For the Wall Street Journal, we're exclusively reporting Anthropic has signed professional services firm Cognizant Technology Solutions and one of its biggest deals yet as the AI startup looks to make its flagship Claude models the preferred AI for businesses. According to Anthropic, Cognizant is now one of its three largest customers by a total number of enterprise seats, and it will roll out Claude to its 350,000 employees. The company has declined to share financial terms behind the partnership. Spotify gained subscribers in the third quarter as the company expanded its app offerings to include social messaging, playlist enhancements and higher quality audio. The streamer's monthly active users grew 11%, topping its prior guidance, and increased premium subscribers by 12%. Spotify posted a net income of 899 million euros, or just over a billion dollars, up from 300 million euros a year earlier. That's according to FactSet. Spotify's share price was up about 40% this year as of Monday's close. And finally, some more earnings news. Uber has logged a successful third quarter, reporting higher profit and revenue and notching one of the largest trip volume increases in its history. The company posted a profit of $6.62 billion, up from $2.61 billion a year earlier. Uber said the recent quarter included an almost $5 billion benefit from a tax valuation release. Revenue jumped 20%, topping Wall Street's expectations, and trips increased 22% from last year's third quarter with with a 17% increase in monthly active platform customers.
