Here'S your morning TNB Tech minute for Wednesday, December 10th. I'm Danny Lewis for the Wall Street Journal. Adobe is adding three of its apps to OpenAI's ChatGPT. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat will be available directly through the Chatbot, allowing users to ask ChatGPT to edit photos, create designs or edit PDFs. The software company is the latest in a string of businesses that have integrated with ChatGPT in an effort to get in front of the chatbot's more than 800 million users. Adobe's competitors Canva and Figma were part of the initial slate of businesses included when OpenAI launched its app integration ecosystem in October. Amazon and Microsoft are the latest big tech companies to double down on investment in India. Yesterday, Amazon said IT will sink $35 billion across its businesses in India over a five year period. The e commerce giant says this latest investment will focus on business expansion, AI capabilities, export growth and job creation. That came on the heels of Microsoft announcing a $17.5 billion spending plan in India over the next four years. That's in addition to the $3 billion the company had said it would spend in India earlier this year. And despite investor concerns that AI spending is becoming overdone, new research found that 85% of chief executives are bullish on its economic impact. A new poll by global marketing network Stagwell found that CEO respondents overwhelmingly believe the technology is entering a healthy growth phase instead of a bubble. The survey of 100 CEOs of US based companies with 10,000 or more employees found broad optimism that AI will add to productiv, help the domestic and global economies and improve competitiveness. The study also found they believe it will weaken the employment market. That's your T and B Tech minute. Join us again this afternoon for more.
