problem with huge gang bangs. I mean, I love doing scenes with lots and lots of people. I think it's really fun. But I think we need to be conscious of doing it in an ethical way. And I think although no one's doing anything illegal, it's questionable the ethics as to what's happening with some people at the moment. I mean, here's the thing. I think a lot of people look at those situations and they don't really know what it is that sits uncomfortably with them. They just. It just sits uncomfortably. But I mean, that's salaciousness. That's the reason why Taboo is such an interesting and like, well followed pornography sector and why MILF is a particularly common porn sector. There's nothing wrong with selling something that's salacious.
Interviewer / Narrator
Charlie swerves into a car park below the casino where the porn expo is taking place. The hair and makeup artist is here preening other performers before the awards.
Charlie Ford
I mean, get you get media attention whatever way you feel comfortable. I don't have a problem with it per se if they're comfortable with it. For me, I couldn't take the repercussions like the way people talk. I think people are already so horphobic in a lot of ways and massaging and I think we've still got a long way to go in society as far as how people talk to sex workers. And I just wouldn't be able to cope emotionally with using that style of advertising. I would really struggle with it. I'm just gonna park here.
Interviewer / Narrator
She frantically reaches over to the floor below the passenger seat to grab her stuff, tossing aside a container of biscuits that she baked for a Sexy yet relatable OnlyFans video. They've now gone stale. She tries to Untangle herself from the seat belt. The buckle jams. Take a chance. Hit, hit, hit. Control to leave. It's the last day of the porn convention and there's only a few hours left until these dream girls disappear from the casino hallways and strut back behind the glass of the computer screen. Lining up to meet today's porn stars is a middle aged man with a T shirt that reads pussy the most expensive meal you'll ever eat at one booth. In the center of the room is Lily Phillips, the tabloid rival of Bonnie Blue. Lily is smiling and chatting to her followers who have formed a line that snakes around the auditorium. But not everyone in the queue is a sweaty guy wearing a crude slogan T shirt.
Lily Phillips
She's cute.
Charlie Ford
She's got that like girl next door vibe.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's Christy Reyer, a 27 year old fraud specialist who has traveled from New York City to the expo with her boyfriend. At first I make the mistake of assuming he dragged her here and I'm promptly corrected.
Lily Phillips
I'm the Lily fan.
Interviewer / Narrator
She's the one that's the Lily fan. Okay, you're the Lily fan. Tell me about. Surprising, right? It's very surprising. What did you say to her when you met her?
Lily Phillips
Just that I admired her and that.
Charlie Ford
She was really beautiful. We just had like girl talk for a second.
Lily Phillips
She complimented my outfit, said that I was pretty. Just, you know, girl shit.
Interviewer / Narrator
I can't help but think Lily's gal pal approach with her female audience is a lot different to the hostile tactics of Bonnie. Just last night while we were in her bed, Bonnie gave a firm assessment.
Lily Phillips
I'm more than happy to piss women off. Like your husband doesn't want to be.
Charlie Ford
With you when he like that.
Lily Phillips
So then yeah, I am going to pleasure him and give him a good.
Charlie Ford
Time while she's sat there just bitching.
Interviewer / Narrator
Do you know about Bonnie Blue?
Charlie Ford
Yeah, I do.
Lily Phillips
She's a bad bitch too. I love a blonde.
Charlie Ford
I can't lie.
Lily Phillips
I love a blonde. She's controversial because I think she like sleeps with like young guys. She's like older. Not older, but I'm 27.
Charlie Ford
I think she's older than I am.
Interviewer / Narrator
She's 25.
Lily Phillips
Oh really? She's younger than me. That's cr.
Charlie Ford
But she sleeps with like guys that are like 18.
Lily Phillips
I mean, I respect what she does, but at the same time, I do kind of agree with some of the pushback she gets.
Interviewer / Narrator
If you read the tabloids, she seems to be in a feud with Lily Phillips. Do you know about that?
Lily Phillips
Yeah, I think they're saying that, like.
Charlie Ford
Lily's trying to copy her.
Interviewer / Narrator
Which side are you on?
Lily Phillips
I mean, nothing's original, like, at all. We live in 2025. Everything's been done. It's not like Bonnie coined it.
Charlie Ford
You know what I mean?
Interviewer / Narrator
Meanwhile, Bonnie has cut communication again. I was originally promised time with her today as she gets ready for the awards, but her team is now being evasive, apparently, or so I've heard. Bonnie is not thrilled with our interview last night. This means I now have time on my hands. Maybe someone else would like to chat. Perhaps Bonnie's arch rival. Hey, Lily James. We're here from news.com in Australia.
Lily Phillips
Amazing.
Interviewer / Narrator
Hey, I'm just done here doing a podcast series, and I just want to include you while you do your makeup ahead of the awards tonight. Would you be cool with that?
