One of my favorites next on Texas Live. Let's go straight to the Puppies Catering and Bartending hotline. He's covered the entire SEC in the college football landscape forever and he's younger than me. That's not fair. Trey Wallace joining us here on the program. What's up brother?

[Trey Wallace]

Why you got, what are you throwing out age for, man? You looking good today. Come on, man.

Oh, today, thanks. Of all days. Today. Today you passed the test. Nuno, how you doing brother?

[Trey Wallace]

I'm good man, I'm good. Just we're here man. I mean pads are popping out on the fields. We had a little bit last week, but finally getting to that point where it's time to focus on college football. And I know there's a lot of other things that are going on, but at least we get something here towards the end of the month.

[David]

All right, so this is where I'm at. We do a daily show that's three hours a day. So I feel like I have to like talk about the business of sports sometimes and probably too often to be honest with you. But I am just whatever it is, I'm just gonna watch the games on Saturday anyway.

[Trevion Williams]

Right.

[David]

But I found Friday's news dump at whatever 7 or 8 o' clock at night, whatever it was. To be like, okay, after not having any hope that something's going to happen. Now I have hope. Do you still have hope here on a Monday morning?

[Trey Wallace]

Yeah, it was interesting Friday night because we had the court case out in Colorado that dropped around 7 o' clock and then all of a sudden bam. I knew that they were going into votes, the Big Ten, the SEC. So that was going to happen around like 8:45. And so we're sitting here and we're wondering what the final language of the bill is going to look like. We're going to get that on Monday today. I think that heads into an interesting three days where they're going to have a vote on the Senate floor. So I to go full circle on your question here. I think that they're going to pass this on the Senate floor. When it comes to the Protect College Sports act, getting it through the House is a whole nother subject. So that's to me where it's a double edged sword is okay, we can discuss this this all week. They're going to argue about the meeting, the media polling rights that are in there. They're going to argue about the team having to be an independent for five years if they want to leave a conference. Hello, fsu, Clemson, Miami, and others out of the acc and then you're sitting here, you're wondering, okay, you do all of this work, you get it through the Senate, everybody's happy, and then what happens when it gets to the House floor and it's potentially shut down? So I think that there's a lot of people that are excited that they got to this point. Now let's see if they can drum up the votes to get it even onto the president's desk, which is a whole different story.

[David]

So let's kind of play this out. If it got approved by the how and it becomes law, it is what it is. College football's got his government helping. Okay, then what? Like then do we have a flurry of transfer portal activity immediately? Do we have a bunch of coaches leaving early? Like it, are you grandfathered in because you were already in college? How do you think that part plays out? I haven't read all the language. I don't know if you have those answers.

[Trey Wallace]

