One of the simplest things that you can do as a real estate agent is to have a tracker, but tracking the things that you should be doing in real estate, because our business as real estate agents is all about relationships, and this is how you build a business that pays for a very long time and that you can actually exit out of. It all starts with these five simple things that you need to be doing daily. I've got a tracker for it. I call it purposeful prospecting. We do a challenge every four or so months in our group coaching for a brilliant tribe. And I'm going to go through it with you so you can understand what it is. In fact, I want you to apply this to your business and run it for 10, 20, 30 days, however long you want, and you will see an absolute change in your business if you're struggling and if you feel like maybe you've hit a plateau. I'm Tristan. This is your daily real estate. It's a podcast, it's a show. It's been going on for two and a half years now. Pretty nutty. Here we go. Purposeful prospecting. Number one. We've got five, right, five things. Number one is the number five, and I have it here. I'm gonna be reading it to you. It's called text and Call. Text or call, five people, you know that you haven't talked to in the last 60 days. Days. And this allows you to connect with those people that you know you should be reaching out to but aren't. In fact, you can pick up your phone if you don't have a database, pick up your phone and start right in the middle. Or start with Z. You know, start with maybe L, M, N, O or P, or go ahead and start with Z and start dialing people that you know. Because what I found is real estate agents are really good at talking to people they remember, but they're not so good at talking to people that they haven't talked to for a while or they're just lost in their phone. They're never. They never have a plan around it. So this says, hey, you're going to text or call five a day. And this is what I've noticed. You're going on day 11 12. People start running out of people to talk to. They're like, oh, no, Tristan, I feel like I'm having a challenge talking to. Listen, go find somebody you haven't talked to in a long time in your database then. Or in your Gmail contacts. Or number two, I call 20. So it's five, 20 and this is it. You're going to spend 20 minutes a day on social media, but you're going to be purposeful because your goal in everything that you're doing with all these five things is to be dealing dopamine every day. You're a dopamine dealer. So when you're on social for 20 minutes, you're going to be engaging with people. You're going to watch Joe and be like, oh, Joe, you're eating there. Great. Like, comment and maybe message. And you're going to see Joanne and her daughter just graduated. Like, comment, message. Congratulations. It's so cool. What is she doing next? And you're going to do that for 20 minutes. And what you'll find is, over a very short period of time, people will start engaging back with you. They'll message you throughout the day. Because what we found when we worked with Facebook for four years is that messenger gives you a 98% response rate if they're already your friends, which is pretty huge, right? So 20 minutes a day, that's five. 23rd is one. You're going to post every single day for 20 days, for 30 days. And we're going to run this challenge starting June 9th. We're going to run it through the 29th, I believe. So June 9th through the 29th, for 20 days, you're going to go and post every single day. Starting today. I know we're in May, but you're going to start posting every single day. But it's purposeful. It's not just like, let me find something. Here you go. Post. It's things that interest you, things that maybe inspire you. Is it a quote? Is it something you found funny? Is it something about the news? Is it something about real estate? It doesn't have to be just about your business. It could be a picture of you and your kids, you and your pet. Maybe it's just your pet. Maybe it's what you're eating. Maybe it's what you're doing. The point is, post something and then when people, like, look who liked it, and then go and message them and be like, hey, thanks for liking my post. How are you doing? You probably don't do that piece. Next we got 5, 21. Another one, right? This is number four, and it's one. Meet a new person daily, Tristan. I can't meet a new person daily. Yes, you can. You can. You can do it. This is probably the most, I guess, toughest one. It's the toughest one. These people are like, tristan, I don't know where to go to meet people. I'm like, well, there's open houses, that's one. There's a community that you can join or a meetup, like a local meetup. If you like Dungeons and Dragons, guess what you're doing, you're going to join that. Or you're going to join a book club, or you're going to go join Rotary. You're going to join some type of club, like, like a BNI group, like a latip, something local that you can belong to because that gives you an excuse to go meet up and talk to people. Or you can go door knocking or last resort. You can meet somebody new on social just by messaging them saying, hey, I saw that you like my post. Thank you so much, appreciate it. Boom, done. Or you're to follow and you start engaging back and forth. Great comment, thank you so much. You get used to that process. The whole key is just to connect and get used to connecting with people. It's about making them feel great. It's not about selling them anything. It's about getting you into a practice of connecting because that's what it really is. Our business is all relationship based. It's about connecting deeper with people and letting business come to us because of how we show up. The last number one is send a handwritten note. And at this point, since this is the last one, it's pretty easy. You're going to go through and say, well, who did I talk to today? Who did I text? Who did I engage with on social? Wait, did somebody engage with my post? Wait, who did I meet today? You're going to go through. It's like, which one stands out the most? Note time. And these notes, what do they cost? $15 on Amazon plus stamps. There's no excuse not to do this because the world that we're heading into is more AI, more Internet virtually driven. So that leaves a desire for humans to connect more in person to receive something like this. And this brings it all together. Now if you need this whole thing, I have it all outlined. It's all on a PDF and I'd love for you to join us on this next challenge that we're going to do June 9th. If you want to be part of it, just let me know. There is a cost to it because it's part of our coaching. But again, I'd love to have you there. If you just want the PDF, message me either here or on Instagram. I check Instagram a little bit more. Thanks for being part of this and please share this with somebody that you feel may need this because they're stuck or because they've hit a plateau. Have an awesome day.
