Authoritative Legal AI here's your afternoon TNB Tech Minute for Wednesday, February 11th. I'm Julie Chang for the Wall Street Journal. An activist investor wants Warner to walk away from its Netflix deal, and Quora holdings has built a roughly $200 million stake in Warner Bros. Discovery. The investor says Warner inadequately considered Paramount's $78 billion all cash offer, and it opposes the $72 billion Netflix deal. Ancora's stake in the company is less than 1%, but people familiar with the matter say the investor plans to buy more shares and might launch a proxy fight if Warner's board doesn't negotiate with Paramount. Lyft logged mixed results in its latest quarter. The ride hailing platform reported that revenue for the fourth quarter increased 3% to nearly $1.6 billion, boosted by double digit growth in bookings. Activewriters and rides increased by 18% and 11% respectively, but were both Wall street expectations. Lyft posted a profit of about $2.7 billion, compared with $61.7 million a year earlier, but that included a $2.9 billion benefit from the release of a large valuation allowance. Looking ahead, the company plans to double down on its autonomous vehicle strategy and crypto lender blockfills has suspended customer withdrawals in light of the recent crypto plunge. The company temporarily halted client deposits and withdrawals last week when bitcoin dropped to $60,000, and a spokesperson confirmed the suspension is still active today. Blockvilles said it handled more than $60 billion in trading volumes in 2025. And that's it for your TMB Tech minutes. We'll have another quick tech update in the morning.