Yeah, so the interesting part is going to be about, you talked about, you ended it right there with the grandfathering part. What does the NCAA do when it comes to a situation for somebody wanting to transfer? One of those rules going to place. Look at what's going on right now because of the, the five year rule five and five. They did not establish the 2022 class. So everybody's up in arms and freaking out because of a ruling in Colorado. To me, it's almost as if with Congress, because mind you, this is going to be like they're going to govern this at the federal level now. They're going to look, they're going to give power to the NCAA and they're going to protect them so they're not in the courtrooms all the time. But to even get to that point is going to take year, year and a half, like you can sign it into law. It doesn't go into effect immediately. I am, I am curious to see what they try to button up before we get to that point. And I think also at the same time, looking around the country right now, are there going to be conversations that are started about potentially taking other schools from other leagues? That's something else you have to keep in mind here. If you've got to be an independent for five years, what does that mean for somebody like Clemson? Let's just throw out for Clemson for sake or Florida State. Potentially no revenue from television. You're not getting conference revenue from that part. I think you look at it and you say, okay, what do the SEC and the Big Ten want to do when it comes to expansion in the future years. And I think in reality what would happen is, David, you would see those teams that are having those phone calls, maybe wait out the ACC contract that would end around 31, 32 and then make a move. But again, you know, we, we talk about what's going to happen with all of this if it were to go through. And I think even if you look at the small things when it comes to a salary cap, when you look at the retention pool, okay, is that going to be in place? Like here's the kicker for that. Say they get it through the house and the president signs this, are they going to have that into place before January when the portal opens up and you're going to be able to use, excuse me, 20, $20 million to retain players, but also at the same time have $21 million, $21.5 million for actual rev share. That's spread out. So again it's, we don't know right now if this were to go through, if they're going to have 40 plus million dollars to work with for all athletics, are they just going to have the $21 million to work with for all athletics. So to me, that's the kicker. And then also when can players, you know, if this, and we're saying all this as if it was going into law. So when can star player, when can Marcel Reed potentially sign an endorsement deal with an apparel company that does not affect the Rev share cap at a school like that? To me, these are all questions going to be very interesting because what happens when you get into the summer of next year and you're still trying to figure that part out. So a lot of things have to happen. But again, you're working on a timeframe here where you essentially have to the end of the football season right when the portal opens up to make some of these moves and if not, and if it's into law, that's where I'm saying it could go into another year. And then what's going to happen? More lawsuits at the state level trying to figure out can this player go here, what does the portal look like. So it's going to be complicated. Like you thought. I had this conversation with a college head coach over the weekend. You thought it's interesting now with everything going on with the court ruling out in Colorado. Wait till if this thing becomes a law and they try to cram in so much different stuff in a span of like 6 to 7 to 8 months and then let's see how many lawsuits are filed from there. So I, you know, I'm fascinated to see how this part plays out and we'll get a better understanding. A little bit of a timeline probably later in the week.

[David]

Trey, I thought I was going to ask one question, but I got two follow ups. So I'm going to ask two questions, right?

[Trey Wallace]

I don't care. How about it?

[David]

Let's, let's go and then we'll get into real football because that's what I really want to talk to you about. All right, so am I understanding it correctly? The Big Ten under this guideline could only add one more school and in their mind they wanted it to be the Notre Dame at some point and the SEC can only add three. Right. So that means Miami versus Florida State, rushing for a spot in the sec, I'm assuming unless they go to the Big Ten, Clemson, North Carolina, like so there's going to be like a, they're probably like right now starting. I mean, they've already started months and maybe years before, but the chatter, like, to me it's like it's an arms race who can get there the fastest.

[Trey Wallace]

So when those schools sue, the accident, you knew what they were suing for. Obviously they're trying to figure out, okay, when can I get out? How much money is it going to take? I would, I would, I would, I would guess that they knew where they wanted to go back then. But here's the problem is you just kind of hit it. If the Big Ten can only add one school, the most lucrative out of all of those is Notre Dame. But Notre Dame seems to be pretty happy right now as an independent with the money they're making. Now they can make, in my opinion, a lot more money if they were to join a conference like the Big Ten. It's not going to be the sec. Notre Dame, my personal opinion, not joining the sec. But then you look at the others. Let's just say Miami, Florida State, North Carolina, those are three schools that the SEC would go after. And, and, and so Maybe it's the SEC's advantage here that they're only currently sitting at 16. So they can add these others. But when you look at the Big Tens case, it's like, okay, we're gonna have to make a tough choice here. It's who are we going? You know, I don't think there's a gamble with Notre Dame. And again, I say all that to say this like, I think Notre Dame's happy with where they're at, but I think at the same time the other schools are going to be interesting to me because if you're only allowed to get three for the sec, you better pick the right ones. And I think at the end of the day, North Carolina would be one of those just straight in general.

[David]

So North Carolina, Clemson and Miami or Florida State that.

