in McDonald's while supplies last. Here's your morning TNB Tech minute for Wednesday, April 1st. I'm Danny Lewis for the Wall Street Journal. Anthropic is racing to contain the fallout after it accidentally exposed the underlying instructions it uses to direct its popular artificial intelligence agent app Claude Code. The commercially sensitive source code was inadvertently disclosed yesterday when the company updated the tool in a way that outsiders could download and interpret. As of Wednesday morning, Anthropic representatives used a copyright takedown request to force the removal of more than 8,000 copies and adaptations of the raw instructions. An Anthropic spokesman says the leak was caused by human error, not a security breach, and that no customer information or data was exposed. Money manager Franklin Templeton says it will expand its cryptocurrency investing offerings by purchasing a spin off from venture firm Coin Fund. Franklin's head of innovation says that once the deal is closed, crypto firm 250 Digital will be renamed Franklin Crypto and will offer strategies that appeal to pensions, sovereign wealth funds and other institutional investors. The terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Many traditional financial firms have recently expanded their crypto offerings, spurred in part by the second Trump administration's open support of digital assets. And analysts say China's Robotaxi fleet could expand to as many as 500,000 vehicles in 2030, according to a note by HSBC Global Research. The unit economics of the country's driverless taxi leaders are starting to break even as larger fleets improve service coverage, reduce wait times and boost vehicle utilization, which in turn attracts more users and further improves unit economics. Regulators in Beijing and local governments continue to offer policy support to the industry and and robo taxi companies Pony AI and WeRide plan to have thousands of driverless vehicles on the road by the end of this year. And that's your TNB Tech Minute. We'll be back this afternoon with more.