Lily Phillips
Yeah, yeah, that's cool.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's cool.
Lily Phillips
I am staying in the Cosmopolitan now.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's okay. I can come anywhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's okay. Are you just able to write down your best contact and I'll send you? It seems as if amateur creators like Lily and Bonnie are in the headlines on a daily basis with their sex stunts. And it's easy to believe the hype. After all, according to Bonnie, she's the most famous porn star on the planet right now.
Lily Phillips
I earn over £1,000 an hour.
Charlie Ford
I'm the one with the most views. I'm the one that goes viral all the time.
Lily Phillips
I am the main character.
Interviewer / Narrator
Her mission to become a household name is in full swing. So you'd think every man inside this building, a potent demographic of chronically online porn connoisseurs, would be well acquainted with all the viral sex stunts that have ravaged Internet timelines like a horny tornado over the past six months. Right. Do you know who Bonnie Blue is? I'm not sure who that is. I'm sorry. Hey, do you know who Bonnie Blue is? No, I don't. I'm sure you're aware of Bonnie Blue, right?
Lily Phillips
I am not.
Interviewer / Narrator
Are you familiar with Bonnie Blue?
Jay Rodriguez
Bonnie Blue? No, I'm not familiar.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's J. Rodriguez. He's rolling past the commotion on a red motorised scooter. His slogan T shirt offers a bold declaration. I have a BBC. It stands for Big Black. You get the picture. You've got Lily Phillips here who did the 100 guys in a day challenge. Are you familiar with her work?
Jay Rodriguez
I'm not, actually. I've never actually seen her before in my life.
Interviewer / Narrator
And that's because, for Jay, his taste is a touch more niche. Gang bangs don't impress him. He's up to something with a little more soul.
Jay Rodriguez
Jeepers. Okay, so I'm a footman. It's very simple. It's a girl's got great looking feet, pretty feet, and the guy worships them, you know, licks them, kisses them, sucks them, rubs them. Oil. That's a big one as well. An oily sole of a foot. Something very magical about that. It looks great and it feels phenomenal.
Interviewer / Narrator
The annual porn convention has become somewhat of a mecca for jay. It's the third consecutive year this 50 year old has made the pilgrimage from London where he works as a university researcher. What usually needs to be involved for.
Jay Rodriguez
You to enjoy it, apart from pretty feet, you mean? I'd rather see boy girl than girl girl. You know, feet on feet sort of thing.
Interviewer / Narrator
Do you remember when you saw your first foot?
Jay Rodriguez
Yeah, I do, I do.
Interviewer / Narrator
Tell me about the first foot you saw.
Jay Rodriguez
You really want to know?
Interviewer / Narrator
I do.
Jay Rodriguez
Sheep has. I was at a wedding. I was 12 at a wedding. My family took me to a wedding and there was this woman there and she had great looking feet in a lovely pair of shoes. That's another thing. The foot thing isn't just about bare feet in a great pair of shoes. Ideal. And she was just standing there in this pair of shoes and I suddenly thought, oh, I like that. I was only 12, but I like the look of that. So do you know what a marble is?
Interviewer / Narrator
Like a, like a glass marble?
Jay Rodriguez
Yeah, yeah, I had marbles. I was 12, remember I dropped my marbles on the floor on purpose so I could bend down and sort of crawl, you know, oh, I'm picking up my marbles, but I'm not really. I was trying to get as close as I could and I remember it so well and I wanted to get just a little feel and I did. And obviously she was a bit like, oh, what's going on? And I said, I'm sorry, I'm getting my marbles. And she was like, oh, okay. Whether she bought it or not, I don't care because I was. That was my first realization that I really like women's pretty feet.
Interviewer / Narrator
So with a lot of the girls that you've met here at the convention this week, do you also subscribe to their work? And how much does that cost you.
Jay Rodriguez
A month in British pounds? 120 pounds, whatever that is in dollars.
Interviewer / Narrator
That'S about 250 Aussie dollars a month. Jay now enforces a strict budget on his porn consumption. After learning a tough lesson not long ago, he Found himself in a dark place, alone in his bedroom with his computer and a credit card.
Jay Rodriguez
It got a bit out of hand when there was not much else to do and I found myself just spending hundreds. At one point, I was spending hundreds a week on different platforms. Subscribing to this and subscribing to that. Got out of hand at its peak.
Interviewer / Narrator
How much were you spending in a week?
Jay Rodriguez
At its worst, yeah, 300 pounds a week.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's about 600 Aussie dollars per week or $2,400 a month or $30,000 a year. What led you to have the wake up call where you realized you couldn't be spending that much?
