I'm Julie Chang for the Wall Street Journal. Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom are partnering to build what would be one of Europe's largest AI factories. In a deal worth about 1.1, the company said they would renovate an existing data center in Munich, Germany, and power it with up to 10,000 Nvidia Blackwell graphics processing units. Deutsche Telekom said the facility would bolster AI computing power in the country by around 50%. It's expected to start operations in the first quarter of next year. Advanced Micro Devices has reported sharp increases in both profit and sales for the latest quarter. The results come as a chip designer moved deeper into AI data centers and increased sales of personal computer processors. AMD posted a profit of $1.96 billion compared to $1.5 billion a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share beat estimates, according to FactSet data center revenue rose 22% to $4.3 billion. Meanwhile, Rivian Automotive has recorded a jump in third quarter revenue as vehicle deliveries and average selling prices increased. The electric vehicle maker posted a 70 to its top line for the quarter to $1.56 billion. Sales from the company's automotive business increased 47%, and Nintendo has boosted its Switch 2 sales forecast and earnings guidance for the full year. The Japanese video game maker reported stronger than expected net profit for the six months ended September. Net profit surged 83% from a year earlier to the equivalent of $1.29 billion, beating analysts expectations. Revenue more than doubled on strong sales of its new console and new releases from popular series like Mario Kart. Nintendo now expects to sell 19 million Switch 2 consoles by March, up from the previous forecast of 15 million. And that's it for your TMBTech minutes.