[Trey Wallace]

See, that's where you got to make the call. That's where it gets interesting to me. Because if the Big Ten can only add one, is Miami or Florida State the one that's left out? Or do they say, okay, we're going to go North Carolina, Miami, Florida State and leave Clemson out? Now we're getting to a point where, oh, boy, big decisions have to be made here and we're talking four years down the road because of. I would imagine that those schools would want to wait out the grant of rights, deal with the ACC and then be able to join, especially from a television network standpoint. But again, you have to get this stuff going. Now, we remember when Oklahoma and Texas joined the sec. Obviously it looked like it happened overnight, but those are conversations that were being had for a while.

[David]

I'm sorry, I still got something. Wouldn't they want to do it before 2031 so they didn't have to wait five more years to get in?

[Trey Wallace]

Well, the interesting part of that is if this holds true, where you have to be an independent for a certain amount of years, again, this all goes into play when the law, and we're working here and talking under the assumption that the law gets passed, do you wait out that period and go independent and then go join the next conference? Like, I don't think that either one of those schools wants to sit around and wait till 2034, let's just say 2034, to join another conference if they were already going to make that move. So it's, you know, that's where the language of the bill is also. And I also think that could end up in a courtroom. Like you want to tell me, for business purposes, I have to sit on the sidelines without a conference for five years because I want to go do the better thing in a free market to increase the revenue at my school. You're telling me I got to go sit around and be on the sidelines for five years independent? That part has never made sense to me with this language. But I get why they did it. They did it to please the Big 12 in the ACC because they did not want those conferences to be rated immediately. And then the SEC and the Big Ten prosper. That's why it was put in there.

[David]

And here's my last one about that because I do want to talk college football, but I keep lying to the audience. Why did the SEC and Big Ten change their mind?

[Trey Wallace]

I think there's a number of different answers to that question. I think when they finally got the language put in when it comes to associated entities so that, let's just say one school is a Nike school, okay? You are now able to go out and even though you have to report the number, you can have your star quarterback go sign a 5 million deal dollar deal with an apparel company and not have to worry about that being added to what's going on in general when it comes to your funds for a rev share when it comes to. Because you got to remember also they've thrown in the $20 million to retain players, so there's more money to work with, even though that has to be spread out. I think, look, the SEC in the Big Ten, I talked to a couple of different presidents and chancellors from, from both of those conferences and the one thing that stood out to me was they wanted some type of federal help. It got there to the end game where it's like, okay, sign on or we're pushing forward. They got pretty nervous at the end, you know, even though they wanted it. It's a whole different story when you actually get the federal government involved in college athletics. So I understand that part. And we're also sitting point, David, where we don't know what this is actually going to happen. So right now they're coming up with backup plans and backup plans would be to govern themselves, works out for them. Like, I'll be honest with you, this thing when it comes to the language, when it, you know, they had the, the, the retention pool increase, so really it's about $22 million, $5 million for, for women's athletes. I think that they also said, hey, we have to make sure the media rights pooling is voluntary. We can't get sucked into a deal that the Big 12, the ACC and others do. And then we lose out on money down the road. So once they had those loopholes closed, I think that we're good to go. There's going to be arguments still made down the road, and I understand it, but I think for right now that they were ready for some type of federal help. And I also don't buy the conspiracy theories that just because the Colorado judge did what she did on Friday night, that gave the NCAA ammunition to get people over to the finish line.

[David]

I got a trey Wallace here on Texas. All right, Trey. So football wise, yeah, it feels like three months ago, but it was just eight days ago that I got back. Whatever it was 10 days ago, and I got back from SEC media days. What was your big takeaway, man?