Jay Rodriguez
I was starting to put aside other financial obligations and realized that I was getting myself into a bit of debt. As in I was owing money for things that I shouldn't be owing money for because I was spending my money on more important things, or at least what I saw as more important at the time.
Interviewer / Narrator
And do you have a partner, Jay?
Jay Rodriguez
A partner?
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah.
Jay Rodriguez
Not at the moment, no.
Interviewer / Narrator
Are you on the dating scene at the moment?
Jay Rodriguez
No, I don't really like the dating scene. I mean, if it's gonna happen for me, I'll just let it happen naturally, if you know what I mean. Yeah, dating scene is not really my thing.
Interviewer / Narrator
When you were spending about 300 pounds a week on porn subscriptions, how frequently were you consuming the porn?
Jay Rodriguez
All day. All day. Like literally all day. You know, I mean, I was just watching it and reviewing it and, and analyzing and researching, oh, who's she? And finding new artists all day.
Interviewer / Narrator
While I wait for Lily to finish her shift at the signing booth, I spot z lightskin, the 24 year old fledgling amateur creator with the broccoli haircut and Justin Bieber swagger. I met him a few days ago when he accosted Bonnie Blue during her split second impromptu appearance at the expo where he tried convincing her to film content with him. I, like, just started kind of blowing up. You're blowing up. And what kind of content would you want to do? Like one of Bonnie's gang bangs that she's done?
Lily Phillips
Yeah, that would be cool. Yeah, like a boy, boy girl with.
Interviewer / Narrator
Her that would go crazy. Just something like that will go viral.
Jay Rodriguez
That she would like.
Interviewer / Narrator
While Bonnie hasn't taken him up on his offer, he's moved on to his next conquest. And he's still on a mission to be involved in a viral sex stunt. I've kind of solidified my name and it's time really step up to the next level. Become A household name. He's with a buddy named Carlos Dickinson, and the boys are trying to convince a young female creator named Sakura Lin that for her to elevate her profile, she needs to film a scene with them and do things she's never done before. Well, we've already shot boy, boy girl, so I've shot boy girl with her as well a couple times. And I think the next step, not only in our career, but even her career, would be a gang bang. And between me and specifically my friends, who are all big and in the industry. Yeah, 100%.
Lily Phillips
It's because I've been doing this for, like, four years now. You know, it's just like a slippery slope to do more and more. So I think a gang bang would be a good, you know, thing for my career.
Interviewer / Narrator
Next step for her, Pretty much, yeah.
Lily Phillips
Because I've never done an anal scene, and obviously there's no gang bang without anal. Right?
Jay Rodriguez
Yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
And it would pretty much be going in with a bang. If she's never done anal and she's getting gang bang, it's a pretty.
Lily Phillips
Yeah, yeah. I think people will like that. Yeah. Because we're trying to navigate because, like, it's gonna be an airtight scene, you know, like double penetration with the mouth, you know? So who's going in the mouth? Who's going the pussy, and who's going in the booty hole?
Jay Rodriguez
Yeah, in the booty hole.
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah. So pretty much I'm definitely leaning towards either the vagina or the mouth, and.
Lily Phillips
I think he's leaning towards the.
Jay Rodriguez
The vagina. The audio upside down.
Charlie Ford
Yeah.
Lily Phillips
Yeah. Because it's something my fans have requested, like, game bang. Gang bang. Gang bang.
Charlie Ford
Gang bang.
Interviewer / Narrator
The Oscars of porn is just a few hours away, and in a hotel room high above the city, Lily Phillips is getting ready to attend the event. I'm standing in the shiny lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, waiting to be collected by the personal assistant of Lily Phillips. James, thank you so much. What's your name, by the way?
Lily Phillips
Jade.
Interviewer / Narrator
Jade. And you're the assistant?
Lily Phillips
Yes, I am.
Interviewer / Narrator
During the elevator ride up to Lily's room, I try to fill the silence with polite small talk. Wednesday, 31st of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, four hours each.
Lily Phillips
Sorry, I don't want to see rude.
Jay Rodriguez
But I just don't want to be interviewed.
Lily Phillips
Thank you.
Interviewer / Narrator
Jade, the personal assistant bats away my attempts and dodges even the most innocuous questions. Unlike Bonnie's team, the staff employed by Lily don't seem to want to be in the spotlight themselves.
Lily Phillips
Hi.
Interviewer / Narrator
Hi, Lily. How you Going good?
Lily Phillips
I'm good, thank you. Oh, for taking so long. I apologize.
Interviewer / Narrator
I'm recording, by the way. Is that okay?
Lily Phillips
Yeah, go for it. Sorry. Take a seat, make yourself at home. Honestly, sorry, it's a bit messy in here. We've just been living out of suitcases.
