Born and raised in Norway, Oyvind Klausen studied in the United States and played collegiate soccer at Rollins College in Florida during the mid-1980s. He also played for the Orlando Lions in the pre-ASL era before returning to Norway, where he spent five seasons as a professional with IK Start in the Norwegian top division.Today, Oyvind is a media executive and former Editor-in-Chief of a regional media company. A lifelong football supporter, he follows the game closely at both the international level and in the English Premier League.
