Here's your morning TNB Tech minute for Monday, June 1st. I'm Imani Muliz for the Wall Street Journal. Nvidia has unveiled the first personal laptop designed to run AI agents using a newly designed version of the company's signature AI chips. The company is introducing the RTX Spark to power the computers and said it will work with six manufacturers, including Dell and Microsoft, to build the laptops. Eventually, Nvidia plans to have 30 laptop and about 10 desktop models using the new chips, which will be targeted at creators, AI developers and gamers, and priced at the premium end of the market. Softbank has pledged at least $52 billion to build a massive network of AI data centers in France. The Japanese company says the project will provide up to 3.1 gigawatts of computing capacity by 2031, making it Europe's largest AI project. French President Emmanuel Macron has been pushing for domestic data centers to help Europe catch up with tech spending in the US and China. And Motorola Solutions has signed a $1.5 billion deal to buy counter drone technology company D? Fend Solutions. D Fen's products help authorized drones perform assigned tasks by isolating and safely removing rogue drones from the airspace, helping avoid collateral damage and costly area wide shutdowns. Motorola says securing airspace against unauthorized drones is a rapidly increasing global necessity. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions. And that's your TNB Tech Minute. We'll be back this afternoon with more.

C
The reality now with AI and this type of data is we're entering into an era where the human is left behind and to be able to retain your very best humans is literally the only thing that's going to separate you from your competitors, because you and your competitors are going to have the same AI tools. It's just your humans against their humans. So you have to keep your best people.