[Trey Wallace]

I mean, you can go a couple different ways. It felt like there, the aura about Alabama that I did not feel it at all. And. And maybe that helps Kaylin DeBoer. In no way am I saying flying underneath the radar here, okay? But it's surprising to me that it's kind of shifted away and it just didn't feel like it, man, when Alabama walked into the room, it just didn't feel like it. And I think that, again, that works out their favor. I think that for everything that we're building into the Ole Miss versus LSU game on September 19th, it's like, okay, they have to remember they have games after that. The season doesn't end on September 19th. You know, Texas A and M is going to be waiting awaiting lsu. Florida is going to be awaiting Ole Miss. Like, it's, It's. That's not the end of the day. Like, I get it and I understand the fans perspective and us and the media that. That do it, but the season marches on. I look at this overall, it's the Longhorns. There's a lot of pressure on Steve Sarkeesian this year. He's got. And he said it. Look, he said the semifinals aren't good enough. That's fine. But Steve Sarkeesian, the Texas Longhorns better be in the semifinals this year. No more excuses from Texas. They got everything they wanted. When it comes to the transfer portal, when it comes to how much they spend on their roster, the quarterback situation, wide receiver on the defense. He brought in Will Muschamp. No more excuses for Sarkeesian. He's got to do it this year. I'm not saying win a national championship, in my opinion, I'm saying make it to the semifinals. Because we never know what can happen when you get to the Final Four teams in the country. But we're at that point now where you have to take that step. And I think if they end up with three losses, I start to wonder, are folks in Austin, Texas, like, okay, if he couldn't do it with this squad, he's not going to be able to do it with any squad. So that part to me also stood out. And then I think a lot of people are underestimating what Marcel Reed and Texas A and M can do this year. I'm not saying that Because I'm sitting here on Tech sags. I've preached that for the last five or six months. I think that Mike Elko and what they have the opportunity to be top five team in the SEC and to potentially be in that conversation at the end of November where we're looking at them and saying, okay, I think the defense got better. I think Marcel Reed got better as a quarterback. Maybe this team can make a run in the cfp. So that's kind of where I am right now. Obviously we could have gone 18 different ways of that answer. And Lane Kiffin continued the stick of, you know, I'm going to be this zen guy right now before the season starts. But I think those would probably be my main takeaways besides Pete Golding just saying, you know what, I was going to come in here and be the gentleman, but I'm just going to go off on the NCAA and Dabo Sweeney, which I don't blame him one bit for.

Trey, what team under the radar, you know, SEC wise, did you come away saying, you know what? I don't know if they're gonna be really good or anything, but they're gonna be significantly better than we thought. And I got a couple in my mind, so I'm just gonna see if your mind's in the same place.

[Trey Wallace]

I am loving the Florida Gators right now. Me too, in a sense of. I think John Summerall is that dude. I think that it's really good that they're not 150 different staffers running around in his building. Seems like he's tightened that up. He understands the, the mission. I'm not saying that Florida is going to be a CFP team this year. I'm saying they're going to be a problem for other teams this year. That, that they'll have to fight their way through. Florida stands out to me. And again, I, I understand what they have when it comes to a roster, but I think that they rebuild that program a little bit easier. I think Will Stein, to me, like Kentucky's going to be a problem here. Here's the, the Kentucky. I'm not saying Kentucky is going to win these games, but Kentucky is going to be a problem like they were like four or five years ago where it was very, very tough to win against them. You had to fight it out for all four quarters. You're not laying down. Maybe they win a game or two that they're not supposed to. So I really enjoy what Will Stein is doing right now. I think that obviously we'll see it on the field and it's going to be a process. But I do think that those two teams kind of stood out and probably the most under the radar team that folks I think are just writing off because of last season and not looking at the roster is South Carolina with Shane Beamer. To me that looks like an eight or nine win football team this year. Let's go see what they do. Understand it. But in my opinion, they've got a top five, top six quarterback in the sec. They got a defense, Dylan Stewart coming off the edge here and I think they had the talent at the wide receiver and the special team. So I think South Carolina rebounds after last season, which just, it was a catastrophe on all levels and injuries played a big part. But I wouldn't sleep on South Carolina this year. Again, not saying they're winning the SEC or anything like that, but I am saying they can at least be in the conversation to start the month of November.