Interviewer / Narrator
The room is piled high with stuff. Every surface is covered by clothing and accessories and colourful plastic junk food wrappers. Welcome to the life of a 23 year old with a passport and cash to burn. She notices me glancing around and she starts poking fun at herself.
Lily Phillips
She has so much shit on the floor. Disgusting dirty food that's been there for.
Interviewer / Narrator
Days, swaddled in a white bathrobe. She's sitting in a chair at the center of the room next to her unmade bed as a stylist fiddles with her long blonde hair.
Lily Phillips
Oh yeah. So I've just had an everything shower, shaved every inch of my body, scrubbed my face, still my hair. And then I've got my lovely hairstylist here just making me look beautiful for the night. I think she looks beautiful with her hair done. So we're gonna do like an old Hollywood glam waves since it's an award show. Feeling very nervous eating a Shake Shack. And that sums up the evening I'm nominated for fave Independent female creator.
Interviewer / Narrator
And who are you up against?
Lily Phillips
Some great girls. Honestly, like, I would not be surprised if they won because they're insane.
Interviewer / Narrator
One of the ladies she's competing with in the category, Bonnie Blue. They've both been on a similar trajectory in recent months. Lily has made a name for herself as an amateur OnlyFans performer, causing a stir and generating news headlines with sex stunts like her recent endeavour to sleep with 100 men in a single day. It has been a wild four years. She has gone from being a university student with a side hustle as a social media influencer and transformed into a. Well, I'll just let her explain it.
Lily Phillips
The girl next door. But act like a massive whore. Sorry, that rhymed.
Interviewer / Narrator
According to her. She kind of just fell into it.
Lily Phillips
I use my real name. So yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
What inspired you to use your real name is that just by accident?
Lily Phillips
You know what? I already had built up a slight following on Instagram before I even started. And so I kind of thought best bet was just to go in with my real name because people already knew of me, if that makes sense. I believe I had 16k on Instagram before I started.
Interviewer / Narrator
And what kind of content were you doing?
Lily Phillips
Oh, just like very cutesy girly photos. I was doing a Lot of outfits of the day. I would buy outfits from online and then take photos in them and then send them back and get the money back for them.
Interviewer / Narrator
In recent months, she has also started filming professional studio scenes.
Lily Phillips
Obviously, everyone charges different. I charge right now about 2,500 for a boy girl. And then about a year ago, I was like, fuck it. You know, I'm gonna do what I want and make the content that I want to. And that's kind of when I got into more the extreme stuff.
Interviewer / Narrator
And what is some of that extreme stuff?
Lily Phillips
Just like anal, boy, girl, gang bangs, bukakis, anything really. I do it all. Things just got twice went quite like viral and it's just been insane. Lots of people wanted to talk to me and talked about like, the stunts I'm doing, things like that, which is awesome.
Interviewer / Narrator
I feel like you're a headline magnet. You're always in the headlines. And since you've landed here in Vegas just a few days ago, you only need to Google your name. Lily Phillips. I'm going to read a few of them. Lily Phillips faces U.S. deportation threat over plan to sleep with 1,000 men in a day. On Us Weekly. Lily Phillips says Airbnb banned her after sex stunt. On Newsweek, Lily Phillips stopped at US border after having sex with 101 men in a day. Online, Lily Phillips reveals how much money she makes after having sex with 100 men. And it just goes on. How important are the headlines to your business model?
Lily Phillips
I mean, I do have a PR team, but other than that now I think. Cause I built up my brand, the headlines just kind of come without me even like prompting them.
Interviewer / Narrator
How involved is the PR team and what's the strategy behind Lily Phillips Incorporated?
Lily Phillips
To my. He just tries to get me like as much press as possible.
Interviewer / Narrator
Do you believe in that old adage, there's no such thing as bad publicity?
Lily Phillips
I do and I don't. No. I guess all publicity's got publicity. But then again, I guess you don't always want to be perceived as like a horrid person.
Interviewer / Narrator
Going back to one of those headlines that I just read out, is Lily Phillips facing US deportation after threatening to sleep with a thousand men.
Lily Phillips
They did stop me at the border, but. And they said, if you fuck a thousand men while you're here, as in a day, then yes, you will face like, they will ban you.
Interviewer / Narrator
But tell me more about that conversation at the border. What happened?
Lily Phillips
So they took me into a room and was basically just asking about my job and what I'm here to do and making sure. That, you know, I'm not working while I'm here or anything like that. And just trying to make sure. Yeah. That because I'm on an esta. Not a working visa. So just trying to make sure that I'm here for the right reasons.
Interviewer / Narrator
This interference by the US Government has thrown a spanner in the works. Lily says she had big plans to film content here in Las Vegas and one up her previous record of sleeping with 100 men in a single day.
