Here'S your morning TNB Tech minute for Tuesday, December 9th. I'm Danny Lewis for the Wall Street Journal. President Trump said he would let Nvidia export its H200 chip to China and that the US would receive a 25% cut, his latest bid to make money for the government in an unusual agreement with a private company. The announcement follows a meeting between Trump and Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang last week, where the pair discussed H200 exports, people familiar with the matter said. The move is a boon for Nvidia, which has fought for months to maintain access to the world's second largest economy. Anthropic and Accenture have struck a three year partnership to sell AI services to businesses seeking to help them obtain a return on investment that has so far been elusive for many. The partnership also makes Accenture one of Anthropic's three largest enterprise customers, Anthropic said. Accenture said it would train about 30,000 of its employees on Claude Anthropic's flagship AI model. The companies declined to share financial terms behind their partnership, and the European Union opened an antitrust investigation into Alphabet's Google, citing concerns about how it uses uploaded content on platforms such as YouTube to Power and train its AI tools. A Google spokesperson said that the complaint risked stifling innovation. The probe comes as Google gains ground in the AI race. The search giant released the latest version of its Gemini AI chat service last month, sending its stock Soaring and prompting OpenAI chief executive Sam Altman to declare in a company memo a code red effort to improve ChatGPT. That's your TNB Tech minute. Join us again this afternoon for more.