Trey, everything you said, I feel like you were reading from my mind because I agree with you on South Carolina, Kentucky, all that. So I'm going to ask you this question to close out for A and M. I know that the November is a brutal stretch for anybody, but for A and M especially. Right. I understand that. I feel like A&M's first half of the schedule though could line up nicely for them. Not just because I think they'll, they'll be favored in a lot of these games, but getting Arizona State so early, getting Kentucky so early and getting LSU so early, I feel like could bode well for A and M. Look, I

mean I, I look at September 28th, like to me it's Missouri State win, Arizona State win, Kentucky win. And then you got to go to Baton Rouge and then Arkansas obviously is right after that, which that should be a win. Yeah, that LSU game essentially will set the tone. But again, I go back to what I said a second ago. What if LSU comes off a loss right in Oxford and, and, and, and they're having to buy. I know that game is in Batson Rouge and that's, that's great. But again, how much are you putting in? I think it probably, it means a little bit more to Ole Miss in a different way compared to lsu. So what I'm saying is how much gas are they giving out in Oxford and then having to come back and play a very, very talented Texas A and M team. So to me it sets up for a 5, 60 stretch right there if they catch LSU. So you know, this could be something for the Aggies this year. I understand the back half of that schedule, but it's all about getting off to a hot start. And I think what they have with Marcel Reed leading the way this year, I think Mike Elko has done a really good job of delegating things. They have an opportunity here to kind of set the tone and what happened, you know. And either way, too, I'll end it with this. Like, even if LSU goes to Ole Miss, David, and wins that football game, it's okay. Can you come back down to reality and know that you're playing a massive game against Texas A and M the next week? That to me, kind of just boulders into what happens the first month of the season.

Talk to one of the most accomplished running backs in A and M football history, Good friend of the show, Trevion Williams joining us on the beach catering and bartending hotline. What's going on, sir? How you been, man?

[Trevion Williams]

How we doing, man? Thanks for having me.

[David]

Thank you for joining the show. So let's catch up. You're living in Katy now?

[Trevion Williams]

Yeah, living in Katy, man. I got the house built out here. Loving it. It's crazy because I make the joke with my parents that I'm actually closer to Texas A and M than I am to my own parents house. So right down the street from am I Aggieland. So it's been treating me well.

[David]

It's amazing, man. I just did the drive yesterday. You can get to Katy literally in about 50 minutes, right? Maybe the way you drive a little faster, but the way I old man drives, I'm going 50 to 55 minutes.

[Kaylee Dreyer]

Yeah.

[Trevion Williams]

No, Lily, it's right down the street. Literally like two freeways. It's like I'm feel like I'm right there, then I'm on. I'm on six, and then I'm cruising in Aggie land. So it's been treating me well. If I ever need to get back, it's hop, skipping the jump. So I can't complain at all.

[David]

So catch us up. Talk about this transition in life. What's going on? What are you working on?

[Trevion Williams]

Yeah. So obviously still donating in year eight. You know, still trying to. Still trying to keep it going with. In negotiations. We're going back to Cleveland, kind of start out a little bit. So all you can do is just stay. Stay ready right now. Just training and stuff and waiting for that call. But in the business world, man, I'm big in the development stuff, man. I've been loving this real estate stuff. I have a development company called Williams Royal Development, inc. And I've been doing residential commercial development stuff, and I've been finding so much joy in it. And I always love the business stuff. Like I love football. I do. I love everything about it. But, you know, during the off season, I take that football hat off and I put that business hat on. So been enjoying that. And that's been taking the bulk of my time being a dad, just being a family man, enjoying the family, taking care of life, and just enjoying every step of it, man. Can't complain at all if I wanted to.

[David]

Yeah. Well, Travion, I think it's interesting you're at this point in your career where you can keep playing and still play at a high level. You can go down the business path. How do you stay ready? Because I know training camp, some people need it. You strike me as the kind of person that you're. You stay ready.