Lily Phillips
I wanted to sleep with a thousand men in 24 hours. So I was planning to do it here while the AVNs were on, because I didn't actually realize it was work. Cause, like, I thought you're allowed to sleep with guys. Like, it's not work at the end of the day. And, yeah, I plan to do it while the AVNs are on because there would be a lot of porn fans in the area. But obviously, since we faced that, I was like, I'm gonna shut it down. I'm not gonna do it here.
Interviewer / Narrator
So the quest for a thousand guys continues.
Lily Phillips
Yes.
Interviewer / Narrator
Would you call them sex stunts?
Lily Phillips
Yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah. Tell me about the sex stunts and the concept behind that.
Lily Phillips
Yeah, so I kind of thought that my poem was maybe getting a little bit boring and very much like everyone else's, and I wanted to make it really unique. And for me, I also wanted to do it with fans because obviously there aren't many girls that they can subscribe to and also fuck at the same time. So I thought it would be great content. So, yeah, that's kind of when I decided to start doing these, like, crazy numbers.
Interviewer / Narrator
A lot of the headlines, when you Google your name, it seems like there's what people in the industry are calling beef between your name and Bonnie Blue. Can you give me a rundown of what's actually going on there?
Lily Phillips
I. I don't have any beef with her.
Interviewer / Narrator
Is that part of the PR strategy?
Lily Phillips
Oh, definitely not. I'm a lover, not a hater.
Interviewer / Narrator
What other stunts have you done?
Lily Phillips
Oh, I. On Tuesday, I did 50 in my.
Interviewer / Narrator
Back door on Tuesday. You did that?
Jay Rodriguez
Yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
What, here in Las Vegas?
Charlie Ford
Yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
Lily seems to forget that just a few moments ago, she told me about how she was dramatically stopped at the US border and warned that she was under no circumstances allowed to film sex tapes on American soil that she could later sell. After all, that would be breaching her visa. She suddenly realizes the error. Wincing her face before backtracking.
Lily Phillips
No, I did. I did it in London.
Interviewer / Narrator
Sorry, but did you really do it in London?
Lily Phillips
Yes, I Did. Yeah.
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah. I decide not to press Lily on this contradiction. Whether she filmed those 50 men in London or Vegas doesn't really matter anymore. It seems she can't keep her own story straight. The performance has become the reality. And the thing is, she's not alone. I leave Lily in the hotel room and give her some time to get her recollections in order before the big night.
Charlie Ford
Take it to the streets.
Interviewer / Narrator
It's the night of nights and all the sirens from your Internet screen are here to dazzle on the red carpet at the Oscars of porn. Plucky fans are lined up to catch a glimpse of their favorite starlets. Most of them are middle aged men and a lot of them do have cameras on selfie sticks poking up above the crowds. It's all to ensure they get adequate footage of their favourite porn star that they'll no doubt be reviewing later. Again and again and again, performers begin arriving, posing for cameras and waving at fans. Just like the Academy Awards, the Oscars of porn is a precise, prestigious affair of influence and excellence.
Lily Phillips
Being at the porn awards tonight makes.
Charlie Ford
Me feel like a dirty, slutty mother.
Interviewer / Narrator
That's Piper Press, the MILF performer who declined the offer to film content earlier this week with Aussie milf. Molly Manning. And you're famous for what kind of porn, Piper?
Lily Phillips
Dirty mommy roleplay.
Interviewer / Narrator
How does tonight make you feel walking the red carpet like a filthy mother.
Charlie Ford
Thanks for your boners, fanboys.
Interviewer / Narrator
Then she gets distracted and stumbles away. Lily Phillips breezes by with her old Hollywood hair and black satin dress. The ingenue who hasn't yet been shoved into MILF hood. And there's Charlie Ford floating past in her flower petal gown. She doesn't bark in the spotlight. Instead she quietly smoulders, arching her back and glancing over her shoulder to look at the cameras. She then disappears into the theater, ready to find out if her butthole wins best gang bang. As hundreds of porn stars flood the red carpet in elaborate and sexy costumes. I'm studying everyone who shuffles by, hoping to see Bonnie Blue as she triumphantly debuts her $40,000 one of a kind Louis Vuitton dress. But over the two hours of fanfare, she never appears. Amongst all the middle aged fanboys who line the barricades, a petite woman in her 60s with a short grey haircut. Cheers for every single performer. Like a mum at a school athletics carnival.
Lily Phillips
I'm a mother and my son dates Jules Blue, who is in the industry and she's a porn star. She does cosplay she does all kinds of things. She even comes over for Christmas and cooks us Christmas dinner.
Interviewer / Narrator
Her name is Charisma Holquin and she has traveled from Arizona with her husband to be an unofficial cheerleader.
Lily Phillips
I just heard that nobody's really supporting these people in the industry and so many people have family members that have turned them away because of the business they're in. And it's like, you know, it is a business.
