Here's your morning TNB Tech minute for Wednesday, November 12th. I'm Zoe Culkin for the Wall Street Journal. We are exclusively reporting einride, a Swedish battery electric autonomous trucking company, said it plans to go public next year through a MER with a blank check company in a deal that values it at $1.8 billion. Both companies expect the process to generate gross proceeds of up to $219 million and a public listing in the first half of 2026. The announcement comes at a challenging time for zero emission trucking, particularly in America, which accounts for about half of the company's current fleet, where demand is softening after the Trump administration blocked or reversed state, state and federal emissions regulations. Shares of Infineon jumped after the German chipmaker said it expects sales to grow in the new fiscal year as demand for semiconductors powering AI data centers shows no sign of slowing down. The group said revenue in the year to end September 2026 should increase moderately from the 14.66 billion euros it reported for fiscal 2025. Infineon is betting that AI demand will continue to grow strongly and and raised its AI revenue target to about 1.5 billion euros in fiscal 2026 from 1 billion euros previously. Infineon stock is up more than 15% over the past 12 months in Frankfurt, and Infineon is certainly not the only company betting on AI. Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics maker, expects a strong year ahead as AI computing demand continues its explosive growth trajectory. The company said it plans to collaborate with OpenAI, an announcement the company will officially make at their Tech day next week. OpenAI didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Foxconn stock is up more than 35% so far this year and hit an all time high in October after its Chairman met with OpenAI's Sam Altman. That's your TNB Tech Minute.