[Trevion Williams]

Absolutely.

[David]

Yeah.

[Trevion Williams]

It's crazy, man. It's. Yeah, it just. When you look at it's year eight, it's. It's crazy where the time goes. So it's like it's not my first rodeo, so I know absolutely the ins and outs. I know what I need to do to keep my body ready. And this thing is, you got to be ready so you don't have to get ready because that call can come at any moment in time. And, you know, so I just got to be able to do the things necessary. So I know that my body can fire on every cylinder, you know, when I'm ready to step in there and make that play, make that thing. So whenever that comes, it comes. But just making sure, every single day, I hone in on the things that my body needs, mentally, physically, emotionally. So. So when I'm ready, I can go out and do it at a high level.

[David]

I know you've said it on the show before, but do you remember what the biggest deciding factor was? Why you picked A and M as a high school kid?

[Trevion Williams]

Yeah, man. It just never, never grows old, man. It's crazy because throughout that process, they always spoke about the Aggie Network. And it's like now actually being in the Aggie Network and connecting with so many influential Aggies and people that really help allow me to take my next step within the business world. And I've met so many genuine, good people. Just, for example, I just went to the Aggie Real Estate Summit that they just had a couple weeks ago. But just opportunity like that to connect some of the top Aggies in the real estate world. And you get to really just see, like, okay, this Ag Network is something you could really use, because it's not what you know, it's who you know. And I'm just understanding that and allowing that AGA Network to really help me make that next step. And that was just something that was, you know, preached to me throughout the recruiting process and being able to live it out now. I always say, man, Texas. And it was the best decision I ever made in my life, and I. And I wouldn't have been for the world.

[David]

When you were coming up, A and M was known as a sleeping giant. We hope we're past that. So kind of talk about the journey of, you know, helping set a foundation for your time at A and M, and then what Coach Elk was trying to do with this group.

[Trevion Williams]

Absolutely. It's all about. It's all about building stones. It's all about those pillars and those foundational things, and then you just got to continue to build on them. I feel like we did a good job when I was there, you know, start to build that foundation. And Elko was a part of that. So Elko was there building that building that foundation. Foundation as well, with the defense when he was a defensive coordinator when I was there. So I had great respect for him in that regard there. And we used to have many transparent conversations about football, about life as men, and. And he's an amazing guy. And when they made that hire to get him back. I was extremely excited because I knew the man he was and I knew the leader he was. And. And we would. And when we were there, Jimbo gave him the freelance, the opportunity to be the head coach of that defense and how he ran that defense and how he had those guys honed in. I knew that he was a leader. So when he went down to Duke and success that he had, it was no surprise. So being able to get him back, I was extremely excited about that. And I feel like AG really fits him. I feel like he's what we need to move forward and to be able to be successful. And it's. And it's. It's no surprise why they had the success that they did last year and with being able to go as far as they did with the College Football Playoff. But that's just the foundation of what he's building. And I had the opportunity to go speak to those guys a couple weeks ago as well, speaking on some nil stuff and just speaking, you know, heart to heart. And I had some real, you know, was having a conversation with those guys and every single person that was in that room, they were locked in, and you're just speaking about, you know, what was the necessary things for you guys to be successful. And I was telling them, it's like, it's not about the coaches. It's not about the foundation. It's not about the 12 man. It's honestly about you guys in this room because nobody else can come save you. And just to see the. The type of guys that they recruited, I'm excited about the direction that they're going, and they. They embrace their role. They embrace who they are. They embrace the 12th man to represent them the right way. So I'm excited about the leaders that they have in that room, and I'm exc about the direction that they're going.

[David]

Treveon, you've had pocket passing quarterbacks, you've had mobile QBs. Let's talk about Marcel Reed and his growth. What do you expect to see from him this year?