Charlie Ford
And a lot of these people are creative and wonderful people and great personalities.
Interviewer / Narrator
Suddenly, the energy in the room shifts and a sense of mania vibrates through the crowd. Heads turn. Cameras shoot up. High above the crush of people taking center stage on the red carpet is the woman they've all been waiting for. It's Angela Waite, the thunder from down under. She's wearing her trademark style, an all black gown that teases a satisfying hint of curves. She flicks her long dark hair over a shoulder and flashes a smile. Her hand gracefully glides through the air as she waves at her adoring fans, almost in slow motion. They're not going to rush. Angela White sees the super superstar. You notice they're not telling her to hurry up. They've been rushing everybody, but it's like she just taking her sweet time.
Jay Rodriguez
They don't mess with Angela's wife.
Interviewer / Narrator
Angela's arrival almost seems like the natural climax of the evening. After she levitates into the theater, her seductive presence lingers outside like a sweet perfume. The crowd begins to thin out. The casino staff begin ripping up the red carpet. But what about Bonnie? More time passes and there's still no sight. Then, just when it seems like she's a no show, there's a chaotic flurry in the distance. A group of people are shoving their way across the casino floor through the maze of slot machines. Led by her publicist, Emma, Bonnie rushes closer to the door of the theater and finds a section of the red carpet that hasn't yet been torn up. Why were you running late?
Charlie Ford
Obviously.
Interviewer / Narrator
Bonnie's walking the red carpet with Josh. Ollie's standing back holding the bag and he's wearing a Gucci blazer. Bonnie's finally getting a check chance to show off the Louis Vuitton one of a kind dress and Summer is diligently walking behind her. Hey, Summer. Why are you guys late? It was meant to be 8pm the finish. They did it early. Emma, the publicist, jumps in to shut down the questions.
Lily Phillips
She didn't want to line up, which is fair.
Interviewer / Narrator
As her PR manager, what did you think of her missing the red Carpet.
Lily Phillips
She hasn't missed it. She's on it right now, but they're.
Interviewer / Narrator
Peeling it up behind her.
Lily Phillips
She's got time.
Interviewer / Narrator
This scrappy, frenzied scene doesn't quite seem to be what Bonnie had in mind when she was proudly showing me her black sheer netted gown last night as we stood in her closet, the $145,000 diamond necklace barely gets a minute to glimmer under the light. With the award show set to start in minutes, Bonnie poses for a camera and then scrambles inside, ready to bask in her glory. Inside the theatre, the ceremony unfolds over three hours. Angela White dominates, as expected, the establishment queen, collecting six trophies, including favorite female porn star. Her magnum opus. Fuck Angela. The love letter to Y2K. Porn is celebrated. Charlie Ford's butthole is sadly not honored. Meanwhile, I'm stuck outside with the groupies waiting to see if Bonnie's gamble paid off. One of these blokes is Jake Martin. The 40 year old Canadian has been coming to the awards for the past decade. He's on a stakeout, lurking by the exit, waiting for his favourite porn star, Rita Daniels, to finally saunter out.
Jay Rodriguez
I don't know where she's gonna be coming in or she's left already. We've become friends. I mostly contact her through social media.
Interviewer / Narrator
As I stand among the slot machines and wait for Bonnie to emerge, I'm approached with a particular request that given the circumstances of tonight's event, shouldn't come as a surprise. A condom? No, I don't have a condom. Are you asking for a condom? Yes.
Jay Rodriguez
I got something in the parking lot. I'm trying to go handle it. If you don't have one, that's your fault. Everybody should have one. I just ran out. Don't do that.
Interviewer / Narrator
Who's in the car park?
Jay Rodriguez
Oh, in the parking lot. What?
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah. Don't do that.
Jay Rodriguez
You know. You know it's a porn star. Don't do that. You know I got a porn stop there.
Interviewer / Narrator
Wait, which porn star is it?
Jay Rodriguez
Don't do that. We won't be that messy, sir. We won't do this.
Interviewer / Narrator
What are you gonna do in the car park?
Jay Rodriguez
Get kicked out?
Interviewer / Narrator
86?
Jay Rodriguez
You know what? 86 ain't me.
Interviewer / Narrator
No. What is getting 86 mean?
Jay Rodriguez
You kicked off the property for doing something wrong. We're gonna when we get caught, that's what we're gonna do.
Interviewer / Narrator
Does getting 86 have anything to do with getting 69?
Jay Rodriguez
No, but she will get that and both. She's gonna get 69 then 86.
Interviewer / Narrator
And these parking lot 69ers aren't the only ones getting 86'd it seems the porn industry has rejected the rebel creator who has spent the past 12 months antagonizing it. The doors to the theater swing open. It's nearing midnight, and Bonnie finally emerges from the porn awards. She's looking glum, her arms across the team's lacking energy. It seems that she didn't snatch the trophy that she came here to win.
Lily Phillips
Hey.
Interviewer / Narrator
Oh, hi. You seem disappointed to see me.
Lily Phillips
Always disappointed to see you.
Interviewer / Narrator
Why? What happened? Inside, Emma takes the lead while Summer, Ollie, and Josh surround Bonnie, who's avoiding eye contact. They block me from talking to her.
Lily Phillips
Not much. Not much.
Interviewer / Narrator
Yeah. Did you.
Lily Phillips
I'll take the questions.
Interviewer / Narrator
Okay. Did. Did Bonnie take home the trophy?
Lily Phillips
No.
Interviewer / Narrator
You seem disappointed.
Lily Phillips
Of course we're disappointed.
Interviewer / Narrator
The gong went to a British performer called Mama Plugged in, whose tales of struggling as a teen mom and getting Brazilian butt lift surgery keep her in the tabloids. Apparently, inside the theatre, there was an upset, and Team Bonnie claims to have been blindsided, alleging the awards committee scrubbed Bonnie's name from the nominations.
Lily Phillips
So she was nominated as best indie creator and her name didn't come up on screen.
Interviewer / Narrator
Emma and the team already have some conspiracy theories. They believe the awards committee is punishing Bonnie for ditching her duties and not fulfilling her slot at the Expo booth where she was supposed to meet and greet fans during the week.
Lily Phillips
So my theory is she had an obligation to fill, which means that she needs to show up and sign at a booth for two hours. She was sick and she couldn't show up. But to not be shown on screen to me was. Came as a surprise. And that's. Yeah, it is what it is.
Interviewer / Narrator
Bonnie arrived late for her own coronation, only to find her throne already occupied. How did Bonnie feel when she didn't see her name on screen?
Lily Phillips
I think she understands, you know, what these sort of awards are for.
Interviewer / Narrator
From your team's perspective, what are these awards for?
Lily Phillips
It's a lot of ego and, like, I'm not gonna lie, we want a part of it because it's a bit of fun, but, you know, that's all it is. There's not much more to it.
Interviewer / Narrator
Emma leads the troupe to an exit. Bonnie is shielded by her little sister Summer, her videographer Josh, and her manager and secret husband, Ollie. They narrowly avoid bumping into Lily Phillips, who's in much better spirits.
Jay Rodriguez
Lily.
Interviewer / Narrator
Hi.
Jay Rodriguez
How are you?
Interviewer / Narrator
Hey. Good to see ya. Oh, good to see you. How did the awards go? Good, good.
Lily Phillips
It went well. Yeah, I didn't win, but there was some amazing nominations, so no wonder I didn't win.
Interviewer / Narrator
There was apparently a little bit of confusion inside the awards ceremony because Bonnie thought she was nominated, but her name wasn't shown on screen. Lily gives her team a nervous glance.
Lily Phillips
Chance. Oh, really? I'm not sure.
Interviewer / Narrator
And then she's pulled away by a member of her entourage I haven't seen.
Lily Phillips
Well, thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Interviewer / Narrator
Thanks. Across the parking lot, Bonnie's entourage is desperate to end the night. Bonnie's team ushers her to awaiting SUV that will take her away to her luxury villa. Last night, inside the concrete walls of her mansion, Bonnie bragged about being the main character. But tonight, the industry has shuffled her into the background. And in the brutal Nevada desert, blue fades to black. By sunrise, the red carpet is gone, the porn stars have scattered back to their corners of the Internet, and the casino floor returns to its regular programming of retirees feeding coins into slot machines. This was supposed to be Bonnie's victory lap. The week where she proved to the industry and the world that she is the biggest porn star on the planet. Instead, it became the week everything started to unravel. Bonnie didn't win, but she did get revenge. Well, sort of. A disease is being transmitted at the porn convention, which shouldn't come as a surprise, but it's not the kind of infection that you would anticipate at such an event. Everyone has been wiped out with a severe flu. And I know myself, I can trace it back to, to one Ms. Bonnie Blue, from when I spent intimate moments up close and personal with her in her bed while I interviewed her for this series. Every day, new people are falling down. Porn stars, porn producers, porn directors. I've had people rescheduling on me over the last 48 hours. No one seems to be able to get out of bed. All I really know is many, many pathology tests will need to be swabbed at the end of this ordeal. In the days that followed, more people fell sick. It was impossible to get any more interviews. But one warning kept echoing. There's plenty of girls who are flashes in the pan, girls who are here today, gone tomorrow. That's just kind of the nature of the beast, I think. But it happens all the time. And the questions kept coming. I've heard various things about whether anybody's actually seen these videos that they say they've made. It also seems far fetched, this thousand man, whatever. I don't even know where you find a thousand guys to Come and randomly.