[Trevion Williams]

I'm extremely excited about Marcel. I got to have some good conversation with Marcel as well, and I love his mental space, and I sense the stuff he was talking about that he was saying that he's in a completely different space now than he was last year. And just to see his jump that he made from the year before to last year, to see the things that he was doing, the plays that he was. Was making, and I'm excited for him, for him not to have left for him to stay here, trust the process, trust Elko, allow him another year to grow and really see the success that he can have. And I hope that he do a great have. I hope he has a great year and I know he will have a great year. But just to see how he can be a pocket passer, he can stand in the pocket, make that throw, take that hit, he's a tough guy, but also be able to use his legs. That's the most pivotal aspect of a mobile dual threat quarterback is to be able to use your legs in a standpoint where you can't be able to be a pocket passer. But he's a great leader, great guy and I'm excited to see what they what he brings to this offense and hopefully can get him a Heisman man. Hopefully we can bring him back one, bring him back one of them, old Johnny Manziel.

[David]

So I would love to see that man. So how do you follow up a season that was really good but ended prematurely in my eyes. When you do have in this new landscape where the roster does change quite a bit, not only because of the portal, although A and M did great keeping guys retention, but because they sent so many to the NFL, how do you continue that kind of brand of football for back to back years?

[Trevion Williams]

Oh, absolutely. It's all about foundation, it's all about building up. And that was one of the things I was talking about. One of the guys asked me and they was like, yeah, we know in 2021 you went to the Super Bowl. How was that team before you went there? And I'm like. I was like, that was a great question because I said every year is a different team. Every year you got guys leaving, you ever got guys coming in. And every year you have to build a new identity. And this year' team has nothing to do with last year. Last year's success pays no standpoint to what you guys are doing this year. This is a brand new team, brand new opportunity. And I'm excited for them because they understood that and they understood that, you know, this is a new 365, this is a new year. This year. The 2026, 2027 season is built on right now. And right now is what matters. And right now is the only thing that can, that can really allow you to make that next step. So I think that they're ready. They seem so locked in. I've been, I went to a couple of practices like the intensity is there. All the aspects of what they need to be successful is there. And yeah it's going to be some pieces that they have replaced. You know, they put a lot of guys into the league and I. I noticed that. I didn't realize that Texas A and M had, if not the most guys that went to the combine last year. So. Yeah, so it's going to be. It's going to be hard to replace, but at the same time, that's the power of recruiting and, and I feel like we did a great job with, with the portal, getting the necessary guys to fill those unnecessary pieces. We got upbringing guys that guys are waiting on that opportunity. And it's all about opportunity. That's the game of football. And that's the beautiful thing about football. That's the beautiful thing about life is, you know, when people leave, it's new people, new people that have new opportunities and new names will be born. So excited to see who those new births of success are, who. Who moves into those new roles and, you know, this is just an opportunity to build new legacies and see how that goes.

[David]

Travion, whatever your future holds, I'm super excited about if it's a couple more years in the NFL or the real estate business or maybe broadcasting here on tech sags. I wish you nothing but success, man. I hope to get you here in studio soon.

I was watching this video with Jonah Hill. I tweeted about him. People were like, why? Because he was talking about how he could destroy people on the BJJ mat. And my brother sent me a text. He's like, as a real person, in martial arts, you never tell people that you can destroy them. Right? And I think that's what Signetti is doing here. He's letting people know, like, hey, I can handle all the targets or all the. The gunshots that are coming my way, because I'm going to shoot back. He can say that the Big Ten can say that. That I have gotten to a point. It. Yeah, I can think the SEC is better because I. Oh, it's such a grind. Oh, yeah. I Woke up at 4am I did that. All these things that people can do, right? Like, at the end of the day, what's the result? The result is the Big Ten can talk all the smack they want because they've won the little bowl games, the ones that don't matter. They've won the playoff games, and they've won the national championship game, and they've done it with three different teams and a team that no one in the world would have predicted ever.