Jay Rodriguez
Have sex with you.
Interviewer / Narrator
And Team Bonnie stuck to its narrative. Her team seemed to think that because she skipped out on a few of her AVN appearances leading up to the awards that she was scrubbed from the nominations. Right. I got word of this. That would have nothing to do with it. And we couldn't change it that quickly.
Lily Phillips
Anyway, even if we wanted to.
Interviewer / Narrator
Peter Warren is the editor of Adult Video News Magazine, the porn industry bible that runs the awards. He says he's familiar with Bonnie Blue's conspiracy theories following her loss at the Oscars of porn. And while her complaints might work at Louis Vuitton, they don't work here. He says Bonnie may have made the long list of nominations, but she didn't get enough fan votes to make the shortlist. They thought she was left out for some reason or whatever, but it's just. It was the top 10 vote getters who were displayed on screen. We can't display all 60 of them. So, you know, it's just the luck of the draw. And so you're saying that Bonnie's name was absolutely not scrubbed? It definitely was not scrubbed.
Jay Rodriguez
It's not media coverage.
Interviewer / Narrator
This is the answer to how you win. You know, I believe that it's who the fans like the most, who they voted for. And Bonnie and Lily, have you consumed their work? No. No. Why not? It's a little strange to me. I don't quite get it, you know, I don't know that I can put my finger on why. It's just. I just haven't really gotten into it. Meanwhile, Bonnie has remained in the headlines since this podcast was recorded. She caused outrage by announcing a petting zoo sex stunt that involved her being tied up in a glass box for 2,000 men. It never eventuated. Updates about her divorce from husband and manager Oli Davidson continue to be driven, fed detabloids. It's understood they're still legally married. She also started a pregnancy rumour.
Charlie Ford
So tomorrow I'm going to go take another pregnancy test because, well, I want.
Interviewer / Narrator
To know how far along it turned out to be false. I can't help but think back to a moment during our interview when we were in bed together. Have you ever fibbed about content or fibbed about something to get a headline?
Lily Phillips
No. Like, my thing I've been so passionate about from day one is saying something truthful, and if it's not happened, I've just said, you know what, like, no comment, or, like, no, it didn't happen.
Interviewer / Narrator
So you've never lied about any of your content No. A few months after I Left Las Vegas, OnlyFans made the decision to permanently ban Bonnie Blue. A representative told me her content is no longer allowed on the platform, nor is she an OnlyFans creator, and that this should be explicitly stated to our listeners. And what about Bonnie's publicist, Emma Gilman, with her blueprint for world domination? She has since quit. She says she stopped working with the creator a few months after I met them. It's a sudden change from the optimistic dreams Emma was conjuring on the private jet.
Lily Phillips
This is so crazy. I'm so shook. Wow. I was just absorbing it, you know, on the plane. I was just sitting there quietly like, this is up, you know?
Interviewer / Narrator
Do you think this is your life's going to continue over the next year?
Lily Phillips
I think it's going to get better and better. I really do.
Interviewer / Narrator
In a text message, Emma tells me Bonnie had different goals to what we had planned when we were working together, and it involved going down the rage bait route in a way I couldn't represent. I'm a bit worried about being tied to her brand in that way. But it seems Emma is not quite done with being part of the Bonnie Blue story. Just as this episode was about to drop, she posted a cryptic photo to Instagram showing her and Ollie embracing. It was set to be Olivia Dean song called Man. I need the caption plot twist, complete with a love heart emoji. I immediately reached out to her. She told me, we're in a relationship. We're just two people enjoying each other's company. I asked Emma when exactly they got together. She replied, recently. She then said she would not be commenting any further. Hey, the girl knows how to get a headline. Las Vegas is a city that runs on one currency. The gamble. Bonnie Blue wagered everything. Privacy, authenticity, the life she had before. The cameras turned on, the chips stacked up. The headlines came. A million pounds a month, she claimed. But the house always collects 20% to the platform. More extreme stunts to feed the algorithm. And that jackpot she's chasing, it's always one more hand away. She's still at the table. All in, still doubling down.
Lily Phillips
I earn over a thousand pounds an hour.
Charlie Ford
I'm the one with the most views. I'm the one that goes viral all the time. I am the main character.

The episode masterfully balances sharp, investigative inquiry with the lived reality of its subjects—combining sly humor, frank conversations, and empathy for both creators and fans. It neither glamorizes nor condemns the industry; rather, it illuminates the complex forces at play.
This summary captures the buzzy, bittersweet reality at the climax of "Sex, Lies and Streaming": the glittering rewards, the disillusionment, the competitive scramble, and the cost of living—and manufacturing—a viral fantasy.
